We could be the founding members if there's not. I bought two things today and am bidding on more. I get really annoyed when someone outbids me in the last few minutes, it is like road rage! :-D

oh me too!! I hate when I lose an item for less then 50c .. I get so cranky haha...

hahah you girls are hilarious with yr ebay rage. i know how to spell anonymous thanks to being a member of one of those 12 step groups (which will remain anonymous) in a previous life iykwim. now i cant even remember the steps off the top of my head. thank god.

alternative to dieting - heath journaling. i realised i needed to track what i was eating as i still had pregnancy eating habits and don't really need the added psychological stress of gaining weight, so i started journaling. it's not neccessary to write every item down, i just list the groups and tick off the serves : for example, cereals 4-9 serves, veg 5+, fruit 2-3, nuts/seeds/soy products 1, dairy alternatives 2, other (naughty)0-1. that way i know if i need a snack at 2 am, i'm sposed to eat mainly vegetables as i've reached my quota on all the other groups. and you cant pretend you didnt already have chips, chocolate and icecream in one day. so far so good. oh yeah one other column - exercise 30 mins+. sometimes i feel like i've eaten badly but when i track it all i see that i haven't, but i need to remember to eat more fruit. so far so good!

yeh good night was had... We took Olivia swimming then she was dressed and fed and asleep by 5:30.. Still asleep when I went to bed so started think oh bugger,, She didn'twake till 1am **jaw drops** and went straight back to sleep (within 30mins) and then woke again at 4:30.. and then again just after 6...

All I can say is WOW... That a great sleep even though she woke kwim?

Yay for the swimming & the sleep aussienic - I wish there was somewhere we could go swimming...!! (Just for me to cool off mostly lol, Scally had THE BEST NIGHT she's ever had last night, boast coming lol)

I have started really enjoying Little Miss alot more these last few days... hardly any crying since I have been bfing her whenever she's grumpy, which is not much during the day then we go to bed together & watch tv! I read in Baby Love on friday night (well into the 5th hour of unexplained screaming) that 80% of happy, healthy babies start to have periods of unexplained crying around week 3 (spot on if you count miss being a week over due lol) that can last from an hour & a half to 5 hours... I was reading it aloud to DP like "OMG, it's all here!! This is EXACTLY what she's doing!!" and read on eagerly for the 'soloution'... unfortunately or fortunately, not sure yet lol, the only settling thing that was in there that works with Scally is the bfing. I was glad it was even in the book though, made me sure I wasn't torturing her in some unknown way!!

Last night she decided it was bed time (as in, time to go to bed w/me, not to go to sleep herself) about 8.30 which I didn't mind as I'd actually managed to get through dinner with my family uninterupted!! She bfed & snoozed alternately until going off to sleep something like 10.30/quarter to 11, then SLEPT UNTIL 3am (I know this wouldn't seem like a big deal to most of you, but OMG, that long at night for her is UNHEARD OF!!), grizzled a bit at 15 past 4 when DP got up but went back to sleep until 7am!! 7 freakin' am!! I was extra tired this morning though... something to do with having more sleep than I'm used to lol.

She's just had a feed & I've put her in her cot again... can hear grizzeling... if it escalates into crying I'll have to go settle her again... oh there it is... sometimes it takes a couple of go's lol.

Yesterday Sofia was really uncomfortable (hadn't done a poo in 3 days - sorry ftmi) so I gave her a massage and she loved it, was making lots of eye contact with me and making her talking sounds, then she went to sleep for 3 hours. - Also glad to say she did her poo this morning - was scary, very scary.

Do any of the Sydney girls want to meet up sometime?

Louise: hope Maria is well enough soon for swimming. I have managed a couple swims since Olivia was born but they are very short as without fail she wants me not long after getting in.. But yesterday I was in for about half an hour which was great..

QM: thats an awesome sleep for a under 3 weeker.. go Scarlett!!! and I hear ya onfeeling more tired. Thats what happens when you get mnore sleep then ou are used to

Can I just do a little dance **dance** I am just so happy today :) Olivia is just awesome! I read her cues at 8 and she went back to sleep for an hour and then I thought she was tired again at 10:30 but I was busy and she seemed ok but no I should have watched more closely as she was ready then.. So I got her up at 11 and fed her and out her in her cradle AWAKE and shut the door and she is asleep WOOT!!

It just makes life so easy when things flow..

well girls, sounds like a good night/ day for some of you!

all good here, another great night... slept from 10:30pm-4:30am!!! awesome! and has been sleeping well all day!! it feels like she is finally getting into a "grove"... poor thing still has a little trouble burping... and then she scrunches up in pain! :( so i bought some Infacol oday to try.. and take it from there.. it's always after boob though... she doesn't have the same problem when she has a bottle of EM!....

no i wouldnt do that to u alicia. But im sure ive annoyed alot off ppl already, i used it this arvo and 2 ppl were fighting over a portacot and my bid came in at the last 10 seconds and i won it.(bought it for my dogs lol) hehehehehe (evil laugh)

ooo and on some good news, i weighed myself today and ------ starting at 70kg, and getting just over 90 when ash was born, today im 77kg!!! yay! just 7 to go! not bad me. :D (she says woofing down a bag of twisties..hehe)

and yay on the weight loss. i am back to my pre preg weight and I still want to lose another 20 by Xmas..

Olivia is asleep for the night already.. thing is she went at 4:30... Whats up with that? She hasn't had a bath and is in her clothes she has had on all day.. she had a bath this morning tho..but she did the grossest poop this afternoon.. I should have bathed her then but she was ready for a nap..

Aussienic - took bubs for her first swim this arvo & yep she is sound asleep as we speak - will be interesting to see for how long. She has been a lot better the last day or two - easier to put down & sleeping longer!!
Haroula - funny isn't it about the boob vs. expressed milk. Maybe you have a fast let down & she takes your breast milk too quickly hence the wind issues whereas the teat would dictate the speed she gets it. Sounds good to me (& a midwife thought that could be my problem :))
Hope everyone else is just dandy - & thanks for the ebay bidding tip - may just have to use that one day for something I really, really want!!
