Happy Valentines Day lovely ladies :)
I hope you all had a great sleep last night & have a fantastic day xxx
Renee: I'm sorry to hear about your sister leaving :(
As for bleeding, I bled 6 weeks after birth but I think it was AF. Could it be AF for you? If not perhaps you should ask your doctor.
Caixin: Hooray for C giving you better nights :)
Poor you spending 20 minutes changing pooey nappies :(

Babyluv i'm not sure. It has been going for 11 days now. It stopped all day yesterday and is back today!! I have a sore back, like period pain but i think it is from the epidural i had. It is really clotty which is why i think it is not AF just yet. I have called the clinic and am waiting for someone to call me back. Thanks.
-
Renee: I would DEF get that bleeding checked out!! I bled again at 4-5 weeks but it was only light and bright pink, no clots... clots usually indicate that they have been sitting in your uterus so it could potentially be bad. Boo to your sister moving!! It sucks having no family around! And I don't think it is mastitis cause it's my actual nipples not the boobs, although I am getting shooting and dull pains all through my boobs right now! Oh wait... I just got let down!! hahaha... my boobs started dripping as I was typing. LOL... I don't stop leaking!!!!! to Mr whippy!! I don't have Mr Whippy, I have a slushie machine or something!! Her poo's are soo watery and just splurt out her ar$e! I love the face too! she goes all red, then tenses her whole body and you hear the squelching as the poo comes splurting out! LOL
Caixin: Yay for longer sleeps!!! That's so exciting! And LOL to the poo!! C does that with peeing! Everytime we change her nappy, she pee's!!!! It goes all up her back, god I have had to wash sooo many suits just cause she pee'd on the change table and it went up her back.
Babyluv: Are you doing anything for V day? How is Sienna doing lately??
I booked in for my pap smear at the family planning clinic and they said they would do my 6 week check up too!! :) I am terrified of a PS but glad I can get it all over and done with! And I have to book C in for her 6 week check up too...
Well :heartbeat: Happy Valentines day :heartbeat: Hope everyone has a good day/night!!
-
Renee: LOL on Mr whippy! I think claire's more like slushie too. Sometimes it's also very very bubbly, like too much fart has gone into it. Awww sad that your sister is leaving, it's hard not having family around isn't it? Well at least you've got another place you can go visit. I would certainly get the bleeding checked out. When I had my bleeding it was very heavy with large clots but I was soaking a maternity pad every 2 hours. Ended up having placenta remains still in there. But with it stopping yesterday sounds like it'll be nothing nasty. Let us know how you go ya?
Mizqtie: Glad K is sleeping well! Wow to teething already!
Babyluv: How's Sienna for you last night? Was she a good little girl?
Mrs Bexie: LOL to C's poo expression! Claire does that sometimes too, and makes a really loud groan too. LOL. Leaking is good, means you're making lots of milk ya? Yay for booking in ur PAP smear n getting checked at the same time, at least it's all over and done with.

Hey Ladies,
Not up too much tonight. I'm cooking corned beef for hubby, he's been nagging me' for it for about a week :)
We will prob walk our usual 6ks which I'm doing every day but I haven't lost any of my 10kgs yet :(
What's everyone else doing with their loved ones for vday?
S has been coughing yest & today & now I'm starting to worry. I thought maybe it was because of her reflux but It seems worse today! I checked her temp and it's fine! She is supposed to have her vaccs on sat but I don't want her having them if she's sick.
She was a good girl last night, slept 4.5hrs then 2, can't complain :)
-
Babyluv i have made a lasagne and chocolate tarts for dessert. I also made choc chip cookies. Have been on a bit of a cooking frenzy today. Got a lovely bunch of flowers from DH and he took miss Ava for a walk this arvo so i could have a beautiful hot bath and relax!!!!
-
Babyluv: I made cupcakes (photo on FB) and wrote I love you on them, and I am making a lamb roast with roast veggies for dinner (his fav and I don't eat red meat so it's pretty special!)... he didn't do or get anything for me which kinda upsets me. He felt bad when he saw the cupcakes... I know it's not because he doesn't love me, he just honestly does not conciously think "I will do something nice for her, I will spoil her" which really sucks.
And Renee, hubby taking Ava so you could have a bath is so sweet! DH wouldn't even think to do that for me.
Has anyone here not DTD yet? We are attempting to tonight and I am so scared but sooo excited. God I hope it doesn't hurt!!!!!
-
MrsBexie: We've dtd twice & both times it hurt, it didn't feel nice at all & I'm scared it's going to always hurt now :(
-
Mizqtie: poor K teething, what do his gums feel like to you? G has been whingy and clingy and wanting to chew on a thicker dummy or my hand, her gums are a bit bumpy like I can feel the teeth under there. I don't know tho, what do you think?
Renee: aw yay for having time to yourself for a bath! Looking forward to hearing Ava's length and weight, she looks sensational in the pics you put on FB!
Bex: we havnt dtd as such, fooled around a couple of times but i havnt been brave enough for actual penetration yet. Good luck! I'm sure you'll be a happy lass tomorrow and we'll all know why ;) lol
Babyluv: don't check the scales everyday!! Good on you walking all that way tho, making me feel slack! Hope S liked her long sleeps so much she keeps them up!
Caixin: hopefully those sleeps stick around! Is your body adjusting for that extra hour yet? Sounds promising to me!! Are you going to have a go at sewing Claire a Teddy? I think you'd do a great job of it!
Shelly: bevans bl00dy bridge looks fantastic!! And so does Xani, all that hair!
Kirsten: how are you and your gorgeous munchkins?
Well G has been a big clinger, last night she fed for an hour, wriggle around unsettled and grizzly, threw up, wriggle a heap more, doze for 10 mins and then repeat the whole process from the top! She's flakes out on me now, poor little thing.
Pumpkin patch has a big sale on!! I don't usually go in there coz it's way too pricey but got a cute headband for $2 today!! :D
-
Bex you go girl!! We haven't dtd yet as i am still bleeding, yuck!!! Will be scared when we do though. Clinic thinks it may be AF returning but is concerned about the clots. Need to see GP but as of lunch today everything has stopped. No blood or even brownish discharge weird!!!! My body doesn't know what it is doing!
Little_mrs i hope G is more settled for you tonight.
-
We've fooled around too, but under strict instructions to stay away from the hole! Haha... I honestly am petrified! But if I don't do it now it'll be scarier!
-
Hello hello
Bummer, I'm behind again, I feel like I am so out of touch...
Bexie: Oooh scary. We haven't DTD I am way too scared and still have a tiny bit of residual dischargey stuff, although apparently we will be DTD on DP's birthday...23rd...eeeep! Love the cupcakes, they are gorgeous...and look VERY tasty too! Loving your avatar!
Little Mrs: Ivy has been clingy tonight too, wanting to feed and cry a lot...this unsettled time is hard work, for DP right now, he's upstairs bouncing on the fitball with her :) She sucks on her hands a lot.
Babyluv: it won't always hurt :) but takes a while for it all to go back to normal, I can't remember, did you have stitches? And I can understand the wanting corned beef, yum! I love it
Renee: I want lasagne and choc tarts!! YUMMMMMMMMM
Caixin: Hooray to the longer sleeps, lets hope they get longer and longer. Ivy does exploding squirty poos but they look like seeded mustard  ahhh bet you never thought we'd be in here discuss baby poo!
HI to everyone else...hope all of the valentine's day folk are having a great night. Neither DP or me are into V day so we don't do anything.
Looks like I've caught DS's sore throat thing, I have the scratchiest sore throat and annoying dry cough. Not sure if Ivy has it, but her voice sounds a bit sore throaty, not sure if it's because she's tired of because she's been screaming for so long....ok, she's worn DP out, my turn
-
little mrs- yep K's gums are bumpy, white and really rough....An idea put her dummy in the freezer get it nice and cold if she goes really crazy on it then id look into teething stuff, also does she bite your nipple when breastfeeding her?? K does to me he will cry and i will think hes hungry put him on the boob and he suks for abit then starts chewing on it instead
i use brauer teething relief its good stuff so far
DTDing does get more comfortable, just give yourselves time to get back into feeling like it, i have read breastfeeding can take away the feeling of even wanting to dtd and it has done with me.....After your first baby you kinda dont know what to exspect when you dtd again, after my first i dtd when he was 3wks old, this time it was a week, the first time hurt but i can dtd now and it doesnt hurt at all
Renee- you sound like your doing what i did, i stop/start all the time its really weird, last thursday i had an ultrasound just waiting on the results now too see if it explains why im bleeding....Right now i have stopped again but we shall see how long for!
-
Babyluv: Good on you for walking 6 kms a day! I'm sure the weight will fall off slowly, probably your body just starting to get your metabolism up again. How's S's cough? I'm dreading the vaccinations, C has to get hers next week. Didn't do much yesterday but did receive a beautiful card from DH.
Renee: Hmmm a hot bath sounds devine. Been ages since I've had one. Might have to look into organizing one... How's the bleeding going today?
Mrs Bexie: Haven't really been in the mood to DTD. Maybe it's the breastfeeding stuffing up my hormones and urges. LOL. Honestly, I'm not looking forward to the first time. My OB recommended being on top the first time so I can bail out if it doesn't suit me.
Little mrs: I'm thinking of sewing C a dress or something but haven't had time or energy to look for patterns or go to spotlight. It's so hard to get things done these days. :P Yay on the $2 headband. I love sales.
Kirsten: I had never imagined I would be smelling bums all day everyday to find out if C has pooed! Much less discussing poo. Haha... Ekks to coughing and sore throat. Is ur DS feeling better?
Mizqtie: You're brave to DTD so early on. Glad to know it does get easier. Hope ur scan results are alright.
Claire's been a monster again yesterday. Grizzled all day yesterday, sleeping only 45 mins each time throughout the day. Then woke up every 1-1.5hours last night. Gosh I'm exhausted today. Didn't sleep all morning except for a short 30 mins in her sleepy wrap. Wishing for the cool weather to come back coz it brings back my little angel girl again.
-
Caixin the bleeding has stopped for now! Hope that is the end of it.
Just had Ava weighed and she is 5.18kg. She has only put on 300g in 3 wks. Is this normal? I know she was a big girl born but i thought she would have put on more than that.
-
Renee: is that 300g from her birth weight? Coz if she lost a bit in the first few days like normal then the weight gained number will be higher...if that makes sense... I think as long as she's not screaming hungry all the time then you probably don't have to worry, she looks happy and healthy in the pics :)
-
No she was 4.7 born dropped to 4.5 then back up to 4.8 by two weeks. So it is 300g from 2 weeks old. She is drinking and doesn't vomit heaps so she is retaining most and is happy and healthy looking just was a bit shocked it was only 300g in 3 weeks.
-
renee- little-mrs said it right as long as Ava isnt screaming hungry all the time then she is obviously getting enough to eat so i wouldnt worry too much about it right now...A gain is a gain, as long as she doesnt start loosing then dont be too concerned just yet
