Big hugs Mad B :)
EJ - Hi love, how's the tribe?
PP - Hows my little girl going?
Audax - Congrates love yay, How many weeks are you? We travel up to Dorrigo every year I hate the drive 8 hours the kids are soooooo painful. You are soooo lucky that your little one was sooo good.
Not much to say, I'm 24 weeks getting soooo fat. Charlie boy is such an great baby lets hope the next one will be the same.
Cathie :)

Wheeeeee Audax! Enjoy the ride! I hope you're feeling well? How far along are you? Wow, that's four of us now :) Congratulations!
Cathie, she's going so well - new words all the time and so steady on her feet now. Still a little bit of biting but really it was only a friendly/excited nip on the shoulder when I picked her up yesterday so it's no drama anymore. We really must catch up IRL before we both have a newbie to contend with. Millie and Charlie can chase each other around :)
Went to the International Women's Day breakfast this morning. Amazing. Sally Sara was the keynote speaker and she was just incredible. Lots to think about in terms of how well we are cared for in terms of maternal health here - I know not everyone gets the birth they want, but hoo boy, if we were in Afghanistan... I met Sally Sara afterwards and got pictures of her with me and my students. She also signed my copy of her book, heh heh :) The Governor-General walked right by me, so I smiled and she smiled back :) I feel like a little kid when big stuff like that happens.
Hugs to all xox

Hi ladies
All good here, Charlie boy is 3 tomorrow!!! My big little man :)
We've just been doing our weekly thing, kinder, swimming, music and all the inbetweens. I've been walking back and forth from kinder and swimming whenever i can and have noticed a difference in the amount of petrol/gas we use. I think i've only filled up twice since we got back from our holiday :o
Harper is doing well, surprises me every day with the things she does. Sleep though has kind of taken a backwards step a bit. She was doing so well, i'm not complaining about the lengths so much but how i have to get her to sleep. She's even being extra difficult during the night so i'm a bit of a zombie at the moment. We have two teeth now and i'm getting a few nibbles at the end of a feed :o Really not fun.
Audax, congratualations hun!!!! All the best for a very happy and healthy pregnancy. Woo hoo little miss nell gets to be a big sister :)
PP loved your little story about your DH and his little lady, so very precious. I hope things are progressing well for you :)
Kazbah hope you and the men in your family are well also. Thank you for your recent help :)
Cathie all's well here hope you guys are too. Sounds like cheekie charlie is pretty much up to keeping up with the twins now :)
More hugs for you MadB, still thinking of you and your family xo
Better get moving girls, i've got shopping to do and presents to buy and sewing to get done for my friends little ones first bday party tomorrow. I think tonight could be an all nighter until it's done.
I've sewn a few quilts lately. Still need to have wadding and backing but they look pretty good if i do say so myself :D
Have a good weekend ladies xo

OMG pixie I love Sally Sara. Jealous! I'm 6 weeks, due November. Again. But this time due at the start of November, so might actually have a November baby.
DD has been playing mummy - she spends her whole day changing nappies, feeding, and putting her teddies to bed. It's very sweet. She was getting a bit frustrated with the ones who couldn't sit up, so we built a highchair out of a cardboard box, with toilet roll legs. She's also been very helpful in the kitchen, we made banana bread, and I let her put some of the ingredients in, and stir (lick) and break up the bananas. She loved it. She helped to wash up too.
Oh, and I left her yesterday for the first time. Swimming pool creche. She aced it.

Hey Girls!!
Audax - CONGRATULATIONS!! That is fantastic news! I wish you a very happy and healthy pregnancy. All these beautiful preggy ladies are making me clucky!! Nell sounds so clever, I bet she's grown soooo much! I miss seeing her beautiful little smile. Hope you're feeling well.
EJ - Things sound super busy your way! I can only imagine! Sounds like you're doing really well though. Harper sounds like such a doll! I'm glad that sleep has improved, I hope it stays that way. Enjoy those bf'ing snuggles!! You've done so well!
Cathie - Hope you're feeling well and the kids are behaving for you :)
PP - How you feeling with your pregnancy? Hope you are doing well. Millie is such a little sweetie. You did so well to have your first night away, sounds like DH stepped up and did a great job! My DH wouldn't be able to cope with the night, let alone digging out a special outfit, that's so gorgeous!
MadB - big  for you. I hope you're feeling ok. You and your family are all in my thoughts.
Hello to everyone else!
We are going good here, Jacob is such great company, he talks all day (mostly babble, with a few words in there), gives beautiful kisses and cuddles. I'm still breastfeeding which I am really happy about, I remember hoping that breastfeeding would work for us before he was born, but never did I imagine I would still be feeding at 15+ months. I do worry sometimes about how we'll eventually wean, even when he's tired he'll pop in his dummy and snuggle into my chest, it's his 'happy and safe' place haha. I'm sure it'll work out when the time is right. He has really bad eczema at the moment, I have been trying so many different creams but nothing seems to work. As if sleep wasn't bad enough he has been waking through the night upset cause his hands are itchy... :( it is so frustrating. I think I'll go to the doctor early next week and see if they can help out.
Take care ladies. xo

Oatmeal sock in the bath Jules? That Moogoo eczema cream? Could it be food related? One of the babies in our MG has had bad eczema problems, it ended up being food, and now she's off dairy eggs and nuts. Hope it's not that though.
EJ - Happy birthdays to Charlie! Your big guy indeed.

Hey guys!!
It has been ages since i posted in here so im really sorry for everything i have missed!!
Xavier has grown up so fast! He is into everything but his favorite thing in the whole wide world is his booby LOL and his 'toot, toots'!
He is such a little boy now! he still doesnt sleep in his own room though, mummy's bed is just way better. He has been walking for ages now he even has this cute little run thing happening. We have 6 teeth still, and almost no hair, i am almost convinced he is never going to get anymore hair or teeth. He is still onl;y 8.9 Kg so right down on the 3rd percentile but he looks happy and healthy to me so i am not worried at all!
I have just started Uni, so this is a bit of a learning curve for me! trying to balance 4 kids, a house and Uni and have some sort of social life is pretty tricky!
I see a few people have jumped right back on the pregnancy band wagon! Congrats ladies!!!!!
If there is anything else major that i have missed let me know!!!
Bobbie

Hi all!
Hey Mumma Bear, welcome back! Millie only has six teeth too, pretty cute huh? What are you studying at uni?
Jules, great to hear from you! So glad you're still breastfeeding him - hope people have stopped nagging you about weaning! I concur with Audax re Moogoo or oatmeal for eczema. I have finally got over the nausea, which is nice, and am now just eating for Australia. Pud is cruising around quite happily, it's nice that I could feel him/her so much earlier this time, or at least was able to identify what those weird flutters were a lot sooner :)
Audax, I love what you get done with Nell - all that building and cooking!
EJ, happy, happy birthday to your Charlie xox
Millie had a rather hilarious wee incident tonight... after a very splashy bath, she took off down the hall in the buff, paused, then came back looking like she wanted to say "ummm... Mummy? Oopsie." I followed her out and she pointed at a little wet patch on the carpet. "Did you do a wee?" Nod. "That's okay, let's put your nappy on." She toddles into her room. Crack up :)
We had to farewell our little cat yesterday. She just got so weak so quickly that it was the kindest thing for her to let her go. I don't think it has completely sunk in yet, I imagine in a few weeks time the permanence of it will really hit me. Millie was asking for her this evening, as Tink, even when she was ill, was always around at dinner time. Millie was at the vet when we let her go - a little macabre I guess, but we didn't have anyone else to look after her and we both needed to be there. She patted her and said bye bye, but I don't know if she understood. We will get another cat when we're ready - DH and I are both pet people and we want Millie to grow up knowing how to care for animals.
I hope you're all well xox

lol, Millie is so cute. I was actually looking through some of Millie's baby pics on Facebook this afternoon. I can't get enough of baby pics lately. Bring on July!
Hannah was spending some time pants-less this afternoon. A mixture of her escaping and me being too sore to grab another nappy and chase her down... She was sitting on the kitchen floor and I saw her pause, look down and start gently tapping the floor. I said "Did you pee, Hannah!?" and got "Yuck" as a response. She's so like me. :)
I told her to 'wait there' while I staggered off to grab a rag to wipe it up.
She's also started to look at her 'belly button'. Or her 'freak-o belly button'.... Better stop calling it that, hehe. She loves touching DH's, and is facinated by mine since it popped. DH pinned me down the other day and he got Hannah to touch my belly button. Not fun!!
Gah, I'm so over the tantrums!! Hannah will slap/hit and bellow at the top of her lungs if she doesn't like what's going on. I'm so broken and don't know what to do. Even removing her from a situation is hard because she goes all floppy and slips out of my arms. Such a ratbag.
Then she'll come up to me 2 minutes later for a hug, and she's just started to give kisses which is nice. Usually. Sometimes she gets excited and it's pure slobber or full on lick.
Any ideas about the tantrums?
Loan finalised today, should get a real settlement date very very soon. Eeep.

Hi all,
Charlotte, with the tantrums I tend to tend to let her go - she'll throw herself down and yell, so I'll just sit a little way away and either start reading a book or playing with one of her toys. She usually comes around and snuggles up for a story or a play. It can be exhausting though, especially now I'm getting a bit bigger around the belly and she is SO strong - it really worries me if I'm holding her and she does either her planking or ragdoll poses. Hoping all comes through with your house!
Millie has been looking for Tink. She even looked behind the quilts (I have a quilt rack that Tink used to sleep under) and was calling "cat? Cat?" Doesn't help that DH and I still leave the back door open for her, look for her in the yard etc. I made tuna mornay tonight and it wasn't the same without my little shadow demanding her piece of tuna.
Speaking of tuna mornay Millie decided tonight that she doesn't like it with corn. Has always eaten it with corn in it, loves corn in anything or on its own... but tonight - oh no thank you so very much! Would not touch a mouthful unless we showed her that it was corn-free. What? Hoping she'll snap out of it for tomorrow.
Well she peed on the floor again directly after her bath on Wednesday night, so I bought her a potty. We're not really intending to toilet train her any time soon, but two wees at the same time two nights running... I thought it couldn't hurt. So on Thursday night, we showed her what is was for - tried to get her to sit on it, demonstrated how one sits on it... nup, no go. So we haven't tried to put her on it again, but nor has she weed on the floor :)
Hope you're all well.

Hi ladies, how are we all?
Things are good here. Harper and I have just returned from a residential stay at a sleep school and my god i know it sounds crazy but it's the best thing i ever did. As you know i've worked really hard to make changes on my own and i definately did that but just needed a little help to get me to where i wanted to be with her. I think we're on our way now. The expereince for me was definately a positive and although Harper presented her challenges they weren't as challenging to work through as some of the other mums and bubs who surprisingly to me where all similar age. They may not have such positives feelings as i do but i hope they found it helpful in some way.
The sleep side of things was one thing that i have been able to focus on in an environment that allowed me to do just that but i also did heaps of thinking. Heaps of soul searching in a way and come out of there with a bit of a new lease on life. Possibly a funny place to do so but time and place was just right for me i think. I know i'm a good mother, an attentative mother and do my absolute best every day but being away i have thought about and realised that there's more i can be. I want to stop stressing about the things that dont' matter and really take a good look at the things that do. The one on one time i spent with Harper was amazing and i know i've had my weekends away and DH taking the boys away but in my own home i still don't stop. But in a place where there was nothing more to worry about than Harper and myself i really really spent time with my little girl. I played on the floor with her for hours at a time, i sat STILL in a chair while she ate her meals such little things that seem so difficult at home but really shouldn't be. So there is a different person that came home today and i'm going to start making a few changes. I'm really excited about it.
One of them will be to take a break from BB. I love it and love keeping in touch with you guys, love the chats and the things that i have learnt along the way but it really is a distraction that i don't need with 3 little ones at home. I wish my self control was a little better in that i could just not turn the computer one for a few days but i can't. So i think i'm going to take a break for a few months. I know i'll miss it and i hope i don't regret it but i think it's something i need to do.
In th mean time girls look after yourselves and the ones you love (and the tummies). I will come back and check in some time soon but until then bye for now. I will be thinking of you all xoxo
ETA Audax just say the new avey!!!! Love it :)
-
That's great EJ! We'll miss you but totally understand what you mean
:hello:
-
EJ that sounds wonderful! I am so happy for you!
If I am gone for a while, it's because I'm spewing  It is so hard with a toddler underfoot, which seems ridiculous, because when I was last pregnant there were 10 toddlers underfoot, but this seems worse. I'm going to have to get help I think.
-
I'm still here... put in my request to be banned but not sure if i've missed a step because i'm still here :dunno:
-
lol EJ. It gets missed often. maybe PM onyx or rouge
-
Haha thanks MadB, like they don't have enough to remember anyway :)
Talk soon ladies xoxo
-
Hi all, just quickly hoping to catch EJ before she gets banned! I will miss you but totally get where you're coming from - so glad you had a good time at sleep school and have found some clarity. So much love to you and your beautiful family - "see" you when you get back xox
Oh Audax, on the spewing. I haven't had MS but just having had a stomach bug on the weekend, even one day of spewing was the WORST. Felt so debilitated yesterday that DH had to stay home to look after me and Millie. Can you get help? Is there someone close by for you? Take care xox
MadB, thanks so much for loaning me the wrap - I'm still working on it! Will get it back to you ASAP.
Millie peed on the floor again before her bath last night, and we don't make a fuss at all, just pop her in the bath, but she had the most serious look on her face and seemed upset about it, like she had done something wrong. We haven't pushed the potty at all, it just sits in the bathroom... in fact she sat on it (with nappy on) of her own volition last week while I was on the loo (humph, for a minute to myself!!), so I don't think it stresses her... any thoughts? Should we put the potty away altogether?
She kisses my tummy now which is just so sweet, and sometimes blows raspberries :) More words coming by the day, she loves "twinkle twinkle" and tries to say "diamond" and makes the hand movements :) Daycare is having an Easter hat parade next Thursday, can't wait. Oh Lordy I need to make a hat! Heheheheheheheheheh I love this Mummy gig :)
Thinking of you all and hoping you're doing well xox
-
Eleanor does the Diamond too! So sweet. She sings Row Row as well.
She is copying me spewing. She gets a bowl and goes "Baaaaaa" into it. Gross, but , but gross.
