Oh don't get me started with sleeping issues :( Brendan has been waking 13/14 nights and not re settling, I asked the CHN about it... thinking it's the snoring thats affecting it. Ack I could really do with a good night sleep!

I'll come back later to do some personals... we're just having a quiet day here today... we went to the footy last night, and Harrison loved it. Everytime the ball came up our end, he would call out "BALL" and have us all laughing. He even baby flirted with 2 teenage girls behind us! They thought he was gorgeous (they're right of course! lol)... Harrison would turn around and look at them and smile etc... very cute.

Lisa, Brendan will be under a general anaesthetic... which is scary! We will be in the hospital for the entire day, and hopefully no longer. I know I've made the right decision, he isn't outgrowing it, but I still can't help but think about what I'm going to put him through :( My biggest fear is that he has a reaction to the general :(
Well another night lost, he was awake by just after midnight :( He's down for a nap atm, hoping to get a least 1hr!

Hi Girls,
How are you all? Long time no see I know. I have been avoiding bb for a while, but I miss you guys. I do read from time to time and it is mean for me to know what you are all up to and you not know whats going on with us. It feels slightly stalkingish in a way. So I am back if you'll have me.
Well other than Tobi and I are both sick atm, we're ok. Tobi has started to talk again and I am slowly starting to understand him. He still has a lot of trouble getting words out (he says bowl for belly), but at least I know when he is hungry (narna) and thirsty (bottle) etc.
He is starting to climb now, so my house is no longer baby proof, and he is getting into a whole new range of mischief.
He is loving learning his animals and has lots of little figurines and flash cards that he follows me around with, asking what it is and what sound it makes. And he loves the Wiggles. He would watch them all day if he was allowed and will only ready wiggles books atm.
And loves trying to unlock doors etc. with keys. He can get the key in and out and unlock the filing cabinet with no problems (after losing the first set of keys and I had to order more from internet). I don't know if it is a good thing him being able to do it, safety wise, but it does take a lot of skill to work it out. I try to give him the wrong set of keys for the front gate if I can manage without him noticing.
I am still dieting and have lost 23kg all up now and down to 65.9kg. I just want to lose a couple more and I am happy. I went shopping last week and got skinny jeans and a size 10 skirt. So it is starting to sink in that I am not big anymore.
My Dh gets home in about a month. It has been a really long trip and I have been struggling a lot. At one stage I didn't want him to come home. But I am out of that rutt and looking forward to seeing him again and TTC. Although he is only home for couple of weeks before he goes away again for seven weeks, so we wont actually be together when I am ovulating till Dec.
I am still studying and so far behind. When I was sad and cranky couple months ago I did nothing and now I am paying for it. I have 5 weeks till my assignment is due and so much to read before then, so that is all I am doing when ever Tobi is sleeping.
I have Tobi booked into occasional daycare for one day a week and was supposed to be starting today, but we'll wait till he is over his chest infection. It was so hard trying to work out what colour labels to get etc.!!!
Remember me talking about how I started letting Tobi into my bed if he woke up during the night. I have broken that habit, but he still wakes up about 3 or 4 nights a week. They are so much harder to sleep train at this age.
Tobi has 9 teeth now, but all totally in the wrong order. The four molars were the last to come through. OMG that wasn't fun. Hopefully DH will be home before the next lot come through.
Sally - So glad to hear you are back and that Brendan is doing so well. We'll be thinking of you next week when you get his tongue fixed up. How is everything going with you and DP now that you are living together etc? I hope you are well and happy and Brendan starts sleeping better soon.
Ryn - What ended up happening with your head darl? You vanished and we never found out, been worried ever since.
Kristy - So glad to hear the pregnancy is going well (I still think it is a boy). Are you going to try and toilet train Erin before bub comes or anything big like that? I can't remember if you put her into a big bed or not already.
Jayne - How are the bunnies? Any more babies? The neighbours have rats and Tobi loves to visit and stick his finger in the cage! They have about 40 babies ATM. How are you going back at work? The girls go to your Mums place right? Are you still doing your sit ups etc everyday?
Lisa - I am sorry to hear that you have a meanie on Facebook. That is part of the reason why I don't have a page. How is the diet going darl? Have you asked anyone about Harrison talking with his mouth shut? I am sure that he is just trying to explore the world of sound etc. and its just a learning thing.
Kel - How is the reunion planning going? Have you worked out what you are going to wear?
Does anyone use PeaPods Nappies? A friend showed them to me last night and I am really impressed. I think I might convert.

Tashie, LOVE my peapods, they are easy to clean and dry quite quickly too. Brendan wasn't too happy over winter in mcn's, but will probably go back into them after his surgery and needles, when he's feeling better. I also have Babybeehinds magic-alls AIO they are great too! Peapods seem to hold more wee though, so if Tobi is a big wetter you may be better off with them. I got mine through bambinipronto almost a yr ago for $10... so shop around, you can get some wuite cheap!!
I'm not game enough for overnight use... he's in huggies overnight.

My head... is all over the place. But my nerve damage, nothing has been done. This is the NHS, after all. I'll have moved to Donnie before anyone gets anything organised! TBH it may be worth coming back down to get the tests done.
We're looking at moving again, but this time DH is organising house viewings. So that's good. And looking at jobs.
As for nappies, cloth at night rocks. I went to change DS's nappy at midnight the other night, first night change in about a year I think, and it was bone dry! He had been up every hour pretty much (DH didn't change him with poo and he has a nasty rash, which chemical nappies at nursery flared up again yesterday) and no wee! He does do a massive one first thing in the morning. But he's now able to sit and play again, which he didn't do the month of teething pain, so that was great this morning hearing him giggle and play with his giraffe and tiger (he has 7 toys at the bottom of his bed for mornings plus his blanket and his Herr Hare).
Tashie, you're lighter than me now I think, I daren't weigh myself atm. Well done you!
I hope it is the last day of winter, Sal - I want my summer! We had some nice weather June and July but mostly cloudy and one nice day last month, but not summer. I want summer! Although autumn means brand-new night garden on the TV so that's good too.
Best be off, I'm starving but Tuesday is my no lunch day so best concentrate on something else. bye!

completly selfish post for a change (i crack me up!)
JEMIMA WENT TO THE POTTY AND DID A WEE ALL BY HERSELF!!!
i was drying my hair in the bathroom after we had a shower together and she was just walking around and then she put her foot in the potty we have sitting beside the toilet (2 bucks at a garage sale) we have sat her on it once or twice before her night time bath but that is it.
so i told her that you dont stand on it you sit on it
so she sat on it and did a wee!!!
then she got some toilet paper and wiped her bum and put it in the potty then GROSS she picked up the toilet paper all wet and put it on the lid of the toilet so i opened the toilet so she could put it in and then i picked her up so she could flush it!!!
too exciting - she is not a baby no more!!!

You know, I was just thinking exactly what Tash said the other day...... I try to get on and catch up with what you are all up to, but usually don't have time to post and have been feeling a bit selfish and stalkerish myself lately...!
I am just soooo exhausted lately and not because of any exciting reason like being pg.... just everything getting on top of me, I'm just such a slack, lazy person that i am behind in both of my works, plus am doing work for DH now, plus am trying to organise our kitchen reno - blah blah blah...... i know i shouldn't complain, just tired..... well, little rant now finished.... stay with me!!!

Tashie, nice to have you back too, but i am lucky, we get to hang out, so i usually know your goss..... however i didn't know you were thinking about MCN's???? I don't have any PeaPods, but have heard many negative stories about them from people on the pocket nappy sub-forum..... but Sal seems happy with them.... I love Monkey's FuzziBunz/HoneyChild's and Haute's and have heard that Bumgenius are also awesome - we can chat on Fri. And I agree with Ryn, MCN's rock at night - we never really have any trouble with them, just use a double insert, which is a bit chunky, but i figure doesn't matter when they are just at home in pj's.
Sal, good luck with TT op for Brendan - must feel good to finally be getting what you knew was best for him all along!
Kel, thanks for talkin' me up!!!! We had an awesome time with you and Jem the other day and I was thinking the same thing.... wish i lived back up there and we could hang out more (no offence Tash :hug: if we moved, i'd probably hassle you to get DH t/f back too!!!)

Monkey update:
Talking continues to be one of her strengths, growing teeth not so much! (she still only has 8).
Our big news of today, was that she slept on a mat with the big kids at day care and was a very good girl, no mucking about, no crying, so no more pram required to be trudged in and out of day care anymore - yay!!! They also went down to the family day care main centre for a wildlife thingy - they got to see and touch snakes/lizards, possums etc.... sounds like she had an awesome time and wasn't scared at all, i guess she's too young to have learnt that fear.
She has also stopped (almost totally) pulling hair and hitting other kids. She still pulls my hair, but we are working on that - actually i'm trying to ignore it and hope it goes away too... Kel, you've got nothin' on my lazy parenting techniques!!!!
But I do have a question..... Monkey has woken a few times recently screaming, often around 1145pm and when she eventually calms down enough to talk she demands milk! So, i have been giving her some, cos i figure either she really is hungry/thirsty or she at least needs it for comfort - its really odd, cos she has never been a "milk at night" kinda girl since she weaned, it's almost like she's regressed a bit. i don't really mind, but am just wondering if anyone has had this happen and what have you done?
I'm sure i have more to tell you all or ask about your lives, but have forgotten and am tired now.... I am going to make an effort to try to catch up with you all at least 1/wk (hopefully that doesn't cause too many groans....!)

Kym, DS seems to be having nightmres at the moment. He just cries and cries and needs to be picked up, cuddled and then have me in bed with him - for six hours last night. I am nearly six foot tall and cramming myself into a toddler bed isn't easy. But he doesn't need a cuddle, I can roll over and have my back to him and he's fine. Got to stop soon but it could be all sorts of things, I'm hoping it's pain because then the waking will stop soon!
Kel, I am so pleased to hear about the potty. We may be moving soon - DH wants us moved by Christmas I think! - so I'm not going to start a potty yet. But DS was naked and no wees for over an hour this morning. Then wanted me to read him a potty book at the doctors. If we weren't going to move soon I'd be starting now. So pleased DS isn't just super-precocious again.
I'm proud of little man today because... he knows not to play with litter. He knows that you pick it up and put it in the bin. I always remove litter and bin it if he looks like he wants to play with it and now Liebs is doing the same! OK, not happy about him touching it in the first place but WHAT a good boy! He's also getting more and more and more words, today he told me he was doing "big steps" in the park. He was as well! Genius boy.

Ok, i know i said 1xwk, but i have big news.... but first i'll reply....
Ryn, I was wondering about the same with Monkey, I have heard night terrors can start around 18months, but often not till closer to 2.... plus I have also heard it often affects boys more than girls, so very well could be what Liebs is having..... I'm not sure if it's night terrors with Monkey, but a couple of times when its happened she screams more and gets worse when i go in to comfort and pick her up and i've heard that can also happen with night terrors......
Monkey loves to put rubbish in the bin these days too! And she's just learning the concepts of big and heavy this week..... funny how you can see them actually processing and taking in those sorts of concepts over a few days or a week, then they have it! She learnt "high" last week at my Mum's house.
Monkey has now said on 2 occasions "poo" then when i ask if she's done one already she says "no - toilet", like she wants to go do it in the toilet, but once i couldn't get anywhere near a toilet (outside airport with her and trolley full of bags waiting to be picked up!) and the other time she got scared once near the toilet, so we just looked inside it!!!
Enough about her.....time for my news.... I just quit my Sat job today!!!! Will have a long exit to help out my boss, but there is an end in sight.... so soon my mood won't be "stressed"!!!

her temp is been so high today and then normal and sleeping all day (heheeh) but also coughing and snotty and yesterday she had weird spots on her back - she is asleep again now....
and i am off to make hamburger patties as that is what benji said he wanted when i gave him a choice of everything in the entire world coz i am home today coz jem is sick

No, this was just my Sat job (which was in a paediatric private physio/OT practice). I still have my tues/wed job at the hospital and am doing 5hrs/wk (approx) for DH admin work - but that is from home. Still, it means we can have our wkends back properly.
Hope Jem is feeling better, poor possum.... I stupidly got Monkey's chicken pox vax done at 530pm just before we came up to Brissie and of course by 930 that night she had a raging temp and a shocking night - stupid mother - should have remembered risk of temps after vaccines.....

Kym, great news that you can quit one job! Yay for you!
DS only woke up once last night for 15-20 minutes, which was FAB, then up for the day around 6.30ish or later, not sure because he was chatting in bed so I didn't get up for him right away. He's getting a LOT better, it could have been his MMR and then his nappy rash upsetting him. BTW, chemical nappies - fungal infection. NEVER had that with cloth, it was nearly healed when he went back into the disposable ones at his nursery. But it's getting better now and he's in cloth at nursery atm, although it is more work for me taking the nappies in and washing them.
DH is still looking for jobs and we may well be getting him a job then finding us a house, but that's OK. It will still be Yorkshire. I found a great house in Upper Thong last night (not only a great village name but in the Last of the Summer Wine area so gorgeous scenery) but we're not going to get our hopes up just in case we don't get a job near there. He's said I am still to teacher train but then can be a SAHM; we need me to have a back-up career jic he loses his job at some point in the future. That's fine with me. I guess DS won't benefit but future children may - if we have any. But DS will benefit in the long run as we'll be able to do more things with him and I'll be around for the holidays all the time, so I can be a SAHM when he needs me, school holidays, and work while he's at school. Ah, I'm really looking forward to all of this!

lisa are you feeling better??? jemima is heaps better for the first time this arvo she woke up WITHOUT a temp!! woohoo learnt on the second attempt that she spews up panadol... so stuck with neurofen at lunchtime.... i am so glad she is getting better - was a long long day though - at the same time as providing constant cuddles when she woke up i have been helping out with a mailout - i am such a sucker - i cant say no but twenty four bucks an hour to stuff envelopes is not bad and i need the money right now - i got a little tupperexcited.....
what does everyone have planned for fathers day?? what did the bubs get their daddys??
coz jem missed daycare today she didnt get to do any kind of crafty awesome fathers day thing - i got her to make a card but not the same as the awesome feather butterfly i got for mothers day when she first started
am trying to decide weather or not to send jemima to my friends family daycare - it is her godmother who is just starting up - it will mean jem will have heaps more attention during the day and get to play with her friend all day but there are things about my friends parenting that i dont like - but i just dont know how to say no and i would like it kinda - but then i just dont know - i was thinking about trialing one day a week and then if it works go for the two days but then worried i would confuse jemima with the two different places each week......
oh and another for the "she's not a baby anymore" books - i was shaving my legs theother day and she was watching and she reached in and got some shaving cream and put it on her legs - she is going to be wanting to shave by the time she is 2!
sally - thanks for the get well soon message - i think jem got it! how is brendan? do you find your friends with bubs have mainly girls??? i dont know many boy babies jemima's age

Kel, your welcome :) Brendan is good, he goes in on monday to have his tongue-tie fixed. We'll be in the childrens all day for that. I dont have many friends apart from the online ones! But yeah mostly girls... is about time there were more girls than boys!! When I was going to school boys out-numbered girls by far, 1 in every 3 was a girl.
I'll be MIA for a while, DP on 2 weeks holidays and Brendan will be needing all my attention next week.

Father's day - DH was at LeMans so that was his gift! He got a card and a little badge saying "top dad" that he hasn't worn yet :(.
DH's work... he's a mechanical engineer. He's a senior one to boot. He should be paid about 35-40 grand a year but he's currently on 27, which is poor and leads to loads of stress.
:) and DS loves to plug in my epilator... good thing he hasn't learnt how to turn it on yet! That is going to be painful especially as he's nappy-free when he likes to play. Maybe need to hide that now.
Kel, a tupperware question: why do men NEVER "burp" the tupperware? Even after you show them how to? Frustrates me no end! How do you get a reluctant burper to do so?

surely calling it "burping" would make someone do it!!!
tell them magical things happen when you burp the tupperware and it will save you loads of money on food coz the tupperware magic will keep it fresh - guys like to think they are saving money
i guess you girls with baby boys will be happy there are more girls than boys when your boys are looking for love!

Sorry I have been MIA just been away for the weekend but all us have the flu so feeling very crap!
Got an appt with the midwife tomorrow 4 weeks to go!! Erin was 18 months yesterday got to book her in for her next injections but want to wait till she is over a bit of her cold.
NOt much else happening starting to think of all the things I need to buy or organise in the next few weeks, very busy with a hens day this weekend and a wedding weekend after and another 3 partys between now and when bub is due. Keep my mind busy at least.

Selfish post, I only have a few mins...
Brendan had his tongue-tie fixed today, was a success. Went very very well I'm pleased. He's a bit sooky but otherwise normal.
I'm so exhausted, Brendan had to fast from 7am this morning.... op was at 1:15, didn't get in until 1:45.
AF was due today.... but has not arrived, did a HPT and it was BFN. Not giving up hope yet :D

Not much happening here either..... have I mentioned that Monkey has just graduated to sleeping on a mat with the big kids at family day care? So, no more pram lugging in and out of carers house every week - YAY for Monkey!!! Oh and totally unrelated... but she learnt to say "no deal" the other night while we were watching it.... bad mother i know, but it was soooo cute! And the Dorothy obsession doesn't seem to be letting up.... since getting free DVD in sunday paper last week, she "has" to watch it once a day, but ONLY the bits where Dorothy appears.... couldn't give a stuff about the Wiggles really!!! Methinks a Dorothy DVD may be on Santa's list.....
Our kitchen reno looks like its gonna start twd end of Sept rather than now, but no matter, i'm not looking forward to having to plan clever dinners that require minimal cooking (mmmm.... prob lots of takeaway, which i don't really like.....)

although the finished product is awesome it was more than six months of my life i aint ever getting back!!!
jemima used to make the actions before she knew what she was doing when she was REALLY little and we watched deal or no deal especially when we had no kitchen as the highchair used to be in the living room - no tv now means no cute stuff like that! no wiggles (i have one cd but she is not that fussed i dont think) (she was getting into the doors today) she used to get happy to the antiques roadshow tune (i am a big dork i love that show and bargain hunt)
she is heaps better thank goodness , monday a different doc gave her antibiotics and she is bouncing off the walls and only one nap today (after a little sleep in) so that is awesome - it is like she is normal child just with lots of snot and an occasional smokers cough

Just quickly popping in for a brag... he ate STEAK!!!! All cut up into about the size of peas... but at least he ate it!! OMG he's never eaten anything other than minced beef and minced chicken :D SO PROUD!! I can't believe he is showing improvement already!!

Just a real quick one from me again (sorry :))
Harrison had his 18 month check up done yesterday, as they like them to be around 19 months when they get them here.... anyway, I have been told I am to expect Harrison to be a mini man. I kind expected that anyway. He is in the 10% for his height and his weight.
I wonder how tall he will be when he is 2.
Do you all know that old wives tale thing about taking their height when they're 2?
Apparently, if you take their height, and double it, that's how tall they should be when fully grown. James should be 6'3 and Madeleine 6'2, which isn't surprising because their father is 6'6-6'7ish, and their paternal aunt is 6'2, unlike little ole me who is 5'3! lol

i just looked up in my baby health record card thing that my mum has kept all these years and at two years old i was 86cm and now i say i am 174 but i am sure that was with heels.... which means i probably am 172cm!!! too cool

KEL - How are you my love? How's Jem feeling? Loving the new tupperware already used the bowls heaps. How is the tupperware going?Did AF arrive?
Dh is on nightshift so just done all the ironing so going to sit down now and relax for a while. Got a Hen's Day Lunch on Saturday at a winery( Lemon lime and bitters for me!!!) and the wedding is next weekend. Tried a dress on that I bought for a 21st last pregnancy and it looked ok so got that sorted. Had the midwife appt on Tuesday and all looks good and she said bub is head first. Been getting up about 5 times a night to go to the loo . fun fun!!! Really starting to get excited now with less then 4 weeks to go it now feels real!!!

Kristy and Kel, I hope kitchen thing happens quickly too, don't think i'd cope with 6months! And yes, our BBQ has a gas burner on side, so hopefully this warm weather keeps up and we can cook outside. (I am essentially banned from using the real part of the BBQ - DH is one of those guys who is a bit possessive of his BBQ and as a result i don't really even know how to turn it on!!!)
Lisa, thanks for the unintentional reminder that i need to book in Monkey's 18mo check at ECHC - ours only does standard checks at 9 and 18mo, so she hasn't been down there for ages. I'm not really concerned about anything, but would be nice to check her height (i'm sure she's still on the short side too - you have friends Harrison!) and also would like some reassurance that her quite crazy bowel habits are still normal.
Oh and on the height thing - my mum told me that you were supposed to double height at 2yrs for boys, but 18mo for girls, it worked for my bro and i using that formula... (he's 6'3" in a family of shorties - not that height is an indicator of one's ability to avoid becoming a loser......)
And not to say that Madeleine won't be 6'2", but maybe you should check her 18mo height, Lisa???
And Kel, I still can't believe you can live without a telly - you rock - wish i could be that committed!!!
Sally, Monkey still won't eat steak - Brendan is cool! Keep us up to date of all the new talking i'm sure he'll be doing soon!
We have a fairly quiet Sunday tomorrow - yay - hopefully will stay sunny enough to get into the sandpit (well for Monkey anyway, i've recently outgrown sand play!!!)

kristy - yep AF came i had a 48 day cycle! the willy nilly breastfeeding i am doing wont be helping that.. jemima is almost asking for it so i am almost considering weaning her but i like the night time feed so i have to get it back to just night time..... at the moment we are having morning and sometimes mid morning and early evening feeds.... hmmmm
kymmmmmmmmmmmmmy i just read your signature i CANT believe you are 31 you look awesome buddy! and no tv thing - i have not noticed yet... i just get "pangs" when i think that all saints might be on (the repeats or the new ones) and get a bit "jealous" to hear you talk about deal or no deal which was one of my faves and also wonder if i am doing jemima some kind of injustice by not exposing her to the wiggles, the down the garden thing and fairies and playschool and stuff like that - she has all the books and stuff but who knows
i have decided no family daycare - i asked jems current daycare what they thought and they wrote me a letter (the leader was not there when i asked etc) anyway she is lacking in social interaction skills she prefers to play by herself and she does not interact well with other children....... whoops wonder what i have done "wrong" there... will talk to the leader more next week and see what i can do to help....
i am going to try out a playgroup on friday morning - different to mothers group - so that is exciting andhave changed jem's daycare days to tuesday (at the moment a day for me to keep trying to catch up on stuff - kymmmmmy if you saw my study you would understand.... i think the rest of my house was "ok" when you came over) and daycare thursday where i will now be working EVERY thursday afternoon at the opshop (gosh i wish i could get paid for it.... oh well) and i work every couple of saturdays there too... i do love it.... then wednesday is swimming lessons mid morning and monday is just for me and jem to figure out what we want to do and most likely visit someone or maybe i will take her to the shops or stuff....
that was longer than i thought it was
gotta go and get some sleep so i can do more digging tomorrow (i am digging to china)

We renovated our kitchen today and i'm stuffed!!
Brendan had 18m jabs on thursday, and he was fine he screamed becasue he was taken away from the toys!!

Lisa - Sorry to ehar that you have been so sick. I don't know how you can cope looking after Harrison being bedridden for so long. You're amazing. How is your diet going? Are you back on it again now you AF cycle is sorted out?
Sally- Way to Go Brendan on eating steak. That is fantastic. And thank god the TT is a thing of the past. It is going to make a huge difference with his eating and talking now. I hope the operation wasn't too hard on you and didn't bring back too many memories of when he was born etc. I was thinking of you. And kitchen renos as well. You're the third person on Feb BB this year that is getting their kitchen done (kel, Kym and you!!!). Am I missing out on something here?
Kristy - OMG. 1 month to go. That is insane. I hope you don't get too uncomfortable in the last few weeks and get plenty of sleep (3 toilet runs during the night instead of 5).
Kel - I still can't believe you have no TV either. I would not survive. As far as Jem's social interaction. THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO AT THIS AGE. What is with your daycare? Do they not know much about children's development? They are supposed to be totally absorbed in their own little world, not be able to share etc. So don't worry sweets.
Jayne - Where are you. I'm back and now you're gone. I miss hearing about your girls.
Kym - Will have to book you in for some dinners.
Ryn - Ohhh...I love moving to a new house and discovering new places, new parks, coffee shops etc. in walking distance. I hope you find something you really like.
Us - DH gets home in 3 sleeps. I am so excited. He has to go away earlier than we thought though, so it means he is only home for two weeks before leaving again for 7weeks. So much for trying TTC.
Tobi has a few more animal sounds down pat and is so much better with his body parts now. He still wants to stick his finger up my nose though. The other day we were at a neighbours place and he asked where the bub-bie was. So cute that he remembered that a baby lives there (he was upstairs asleep) and ever since he loves babies. My Mum came down this weekend and got him one of those Little People cars, which has a baby in the backseat. He loves it. I am definitely thinking about getting him a doll, maybe not straight away, but when we are having another little one.
I didn't get to my goal weight in time for DH, but if I don't get pregnant this month, then I will go back on my diet in the 7 weeks that he is away again. I am sure that he will be very impressed still. Because I don't fit into any of my clothes anymore I went on a major shopping spree on the weekend. 2 pairs of shoes, 2 belts, 7 tops, 2 dresses and 5 pants. I just want to get another skirt or two and I will be happy. Did I tell you I got a stylist couple weeks ago??? She really pushed accessories, so I know have a big collection of necklaces and bangles too.

My diet was a total flop... I had issues that I think I have sorted out now, so restarting asap. As for looking after Harry when I was sick... my DH took 2 days off work to help out, because I was just so unwell... and the other days I just ran on autopilot... I honestly don't know how I did it. It was scary because there were times that I would totally forget things because I was so sick... like one afternoon, James came in and said hello to me, I asked how his day was etc, and he left me to watch a movie... about 2 hrs later I freaked out that James hadn't come home from school and we hadn't heard from him. Another time I thought about how good it would be to have some vegemite, and my DH went and did some shopping and came home with vegemite... I was impressed that he considered me (he hates vegemite) and read my mind almost... but nope, I had asked him to get me some vegemite right before he left for the shops. As you can imagine, my DH was so worried about me driving etc... the kdis had 2 days off when I was sick because I didn't want to risk driving them. Thankfully it seems that the flu is pretty much gone... I'd say I am 98% better now.
Well... I'm off to bed now. If I get some extra time tomorrow, I will do personals.
