hey Girls, congrats on the needles, no more for 6 months!!
Bun, I got AF back when Z was 11 months, had some spotting when he was 10 months, I'm on the mini pill( have been since my 6 week check up) and now YAY for me have been getting AF every 2 weeks lasting for a week!! I went to the Doc and she said both situations are normal, I was quite scared too! Not having AF while breastfeeding doesn't mean your not ovulating just no bleeding and that is obviously due to hormones and my situation it can take a couple of months to sort out once it returns especially on the minipill. But Sweet if you are concerned go and see your GP to put your mind at rest.
Prama honey, I feel for you I really do, I struggle at the best of times let alone without full time work in the equation (sp) I really hope that things start to look p for you soon my dear...big hugs.
I have two black eyes at the moment Z headbutted me....Feeling like heated up Sh*t!!
My jug blew up...NO morning coffee this morning till midday anyway and Z has been like a toddler possessed. He has been so whingy and whiny the last 2 days, yesterday he climbed on the lounge after repeated NO's and being moved away it looked like he finally was going to give up and then I was at the fridge about 5 mitres from him and in the speed of light he had climbed up there, stood up and fell off!Thank god he was fine!! So now i now have a lounge in my office! Then later on he hit me in the face and I grabbed his hand and said NO and he started screaming, The tantrums are a joke, dinner time is like a circus he turns his head from side to side like those friggin clowns so I can't get any food in...AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!! I'm going NUTS!!! I'm turing into a Mum that I don't want to be, I think we are kinda sick of one another pretty much 3 weeks of just the 2 of us, I need to get out and socialise otherwise I'll end up screaming at him and not you guys LOL!! My gosh I feel like such a bad Mum, i just need a break from him, so I'm thinking about daycare for 1 or 2 days a week too, DH's time away is only going to increase as the year goes on and I'm already struggling now..O Dear!!
Sorry for the selfish post and it being such a downer, I feel like I tell you girls more stuff about my life than my girlsfriends I actually see, So apologies, Have a good night All, Sweet dreams xox

Oh Prama and Sonya, so sorry to hear you girls are doing it tough atm!:hug:
Prama - How are you going today, hun? Hopefully a bit better? Maybe plan something nice just for yourself this weekend, something to look forward to... Maybe come over for a cuppa ;)?
Sonya - Go the daycare option; you need a break from time to time; this mother job is a very taxing one without any time off! How are your eyes? Jasper headbutted me on the nose yesterday (accidental) but luckily no bruising; the have hard heads, haven't day?
Bun - Yay on Catherine sleeping through! You had to wait so long for that! Jasper now wakes up two times a night; hope he will start to sleep through again soon. I got AF back at about 4 months (irregular 4-6 weeks) because he slept through the night from 2-4 months (I am not on the pill). It is starting to be more regular now. We are thinking of a 2.5 to 3 year age gap, so probably TTC next spring. All depends on Jasper's behaviour; I think he and Zane are very much alike! Jasper like to climb the couch too, but can't yet without stepping on something; so far so good. He also likes to grab my glass/mug when I am drinking. A couple of days ago he managed to grab my glass of water which ended up all over the couch, lucky it was only water and not hot coffee. He is also throwing more hissy fits... Ash, you were right; the juggling has started!
Hi to everyone else!!!
-
Sorry to be very quick here. Will be back later for personals if Amber allows me...
Bun- I still dont have AF back either. I have even been doing some HPT just in case. Its 22 months since I have had AF! Some women would kill for that.
Sonya- I know how you feel. I am so over tantrums and screaming. it just frays my nerves. You are doing great without DH home.
Ok my child is screaming about something. Back later

Hi All,
So today is better, Z and I are friends again... we didn't shake on it so I don't know how long It will last, but for the moment things are peaceful, I have converted the back half of my living room into a Zane only section, so there is nothing but his toys and bit's and pieces so everything he could even think about climbing on is now in the office, I was hoping it wouldn't get to this however it has so I delt with it and now I feel much better.
Jen I would kill for that!!! AF is coming every 3 week I have 2 weeks off and then a week of bleeding, and so on I have been charting it and hopefully once Z is weaned I'll just go back on my normal pill and hopefully it will be OK, thats why I'm trying to fast track the weaning, not going so well still 2 BF a day. Oh well, it's not the worst thing in the world. Has the HRT changed anything? Sucks being a woman sometimes.
How is Our fab Prama today?? I hope today has been easier for your sweet, It's like we are both struggling only on the opposite things, I would love time to myself and you would love more time with Poopey, Can't win can we?? Is there anyway that you could work parttime??
Argh Z is calling BBL. xox Good luck to everyone getting their days xoxox

thanks girls!! thanks for all your support. I think the pressure of getting back to work, all the rush rush is bringing my pnd back again.
bun i got af sometime in sept/oct. the last few mths it's been regular. i met a lady who had been bf-ing her 3 kids at hadnt had AF for 5yrs!
esme - has jasper tooth made a show yet? very elusive!!
sounds like the kidlets are doing the same.. poopy's starting hissy fits if i grab something from him. he's going to start climbing things soon too, cant climb the sofa cos it's too high for him.
jj - yup hissy fits here too!!! aarrggghh
sonya - lol am not fab!! i wanted more time to myself but this is the other extreme. i have about 30mins in the morning w him before i dropped him at DC and then abt an hr in the evening when i come back fr work and he goes to bed.. sigh.
sorry to hear abt your eyes.. what is it w this kids and eyes! i had my eye scratched and now yours headbutted!
we have partitioned our lounge room to his play area. at least i can leave him there and go do things around the house.
i;ve started yoga again so that's helping me relax too.
oh, im so annoyed today.. i went to the early childhood clinic and our fav nurse wasnt there and some other woman has taken over. met her once and didnt like her. now i think she's there full time on thursdays. she actually lost lakshman's file!! and then measured his head circumference less that the last 2 nurses before! and then kept saying THEY were wrong and scared me into thinking something's wrong with poopy. poopy was also having a bikkie when we got called in and he was restless. so i let him crawl on the floor and got crumbs on the carpet. and she made a remake like you made my carpet all dirty, i got it cleaned the other day. i picked up all teh crumbs and she didnt even say thank you or anything. im going to see the other nurse on monday (dont care if i have to take the day off) whom we know very well since we started going there and complain to her. the actual nurse on thurs was not been well so there have been other nurses filling in. the actual thurs and monday nurse we know really well.
aarrgghhh.
gotta go.. just remembered have to do some stuff!! so brainless sometimes!
-
No tooth yet, but I can see at least three of the top ones under the gum quite clearly, they weren't there before. He doesn't let me look or feel in his mouth, so I don't have a clue what the bottom ones are up to.
-
Prama, I think your Fabulous I think we all are!!!! Motherhood is the most challenging job and yet it is the least recognised, 3 cheers for us I say! And once I stop BF I'm even going to drink to that....Alot!!! LOL!!
That nurse sounds like an utter biatch!! If she's not immune to a few crumbs she is in the wrong job, god what did she expect? I hate dealing with people like that, makes the whole experience even worse. Hope you get the "good" nurse back soon Prama and also that they find Poopeys file.
I'm hearing you on elusive teeth, I officially hate teething as much as Z I think!!
Esme, Jasper sounds like Z in that they are little Kamakazie kids, Try standing up and holding him facing you and tipping him backwards, Z thinks it's hilarious and laughs really wide mouthed and it gives us a chance to see whats going on in his mouth?? Just a thought!
Anyhow lovlies Thats it from me today I think need to get baths and dinner sorted, nearly Z bedtime..Sonya Time fast approaching...YAY!!!! xox

Hi ladies,
A is in bed. HOORAY! This evening she thought it was hilarious to bite me during feeding time. Of course she got a reaction from me every time she did it, it HURT! So I put her to bed. She then screamed so I gave her one last chance for her feed. There is silence coming from her room so fingers crossed.
Esme- I wish poor Jasper's teeth would just cut at once. Then hopefully he can go back to sleeping well and letting you sleep well. Amb would let us see in her mouth either.
Sue- Your latest pics on FB are great. Your little ones look so happy to be going to school, kinder etc. I sure can wait to do the school run juggling.
Prama- If only we all had that money tree growing out the back. We all could then not have to worry about work, money etc and then get to see our little ones grow. Saying that, a couple days a week would be good for US time. I hope you get your good nurse back too. They shouldnt be there to make us feel bad. They only have to look at poopy to see he has a great set of parents raising him.
Sonya- Do you have a good story to tell about your shiners? Or do you get to say your 12 month old beat you up! I reckon when we give up b/f we will be shouts at the bar.... One pot screamers. Have you tried your Wii fit yet? We love ours. I am into the running at the moment.
Ok thats enough from me. I have been running on the spot for the Wii fit and are all sweaty. And I just hear the dulcet tones of my child telling me she doesnt want to be in bed.....
-
Hi guys,
Jen - glad to hear I am not the only one with no AF! I know that I should feel lucky, I just didn't think it would take this long! I should also do the odd HPT just to check but we are being sooo careful, so hopefully that isn't the reason for no AF! Catherine bit me the other night when I was feeding her too. She made me cry and jump which then frightened her and she started screaming. All I could think was that I should be the one screaming, I am the one who just got bitten on the boobie! Little terrors sometimes....
We have catherine's party on Monday and I am really looking forward to it! I am going toi make heaps of junk food (probably more for me than the kids!).
prama - how are you going sweetie?
sonya - don't apologise! We all understand what it's like being a mummy and we are here for you to vent to! DD has become a shocking tanty thrower already, she throws her head back and gets her whole body into it sometimes. And all it takes is for me to say no to get a full on tanty happening! How are the black eyes? DD seems to like bashing my nose, I swear she is going to break it one day!
Thanks everyone for sharing re AF. i suppose it will come back one day and then I will be whinging because I don't want it back!!
Gotta go, DH needs a lift. have a great weekend everyone :)

Hi girls,
Sorry not been around lately - life is going so fast with a new toddler and an experienced toddler!!!
Amelie turned 1 yr old yesterday and it feels like my baby has gone and been replaced with a toddler with attitude!!
But it is just gorgeous now the fun the 2 girls have together (generally).
Will look through the postings to see what you're all up to as it's been a while.
Hope you & your little ones are all well.

Hi all,
Selfish post here... Teething still causing trouble. Poor bubba developed a fever yesterday arvo which got up to 38.8 by bedtime. He woke up every 20 minutes and just layed there moaning. After some panadol and some teething gel he finally fell asleep on me only to wake up after one sleep cycle screaming and rubbing his gums :(. Lucky he fell asleep reasonably quick again and I transferred him to his cot where he slept the rest of the night. It looks like all four top teeth are coming through (thanks for the trick, Sonya!). Still can't see/feel the bottom ones.
Bun - Enjoy your party!!!
Roya - Belated happy birthday for Amelie! Nice that the girls play well together; a bit of 'me' time for you?
Jen - Ouch on Amber biting you; so not looking forward to that... They are really starting to test us/push boundaries, aren't they?
Sonya - Thanks for the tip! At least I could have a quick look in his mouth. I hear you on the 'lots of drinks' when finished breastfeeding. Can't wait to do the same. We might all have to catch up around that time and go for drinks together ;)!
Prama - It sounds like you got a little escape artist on your hands!
Hi to everyone else!

Hi Girls,
O I've missed you all! Glad to hear the trick worked Esme, they can be very clever our little men sometimes so I say whatever works do it!!4 pegs thats quite an achievement little Jasper, Will def have drinks with you once we are all BF free we should organise a weekend to all meet up and have girls weekend/night away!!
RoyaUK - Another Belated happy birthday for Amelie! Look forward to getting to know you a bit better.
DH home so i've had a little bit better weekend but Z is still a devil reincarnate ATM. I'm taking him to the Dr's tomorrow just for a check over, this last week he has been chucking the biggest Tantrums and 80% of the time he is just soooo whingey and Whiny, I'm at a complete loss as to what to do. Plus my paitence and tolerence levels have dropped dramatically. I'm ashamed to say this but I cannot even count the number of times I just had to put him in his cot and walk away for a couple of minutes last week. Z woke at 12 and didn't matter what DH or I did he wouldn't settle, finally at 1/4 to 3 he went to sleep and stayed that way. He's woken up this morning with a little bit of a runny nose so maybe that was it. Who knows??
So in the wee hours of this morning I was a blubbering mess, I think I just need a break from him, it feels like he's wearing me down. I know it's a bit of a tender subject but if anyone has had or has PND and wouldn't mind sharing with me....Does it sound like your expereience with PND or maybe just a reaction to DH's away time?? I'll talk to the Dr tomorrow and see what she thinks.
So sorry for the selfish post that's all I seem to be doing lately, you guys are going to get sick of me..Argh..so sorry!
Sue I have been a slacker with the wlking sorry, will try and get my butt in gear this week.
Hope you are all well and having a great start to the week.
-
sonay - quick one as my day today has become a major mess. will write more later.
yes i have pnd, and been struggling for a while.. am on meds, and i think it's gotten worse since going back to work and even more so w that awful nurse...
if you wanna chat, im on gmail..

Sonya - I feel like that sometimes . Do you get any time to yourself at all? I find it makes a huge difference if I get a couple of hours each week to spend on me. I usually go for a coffee and buy myself a magazine to read without any interruptions; this really energises me for the week ahead. If I don't have this 'me' time, I feel pretty close to being depressed too. I also have to make sure I get out of the house at least once a day too, even if it is just a walk around the backyard. Maybe you can look into putting Zane in daycare for half a day a week? Just to give you a break and some time to yourself. Don't feel bad about it; Zane will benefit from you feeling better! And, once again, don't worry about talking about all this; it is important and we will be here for you .
Prama - Same for you . Sending you lots of positive vibes! Hope your day gets better soon.

Thanks guys, I just feel like sometimes I'm fighting a loosing battle....with myself!! I've decided to enroll Z in swimming lessons and also have arranged with another Mum in my street to take the kids to the park on Thursday for a picnic lunch. I really need to sit DH down and tell him exactly what I think I need and go from there...I think? I'm not saying I'm happy about this but I now at least don't feel like an absolute failure mum if it's not just me. Prama ...sorry having a blonde moment what's Gmail?? You girls are the best!! Big THANKYOU hugs to you xox

Morning lovelies,
Z is sick....guess that explains why he has been so miserable. Off to the doctors today so hopefully she can prescibe some infant dimeatab, his little nose is like at tap, Have had the vaporiser going, panadol but no better today. poor little tike.
Sat down and had a big talk with DH last night and he agreed that I need to do something for myself without them even if it is like you said Esme just grabbing a coffee and a mag and chilling out for an hour then great, it would be more than I have now.:D
So how did everyone fair last night....Better I hope....
