Vanuatu! Now that sounds like a proper holiday to me!! Enjoy the planning! Hope everything goes alright with the needles, same for Lakshman. We just booked in for Monday. Can't wait to have that out of the way.
Jasper woke about four times last night, so didn't get much sleep. I am pretty sure he is teething, hopefully the tooth (teeth?) will break through soon. I can't see much, as he doesn't like me putting my finger in his mouth, so will just have to wait and see. I gave him some SM33 and a couple of teething tabs a little later, and he is sound asleep now. Spoke too soon, he still does his half hourly cry-moan-in-his-sleep... Poor bub...

Esme, Zane was up heaps last night too, poor boys these teeth things...who needs em hey, they have been gumming this far, it's sooo overrated.lol. They have to come through eventually hun, The molars for Z are so far the worst it's like are teasing him and just won't come through.

Not long now and Ad is home, my god the time is dragging, 3 more sleeps, Yay. I have decided to get my pedometre back out of it's dusty hidey hole and start walking again, so far today I'm up to 1756 steps, anyone interested in doing it with me? I'm soo unfit it's a joke. My best friend who lives in NZ is coming over in April to live Yay! and she is doing a fitness detox thingy she has lost 4 kilos all I could think was "thankgod it will be getting cooler when she gets here....layers of clothing will hide my summer sins" LOL.

sonya - you certainly don't look unfit! I have just been having a look at the gorgeous pics you have on FB and you look fab! I have been feeling really fat and unfit lately; it is really starting to bother me so I am going to go on a fitness spree, join the gym and start running. I am still 5kg heavier than before Catherine and it is about time I lost it! I think now that I have a 1 year old I probably can't continue with the 'I just had a baby therefore have put on some weight' excuse!
esme - I hope Jasper's teeth come through soon if that is the trouble. Poor little thing. That new pic of him really is irresistible.
I hope all those bubs having needles soon go ok. Catherine still has little marks on her arms and her thigh where the needles went in, but she seems fine now.
We have just bought a house here and are very happy. It is beautiful and in a lovely quiet area with a big backyard, very kid friendly with a big sheltered deck outside. We are so happy to have our own place here, we move in a couple of months.

BBT, sorry for the birthdays I missed. Cards will go in the mail tomorrow. MIL has had a stroke and I am a bit stressed out.
I miss the old me pre-PND that came in to chat regularly.

Karlie - Hope you and Jake are feeling a little better today! Jasper started to get a runny nose yesterday and was screaming at bedtime. Gave him a dose of panadol and luckily he settled and slept ok. His gums are very lumpy too, do runny noses go with teething? Or is it more likely to be a cold? Hear you on the goobers; they are just everywhere!
Prama - :hug:, will it help a little if you think of the nice valentine's day pressie he (they) got you? Or am I just making it worse? The only time i get away from Jasper is every sat morning when I get to go out for a coffee by myself, I really enjoy that, but i can't wait to get home to my boyz! Hope our little ones cut their teeth soon. We had a reasonable night, but he didn't go to sleep until 8.30 after a dose of panadol, not sure anymore if it is teeth or a cold...
Bun - Congrats on buying your own place!!! Nothing better than a big safe kidfriendly backyard!
Sonya - Good on you for trying to get fit again! I have succesfully tried to avoid that so far, but I might have to change that soon. It probably won't be too long before Jasper starts to walk and I have to make sure I can keep up with him!

Sonya -- I'll join you on the get fit/ steps! I have a pedometer just haven't used it for a while. I have lost 4kg in the last month on Kate Morgan and would like to lose another 6kg if I can. Then I will be back to the weight i was when we got married.
How long till DH is home now???
Kato -- it just keeps getting busier doesn't it. Birthdays family stuff I hear ya!
Bun -- big congrats on finding your new house. You will have to show us some pics when you move in YAY!!
Esme -- runny noses do go hand in hand with teething. Also loose nappies and the occaisional temp. Sophies molars are coming through and her gums are so lumpy. I think she may have trouble with zambuca when she is older she just loves bonjela!! He he. Hope Jaspers pop through soon.
Our holiday isn't until next march and the couples we are going away with we have been friends with for around 15yrs. We have been planning this since 1999!!! My MIL has said she will have all 3 kids for the week so we are set!! I just feel guilty thinking of leaving them for a week and spending money on just DH and I. Anyway I keep looking at the brochure and now I can't wait. I am sure i will have at least one ****tail for everyone he he

OK so DH is home tomorrow, He has a lunch BBQ that the families of the hierarchy in the company have been requested to attend so Z and I have been asked to go which we will, I think Adam is excited about showing his little man off.
Z has been going good, teeth are a no show but he is alot better, and is actually sleeping well at night. I still can't get him to eat fruit and he took 10 steps yesterday so it is getting more and more by the day, my little man will be walking soon, not sure if I'm excited about that or not. Cupboard and draw locks went on yesterday, I thought he might be Ok up until now he showed no interest but no such luck.
I did a face mask yesterday and it obviously didn't agree with me....my face turned bright red it's a little better today, god I hope it is gone by tomrrow..yeah I know laugh it up...I should know by now not to try new things before something I actually want to look good for.

Ok so DH is back today & I'm soooooooooo excited I even painted my nails and did a spray tan, don't ask me why because he's seen me at my worse and still thought I looked great...but I feel like I look better when browner (No I don't wish to disclose the amount of lammington fingers I ate while he was away)..moving right along & the redness is gone from my face thank god!!!
My Wii Fit came yesterday....I'm so excited but Ithought I'd let DH open it so it's still waiting.
I spoke to soon Z had a horrific night last night, from about 9.30 onwards till 1/4 to 12ish he was really unsettled, when he first woke up I changed him gave him some water and some teething gel and put him back to bed, he went to sleep for about 1/2 hour then woke, so panadol and then went back to sleep , but he was doing that cry in his sleep thing, poor baby.
Sooooo anyhow, I have oodles to do this morning so I may not be back, so in the event that I'm not hope all you lovely mummas and bubbas have an awesome day today and hopefully I'll catch up with you over the weekend end. xox

been flat out and poopy's been quite sick. lots of phlegm in his chest and bad cough. he got some anti-biotics yest. i took him to dc and tehy said he needs to have had 48hrs of ABs before he can come back. lucky my mum's still around so i left him w her. and thank god dc just up the road fr home.
poor darling, he coughs and cries in his sleep adn is so miserable.

Sonya - Yay on DH coming home!!! Better hide (or eat :)) the lamington fingers! Poor Zane (and you)... teething is horrible... You are right; teeth are overrated; he chews almost everything without them anyway. Glad to hear the redness on your face is gone;aA bit scary when that happens.
Jasper slept reasonably well, but woke up screaming at 5am. He did settle down, but not sure if he actually went back to sleep. I can see the teeth in his top gum, but they don't seem to be too close to breaking through. Hopefully it won't be too long. Poor bub hates going to sleep now, most of the time I have to go back in to settle him, whereas before he would self settle. Wouldn't it be good if all teeth come through at the same time and they only have to go through it once?
Oh Prama; poor poopy!!! Hopefully the AB kick in soon so he will feel a bit better!
It sounds like some of you are having a pretty rough time at the moment with teething, sick bubs and family and work etc. :hug: to you all.
Sonya - yay, you must be so happy to have DH home! We can't wait to move into our new house. We are renting out our place in Perth which we built and spent years getting just the way we wanted it, only to then move! There are a few things we want to do to the new place but nothing that needs to be done anytime soon. Now we just have to wait a couple of months to move in! I'm glad to hear your face isn't red anymore - I had a reaction like that once too, ouch!
esme - I hope the teeth cut through soon, poor little Jasper.
prama - poor little poopy. I hope he gets better real soon.
Ash - how is your MIL? You poor thing, you and your family have been through so much lately. Do they know how bad it was?
Sue - that holiday sounds like just what you need. Don't feel guilty, we all need time away from our kids to re-charge and you have waited a long time for this one! Good on you for losing so much weight, what a fantastic effort. I need to lose a few kgs but there is very little chance I will ever get back to the weight I was when we were married - too much work to do!

I have been feeling a little down lately but I don't know why. I think maybe it's time to start looking for some PT work here so I have started looking at day care centres. It's really hard because we have just moved here - do I look for a job first or a day care centre first? All the day cares have a waiting list and don't know how long it will take to get a spot. Plus, if I do find a job, I don't know which days I will be working! And I know I will also feel soooo guilty leaving her at daycare at first. I know she will probably be fine and it will be good for her to play around other kids more often, but I suffer from terrible mother guilt!
What activities do you guys do with your kiddies during the day? I am starting to feel like DD is getting bored hanging around with me all the time but I am not sure what to do. I feel she is a little young for things like playdough but you can only play with the same old baby toys for so long until you start getting desperately bored!

Bun -- when DS1 was this age I used to go for walks to the playground, play outside if weather allowed, go out for lunch even if its a picnic. It is hard finding things to do with a little one do you have a swing?? My boys loved the swing, and loved being in the laundry basket going up and down the corridor for rides. ( no wonder my back is sore!) Wish we lived a bit closer and we could have a playdate!
I am working this afternoon from 4pm till 10pm sometimes I wish I didn't work but it also allows me to be me and a grown up for a while ;) and it gives me a break. Hope things work out for you. Have a good weekend
OK have to go need lunch then we have the kinder run then 2hrs later the pickup from kinder and school YAY.
