Congratulations Tascha! That's exciting news for your family :)
Maz, I often feel the same hun.
Wonder how many others from this thread will go again??? Anyone? Anyone else???
Update on Celeste: She finally started walking at 15months and took off like a rocket full time walking within days. Her language skills are out of this world (if I do say so myself hahaha proud mother) and I counted around 20 words and signs (baby sign language) the other day. She is still tiny and I am supposed to get her weight assessed now but Im just going to wait for the 18month checkups. Last time she was 25% For height and only 5% for weight. I fear it may have dropped with all her teething. She has just cut her 11th tooth with her canines coming before the 4molars which are all moving now too so I hope the teething will be finished till the 2yr olds soon. She is embracing the tantrum stage and only yesterday has begun stamping her feet and the special cry that comes with a toddler tantrum. Mostly though she is a delight and the light in my life. I'm just loving my time at home with her.
Anyone else care to share an update?
Wow on the talking SArah. I have to say I think its a girl thing. Vy was exactly the same and really does my head in some days lol. I think to much hype is put on babies with their weight ect.....is she happy? I bet my bottom dollar she is lloka t how much she is thriving so quiet obviously hon your doing great things for her. bugger them all.
Mateauz has turned into a BOY!!!! He doesnt talk much bar mum. dad. ta. go and NO. He is verbal with sounds more just not actual words. His form of affection to me is to come up and head butt, pinch, slap to scream high pitched at me...he gave me a black eye not long ago lol. The pyhsio said that CP kids tend to be quiet physically strong YAY lucky me. We have noticed he is very bow legged and have noticed that his left hip is not as mature as his right one but hey he walks, climbs and OMG he dances....loves dancing.
We bought him a mega sketch cause he loves to draw (my walls, my diary, my face one day )
His favourite movie is Happy feet. He eats like a horse and for a kid that was ment to stay small he sure has proven that wrong..he weighs 14kg and is in size 2 :o. He is very nosie and loves to see how things work....extremly social and will chat and check out new talent ;)
Only thing that worries me is that he picks up colds ect very quickly. He once again has a runny nose and temp after playgroup on tuesday. I dont believe in taking my kids to the doctors every time they get sick so we ride it out with panadol and lots of cuddles.
Ive tried and tried to get Mateauz into his bed..but no he doesnt want a bar of it so he is still in his cot.
And now he is chasing the cat...poor guy has been body slammed and had his ears, tail and what ever else Mateauz can get his hands on pulled.
Hope eveyrone is well and that their babies..opsie toddlers are going great guns
Congratulations Tasch!!! So good to hear that, we shall chat soon anyway!
Updates- Adeline is doing beautifully- another big chatterbox here- must be the girl thing! Says loads of words well, tries to say almost every word we say (which is so cute!). She walked at 12 months and hasnt looked back. Weighs a touch off 12 kg on the home scales. I started back at work 2 days a week, and she took a long time to adapt to daycare, but is doing much better now. (though still prefers Mums company) We seem to be the last of the breastfeeders. Still going- she loves it and doesnt give any indication of stopping. I personally sway between wanting to stop and wanting to keep going as long as she wants!
She is a huge Mums girl but also pretty confident and loves interacting with other kids. Her favourite things are books and she has just discovered In the night Garden on telly!
No second bub here yet. Not trying yet- not clucky again yet! Wont leave it too long though.
Hugs to all!:)
CONGRATULATIONS TASCHA!!! How exciting for you & DH and Joshy is going to be a big brother!
How have you been feeling? Any morning sickness yet?
BBL all, at work xoxo
Just wondering how everyone is going with their 18month olds?
How are the health checks and immunisations going? Hope there are not too many sad and sorry toddlers out there this month. Thankfully this is the last one till 4years for most of them. :)
Celeste is going for her health check on thursday and I'm a bit apprehensive. She has lost weight with having had a cold and the flu back to back and teething. Only 3teeth to go and 2 are close now (mind you, they have been 3months coming already!). I am asking for a referral to a paed because of suspected Raynaud's disease. I have been worried by her constantly cold and often blue/grey and occasionally white hands, going bright red when warming. She had it last winter too but I was constantly told "babies DO have cold hands and feet".
DH said recently, "Just think, she will be starting school in 3.5years" Crikey!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TASCHA! How exciting. :)
Hi all! Long time, no write in here. I shall try and keep up!
Love to all from Billy B and me.
x
Wow, it is quiet in here. I remember when we were pg and we'd use up a whole thread in a day. LOL
Hope everyone's doing great.

Hi Kate!
We are going great here :) Hello Billy :hello:
Celeste had a good health check. Language is fantastic. Weight is not so good but not scary. Walking, movement etc is ok. She still only weighs 8.77kg!!! I'm loading her with kilojouls again.
We are going tothe circus on wednesday night and I'm so excited! Have yet to take her tothe zoo but she has seen farm animals already. Wonder how she will react to a REAL lion????
Take care all!
Just popping in to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all our "babies" this month. Not really babies anymore are they?
How is everyone going now? I just cant believe how far these little people have come in 2years. It's a strange feeling: on the one hand it feels like I've loved Celeste my whole life but on the other hand I can't believe it's been 2 whole years since she was born. Strange.
What is everyone up to now? How many new siblings are there now?
I am back at work part time which I didnt plan but do enjoy. Celeste is thriving developmentally but is still very small (Not even on the chart anymore for weight). Life is busy and a lot of fun but the 2yr old tantrums are trying at times!!!
Ripley is going great guns. He's suddenly turned into quite the talker now he has turned two. Before it was just mumbling lol He loves trains; his brothers and dancing. He's a bruiser of a kid - 15.5kg and nearly 90cm tall at last check. Having a few issues with cheeky behaviour but comes with the two territory I guess. Not like I havent been there before right
Big brother has the chicken pox atm so we are waiting to see if Ripley and Stellan get it. I really hope not, Jett is being painful enough with the whinging and acting like he's dying (nice to know manflu starts young eh  ).
I cant believe they are all two this month. More because that means they are that much closer to 3 - and that means my ds1 is 4 in 8mths and ds3 is 1 in 2mths :(
We see the pead next month.....I cant wait to see what he say's about M. He is such a funny boy, doesnt talk much at all (not with 3 other sibblings doing it for him) but OMG he can scream, shout, yell and laugh loud. He call's me all day....follow's me everywere and wants me to hug him and pick him up all the time....I get loads of kisses too :D
He has just discovered waving and clapping...and he loves to dance. He's a lug...16kg and god know's he's height. size 3 clothing in most tings and size 8-9 feet :o bigger then V.
We love to draw....on paper...on cupbaords.....on windows and walls....just about ANYWERE!!!!! Santa ;) bought him a bike that he loves to death. little 3 wheeler huffy that he put's his stack hat on for pushes himself half way down the drive (its on a slight lean) and charges for the gates full speed while laughing.
He chat's to anyone, points a everything, loves bikes and motorbikes, body slams the poor cat, eats the cats food, is so far off toilet training its not funny, I found lego in his nappy a few weeks ago, not to mention metal balls (dont ask)..loves swimming in the pool and being the naughty one out of all 4 kids.
Not bad for a kid that was ment to be a vegetable hey
I have to say...I know we dont get in here much and that I dont get to chat much with you all but seeing how much all your babies have grown into these beuatiful little people makes my heart sing. Its wonderful to see how gorgeous, happy and loved our kids are.
Thank you all for sharing their lives with us...I feel priviledged in doing so.
Maz - M is just gorgeous you know! Apart from my own boys I think he is the most beautiful kid I have ever seen! Then again V & the other boys are gorgeous too so its obviously genetic ;)
Hey everyone!
Sazz - Celeste is such a gorgeous kid. I know what you mean about it seeming like they have been here forever but two years going so fast. It's amazing how much children enrich your lives isn't it? I'm hearing you on the tanties but it comes with the territory....that's what I keep reminding myself anyway!
Maz - M has come so far and he really is a gorgeous boy like Anna said. And it's all thanks to you and your wonderful family. That is hilarious about finding lego in his nappy. CLASSIC! I can't wait to hear what the paed says either ;) M sounds like he's going to be tall with those big feet!
Anna - So nice to hear from you! Amy has been the same since she turned two as well! Lots of new words and sentences every day when two weeks ago she was getting about one new word a week! I hope your other two beautiful boys don't get the chicken pox. Ick. Poor Ripley. LOL at manflu!
As for us, Amy is now 14kg and 90cm tall. I measured her the other day seeing as she hadn't had it done since her needles. I think she's going to be tall. She's lost a lot of the chub that she used to have and has turned into a little girl now but she's still solid. She was fully toilet trained, day and night, at 22 months which is lovely! I only have to change one lot of nappies now. It's fantastic! Her speech was a little slow to start but in the last two weeks it's like a switch has been flicked and she's started saying 4-5 word sentences! Amazing seeing as two weeks ago, we were lucky to get one word out of her. Amy LOVES her little sister. Hard to believe that Skye is going to be 1 in two months. Time is flying. They do have little spats now that Skye is crawling, cruising and standing though because she follows Amy around like a shadow and wants to be doing everything that Amy is doing. It's a challenge when Skye can't do half the stuff like drawing with crayons etc. We got rid of the dummy a week ago which wasn't as much of a drama as I expected it to be. It was our last connection to her being a baby really, which didn't make me sad like I thought, it actually excited me. we have some pretty awesome tantrums here but I find that having two kids makes it so I don't focus so much on Amy's tantrums mainly because I can't all the time, so a lot of it gets ignored which means that it doesn't last that long. We do give smacks and time out in the bedroom though when it becomes ridiculous or she does something particularly naughty like throwing a toy at Skye's head or running away from me when I'm trying to get both of them into the car. All in all though, I'm LOVING this age!
Happy birthday to all you beautiful little children. I am loving sharing this journey with you all and your lovely mummies.
xxxx Love Nik
