Well it's 2 for us and that's it apparently. Neil keeps saying he's getting the snip as soon as this one is born. I'm of 2 minds. I'll be happy with 2... but I know me. If we have another girl I'd like to try that one last time for a boy. I guess time will tell.

Busy here... Neil's mate is down from WA so we've been entertaining him. We went out for dinner in Hamilton tonight (Gab had a great time!) and we're off to Halls Gap tomorrow for lunch.

Fi - glad you got your nappies. No worries about the contribution (albeit small). Better than buying you something you already have multiples of, hey? Hope you have a good time with your Mum.

Trish - it's good that Mark is at least open to the possibility of another child. Perhaps it takes time to know whether or not you've had enough to feel fulfilled? Sorry about your headache too. Ick... headaches suck!

Simone - I've gotta check out your update to your punching bag. Doesn't sound good.

Bec - glad your Mum is in hospital but I'm so sorry you've all been so crook. A few people i know have had gastro leading up to Chrissy. Hardly seems fair!

Tanya - woo hoo for broadband! Welcome back matey. I've missed your posts!

Melanie - ouchies @ Jack's leg. Glad it's nothing serious tho.

Dee - sounds like it's time for MIL to go home. Nothing like what she's doing to throw your routine out of whack, hey?

My house is out of whack... total pig sty. I need a day to get unpacked. I've put a heap of Gabby's old toys in the spare room. I want to buy a few big plastic crates to store them in (sort them out etc.). She's got all her new toys in her room and has been having a blast playing with them. She got SOOOOO much stuff. I took a photo of all her presents so I'll pop that on her website (aswell as other Chrissy photos).

Christmas day went well. We had to wake Gab to do the present thing. She wasn't all that fussed on opening presents (loved the ribbon more!) but she just loved her talking kitchen. It was very hard to get her to open other presents after that.
I ended up running super late so it was a mad dash to Geelong. We got there about 11:30am (meant to be there by 11am). We opened presents and Gab hated it! She wasn't interested in the presents at all and just moaned and complained. Mum kept feeding her chocolate sultanas so she wasn't interested in lunch when it finally rocked around. We didn't get any really nice photos of her in her special Christmas outfit. She's still not 100% after the croup. All the attention and fuss just made her grumpy.
She was pretty much the same on boxing day when we went to Dad's to do the Christmas thing. I woke up with a headache that morning so I struggled to get ready on time. We got there and everyone was all over us, passing us presents etc. Gabby was overwhelmed and I was trying not to vomit. I ended up having to run outside a couple of times because I thought breakfast was going to come up. They all smoke like chimneys so that didn't help. We got sooo spoilt with lovely presents but I felt so rude because I felt so crook. I ended up just sitting outside for a while. I ate a jubey lolly and started to feel better (than goodness!) so I was able to go back in and open the rest of Gabby's presents.
Gab sooked all through lunch and was just generally a pain in the bum. She did love going on the new trampoline my neice got tho. It's one of the round ones with the enclosure? She had a fabbo time bouncing around with the bigger kids. She threw up from all the jiggling (my neice was funny... she started gagging and saying she was allergic to the vomit... crack up!). I cleaned it up but Gab didn't want to get off. She was on there for a good 20 minutes before she'd had enough. SO want to get one for her birthday!! LOL
One plus... that night she slept brilliantly for the first night in a while. Not a peep out of her! I tell you, I needed it! She's been sleeping great ever since. She must be coming out the other end of it (finally!). She's still snotty and still has a slight cough. She's also more sooky and easily annoyed but I think she's glad to be home. Hopefully a little routine will help. She ate veges for dinner tonight... so thrilled about that! She's eaten so much crap over the last few days! Urrgh!
