Hi all

Just a quick note as im off to blacktown to get some things.

Anastasia thats cool about the cradle cap. I bath Liam in QV oil (best stuff ever and did with Callum) and I rub in olive oil but I dont rinse it off. Was told to leave it so I do but its cool what your doing. I only use a little but I do his whole body. Love the feel of it too.

Kell hun I dont know what they will do. I was hoping some one could tell me. Yes ask your g/f and let me know. How big does it stick out. Liams is abit and you can push it back in. Alot of babies get it after birth. It sux big time..:( Ill show you at the meet up

Kristy - sorry you didn't have a good day with the photographer - I would imagine it would be very difficult to get three babies to smile at the same time!!!! DS only smiles for the camera if he is trying to grab at it at the same time :) I hope the twins start sleeping through for you soon - fingers crossed!!! Great news about the weight loss - woohoo - way to go!!!!!! I haven't started my diet yet - although I REALLY need to.... but since my laptop has died, I've lost my diet plan - and have to make up another one.. arghhh... took me ages to get that one figured out...

Anastasia - I'll try to get my diet plan from someone on BB that I know I sent it to... otherwise I'll have to make another one up and send it to you. Oh and we used a paste of olive oil and bi carb on DS when his cradle cap was bad. It worked a treat, but we never kept up with it - got too busy!!! Lucky his hair is long now and covers it...lol

Kel - I told DH I wanted to start using Infacol, and he's like, why the colic relief stuff is working - so unless she starts screaming again, I don't think I'll get my way with that one!!! But hooray for the long sleeps - you have a little star there!! Wish I had the same in this house... DS has been moaning at night too - I think his 2 year molars are seriously hurting him - he says "owie" during the day and says "mouth" when I ask what is hurting him, so I think they are on their way... bugger!!!!! boohoo for your AF arriving too - haven't got mine yet... good luck for bubs appointment today too - and I'm soooo jealous about those sleeps still.... not fair.. ;)

Feeb - I'm glad Jacob was good for his needles - its awful when they scream blue bloody murder for them!!! Panadol beforehand is what we do in this house too. Thats a great weight gain too - hooray!!!

Pixie - I hope Beth's cold has cleared up a bit and she is breathing a bit more easy - have you got a vaporisor? I've found that helps clear them out heaps during nap time and night sleeps..

Mez - yay for your DH coming home today - woohoo!!!!! Hang in there with Izzy's sleeping habits - it won't last forever, soon she will be sleeping through the night and you will let all this be a distant memory (until you have another one and THEN you will be like.. ahhh.. crap... I remember!!!) :)

Missy - Aricyn's belly button sticks out too - he was checked for a hernia ages ago, but nothing came of it. I hope they decide its nothing too serious!!! Did you try the Dimetapp?

Tenny - you will have to come up here and meet up with me and Tan :) I'm sorry you are feeling down - we are here for you if you need to vent, cry, biatch, moan, complain - whatever - you know we love you!!! :hug: What a great routine your bub is in - fantastic!!!!! I hope you shake that cold soon too.

Zee - that is a FANTASTIC weight gain - you must be very proud of yourself - :clap: Dontcha hate it when bubs will sleep for someone else but will not close their eyes when you are holding them.. grrr.. frustrating!!!!!

Tan - I have an exercise bike too - its great - burns more calories than going on the treadmill too ;) And woohoo for Chris taking a shower with Ash - Maybe he doesn't need a mellie slappin after all ;)


Well DD is stirring in her rocker - just looked down - eyes are WIDE open.. ahh well, there goes my peace for now - can't complain, I have showered and eaten breakfast and typed this huge post.... so she is pretty good. Last night wasn't the best night though - finally got to bed around 11.30ish (had been trying to feed her since 10.30 but she was wayyy too sleepy to suck) and then she woke at 1am wanting a feed, got back to bed at 2, she woke up at 5... I said to Craig, stuff this I'm too tired.. lol... so I grabbed her out of the bassinette and chucked her in bed with us, and she went back to sleep!!! the little devil... then Craig got up at 6.20, jumped in the shower, and I got Aricyn up to get ready to go to daycare... so she woke up around 6.30 for a bottle - the little tricker.. I should try that every morning!!!! LOL

I was supposed to be going to a get together at a fellow BB member's house today. Car is coming up with a warning light on the dash so Craig has to take it in to get checked out - just in case its something serious!!!!! So horribly disappointed that I'm stuck inside the house for yet another rainy day!!!!!!

Ahh well... may as well clean the house I guess...

Well another rainy day here, and the Bear and Beth are still really snotty. I am getting better slowly, so hopefully they will soon too.
I can't believe how good Beth has been with this cold. it's a really filthy one, I have felt like utter crap, she can hardly breathe but she has just been snoozing a lot and hasn't really cried - unless we're fessing her up, but hey that would be enough to make anyone cry! We have been trying to keep it pretty humid in the flat using the heaters, and it does seem to be helping. She had a good night too, slept from 8 til 12, had a feed and then slept until 5.15! I woke up at 4 and checked on her, she was snuffling but out like a light. So pretty happy with that.
Mel - bummer about the car!
Kristy :hug: sorry to hear about the photography session. Wrangling three little monkeys has got to be such a challenge. Seriously girl, you deserve a medal. :clap:

ok i'm going to post my little b1tch here as i know you will understand, today i am feeling just sooooo CRAPPY. I don't know why, my hormones are just all over the joint. I'm pi$$ed off with myself too. I even cried when i burnt isaac's toast.

I feel like such a bad person and its these dam photos that have done it. I'm pi$$ed off at myself cause i'm mad at the kids for not behaving yesterday. all i want is a few lousy family photos. I know i'm being stupid as they are just babies but crap i don't know im just $hitty Grrrrrrrrr. i have been trying not to take it out on isaac as i know he is only 18 months and can't help it sometimes, but today he is just being so naughty. and the twins won't sleep i just need a break.
i't just so dam stupit of me to be angry with a baby. and i know the photos are not surposed to be this important but for me thay are.
and just shopping last night at parramatter was so horrable. the people r rude the place was packed and i still didn't get to buy anything 4 my birthday 4 fathersday.

my house looks like a dump and the inlaws are coming tomorrow so now i have to put up with my ferral nephews my SIL with her rotton BO and my bogan MIL & FIL.
how on earth did my DH turn out so normal. thank god my mum is coming too so at least i'll have some support from her as well as DH.

I will be 29y/o tomorrow and to be honest i don't feel much like its going to be a happy birthday.

I think i have snapped or something i'll be ok just need to get a grip.
tomorrow i'm going to sit back and have a few glasses of wine (oyster bay merlot to be exact, awsome wine; expensive but awsome) and do whatever i want to do.

thanks for listening (reading) its made me feel better just to actually say why i'm $hitty even tho i still don't understand it.

next friday will be great cant waite....

You are doing such a great job and with so much on your plate it's no wonder you are feeling a bit frayed. Maybe with all these people coming tomorrow you can get them to look after the kids and really give you a day to yourself. You really need it and by God have you ever earned it! Maybe you could talk to DH and get him to delegate/ manage the baby care and household stuff for the day so you really can do whatever you want to do, be it going shopping on your own, having a good long sleep, a warm bath, a haircut/massage/manicure or just a break. Try to get some you-time just to recharge the batteries. And being its your birthday you should insist on it.
Seriously we all take our hats off to you for the great job you're doing with all those boys. We're here anytime you want to vent.
Happy birthday for tomorrow...... I hope you get some time for yourself. No one deserves it more. :hug::hug:

Kristy.. oh hun :hug: you know i so know how you feel. I felt exactly that way after our trip to the towers this week and both Jesse and Keira were being little *****s all day. All i wanted to do was have a nice day out with you but they stuffed that up. And like you, i know its not the end of the world, but i needed that day out to keep my sanity.. lol well that didnt happen!!!! Im sorry they played up for you yesterday. I hope they were able to get some good photos for you. Sometimes would be great if there was an off switch hey! Hun, lets do something for you on Monday if youre free. If you want to go to the shops and get your bday pressie, lets do it! If you want to just come over here and we have nice fattening hot chip sangers from across the road, lets do that! Its up to you birthday girl. Dont stess too much about the house. Just tidy what you can, and leave the rest. (washing etc). And if they say anything, tell them to come and spend a day in your life and see if they still have the same opinion. I honestly respect you so much for being such a strong and wonderful person. I loose it with my kids at the drop of a hat! You are just so calm and just take it all with a grain of salt. I really wish i had your patience and could be like you. Give me a call or send me a sms if you ever need a chat or b!tch or cry or whatever. You know where i am also if you just want to come over, you dont even have to ask.. just come on knocking.. im here hun. :hug:

Missy.. will ask her for you. My gf's DD's sticks out completely. Like you know those belly buttons that are just like a hole? well hers is the opposite. Its just like a nobby bit that sticks out. Its been that way since birth and shes now 5. Will let you know though.

Mel.. oh really. Hmm maybe it is his teeth making him play up at night. Might think about giving him some panadol before bed tonight and see if that makes any difference. Yeh, if it works keep with it. The colic stuff seemed to help more than the infants friend for Keira but she still had alot of unsettled periods and would not go to sleep without you walking and holding her. Now, you can lay her down and she'll sleep. She only has little cries now when shes hungry thats it. So yeh the Infacol seems to work for her. I guess every baby is different and different things work differently for each.

Keira's 6 week check up went well. Shes now 5.15kgs the little porker! And is now 57cm long! Tall bubba! Head is 4cm bigger since birth too.. again.. little porker! But CHN said that shes doing perfectly. Talked about depression. Did some quiz thing. But did tell her about my past 2 weeks and with that even taken into account ive come back with a score of 9 which she said was good. As long as its below 13 or something.

Well both kids are asleep woo.. so going to try and sleep myself.

Kristy - oh sweet you are doing a wonderful job with your boys, I feel silly complaining about my problems with only one little bubs. You have three boys and handling it so well. Missy - Umbilical hernias usually settle by themselves within a year. Some take up to five years. If there is still an umbilical hernia after 5 years I think they consider operating. I don't think it's anything to be worried about - they just like to know about them to keep an eye on them and ensure that they are righting themselves.

Kristy - :hug: Big hugs first off! You are an fantastic mum. I admire you and think you're an amazing person. I don't think I could handle having three little boys like you... if I did I'd probably be pulling my hair out and crying in the corner all the time. :P
I hope your vistors help out around the house and with the boys so you and your DH can relax, especially you.
Have a fabulous birthday and have as many wines as you like. You deserve it + more.
I hope you guys were able to get a few good family snaps at least. I'm finding it hard to get my 4 1/2yr old and baby to co-operate for just one photo, let alone 3 little boys.

Well I had a pretty busy day today. I went grocery shopping, left Jonathan with my parents, as I wasn't sure that coles or safeway have infant capsules?? I forgot to ask & I didn't see any at coles in the one I go to. I then got home took grocery out, packed them away. Gave Jonathan his bottle, he was unsettled for an hour. I then did the laundry cooked husband dinner. Ever since Jonathan was born I have lost my appetite GOOD. Because I was such a big eater I would just EAT EAT & EAT!! But I think my appetite will come back soon.

Kristy- Oh sweety :hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug: I so take my hat of for u. You are doing such a WONDERFUL job. Don't let anyone put you down. I'm sure it is hard. I'm glad you can talk to us, we are to listen, not to judge. Wish I can meet u & give you a big hub. I had tears in my eyes when you wrote that, because not all people give a **** how mother's are coping. I'm so glad ur hubby is nothing like his parents. Missy- Yeah I love QV oil & the lotion it's fantastic lotion on his body, feels nice & soft.

Mel- Thank you sweety, when you can no rush. LOL if he has got long hair why not, I'm sure it will cover his cradle cap, I would have done the same thing.

Kellxx & Kristy- Yeah thats fine, I havnt been to lollypops, I thought it was like that small play area at towers. Im happy to go to a park or towers..towers would even be abit better cause then I could walk to PIL place after (they live near towers) but yeah I dont mind as long as I dont have to race around to much and get to chat and go crazy over the little ones.

Kristy- mate i take my hat off to you.. today I cried over everything. Lucas didnt wanna sleep all day, Laila didnt wanna eat, play, watch tv..she just wanted me to pick her up and when id try to put her down she would scream. Your doing a fantastic job :hug:!!!

Kellxx- Wowie, she is only a day older then Lucas and he only weighed 3.9kgs Monday that passed. She is quite tall aswell, though your tall for a girl (or maybe im just way to short LOL)

I have mentioned you to a couple of my SIL's saying I don't know how she does it with 3 young boys! I struggle with my 2 and I know I struggled a bit (not that I have ever admitted before now) when it was just Jayden. Well done on a great job, I hope your visitors help you out and who cares about the house, they are there to see you and the family aren't they? Also..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY for tomorrow, I hope you get to relax a bit.

Kell: Baby steps for Chris but he is getting there! I tried olive oil with J but it was too messy and I don't think it worked on him (each baby is different of course). Keira's going great guns!! Well done! Also well done on passing the test! I didn't do it with Jayden but I think depression will be something I bring up at the 6week check up...don't really think I have it now but might be worth discussing.


Mel: Well done on the huge post....looks like mine LOL. I didn't know about the calories....I guess it only works better if you actually get on it hey? LOL I been a bit down today so didn't get to have a go. I think the Mellie slappin can be put on hold....for now haha Hope there is nothing too serious wrong with the car!! I'd go nuts staying at home! I was at the airport today and I heard a woman call out to her son and his name was Aricyn...or she could have said Harrison but pretty sure it was Aricyn...hadnt heard the name before and now I know of 2 haha.

Rach: I hope you guys get better....poor Beth! Must be hard for them when they have colds, can't take anything for it and they don't understand whats going on. Is she still feeding ok with a blocked nose?

Tasia: It annoys me when there are no infant seats at the supermarket, esp when you carry them up expecting it and then you gotta go back get the pram and only do half your shopping. I was after a trolley the other day with a baby seat and toddler seat next to it (there was only 2), neither where there but then I saw a lady walking around Woolies with 1 and she only had 1 baby, no other kids...I was so annoyed! I wish I could lose my appetite, mine gets really bad when I am feeding Ashlea, although some days are worse than others, I have stayed the same weight though so I must be balancing it when I am feeding.

I have my 6 week check up on Monday....it has gone so quickly!! We go back to see the LC next Fri even though this morning Ashlea refused to feed so I expressed, then she has refused all but 2 feeds today...I was getting pretty upset over it earlier but I know she will go back to normal again, the last feed was at 9pm which she feed fairly well with only some complaint from her. Chris is about to take over the computer so I better go.

Tan, Beth is still feeding ok although she's very snuffly. she's been having decent 3-4 hour sleeps too, although there is still a bit of coughing and sneezing, she usually sleeps through it. The Bear bought a vaporiser for her room yesterday which seems to have helped a lot but she's still pretty miserable. We're taking her to the doctor this morning, shame it's so horrid outside, it's absolutely pouring.
