Morning all!
Well i cant believe it. My little angel has slept through again! Well she was due for a bottle around 10pm. But i fell asleep and i woke up around 12.30am so thought i better go feed her. Fed her while she slept and put her straight back to bed and shes still asleep now! Its 7.38am! And yesterday at Kristy's, she was so settled. Like a completely different baby!!! Infacol.. you are a miracle worker!
But ehh Jesse! Grr! I get one child to sleep through and now i have the other playing up at night!! Jesse still is waking several times at night moaning! Im not sure if hes even awake some of the time as when i go in there, tuck him in, he stops and his eyes are always shut. But all this broken sleep is killing me. Physically and emotionally. So many break downs lately! Im over it. Oh and yeh AF is definately here and making up for the last 9 months!!!
Syd gals and dad.. so our meet up.. next friday 14th? Where do we wanna go? Is Castle Towers central or everyone?
Belle.. of course you can come! Sorry to hear youre going through a tough time. Sounds like a common thing with us with toddlers in here. Jesse's being a pain in the butt.. im still exausted from him being sick last week and hes just whinging and chucking tanties even more. Driving me insain.
Anastasia.. glad you had a nice day out!
BBL kids are playing up! Whats new..

this question is for anyone. You know how some babies have cardle cap that spreads to their forehead can u pick it off?

I am back in pre pregancy jeans but they are a size 16. Need to loose so much weight but i am not good at diesting!!!!!!!!!!!
hope evryone else is well.
kellex thats great that she slept throuught!!!!

Ok.. will see how long i get this time! lol
Tasia.. the best way to get rid of cradle cap (ive found) is to put sorbeline on it. Leave it for an hour or so, then shampoo it off vigerously.. usually with shampoo but whatever you using in the bath is fine. The towel dry vigerously.. and repeat until gone. Jesse had only one case of cradle cap and his was gone within that day of me doing it. Keira had something what looked like cradle cap, but was just her skin pealing. I did the above with her on Tuesday (just put the sorbelene on it in the morning) and we bathed her in the evening and it all came off.
Feeb.. good to hear Jacob did well with is needles!
Kristy.. park sounds good, but yeh it has to be fenced otherwise ill be chasing jess all day, lol and you Isaac. Also provided its not too cold or wet. But yeh worse comes to worse, Rouse Hill wasnt too bad with the double pram.. prob cos no one goes there no more!
I tell you, i have a completely different baby since that Infacol! This one can stay!
Oh i had a bad dream last night.. i dreampt that Keira was kidnapped! I went looking for her and i was shot and going to die! Then i woke up to Jesse moaning *joy*. Not nice though. Was so happy to see Keira in her bed this morning!
Ive cleaned the house.. well tidied.. and vacuumed even! Thats how good this baby is being. Just stuck Jesse in his high chair with his lunch. MIL is suppose to be coming over this arvo to mind the kids so we can go shopping. Not sure if ill leave both kids with her.. they can be a bit of a handful on your own.. we'll see.

:hello: all how are you all this morning?
Friday 14th sounds better than this week, Beth has got this killer cold and I wouldn't want to spread it to all you mummies and bubs!
Tasia if it really is fluid retention you could try ginger tea - apparently it helps clear fluid retention, my acupuncturist recommended it. Just slice some fresh ginger and pour on boiling water - easy!
Kell lucky you with Kiera sleepin through!
poor Beth with this cold she is struggling to feed. She is very snoozy though, so we are keeping her in her rocker and giving her fess drops before feeding her. Hope it goes away quickly, it was only really really bad for me for one day and after that i was just a bit snotty. Hopefully it will go away soon!
-
kell- wat kind of sorbelene, normal sorbelene or baby sorbelene? He's also got cradle cap on his forehead is it safe to peel it off? in the bath i'm using qv oil and then i moisturise his body with qv lotion.
-
Tasia.. I just used the Johnson & Johnsons one, but im sure any should be fine. I probably wouldnt peel it off if its stuck down as it might leave his head a little tender iykwim.. but just do those steps with his forhead too and you will find once you do the sorbeline and soak in water, it will become soft and should just come off easy.
Pixie.. oh i hope little Beth gets better soon. Never used one, but i remember seeing something around like a vapourisor you can plug into the power point? Poor pet.
Yep Friday 14th. I cant do this Friday either.. have Keira's 6 week check up.
OMG.. my 2 are asleep! So i might go see if i can crash on the lounge for a bit.. before missy wakes.. shes not due for a bottle for another hour so i might be lucky!
-
kell- do u use baby sorbelene or normal sorbelene?
-
The baby Johnson & Johnson one.
-
Pixie - We were told at Mother Group that if the babies have a blocked nose to express some milk and put a few drops up their nose. It will help them since your BF you could try and see if that clears it up. BM is also good for blocked duct in their eyes too or and if they have milk pimples just rub into their skin. Breast Milk is wonderful.
Kell - I'm so happy that Keira is sleeping so well for you. My little princess isn't I really don't know what else to do to make her sleep longer. Oh well she can just play on her floor gym and talk to her toys.
Tasia - Olive Oil is good for cradle cap too it will soften it and will just fall off.
Feeb - so happy that Jacob was such a good boy for his injections. Good to hear that he slept for you too. Can't wait to meet him Friday week at highpoint.
Well I'm looking forward to my DH coming home early tomorrow morning, I just have to deal with today and tonight then I will have that extra help with our little MISS.
A BIG :hello: to everyone I have missed, hope your day is going well.

Hi all
Well back from being out and took kids to the doc. I havent said before but little Liam belly button sticks out and i didnt really think much of it. Well took Callum and Liam to doc's and there isnt anything I can do for the colds just use vicks and fess and wait it out. As for Liam's belly button well its a hernia. Awwww the poor little thing. Every thing seems to be going wrong With him. Im so sad for him. I have an appointment at my pedi in about 1 1/2 weeks so the doc just said wait till then. What do you think they will do??
Kell yep 12th is fine with me. Just let me know where abouts.
Gudism I have dimetapp too so Ill see what it says.
Anastasia I wouldnt pick off the craddle cap. I have QV cream or the nurse I had come out to me said to just use olive oil so that is what ive been using. I use QV oil in the bath and massage him everynight with olive oil. His craddle cap is all clear. He loves his bath time and massage. He feels so soft after. Good luck with it hun. Hope it clears soon.
Hey Kristy hun. Awwww I bet your not getting much sleep. I hope when the formular starts they will sleep through for you.
feeb oh poor jacob. Im dreading the injection for Liam. I hate needles my self and I know Ill probably get upset. Good luck with his weight hun but he has done good.
pixie I know how bad it is for the kids to try and feed when they have colds. I hope Beth is better soon.
Hi Ayapi, Lindsay, belle, bear, SW, tenny, tannis and anyone else ive missed. Hope your all well.
Well better go and get dinner ready
-
Hey guys thanx for the cradle cap advice. I do use QV bath oil, so wat I will do is I put olive oil in his hair rub it thoroughly then rinse it out with water & QV oil that's already in it yeah?
-
Hi.
Missy - I hope everything goes ok with Liam. How do you get Hernias? Do they just form on their own or something? No idea what they'll do. I hope it's nothing too invasive.
Kell - Whoohoo! Awesome to hear Keira is sleeping through the night. OMG!!!!! what a scary dream.
Feeb - What a brave little man you have. I'm glad his injections went well.
Pixie - I hope Beth gets over her cold real fast.
Tasia - I hope the craddlecap clears soon.
Mez - YAY! Your DH is almost home. Whoohooooooo!
Awh, all you ladies and your meetups.
I wish I could meetup, but then again I'm really really shy.
Hayd has a routine going now. He has been sleeping through the night for weeks, then wakes 6:30/7am feed, goes back to sleep till at least 10am, then he's awake the rest of the day until about 4pm. Then he doses during the evening and wakes up to be fed, then usually his last feed for the day is 11:30pm/midnight. Then it starts all again.
I'm pretty happy with it. I can't complain.
I've been a bit lost lately. Kind of really down. I'm hoping it passes soon and doesn't drag my further down. Ah well... ***** happens, aye. :(
Also it's like I can't fully shake this damn cold off cause I'm so so rundown. It's hanging around like bad smell.
Sorry, such a poor effort by me.
xoxo

TheBear- Opps I totally forgot about that, thanks for reminding me!!!
Missy- Haha your a crack up.. Poor lil liam, hope he gets better
Kellxx- Laila was on infacol, works really good hey? Im in for Friday 12th, I was thinking a nice park or some play place like lolliepops instead of shops so we can sit down and all talk.
Belle- Did you get my txt tonight?
Tenny- Your not the only one hun, ive been feeling so down aswell:hug:
Feeb- Poor Jacob, im so not looking forward to that.
Tasia- Lucas had what looked like cradle cap but it was just skin peeling, I will also be trying what Kellxx said. Congrats on the weight loss!!
Lucas got weighed on Monday, he was 3.9kgs..he had put on 290grams in the week.
Well I just did the baby bonus claim, thought I better. I just didnt wanna do it yet cause im so lazy atm LOL and the money is going into an account for Lucas so I just thought it could wait but I forgot about medicare and FTB.
Im so tired, Lucas would not sleep at all today..must be having a growth spurt cause he just wanted to feed all day. DH had to work till 8pm tonight so by the time he got home at 9.15 I was in tears. He takes Lucas off me and the little **** went to sleep within 10mins.
Anyway hello all the people I missed, gunna go to bed cause the carpets/lounge are getting cleaned again tomorrow.
-
Tenny- That's ok, I'm shy as well.
Zee- thanx sweety.
Well I'm off now to feed Jonathan. Have a lovely nite ladies, ciao :)

Hey mummies and dad!
I have briefly read through the posts....its getting too late I need to be in bed!
Tasia: I saw your qu about cradle cap, Jayden had it really bad when he was a bub and I was told from my SIL who is a hair dresser to use bicarb, mix it with just enough water to make a paste and massage it in when he's in the bath. It worked wonders for Jayden but then I know someone else that tried and it didn't work (no harm was done though so might be worth a try).
Its been raining pretty much all day today, SIL came to pick J up for day care and ended up staying for quite a while with the other day care kids cause there was nothing else they could do because of the rain. Then when they left I put together my new exercise bike (which Chris is not happy that I bought). I had the shopping to do as well but didn't leave home until 3.30pm and I was meant to pick J up at 4pm...lucky I don't get charged extra for being late, I got caught up with a guy I used to work with and didn't get to pick J up until 5.30pm!
I had my 2nd cup of coffee since J was born today, just felt like it for some reason....don't think I will do it again, Ashlea had slept no more than 1.5hrs all day then went to sleep at about 7.30pm I had to wake her to feed her at 11pm and she is out like a light again....She's swaddled good so hopefully I don't hear her until at least 6am haha.
I think I have another busy day tomorrow but I will try to catch up on personals soon
 nighty night!
ETA: Oh I nearly forgot....Wednesday I said to Chris that I won't bath Ashlea as I was too busy making dinner, cleaning up etc and HE offered to have a shower with her!! He asked if it would be ok, I said she's a little slippery but that would be fine to shower with her! I couldn't believe it so I took pics...above the waist of course (uploaded on FB).

OMG its 8am and the brat is still sleeping.
went to lollypops last weekend and there is no way i can do it without my DH or mum or something isaac is just too wild and will just run off. i think either Castle towers or the rouse hill park. 4 the meet it seems sentral (ish)
ok isaac just woke
oh and yesterdays family photo's session was a nightmare all 3 cried most of the time....

Yep ive heard the olive oil is good too for the cradle cap.. just becareful you wash it all off before going in the car. Even its not really that hot atm.. the sun can come through the back window and burn bub's head ;)
Tannis.. oh glad Chris is starting to get his butt into gear and helping you out hun!
Syd gals.. we'll see whats around, park wise. My only problem with somewhere like lollypops is ill have to be chasing Jesse around the whole time and wont really get to sit and talk.. plus chasing and looking after Keira might be fun also.. not. If you get me. I mean otherwise theres always that play area in Castle Towers? Its a bit smaller than lollypops and theres tables and chairs right there.
Zee.. hope Lucas is better for you today hun. Yep infacol is great! I never knew about that stuff with Jesse.. poor mite had colic and wind so bad when he was a baby.
Tenny.. thats great Hayden is in a routine, makes it all a bit easier hey. Oh hun, look after yourself ok. If you ever want to chat im here ok. Either on msn or pms or email. Is there anything youre feeling down about in particular? Ive been having some bad days too.. especially when my kids play up. Its a hard job to do raising kids.
Missy.. oh poor Liam. My gf's daughter has a belly button that sticks out.. imagining a complete inny but in reverse. Im not sure if shes ever had it checked out though. Ill have to ask. What will they do for it?
Mez.. have you tried giving Izzy a bath of an evening and massage etc? Dim the lights or use least amount of light possible. Is she wrapped? Maybe during the day when shes awake take her out of the wrap as much as possible and then wrap her when you want her to sleep so she may get the hint, wrapping is for sleeping? Also, if Keira wakes during the night, i usually leave her nappy and not change it. She's usually fine until morning in it, but have found changing her nappy wakes her up more. You can get a Calm remedy from Braun also for babies.. maybe that might help her of a night? Hope she starts behaving for you soon!
Another pretty good night here (Keira wise!). She fed at 10pm, woke at 5am and was back asleep by 5.30am so am pretty happy with that. Would be happier if Jesse would stop waking up through the night moaning until i go in and tuck him in. I dont get why hes doing it. He has the blankets on him mostly when i go in there so i dont think hes cold. But when i go him his eyes are closed like hes asleep and he's fine once ive tucked him in then walk out. I feel like crap every morning from the broken sleep im getting.
Keira has her 6 week check up this morning. FIL is coming to watch Jesse so i dont have to lug him with me yay! Plus its raining and would be a biarch getting both kids out of the car in the wet.
