Haha ahh ok.....I have no idea how I fit so much into the day LOL...Tomorrow I have to take J to day care, do the food shopping, buy a few clothes for me (just cause I deserve it LOL), might have lunch with a friend, do the housework, try to have a nap(pfft as if) then pick J up at 4pm.....I'll let you know what I actually get done!
-
Well just popping in to say im still alive, just been super busy lately. Read through posts but id never be able to reply.. meeting up with Belle tomorrow morning so will pop in tomorrow night with some pics.
Laila's eye is finally starting to look better.
-
Hey Zee, how are you going hun? Thats great about Laila's eye! Can't wait to see some pics....I have to get off my butt and upload more pics from the weekend!
I'm meeting my niece for lunch today so there goes my nap :( Don't think I would have got one anyway. I wanted to look for a sand pit for the kids for xmas but Chris told me not to because it will attract snakes??? Is this true? Has anyone had an experience like this? Our last house we had a brown snake in the house...we didn't have a sand pit there so I think if they are going to come they are going to come regardless, we are in a fairly new estate now and its clear no bushes or rocks or trees etc. Better get ready to go, my aim is to leave here at 8.15am (pfft  it won't happen!)
-
Tenny.. yeh check out ebay maybe? Just type in bath seat? He was in it until he started sitting up himself.. so 5 months or so. Oh hun big  I hope DP picks up his act soon and shows you a bit more respect, you definately deserve it hun.
Mez.. yeh hes just waking up moaning during the night. I thought it was because it was cold.. but last night was warm and he still did it.. so i have no idea why. Good luck with the needles! I might have to start Keira in her grobag sometime soon.
Gonna leave it there for now.. gotta hang out the washing and am so tired i cant be bothered to type no more lol.. will be back later once the caffeine has kicked in!

Hi all,
Zee & Belle - hope you had a great meet up. Thats great news about L's eye Zee - i hope it doesn't hurt her anymore.
Tan - you do write really big posts you know - must be because you have a perfect baby huh? ;) hehehehehehe
Sorry, lack of personals today - I just want to eat.
Yesterda was such a crappy day - Miss M just didn't sleep, didn't settle, screamed for most of the day.. drove me freakin insane. Poor DS copped a lot of my yelling at him cos everything he did just pi$$ed me off that little bit more and since I can't tell Miss M to shut up because she doesn't understand, he copped a lot of shut up ARICYN...poor thing.. I'm such a bad mummy!!!!
We suspect Miss M has silent reflux - went to the chiro this morning so hopefully he can help her - if not.. hmm. dunno what to do!!!!!!! At least she isn't screaming at the moment - so thats a good thing - perhaps I might get to have some lunch after all!!!!!
Better go - chicko roll is burning under the grill cos I can smell it...
-
I try to keep them short but I can't if I want to reply to everyone then say whats going on here ;)
This is a short one....gotta go
-
Afternoon all,
Zee - good to hear you DD's eye is getting better, hope you and Belle had a great time today can't wait to see the photos.
Tannis - You do have busy days but it's all good, very impressed how much you actually get done in 1 day  How was the shepherds pie?
Mel - Chico roll I haven't had one of those in years... How was your day today sweet? Isabel also has silent reflux but seems to be doing well now.
My little princess had her injections this afternoon and I was in tears when my little girl screamed it's so hard seeing your child so upset, she seems to be okay now she's had a feed, bath and is now sleeping so we'll see how our night goes.
Question for all, for those who are going to use grobags what do you dress your little one in cause I'm finding that her little arms and hands are frozen by the morning. At the moment I have a short sleeve bodysuit and then her wondersuit on, do you think its enough?? Look forward to hearing your opinion.
*waves* to all I have missed
Well better get some dinner happening and relax before having to feed the little one again (if she wakes) before I head to bed. BBL
-
I am so proud of my little girl - she only seemed to scream for about 0.3 of a nano second after each injection today! So far no adverse reactions, seems her happy little self.
So far so good with the no swaddling thing. The past three nights she has slept between 5 and 7 hour stretches followed by a shorter sleep to get us through to morning - so only one feed in the night! Grobags seem to be working well for us.
waves to all
-
Mez - how do you control the silent reflux of Izzy's? I will make an appointment with the doc for Saturday cos she has to get her needles anyway - so am going to ask what can be done for her.... but what did they suggest to help Izzy? I know you have posted it before, but can't remember (sorry!!)
Oh.. and happy 2 months to my screaming little bubba...
ETA - just remembered what I was thinking about in the car on the way home - TAN - would you guys come down for the naming ceremony when we have it? (could be a fair few months away.. lol)
-
Mez.. You could always get some long sleeve body suits and put them on under the wondersuit. I did that with Jesse when he was in them. Just alternated between the long and short sleeve body suits. But i think they say with the grobags that you may find their hands are a little cold, just as long as their body is warm, then theyre fine. I know they say not to use blankets with them. But with Jesse, when we would put him to bed it would be hot.. then come the time we go to bed it had cooled down and i would just put a blanket on him.. otherwise if we dressed him up before hand he would sweat like a pig and not be able to get to sleep. i know how you feel re the needles. I still have to get Keiras done.
Mel.. awww poor thing. You can try some stuff from the chemist called Gaviscon. Its for regurgetation (sp).. Kristy uses it for her boys and finds it great. I used it for Keira but made her constipated and didnt make a difference, so depends on the bub. You just add it to their formula. Its not a milk thickener though. Otherwise yeh see what the doc says. They may prescribe you something like Losec or Zantac or suggest putting her on AR Formula. Ive found the AR formula has worked well for Keira. She has proper reflux though but i know you can use the AR for silent also. Mez has Izzy on AR Formula plus Zantac.
Well it was a stinker here today!!!!!!!!! And another due tomorrow! Oh and AF is back!!! So am starting the pill! Opps but forgot to get it.. so will tomorrow. The first few pills are only sugar ones anyways so should be right.
-
Thanks Kel.. hopefully the doc will give me good advice.. poor little poppets aren't they..
I got AF back a few days ago - she's gone missing again now though.. LOL... I'm not on the pill yet - why bother - not having sex or anything.. pmsl... who has the time or the energy these days...
-
SW - Great to hear the immunisations went well. So you aren't swaddling her at all and just using those grobags? We swaddle at nighttimes.
Mez - It is really hard to watch them cry and there is nothing you can do about it. I hope your night goes alright and she sleeps through. We haven't started using grobags so no idea there... good question though, helps for when/if we start using them. DP is iffy about them for some weirdo reason. idk.
Mel - I'm sorry yesterday was a bad day. You're not a bad mummy. Everyone has times like that, and if they say they don't then they're liars. You're doing a fantastic job. My days lately usually have times when everything Elijah does annoys me and I'm telling him to be quiet, etc. I seriously can't help it. :(
I remember when I was having contractions and even Elijah just looking at me would send me over the edge. How mean was I!!!! I hope today was better and YAY! happy 2months Babygirl!
Zee & Belle - I hope you ladies had the best time together today! Don't forget piccies for us. Hehehe.
Kell - DP isn't too sure about the bath seat. I think he thinks it's a bit of a waste of money so I'm not sure if we'll get one or not. I'm still waiting on my AF. I'm sick of waiting for the silly witch so I can just start the bl00dy pill and get it over with. I've been thinking AF was close for a while, so I give up. Lol.
Tan - No idea about the snakes and sandpits. I think they'll just come anytime regardless. I reckon I saw a snake yesterday on the road, but it made me think it was a fake one... so I don't know. Lol. I hate snakes!!!!!!!!
I better go check on dinner cooking in the oven.
:hello: Pixie, Bear, Missy, Kristy, Feeb and everyone else.
xoxo

Heya all,
Belle and I had a great meet up..Tara is SO CUTE!!! We are gunna meet up at Lollipops quite often, better then Laila having to sit in a pram. I decided before I left to book Laila's bday party there..only $230 for 8 kids and something like $22 extra per extra child.
Mel- Awww silent relux.. your not a bad mummy hun, its just so mentally hard at times.
Mary- Poor Izzy, I hate needle time..cry before we even get there LOL:redface:
Tan- I havnt heard of that.. maybe get one of those clams so you can close it?? Thats what we have done anyway.. Hope you had a nice lunch:D
Pixie- Where abouts do you live again? DH happy for a meet up.
Tenny- Will upload pics later tonight (well hopefully)
Hmmm anyway hello everyone else, have to go cause im at PIL's place. Will try and upload pics when I get home.
ETA: I get the Rod in Monday now I have FINALLY stopped bleeding Monday.
-
Mel - Izzy is on Zantac twice a day and I have her on Karicare AR formula. See what the doc suggests but they will hopefully tell you to give her either Losec or Zantac.
SW - So glad that your little girl didn't cry for long, Izzy with her second needle went red in the face and did the hold the breath cry it broke my heart. She seems okay now haven't given her panadol and is sleeping at moment.
Kell - thanks for the info I did put a long sleeve bodysuit under her wondersuit last night but still cold I'll see how she goes tonight like you said if the rest of her body is warm it should be fine. Oh and did you use to take her out to have a feed during the night, cause I've been keeping her in it just easier for me.
Zee - I can't wait to see the photos, so happy that you guys had a great time today.
-
Tenny.. yeh either way. I thought it was a good investment myself. Our bath is pretty deep so holding Keira or Jesse over the side would wreck my arms. But i guess alot of people just lay bubs down on their back in the bath.. you can do that? Im going to put Keira in the seat though and bath Jesse at the same time i think.. he'd prob drown her if she was on her back lol. Oh enjoy it while you dont have AF! One of the best things about being pregnant!
Mez.. Yeh for sure, i left Jesse in it. Id put him in it before his last feed too.. otherwise taking them out will just wake them up more. What tog do you have her in atm? Maybe the next tog up might be better? But i guess also, if shes cold she'll let you know.
Zee.. oh are you getting an implanon thingy? Have you seen the thread on BB lately about them? hmm kinda the reason i dont wanna get one.
Mez.. lol i know.. no DTD here either.. but i wanna get the AF under control.. shes been a bit wild lately! lol

hahaha - sorry. pmsl-ing that 90210 was axed after only 4 episodes. Must have been hideous! LOL
Ayapi - yeah, she did brilliantly. Was a little grizzly for a couple of hours this arvo, but is back to her smiley happy self - also no panadol. Currently playing on her play mat with one of the cats!! Every now and then tries to move her head far enough to watch tv, but mostly happy grabbing at Linden (and Linden is thrilled that her play thing is getting more interactive!). She loves talking to Linden, too (and Linden talks back). I think it's just a matter of time before Alyssa starts meowing!! ;)
We have Alyssa in short sleeve body suits at night unless it's a cold night. Her hands do get a little cold, but she seems really happy. On cold nights we put her in full length body suits. She loves the grobags - gives the biggest smiles when you do up the shoulders =) She makes me melt BIG TIME!
-
Mel: Hope its not reflux hun...then again if it is you can treat it. Of course we'd come down for the naming day!
Mez: Shepards pie was delicious!! Sounds like Izzy coped ok with the shots, hope she's good o'night for you
SW: Woohoo for Alyssa and her shots!
Kell/Mel: Bugger for AF!!
Tenny: Snakes don't bother me too much, but I don't want them around my kids or dogs
Zee: We use to have a clam for the dogs to play in water but they ripped it up....it wouldn't last long if I got one for the kids LOL
Missy: What great stats!
