Well, for the 2nd night in a row Beth slept the whole way through! This morning she didn't wake up until 7.30!!! My boobies were ready to explode LOL poor little thing nearly drowned in milk when I finally fed her!
Missy - good on you for being there for your sister.... such a hard time for your family, thinking of you :hug:
Kel - Gorgeous gorgeous photos! Kiera is such a little spunk. Well, Jess is pretty spunky too actually!
Zee - a trip away sounds great! It definitely made us feel better, hope you get to go!
Tenny - awww giggles!! Can't wait for Beth to start giggling. it must be soooo cute!
Feeb - YAY for the 12 hour sleep!
Tan - I checked out airfares to Melbourne in the week after Melbourne cup... I was going to fly Virgin b/c I have probably enough reward points to cover the flights.... but there were hardly any cheap flights left.... I will have another look but it's not looking too promising :(
For the routine, it usually goes something like -
7.30 - wake up, feed
8.30 - sleep
10.00 - wake up
10.30 feed
11.30 sleep
1.00 wake up, feed
2.30 sleep
3.30 wake up
4.00 feed
5.00 bath, sometimes nap
7.00 feed and sleep
11.00 wake for a feed and back to sleep
Sometimes wakes at 4 for a feed but not for the last few days! :loveshower:
nap times vary, sometimes she goes all the way between feeds without a sleep but it's pretty rare and if she does that she's usually exhausted afterwards. Sometimes it's just a little catnap. But that's essentially it.
Well it was kind of a busy day yesterday - markets, friend came to visit, Mum and her friend came over and the Bear drove them to the airport - they're going to Italy for three weeks, lucky b*ggers!

Dh is still at work. Was only suppost to work until 12pm today, but being the hot weather, has to stay until it reaches a certain degrees. But is Sunday so that means double time! So just the 5 hours hes been there now is already over an extra days pay! Cant complain with that!

Kristy/Missy.. are we still up for Wednesday at the park opposite the Raaf base? Anyone else is very welcome to join us.

How are you all? Julia had fun at Nana's I picked her up Saturday and she was knackered! and I had some nice sleep catchup and Jeffrey was at home getting better from the flu so we are all better this weekend which is great to see.

Its good to read everyones routines. Our routine is demand feeding however she seems to have set her own routine like this below:

5am wake and feed
6am back to bed to sleep
7.30am wake and feed (Julia wakes up at this time too)
8am - play time
9am - we usually have a top up of feeding and go out for the morning
9am - 10.30am sleep
10.30am - wake and feed
11am - play
12noon - sleep (I put her to bed when Julia has her one day sleep)
2pm - wake and feed
2.30pm play
3.30pm sleep
5.30pm wake and feed
6.30pm sleep
Sometimes she will wake at 3.30am other times not until 5am.

Zee - hope Lucas has settled and you are having less feeding issues honey sending you big hugs. Does he fight the breast? Tara seems really unsettled the last 2 days with the breast and even with the bottle if I express or feed her formula doesnt make a difference... Im hoping its just a phase but she seems to have silent reflux caeus she cries until she burbs and will only feed when upright otherwise she cries and cries, do you think Lucas has that too?

Kell - wheres the park, near Windsor ? cant come this week sorry I have a PAED appt fshe or Tara on Wednesday re her stork mark on her forehead and to check to see if her left side of head is still flatter than right, but maybe next time?

A BIG Hello to everyone I have missed...

Well Isabel has been a little demanding this weekend, instead of talking she has discovered her voice and now just screams then laughs. She is sleeping well still after her last feed at 10pm although she has been waking at 4:30am and I've had to put in the dummy for her to fall asleep again in the end she resettles in our bed until 7am.

We are heading to New Zealand on Wednesday morning so I will be MIA for a week. I hope you guys don't miss us too much lol..NOT. Tomorrow we have MG and we are learning how to do Baby Massage looking forward to that.

I'm completely over certain people thinking they're the best parents in the entire world so that gives them the right to critise me, even though I'm trying my very hardest and doing the best I can. I really need to learn to be a stronger person. Lately It seems I'm so emotionally rundown that I can't even stand up for myself. Today was bad.. I couldn't handle it. I just started crying and had to walk away and cry by myself. Luckily for me, Alana (my twin sister) was there and she was fully standing up for me and ripping it up them... not that it makes any difference to their opinions thoughts cause they think they know everything and everyone else doesn't..
It's really bad when you are seriously close to almost cut all ties with them for a few weeks or even more... but hey, It's not my loss, it's for my sake and ultimately what's best for my family - cause if Mummy is unhappy, then it's a huge impact on DP & the boys... right?

Quick question:
So your child isn't listening and is doing whatever they please and it's not something good either.
Do you let them keep doing whatever they want or do you do something about it?
Not that you hurt their spirit or personality, etc.. but just teaching them that they need to listen for their own sake and sometimes safety.

Sorry about my rambling. I feel like all I do is whinge lately. :(

Hi girls,
Its great knowing what other babies are doing with their feed/sleep etc!
Ashlea has slept heaps tonight but woke up properly for what is supposed to be her dream feed and I have just settled her from her screaming episode! The only thing I can think of is she may not have liked the icecream & custard I had...maybe a lactose overload?? Is there such a thing? Jayden only went to sleep at 11.15pm too....my children better sleep in tomorrow!

I'm getting my pap smear today....must say I'm really not looking forward to it LOL. I'm getting SIL#1 to look after Jayden while I'm in there.

We had a pretty good weekend...The kids and I stayed home Saturday, I got in to Ashlea's rooms starting to clean it out as we have visitors this week (and Ashlea needs a room finally!) but I made it worse! Sunday we all (including Chris shock horror!) went to the markets then to Bunnings, Jayden love the play equipment there and they had a $2000 playground that I really want to get for the kids....but we already have a swing set and $2000 is a bit much!
Loved all the photos of Keira Kell and loved the one of Jesse and his guitar...looks like the guitar "Santa" is getting Jayden for xmas.

Well best be off, Jayden closed the door to the computer room so I have no idea what he is doing or where he is....Ash is meant to be asleep if he hasn't gone in to disturb her!

Tenny: With your question, is it something specific Elijah has done or hypothetical? With Jayden (not that it always works) but I count to 3 or if that doesn't work I pick him up and move him away from whatever he is doing, as I said doesn't always work especially lately

Zee - did you find out what was bothering Laila? I hate it when they scream and won't tell you why - even though they can talk enough to tell you!!! Drives me bloody batty.. Does Lucas sleep in the car at all? Miss M has been sleeping much better since taking her to the homeopath for some drops - maybe thats another thing to try with Lucas? Her reflux is MUCH better - but will still get upset if I put her down too early after a feed. Did you go away to the cabin? Hope you had a good break if you did... and I can't remember how to get the facebook saying that, will check my sig and get back to you.

Tenny - I think most swings go till they are about 8 or 9 kgs? So depends if you want to spend that much money on one for a few months - I think DS was out of his by about 6 months because he kept grabbing the sides when it was rocking. We got a new one for DD and she can't grab the sides cos there isn't any!!!! LOL Not sure what the weight limit is on the new one though - can't find the manual!!!!
Sorry you are having a rough time - to answer your question - if DS is doing something he is NOT supposed to do and I've told him several times already - I usually just take him away from the situation or remove the article (ie, yesterday he was sucking on an actual DVD - not the cover - so I removed it and told him NO - then he started to suck the paper insert from the DVD cover - so I yanked that out of his mouth too... then he took the corn thins with vegemite I had made him to eat and spread them - butter/vegemite side down on the kitchen floor - I had had ENOUGH... yanked him out of the kitchen by his arm and sat him down on the floor - twice - while I cleaned it up.. quite a bit of yelling yesterday.. LOL)

Kel - your kids are so gorgeous!!! I know I've said it heaps of times - but they areally are!!! LOL And I'm sure nobody would think you were strange for filming your son.. just tell them you are sending it in to Australias funniest home videos... hehe

Pixie chick - yay for sleep through!!!!

Belle - I'm glad Julia had a good time at her Nan's - DS loves hanging out with his Nanny - wants her all the time.. think I'll have to get a blow up doll that looks like her or something..lol

Well had a pretty good weekend here - DS is sick again so he's been a little bit more whingy - but is at daycare today - woot!! hehe I'm such a b!tch.. LOL

had a meet up yesterday with some BB girls - and it was really good to meet new people!! Got horribly sunburnt though :( Miss M got really sunburnt too on her face, she sorta resembled a little tomato.. LOL... I put some nappy rash cream on her face (may sound strange yes, but its an all natural moisturiser type thing that you can use with MCN so its good stuff) and she must be just like her mumma - no more sunburn on the 2nd day - I usually tan up so thats good that she is the same as me..

She is sitting happily in her swing at the moment, and I don't even have it going!!! Just chilling there checking out her hand and cooing and stuff.. she has been so happy lately!!!

Still in the routine of feeding her at 8 - in bed at 9 - and getting up around 7/7.30. I had to sorta half wake her up today cos I needed the car so had to leave early. I walked in the room and she was just lying there with her eyes open, no grizzling, no crying - no noise at all.. what a good girl.. lol... DS has been really cute too lately, he'll wake up, get out of bed and crawl into our bed for a cuddle and then we all get up.. sooo cute..

Ahhh well.. better go clean the house I guess:rolleyes:

Oh hey, does anyone think its unusual that I got really really bad cramps when I ovulated, but woke up this morning with AF and no cramps at all!??! Isn't that weird?

We have had a pretty quiet weekend. My DH worked all weekend in fact today will be his 15th 12hour day on a row.
Saturday we started swimming lessons again and I was over the moon with Isaacs performance, he loved it and kicked hiss little legs like mad.
Yesterday we just hung out at home, housework, washing etc...

Tennykins- re your question! I try hard not to let Isaac get away with too much. we can be pretty strict. if he is being ignorant and not listening I go to him hold his face quite firm about 1inch from mine and tell him in the crankiest deep voice I can that "not listening to mummy is very naughty behaviour!" and "he must always listen to mummy and if he ignores mummy again he will have to sit on the naughty chair and will not be able to play." For Isaac yelling doesn't really work. In our place DH and I are the boss and you do as you?re told even if you don?t want to. I don?t think it does any harm and it seems to work. my mum said to me when I had Isaac that a good thing to remember is that- 80% teacher + 20% friend = 100% mum, and I think she is right I spend a lot of the day telling Isaac what he can and cant do.

Zee- how is Lucas going? I think I?m lucky where for some reason crying doesn't bother me.

feeb & Zee- do you have one of those support things that stop them from rolling? Isaac couldn't sleep without one I think it made him feel like he was being held. Just thought it might help.

Missy- how's it going hon? if you need anything let me know.

the park on Wednesday??? who is coming. i tried to google children?s parks with fences around them in Sydney but came up with nothing. hmm maybe i can ask BB members.

well 2am he finally settled til 0600 when i put him in our bed and fed him. On walk to exercise he stopped screaming again (started as we walked out the door) was ok till half way throught when he started againm!!!!!!!!!!!

Tan - Sounds like you had a good weekend. Lol. I usually make things worse when I'm tryna clean up too, aswell as getting distracted and moving on to something else before finishing the first thing. It's not really any certain thing in particular that he's doing. We give Elijah to 5, sometimes he doesn't deserve that long. Lol. Good luck at the doctors. I'm dreading my papsmear, but I don't have to go back until the start of dec so I've got a little longer to wait and worry.

Mel - I only just remembered we had a swing for DS1 the other day. It was homemade job we got from someone. He loved it, but it got chucked out cause it got ripped or something. I think Bubbablue would love a swing, I just don't know which to get and which is good or anything like that, and not a money waster. That butter vegemite smearing that your DS did is something my chicken would do too. Ugh boys!!!!
Not sure about the cramps you got with ovulating. I actually had some ovulation pains this time, that I don't usually get, but I also had AF cramps too worse then usually aswell.

Feeb - :hug: I hope Jacob sleeps today and gives you a much deserved sleep. Also got my fingers crossed that he gets back into the sleeping routine he had going before. :hug:

Kristy - YAY Issac with his swimming lessons. I think your mum is right too. Your mum sounds cool!! I too think I need to go to playground this time around with Bubbablue. I'm really shy and all that jazz, so that's why I never did it with Elijah. I think I might wait till next year though, cause it'll just be Bubbablue and me since Elijah will be at big school.

Thank you ladies so much for replying to my question. It's much the same as what I do here. I think I needed reassurance that I'm not doing the wrong/bad thing, and teaching my son what is right and wrong in both actions and the way he treats people, isn't a bad thing.

Tenny.. oh honey :hug: yes definately.. if you arent happy then your family isnt happy, and you must look after yourself hun. There unfortunately will always be those out there who think they know everything about parenting.. when the one major key they dont know is.. every child is different and not every piece of advice will work for everyone. Sure, listen and take it on board, but you have to do what you feel is right. Everyone has their own opinions on what is the right way to parent and bring up children.. but its only right for their children. The way you choose to raise your kids is your choice and its the only way that is right. It isnt an easy job being a mum, especially when you have more than one. Just remember no matter what, you are doing a great job and you are a wonderful mummy because you love your boys and would do anything for them. Its hard when they dont listen and throw tanties, especially in public! Jesse's the same.. but i guess you just have to say at the end of the day.. ahh well. Tomorrows another day. Everyone who has kids totally understands what you are going through and are feeling hun. And to those who dont.. pehh! They need to go bury their heads in the sand if they dont wanna hear it. :hug: Dont be sorry about ranting.. thats what we're here for ;)
If Jesse is doing something ive said no to (ill tell him at the same time why im saying no ie if its dangerous or is daddy's or whatever) or isnt listening.. ill walk over to him and say "mummy said no". If he continues to do whatever it is (he usually has a cheeky a$$ look on his face) ill either pull him away, take away whatever it is and last resort give a smack on his hand. He knows what no means. He then may chuck a tanty, scream and carry on. If he doesnt stop after say 30 seconds, he gets taken to his room and sat on his bed where i tell him, once he's finished he can come out. If he comes back out still screaming and carrying on, he gets taken back in. When he comes out (usually has a smile on his face as he knows hes done wrong).. he comes and in his way says sorry, gives me a cuddle and a kiss to say sorry and i tell him why i said no and why he was put into his room. If we're at the shops, well thats a different story. Not much i can do except say no and may give him a smack on his hand. Theres been times where hes jsut thought it was funny to try and hit everything off the shelves as we walk by while sitting in the pram. If he continues to do it after ive said no, he'll get a smack on his hand. If its him chucking a tanty out.. like the other day.. only thing i can do is ignore it.

Mez.. oh have a wonderful and safe trip honey!!! Keiras been doing a 4-5am wake also. Just been putting the dummy in too and her music on and shes going back out. Im wondering if its anything to do with the weather. It still gets cold of a night here, but not until the wee hours.

Belle.. yeh, its pretty much windsor.. the suburb is called Clarendon but its next door to windsor.. kinda inbetween Windsor and South Windsor in a way. Its opposite the Raaf Base. Yeh for sure.

Had a little morning out this morning with the kids. Had a rain check on something for Keira for christmas which i had to pick up today otherwise we wouldnt get it for that price. Its a FisherPrice walker/stroller. So its like a walker.. but its a stroller too so she can put a bear or doll in it or whatever.. but use it to learn to walk also. Very cute. So just did that and grabbed a few groceries. Can you believe it.. i was PMSing last night and there was NO chocolate in the house!!! PMSL! We're very well stocked now :lol:

Have decided to not bother with Jesse's afternoon sleeps any more and see how we go. If he's really tired then ill put him in or he can snooze on the lounge.. but hes just having too much trouble getting to sleep at night.

OH! I have to tell you. We have recently descovered that Jesse can say "Socks".. but it doesnt sound like socks.. it sounds very defined like "F*CK". I have no idea how he is making that sound from socks.. but thats how he says socks! :lol: Oh DH and i p!ssed ourselves laughing when he first heard it.. showed Kristy and sure enough lol.. ohhh gotta love him.

Can I ask for some advice? when do you give those drops like Infacol? about 15-30mins after Tara feeds she crys uncontrollably even though she has burped she is in pain until she does more burbs, has this happened to anyone? is that when you use drops? its so heartbreaking to see her in pain until she burps more. Maybe its the formula top up im giving her (s26 gold) maybe worthwhile me changing to another formula? not sure. Ive been topping her up once or twice a day usually last feed as she doesnt get enough milk from me.

Belle.. im still giving Keira the infacol every feed (you just put it in their bottle.. or when breastfeeding just shoot it into her mouth before a feed). But yeh thats what she use to do prior to the infacol. How it works is it kinda joins all the air bubbles in their tummy into one, so they kinda have less bubbles in their tummy to burp up. So yes, thats what its for. I probably wouldnt change the formula she is on unless she is constipated or something.. as it just sounds like she has some wind.

Mel: Aww poor Mehkelti! Oh and you of course LOL. What a good girl you have! Wish Jayden would wake up nice! Lately he has been waking up crying, not sure if its nightmares or not! I used to get O pains, don't think they were too bad though, get it checked if it continues.

Kristy: You poor DH!! I couldn't work that long for that many days! Have fun at playgroup tomorrow, hope you make some friends there as well hehe.

Might try until 5 with Jayden see if that works haha There's no right or wrong, I think its whatever works for you and your situation.

Kell: Hmmm a bigger backyard would be nice! I'm trying not to have Jayden sleep during the day now, he was up until 11.15pm last night then up at 7am this morning...needless to say thats not enough sleep and he fell asleep on the way home from shopping today at 3pm so another late night for us. LOL re: socks! Jayden picked up one of his toys the other day and told me it was a *ick (he was saying stick), SIL#6 and I were laughing so hard we had tears! I love this age for the things they say!

We were at PIL's the other day and I was changing Jayden's nappy...while I was wiping he said in a big voice " Biggest poo ever Mummy!" PMSL! then as I was putting on the clean nappy I realised it was a dud and the tab wasn't coming up I said (not too loudly) "Oh bugger" then Jayden in his big voice again said repeatedly "Oh bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger....." I was again PSML and trying my hardest to tell him to stop which made him laugh and say it even louder! Chris and PIL where in the other room laughing too! I have always been able to keep a straight face when I need to with him but that time I just couldn't! Well I better clean up Ashlea's room while the 2 are asleep.
Oh Dr's went pretty good, she was really quick which was great! Results next week...I'm hoping they are ok as I have had problems before...don't want to go down that road again!

Well... our house sold!! Three offers during the first open for exhibition (and lots more people requested copies of contracts, so a good sign of interest). We have accepted one of those (which is substantially more than we expected, but with a shorter settlement period). Looks like we'll be moving to Adelaide some time in the next month!

I'm back!

I had my apt today with the Health Nurse for my assessment and passed so happy about that. She also weighed and measured Isabel while I was filling out the paperwork. I'm very proud my little girls stats at 12 weeks are:

weight - 5.54kgs (810grams) up from 8 wks check up
Height - 60cms (5cms) in a month
H/C - 40cm (2.5cms) in a month

So very happy :dance:

Only was i could get Jesse to even sit with Keira was to bribe him with milk lol.. and for the one on his own.. well.. he had to hold the cover to his Bear In The Big Blue House dvd.. lol.. i love them though. Am going to put the one of both of them in those photo Christmas cards. Did the same with a photo of Jesse last year.

Mez.. oh i have to still listen hard with Jesse with alot of things i still cant understand. Hes getting alot better though.. though most of his words only i know what they mean lol.

Tannis.. yep Jesse is the same. If he has a day sleep, he finds it hard to get to sleep at night.. but if he doesnt, then we find him falling asleep at the dinner table. Think hes just in that limbo period where he needs it but doesnt iykwim. PMSL with the bugger. Oh the things they say! Ive had the same with the tabs on the snugglers rip off.. and when they do ive said ehhhhhh! kinda like a peed off sound and then Jesse's repeated it. lol have to start watching what i say at this age hey!

Ok going to make a cuppa.. both kidlets are asleep woo!

Im 2 tired to re do it after walking around display homes all day... got Lucas weighed today and he is now 5.66kgs, so the formula is making him fatten up!

Um we brought a new car today, pick it up thursday YAY!!!

Mez: No :( I didn't get into Ashlea's room at all today! After the Dr's I picked up Jayden and SIL and went out for lunch which turned into shopping and didn't get home until 3pm then I spent the arve on BB and outside taking washing off the line...will attempt again tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed your shepards pie! Woohoo on Izzy's stats!

Kell: I was wondering what was in Jesse's hand haha, those photo's are great...you have inspired me to take some of my 2 now....not sure that Jayden will hold Ashlea though. Jayden is in that same limbo period I think. SIL said "Oh $hit" in front of him last week and he repeated it....and I have dropped the F word once a while ago (I rarely say it) and he repeated it, luckily that one he never said again!

Zee: Don't you hate when you write a huge post and lose it?? I write most of my posts in notepad or word so I don't lose them now. Yay on Lucas' weight gain! and double YAY on the new car!! What did you get? I desperately want a new car!!

Got Jayden asleep by 10pm, I guess thats better than last night but still its too late! Ashlea is sound asleep. She is fussing with her feeds again but just thinking its the age at this stage. I might have another weigh in before we go to Melb just to be sure.

Tenny - sounds like you are doing a great job with Elijah. Toddlers need discipline, but they naturally push the boundaries. I can't remember who said it but the thing about being 80% teacher is pretty spot on.
Mel - yay for the BB meetup but bummer about the sunburn.
Sooo busy this week - I think tomorrow is the only day I don't have something on in the morning and the afternoon so it's going to be hectic. Hope Beth keeps sleeping through :pray:. I said to my dad today that she slept through three times in a row and he said "Babies don't sleep through the night, parents sleep through the night" PMSL... Made me laugh, but at the same time it planted a seed of doubt in my mind!

Kristy - I can't believe your DH works such long weeks!!!! OMG - I would die if I didn't get a break from the kids - you are AMAZING!!!!!! :clap:

Missy - Happy birthday for yesterday mate *mwah* I hope it was a good day.

Feeb - mine is a catnapper - so I don't get long breaks from her either :( 20 mins is usually her best sleep - and she has about three of those over the whole day (yes from 6.30am to 7.30pm!!) and then will usually fall asleep around 8.30. Last night she was so exhausted at the end of the day that she didn't even finish her bottle - she just passed out.. lol.. poor little thing... I hope he is good for you today

Tenny - I think you need to surround yourself with more supportive people - move up here ;) hehehehe

Kel - there is a block of chocolate in the fridge here - its my reward when I lose 10kg - have lost 5 so far - so half way to that chocolate!! PMSL.... And its sooo funny when they start saying stuff that sounds like the wrong things.. like.. DS will say truck.. but sounds like the "f" word... and he says clock.. but.. says it without the "l".. so he'll walk into a room and spot a clock and say.. "oooohhhh... big c*ck"..... PMSL... its sooo funny.... and gorgeous pics (of course) I really should get my finger out and take some of my kids like that, but we don't celebrate xmas - so may not be appropriate to have hats!! LOL

Belle - we give DD homeopathic drops - and we add those to the bottle. However when DS was on infacol we gave it to him just in his mouth - he never minded the taste. We figured that it was better than giving it to him in the bottle, because if he didn't finish the bottle - how would we know how much he got? So we gave it to him just in his mouth, either at the beginning, middle or end of feed (depends if we forgot.. LOL) Hope that helps!!!

SW - I've already said it - but woohoo on the house being sold!!!! :dance:

Well another ok night here - woke up at 1.30 with a coughing fit (damn this cold!!) and then when I went back to bed, heard little footsteps and Aricyn had gotten out of his bed and was running around in the hallway!!!! LOL... I made DH get up and put him back to bed. DD slept through again - but she has my cold - so is snuffling all night - so was a little unsettled but didn't wake up until DS had already woken us up this morning and crawled into bed with us for a morning cuddle (so cute!!!)

DH is at the dentist at the moment!!! Think he is getting some teeth pulled. He still has to go to work today too.. poor bugger.. hehehehehehe

Better get off the couch and stop DS harassing the cats :rolleyes:

Well my wonderfull babies slept through again last night! Oh so proud of them!!!

Tannis.. oh Jesse didnt want to hold Keira.. i had to bribe him with milk. Lol maybe you can find something that works for Jayden and bribe him lol. I just said to Jesse, Mummy will get you a bottle if you sit here and hold bubby... just kept repeating it. Only way i got him to smile was by waving a Moundain Dew bottle in front of his face lol. Haha oh im going to have to start watching my words too! DH doesnt swear at all.. well unless hes p!ssed and thats like once a year. Howd the kids sleep? Yep. Keira is fussing alot lately too. One day she'll drink 150mls every bottle.. then next it will be 80mls then 120mls then 70mls then 200mls. Yeh just think its a stage.

Kell - I so never thought about doing christmas photos like that. I love em! I might try and done some of the boys this year. LOL @ Jesse saying socks. DP's nephew used to say F*uck instead of some word. I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face. Elijah was pretty good come to think of it.
Re: discipline - I've been trying this out where Elijah goes to the naughty chair and I tell him what he did wrong,etc and then I ignore him. He always yells out or whatever when he's on the naughty chair and I'd say "The naughty chair is quiet time. Be quiet." but lately I've just ignored his yelling out and he hates it. It seems like it's a worse punishment for him. Also I've noticed when it's just us during the day, at home, he's generally better then when there are other people around or when we go out to the shops. He slept in a bit this morning too. YAY! I think he generally needs more sleep.

Tan - LOL @ Jayden. It's so hard to not laugh and set them straight when they copy bad words from us. I hope Ash stops fussing with feeding. When are you off to Melb??

Mel - I think I need more supportive people around me too. I basically only feel like I have DP here that's fully supporting me lately. My sister somewhat, she's more of a half-as$ed type of support. Lol. I really wish I lived up there or even like closer. I hope you guys get over your colds. Awh. Your poor DH, going back to work afterwards too. My DP did that last time he got a tooth pulled out... I did feel bad for him, but then I thought about it a bit more and realised it was kinda good so I didn't have to hear him keep whinging on and on and on about it.

I'm meeting my mum today. We haven't seen her for about 3 weeks, I think. Sometimes we see her every week, sometimes not for a few.

I think I'm going crazy. I thought I heard Bubbablue waking up, so I went to go get his clothes and all that jazz, only to find he's still sound asleep. Lol. I think I'm slowly losing the plot. Hahaha.

Good question - yes and no. The last house I sold managed to be sold by the end of the first open home! This house IS beautiful, so I didn't expect that it would take long for the offers to come in. We just didn't expect offers *that* good straight away! The offer that we have accepted was made about an hour after the first open on Saturday, but the agent wanted to hold off until the next open home on Monday. There was a stack of interest in the property and she felt that we could possibly have gotten more if we'd waited for more offers to come in, but these guys had their heart set on it AND the price was more than we were after - and I remember well how nerve wracking it was buying our most recent house in Adelaide. Once that personal investment is there it really makes you feel sick while waiting on answers! No point getting greedy when it had already exceeded what we were really after!

Now things are gonna get crazy organising the move to Adelaide =) The settlement date is a little earlier than we were after, but still do-able! People want to move into their shiny new home by christmas, so we'll do our bit to facilitate it =) Now I just need to find a nice rental in Adelaide to put MIL in so that we can move into her house while we build ours (her idea so that we didn't have to find a rental with the cats!) =)

AAAAwwwwww Thanks all for the birthday wishes.

I had a nice day. Went shopping just me and Liam, has lots of time looking around the shops, got a few things and layby'd the kids xmas pressies for xmas. Came home and Melissa made dinner (((pizza)))) ...oh bugger Liam just wee'd on me..lol... then had a girl friend come over, had cake that Melissa and Callum made and callum was so loud singing happy birthday. I woke up this morning with Callum next to me and he said " Happy birthday mummy....lmao.. I told him it was over and he said "NO" its mummies bday...heheh ok if you want but does that mean I get more pressies....lol. I got my pandora braclet , not the full gold as that cost about $1100-$1800 BUT THE silver one with the gold locket, abit niceer then the sliver one, that ive been wanting for a while with 5 charms, a little girl-melissa, a little boy-callum, a pram- Liam and a shiny ball - matt. My g/f gave me a dangley flower. I also got some scales and a blender. SO over all I did pretty well.

Ok yay on the new car zee, and woooohoo on the weight gain.

Kell thanks for your text hun was nice. Im cool with what ever you want to do. Just let me know.

Well I have been busy today rearranging Ashlea's room so 4 ppl can sleep in there, 1 in the cot, 1 in the single bed and 2 on a blow up matress...just got to wrap the xmas pressies and put them away. I baked a banana tea cake too, it smells delicious! No tasting until my friends get here though :(. I will be MIA until late Saturday, I may be able to pop in (on the iphone after everyone has gone to bed ;)) Oh and tomorrow I should be around as long as I get the house work done!

Missy- I got a pandora bracelet off PIL's last birthday & I havnt even wore it.. they look nice but I like my bracelet that goes to my necklace.

Are you donating your eggs? WOW that is fantastic! I was almost going to offer my eggs to one of my SIL's as they had fertility issues and the SIL that donated hers was getting too old to keep doing it (she was 41 at the time) so I was going to offer mine but then she fell PG naturally anyway. Its a huge decision to make I think! Do you know the couple?
