Back from getting Jesse all booked into day care for next year. Looks really good. He's running around in his new day care hat now lol.

Missy.. i was the same as Melissa. Was more mature than my age iykwim. Most of my friends were 18 when i was 15 and i was always a good girl. I dunno, call me whatever.. but i think now i am glad i was like that because i was smart enough not to make stupid decisions with my life iykwim. I was never into drugs or anything. So hopefully Mel is the same. Hehe re the dress. Ill prob do the same with Keira.. and i know Grahame will say the same as Matt.

Re: Heroes. I started to watch this season on tv now with DP but then realised RPA is on at the same time, so I'm skipping on Heroes now. My sister buys the seasons on dvd so I'll just borrow them eventually.

Tan - WTF @ that lady. The ladies here at the chemist tend to think they know everything are soooooo soooo nosey into everyones business. They ***** me. :wall:

We got Bubbablue weighed and all that jazz today. He's a whopping 7kg. What a piggie.
All good. We were in a really huge hurry so we forgot to ask about his head, but she didn't say anything when she measured it so it must be alright. I'm so paranoid about nothing, I think. Lol.
I'm a worrier... It almost makes me cry cause I can't stop thinking about it and then I think the worst. Haha.

Yeah kell im very lucky she is a good girl. I was so the opposite to her. I did all the wrong things....lol..bit im worked out in the long run.

Oh Tenny im so not worried aabout her. Im sure she will have a good time. Oh wow on the weight. What a little piggy...lol.. Liam and Callum both look like daddy but liam is alittle like melissa was at that age. But the boys are daddy all over. I dont see me in them at all but some ppl say Liam looks like me.

hi all!! jacob sleeping still stuffed last night 2200 till 0200 then 0300 till 0700 which is much better than other night 4 hrs sleep only!

went to gp re jacobs neck she gave me a pead referal but thought same as me re muscle tight. i told her i stopped losec as not doing much and he gets so distressed taking it and gags and chokes and spits most out and he still chucks anyway. She weighted him and he was 5380 grams so up 200 in 17 days shes happy but sai mchn may not be lol we dont go there for a bit longer!!!!

A bit manic to be honest, it's turning out to be a bit like serious work!

I've turned up right in the middle of the annual budget cycle, so I've got well over 2000 people wanting decisions on the strategy behind around $60m worth of projects in an industry and company that I'm new to... :help: :juggling:

It's nice to be able to play with Beth for a bit in the morning, and when I get home in the evening, makes the world seem a better place.

Oh feeb I think he is doing ok hun. I wouldnt worry to much and he looks beaut. Those photos on your face book are so fantastic hun. Im sure he will be fine. He is lovely!! Oh thanks yes im sure Mel is having a good time and I think she is pretty too.:)

Well Beth had her shots yesterday. She was pretty good, screamed a little but calmed down after a few minutes. She was smiling at the doctor by the end of it. She was OK last night, a bit grumpy and had a slight fever in the evening, but I gave her panadol and she's back to normal this morning.
Missy - great shots! your kids are so cute and Melissa is gorgeous.
Tenny - 7kg! he's a big boy! Good work!
Kel - it's great that you've found a nice day care for Jess. Have to start thinking about day care for DD for next year or what we will do when I go back to work :crying: I was talking to the mothers' group girls about it yesterday and its so expensive and the waiting lists are so long! :wall:

Well, crazy day yesterday but a good one. After Beth had her shots went for coffee/lunch with the mothers' group girls - went till 4pm! We are going to meet for Melbourne cup lunch too. What are you Melbourne girls doing for cup day? Had a friend over last night, Bear cooked dinner, and by the time I drove her home and fed DD it was nearly midnight!
Missy forgot to ask - is Liam still sleeping through? I got five nights and then broke my streak :crying: She woke at 4.20 Thursday night and 3.30 last night but at least it was just a quick dummy replacement and she fell back to sleep. O well - gotta love it while it lasts!

Morning!

Well not a nice night in our house. Jesse's sick. So no swimming today. Has a touch of the flu poor mite. Had a temp all night from about 6pm. Went to bed and woke up crying. He refused to take any Demazin or panadol.. demazin he spat out. Panadol i eventually got into him at least. He would only sleep in his big bed. So i lay with him in it.. he fell asleep. That was all good. He then woke an hour later and would only go back to sleep with me in there. And that just went on all night. I brought him into our room at 5.30am. He is just such a fiddler when going to sleep. So this morning he has a runny nose and managed to get him to have some more panadol. Best we dont go to swimming as dont want to make it worse.. its already freezing out.

Tenny.. Im just starting Jesse with 1 day.. see how he goes. No doubt he will love it (as he just LOVES kids) and ill see if he wants to go 2 days. Oh yay on the weight gain! My midwife says a chubby baby is a healthy baby! Keira is a chubba. I so have to get her weighed. I will next time im at a chemist! Oh re the head.. if you have a tape measure you can just do it yourself.. but it looks fine to me in all his pics. Hehe aww :hug: you silly worrier.. but i guess thats what us mums do.. i think its part of our job description or something ;)

I think i will with Keira just so we dont have to be in limbo when she wants to go. Oh nice re Melb cup.

Well just going to be a lazy day at our house today. The suns out so will make sure Jesse gets some sun out the back.. hopefully make him feel a little better.

Morning all

Well great night again in this house. Oh Pixie hun yes Liam is still sleeping through. I fed him last night at 8.15pm and DH got him up at 8am for a feed. He did wake at 6am but as he doesnt have a dummy he went back to sleep by himself. Its been almost a week now. Sorry for the brag..:rolleyes: I will wake him up for a feed if his last was say 5 or 6pm, I wake him at 10pm for a feed then back to bed but if he has a feed 8pm or later I dont worry about it as he will sleep through. Callum was in our bed at 7am for cuddles and Me and him got up at 8.30am.

Melissa was home at 11.15pm as she rang and said it was boring and she was tired and didnt want to stay. I went to pick her up and there was so many ppl there. Lots of the locals who 1/2 of them I hate and then there were some older ones. Im glad she rang as there would have been 70+ people there and there was heaps of drinking I did see. So she was happy to come home and I was glad she made that choice.

Oh Im glade Beth was ok with her shots. Isnt it heartbreaking Pix. Liam has to have his 2nd shots on the 2rd Nov not looking forward to that.

Oh kell sorry Jesse isnt well. Keep him warm and see if he will have something with lemon in it. That might be abit hard....lol... I find lemon helps me. Do you and the sydney girls want to go to the park out at richmond on Wednesday. Callum woulld love to see some planes take off and would be nice for him to run around.

I'm yet to read through all the posts properly but Tasia huge :hug: for you hun I know EXACTLY how you feel RE lazy partners. I was running around yesterday between J and A plus had visitors and I'm sick and Chris was sitting in the media room watching the Gaelic (sP?) footy! He said "yeah but the footy is on, I wanted to watch it" but there is always something on that he HAS to watch plus he told me 2 days ago that we was flying down to the Gold COast this morning for Indy....Ummm bit more notice would have been nice or an invite for me and the kids! So I'm stuck at home while he goes off and has fun with the topless waitresses his mate hired! Sorry thats my whinge over!

What a hooooooot one here in Melbourne. I hate it lol. My day was quiet one stayed indoors. Hubby did the gardening.

Tannis- Oh dear don't you just hate it when they tell u last minute. My hubby is going to Vietnam on the 27th Dec & returning back 7th Jan. He is going for work. So yeah he won't be here for NYE. In a way I wish he was here for NYE & in a way I'm glad he's going the house all to myself lol. My sis will stay with me cause sometimes I get scared at nite I know I'm a big baby but I feel unsafe if I'm home alone, so my sis she is staying with me but not on xmas day & NYE & New yrs day.

Everyone must be having a great weekend....or at least a busy one!

I'm not too bad here on my own but I went out to my niece's last night (her parents are away) with the kids and I made sure all the doors were locked before I left (usually I don't worry if they are unlocked) cause I knew I'd be home late, once I am home though I'm not scared unless I'm watching a scary movie haha. Thats good you have your sis to stay with you!

Missy: You're lucky you have a good girl! I wasn't a very good teenager haha I hope Ashlea is like Mel and not me haha. Thats great Liam is sleeping through for you....brag away I say haha its great hearing what other babies are doing.

Feeb: If Jacob is looking healthy and alert I wouldn't worry about the weight. MCHN told me last checkup that at 3mths their weight plateau's and they dont gain as much, so 200g in 17 days would probably be fine...You're doing a great job! As far as his sleep goes, Jayden always had a great sleep pattern when he was little but just as I got used to it he'd change it. Jacob could be starting to teeth which can disrupt their sleep...just know that he will get over it and sleep through again for you.

Pixie: Beth handled her shots ok then? How did you go with it? What a busy day!! Hope Beth starts sleeping through again for you!

Kell: Hows Jesse? Hope he is feeling better!

I had a great time with my friends here, her 2 girls are so cute!! It was a shame I was sick the whole time although it didn't stop me from doing anything. I did pretty much lose my voice though. We went out Fri night for dinner and the kids were in the play room and there were older kids in there throwing the cubes (for sitting on) around the room and hitting each other with them and beanbags so I had a go at them (me with hardly any voice haha), told them there are little kids in here and what they were doing was dangerous and if they want to crack their heads open when they hit the wall or floor to go ahead but not while our kids were in there. I told them I'd get the manager in if they kept it up PMSL I felt like such a parent!!!
Gotta go....hope everyone is back tomorrow!

Kel - I hope Jesse is better. DS crawled into our bed this morning and he was so hot, I could tell he had a fever. :( We gave him a shot of nurofen and panadol and it brought it down a little bit. We sent him to day care today anyway - cos he's happy to go there - but with strict instructions to call us if he gets worse. He's not sick - its his bloody teeth!!! Driving me mental.

He also has the worst nappy rash I have ever seen - its blistered and everything!!!!! Damn molars!!! arghhh :wall:

Tan - I'm glad you had a good time with your friends - and you total mum you.. LOL... I'd do the same thing mind you ;)

Morning all..

Well Jess has made a meraculous recovery! Yesterday his nose stopped running and today he seems back to his old self.. even slept through the night. So we're having a home day today just to make sure.. but looks like he only had a mild version of the flu luckily.

Mel.. oh poor thing.. those molars are killers arent they. Jesse has his come through when he had the gastro so made everything twice as bad. Ive found Papaw cream the best for nappy rash and the blisters.. what do you use? Oh how many days are you working?

Tannis.. lol.. you go girl! Ive had to do similar to some kids.. i think it was when we were at a play centre and the reply we got was "youre not our parents" and "you arent the manager" when we said well we'll go get the manager they shut up and left. But glad you had a nice time out.

Tasia.. ohhhh hun i can so relate with the DH thing. Mine is the same. Im sick of saying to him can you put things away! He'll get something out of the cupbard to eat.. say a pack of biscuits.. takes what he wants then leaves the rest in an open packet on the counter... and the cupboard door wide open. Im forever saying can you put things away! He said he would make me some pop corn yesterday. Got the box out unwrapped it and put it in the microwave. Once it finished i said well are you going to get it out of the microwave.. so he did. Later when i went into the kitchen, there was the box of remaining popcorn packets and the plastic he unwrapped mine from on the bench. Like can you not put it back once youve finished or in the bin. Does my head in. With Keira and Jesse he will do things without complaining, but only when i ask. Its just a PITA that i have to ask. lol sorry for my rant, but hun, i know how you feel. :hug:

been MIA for a few days too.... really busy. we ended up staying in the blue mountains on saturday night cause the Bear's uncle offered to shout us a night in the Carrington Hotel. It was really nice but it made for a very hectic weekend! We got to meet up with one of our August Baby Buddies so that was good.
Kel - good to hear Jesse is feeling better. Amazing how quick they bounce back isn't it!
Tan - the Bear and I so want to slap your DH!! We'll have to come visit sometime! Hope you're feeling better.
Missy - great that Liam is sleeping through! even better that Callum usually does too. Beth usually sleeps from 11 to 6.30 but sometimes she doesn't.
I've got such a mountain of housework to do today but it's been so difficult cause DD has been a right little cranky pants which is not like her at all. She might be still unsettled from her shots on friday or maybe she is just exhausted cause it was a pretty full on weekend.
BTW most of you have probably seen it, or seen the photos before but I finally put photos of Beth on Facebook .... I've been wanting to do that for ages.
Well, better go and get stuff done - she has just fallen asleep in her rocker.

Oh DH and i are thinking about getting a Wii. I want the Wii fit so i can lose some of the rolls Keira left me. Does anyone have one? DH has an Xbox 360 but all the games on there are fighting and im not into that.. i like the cutesy type games lol.

We sold our house for sufficiently more than expected that DH said to me "why don't you take another six months off to be with Alyssa?". So looking like I'll be extending my maternity leave. I seriously married the right man ;) Think I'll keep him. How many sleeps until new zoom zoom now? All these peeps buying mazdas makes me miss my little zoomzoom - but you can't fit a baby seat in an mx5 (kinda need a car with a back seat for that)!

Speaking of - we hired a prius in Adelaide the other week. PMSL - there's a warning on the sun visor of the driver seat that baby seats should not be placed in this seat due to air bag hazard. Personally, I would have been more worried about them driving or possibly distracting the driver ;)

Kellxx - the wii fit is pretty cool. Ignore the weight measurements and stuff on it - they have a tendency to tell people that they are obese when they seriously are not, and have been known to seriously insult some peeps! Overall it's pretty fun, and kids tend to really love them. They're also being used in retirement villages to encourage better fitness and dexterity. You will probably have trouble getting a turn on it when Jess starts to figure it out (just make sure you're there to catch him until he finds his balance!)

waves to everyone else. Prolly be a bit quiet again while dealing with all this moving shtuff!! Been a little more active on the bengal cat forums of late trying to figure out the best way of moving my little leopard - she HATES being in the cat cage unless it involves play (usually hiding inside in wait for one of the other cats to come walking by so she can ambush them).

lol.. yeh we'll be having another little tacker. I was unsure during labour if id go through it again until i had the epidural! lol. So yeh next time ill take one of those off the bat.. and being Keiras been such an easy baby has also convinced me to have another. Im just enjoying her being a baby so much. Ive always wanted 3 kids... Dh says however many i want.. lol but unless we win lotto ill stop at 3. If we did win lotto i would definately contimplate having more. But its not going to be for a little while yet.. i'd like Jesse to be in school first.. DH wants a similar age difference so i guess thats sometime after August/September 09.. somewhere in between then yeh we'll go for number 3. I seem to be VERY fertile so i dont think it will take long to conceive (Jesse i was on the pill and Keira was first go trying-even with a cut off before O ). I would like a boy next so am contimplating if i should give the "boy recipe" a go or just see what happens. Either way ill be happy anyway.

hello! Its been a while; we have had so much on.

My mum had a leg reconstruction last tuesday. it was pritty tough on her. they said 1/2 the muscle had come away from the bone and needed to be reconnected. she was only surposed to stay 1 night but she didn'r take it as well as she hoped and had to stay 3 nights. at one stage the 2nd day they couldn't get her to respond. she had very low BP and low oxygen levels, she said she could hear them but couldn't speak or move, VERY SCARY. she is home and ok now just in pain and needing help, she can shower and stuff just has trouble making herself lunch, weashing, etc, because she cant stand up too long. i have been spending the past week there.

the kids are doing well, sebi has been doing rasberrys today. i don't think he relises he is doing them but he is still cute.

not much else happening here.

ok didn't relise how late it was better help DH with dinner.

Well not much happening here. Just looking after the kids and trying to get the house fixed up at the back so it looks nice and tidy for summer.

Geeee it was so hot today. I was going to go in the pool but changed my mind. I thought id have a bath with the kids instead. It was nice and cool and Liam was kicking like you wouldnt believe which made Callum excited and splash more. The nice clean bathroom is not so clean now from all the water. Ill have to wipe all the walls down...lol.

Kristy hun sorry about your mother. Wow it sounds so painful. Poor thing. I hope she is back to herself in no time. LOL @ Sabi and his bubbles. Very cute. You up for Wednesday at the park???

How are you all? how was your weekends? We looked a a place to rent on Saturday a house so fingers crossed we get it, wonder how long it takes for them to notify? So many people looking at it about 16 couples, not sure how many with children as I was the only one that had a baby with me (Julia was at Nana's).. so fingers crossed girls! Do you think they are more likely to give to a family cause they will stay longer or give to double income no kids??? We went to the beach on Sunday and the toddler pool at Dee Why it was great! then had lunch with mum and some friends. Julia's suffering from seperation anxiety at the moment, its quite difficult sometimes, my heart broke for her today when I dropped her off at daycare :( she grabbed my leg and said mum mum stay and then when I left and drove off she ran the gate of the outdoor play area saying bye :(

ok i'm back, just not sure for how long the twins are restless tonight, i think because we haven't been home much with mum out of action and all that.

Missy- did you get my sms? I cant do wednesday we are going to playgroup in the morning and than i have to be at mums by 2ish my aunty will be there till then but as she cant stand properly yet i will go over to help her out strait after Play group, i don't think she should be left alone yet.
Can you do friday instead?

Ree- more babys!! this is it for us! i would like more but when we calculate costs its just not fair to have more. we can afford 3 and still have a good life. i want to take the kids to disney land, send them on all the cool school excertions, buy them fashionable clothing etc, we just cant afford a good life and more kids my DH and i grew up knowing what it was like to miss out on things so we don't want the same for our kids. as kell said if we win the lotto it might be a different story. tho i HATED being pregnant so i would probably just buy them (adopt). actually i dont know if i mentioned it but when we were having trouble getting PG with Isaac we started to research addopting contacted a few places, it is so dam expensive we were looking into China and it was gunna cost about $40,000 per child. OMG! thats why i call it buying a child.

Hi all

Well not sure if ive told you all this but after my BIL's lung cancer op they went to the doc about the cemo. He will be starting it soon but has to have another op to see what is happening with his bowl. Yes Some thing has come up in there too. So he will have that op soon, ( I thought it was Wednesday but not real sure) then I thought it was next Wednesday, but anyway its all happening soon. The doc told Sister that he is going to be real sick, lose his hair and will have it once a month for 4 months then have radiation. Donna came home and looked up on the computer the servival rate for the type of Lung cancer he has and it was only 1 - 15% chance in five years so that really isnt good. Total f*cken sh*t if you ask me.

To make things worse, My sister rang me this morning while I was on my way to take Callum to school and her best friend that has been stuggling with Breast cancer for 5 or so years, Just past away. So we all very sad today, im sad for Nadeine that was her name and for my poor sister who is just going through hell.

Im going to do a blog soon for prayers for my Sister, Sisters friend and BIL if you would all like to read a take part in it.

If A's bottom is getting too bad can you just give him nappy free time outside for an hr or so that way you can put other cream on if you want and it won't get on the nappy. Stupid Dr.....You're better off talking to MW's I think they understand better. Hope A is ok anyway.

Happy 3mths to Tara, Keira and my beautiful little princess Ashlea!!! Can't believe how quickly its gone! Got Ash weighed today, she is 5.77kgs. She has gained 200g in 2 weeks, which isn't ideal (should be 150g per week) but MW said she is looking great and developing perfectly so there is no need to worry.

Well I'm off, I'm still sick (not too bad now but its annoying), got a headache, SOOO tired and I still have to pack all of our bags, except for Chris's he can do his own haha

Tan - thanks babe!!! I hope he gets better. DH doesn't want me to take him to the doc again until his temps reach about 39 or 40 - at the moment he is sitting on 38, and has been all day. Its been a rough morning. And i agree - let Chris pack his own bags. Have a great time !!!!!!

I'm sorry I've been MIA lately. Finally I have some time to post. It's like everytime I go to sit down to either watch tv or here, at the computer, someone needs/wants something. DP can't seem to do anything by himself really, so I have to be involved in everything. :rolleyes:

Bear - Great to see you again. Wow. They sure chucked you in the deep end, aye. Yeah, just being with our kids makes everything seem to disappear if only for a short time.

Pixie - Yeah, I was so shocked about Haydie being that much. No way would I have guessed that much, he was just under 6kg when we were there last weeks ago. It was a suprise. I'm glad Beth's shots went ok. The time flies by so fast between when they get the needles. I can't believe Haydie is up to getting his next ones in like 2wks.

Kell - Lol. I think worrying heaps is part of our job description too. I know i can't help it. I was actually thinking today and measured his head myself too and she didn't even do it properly anyways. How silly is that. I hope Jesse is better. OMG @ your DH with leaving the cupboards and drawers open aswell as the rubbish on the bench, and I thought my DP was bad, but he's only a smidge of that. Why are they so lazy? Mummy did everything for them, ya reckon?

Tasia - That's great that your sister is going to stay with you. I get freaked out if I'm home alone overnight. It's weird, aye. If your DH doesn't start helping, just do everything for yourself and your DS, so he has to do things for himself. :hug: Hope you're feeling better.

Look after yourself... and I wouldn't be packing his bag either. As for me..
It's like I feel like I've had no time for me. Everything is for everyone else, etc... so today we're just staying at home and doing NOTHING.
At the moment Elijah is watching Finding Nemo quietly and Haydie is sleeping in his swing. Fingers crossed it stays quiet for a while longer.
Hayden has been a bit whingy lately and just wants to be held. The heat isn't helping either. He's also starting to be a sooky, like if someone else holds him he'll be ok at first but then it's like he realises it's not me and drops his bottom lip and starts to cry. Lol.

I went to a friends Hens night dinner thing on saturday night. It was mostly good. Alot of people didn't turn up, which I think is so wrong, but it shows who your real friends truly are.
Anyways, the bride-to-be's SIL was there. She thinks she's so much higher and better then everyone else. She basically just sat there with her back half turned to another girl, just scoffed her salad down then left cause she had other plans.
I thought she was rude and a super sk@nk to start with, butt she decided to but into this conversation I was having with this other girl about our kids and she goes to me "You have kids?! How old are you?!" I tell her and she's like "I didn't think you were old enough to breed." :o
We were all stunned.. like who says that?????? The word 'breed' makes me think of animals, especially rabbits, ya know. She said it in the rudest, b!tchiest way.
Maybe I don't look my age, fair enough, but she could have said it nicely and in a different way like, you know what I mean.

Anyways, I'm rambled enough. Sorry it's a long one.

Didnt realise i hadnt posted today yet.
Jesse has been in such a mood today. Didnt eat breakfast or lunch. Took his vitamins and some panadol for his runny nose though. Found him falling asleep at his table for lunch so put him in bed. He had a good 2 hours sleep. Woke up and had a fruit bar and a smoothy just now.. but is still in a mood *joy*

sw.. yeh Jesse likes to "pretend" to play xbox with daddy.. but he gets bored after about 10 minutes. Yeh i wouldnt say i was obese.. i just want to tone really. Im the right weight for my height. Thanks for the info though.

Mel.. lol who knows! But yeh i reaaaaaaallly dont want another too soon. Though in saying that Jesse's just going to get older and more independant.. so we'll see ;) hehe yeh i so want one!

Missy.. im sorry to hear about your BIL. FIL has lung cancer (i think i told you).. his hair has thinned on the chemo but he didnt lose it. He did get very sick however and lose alot of weight. We use to compare our belly sizes when i was pregnant! Now he could compare to me again and we'd still be similar. He was given 12 months to live and has gone 9 months past that now.. so anything is possible. Hes also on a different form of treatment now as the chemo was making him too sick.. which is in the form of a tablet that he takes once a day. Some new treatment. Where abouts is your BIL going for treatment? I think FIL goes to Napean. Will be praying for him for you though. Re babies.. well i guess you never know what the future holds hey!

Belle.. good luck with the rental. I have no idea how they choose. Perhaps just a combination of who was first and rental hystories?

Tannis.. omg has it been 3 months already?? Thats nuts! to think another 3 months theyll be on solids! :o

Well Isabel and I are back! We had a wonderful time in Auckland and we were both very spoilt. Had a great time and really took advantage of having Izzy's grandparents around they loved having her and she didn't disappoint them giving them lots of smiles and giggles.

Oh and the big thing that happened was that when I put her on her belly she now gets up on her knees she just hasn't learnt that she needs to move her arms too :clap:

Tenny.. Have i told you lately your boys are gorgeous!! Well not today at least! Keira drinks diddly squat! Shes lucky if she finishes 150mls and shes a porker! But in saying that.. Jesse was a garbage guts and would drink as much as you would give him. I think at this age they just eat what they need... and you are probably right that he is probably going through a growth spirt id say. Thanks hun.. i hope so too! :)

Zee.. yeh i havent actually looked at any games. Am waiting for a sale to come on. Target's toy sale starts in 2 weeks and i think theres one at kmart this week so will be checking it all out. What are the doctors saying about lucas forever crying? Surely they can do something?
