Hey Mel.. when Aricyn had his ear infection was he sicK? as in threw up? Jesse seems ok now. Still has a runny nose.. hes asleep on the lounge atm.. hes had a dry biscuit to eat and has been drinking the gastrolite. He has a moon tan like me so he looks pale all the time, its hard to see sometimes if he is really sicky looking.
Ah yeh i hear you way too late! But like you said maybe he just doesnt need it.
Yeh im unsure of what to do with Keira. My only thing is, shes still on 5 bottles and come her last bottle, no matter what time i give it to her, shes then awake now for an hour or so. Even if i try and dream feed her, shes waking up. So i dont know if it will work, but im thinking of trying to cut out a bottle and start the solids, this being give her her last bottle about 8pmish just before when she usually falls asleep, then not wake her again before we go to bed. Hmmm.. might give it a go.

On hair loss OMG my hair is everywhere doesnt help that Jacob pulls at it lots grr!!!
Before preg I used to loose a bit, during preg basiclly nothing but now its making up for it!
Well He is offically being the worlds worst sleeper! waking soooo many times over night and when put back down waking anywhere from immediatly to 2 hrs later. He is not having proper feeds is snacking lots and no matter what i try cant get him to feed for longer he hest distracted even if we r in a silent dimmed room grrrrr. he is very grizzly irratible and clingy!!!! and guess what i am irratable and grizzly also!!! for last 5 nights he has ended up in our bed from 4 am ish and i am soooooooooooooo sore as i dont move once he is in bed with us and my hips are still stuffed from pergnancy.

Kel - nah he's not a big chucker - much like me and DH - we don't really vomit unless we have gastro. Could be the temps though? If he has a high temp, then he might vomit because of it? I know that can happen to some people.
What else was I going to say? Oh yeah, Miss M always wakes up when we give her the 10pm bottle, like she'll be all cheery and cooing and stuff. I think we are lucky though, cos we just put her in her cot and she puts herself to sleep and we fall asleep in bed around that time too - usually at 11.00ish? We wake her at 10.
DS is sitting watching some mouse thing on nick jr - with chocolate all over his face (we took him grocery shopping, the milky way was a bribe to be quiet. lol) and is now eating a crossaint and having some milk. We have rice milk chilling in the fridge cos we thought we might try to put him on rice milk instead of cows milk. Apparently it can help sleeping patterns and temper tantrums - we are willing to give it a go!!!!!

Feeb.. oh dear silly Jacob. I wonder his hes teething. I know we use to have hell nights with Jesse when he had a tooth coming through. Hope he snaps out of it soon and you both can get a good nights sleep.
Mel.. hmm dont know about the temps. He didnt have one this morning when he threw up is all. And the temps he had were only kinda mild. Yeh, we're the same in this house.. this is the second time hes thrown up in his life.. other time was when he had that bad gastro. I havent thrown up *touch wood* since i was about 16 or so (lol too young for alcohol!)
Ahh miss m sounds the same as Keira. Thats what she does.. wakes and coos and squeels. Except she wont put herself to sleep unless shes tired.. otherwise will have a battle with her hand taking out her dummy! :rolleyes:
Oh my dad drinks rice milk.. think it suppose to be better for you? Dad has alot of high blood pressure problems and think he drinks it for that?

Kell awwwwwww poor jes. I have no idea what could be wrong with him. Sorry he threw up too knowing how you are with the sick thing. Always the way, happens when DH is not there and its up to you. Has he settled??
As for Keira, how did she go. Did you start on the solids. Liam is now on 3 meals a day ( farex in the morning, custard for lunch and atm potato and carrots for dinner) he loves it well sort off not real keen on the potato etc. He is only haveing 3 bottles a day of 250mls and will drink at least 200 but most times its the full 250. He is getting really fat. Well I think so. He has dimples in his legs..:lol:. Nope kell no hair falling out to much unless I straighten it.
Hey feeb oh you poor thing. Now I know its going to sound sh&t what im going ot say but you really need to stop him in your bed as he will get use to it and you dont want it. With the feeding, I know your tired, but use a dummy and stretch it out for 4 hrs. Ofter 150 - 200mls, evern if it takes a hr to give and with in time it will work. I had to do that with callum for about a week. Good luck hun!!!
Im having the same problem as you Arimeh in the sleeping. If Callum has his day sleep he is up to 9 + and its driving me in sane. The last couple of days he hasnt been having his sleep but its hard keeping him up past 4pm, he wants to sleep so we have to quickly feed and bath him and he goes down about 6 - 6.30pm now but is up pretty early. Well in our bed about 5am but most times he will just lay there and wait for me to wake.

missy he wont take a dummy and he is breastfed so who knows how much he is drinking!! we have figured out we have a bad month then 2 good weeks etc!!!

Feeb - honey if you want him in your bed, you keep him there ok? I don't think it will cause too much of a problem later on - I think its more that you do what you can to survive each day when bubs are unsettled. This shall pass, all bad times do. He won't be doing it when he's 15 :)
Missy - yeah, we have to do fun activities with him and give him lots of attention for him to get past that magic 4pm!!! He usually crashes then if we let him - but we've made things too much fun to go to sleep, books, drawing, playing with toys (easy when DH is home on holidays so I can still do stuff around the house!!!) I think it also helps that I have a really easygoing baby as well. He goes down around 6.30 - DH is about to put him to bed now while I go cook dinner. I luuuuurve eating my dinner with no child attached to me!!!!! ;)

Doctor has been and put him on antibiotics. Said his ears are a little inflamed and the green mucus warrants the antibiotics. So hoping it solves our problems.
Yes.. decided to try Keira on solids.. she laughed and smiled the whole time! Cheeky bugger! So yeh most of our photos of her with her first solids are her laughing. But yeh she went fine with them.. chewed it down and was all good. So going to slowly up it each day then move the farex to breaky and give her some veges towards the end of the week.

Missy.. thanks hun. Well i definately need help for my anxiety i think as i was shaking and a wreck after he threw up. Even though DH explained to me look i made it through ok and it was all fine.. still doesnt stop my mind freaking out. So am going to see my doctor now next weekend when DH is off. Need to get the joyful pap smear done too :rolleyes: Yep he seems alot better this evening. Hoping hes on the mend and it doesnt rear its head over night :pray:
Callum sounds like Jesse. What time would he normally have his day sleep? We tried cutting Jesses out and like you he was falling asleep come 4pm or at the dinner table every night. Im trying to get him to sleep around 11.30am these days.. then he has lunch after he wakes. Some days it works, others it doesnt.
Hehe little porker lol! Well he has to be bigger than Keira and atm i think shes winning on that.

Yep Arimeh he is on the go all day and then at about 4pm flakes out...but we are getting there. Think I might cut it out as he is almost 3
Kell hun how cute are the photos. she looks so funny. Yes I was putting callum down at about 12.30 -1 after lunch but then he will sleep till 3 or 4 and then not want to go to sleep at night. Oh well have to see how he goes. Oh I think Keira will always be fatter then Liam. The fat couple...heheheh:lol:

Evening all,
Well we had a lovely Christmas day at my parents house. Isabel was very spoilt and my DH and I were excited about our Wii. Oh and my IL's got me a Heavenly package which was lovely I was pampered for 3 hours on Saturday it included a back massage, facial, pedicure & manicure. Isabel just loves pumpkin tomorrow I'm going to start her on carrot.

Hi girls, sorry I have been MIA, just spending lots of time with family ATM. We went to the zoo today for the 1st time since "Mary" the Emu died, Jayden said he wanted to see her when I told him we were going and I just said she's not there anymore....he didn't ask anymore questions.
OMG glad I'm not the only one losing heaps of hair! Its so annoying!!
Feeb: Ash is starting to wake at 3 or 4am lately for a feed, not sure whats going on there but I guess just go with the flow. Hope Jacob sorts himself out soon!
Kell: Poor Jesse hope he's ok

Although in saying that, I went to Target Sat arve with just Jayden and he was an ANGEL!!! Couldn't believe I didn't have to chase after him, ask him to come back, pry him away from the toy dept! He held my hand or the pram, I even bumped the pram into a shelf and he turned around and said "are you ok mum?". We went to the supermarket after and he was really good there too but he kept asking for sauce biscuits and I didnt know what they were, he said I have given them to him....I think he means Jam tartlets...:dunno:

Xmas was pretty good, didn't eat much thank god! Haven't gained any extra but then haven't lost any either :rolleyes: Ashlea got a heap of clothes, toys etc so did Jayden. Jayden's favourite was a dinosaur torch that "Santa" got him.
Will probably be MIA a bit this week too, gotta organise my house for some special visitors on the 2nd Jan ;)

Ooow silly me forgot Keira's twinnies.. HAPPY 5 MONTHS TO ASHLEA AND TARA!!
Well the night wasnt too bad here. Jesse woke up before we went to bed moaning.. started me with the trembling and tears but he was ok. Slept through until 5am. DH got up for work then.. Jesse mustve heard him and he was calling out to go wave daddy off. So we've been up since then. Am ok atm but know it will hit me later and will need sleep. Luckily DH will be home around 3pm today.
Tan.. good to see you hun and hear you had a nice Christmas. Oh how cute sauce biscuits. Yeh id prob say thats what he means. Oh how sweet asking if you were ok. Jesse does something similar where he mustve picked up on me saying sorry when trying to get past someone. Now he always says sorry when we're trying to get past someone to that person or even if its a box in an isle. So cute arent they.
Mez.. good to see you and hear you had a great christmas. Oh woo woo score on the pampering! You definately deserve it!
Well we're just home today.. taking it easy and hopefully continuing to mend for Jesse. Oh kids are a worry i tell you. Reminds me i need to book an appointment on Friday for the doc. DH has the day off so will get me dreaded pap smear done at the same time :rolleyes:

Wow. You ladies chat alot.
I'm a little slow off the mark today. Had a rough night with Haydie last night. He didn't actually fully wake up but like every 2 hours he'd start thing whinge/moan kinda noise so I'd get up and put a dummy in his mouth. I'm not sure what's going on with him. He doesn't seem that off his normal self though. He sometimes sounds like he's losing his voice when he cries or whinges. :dunno:
We've just been really busy the last few days. Out for the whole day and then get home late at night. Just doing the family thing while my cousins are here.
and Haydie loveeeeeeees his Jolly jumper that we got him for Christmas.
Uh.. There he goes again.. his half whinge noise causehe's got no voice. :(

Well im happy to say Jesse looks like hes on the mend hooraahh.
We just went up to harvey norman as DH wanted to buy some new speakers for his computer. Was nice to get out of the house for a bit.

Um.. has anyone heard from Zee? Ive heard shes split from her hubby and is moving back to her parents in the country? I hope everythings ok.
