    Morning lovelies,

    Happy 6 months Beth

Pixie - yes yesterday at MG we had our Health nurse visit us cause she has moved on to special needs and we wont be seeing her anymore anyway I asked her about Izzy waking during the night and she asked what am I feeding her. I told her that I have reduced her milk feeds to 4 and she said oh no they need their milk so I have to put it back up to 5 bottles a day including her solids. So starting today I gave her milk at 8:15am when she woke, cereal at 9am, and so on.. fingers crossed that works. One good think she also told us that you can give them chops the bones with a little meat on them very good for their teething apparently. I hope Beth starts sleeping for you again too.

Kristy - woohoo on the twins doing so well, I have seen some pics of them and they have grown up so much they are adorable.

Kell - I hope your cake works out I can't wait to see it!

Mel - we understand that you're busy when is your new website available?? Oh I hear you on the sleeping issue, maybe its just the age cause there are a few of the bubs that are currently doing it hey.

Missy - woohoo on Callum having another dry night what a star!

Tan - good to hear that your relos are all safe, so sad what is going on here in Victoria I feel for everyone of those families that have lost everything.

Tenny - good to hear that your MIL are safe too, very scary these fires hey.

us - not much new here, still waking during the night and I still don't know what is causing it, I do feel for her though cause it's not only us not getting a restful night but Izzy too.

has anyone given their bubs a pillow to sleep with, I'm only asking cause as soon as we put her in our bed early this morning she pretty much put her head on her daddy's pillow and fell asleep ASAP. I don't know if I should get her one or not??

A BIG to everyone I've missed.

Just a quickie to say Mez, she slept through last night! She cried once but she went straight back to sleep and I didn't even get out of bed Not sure if she was just knackered from her swimming lesson (that really tired her out) or if it was the extra BF time I gave her, but making sure to give her extra BF time today and it continues! Hope it works with Izzy too!

Mez - yeah DD is still on 5 bottles a day here. Pillows generally aren't recommended till they are in a toddler bed , just cos of the SIDS risks. Oh and hopefully website will be up and running soon - Sunday is opening day though

thepixie woo hoo on beth sleeping last night, fingers crossed it continues. Happy 6 months Beth

Ayapi hope izzy sleeps for you soon, i know how you feel. Hope swimming is going well for you!

Missy hi there hope all is well with you guys.

kristy J glad you had a good day with kel, the twins sound like they are doing fantisic!!!

Well whats news for us! n Gymbaroo is great fun he likes it, swimming is also lots of fun he didnt mind getting water in his face or having face dunked so thats good.
We went to Pead appt today re his head tilt, all good she thinks he is much improved and showed me a few ways to hold him to stretch the muscles in neck so dont need to go back till august (was going to be 12 months but she will be on mat leave so wanted to see her again not a locum)
in relation to solids she said to just keep perservering and offering things.
Sleep wise we have had a few good nights followed by a few nights of taking ages to settle and stay asleep. still feeding once a night occasionally 2 if he goes down early.

I am still horrified watching news and seeing the loss and sadness of the fires, so glad no where near us, but hard when you know people who know people etc.

Hello to all those i missed

    Howdeedoo..

Just popping in while im waiting for House to start.

I pulled a muscle in my back and neck today.. wiping Jesse's bum of all things!!!! lol. Dont ask me how but i just put his legs back down and ouchyyyyyyy pain. Now i feel like ive slept funny and have a stiff neck!

Mez.. i gave Jesse a pillow i think when he was about 14 months or so, because he would use his blankets as a pillow. I know SIDs recommends not to give them a pillow until over 12 months. So its totally up to you i guess. Thanks hun re the cake. Yeh i hope it works out too lol. It should. Im pretty confident with it.

Pixie.. yay on Beth sleeping through. Hope she does the same tonight.

Feeb.. oh good to hear Jacob is picking up on his head tilt. And that hes loving gymberoo and swimming!

Zee.. wowee congrats i didnt think you were going for number 3. Hope you have a good pregnancy.

Mel.. oh thats a bummer about the settling. I know how you feel had the same with Jesse. Hope she goes back to her old self though. Cant wait to see your store.

Kristys boys are so good at their eating. Sebbie looks like a little man sitting there taking a bit of his biscuit, sitting and chewing it down, then taking another bite. Rather than just sucking on the thing. Clever boy. He needs to teach Keira a few things lol.

Oh BTW theres a baby sale on starting at Big W tomorrow for those who need anything.. a whole lot of winter stuff.
Have an appointment to review my tablets. They seem to be going great for me.

Ok Keira crying .. have a good night all.

    CONGRATULATIONS ON #3, Zee!!!!!

Sounds like Lucas is doing fantastic. Wow @ 7 teeth. That's awesome!! I hope you're doing well.

We're on 4 or 5 bottles a day here, too. Lately it's been mostly 5. He's a gutsy little fella!

    ok i'm back.

he wanted a nappy change, he wont sleep in a wet nappy. and i dont blame him.

Arimah- rockmelon!good idea i have been trying to think of something eles to give them after their dinner or lunch.

does anyone know how long you can keep cooked carrot in the fridge for?

Ayapi- we give chop bones here they have only had it once as they get meat a couple of times a week now. hopefully more milk will help her to sleep. and now that i think about it Isaac was having about 4-5 bottles still at 12 months. and now at almost 2 he has at least 3-4 cups of milk a day, he loves it. as far as the pillow goes isaac was probably 14 months when i gave him a pillow. 12 months is the sids recomendation age. he used to sleep well in our bed with a pillow too.

Zee- OMG....wow....congratulations, I also didn't know you were going for number 3. but i do miss a lot on here these days. hope it goes well for you.

kell- yep sebi is funny when he eats. man they ate so much tonight a jar of food then 1/2 a bananna each and a buiscuit each. what little piggies. and considering how small sebi is i don't know where he puts it.

well might go lay down again seems like budda (aka Caleb) has gone back to sleep and isaac hasn't made a sound either. and im cold now too. yay i hope winter comes back soon.

    hi to all

    Hi Everyone

Just wanted to jump on and say hi. I haven't been on for a couple of days and there is so much news!

Mel - Congratulations on your store! I can't wait to have a look at your online shop. Best of Luck mate!
Zee - Congratulations hun. Hope you have an easy pregnancy and that you get all the support you need.
Kellx - Just in case I don't get back on BB over the next few days, I hope you have a beautiful naming day for Keira.
Ayapi - Lulu loves sleeping with a pillow as well, but I only let her drift off with it then move it away. I hope the sleeping thing gets better soon. We're going through restless nights as well and i know how exhausting it is. My DP is working really long hours at the mo and it is a struggle to get through such a long day with a tired baby on my own.
Kristy - Wow! your boys are so good with their food! I think it is going to take a long time for us to get to that level.

We are still on 4 or 5 bottles a day here but she's getting alot better with breakfast and will reach out for our toast or fruit. Any other time of the day though she won't even touch solids. I can't believe how strong she has become all of a sudden. She's pulling herself up into standing on her own, sitting, rolling and doing the crawl. Her crawl is pretty funny though - she puts both arms out at the same time and then follows though with each leg. She looks like a butterfly-stroke swimmer on dry land! lol.

Better get on with the day.

Big HELLO to pixie, tannis, tenny and anyone else I've missed.

    Have a great day.

Hello ladies, i'm lurking but not posting much....I'm sorry, I'm getting a little down and nervous as I am going back to work soon, I feel like I have wasted the time I have had off and now its nearly over!

Zee: OMG!! I couldn't believe it when I saw it on FB! Congratulations.....3 under 3 you brave girl!! I hope everything goes well and you have a smooth pregnancy!

How much milk are the bottle babies drinking now? I have to start preparing for when I go back to work

Anyway I'm off to make mug cake, chris is so addicted to them (and i bought dark choc bits to put in it )

    morning

Just quick. sebi is drinking a bottle, isaac playing cars and caleb is still asleep.
I love that my boys hold their own bottles now much easier.

Tannis- when do you start back at work? will the kids go to care together. Isaac is in pree school on a thursday and i hope the twins will join him in july. lol than its golf thursday for me and DH (DH has thursdays off too)

all you mummas who have gone back to work are champions. I went back after Isaac and hated it. I found that working and being mum was harder than having 3 bubs under 2. HEHE i'm going to avoid work as long as i can. lucky for me with the cost of daycare and all our other commitments for the boys (ie swimming lessons etc) i should be able to avoid it for a few years yet. or maybe forever if i'm lucky. but i'm lazy when it comes to work. my mum keeps saying "don't you need something else in your life" and i'm like nope i'm happy to stay home forever. maybe if i get bored i would do something easy just to socalise.

MArjella- the boys are doing great thanks. they are so different to Isaac. DS1 was still on mash at 12 months he just couldn't eat hard food at all.mind you he was 1 when he got his first tooth. all babies are different.

bought a new double stroller yesterday. its a childcare one from big W on sale. i still need my giant tripple for long shopping trips (its an adventure bugggy tripple awsome pram but huge) but this one will be good for short trips where isaac can walk.
also laybuyed some clothes for the boys just some hoodies and stuff. im going back for an oshcosh hoodie i saw in big w i should have gotten it but didn't its so cute.

well its raining here...bum.. hopefully it will clear by tomorrow. hopefully if it clears a little i will get a chance to put the wood shavings on my garden i have been trying to get done for ages.
and i better get my but into gear the naming day is in a month.

    catch ya later

    Morning all,

Kristy - wow your boys can eat, I struggle to get Izzy to eat her dinner at times but other times she eats so much. When is your naming day??

Tannis - when do you go back to work?? Oh I don't know when I'm going to go back I personally want to stay home until the little one goes to school if possible, or at least work part-time only a couple of days though. Plus I want to have another one real soon.

Maj - I hear you on doing it on your own. I feel the same way cause my DH really does try to help but really just plays with Izzy. Although saying that this morning he did keep her occupied for me cause I was up with her all night.

Mel - I'm with ya, I really don't know what my little one isn't sleeping either I hope she gets back into sleeping through the night it's very tiring.

Kell - good luck with your appointment sweet. Hope your back & neck feels better today for you. I'm taking Izzy to my parents today so that I can go to the Big W sale without her will be quicker really lol.

Us - well last night has to have been our worst night, I pretty much was up from 12:30am till 4am then I put her in bed with us and she played for a while before finally having a sleep until 5:30am so today I'm am very very tired.

Okay a BIG to everyone that I've missed. I'll BBL

    Howdy there,

Have been baking cake and decorating cakes all day. I decided to do the whole thing today as i had the time to. Baking didnt take as long as i thought it would. So have finished Keira's cake!!! Well, im just waiting for the fondant to set a little harder (prob by morning) so i can stick in the hearts. But man i am soooo impressed with myself. Her cake is awesome. I absolutely love it. Exactly what i wanted and its turned out so good. Will take some pics tomorrow for you all once i can get those heart stuck in. Youll see what i mean.

Think i have everything else ready. Picked up the balloons and helium today. Have made a collage frame. Will show you that shortly soon. Printed up a banner. Um. A photo for the candle table. Burnt the cd with her songs on it. Think ive done everything. I just hope this rain stops. I dont think its going to by Sunday. At least the IL's (where we're having it) have a huge undercover area.

Mez.. oh dear. I hope you get a better night tonight hun. Thank you. Yeh the pains are still there a little but alot better thanks. Of all times to pull a muscle, when youre wiping a bum lol.

Tan.. aww hun. When do you go back to work? Time just goes so fast doesnt it. Keiras having 3 bottles of 200mls (plus the formula powder so prob makes it about 220mls?). She wont drink any more than that. Shes having 3 meals also. Shes always been a small eater.

Majella.. haha awww cute re the butterfly. What a sweetheart. Good to hear shes going so well.

Kristy.. lol theyre boys.. wait until theyre teenagers! Theyll be eating you out of house and home!

Well think im gonna go to bed. Swimming tomorrow.. brrrrrrr its cold now the rains set in.

    Nite nite

    xx
