Hi hayseed and kate!
Lewis and i are doing great! It was a bit hard for me when i first had him as i had a big bleed during labour and was left very weak and anemic.
Lewis started walking just after 12 months so the last few months have been very busy with me running after him!
Just been to the park as is it gorgeous outside and now it is my fave time of the day ----when he is asleep! :)

Welcome back Sara :)
Woooooooooohooooooooo for Kelse, that's awesome Kate :D
Vanita- OMG my heart skipped a beat too, I thought you were going to say he'd been hit. Naughty girls, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. How lovely of that lady (well anyone who didn't bring him back would be an a$$hole) and lovely of you to take her some choccies and a card.
Sorry I haven't been in here much, it's just so slow going with the dial up :( Dammit to hell.
-
Hiya lovelies,
Kate, are you still waiting?? LOL
WTG MISS KELSEY !!!!!!!!!!!
Bec, yeah i had dial up until about 6mths ago ( very frustrating) hope they get a free spot soon.
Sara, hiya its amazing to see the little people emerge out of our babies hey.
Hiya Hay.
Well we got our new couch yesterday ( not as big news as DIon trying to kill himself) everytime I turn into our street ( luckily a fairly quiet court), I can picture him standing there. Today I went with my mum, sis, aunt, granma to the windsor for arvo tea ( chocolate indulgence) well we ate so much Im not having dinner tonight LOL. Its good though coz my grandma is 88 and hasnt come for a visit for a while, so she came back here, and got to see the kids, so that was nice.

Brooke – Congrats on setting a date for your wedding, how exciting! Is Maya going to be the flower girl? Having accommodation at the same place is a great idea and your guests will be able to kick back and enjoy themselves without worrying about driving home. I will check out Karri Mia at lunchtime. Perth and WA is so beautiful! We would probably take Amy with us if we got married now. We still haven’t left her with anyone not even for 5 minutes. So I’m not the best person to comment on whether you should take her on your honeymoon but I think most people will say not to take her especially if you are TTC # 2. Thanks for the advice for formula. Amy is eating okay again. I think I panicked a little early with this one. I’m sure you will look back on your wedding and be glad you spent the $$ on a special day, although you don’t need to spend lots of $$ to have a great day. My SIL has now lost almost 30kg in TF, good luck with it. Poor little Maya falling off the change table. I’m sure she will be fine. I haven’t thought of babies getting cold sores and I’m not sure what you can put on it apart from Vaseline. I get them and they are horrible. I wanted to send you an e-mail but couldn't find your e-mail addy in your profile.
Bec – Hope your new place is going well. IKWYM about dial up, it is bad. Hugs to you with stupid dial up. We can’t get cable where we are now but can get ADSL which I should organise soon. Can you get ADSL? I am mainly on BB at work as home is soooo slow with dial up. I have some cute pics of Jonah which I will e-mail you when I work out how to reduce the photo size.
Vanita – OMG about Dion being on the road, my heart skipped a beat when I read that. So glad he is okay. That was nice of you to take her some choccies. Thanks for the tip about the multivitamin, we will look into it. Yum afternoon tea with chocs sounds divine and spending it with your grandma even better. Yeah for the new couch!
Kate – WTG Kelsey for taking steps and saying Nan, Nan, Nanna. How cute giving hugs and kisses. Great news that your mum and dad will be so close. Thanks for your advice about the baptism dilemma, it really helped. We are all thinking of you and I hope you are in labour right now!
Bel – Poor little Coby! I’m glad he is getting over the virus.
Rach – Hope Viv enjoyed her camp, you are so sweet making her and teddy PJ’s. That would actually be a good business idea to make matching kids and teddy PJ’s. That’s great that you can get into sleep school!! Although it seems everything is falling into place with Blake’s daytime sleeps. Sleep school sounded very helpful. 7.3kg on TF wow!! Congratulations and well done. Yes it is cute when Amy stands at the fridge and says ‘cheese cheese cheese’ but she does it whenever she finishes her meal as well.
Hay – LOL at the halter training. Cows can be so hard to train...not that I really know I had horses for 18 years but DH’s family rented a house and looked after cherolais (have no idea how to spell it), herefords and scatty angus cows and they were mad. I used to show my horse but hated it because of the BS that goes with it. Hope you enjoy it though, did you breed the ones that you are showing? That would make it that extra bit special. Good luck!
Deb – Hope you are feeling better and your DH had a great birthday. How is the house hunting going?
Welcome back Sara
Well I still can’t bold or change my mood at work. Brooke and Rach, you were asking about Amy’s TT. She has only done it twice but every time she wees on the floor she points at it to let us know. We haven’t been doing it much and will start doing it every day when the weather warms up. We have been looking for one of Amy’s sneakers for a few days. DH has been though the bins in case she put it there. Well he found it today finally. She had put it in the box where her other shoes go. We looked everywhere but didn’t look there! Last night I put Nemo on TV and Amy loved it. She was saying ‘Shish shish shish shish’ for about ½ hour and she loved it. She came and sat on my knee then on her little chair and she was clapping hands. DH doesn’t want to TTC this month as he said the only time we DTD is when I am O **sigh*. Still behind in study and have spent all day so far catching up here rather then finishing my assignment. I am going to Sydney tomorrow and be back Wed so I really want to get my assignment done today. Have a great day!
-
Vanita- Thanks sweets, me too :) Wooohooo for your new couch, how fab. Awwww poor you thinking about Dion being in the middle of the road :( Mmmmmmmm yummy at your afternoon tea and sounds like you had a lovely visit with your grandma.
Gemma- Yeah we are trying to get ADSL and that's what they have no ports for apparently. Thanks for the hugs, dial up is so very frustrating, that's why I'm not around as much as I used to be and want to be. Bugger about DH saying he doesn't want to TTC this month, I hope you can change his mind. I hope you got your assignment done.
Brooke- I'm sorry I haven't caught up with your wedding news, I promise to do so as soon as we have good internet. But congrats on setting a date, and did I read correctly your going to TTC #2 soon? Wow, everyone will have 2 or 3 kids by the time we go again, pmsl.
-
Gemma, yeah we have bred the cows we are showing. We have a closed herd, so all cows here have been born here. No bought in cows since the early 60's.
-
Hi girls, been absent again because Im STILL not getting replies to this thread. Anyhow....
Hay, how is the clomid going? Not coming from a farm background, how do you go with "inbreeding" if they haven't got any cows coming in, or is there enough that it wouldn't happen, and how do you control which bulls breed with which cows??
Sara, great to see you back in here, hopefully you will come in more regularly so we can keep up to date with what you and Lewis are up to...
Brooke, poo to the coldsore, poor little possum...Hope you get some good answers....Your wedding sounds lovely, good on you for not being tempted to go over the top, so many people do and make it all about the wedding day, and then once they are married and the gloss has worn off, the rot sets in. Its not about the wedding day, its about the marriage....
Is Kate still around?
Rach, thank you for the wishes about the metformin, thank you for acknowledging it, its a huge deal for me and Im just glad that someone noticed...xxoo How is Blake going??
Wow KELSEY, good on you little possum for walking!!
Vanita, that would have been so frightening, you poor thing, they can get away from you so quickly huh, but to have the girls leave the door open for him must have frightened the life outta ya! At least he's ok...
Not much news here, Coby is getting better, but I think he has sleep apnoea, he has one of those angel car monitors and it goes off a lot, and last week when he was sick again, it was going off every night, without fail. Im pretty concerned about it so off to the drs again tomorrow. I think it has something to do with his tonsils, the Westmead book that I have here says that sleep apnoea can be caused by enlarged tonsils obstructing the breathing, and the last time Coby was sick the dr looked at his tonsils and said they were "quite large" so he will probably have to have a tonsilectomy eventually. Vanita, do you know anything about this procedure??
Apart from that, he is trying damn hard to cut some more teeth, and they just aren't coming through, its so frustrating, for us and for him....
-
Bel, I should clarify the closed herd status. It means no live cows bought in. But we AI (artificially inseminate) all the cows and this year, the heifers too. This year, for instance we used about 25 different bulls over our girls. These bulls mainly come from USA, UK, Netherlands & Australia. We chagne the bulls every year and detailed pedigrees are kept on each cow to stop increeding. We have a senstivity % of 4% inbreeding allowed (which is like putting a great, great, great, great grandsire over a cow). DH does the bulk of the inseminating...I do some, but I'm not usually around the dairy at the right times...well not now (with Pup) anyway.
So tell me...what is an angel monitor? I haven't heard of them.
Brooke, glad to hear the cold sore buggered off. Yukky things. We don't get them and I am really conscious of people kissing Pup.
-
Hi all,
Just a quicky to say Blake's sleeping terribly at the moment - probably another tooth but it's exhausting all the same. We've got sleep school on Friday - I can't wait. I hope they can help us.
Viv's being an angel so I'm very lucky cause DH is working so much in the lead up to being away again for 8 days. As long as we can DTD I'm happy (OMG do i have the energy for another pg???) I must be crazy.
love to all, and LV's to Kate.
xx
-
Good luck tomorrow at sleep school Rachel, I hope it does the trick  :)
-
Best of luck with the sleep school. Hope you get some good techniques to help you and Blake.
-
Hi everyone. Major slacker here, I have gotten so behind....I have been constantly tired this pregnancy and Al takes up every waking moment. DH is working all the time still so I'm just not in the mood to write most of the time. Hope you all can forgive me and I'll try and catch up now.
Rachel - hope u find some answers at the sleep school.
Kate - great news your folks have found a place so close by! Super Kelse is up and about now. Pity the sleeping isn't going so well. We have ups and downs still with Al, but it is a lot better now than during the first 12 months.
Brooke - wedding plans sound lovely and romantic. My friend got married recently and they took a week away for their honeymoon, while their son who is same age as ours, stayed with the grand parents and it went very well. They even accidently fell pregnant.
Hayseed - thanks for the mention of coming to visit you. We are still behind with booking things. I am having a slight freak out now about the long flights with Al and being so pregnant, and I think we are going to book a third seat for him. It increases our costs a bit, so we are not sure if we will do the Adl- Melb leg now. Rather book a flight once we're in Australia and do a trip spontaneously if we feel I can handle it.:)
Bec - poor you on dial up, it really shouldn't exist it is so bad.
Bel - how are those teeth coming along? I'm sure Al is going to only ever have 6 teeth at this rate. Poor little Coby and the sleep apnoea.
Hi Heather! How is it going?
Hi Sara - welcome back!
Hi Vanita - managed to fill that fridge yet? How is Dion? You poor thing must have had a heart attack after discovering he was out on the street. Bet you won't be letting him out of your sight for a while now.
Gemma - househunting is going terribly. It is depressing, as there is nothing to even choose from.
Hope I didn't miss anyone..
We had a first hour at day care today. Al cried on and off the whole time...I nearly cried too, he just seemed so overwhelmed by it all. We are going to try again tomorrow for an hour. They want him there 4-5 times a week. I think 1-2 a week max...so we are not yet on the same page.:crying:
Good news is my mum will be here next week!!!!! YES! Just for 4 days. She is doing a stopover in between Cyprus and Berlin...which is a work trip. So I can't wait to see her and have a familiar face around.
-
Deb, IKWYM about worrying about the long haul flight. We still have not worked out what we are doing about going to Holland in around March. I put off the planning a while back because if I fell pg when we thought, I would have been due in March. Obviously I couldn't have gone then. But no pg yet means that the soonest a baby will arrive ion our household will be at least July next year, meaning that a trip in March is now do-able. We were originally going to get a couple of seats in Business class (one we pay for and one we get on FF points) but it is looking unlikely atm. So we are also thinking of buying Pup a seat and having 3 seats between us all. He'll sit on our lap mostly anyway, but at least we will have the added room.
BD fest still on the go here......although we are supposed to be DTD today, but DH is cutting silage and is going to be on a tractor ALL day and most of the night. Not much chance of it happening.
We tried to alter Pup's day naps yesterday. He has been having an hour in the morning (11 - 12) and then about 2 hrs in the arvo (3 - 5). His mornign naps are good (he wakes for the day around 8am), but when I put him down in the arvo, he tends to play in his cot with his stuffed toys for about 1 - 1.5hrs. Then he falls asleep 30 minutes before he has to get up. Then he is REALLY tired and a bit cranky ('cause he's just gotten to sleep). So I thought that perhaps he only needs 1 sleep during the day and that i would bring his arvo nap forward to about 1.30pm. Well, it didn't work. I kept him awake all morning (grumpy baby) and then he fell asleep in his highchair eating lunch at 12.15pm. I sort of kept him away till 1pm and then put him down. He slept till 3.30pm. So i think he really does need 2 sleeps......he'll just have to play in the arvo int he cot. At least he is having a rest rather than going at full tilt like when he is up.
-
Hi Everyone,
HAyseed - I have recently put Lewis onto one sleep and it took a week or so for him to get used to it. He now sleeps from about 12-3 and he has lunch around 11am.
Maybe you can try giving him lunch a bit earlier and he may last?! For me i have to keep him busy in the morning so he doesnt fall asleep too early but its been worth it as he sleeps for a good 3 hours.
Kate - Oooh good luck! I cant wait to hear the good news....Hope kelsey is feeling better so she can enjoy seeing the new bub.
Sunbeam - that must of been hard seeing Al get upset at daycare...im sure he will be excited to go there soon, just has to get used to it. Nice that your mum is coming over too. ...what we do without our mums!
Rachel - hope all went well with your sleep school.
Hi to everyone else.....sorry im at work so my replies are limited!
All is good with us ....lewis slept at my mums place last night and i had an uninterrupted night of sleep.....bliss!!
Its a scorcher today in sydney....a taste of whats to come im sure.
Ive been thinking about getting one of those baby pillows for Lewy's cot ...what age do they normally start to have pillows? Im hoping it will encourage him to sleep more in the one spot rather than all over his cot!
-
Kate- Yep we are still on dial up and yep it's driving me mad. We have ADSL by next week though, fingers crossed. No I'm not hugely worried about a lot of you girls having more bubs before me, however it would seem the baby bug has bitten. Ben and I talked about it last night and we've decided that earlier is not off the cards, which surprised me so we're going to see how things go. So looking at maybe TTC late next year or early the year after :D
-
Everyone seen the birth announcements???
WTG KATE, congrats Kelsey on becoming a big sister.
love to all.
-
Yay Kate great job!!!! Congratulations Again!!
-
Congrats again Kate!
Just aside- we had a horrendous 24 hours with Al. I wrote a bit about it in Childrens Medical Conditions. But the short of it is we now know Al is prone to suffer from Febrile Convulsions. That is when his temp gets too high his body starts to fit. It is a shocking thing to witness. It is not going to effect him in any way, and apparently he doesn't know its happening when it does..but we need to treat him very carefully when he gets a high temp from now on.
He's home and a lot better today.
Hope you all have a good weekend. We have a bit of cleaning up to do before mum arrives on monday.
-
Congrats again Kate!! Well doen. I'm sure I guessed a girl?????????
Nothing much happening here.....DH just finished the first lot of silage, next lot due in next couple of days. Bding happening when we can due to him being on a tractor all day and night.
-
LOL Brooke at Kate posting that. Wow at Maya being so clever!
Hay, hope you got some bd in another time. It is quiet in here ATM, I haven't been around much due to work.
Hey Brooke, I wanted to send you a message/e-mail. Can you please let me know how I can do that? I think I mentioned it in my last post.
Deb - I am glad Al is better, what a shock for you.
Rach - How did sleep school go? Hope you had a great birthday.
Hope everyone else is well. Just a quick post from me today. Have school tomorrow but will catch up soon.
-
Hi, just a quick update.
Al is still in hospital with pneumoccocal. We hope to see some blood results today that will show he is responding well to the antibiotics so that we can go home. We haven't seen the lung xrays, but apparently a nurse here has seen them they looked fine.
Can't wait to go home! Mum arrives today so it will be good to have some extra moral support around.
-
OMG Deb, I must have missed this. Poor little Al, I hope he gets better soon. Big  to you all.
-
Deb, hugs to you and Al, hopefully the Ab's are doing their job, and that he's home and misbehaving any day now.
-
*hugs* Deb. thinking about you and Al. I'm sure the anti's are kicking in and he'll be home before you know it. I'm so glad your mum's there. It's great timing.
Kate, Congrats again sweetie. I saw you did a post this evening. Surely you aren't home already? Take it easy. Can't wait to see pics of your sweet little Rylee.
Hay, I so totally understand the husband MIA when needed for BD. My DH has been working his butt off, so he's either exhausted or not here. *sigh* I hope you have some success honey.
HI Gemma, how was your trip? Nice to see you back. Try not to work too hard.
Sara, welcome back. I don't think I've had the opportunity to offically say that yet!
Hey V, where have you been hiding lately? You been getting all the crappy shifts at work or have the kids just been keeping you busy?
Brooke baby, thanks so much for your sms. I was up sorting Blake out and i just had to come online and check on Kate. I didn't want to miss her news. How's things with you. I see you're looking for work options. I hope you find something suitable.
Hey Bec, how's Blake's twin? have they got your a port yet for your ADSL? Wish I could wave the magic want to get it for you.
Well sleep school was an interesting experience. To cut a long story short, I left there with a bit more confidence in settling Blake and letting him settle himself. We haven't had much luck so far. Last night he threw up he was crying so much and tonight he just spent his time screaming and head butting the cot. I'm really struggling with it and with John working the crazy hours, I'm getting worn out. Also at the beginning of our first TWW. Not that we got much BDing in with John's hours but who knows... When I fell pg with Blake almost instantly I got really sore bb's. Tonight they're a bit tingly. Not sure if I'm reading too much into it or not. Guess it's going to be a long two weeks.
Not much other news. Had a lovely birthday yesterday. Was woken up by Viv with breakfast in bed which was really sweet. Then had a few people over for an impromptu afternoon tea which was lovely. Didn't get the sleep I was after from Blake but 2 out of 3 aint bad... Ask Meatloaf!
Best I do the dishes now - had to wait until Grey's Anatomy was over.
Sweet dreams to all.
BTW Deb, is that finally a new avatar? It's gorgeous honey. :D
-
Rachel- Jonah is really well thanks. Although he has been getting up earlier than usual which results in him being in a big crank by mid morning and needing a nap, which is usually a long one which is totally abnormal for him. They really love throwing spanners in the works don't they? I'm so glad that you feel more confident in settling Blake. Hooray for the sleep school in that respect. Sorry you haven't had much luck thus far, I guess all you can do is persist and try not to drop your bundle. Good luck with your TWW, I hope it's successful.
-
WB Kate!! I couldn't believe it when I saw you around last night. I thought... gee she's either online in hossy or she's come home early. Ouchie for your tear. I hope it doesn't hurt too much.
What a woman you are too, shopping for 4 hours today! The newborn photos sounds wonderful. Did you get them done for Kelsey when she was born? I can't remember that far back.
Woo hoo for Miss Rylee. Glad she's going well. I'm sure she'll sort out her day & night sleeping soon. Bummer about the vomitting thing. It was one thing I was glad about with Blake as Vivi was a chucker. She would chuck from one feed through to the next, yet still gain weight!
How's Miss Kelsey taking it all? Is she accepting she has to share her Mummy. I'm sure she's a wonderful big sister. :)
Not much news from here. DH got home at 1.30am from work - just after I'd settled Blake. He'd been awake crying and I got him to settle and be happy in his bed. Then we both heard the bike come home. It was very sweet cause Blake was calling out to John when he heard the bike - he knows what his daddy sounds like. Bummer it unsettled him again. Then once I got him settled Viv got up for the toilet and it started all over again. I'm hoping by the time John's home from Qld - 28/10 - that Blake will be sleeping through the night. Wish me luck!
Trust all are well.
xx
-
How cute of Kelsey to hold Rylee's hand :)
Haven't posted too much about sleep school Kate as it was a pretty poorly managed day on their behalf. I kept getting the short straw when it came to being looked after and made note of that in my exit survey - which I was given to complete before I'd even had a 'going home' program set. At least it gave me the confidence to let Blake cry/complain a bit when he's in bed. It taught me to listen to his cries a bit more.
-
Welcome home Kate :) Good on you for getting out and about already, kind of makes you feel a bit more normal doesn't it? Well that's how I felt anyway, hehehehehe. Poo at having another chucker, I hope it's not long term. Awwwwww at Kelse holding Rylee's hand, that's soooooooo cute.
Well we got exciting news today, Jonah's going for a photo shoot tomorrow for Target. So excited, even if they don't use him he still gets paid, but I hope they use him :D
-
I posted in your Woo Hoo Room thread Bec, but I'll say it again cause it's worth it...
WTG Jonah!!!
-
Ok time for me to try and catch up on you lovely ladies. TBH I have read your posts, but it seems to try and reply is difficult.
Kate, again congrats :happyforyou: , sorry to hear she is a chucker, hopefully that settles down in time for you, IKWYM about coming home asap. I loved getting back to my home. How beautiful of Kelsey to hold Rylee's hand. ( Dion and Rianna do that too) Its heart melting hey. I love the idea of 3 day old professional photos ( always stuff you wished you had done ) for the tear, ouchies
Bec, woohoo Jonah, well done ( we always knew you were gorgeous, now target knows too LOL) all of mine are up at the crack of dawn too, CANT WAIT TIL DAYLIGHT SAVINGS , of course that only lasts for a while, then in the middle of summer its crack of dawn again.....
Rachel sorry to hear that sleep school wasnt very successful, but yeah sometimes its hard to remember a cry is a way to speak, and all cries are different. sounds like you had a challenging night. fingers crossed for the tingly BB's
Deb, hope Al is well on the road to recovery and you are home from hospital, and resting up. Have a great time with your mum.
Hay, some days I wish my Dh was MIA.... LOL nah jk. Good luck trying to dtd. fingers crossed and lots of babydust your way.
Gemma, g'day gorgeous, hows the world treating you????
Brooke, awww Maya is such a gorgy.
Bel, hope you are well and happy.
Sara, hope oscar is behaving himself for you.
HAPPY BDAY FOR YESTERDAY RACH..............
Well we are all fine, am just running around as usual with the rugrats.....ballet, swimming, playgroup, youthgroup, they have a better social life than me, LOL. I hope you are all well, and life is smiling at you.
mwah
-
Hi girls, your'e all so sweet with your thoughts and hugs. They have been well received here..actually feels like I have you as hospital visitors when I check in here.
We are still in hospital. They reckon he will be given the green light to go home on thursday now. I am beginning to accept the whole thing a bit better today than other days. But the relief is its not a permanent illness and they reckon he'll be 100% before long. Its been good to have mum here too.
Sorry can't catch up with you all now, but just good to read your posts at the moment.
-
Deb- I am thinking of you and Al. Hospitals are not always the nicest place to be and Al will be home soon. I am sure he is taking it all in his stride and being a very brave little boy. Take care of yourself and your little bubba in your belly. Please don’t worry about doing personals, we are all here for you and want to hear about how Al is going. I’m glad your mum is there with you.
Kate – Welcome back! I am so excited for you – you have two babies!! Has it sunk in yet? You are amazing walking around for 4 hours! Sorry to hear about your tear, I hope it heals soon. What a gorgeous girl Kelsey is holding Rylee’s hand. When are you going to put some pics on her website? I can’t wait to see a pic of her. Sorry, don’t mean to rush you…I will wait until you have settled in. What day are you going to the Expo? We are going on Sun but we may go on Sat now because my nephews b’day party is now next week. Danni and Tracey are going on Sunday.
Rachel – At least you got something out of sleep school. Sounds like they were a bit rushed and didn’t make much time to spend with you and Blake. How many babies were there? Bummer about John working so much ATM, I hope you caught the eggie this month. Good luck!
Hay – How are you, best of luck this month! I hope you managed to get your DH off the tractor for some BD!
Hi Brooke – I love the new photo of Maya on your ticker, she looks so grown up. How are your wedding plans going?
Vanita – Thanks for the name of the dentist, I will make an appointment. How is Dion going? You have such a busy life, LOL at the kids having more of a social life.
Bec – Yay for Jonah! Good luck! Are you on ADSL yet?
Bel – How are you going? How is the acupuncture going?
Heather – How are you, hope the m/s has gone for you. How is Hendy?
Hi Sara.
My trip to Sydney was good. Amy went to playgroup yesterday again and had a good time. She was not overwhelmed like the first time. She also went to one on last Thurs too but DH will attend the Tues one each week. She is also eating normally again and even ate chicken yesterday which was good for her. If she only has a nappy on and no pants, she just takes it off now. Her speech is getting a lot clearer. The latest is getting in and out of her highchair and pram on her own. Last night she climbed into her high chair as the tray was off and asked for cheese! Very cute. TWW again for us. Charting this month for the first time since Amy was born so it is not so hit and miss. Fingers crossed it works.
Have a great day everyone.
-
Sorry ive been MIA but the m/s has been horrendous, although touch wood today ive been ok!
WELCOME HOME KATE!! You sound great! Cant wait to hear the whole birth story! Sorry to hear about the tear, hopefully it will heal quickly for you. Cant wait to see photos of Rylee :)
Deb - im so so sorry to hear of Al being so sick. I hope that you are coping ok. to you and Al. Keep us updated if possible.
Gemma - good luck with the TWW hopefully there will be a lovely suprise at the end of it.
Bec - yay for Jonah the little model star!! Cant wait to hear how the casting goes!
vanita - hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
Rach - bummer that sleep school wasnt all it was expected to be. Hopefully things sort themselves out soon.
:hello: Hi Brooke and Hay hope all is well for you both.
Well Hendrix is doing really well at the moment (hope he didnt hear me say that as im sure it will come back and bite me on the bum!!). His sleeping is brilliant and he is progressing in leaps and bounds. He has become really cuddly and lovely and im just really enjoying him. He even got a new tooth without any upset this time which is so suprising as usually we have a week of hell for every tooth.
Gotta go have a nanna nap :)
-
Just a quicky. I went and had a look at my sleeping boy. I'd heard him settle himself down without crying (Yay Blake) and throw stuff out of his cot. Well when i looked in at him now, there are 6 dummies on the floor and his 'little bear' beanie kid bear Viv bought with him. Guess he wanted more 'space' to settle! LOL
Oh yeah. after taking a while to settle to sleep last night @ 7.30pm, he stirred at 9.30pm, 11.30pm then not until 7.30am. We may be progressing! (But I didnt' say that out loud! Shhhh!!!)
-
WTG Blake, Miss Kelsey may have to start giving him kisses ( Dion was offering, but I dont want to yuck Blake out LOL)
Heather that is great that Hendy is a bundle of joy ATM, Its great when things are running smooth, and its wonderful when they fill you with joy. Sorry the ms has been horrid, hopefully you are on your way out of it.
Gemma, wowee I have to be honest I think you are in for a child prodigy there Amy is just so advanced in so many ways. ( though Dion only climbs out of the pusher and high chair, not into them LOL)
Better go get ready for school pick up.Wednesdays if Dh is working is a shocker, as Jazz is from 6- 645 and so we dont get home til 7-730 and I have to go to work at 830, so its run run run,..... love to all
Deb, good to hear that you have a discharge date planned, it means he's definately on the mend, I hope the hospital system there is supportive, but great that you've had your mum as a ahoulder during this trying time. How bubsy in utero???

Ooooh shhhhhhh but tiny woooohooooo for Blake :D Rachel, that's fabulous, everything is still crossed :D
Well as I said in my other post, Jonah didn't get picked. There was another little boy the exact same age, born on the very same day even, who was smaller than Jonah so they used him instead. But as I said in the other post I got very positive vibes from all of them so I won't be surprised if they do use him somewhere down the track.
Gemma- No, no ADSL yet, but hopefully in the next couple of days, we haven't gotten anything that says no you can't have it so we are trying to stay positive that we will get it soon.
Not much time to catch up with the rest of you, so I will just say hi and I will hopefully pop on tomorrow.

Hi girls, just a real quick one from us,
Just wanted to say Brooke, WOW at Maya saying her 1,2,3's, she's so clever.
Deb, OMG, you must have been so frightened when Al started to convulse, you poor love and poor little Al, he's a little fighter, I hope he's home with you soon, sending my cyber hugs to you honey xxooo
Hi to everyone else, sorry I have been reading but keeping up with you quick typers is just impossible!! tee he he!!
Coby and I are great, we went to swimming yesterday for the first time since last term finished, he was fantastic, actually kicking his legs and moving about with his arms, very clever boy!
Things are going well with him, but not so great with DH, he's really been cranky lately, he goes through these phases (like a woman!!) He said he had the craps because I was whinging about Coby some days when he got home, like if he'd been difficult during the day etc, umm don't know whether any of you agree or not, but because we've got them full time, doesn't that give us the right to whinge about them every now and then?? I mean, its us that has to deal with the day to day stuff and aren't we entitled to be tired and have a whinge now and again?? Let me know what you think...
Also, what's everyone elses bubs doing in relation to day sleeps now? Coby still has 2 sleeps and I think he might be pushing to go to one sleep? Not sure how old they are when they do this?? Any suggies??

Hi Bel, sorry your DH is cranky. I think it's perfectly normal to have a b#%ch about your day wherever you 'work'. If that means having a few words to say about a co-worker who you've had to spend time with, then so be it. If that 'co-worker' is your child you're spending all day with... yep perfectly normal in my book. I hope DH 'gets over it' and supports you a little more.
How's Al doing Deb? Been thinking of you heaps. Hopefully he's coming home today. I'm sure you'll be so pleased.
OMG Brooke, how clever is Maya counting? And even OMG Gemma, how about Amy climbing and asking for cheese. You two have very bright girls. Although girls do get the words thing a lot early than boys. Are any of the boys talking that much? Blake's certainly not, yet Viv was like Maya and Amy when she was little.
Kate, how's your little family? Kelse better start putting some lip balm on her lips to soften them up for next time we see you as Blake's had another good sleep last night.
Vanita, I'm sure Blake wouldn't really care who gave him the kiss (Daddy might though). Blake takes great pleasure in giving his friend Noah a kiss goodbye. Actually he takes great pleasure in giving most people a kiss goodbye but Noah is probably the only boy who I suggest he kisses. Noah is a couple of months younger than Blake and is his 'baby friend'
Hi Sara, Heather and Hay.
Bec, sorry that Jonah didnt get in the catalogue. Hopefully next time :crossfingers:
*quietly* Well as I said, Blake had another pretty good night. He went to bed about 8pm cause we were disorganised last night. Then he stirred 40 mins later, then again at 11.30pm, but once I settled him he's stayed asleep. He's still asleep now the little champion! Lets hope we sort the early evening out too. :)
BTW Bel, Blake sleeps one sleep during the day, usually around 11.30/12 until 2.30/3pm. It's usually about 3 good hours. He's up in the morning by 8am and in bed usually 7.45pm. I hope Coby makes the transition easily when you change his sleeps.
All for me for now. I've gotta hit the shops today to get stuff for DHs business trip. He goes on Saturday until the following Saturday. I really dont' think he wants to go. He misses us so much - as we miss him too.
Have a great Thursday!
