Cooper has been trying solids for a week now and is still not interested. He doesn't even eat half a teaspoon!

Hi girls
Just a quick one. Dylan did have a better day yesterday but a crappy arvo today and I tried everything to console him and only after an hour of screaming pus a teether, baby panadol and a cuddle from me did he stop. Who knows. There are no teeth ther yet.
KMH Dylan eats a couple of tablespoons full at a time. Like for lunch today he had two large cubes of sweet potato mixed with about a cube and a half of pumpkin and ater it all up.
I gave him pureed potato for the first time today mixed with breastmilk and it was still a bit lumpy and he was pulling faces and gagging so only had a couple of mouthfuls of that. He was still gagging for a while after and I couldn't help but laugh. But then had a look in his mouth and there was still a lump in there of potato, woops!
Night all must go to bed or will fall asleep here on the puter!
thats good to hear, Charlotte like the rice ceral as well, i have tried her on and off for about 3 weeks and she is still eating only 3/4 of an ice- cube, oh well i am not going to push it.
I am meeting up with a few girls from bb today in the city am really looking forward to it.
Thanks cc for doing the photo for me.
Kelly - I know it is hard to do something 'outside the sqaure' so to speak, but desperate times call for desperate measuers! I really feel that they helped me, but each to their own... I think that accupunture is a waste of money, however for some of my friends they think it is the answer to all their prayers???? Good luck with the nathropath, I'm sure they will help....Hope Danielle sleep is better... Ally went through that phase as well... so tiring isn't it...
Fee: sad about Childcare... if it makes you feel any better EVERYONE I've spoken to said that they thought they would be a mess, but after a week, they are actually OK with sending their babies to care..... but it must be soooo hard... there is zero day care spots available where I live... The RPA Hospital had over 5,000 births last year, the highest ever! I'm on waiting lists for 15 places, however the closest to the list is number 400! So does not look like Ally will be going to care any time soon. There is a babyboom in Sydney and with record rent prices there are no new daycare centers....
kmh: love your new ticker photo!!!!
Eating: Ally eats... wait for it...
Breakfast, 3 tablespoons rice cereal mixed with 1 cup of stewed fruit
Lunch: 1/2 advacardo or 1 cup stewed vegies
Aternoon tea: 1 peice of fruit
Dinner: 1 cup stewed vegies... plus..
About 10 Breast feeds!
My doctor does not measure her lenght, but I just did and it was only 62cm... I looked in Baby Love and that is the bottom line, she was 52cm born, so she has grown 10cm in 6 months... She weighed 6.1kgs at 6 months, however now she has started eating solids I think she has put on a kg.... do you guys think I should be worried about her stats???? For a baby that eats so much she sure is small???????
CC, thanks for doing the photo, i really don't tink you your should be worried about what she eats, Charlotte will have anywhere between 8-10 feeds per day and will eat about 3/4 of an ice cube of vegies, each to there own. wow at the childcare spots here where i live we have no probs about finding care.
Mads- freya is very cute too, love the new pic.
Fee- As a qualified childcare worker, I say go with your heart you will know which centre is right for you and Cooper, but have a look at them all, When i went and looked at centres for Madison I went to all in Pakenham. I really like the one that she is in, and she rather likes it too.
I just went to put Charlotte down in her cot and I bashed her head on the cot, poor baba, she cried only for a sec gave her a cuddle and she went to sleep. Hope tonight is better then last night she was up for a feed at 11pm, 2:30 am and 6am, I am tired.
Went into the city to meet some people from BB, had a great time.

Ok Fraser, you had said in the previous thread you would like to see pictures of where I live. I have two for you. Not the best pictures, nor was the camera ideal but I just did a quick two shots, one at the front of the house and one out the back side of the house. These pics are a week or two old now (took me a bit to get DW to transfer and post them for me). But at any rate, here you go:
http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...oms/robbb1.jpg
http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...oms/robbb2.jpg
Corban had to get 5 shots yesterday. woke at 4 am with 102 fever and has been off and on through out the day with a fever. Been very clingy to mum and not the happiest camper as you can probably imagine.
I am sooooo tired today, Charlotte did not want to sleep last night, was waking every 40mins to an hour last night, i think the most sleep i got was between 6:15am to 7:50am, oh today is going to be a great day.
Mads- I don't know how you do it every night. Do you have any sleeps schools near you, sometimes they do a week stay where they can help you with the over night settling.
Dustmite- it looks beautiful where you live, looks cold though.
Cooper is driving us mental at the moment! The whole not being able to self-settle himself has been going on for ages now but it's even worse lately. He just screams the place down when we put him in the cot and leave. It takes a lot of patting or jiggling the mattress to put him to sleep. And he's so whingy when playing on the floor - especially if we leave the room for a minute.
Also for the past 3 mornings he has woken just after 4.00 am for a feed! It's like he thinks it is 5.00 am (when he usually wakes). He's just wide awake. The first two times he would not go back to sleep after I fed him! Aggghh!!! But this morning thankfully he did and slept until nearly 7.00 am.
It has to be more teeth. And he's not sleeping as long as usual during the day. Maybe 30-40 minutes? Just last week his naps were 2 hours.
I'm definitely going to get him checked out at the doctor's to rule out anything else. I'm going today to get a referral to see my OB again, so I will ask the GP to check over Cooper.
The past two mornings I have mixed sweet potato into his Farex. He's eating a little bit but I have to be tricky and wait until he opens his mouth (usually by making him laugh or something). He's definitely not opening his mouth for the actual food!!! So he's still not really enjoying solids.
Guess what he's doing? Sort of commando crawling backwards! Well he pushes himself and he goes backwards. Very funny. He's also good at sitting up properly now. He doesn't lean forward anymore. He can sit up very straight and grab toys, lean forward to pick them up off the ground and then sit up straight again. But sometimes he can still lean back too much and then topple over.
Cassie – Sounds like Dylan is a good eater! I hope Cooper gets better soon.
Mads – Oh Mads I'm sorry to hear about Freya's night wakings. I hope that the book can help you. Oh I wish I could make it all better for you. *hugs*
kmh – Glad to hear the BB meet up was a good time.
CC – Yeah there are no vacancies with childcare here either. I don't know what I'll do if he doesn't get in – I guess my mum might have to look after him more than just 1 day a week!
OMG Ally eats sooooo much! Cooper has 5 breastfeeds and barely eats any solids. Oh well it's only been 1 week so far.
Baiza – Glad to hear your candle business is going well!
Dustmite – Wow at your photos. Look at all the snow!
Hope Corban is feeling better and his fever has gone down.
oh man!! I am having sleep problems with Charlie too!!! he will only sleep in 3.5 hour blocks at night now - no where near as bad as Freya is Mads - but enough to make me scratch my head and wonder what the hell I have done wrong!
is he not full enough, is it his teeth, is he just doing it to pi*s me off?????
I'm off in search of help in here somewhere - will be back
Em- I know what is like at the moment, Charlotte has gone to waking for feeds at 11pm, 2:30am and 6 am and then getting up for the day at 8am, she also needs settling inbetween that too, i don't know what to do.
She is in our room at the moment, but we are moving her into her own room today and we are going to set up the potta cot in our room just incase.
What are we going to do.......................
hey ladies - still no joy in the sleep front.
I caught Charlie on the phone last night, conference call with Freya and Charlotte, something about - 'ok Freya you start crying at 11pm, I'm going to do that thing where I wake up 2 seconds after Mummy settles into bed and Charlotte it's your turn to not sleep at all' - that's pretty much all I caught before he switched the speaker phone off and hid the phone in his bed..............
aarrgggghhhhhh - how did you all go last night?
Em- lol, Last night Charlotte went to bed at 11pm then was up 12am, 2:30am 6 am for a feed and then a comfort feed in bed at 7:15am and then we were out of bed at 8:45am.
Kelly - Charlie is similar - 10pm, 2am, 4.20am and then up at 6.30am. It's been like that for almost 2 weeks now - it really takes it out of you.
Mads - are you hanging on to your sanity? how is it going
Fee - sounds like we're all in the same boat - Cooper must have been on that conference call too!
Dustmite - Hope Corban is feeling better - where you live looks awesome - like something out of a movie!
must run - Charlie is trying to eat his pat mat - makes me nervous....
thank you all regarding the pic's, I must admit though I would rather live some place tropical or even on the west coast w/Ocean. I hate snow and real cold. Oh well. The problem with Montana is that you can not "eat the scenery" and the economy really sucks here.
I've been going mental today with Cooper's napping. Sorry no personals right now. Sounds like we're all going a bit crazy. Cooper is taking SO long to go to sleep. I've posted in the comforted sleeping section about it. He's really testing my patience.
The GP said he has no ear or throat infections which is good. So it must be teeth? He's still waking at night sometimes (not for feeds, just for some bottom pats). Also he's still waking early for his first feed of the day.
And I'm pretty okay too after my GP check for my "downstairs issues". I've got estrogen cream to try and 2 referrals - one to my OB and one to a recommended female gyno. The GP reckons I should be fine. Says I have age on my side and good healthy elastic skin. But she was lovely and comforting about the whole thing. I won't go into all the details - bit personal and all that. But anyway I'll see how the cream goes. Apparently I have an unusual ridge of scar tissue. Yay for me! Hmmmmm....
Amazingly Cooper is asleep now ... nearly 1.5 hours. That's a record for the last week or so. I miss his 2 hour naps... This morning I spent 30 minutes settling him and he slept for about 20 minutes.
Okay gotta dash. Will be back later girls (and boy). Hugs to all.
Mads- i hope it works for you, let us know how you go.
Em- i wonder what has happened to our sleeping babies?
Fee- hugs to you about cooper sleeping during the day, I have no trouble getting her to sleep, it just staying alseep during the night, for her day sleeps she will have 2+ hour sleeps and 1+2 -3 hour sleep.
Charlotte just had her first shower with me, and loved it, oh iand i got her to eat pears this morning and she ate most of it, yay.
Hi ladies and babies!
Just thought I'd pop on for a quick hello! My name is Carly, and my beautiful little girl is Georgia.. she was born 28 July 06...so is 6 months old :) she is my little princess, and i love her so much...its amazing.. six months.. seems like yesterday.... (possibly cos I have probably only slept one full night in the past 6 months!) lol
I posted on Bellybelly during my pregnacy, and up until Georgia was born, but i have been soo busy, (and slack!) that I have not posted for awhile...but the time has come!
How are all your bubbies going..? Has anyone sprouted any teeth yet? Did anyone else find that there bubs sleep pattern went haywire at 6months?? My bub is waking every two hours.. growth spurt maybe?? IM SOOO TIRED :(
Anyway, good to be back!
Carls xo
Hi again! Just read back through the previous posts....it seems everyone has bee a tad sleep deprived of late :( goodness me.. might be the weather? its hot one min, cold the next.. ? could be the problem... or maybe just one of the ups and downs our babies will go through.. oh well.. my problem is, im so busy trying to keep ontop of the chouse hold chores when bubs has her day naps that i NEVER have been able to catch 40 winks myself...everyone keeps telling me that i should.. but its easier said than done i find :)
Carls xo
Mads- that is wonderful that things are starting to get better, wow at feeding twice during the night, you must be feeling a bit better today.
Carly- Hi, welcome to our group, Charlotte has no teeth yet and it does not look like any are coming, I too am having trouble with sleeping during the night.
Well It was a bit better last night, got her down at about 8:30pm, but i was about to go to bed at 9:30 and she woke for a feed, she had her feed, then woke up at 12:30am then 3:50am, i brought her back into bed with us about 6:30am and then we sleep to 8am.
Oh she had pears and farex again this morning, yay, something that she likes
Cooper slept well last night – no night wakings at all. But he still woke a little early for his feed – 4.40 am. It was so close to 5.00 am by the time I got up to him that I didn't try putting him back to bed. I went by our "routine" as if it were 5.00 am, so we both stayed up. He played for a while and I put him back to bed just after 6.00 am. It took a little while for him to get to sleep. I ended up going back to bed too and we both slept until 8.00 am.
Cooper has now tried pear. I stewed some pear last night. I also gave him a piece of raw pear in the Tommee Tippee Fresh Food Feeder. He chewed and sucked the mesh for a bit and we thought all was going well. But then he pulled some faces.
I finished stewing the pear and then pureed it. I let it cool and spooned it into ice cube trays. I put a tiny bit on my finger and gave it to Cooper. Of course he pulled a face!!! This morning he had a proper meal of it – mixed in with Farex. I managed to get him to eat the whole lot (1 teaspoon Farex with ½ cube pear puree). He's definitely not enthusiastic about it though. I wait until his mouth is open and then I zoom the spoon in quickly!
Cooper slept a bit better today. I gave him my PJ top to snuggle with and it seemed to help. I have tried this before and it has worked, but then other times not. Aside from the first nap which was 2 hours, his other naps were only 30 minutes. I think I'm going to buy him a security blankie toy like a Snugzeez. Just Google it for the website.
kmh – I gave Cooper pears too (as I wrote above). He ate it but is still not interested. I have to trick him to open his mouth.
Glad to hear Charlotte liked her shower! Cooper just had his second one the other day with Mark.
carlys – Welcome!!! You will enjoy posting in this thread. It's a lovely group.
Cooper sprouted two teeth (bottom) at the beginning of July. I have a feeling he could be teething again.
Mads – Glad to hear Freya slept well for you last night. I hope tonight brings more sleep!
Fraser - How's Charlie and his sleeping?
hi everyone seems to be having the same issues trying to feed and sleep themselves and get bubs doing same LOL. I think it must be a development phase.Sam & Joel are 7 months today.
I have been MIA -busy and busier with two at my taps.
Sam hates solids and will not have even a taste sometimes unless I slip it in when he cries or opens his mouth -so I am leaving him now.He is on the (.) constantly if I let him and wakes a few times overnight for it or screams if I don't... of course I do because don't want to wake other DS and even big DS heard him screaming from other end of hosue when I didn't get up straight away.Normally he is in our bed so I get to him quick.
Joel my little champion loves eating and when bowl is empty cries. He is now fully BFing except for one EBM bottle at night to make sure he continues to take bottle and to make sure he goes to bed full and well hydrated. He then goes anywhere from 5am to 7am before an early BF in bed.He still has reflux but rarely vomits in bed but does thru the day.He also has urinary reflux and has been in hospital twice for that in late Nov and early Jan on IV antibiotics.
No teeth here but lots of drool and chewing of everything.I tried Sam on rusks but not interested ... Joel could eat whole down and does. Sam would rather eat tv program or catalogues LOL
where is best place to buy them.:
Tommee Tippee Fresh Food Feeder.
Sam goes to bed at about 8pm for a 40min nap if I am lucky or later and then is up again for a few hours.
During the day they are okay with sleeping but not at the same time usually. except for maybe an hour in mornings.
Welcome back Carlys
Mads, have you tried fruit, Charlotte likes pears mixed with farex, so she is having that at the moment, she is not too keen to vegetables. Good luck with feeding only once during the night, I don't know how we would go doing that Charlotte wakes up hungry, and it does not really bother me to get up to feed her, its only inbetween feeds that i get cranky about.
Fee what does the Tommee Tippee freash food feeder, do?
baby-amore- wow, you are so busy, well done.
Well Charlotte woke up twice last night and woke up with her eye closed over from her eye weeping, it looked horrable, it hasn't done it since.
HOw long are your bub going between feeds now, Charlotte has been doing about 4 hourly, and its killing my boobs and back,
well she has woken up, yay I can release my boobs as they are about to burst.
I found the TT fresh food things in Target.
Sam still wont eat it it has aplastic handle and he bangs it - and Mads he is one who feeds 2-3 times 10pm to 6am.Goodluck it wears you down.
Oh poor little Charlotte hope her eye is okay.
Sam refuses pears and everything.Joel eats everything even spinach and carrot puree but he told me it wasn't his favourite by the look on his face but he kept opening for more LOL. Joel is saying mum mum all the time -only started two nights ago.Sam only says it when upset and wants my (.)(.).
Sarina has been eating 'solids' for 3.5 weeks now and i've learnt that she doesn't like single flavours. I've heard a theory that because she's breastfed she's used to a mix of flavours. When eating pear, she pulls a face like i've just given her a lemon to suck. But if I mix it with rice cereal, she eats it (very very slowly) all.
MADS - I alternate introducing a fruit then a veggie and haven't noticed any particular preference from Sarina. I give it 2 or 3 days before introducing the next new one.
She's had a variety of mixed purees but it generally takes 1 hour to feed her about 1 tablespoon (1 ice cube). I stop after 1 hour (or when she protests too much) as it starts encroaching onto time for the next feed! She just can't seem to figure out what a spoon does. She'll happily drink the food if I make it runny enough!
Apparently, according to my mum, i used to take 2 hours to eat a tablespoon at the beginning so mum just laughed and told me to persevere. Easy for her to say from the other side of the world.
I offer Sarina food twice a day. Sometimes she'll take it, sometimes she won't. I've just spent the evening making chicken and beef stock to start introducing meat to her over the weekend (thought I'd mix the stock with rice cereal first).
All in all, I'm trying to not get too stressed that she's eating so little as she's still happily drinking my milk and clearly isn't hungry for food yet.
Luckily she's sleeping through from 8pm - 6am at the moment too (sshhh - don't let her hear that though!).
BABYAMORE - I'm looking after a baby in my mothers group one day a week - how on earth you cope 24/7 is AMAZING! I'm exhausted after 10 hours (although I really enjoy it)!
KMH - Sarina is about 3.5 - 4 hrly. I'm concious of trying to make sure she takes enough during the day though as I don't want her to start waking in the night again!
HOw is everyones nights going? I could really do with some more sleep, Charlotte has decided that her bed time is about 11pm and then she was up for a feed at 12:30am and then 6am, but she woke up 2:30 and i brought her in to bed with us.
With trying to get her down at night it takes so long and so many feeds, and i have cuddler to sleep so dirffernt from the day where she will put her slef to sleep, so i have called the Queen Elizabeth Centre (sleep school) for some advice on how to get her down at night, they will call me back to the 15th of feb, as she wont respond to patting.
Mads- it dont sound harsh at all, I think we all knew what you ment, Charlotte gets hungry over night as she can not settle until i feed her.
Last night we were laying in bed and Tim asked me if i was going to b/f after Charlottes first birthday, I think i will, is anyone else going to?
also does anyone leak anymore, i am sitting here with a hugh wet patch on my pj;s top

We have found that Corban does not like cold food. if you give him something that is luke warm he does much better but if it is cold he will give you the same face you described.
hello all
to answer some questions:
leaky boobs: yes, I still leak, but only at night when they are super full and not too much...
Food: Ally is still eating like there is no tomorrow... 4 meals a day - a cup at each meal.. it is out of control... I swear I spent a whole day just making her food... dinner is now lentils with mixed vegies... I'm yet to start cows milk, wheat or meat - as those things don't sit that well with me...
oh darn, Ally is up.. thought I would get to chat more.. back soon...
luv
CC
at least I got to hear what your all doing!
Hi Ladies!
Thankyou for the welcomes!
Well, i am convinced Georgia is teething...she has developed this really strange cry...not her normal sounding cry..this 'pained' cry :( its really odd... and coupled with refusing her bottle and not sleeping longer than a couple of hours at a time at night..We are having a GREAT time! :wall:
Although, last night was okay.. here in Ballarat we have a chemist that sells teething mixture, which seemed to work well...I put her down at 7:30pm and she woke at 4:30 for a feed (which is normal for her) and up again at 6:30am...so not too bad.. fingers crossed that continues!
I have fully weaned from Breast feeding... well, Georgia only "breastfed" for 8 weeks...and then I have exclusively expressed for another 4 months...which was HARD, but worth it... I wish I could go for longer :( but I am getting Married in four weeks, so I decided leaky boobs in my wedding dress might not be such a good look!!
..anyway...she is now on solids... I started her quite early, as she just seemed to want to grab at what we were eating... so started at about four and a half months... I began by feeding her farex and boobie milk..and then introduced stewed apple...for a week, then added stewed pear... and then took out the apple, and added banana... for a week, then took out the pear...etc etc.. then I thought I should start vegies... of course I started with the sweetest pumpkin I could get (butternut) and added sweet potato...and now im onto broccoli...shes a champion too...eats STACKS... sometimes i wonder if I am feeding her too much... but she LOVES it.. and cries when the bowl is empty ...shes a funny little thing..!
I spoke to my mum about solids, and she said we all had yogurt at 6 months... so I asked the health nurse if she can have yogurt...and she said "if your mum said you had it with no worries, then YES!" so I started on baby Yogurt this week for a light lunch...again she loves it.. its her favorite, and the nurse said its very good for her....so now we are having 3 little meals a day!
My baby may turn into a little budda at this rate... :)
Hope you are all feeling a bit more rested.. and getting some sleep!
Love Carls xoxoxx
Last night i was feeling sick because i was so tired and i tried to get Charlotte down even with me but all she wanted to do was play, so i got up and gave her to tim and went back to bed, i woke up at 11:30 and she was asleep in the swing so i got her up and feed her and put her in her cot and she slept till 3:50am.
I hope she starts going to sleep a bit earlier, i don't think i can cope well with out much sleep and a toddler.
Well we are off to the phillip island today and then my sister is doing laps in v8 holdon down there.
well we think we know why Corban is not feeling to well and why he will not sleep for more than 15 - 30 minutes at a time for going on four days now. we are wiped! Heidi just checked his mouth and the little bugger is suffering from "5" teeth coming in!
hey ladies - tired tired tired......... still waking multiple times at night
hang in there ladies - it HAS to get better!!!!! I'm thinking of all of you as I sit awake at 2.30am willing Charlie to go back to sleep!
speak soon, EM
Hi everyone
So sorry to everyone who is having sleep issues. I guess we are still here too but they keep changing. I went to Oconnell family centre to do a day stay and they offered some good tips to me for helping with settling Dylan as I was rocking him to sleep now I am butt patting and doing the walk in and out of the room thing but not controlled crying. They also advised me to be using the same beddy byes routine for all sleeps ie book, nigh nighs, music, and into bed which is going well but Dylan still won't sleep for longer than 40 mins at a time during the day although I got him to sleep for almost two hours today in the middle of the day sleep which was amazing so I am hoping it will continue. Last night he went to sleep at 7.30ish then woke at 8.30, 12, 2 and I fed him, 4.45, 5.25and then he came into bed with us and then at 7.10 aaaggghhhh is it their age do you think cos everyone is going through this well in this little group anyway.
On the solids front Dylan is loving everything I give him except broccoli but he will eat it mixed with one of his fave orange rooot vegies. I started him on baby porridge on thursday morning mixed with formula and he loves this and today he has tried baby yoghurt which he pulled a face at but then opened his mouth for more. I am going to introduce a third meal either today or tomorrow which will be vegies mixed with rice cereal and will see how we go. So on the list of foods he has tried are rice cereal, pumpkin, apple, pear, sweet potato, potato, carrot, baby porridge and baby yoghurt. Next I am going to try him on peaches and then zucchini and some more greens and then cauliflower and then I am going to add cheese to vegies mmmmmm! Then I will introduce meat like chicken or something. Also I was thinking of starting him on rusks as he wanted my biscuit and my toast the last couple of days so I think he is ready for these.
Sorry for no personals everyone I am so busy with the house renos and going back and forth plus I am having my mothers group here tomorrow and have been busy cleaning like a mad woman.
Hope the bubbas sleep tonight.
Hi Ladies,
Hope you are all well, and getting some more sleep... :(
Georgia is sprouting her first two bottom teeth, i discovered these cute little pearly gums the other day...so they are not far from cutting...poor little bubba, no wonder shes been grumpy, and awake every hour! My local chemist also sells a blend for teething that helps ease the discomfort, and help bubs sleep...so i gave it a go for the past two nights... worked like a charm :) thank the stars..I was feeling ****ty with no sleep... at was altering my personality  Georgia slept from 7:30pm till 6am!! and last night she went down at 7:30pm, awake at 3:30am...stuck the dummy back in her jib, and she slept til 6am! NICE! hoping to have the same again tonight... the chemist recommended to give her this mixture for a week, to get her back into a routine..as he said its better for her to be rested, and comfortable... than to let her suffer... plus it works for me too! We all get some sleep... which is good for the sanity!
KELLY - Hope you're feeling better... i think we are all in the same boat for the moment.. Im sure it will get better.. Hope Charlotte sleeps heaps tonight...'sleepy vibes'
CASSIE - Sounds like Dylan and Georgia are on the same page with solids - Georgia has had the same things that your bubba has tried... Im not sure when to introduce cheese or meat? Whats your plan with that?
Em - 'Sleepy vibes' to Charlie too! Awww..poor you
DUSTMITE - Oh my goodness FIVE teeth, which ones?? poor little darling... I thought Georgia was doing it hard! Poor little man.. Did he start refusing feeds recently? Georgia WILL NOT drink a full bottle... up till now, she was on 200ml per feed... now im lucky if she takes 100ml ... teething symptom maybe? How has Corban been with feeds?
Hope I have all your names right?!! Sorry if I made any mistakes Gals!
Take Care all
Carls xoxoxox
Evenin all
Carlys Not sure about when to introduce the meat and cheese but one of the girls in my mothers group has this book that steps the introduction of solids out for you and she is bringing me some photocopied pages tomorrow to our mothers group session so I will tell you what that says. I think I am going to introuduce cheese into Dylans vegies first just a little grated cheese and at some stage in the next couple of weeks try some pureed chicken though not sure on that as I don't know how well chicken will puree. Anyway just wanted to answer your question. What is the stuff you have that the chemist recommended for teething/sleep?
Nigh night all.
tip for adding meat ...cook chicken/beef and then freeze it in whole piece - take it out frozen and grate a little into purreed vegies - works perfectly - fine grated it can be eaten easily .Either cut off a small piece or grate it as chunk and put back in freezer.
Years ago with Ds (13) I could never get it pureed enoguh or chop small enough and he chewed it for ages (teeth) and then would end up spitting it out.
Goes like grated chocolate flakes. I can use small garte or large grate for later.
