Mads - I don't mind. most of all its neat to watch him progress and be mobile. Besides, we need to get used to it so we are ready for the next one when it's time for another...LOL! Although I still think the little bugger should be saying "dada". He is a good baby and a lot of fun!

not a lot going on here - Charlie is still pushing some massive top teeth out - he sits himself up in his cot now - very strange! I'm going to have to lower the mattress bit so he doesn't topple out!
Sleep seems to be heading in the right direction - but I'm sitting on a wooden chair with my feet on a wooden floor and touching a wooden table - so pretty much have the 'touch wood' covered.......
swimming lessons are going well - although this weekend is the face under water lesson - I may have to go outside for that bit - the parents are supposed to look happy and excited all the time - so the look of horror on my face as he springs back out of the water may be detrimental to the process!
Fee - Charlie is a bit like that with day time sleeps - happy to go once but then the next time will kick up a fuss - even though he has exhibited all the same sleepy signs - I end up having to get him back up again for a while and try again 1/2 an hour later - doesn't always work though. Have fun at your meet up!
Mads - wow you have been busy around the house and it isn't even spring! The babbling talk is cute isn't it - especially when they don't realise you're watching them - and they're just chattering away to themselves!
Kel - yaay for Charlotte and the weight! Good luck with the sleep school - I will be very interested to hear how it goes
Carly coc (hehehehe) - I wouldn't worry too much about Georgia not speaking - my neice is a bit of a quiet one - but she's just taking it all in - she doesn't move much so I reckon one day she'll just stand up and walk and say something like 'Mummy can I have something to eat please' and blow us all away!
Bubs - I really really want to move Charlie along with his food - you're so good at it! we have progressed to big chunks of roast beef - he loves to chew and suck on them for ages - it's a bit gross though - I spend hours pixking up little bits of meat from the floor and all over his highchair (thanks god I didn't get the cloth one.....)
Cassie - Dylan sounds sooooo Cute! I can just imgaine the commando role! what a clever boy! Charlie will only clap if you hold both his arms and bang them together!
Dustmite - yaay for Corban crawling - its funny I really want Charlie to crawl - but then I want him to not crawl anymore!
must run - the monkey is mkaing some funny noises from the bedroom - I think he might be trying to escape from the cot!

I made my own ceral for Charlotte, it is :
1/2 tablespoon of oats ( i used 1 tablespoon)
1 small banana ( I used a large one)
150 mls of water
Bring to the boil all ingredients and let it simmer for 5 mins.
I them nixed it with some rice ceral and Charlotte loves it.
Charlotte is slowing starting to get around looks so funny she pushs up on her legs and moves like that, its very cute.

Well Georgie had her first day at playgroup yesterday!! Yay! She has such a great time... was sooo cute when she met her first friend...they just smiled at eachother, she smiled, looked at me, smiled and looked at me again, as if to say "see mum, see the other little person?" she was so cute! It was nice to chat to some mummies that are, and have been going through the same issues...and sadly some are still going through even with two year olds!!...also was nice to meet mums who are all organic and fresh food eaters (and makers) like me, so we could compare recipes and food ideas too... and of course there are mums whos children have always been difficult feeders, and nothing but the canned variety of food will be eaten by their little cherubs! All in all it was a good day.. i recommend it to anyone wanting some type of social activity for their babies :)
anyway, Im tired (its 2:29am) just fed Georgia ... hope this stops soon... but her dummy just doesnt seem to cut it...she wakes for at least one feed in the night.... and had NEVER slept through.....oh, maybe once.....anyway... bye bye, im off to bed :)

hey what do you guys think about letting your bub fall asleep with the dummy in their mouth? Charlie keeps rolling onto his tummy with the dummy in his mouth and it sort of gets wedged in there by the mattress - do you think this is bad?
Fraser - no i dont think thats bad at all... Georgia has slept with a dummy since a few weeks after she was born..and shes also a tummy sleeper.....i notice that when she is sound asleep she half spits it out anyway so if i notice that, i gently take it out and put it next to her hand in her cot, so if she wakes she can put it back in...it seems to be working, she must have found it last night because she settled herself after a little grizzle...she found her dummy and put it back in! clever little thing :)...so i wouldnt worry about it.. I think our bubs are old enough now to move if something is compromising their ability to breathe...

Hi everyone
We are good. My DH is in Sorrento doing more stuff at our house down there he has hired a huge skip to fill with rubbish and will have to do it again next week. I feel so sorry for him but he said the nicest thing as he was leaving yesterday which was "I am doing it all for our future" which is the truth because when the house is renovated and rented out we can buy our own home as my mum is going to go halves with us in a house which we will live in so I can't wait for that. It will mean Dylan can have his own room, (yes he is still in with us, hmmmmmm!) and we will have more room yay.
Fraser I let Dylan sleep with the dummy in and he sometimes sleeps on his tummy. I guess as long as it is the right size for his age.
Carly It is so cute when they acknowledge other babies and children. Dylan spent a bit of time looking at my friends newborn the other day but then decided he was not all that interested, LOL.
Fraser and Dustmite I was the same with Dylan I really wanted him to be more mobile and now that he is I am having to constantly watch him as he is into everything the power cords, any little thing on the floor, the clothes, magazines, clothes horse, and the list goes on.
Fee We have a loosish routine which goes like this:
7 (whatever time Dylan wakes) Wake up and boobie feed then floor play
7.30 Solids (baby porridge or weetbix with fruit or raisin toast)
9.30ish Sleep (usually only 45 mins)
10.15ish Wake and play more floor time or music
11ish Lunch (cheesy vegies or sandwich plus fruit and/or cruskits or rusk) Then more play
11.30 Boobie juice
1ish Nap (hope for 1 and a half hours
2.30 Play and offer water in a cup (have dropped this feed)
4 Sometimes anothe 45min nap
5.30 Dinner (chicken casserole or baby bolognaise or lentil mush or fish lyonnaise plus fruit or custard
6 Bath
6.30 Bottle of formula
7 Bed
2am Boobie feed
The times all depend on his naps and what we are doing on the day.

Em- Charlotte will go to sleep with her dummy and it will drop out pretty much when she is a deep sleep, but during the day, she mostly has it, ( mayby she does not really go into a deep sleep.)
Cassie- wow you are good with Dylans food, Charlotte is still on vegies for dinner, fruit for lunch and I do make my own breakfast for her, which is banana oats and farex.
Have not been doing to much, just staying at home lately, getting very boring, I have just been cooking up some foods for Charlotte, and just making dinner for madison and me as tim is at work. Charlotte has decided that she is not tired today and has had one sleep at luch time for almost 2 1/2 hours, grrrr, hopefully she will go to sleep early around 6:30. The problem is that she is up heaps at night so she sleeps into 8:30-9am. Next week will be a big change for the little girl, oh sleep school, routines, hopefully more sleep yay.
I had a nice time meeting some BB mums today. I met Mummy Mel, Kitty33, Flea and AliVB plus all the kiddies.

Well the whole 4 breastfeeds and 2 naps seems to be working okay. I'm trying to get something going for when I go back to work in June and I hope to be down to 3 breastfeeds by then. Cooper's eating a lot more now too. He ate 10 cubes for lunch and 8 cubes for dinner today! A new record! I'm still yet to try a lot of lumpy things and finger food. Will do so soon now that we finally got the tray for his IKEA highchair. I give him chunks of banana and pear. That's about it so far. Also his food is more a mashed up thing now – not purees.
Thanks everyone for the info about "routines". Cooper's sort of goes like this (can vary of course):
5.00 am - Wake, BF and back to bed
7.00 am - Wake
7.30 am - Breakfast
9.00 am - BF
10.00 am - Sleep (1-2 hours)
12.00 pm - Lunch
1.00 pm - BF
2.30 pm - Sleep
5.00 pm - Dinner
5.30 pm - Bath
6.00 pm - BF, story and bed

Fraser – Oh you should definitely lower the cot base! Next thing Charlie will be pulling himself to standing! I find it annoying now that Cooper can sit himself up. It's so hard to settle him to sleep at times. He just wants to sit up in bed!

Just got back from getting Charlottes 8 month old checkup:
Weight is: 7.080
Height is : 67cms
head is: 42.5cms
With her weight she only put on 30 grams in 5 days :wall: this is really getting to me, as she is having soooooo many b/fs and is not really eating, 1-2 ice cubes 3 times a day. I think as she is having so much booby then she does not want any solids, and she is feeding heaps over night.
Anyway we are going to sleep school tomorrow, yay hopefully we can get some things sorted out when we are there.
what did the MCHN say about it Kel? Are they concerned? If she's eating so much and not gaining perhaps she's just going to be petite (lucky her!)

Fraser - LOL. Well here is the deal. I am just being honest with myself and every one else. We do not use anything to prevent nor do we plan to (different reasons for different products, etc.). Heidi pees on sticks non-stop and the last one (a few days ago) she came out and said she is tired of being disappointed. Her attitude is when its meant to be its meant to be. Now in my book all of this says we are TTC regardless if we want to admit it. I have accepted we are having at least one more and its just a matter of time.

I haven't been around for a few days. Been doing it tough here. I've been having the worst few days lately. Cooper is VERY clingy - a real velcro baby! He will NOT self-settle for day naps. He just screams the place down. It's awful. I dread nap time. He is also waking through the night numerous times. :(
Last night he woke up at 9.00 pm (I re-settled), 10.00 pm (I re-settled), 2.00 am (his cries didn't escalate too much so I left him and I guess we both fell asleep again!) and then at 4.30 am (I BF him). He then slept until 6.30 am.
The other nights before that have been just as bad. He has forgotten how to sleep through! He has also gone off his solids but it starting to eat a few tablespoons again. I wonder if he is teething?
We went to the Baby Clinic today. Cooper has put on 630 grams in 4 weeks and is now 9.26 kgs. Last month he didn't gain much and dropped to the 65th percentile but now he's back a bit closer to the 75th.
I asked lots of questions about BFing and going back to work and also solids. She said I can start dairy now (she said I could from 7.5 months). I didn't mention how the lady I saw last month said Cooper was too young for cheese. That's why I held off! I gave Cooper yoghurt for lunch but he didn't seem keen - too tangy I think! The MCHN said it's still a good idea to wait 5-7 days between each new food. I find this quite a PITA! How many different foods are out there?! It will take forever. I don't think I will bother.
She also said he can have wheat now. She said to try the next Farex first and see how he reacts but then he can have wholemeal bread, Weetbix etc. And I can put milk on his cereal. I might wait for 9 months as I think the next Farex is 9 months plus anyway. So I'll work on dairy for this month!
She said the focus is now more on the solids and not the milk. So he needs 700-800 ml (I think) of calcium (or is it dairy?) each day. So that can come from yoghurt, cheese, milk in cooking and on cereal plus breastfeeds. So as long as Cooper gets that every day it doesn't matter where the breastfeeds fit in. I guess I have been thinking that to combat hunger I need to give BFs and I've been worrying about BFs needing to be every certain number of hours. But it doesn't really matter how long he goes between BFs, as long as he's getting that amount of calcium each day.
I'll have to start expressing 6-8 weeks before I go back to work. She said he can be down to 3 milk feeds by 11 months and I can express the lunch time one or give formula. He can't have milk in a cup until 12 months. And on the days I am at home I can give as many BFs as I like. It won't confuse Cooper.
I also asked about egg seeing that I am allergic to egg white. She confirmed that the 12 month needle does have egg (or is grown on egg white). So 2 weeks before the needle I need to try Cooper with egg yolk. Just a teaspoon mixed with milk and scrambled. Then the next week I can try the white (so basically all the egg with a little milk and scrambled). If Cooper has any reactions I have to tell the GP before he gives the needle.
Just thought I'd share all that info in case it helps anyone else.

kmh – Sorry to hear about Charlotte's small weight gain. How many BFs is she having? You're feeding on demand aren't you? Do you think you want to try to cut back some BFs. I think if you follow a routine of sorts a baby this age can be on about 4-5 feeds in 24 hours. You could try offering solids before BFs and see if it makes a difference? It never really did with Cooper. He just got the hang of eating one day.

I got home from sleep school today and they have done wonders to my little girl. She is now putting her slef to sleep and sleeping through the night ( again). They gave us a routine to follow, and this has helped, it is:
7am wake and milk feed
7:30-7:45am- breakfast
8:30-9- sleep
11am- milk feed
12- lunch
1pm- bed
3pm- milk feed
4:30- cat nap
5:30pm- dinner, bath
7pm- milk feed
7:30pm bed
10:30- roll over feed.
We have been following this bed Charlotte has been having 2 long sleeps and as she wakes up around 8am. So we are down to 5 feeds in 24 hours.
The first time we put her down to sleep it took 1 hour to get her to sleep and it was heartbreaking to listen to her get angry and upset, and then the next day it took 30 mins. When we got home it took 10 mins, yay.
When doing CC we got told to wait 3 mins then go back in and give dummy blanket etc, then wait another 3 mins, go back in, then 5 and 5 then 10 and 10 unless they are crying heaps. Or if bubs are slowing down and winding them selfs down you are not to go in.
With the solids, I have been told she is just fussy and VERY stubborn, and to keep trying, Charlotte gets weighed in 2 weeks so we will see how she goes with her weight.
Anyway I will go personals another time, hope sleep improves for everyone soon.

Mads Dylan does Gymbaroo and loves it. The babies do about 25 mins on the equipment which is all fit balls, slides, a mini tramp, swings, tunnels, etc and then the rest of the time about 20 mins is specific excercises, singing, dancing and stimulation I think it is great. Next term we are going to do Mini Maestros (my mum is going to pay, yay) though and then go back to Gymbaroo in term 3. We all think Dylan is destined to become a muso as he comes from a very musical family (DH is a guitarist, his brother plays in 3 bands sings and plays bass, I sing, my brother plays piano and sax, my mum played piano and did classical ballet, my nan was a concert pianist, etc) so we want to get him interested in music as young as possible to see. I think he will be interested as he loves me singing to him and loves listening to his daddy play guitar. I htink Freya would love Gymbaroo.
Fee I hope Cooper gets through this and that it is temporary.
KMH How ace that CHarlotte is sleeping through yay, my routine is similar but I am doing only 4 breastfeeds now.

Not much going here except lots of commando crawling. We are baby proofing the place as much as we can cos Dylan is into EVERYTHING! Power cords, magazines, appliances, plugs, bookshelves, clothes horses and the list goes on. Oh and he gets bored if we stay home all day and really protests about it. Anyway must go rescue some books, LOL.

Hi all! well, its only two days since my period was due, but I couldnt wait another minute! ...I guess i shouldnt get too excited...its early days yet, and anything could happen... but OMG!!
Its strange, although I couldnt be happier...i look at my beautiful little girl, and wonder if I could ever love another little person as much as i love her...and i kind of feel like i have dont the wrong thing by Georgia wanting for another baby...i know its odd... but its how i feel.... its a strange mix of emotions.... :) :( Did any one else feel this way when expecting #2??

Carly - Thats Great!! Also, yes my wife was afraid of the whole more than one to love and stuff like that but in the end you realize that for every baby that comes along you end up with a little bit more love to go around. I promise it will be just fine, you will have plenty of love for every one in your family!

You will love this baby the same, With me, I got pregnant with Charlotte when Madison was 11 months, and now its great, Madison is such a daddy's girl, and Charlotte is a real mummy's girl, so it works with us, you will be fine, Congratulations.
Cassie- I still have to do the 5 b/fs a day as Charlotte is still not taking solids, even though we are trying 3 times a day.
Well it took an hour and half to get Charlotte to sleep last night, and then i got her up to do a roll over feed and then she slept until 7:50am this morning yay, and it only took 10 mins to get her to sleep this morning yay.

Cooper's going okay. Still waking a bit at night. Every night is different. He's starting to eat a bit more. Back up to 4-6 tablespoons each meal. Before he was eating a lot more than that. I've tried him with full fat natural yoghurt. At first he pulled a face but now he's getting used to it – only if I mix it with pear and Farex.
kmh – Wow that's amazing about sleep school being so helpful. Seems like magic! Maybe I need to go… although I don't think I could do CC.
I wish Cooper would sleep until 7.00 am. Would make the rest of the day so much easier.
Mads – I haven't done Gymbaroo but I think it's something Cooper will love. I believe he gets bored at home easily. He loves going out. I've been taking him out a lot lately as it's just easier! Then I make sure he falls asleep on the drive home so I can transfer him to his cot! Bad habit probably but oh well. :dunno:
Cassie – What is it with babies and power cords?!?! Cooper loves them too. He loves all the dangerous stuff!

Hi there all!
Well, i did another preggo test today, as i am in denial :) !! So.. again, it came up positive..but the second line is quite faint...none the less it IS a second line...so I guess it means im pregnant! Nathan is off this weekend at some blokes footy training camp (drinking weekend!) so, im going to the doctor tomorrow to confirm it ... if i am...(denial)...i will be due on the 29th November...so WOW!
As far as how I am feeling...well ...excited... but i am nervous because i dont want to get my hopes up if it does not come to be.. you know...anything can happen so...i eill try to contain myself for the next few weeks at least!...im not feeling sick yet...but that usually happens to me around 12 weeks or so...so we will see!
i will try to catch up soon for personals... but meanwhile, I hope you are all well, and I hope you babies are eating and sleeping well :)

Carlys - CONGRATULATIONS!! How are you feeling? I must admit, we're not taking precautions either.... :D
KMH - Sarina is also having around 5 BF a day including 1 at night and although I offer food 3 times a day, i'm lucky if she takes anything. I was getting stressed and then read a great book - My Child Won't Eat by Gonzalez (a Spanish Paediatrician) and realised that she's just not ready yet. So I just keep offering, no forcing, no flying aeroplanes and she'll take it if she wants it. She likes holding pieces of meat and toast so I figure perhaps she just wants to feed herself! Charlotte will take it when she's ready. Remember she still needs at least 600 ml breast milk a day.
Mads - I tried out Gymbaroo and personally found that I do all those activities with Sarina myself so won't be going back at the moment. There didn't seem any interaction between the babies either which is most of the reason I like group kiddies stuff.
Sarina is just getting her first tooth now but on the whole not overly bothered by it. She's crawling like a caterpillar which is cute! But also got a thing about cables, phone lines, and power cords.....
We went to a sleep seminar organised by the ABA on Friday which was excellent - discussing controlled crying and the biological and possible psychological effects of it.

Cooper slept pretty well last night. He didn't wake around 9.00 pm – YAY! I'm glad as both Mark and I were in bed by 7.45 pm!
Mark headed off to work around 2.30 am and I heard Cooper crying out at 4.00 am which is when he's been waking for the past week or so. Seeing that Mark wasn't home I left Cooper to cry a bit – he wasn't crying too loudly or anything. Anyway he fell asleep and then woke just after 5.00 am – which is his old wake up time. So I got up and fed him then. For the last 2 days he won't feed off the second side – so weird. Then we both went back to bed until 7.30 am. I fed him again then as my other boob was so full!!!
And it's been a tiring morning with Clingy Cooper (that's his new name). Crawling after me crying and stuff. I tried to give him another feed as he was so whingy but he only sucks for a few seconds and then pulls off. If I sit on the floor he crawls over and climbs into my lap but if I try to cuddle him he gets wriggly and wants to get down. I don't get it?!?!
Getting him to sleep was atrocious. The screams … OMG. The neighbours must think someone is being murdered. Seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes himself physically ill one day. That's how bad the screaming is. He starts screaming like that as soon as I lower him into the cot. There's no escalating cries. Full on screaming straight away. I've tried going in to calm him but he won't calm down. Sometimes he doesn't even calm down when I pick him up. No wonder I've been timing my outings so that he falls asleep on the way home – then I don't have to deal with it. Anyway I finally got him to sleep.

Well things are getting better here with sleeping, Saturday night was as a loss, but we had to go out so Charlotte was up till 10:30pm so she was up most of the night, and then last night (sunday) It took 20 mins to get her to sleep, and she woke up for her dummy at 12:15am and then she woke up at 7:45am yay, and today she has slept well.
Charlotte is still not eating solids, but I am trying not to let that get to me, She is happy to just suck on things i give to her, so we do that, but she is really not taking much, even though I have droped her b/f's. We go to the health centre next week,hopefully she has gained enough.
Fee- What does Mark do for a job that he needs to leave so early in the morning? My boobs have been so full lately as we have dropped feeds, I can feel them now, I should problery pump a little. Charlotte is doing the same with the : I want mummy", its hard to leave her even to go to the toilet, she just cry's everytime I walk out. I hope the sleeps gets better for you soon.
Royauk. Just a question for you, with Sarina not eating solids, she still gaining enough weight? As Charlotte is not, some weeks its good, but most weeks it is not, Like last week she gainid 30 grams in 5 days.
Carls- How are you feeling?
I don't think I mentioned it ... but Mark has started a new job. It's his second week. He is working for a major food and beverage company as a Company Service Rep. Mondays are an early start as he has to go around to certain supermarkets to do the "ends" (of aisles) - that is, with the catalogue specials for the week. So stock up the products and put up signs etc. It all has to be done before the supermarkets open on Monday morning. The rest of the week is just normal hours but most of the work is out and about on the road and in stores. A bit of sales work too.:
He has a company car (well tool-of-trade car) which is great so now I have our one car all to myself!
He is enjoying it so far. It's just an entry level job but there should be many options to move up in the company which is what he wants.

Hi my name is Katie. I have a beautiful baby girl born 14/7/06 she weighs in at 9kg and is 75cm long.(tall girl) she has 2 teeth and is commando crawling. I also have a spunky son who is 4 and attending pre school. My daughter loves her food and pretty much eats everything. She loves spinach in her veggies. She started eating biscuits last week and is hooked on scotch fingers.

Fee- Sounds like Mark has a good job, Tim is a bottleshop Manager, and he likes dealing with his reps, He is lucky to get a job doing that, A friend of Tims went for a job doing something like that and over 300 people went for it.

Charlotte went down in 15 mins tonight yay, its getting better every day.
Cooper slept from 7.00 pm to 5.00 am last night. Yahoo!!!!!!! I did hear him cry around 9.30 pm but it wasn't much and he fell asleep again. Fingers crossed he's back to normal.
Cooper went to sleep in about 3 minutes for his morning nap - I didn't have to do anything! OMG! I did put him in his sleeping bag for a change. Maybe that's the trick? Although I know there have been times where he has been in it and not self-settled. Anyway I'm so glad.
He's been self-settling for bed time like the old days ... which I love. It's the day time naps which have been atrocious. So I was very surprised at him going to sleep so well this morning. He's still asleep now - nearly 1.5 hours.

kmh - Well 300 people didn't go for this job but I was still impressed at how well Mark did. I think about 70 people applied and they interviewed about 10. Then he made it to the final 2 and then of course got the job. Was quite a process! 2 hour interview with role playing etc. Scary!

Went to the GP yesterday to confirm my pregnancy..YAY!!! Its all good... so here we go again!!!! I am about to ring to book in at the hospital for my booking appointment, and ring to book all my ultrasounds and bloods etc... Yippee! Im still in total shock about it all really... we had only been trying for one month...and i sort of expected it to take a few at least... so there will only be a 15 month gap between Georgia and this one! Oh dear, i might end up in a mental hospital!... Its so surreal... but its great...i guess it will seem more real after the booking appointment :) ...I hope Georgia copes okay with another bubs around...i dread the thought of hurting the feelings of my precious little girl... i love her sooo much, its hard to imagine being able to love like that again... but i guess these feelings are normal...
So far I feel great... no sickness yet...
Oh guys, I am so sorry for rambling on about myself so much... im just sooo excited :) i always do that and then never have time to catch up with personals.. :( I promise i will next time!
Oh, and do you think I should join an expecting mums forum, or stay on this one? I dont think I will have time for two!

KMH - I don't know about Sarina's weight gain. She was 8.17 kg at 8 months (3 weeks ago) and about the 50th percentile. Her demeanour is happy and content so i must admit i've not thought about her weight gain - rather her moods. Today she didn't take any food at all all day until 6.50pm . Just before I was putting her down, i saw her eat her foot so thought i'd offer again.....and she ate a tablespoon of chicken & veggies!
Fee - Sarina is doing the same thing - only wanting one boob per meal session. Only started a couple of days ago. So not only is she pushing away food, now she's pushing away a boob! I figure she's just getting more efficient?
Yes, I'm an ABA subscriber and have just been invited to train as a counsellor too which i'm really excited about.
I met a lady in the park this afternoon struggling with a 2 month old baby - doesn't it seem like a lifetime ago?
Cooper slept right through until 5.00 am without stirring. But then he wouldn't go back to sleep!!! I fed him at 5.00 am and he only had one side – bugger. Then he went back in his cot no worries. But when I went back to bed I could hear him talking to himself etc. He did that the other day but eventually went to sleep. But after about 30 minutes he started getting crabby. By nearly 6.00 am I had to get up to him again. I tried to feed him as I was so full but he only sucked for a minute. I put him back in the cot again and it seemed he was going to go back to sleep. But no. So I tried to feed him again and he finally drank a fair bit and I was no longer lopsided!!!
So now it's 8.00 am and he's fast asleep … so his naps are going to be all out of whack today. Hmmm we'll see how the day pans out.
He's soooooo fussy with feeding lately. Pops on and off the boob. Often just after let-down. So annoying. I hope he's getting enough. And he's still fussy with food again. He's so whingy (as I've complained about so much). But he's even whingy at meal times sitting in his high chair. I wish he could talk to me.
Roya - I'm not liking this "one boob" thing. I am lopsided! And it SUCKS in the morning as I've gone all night and am extremely full.
Wow about training to be an ABA counseller? How did you get into that? Do you just say you want to be one?

I can relate to all the happenings here ...
Joel is commando crawling and Sam still rocking round the clock and stretching to reach.
Joel eats everything and cries for more.Now he can crawl he crawls to highchair and cries on the floor there - tellingme he is hungry LOL.
Thanks for that info Roya Sam eats pretty much nothing - barely a 1/4 spoonful gets in most days.He does chew and spit out toast and bread though.
Both my boys have only ever had one side each - Sam will sometimes have a suck on both after Joel is finished or 30 mins later.Even with Joel on solids - Sam was still putting on weight about 50gms difference in a month.
Neither sleep through but to be expected demand BF ing The ABA says.
They are just staying to play kind of together and pull toys off each other - very cute.Sam already takes Joel's dummy but he doesn't suck one much - chews it and plays with it.Smiles when Joel screams.
We go to a twin playgroup too and they love it.
We are battling sleep issues but think we turned a corner the last few nights.
I hope all these little darlings start to let mummy & daddy sleep longer.

I think I must be pretty lucky. My little girl sleeps from 8.30pm to 8am without stirring. She has 2 sleeps during the day which last 1 - 2 hours each time. I hope all who are having sleep issues get some solid sleep soon

Well we got a full night sleep last night, yay I put Charlotte down at 7:30 and she took a little while to get to sleep, I gave her a roll over feed and she woke at 7:30am yay, Its so nice to have some sleep again. She also is have=ibng two big sleeps during the day.
Fee- I bet you feel better now you have had some more slep.
I better be off, Charlotte has woken up after 40 mins of sleep, so I will try and get her back to sleep.
