Thanks Jem, for the both the welcome and the compliment. So far so good as far as Autumn goes - I think I'll probably keep her.

Hehehehe - I said that exact same thing to someone yesterday about Charlotte. Is Autumn your first baby? Charlotte is my third - I also have two boys (but I guess you can see that from my sig).
Yes, she's my first and was a long time coming. It took us two years but in the end we did it without intervention except for an operation to remove cysts from the ovaries, which may or may not have been the cause. I see you have quite small gaps between your bundles, how have you found that, mentally and physically? I am weighing up the options for number 2 - don't want to leave it to long because I'm already 34, but I'm exhausted just thinking about a toddler AND a newborn...
Hi everyone
Welcome Sacha and Autumn! :)
Alisa - Diana did a little laugh/giggle last week when we were in the registry office. It was so cute.
Jas - I love your pictures. Your boy is goregous.
Hi to everyone else! :)
I haven't had much time to read all the posts. I hope to catch up tomorrow.
In the weekend, we finally got around to starting to paint Diana's cot (we got it second hand, so it had been standing around looking kind of chipped until now). By the end of this week, it will hopefully be dry and finished. Diana hasn't really slept in it yet (just a few day sleeps), so we will see how it goes. Hope she likes it. We also had a bit of a shopping spree, which was fun. Diana and I both got some clothes in similar colours . Does anyone else dress their bubs to coordinate with what they're wearing? Or am I taking this whole baby as an accessory thing too far?
Anyway, I hear a baby stirring, so I better go. Good night.
Jas, I thought of another pro. DH and I still plan to do alot more travelling. And with only 2 and so close together, we can do this earlier rather than later and have 1 each to travel with. Another selfish reason really, but at least this way the kids can travel too, not that they can't it there is a bigger age gap, but just this way we can do it sooner.
Welcome Sacha, you will soon love this group. We are always here for each other and I look forward to getting to know you some more.
Jem, he he he on the poo. And I think you should get to it and buy a crunchie, I might today!!
Well, unfortunately for the last 3 nights in a row Jack has woken at 2am then again at 4:30am, its times like these I wish he took to a dummy to settle him back to sleep rather than a feed.
Let make today CHOCOLATE DAY and we should all go out and get our fave choc bar and eat it - then hopefully the cravings will be over!!
I now declare today CHOCOLATE DAY - too bad almost everyday is like that for me LOL!!
I missed my chocolate yesterday too! But I did get 2 little gingerbread men from Gosh Coffee hehehe
Starfish - We nearly got there last night on the giggle-o-meter but close by no cigar!! Will try again today - DH makes her so happy when he comes home we think he could crack her hehehe
Hi ladies
Just popped in for a quick read, and to share this:
this is what i posted in general chatter:
What a start to the day!! i have only just stopped shaking!:
At about just before 8am this morning i was laying in bed with DS and heard this rumbling sound and it got quite loud, then my windows shook and i thought...WTF!!! Then my whole house was shaking!! Boy did i ***** myself and ran for a door frame! Mind you it was almost over by the time i did It lasted for only a few minutes. I quickly rang my mum after it and Yep she felt it too, so it wasnt just my over tired imagination lol.
But it really makes me feel for any one who has been through an actual earthquake...It must be so loud and terrifying I only had to run around and pick up a some things and straighten up, then console my poor cats and dogs who were hiding! But other people loose everything and can get seriously hurt.
On a lighter note..i wouldnt like to see how i reacted in an actual earthquake lol and it didnt even phase DS!!
Any way Ethan was up and down all night and has just gone back to bed, suprising beings its light as in his room, he is tired though. So im going to hop back into bed myself and might be lucky to get another hours shut eye.
I will BBL and seeing that Jem has declared this chocolate day then i will have a Hot Chocolate and a few caramel Tim Tams when i do!! Thanks Jem lol i will just tell myself its choccie day so its for a good cause!! as long as i dont eat a whole packet im sure it will be OK, hee hee :D
HI all,
Jemima, I love mint patties (did you know you can get family sized packs these days) Lol
Jemima & Mel, you two and your lil conversation has bought a smile to my face, maybe because it's a touch of normality coming back (ie lots of posts again). Shows that every one is kinda getting their groove back iykwim
I don't think your reasons for having kids close together are selfish. If you feel betteer about yourself then your kids will be very well adjusted.
Welcome Sacha and Autumn.
Zofia, LOL at your baby accessory. With a boy it's a little harder to dress him matching me, but Nathan does find it strange that I go to lengths to make his outfits at least match. Nathan will sometimes dress him in what is becoming known as a dad outfit, that seriously looks like xavier dressed himself. I do find that I dress him the way I would dress nathan if i was allowed to ;)
Few lucky it is chocolate day, 'cause now I don't feel so bad about the mars bar I had for morning tea. I must have know before I got on here.
Well we had a reasonable day yesterday, and then we went out for breakfast this morning with my work friends. He was showing off by being extremely well behaved. Helps they saw him at the good end of the day.
Right now he's asleep after his big morning. I heard quite shrill cry a second ago, but he seems to have headed right back off to sleep already. Fingers crossed for a long day time sleep.
