Babies Born July - September 2005 #4

Hi, just me the stranger popping in, work is mental at the moment & life is just hectic, I cant imagine having another child!!! LOL...

Just letting you know I am still around!!!!

Hi Ladies! Just posted in the Boohoo row....although not sure if it should have gone in the Whoohoo room :lol: I just got retrenched!!!!!!!!!!!...It is not effective until 30th of Sept ...well actually 5weeks after that date. And the payout I feel was generous ( about 10months pay...plus I was just starting to look around! Anyway will let you read all about it in my other post.

Happy to be home for the day as Kaitlyn has Gastro . She was up vomiting until about 10pm last night..never knew so much vomit could come out of such a little one!. Today she seems ok ..not eating but is drinking a little bit so I am fairly happy with her progress. Will just keep an eye on her and make sure she eats well all today.

OK ...off to play for the day :lol:

Oh Cass I reckon it was fate! Maybe you should ttc straight away and then you could still be on leave! Nice to get such a big payout, and as you said, you were starting to look anyway so it is all good. But I reckon they're losing one awesome chickie! Hope gastro disappears quickly.

Soph wow at little Ned being 7 months...all the babies are growing so fast..seems like much faster than our toddlers. Are you planning on having any more? How did you go with the house?

Well the house is starting to look gorgeous. Ive decorated the arch..it looks fabulous..if i do say so myself hehe...Ive hemmed Sammy's pants so they fit him now..im just hoping i can convince him to keep his little jacket on and not rip it off first chance he gets! Had uni this morning so I better get cracking..house to clean!

Cass - wow 10 months pay, can I be retrenched too?

I am feeling a bit better, still yuk in the mornings. We are currently trying to work out what to do when Gigi arrives, we have already grown out of the 2 bedroon unit and DH has tentivly (sp?) that if I could find something nice for under $400 a week in the Hills area, near M2/M7 we could look. He works in North Sydney so it won't be too much cost difference from the ways he gets there now. Oh and for a scan, I need to go to the Drs tomorrow to get a referral for the scan and bloods.

Wow Jo, have a great time at the wedding, can't wait to see Sammy in his tux!!

Louise, friends of mine live in Castle Hill & are renting the most fabulous house for $320 4 beds & inground pool it's beautiful!

Hi Soph,Gosh 7 months, DH & I were talking last night about how quickly the time goes. As for anymore for us, well, one day it's yes, but the next it's no. I'd need a bigger house & car although if we did it would share a room with either Zac or Angel, but I dunno, when do I stop?

Dylan played an awesome game of footy today, officials ended the game early on the mercy call, 50/0 just after 1/2 time. WTG boys woo hoo, they haven't lost one yet!(mind you, this is only the 2nd game rofl) going good so far, last week they won 60/8.
Zaccie is being a norty buggar & wont have a sleep, I've made the girls hide in their room & sent DH out, & he still wont go down, sigh , he is gonna be cranky tonight.

Storm - Hope Zac isn't too cranky pants for you! I reckon you'll be going back for another, you're such an awesome mum.

Trace - Yeap I second Storm, relax!

Louise - Good luck for the scan whenever you have it, although you won't need it because your little bubba will be bouncing around busily I am sure.

Jo - No luck with the house, but never mind. We are in no hurry and we need to win lotto first :lol: As for any more for us....DH is very much wanting at least 1 more, but I would be very content just with Lucie and Ned. I don't handle the entire feeding babies stress very well at all as you all know and have had 2 difficult feeders so far. I don't think I could handle another round of these stresses! Hope you have a lovely wedding day and it all goes smoothly.

Ok better run, Ned is getting cranky himself.

No Soph, Zac fell asleep in my arms!! Oh how I love that. Maybe one more for us, not saying a def. yes yet. Sorry for you having 2 terrible feeders Soph. I remember how hard it was with Zaccie, & to turn around & have a little porky gobble guts now, is such a shock.

Grrrr My Dh wants to buy another car. He already has 3, his work car, a hyundai excel, all hotted up, & 2 vans, plus my car, but nooooooo he wants to buy a magna wagon. Needs it for the boat, he reckons, cant take it out with the excel & too hard to put on the van roof, bloody hell.

Uhoh Angel is starting to wake up. She is having more formula in her bottle than the max amount on the can says I can make up, gosh, if she keeps going I'll be feeding her out of a 1.25 coke bottle rofl.piggy.

Hope the wedding was great Jo. & so glad Sammy is better, that must have been horrific for you all.Big, delayed hugs.

Wow Storm go Angel and the feeding!!! I shouldn't complain too much, Ned is BF still so I really don't know how much he drinks anyway. It's just he will ONLY feed to sleep, never wants it any other time, but I guess that's just him. Got him weighed today and he is now 8.2kg so sitting nicely on Mr Average line (and it's been over a month since I weighed him - how's that for Mrs Stresshead!). He's very long though, 90th percentile or something, a long lean fighting machine :lol:

Anyway just poking my head in, we've nearly fallen off page 1 again!

Wow Soph, he is doing great! & yay for being relaxed about him too. I have never taken Angel to the CHN I was there every month with Zaccie. I did weight her on my scales, I weighed me then held her & worked out she was 8kgs, I don't know if that's right though, (I hope not)

Sorry been off ....we have all come down with this Gastro...oohhhhh . So hard Dh and I trying to clean up the miss and all the vomit when we want to do the same ourselves. Anyway Kaitlyn is eating again today and Len and I are almost there( think we are about two days behind her in the virus!)

Louise did you say HIlls......you are thinking of moving our way!. Let me know if you start looking as I can have DH see what is available in his companies rental dept. Rentals are sooooooooooooooo cheap out here!. We only pay $330.00 a week for our house!!!!!!!!!!! We would pay at least double for the same where the place we own is.

Soph sounds like you are going brilliantly on the feeding front with both the little tikes!mmmmm on the TTC ...between you I and the brick wall ( as we have not really told ANYONEEEEEEEEEEEEE) We have actually been TTC since Nov06...but no luck as yet :rolleyes: (Shhhh Louise and Bec ...dont tell MG )...just want to keep it between the walls of BB for now.

So Jo....in response to your question..not sure if I will be finding another job or not yet. Just have to wait to see what is happening at that date. So not stressing to much.HOw was the wedding? I hope the weather held out!.

Trace dont stress...you are on the count down to being a mummy for the third time!. When do you start your evening shifts?.

Ok ..better run ..cooking Kaitlyn some very plain oat - no sugar biccies for the afternoon . And need to check on the Slowcooker as I have CHicken and roast veges going ...hopefully we can all stomach then!.

OMG Storm, Angel will be heavier than Zac in no time! What a chubba chub! How cute, I soooo want a baby with chubba wubba thighs but alas I don't think I'll ever have one. Oh and Lucie, mybaby girl who would never eat??? She now eats a heap!!!! And even fruit :D She scoffs about 3 mandarines a day, has jyst started eating banana and is going great guns. About time!

Awwww Soph, sigh, Zaccie still doesn't eat much at all :( as for Angel, yep, she sure has fat thighs, when I change her they hide what makes her a girl. rofl, I'm a bit sad though, I wanted her to just stay my little bubby for a while.But I guess I cant stop her growing.

Ahhh haaaaa Cass, wishing you a speedy BFP, and lots a get well vibes too!!

I start 8 til Midnight as of Jan 08! so 7 months mat leave! in 8wks & 3 days time! OMG $330 per week, OMG we were paying $180 in our last house & thought that was OTT, we now pay about $1100 a month in Mortgage repayments (although we leave both our wages in there it's a line of credit... But WOW... Prices sure are different in Syd hey!!!


Soph are you TTC #3? If you are Good Luck... Yay on Ned feeding so well & now Lucie too...

Storm, Maddy was our chubba rolypoly, Indah is slightly leaner! Indah at 18months weighed just over 10kgs about 10.050g Maddy was about 11kgs at 18months!

All is good here..had uni today. Feel like a huge weight is off my shoulders right now with my big assignment handed in and the wedding over. It went fantabulously well..realy nice...the garden looked gorgeous and natural..everyone had a great time and the kids were just lovely. Emmy and Jessie read out some lovely pieces, and Livvy and my neice Brookie held the little ring cushion and my darling Sammy stole the show in his gorgeous tux throwing petals everywhere....sooooo cute!!!!!!!!! Now I have Jess's birthday on Thursday..shes having a big friend bash on Saturaday...cant believe my big baby will be 13!!!!
