Good Morning ladies...hope you are all having a nice Anzac day!. I have been telling Kaitlyn all about how her great grandfather (peepa) was an Anzac ...totally over her head but one year it will make sense to her :D
Was meant to go over and see the BIL and SIL and the new Bubba but he has had to make a trip to wollongong so looks like we cant go until late this afternoon. This means dinner will be a rushed one as we will not get home until 6pmish ..so I have bumped the homemade pies and roast veges from dinner back to lunch and mmmm boy does it smell good in here right now!.
The miss is sleeping ...washing is washing ..floors were mopped at 6am  and Dh is munching on manderines on the lounge...so I am going to head off and read my current book "slummy Mummy" very funny book!
Enjoy your day girls ....hope you are all remember your men back then that helped keep us and our children safe today ...and of course the service men of today as well !....sorry get a bit emotional on this subject as it really was a defining part of my Peepas life...and he died of cancer directly related to a drug they were given during the war....

Hope you have a good day Cass!!
I woke up this morning to discover my little Angel has a tooth! Holey cow, where did that come from? I thought teething was mean to be a right pain in the butt? Hope all her teeth come through that easy!
Have a nice relaxing day everybody.
Oh Fletch, love your ticker pic too, how beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Girls
Cass - reading a book - I haven't done that for a while except the boring accounting books to keep the skills up. Have fun this afternnoon.
Storm - A tooth!!! Wow, lets hope they are all that easy.
well I have finally booked a scan for the 10th May and have my first midwives appointment on the 14th. The MS seems to have eased now except frst thing in the morning and if I get hungry, but the cravings have started, I just had to have a proper hamburger yesterday and please get those chocolate tim tams away from me. thankgod I lost 3 kilos in the first few weeks because I think they are going to go back on soon.
-
Yay Loiuse, it's all happening! Glad the m/s has eased off some for you.
-
Storm - it is good and bad in a way, when I have at least I know that the hormone levels are high and all is well. When I was pregnant with Maria it never entered my head that anything could or would go wrong, but after the miscarrage everything is different. I just have to wait till the scan to see my baby and its little heartbeat. Oh and my stomach has started to grow - DH is hoping it is not twins - he he.
-
You're going to be fine! There is a healthy little bubba growing in there! How funny, you have a tummy already, it's amazing how early you pop out after you first! I swear I was showing the minute I was late with Angel!
-
Cass thank you for telling us about peeps. It is always good to show gratitude for our wonderful lives we have today. We had planned as of yesterday to get to the early dawn service cos we normally just go to the day one but we ended up having 4 extra friends stay overnight so motivation was low! Enjoy your book wont you.
Louise your little bubba sounds like its growing nicely in there. Uughh hate that morning sickness though...but it is reassuring isnt it.
Oh Wow a tooth how exciting! Glad it was that easy for her!
My brother and girlfriend had their morphology scan yesterday and were hoping to find out the sex of their bubs but it had its little legs firmly crossed! I laughed thinking well maybe this little one just doesnt want to share and it is their first! Anyway hope you all have a lovely day today..relax and enjoy your family time.

Hey Girls, long time, no speak!
Just thought I would pop in quickly to say hello and let you know that I'm having a baby this week!! I'm booked in for a c-section on Thursday. I'm pretty excited - I've made it to full term for the first time and I'll get to room in with my little one and we can come home together too. It will be interesting to see how Josh goes with her. Hopefully he will like being the big brother!
Louise, I'm sorry it's belated, but huge congratulations to you on your new pregnancy! I hope you are feeling well and managing to get a bit of rest when you aren't running around after Maria.
Cass, I'll be looking forward to some good news from you soon too! It's very exciting that you are trying for #2.
Jo, I read about the scare you had with your little man. I'm so glad that he recovered well. And mum to a teenager now...wow, where does the time go? I hope Jess has a lovely weekend.
Brooke, I hope all is going well with you and your littlies.
Storm, love the new pics - gorgeous!
Fletch, Rae, Trace, Alex, Soph, hi to you all...hope you are all doing well.
Anyway, had better run - still lots to do! Bye for now!

I know, I have no idea where the time went either! Although I suspect that things will become even more of a blur for me from here on in. ;)
I'll be texting a few BB girls after the bub is born - including Fletch & Brooke - so I'm sure someone will let you all know the news... :)

So quiet in here lately.
-
Hello ladies I am being a big slacker re posting...sorry!
Just quickly ducking in to say good luck Bec for tomorrow, wow that went quickly!!!!!!!! Yayyyy!!!!
-
Oh Bec goodluck for tomorrow....yay!!!
Soph you dont have to apologise geez..its not as if you dont have a busy life with two little ones!!!!!!!!
Hope everybody is well. We had a lovely morning at playgroup...Sammy is tired out and asleep right now. We are having so many sleep dramas its getting me down so im trying to keep him as busy as i can. Yesterday he had a few hours at the fun centre and just had a ball but didnt help him sleep better at night at all. Is everyone elses little darling just going to bed with no dramas??? Tell me please I cant be the only one with the no nanize toddler???
Jo
Ha
-
Thanks everyone for all the well wishes :D
I saw the Pre-Admissions Clinic and my OB this morning and I'm all booked in and ready to go. Getting very excited!
Jo, nope, you're not the only ones having sleep dramas atm. Josh's sleeps are a mixed bag. Sometimes he goes down really easily and has a great sleep, other times can be a bit of a nightmare. He was in a really great sleep pattern up until recently when he had a really bad bout of teething and he hasn't been the same since. I'm still trying to work out what I'm going to do about it. So unfortunately no advice from me, but lots of empathy!
-
Ok so now I will try and keep on top of posting
Jo - Sometimes Lucie will go down really well too and then sometimes she really fights it. She has started sometimes waking during the night too, but usually I can go in and give her a drink of water and pick up her dummy (yeap she still has one for sleep times!) and then she is ok. I am not sure if maybe she is getting her 2nd year molars but the last week she has been a major tantruming, whiney, clingy toddler which is driving me :wall: I really hope it's just a phase that passes very soon and not the start of 'the terrible 2s'. Good luck with the sleep!
Bec - Can't wait to hear the news, I hope you can get some sleep tonight and are not too excited that you are knackered tomorrow. Good luck!
-
Thanks for your replies guys.
Bec I cant imagine how excited you are now wow!!! Cant wait to hear all about your precious little girl. Will be keeping a look out for your birth notice!
Soph id love Sammy to have a dummy..i think you have to use whatever works!!! Sammy most days will try and resist a sleep but every third/fourth day will fall asleep on the boob and have an hours rest...those days are great. Its the night sleep that is an ordeal..we have the same nightly routine but he just seems so wired that it takes about an hour/hour and half just to lie with him and settle..needless to say it gets a bit tiring doing that each night. I hope he grows out of it.
Have a lovely day tomorrow ladies

Hi Girls! Sorry I have been a stranger..busy busy!.
Jo I know I will kick myself as I will jinx it but Kaitlyn goes down fine ...for now!. This changes month to month believe me!. However she is up between 430amand 530am most mornings.
Soph dont worry Kaitlyn has two dummies for bed time hehe. She swaps them in her sleep sometimes hehe.
BEC!!!!! oh my gosh good luck tomorrow !!!!!!!!! Cant wait to hear the good news.

I'm going OK Jo, just a bit stressed with all these prob's with Angel, pead thinks she maybe lactose intolerant, been through a bit this week, but holding up!!
Zaccie has been a trooper through it all, saying heaps more words now, mostly "oh no bubby yuckie" cos she has been so bad, he runs & gets cloths & nappies all the time!! So cute to see him fussing over her, he has been very concerned with it all!!!
I've been forgetting my pill too, DH & I dtd the other night then I worked out I had just O'ed, oh no !! That's all I need right now!!
LOL at Sammy rounding up the chooks!! How cute...
Hope everybody is having a nice day!
Sorry for not being around much, it's just so hard atm with Angel, poor little girl :( I think I have cried out all my tears now, I hate it when they get this ill.
-
Ah Jo Sammy sounds like th ecutest little boy.
Storm - Zac sounds adorable too. Sorry hun I must of missed it, what is wrong with Angel??? Hope all is ok!
Not much to report from me. Ned isn't feeding very well atm though and I am worried it might be another UTI. Can't get into his doc today though so will wait and see how we go over the weekend first. As for me, the weight is literally falling off in chunks and I am eating rubbish. Don't get me wrong I am v happy about it, just hope it's just 'cos of BF and nothing more sinister.
-
Storm Im so sorry you are having a rough time with Angel...what has been going on with her??? Its so awful when little ones are sick. Thinking of you.
Soph yay for you. Have you been feeling well in yourself while you are losing weight? Ive never lost been one to loose much through breastfeeding but i know it does happen. Im sure its nothing sinister..i can imagine you must be just be so busy with two little ones so close in age.
Jo
-
She's been vomiting & having the most awful nappies imaginable. She was put on thickner for the chucking, & she stopped then she got such bad, bad runs. Turns out she's lactose intolerant & for the past month I have been giving her formula that makes her sick, forcing her to keep it down with the thickner, causing her to have the runs, generally just making her sick, in pain & unhappy. I feel so so bad. I should have known something was wrong, but I didn't.
-
Storm honey you could not have possibly known at all, don't make yourself feel bad! Is she on lactose free stuff now? You are a great mummy to have done something about it and now she will be much happier. You are doing a fab job.
-
I can't help it Soph, I feel rotten. Yep she is on S26 LF & had a huge nappy blow out at 4am this morning, but it wasn't sour smelling, so maybe she is getting better. It's been so hard this week.
-
 Oh Storm Im so sorry..please dont beat yourself up about it..youve werent to know...and look at what a marvellous job you are doing to even recognise it..i doubt i would be able to pick up on it at all. Hope the little darling is starting to feel better now. Big hugs to you:hug:
Jo
-
She must be, she's been playing on the floor for over an hour & there have been no more poopah's .
SORRY about my big tantrum too, I was just feeling so guilty.
Thanks for your kind words Soph & Jo, I do feel better.
-
Storm you tantrum away whenever you need to..(not that i think you were lol). Its good to get it all out. Glad she seems to be on the mend though..go Angel.
Jo
-
Yep I hope so, she has had another nappy blow out, but again it wasn't sour, so I guess she still has some lactose in her system.
Zaccie was hysterical at Dylan's footy game today, he was jumping up & down yelling & getting really excited & clapping his hands. Dylan & some of his mates even yelled out to him from the field & Zaccie thought it was great! Ohhh he's growing up so fast!!
-
Awww wont be long til hes wanting to play too!!!
Jo
