Sheree - Riley is so much bigger than his brother. Who knew brothers could be so different!!!!


Brock slept in his own room last night for the first time - in his cot. He looked so tiny in there. I used the monitor for the first time too. He only woke me once in the night. He went to bed around 8.30 or 9 I think then woke me at 2.30 then I found him awake and smiling at 7.30.

Today he's been feeding at longer intervals. I'm hoping that means an all night sleep again soon.

I'm having to change pills again as I'm getting major mood swings. I'm actually having one right now. DF is next door having a drink with the male neighbours after he told me earlier that he was too tired to take me to dinner as planned. When he left he said he'd be back soon and we'd sort out dinner (as in takeaway when he got home). It's 8.30 now, I'm starving and he's nowhere to be seen. Not happy. He is getting the wrath of a hormonally challenged woman right now by text message.

Better go now, Brocky is crying for a feed. Perhaps I should go next door with Brock and the bottle and then head back home. Might that get the message through?????

lots to read :-) which is good!

Wow a tooth already through?? I know Charli is teething but whether the darned things come through who knows. Liv cut her first when she was about 20wks. Charli is drooling like crazy, chewing anything she can etc. She also is a bit of a pooh explosion baby - doesn't pooh for days and days and then I cop the giant almighty explosion that more than likely will go everywhere. I spend a few days anticipating it and praying it doesn't happen at a really inappropriate time lol.

Jean - are you bf-ing? Why don't you express a bottle instead of formula? But in any case it's fairly normal practice by my mchn to introduce a bottle of formula - particularly at night anyways. I say introduce it now for sure. I actually expressed bottles for Charli to have at about 4 weeks as i have had friends who have had a lot of issues having their babies baby sat etc. because of not taking to the bottle cos they waited too long to introduce it. As a result they didn't get to go out on a date night/outing /wedding etc for a good 9 or so months!

WEIGHT. Ha. It's not funny but I am pretty overweight and am finding some peoples comments rather amusing as to how much they weigh and so on. As per last time, I ballooned by the end of the pregnancy to something like 130kg! But always lose a good 15-20 within 2weeks of having the baby so must carry a serious amount of fluid!(My starting weight with both bubs has been around the 106-108kg). But I find it really hard to be at home as much as I am without eating stupid things and amounts! But in any case I am slowly putting weight on and I need to stop it! I don't find bf-ing does a lot for me weight wise. I was always told you would lose weight bf-ing but I don't seem to. Then again I am not doing as much as I need to ensure that I supose.

D - my 4 year old has started getting ecsma! It's just suddenly poppped up. I wondered if it was washing powder. If anyone doesn't know there is a really great product at Coles called Euca. It's amazing and you use the smallest amount. It's in a yellow & green container and usually just one slot on the shelf. It's like $10 or something but will last a lot more washes than any other powder. Try it - VERY good and economic and I think it's better on the kids skin.

Hey Ainsley - I had a terrible birth with my first - 27hours and all the works at birth. But Charli was a 3hour labour bub and I also asked for an epi but all was going to fast and Charli didn't want to wait for the guy to come lol. I was terrified at the time and was also very proud of myself pushing her out myself! :-) Well done!

Donna - haha. You don't have to be having mood swings to find that annoying :-) I would be annoyed without the hormonal issues. Hope you can get your meds worked out etc. I keep forgetting to take my anti depressants! Such a twit. It just mainly makes me tired and forgetful (whats new on that front!?). Driving me nuts though cos I literally just forget or am too tired or whatever.

Check out my new ticker. The pic is an old one though, it was the most recent one I could manage to get loaded on it. For some reason I can't load pics I load from the camera to the laptop yet I can load them from a disc from Big W. Go figure. I'll have to head back to Big W with the latest pics I guess.

Brock slept through the night. Big yay!!!!!!! He went down just after I posted last night and woke at 6.30. It's the first time he's done it in weeks. He must've felt the tension in the household and thought it was better to sleep this one out!!!!!!

DF & I are back to talking today. He's promised a nice family day tomorrow so we are going to take a day trip with both kids. Not sure where we will go yet but it's supposed to be 23 so it will be a great day to be out and about. Tonight he's at the soccer so it's just me, miss 5 and bubs. I think I might make some jelly cakes today so we've got something nice to snack on tonight, then we will probably all snuggle up in our bed together and watch a movie.

I'm feeling pretty good today, hope it lasts. Today's my third day on sugar pills of my last pill so the mood swings hopefully will go away and I have to wait for AF to arrive before I can start my new ones. Having been on two different OCPs over a 6 week period I'm starting to get very paranoid that AF's not going to arrive. The bleeding gums and stuffy nose are not helping the situation either as that's what happens to me when I'm pregnant. I have just had a cold though, and I have had bleeding gums one other time when I wasn't pregnant so I'm sure AF will be here soon. After so many years of wanting to be pregnant who knew I'd ever be stressing for the opposite reason. It's crazy.

Start straight off with a night one or not? I can't remember what I did with my other two kids!! Yay Brock!! What a good little boy for mummy! Flynn slept thru once but hasn't done it since. Oh well, he's still a good boy!

I am also going thru the mood swings and my skin is playing up terribly. My skin looks like a sixteen year old's does, its disgusting. A friend told me she read somewhere that when bub gets to around 3 months old, all our hormones start to try and get back to normal. Until then our bodies had been bascially living on adreniline (sp?) from having a baby. Not sure if this is true but it seems to be for me atm.

Rach, Yeah I am BF and I'm going to try and express some this weekend but from previous experience, my body is not the best at expressing. I have heaps of milk but it only wants to come out for the baby!!

Ainsley, we are well, thanks. Trying to adjust to life with 3 kids!!

Sheree, Riley is a chubba bubba!! Must be so lovely for you after all the troubles with Lachlan. I am so happy for you guys that Riley is a healthy chubby baby.

Well, let me know what you guys all think re: the bottle. Oh yeah, any reccommendations on which formula to use??

Just a quick update, Ill do personals on monday.

Taylor has eczema and mild hayfever. She is now high risk for developing asthma. Keeping composure has been hard coz she seems to be following in my footsteps. I had eczema all over my face as a baby then on my arms and legs right up until I was 12 when I grew out of it and I have been on asthma meds since I was 8, although I havent had an attack in years I still feel tightening occassionally and running - forget it. I feel so bad for my little miss, we were told if she starts scratching we will need to get hand splints. Can you imagine putting a baby in splints so she cant move, its such a terrible thought. I just feel aweful!!!

Jean - I'm using Karicare from Birth. It costs around $16 from My Chemist. In the chain stores it can cost up to $20. If you are looking for some new bottles that don't cost the earth I can recommend the Happy Baby ones from Coles. We haven't had a wind problem since Brock started using them. Not sure what time would be good to introduce a bottle as Brock was being bottle fed EBM from the moment we left hospital. Your skin sounds bad, at least that's one thing I haven't had to deal with. No wonder I'm getting bad moodswings, still got all those post pregnancy hormones swimming around and then adding synthetic hormones to the mix, can't be good.

Donna: its funny i wouldnt say my first birth was terrible as i was doped to the hilt with epi peth etc etc..... this birth i was terrified especially the uncontrolable pushing sensation but like you i was so proud of myself for pushing him out. Tell you what the doctor mentioned the word forceps and i calmly said (DF told me) 'ahh no no forceps but you can try the vaccum but as i have no epi theres no forceps going near me' with that i felt Alli come down and then i shouted i need to push and to push NOW as he is coming NOW! So i flung the gas pipe and scott DF was my coach and 4 pushes later we had our little wee mite! I honestly was in shock for at least 24 hours and as Alli went to SCN for a o/n stay i woke up thinking s h i t did i have a baby ??? feeling and i felt numb but once the nurse brought him in and i held him ... did i fall in love again!

Satya: i only just found this thread lol but im so glad i did as i miss our daily catch up online. mmm your df sounds like a young man who lets time pass him by ? Is he usually a good help or do you find your doing everything and that you seem to have 2 babies not just one?

DF and i kind of had a few wines last night and it was nice but geez my head this morning at 4 am didnt feel great lol but scott is home from work or working from home today so i got a sleep in til 9am!!! (thats a sleep in with a bub haha)

This post is taking me forever today as im wanting Alistair to SLEEEP but will he NO!!! Although he is rolling his eyes and grizzling and been up since 8am! brb
Im back i have (ten mins ago) wrapped him and put him in his cot. BUt i had to go to resettle him as has he got some lungs. The pore little thing is sooo buggered but why do babies/toddlers fight sleep???? Finally he is quiet yay!!!
This should be the long 4 hours snooze we hope.

I dont know about anyone else but i dont get much done when my bub is restless like his is today ... but im not worried about it. The washing and house work will still be there later. Sometimes i can get dinner ready and cooked and feed my son Tom and DSS Lachlan (14yrs) and Douglas (17 turning 30!!) before scott gets home but that doesnt happen to often so we end up eating at 7pm (which i cringe at for the kids... me im fine but kids need to eat and be in bed before i can RELAX)
Yes we are having sooo much fun with our son Douglas (DSS) he just loves to HOVER and listen to our conversations all the time and it ****s me to tears. You would never think we have two tv both with Foxtel and you would think he is so up to date with his study the way he just plonks either in front of this laptop (which i bought and without asking) or in front of tv! It got so bad that the other month i told DF to do something as it was really ****ting me and that i was never seeing SCott without his oldest always hanging around! I dont have this much drama with my 8 yr old arghhhhh!!!
The other DSS Lachlan well i never have to growl or winge or put my foot down with him, he doesn't hover and is the complete opposite!
This weekend for instance is DF SCotts 4oth and Tom goes to his Oma/Dad house and Lachlan back at his mums and then there's Doug. Well he doesn't like his mum (long story) but as i said to Scott and he agrees totally Doug needs to go down and stay as we are have a party for adults only and i don't want kids of any age there and 17yrs in my book is a kid!!!. We even have organized little Alistair to be looked after form Sat 5pm til Sun 5pm for $70 !!! (my usual babysitter is a wonderful women) so Scott and I can relax and drink and dance and hopefully have sex without interruptions!!!

Danni - There's a product in the Johnsons baby soothing natural range called Intense Moisture Cream that says it's suitable for eczema. We've been using it on Brock as his skin got quite dry for a while there. His face has now improved from using it.

Ainsley - no my DF is usually pretty good. He does more housework than I do (as in vaccumming, cleaning showers & kitchen etc) even though the agreement was that I should do it all when I'm on mat leave. He's not so good at helping with nappies and feeding Brock. He does it on the odd occasion but not regularly. That's my own fault though as I said I'd do everything for Brock while I'm off work. He says he will help more with him when I return to work, I will have to wait and see what happens. I've told him if I don't get help I will quit work. I find it funny that he likes to hang out with our neighbours as they are all around my age, not his. I think he just likes the company of us oldies. He's now told me that he will ensure that Thursday nights are kept for us like they used to be. I always enjoyed them as it gave us a bit of us time before his daughter arrived for the weekend. Let's see how that goes.

You were lucky to still have the gas when you were pushing. They took it off me as they said I'd had too much. I think they may have given it back to me when the vac came out but I was so out of it by then I'm not sure. There's no way known I'd go though that experience again without an epi. I still can't figure out why I didn't ask for one.... it was afterall the plan. All in all though I think the worst of the labour/birth was when I was at home and was getting uncontrollable shaking with each and every contraction. Not an experience I ever wish to go through again.

I think I need to hop online more often by the time I read all the posts I barely have time to write my own before Mr Cranky Pants Cooper screams at me :doh: Very much over the whole teething thing and I think he is too! Spoke to my mum and she said that both my brother and I had 4 by 4 months, 8 by 8 and so the apple doesn't fall far from the tree apparently! DP is going to get a BIG shock when he comes home. When he left Coop skinny and with a gummy smile and now he is a chubba bubba with a tooth! Before I know it he will be drinking beer, riding a motorbike and coming home to tell me he has got his gf pregnant ARGH! :rofl: Outa time for the moment, hopefully be back so time tonight to get my forum fix! Oh and :welcome: Ainsley!

Well Alistair hasnt slept much at all today but the poor little thing has a temp on and off since the vaccine shots last tues. Its been panadol city around here. Lets hope he sleeps well tonight.

mmm dss is still procrastinating re getting a job (he thinks money grows out of dads pocket) he wants a job that pays him $20 per hour ... this is his first ever job where talking. And im getting so annoyed with him... i just told him to stop procrastinating and find something, as im not having him mopp around all school holidays (and hanging around like a bad smell.

What else can i do any suggestions ladies re this attitude nearly 17 yr old kid ?

go for it and I have always been told to do it at night. Karicare is good. The one that I have been recommended the most though is Nan as it's suposed to be very similar to breast milk in structure.

It was DF 40th party last night as it was a great night and we farmed all kids out even the baby! It was a great night and sleep in .... but our little one will be home soon and im looking forward to a cuddle i must admit.

BUB: Village/hoyts pays the best. While all my other 14 yo friends were getting $5 an hour I was getting $10 that was 10 years ago and like I said I was 14 so I am sure a 17 yo gets a more then that and I am sure that the pay rate has gone up in 10 years. Plus it has the perks of getting free movies!!

Tan: I hope the teething calms down soon. Have you tried giving Cooper a cold clean fannel to suck, dribble, chew on?? Sometimes the softness and coldness helps.

JMA: Ive tried NAN and really didnt like it...... Taylor had some seriously stinky poops and they went green ewwwwww. I have heard really good things about Karicare, we are stuck using S26 at the moment, Taylor started to refuse the bottle but I think it was the formula we tried (Novalac - colic) it smelt foul so I cant blame her for not wanting it. Now Im not game to change from S26, I know she will take it.

Well I dont really have any news, Taylor is taking her bottle again YAY and Im still breastfeeding, which this week has proved to be a struggle, I have been so sick I havent been able to get off the couch - not even to move to bed to sleep.

We were given steriod cream for Taylor which I really dont like using but the eczema is clering up fairly quickly. She doesnt like being moisurized though. I try and get her face and arms while bfing and her legs when I change her nappy. She has got a nasty case of cradle cap at the moment too..... any ideas??

Brock just got over cradle cap - he had it for weeks and it was foul. Just when we thought it was getting better it would get bad again.

My health nurse told me to put olive oil on it & scrape it off with a credit card. She swore it was the best way to do it. I just couldn't do it.

We just kept putting baby oil on it and after several weeks it lifted off and took his hair with it. He now has a big bald spot on the top of his head. Will change the ticker to his new comb over look (looks like his G-Pa now) when I can.

We had to use a steroid cream for Brock for a rash under his chin. I didn't want to use it but it just wouldn't clear without it. It's just come back again now so I'm having to use it again.

Brock had his biggest sleep ever last night. Ten and a half hours. I was actually up before him for once.

It's amazing how slowly a first baby goes and then you just want to stop time with no. 2.

Have you tried that paw paw cream everyone goes on about for the eczema under her mouth D? my friends swear by it but I am sure it probably isn't for everyone.
Cradle cap I used cetaphil every bath time and it helped clear it up really well. I was also told to pick it off - it's dead skin so get rid of it - so I did. It made Liv's scalp red straight after I did it but I don't think it hurt her or anything.

I am considered to be part of Gen Y and I totally don't expect to be an MD straight out, although I am ambitious and I know that to get to where I want to go, it will require a lot of study. :D Actually I'm sitting my STAT on Saturday and am putting in an application to do a Bachelor of Primary Education with Curtin University in Perth. Fingers crossed!
Problem with being part of Gen Y is that to do the most simple things nowadays, you have to jump through all kind of hoops. This includes stuff as simple as getting a driver's license!!

Hope all your bubbas are ok.. I still have Josie sleeping in my bed with me :rolleyes: I know that I need to get her in her bed but I'm kinda dreading it because I know it's going to mean an awful few nights of sleeplessness... any ideas or suggestions? I know I don't want her in there forever... :cryinglaugh:

Emma - Sorry if I ruffled your feathers with that term. I kinda thought it might annoy someone when I typed it, but did it anyway. I know all Gen Y's aren't like that. My DF is one of them & I wouldn't be with him if he was. He's very hardworking and has had high paid jobs as well as low ones, as long as he has a job he's happy. Good luck with your application. What do you mean about jumping hoops to get your drivers licence? In my day (god I'm showing my age now) if you lived in the country (like I did) you had to go for your drivers test with a cop in the car. I can't tell you how stressful it was in the days leading up to the test. Luckily I got one who had the hots for me (he used to visit me at work & flirt with me even though he was married) so I think I would've got it regardless. I shouldn't have bothered stressing. lol

Are you using a sleeping bag for Emma? If not I'd suggest you start using one. That way you could start her in her bed by getting her to sleep with you in it & then place her in her cot. I've found that there's less disruption using the sleeping bag. If you've got to tuck them in it wakes them up. Brock has only been in his cot for a few days but he's sleeping through the night no problem. Before that he was in a cradle next to our bed and he usually woke through the night.

Brock slept through the night again. Yay. 6.30 am wake up call. I managed to change him, feed him and put him back in his cot & he drifted off for another couple of hours and so did I. Nice. We did however have a rough evening. For the first time ever he just kept crying whenever we didn't hold him. Even gave him an extra 50 ml feed (he'd had 200 already) and it still took a while to settle him after that. Can't see any evidence of teething. He carried on for a couple of hours before he fell asleep in my arms and I put him to bed. He's starting up again now for seemingly no reason so I could be going to have a tough day. Might have to go for a nice long walk in the sunshine.

Hi guys!

We have all been really sick with the vomits up here (me included) and now we all have diaherrea (sp?)!

I gave Flynn the bottle and he took it well but didn't sleep the best. I BF him last night cause he's sick and thought he would like the comfort and he slept till 4am! I'm thinking I will give him the bottle every 2nd night now and gradually increase it.

Rach, I didn't realise that Charli and Flynn were born on the same day!

I always use a baby oil (trying really hard to remember the name of it atm :lol:) and always rub their head with the washer in the bath and then dry it fairly hard with the towel afterwards. I also always brush their hair/head. I have never had cradle cap with any of my kids. Don't know if this is down to what i do or luck of the draw!!

Gotta go to the toilet again!!

Emma, have you tried putting her in a soft portable bed with you. That way she is still with you but in her own space. Maybe you could then eventually put her into her cot and she will be used to her own space. Worth a try!

Brock rolled over from his tummy to his back last night.

He was having tummy time and wasn't very happy and I took the dummy out of his mouth and moved it across his back and he just followed it. I so didn't see it coming. Completely accidental I'm sure but it was very exciting.

I am just sitting here on the coach with Alistair asleep in his rocker and me in nightie still lol.
I worked Tues and Wed pm (1pm til 930pm) and thankfully Alli is getting so much better o.night that a) i can work b) i do get some sleep so dont feel wrotten tired the next day!

Im feeling period symptoms coming on as i havent had a period yet since he was born. Im not concerned as im so irregular anyway that why would they come back in the first 6 weeks post birth?

Can i ask a vagina question? Does anyone feel that their vagina is more muscular post the birth?

Does anyones babys have long 2-3 hour sleeps one day and cat naps the others? These babies grow like mushrooms it is amazing to watch!

Satya: wow about Broc has he done it again from tummy to back?

Thanks for your responses ladies. Satya, not a prob :D nah I wasn't too offended, don't worry!! And that's great that your little one has learnt to roll over!! Mine hasn't yet but that's because she's not a big fan of tummy time so I can't leave her down there for too long!

I am using a sleeping bag with her and it seems to be helping. She has been sleeping in the bassinet during the day without any problems and today I have her sleeping in her own cot without a problem either. I think I just need to suck it up and put her in her cot tonight!!! Wish me luck! :D

JMA/Sheree - Thanks for your responses as well - We did use the portable bed thingy when she was a littly. Worked wonders. I think it's a matter of getting her used to sleeping by herself and not with me. :D

Emma - hope the cot sleep went well last night. Brock doesn't exactly like tummy time either. He always chucks so I put him on a towel. I have to force his tummy time as he has a flat spot on the back of his head and my MCHN said the best way to try and fix it was to give him more tummy time and sleep him during the day on his tummy. I have to sit there and watch him while he sleeps though so I don't get much done around the house when I do it. Sometimes I have to watch him cry himself to sleep. It's not nice.

Ainsley - no he hasn't rolled again. He almost did though. I got so excited and then it didn't happen. You are lucky - I've had 3 AF's since giving birth. One at 6 weeks then another one about 10 days later cos I'd started a OCP that didn't agree with me and when I went off it I got another AF even though I'd just had one, then I had another one when I went off the next pill I tried but it was around 4 weeks later. I was so paranoid I was going to be pregnant with all that switching around (and we had not been careful like we should have been). The last one was really light so I was paranoid I was pregnant again but a couple of tests say no so all is well. Regarding the vag question - I don't know about more muscular but certainly tighter. I didn't expect that at all. I put it down to the stitches but I don't know if that's what has caused it.


Does anyone else find themselves comparing their bubs to other bubs at the same age for developmental milestones? I know they are all different but I can't help but do it. I went to my first mums group yesterday and was watching the other bubs and noticed that one of them was really interested in toys and was grabbing them. Brock doesn't do that. He loves watching mobiles and has one toy that he will touch if its sitting on him but that's about it. His head is still a little wonky. He has great strength in his legs and can push himself half off the towel when he's having tummy time. He just loves to sit and smiles and loves his Leap Tad toy. He smiles when it sings to him.

We are off to the Melb show this weekend. Last weekend we ended up going to Ballarat and Geelong for the day. It was a great family day out. We have my DstepD from tonight until Sunday week as its school holidays. Do you think I could get away with taking her to my next mum's group? It's a new mums group so it was all just mums and bubs. I might try to get her great grandma to look after her.

I so should be in bed, especially since Cooper has been fast asleep since 7.30!! Just thought I would touch base, it's been awhile between posts. Things are much better atm, the teething terror has settled and he is a much happier bubby! Thankgoodness!!!!!!!! We have both managed to get full night sleeps the entire week - YIPPEE! DP flys home next Saturday, it's been over 6 weeks since we saw him last, so we are mega excited.. might even go get myself a bikini wax! It's been awhile since we last DTD and its atad amazonian down there! TMI? Plus the weather is prime for days spent by the pool or at the beach... Cooper loves, loves, loves swimming! He cries endlessly when we get out of the water! I can't believe he is 3 months old tomorrow! How time flies... i baked a choc mud cake tonight (from scratch - such the domestic goddess!) to celebrate... hehehehe YUM! So next week I will have to work extra hard at the gym! yes hello im up having a cuppa tea and have Alli next to me in his rocker as he just refuses to settle in the cot after his 1 30am feed!!!! So after doing tag team with DF scott for the past 2 hours i just decided i would join Alistair and just get up and be with him and have a cuppa.
My beautiful fiance dopped me up (accidently) yesterday with two strong pain killers named Tramadol SR...200 mg in total. THey are synthetic narcotic pain killers and i only take them when NOTHING else works like naprosen voltaren panadol (thats my ****tail of choice) then Tramal if the ohers dont work with my pain ful contracting style period pain!
Scott and i went out for dinner with Alistair asleep in the pram on Frid night we had wine dinner and we talked and i really enjoyed myself. We came home put Alli to bed and had some more wine. I then decided it was bed time (10pm sh) and i walked into the bedroom as you do to go to bed when whammo uterine contraction which doubled me over. (i had been having pre period niggle all day ) Scott heated the wheat bag for me and said hang on ill get you some naprogesic.... and came back with two white tablets (scott had a few wines on board as well lol) he said here is your naprogesic thiingys. I looked at the tablets and thought oh they are voltaren thats ok and i took them mmmm wrong move haha. I woke up a few hours later as i though i better have another naprogesic as it has been 4 hours and the pain was still there a bit .... i looked in our medicine box and discovered oh **** scott gave me Tramadol SR even stronger thean my usually presribed Tramadol. I though holly crap these pains must be strong if i have had two tramal and im still sore! I didnt take anything else i had a drink re heated my wheat bag and returned to bed. Then an hour later i woke up for the loo and whammo did i feel drugged to the max but there wasnt a pain in sight!! I was dopped up to the eye balls for 16hrs from 2am til about 5pm . Then wouldnt you know it the uterine pain was felt once again at about 5 30 pm when all the drug had worn off!!!
Scott was so appologetic that he gave me the wrong stuff. lol
Well my Alistair has finally dropped off to sleep so i might as well on this couch !

Tan: Am so glad to hear Cooper has settled down a bit

Satya: Taylor rolled at 8 weeks.... I thought it was a fluke but everytime i rolled her back she did it again, in saying that she has done it one other day since then and thats it. Its so exciting when they start doing things LOL I was squeeling when taylor rolled.

I dont have friends with babies (and I havent been put into a mothers group so its very lonely) but I am always checking in magazines and online what milestones to expect. Remember every baby is different. My brother is almost 5 months now and he hasnt rolled from his belly to his back yet.

Just had to add that my Alli has been asleep for the last hour and the last 10 mins or so he has been 'crying' 'yelling out' and 'talking' and then i go down to see if he is awake NOPE eyes a fully shut ... tell you what it must be a fantastic dream but hes going to be buggered when he wakes up lol

Bub: Taylor does that, its actually quite funny.

Tan: The photos are gorgeous, much better then my belly shots!!!

I just wanted to ask how do you girls get your bubs to sleep?? We rock Taylor because its what they did while I was in hospital for 3 weeks and she kinda got used to it but people who babysit dont quite understand why she doesnt just fall asleep herself.

smudgies_mum: I wouldnt say you personally would have been 'checked up on' but your delightful partner needs to be .....seriously i do hope your feeling clearer and at least enjoying your baby!

ok... quick update.

I decided to try for childcare one day a week and funny enouh the second place I called had a vacancy and as soon as she told me I burst into tears. Im not sure I can do this. I want to look for a job a few days a week or go to the gym or something to get out of this bloody house. I dont want to leave her with someone else though, she is so young still but I need some confidence if things dont work out for the best and well a job is the best place to get that. I dont want to work ft because i dont want to miss all the milestones.
