Quick one, but Yaaaay for Belle - Girls are just the best, and hey Erica, yaaay for the positive opk the green light from DH and one hot avy!!
Erica - it was soo nice to meet you, DH and Lachlan! You are a gorgeous mumma and have a wonderful family. It was a pity Lachie decided to be a diva about his toys(as cute as he was) and I hope he settled for a sleep once everyone left. I hope he enjoys the present P picked for him. Unfortunately P was overtired and cried til we got on the freeway before he fell asleep, and then he only slept til Wyong
AND I love the avvy!! Very nice!! and big yay for being on the TTC wagon - DH get clucky after all the bubba's on Sunday???
Dani - I hope DJ is on the mend again, and hopefully the fits can give him a longer break (or kindly pee off altogether!)you're a very strong mumma
AP, Tali and Sas - hi, and sorry for nothing more personal
Well... apparently I'm almost 20weeks!! We had our scan yesterday, and bub was looking very cute, and healthy. The 4D scan wasn't the best, as bub was cuddled into the placenta, but we did get a lookThe placenta is anterior this time, but high so no problems there, but it does explain why the movements I feel are soo sporadic. By this stage with P it was a non-stop party
but at least now I know that it is okay and I'm not stressing when I don't feel bub move for 20hrs. I can also reveal they are pretty certain that we are having a little girl! I nearly jumped off the table when she told us, and I made her check 5 times just to be certain
You are all sworn to secrecy though, because we don't intend on telling people (well I have told my BFF who is 6weeks pregnant!)

Damn, all these people getting knocked up and the rest having no AF ... I'm soooooo over babies and been having AF religiously since Theo was 3 months old lol ... AF has got shorter and heaver after baby #2 and #3. MUCH shorter and MUCH heavier after #3, which created a lot of messy sheets/clothes until I figured out that what I've been doing about it for the last 20 odd years doesn't work anymore. Bah.
Theo is just being a cute lump, well, not so much a lump for a while there, his percentile had been slowly dropping from 75th to 25th and he was noticably petite - only one chin, no rolls, no rubber band wrists, and only a light covering of lard all over. Then he decided to ramp up the BF to hourly all night and sort of inflated into a fat baby with chins and rolls within a week. Now he's back to 2-4 hours at night.
Last night was awful, he went to bed at 10 (this is early for him) and woke up at 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4:30, 5, 5:30, and stuff it you can stay in our bed now, 8:30. He'd grown out of his old onesies so last night was the first night he went to bed in just a onesie and no jumper (we were trying new onesies on the poor child and I forgot the jumper) so I'm not doing THAT again. Other half is normally a really bad, light sleeper (gee, wonder where the kids get it from) and he has a fever at the moment and actually slept through it all, which is REALLY unusual for him.
Since Theo was so fashionably late he's still not 1 until July 4th, and he's not having a party until July 9th, which is my father's birthday. We're probably going to round their birthdays together for ages. Miss 3's birthday gets rounded to Xmas and Miss 10 has only ever had 2 birthday parties at home with her friends because her birthday is such a terrible time of year too. At least the other half gets an entire public holiday to himself for his.
Hey ladies,
UntoldAngel - was so lovely to meet you and P too. Lachie loved his gifts, but we're going to staggar giving them all to him so that he has new stuff to play with later on! haha HOORAY for team Pink!!That is super exciting that you'll have one of each.
Sas - Hiya! And thanks! thebeings! ARGH!
RumpledElf - omg I can't believe how often you were getting up last night, I would have gone CRAZY! Glad that Lump is putting on weight again
Tali - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to HARLEE!!!!
Dani - how is DJ going? Hope his fits have stopped and you have some more answers?
AFM - as I said, officially in the 2WW.. trying not to get too excited about it.. as it's only the first month of us officially trying and my cycles being all over the place. So just thinking positive thoughts, taking my folate and doing some dreaming. If I fall PG this month I'll be due end of March 2012... so be heavily pregnant through summer..Send me some

I'll keep you all posted.
Lots of Love xox
hello ladies!
BR: woot! on TTC and the +ive OPK! tww sucks. i guess i was blessed in the lack of true thought that went into TTC Dj - was a "supprise" and vic a "if it happens it happens" hopefully it wont take you too long.
U.A : WOOT A GIRL!?! soo excited for you darlin'! i'm kinda stalking your Pg on FB...*cluck*
Elf: LOL! thats kinda what vic did. but he's now still just under the 50th. the MCN told me to "feed him more" yep...i is love, but when my boy aint hungry for anyting but boobie...he wont eat! my a/f i had two at twenty-effing-one days apart now...i think shes on her way around day 28 LOL. sooo glad im starting the minni pill to control the red--biatch!
AFM:
Been busy here. as most of you know DJ thought it'd be a smashing idea to have 9 fits in 12hours - with all the drugs we could admisiter at home. so off to the local hospital. my folks drove the 3hours in the middle of the nigh to watch vic as i was in with DJ and DH had work. we're now on the max dose of keppra. the minium of eppi-lim and have rivatril and madaziln on hand too. i look like a druggie when i go out with a bag of drugs - blunt (no needle) syringes and a spoon ALL in a plastic bag in my hand-me-drugs-bag. here's hoping i *dont* get pulled over any time soon. that'll leave the copper going![]()
i've started working on stuff for vic's birthday. its not huge but with the people who live on our street comming i thought i'd better *try* and look like a good mumma haha. we bought vic a train with blocks and a thomas the tank DVD. i think others have bought him that too - as we asked for nothing (but D from next door his mum told me off for that LOL)
Vic is saying mum and dad and "nan" haha plus buuuurrrrrrr for car and "up" but not walking unaided yet.
Better go. my eyes about to shut on me!
Talking is funny ... my first started talking VERY clearly at about 6 months, second at around a year, third just babbles away happily to himself, lots of sounds but none have meaning attached to them yet (other parents would be strutting around saying he says "mum" and "dad" and "bub"). I was convinced my second one was some kind of really slow starter until I actually read the paperwork and found out she was normal and it was the first who was freakishly early
Accidentally let the lump sleep from 3-6 while I was working so I doubt I'm going to get much sleep tonight either ...
Hiya Mamas!
I have a very grumpy teething monster for a baby today. He didn't want to eat his porridge. He's getting 2 more teeth and is in alot of pain. Sad for him.
I've also decided that after we finish our formula that we have in the house I'm going to put Lachlan onto cows milk and stop formula. He's now on 3 x 180mL bottles of formula per day and water in between. I'm trying to drop his daytime bottle so he has one when he wakes and at bed time. He's also drinking through a straw sippy cup now which he couldn't do last week. Yay!
I think we DTD too early this month for me to be UTD. I heard sperm can live for up to 5-7 days in optimal conditions. We DTD on Tuesday and I O'd on Friday ( yesterday). I had EWM yesterday and a temp dip down to 35.9C, and a +ve OPK so I'm pretty sure I O'd. so if DH's swimmers survived for 3+ days then there is a very small chance that they found my egg yesterday but I'm not holding out hope. It's only our first month of TTC. I'm just so excited I O'd ... At all!!![]()
Will keep you all posted
Have a good weekend.

LOTS of sticky vibes!!!!! We dtd the day before and after ewcm (sshhh don't tell DH!!) so pretty sure that's when it all happenedNot that we were trying (we were more not trying than trying) but hormones are at peak then
Would be awesome if you fell that quickly Erica! A girl in the other baby group (June 1-15 which I'm also part of) fell pregnant on their first TTC cycle
Thanks Belle. I'm only 2DPO so got a while to go yet before I can test. I'm scrutinizing every niggle and pain I'm having down there which isn't good! It's going to do my head in! Trying not to think about it too much. This is my first month properly TTC so I'm not expecting a BFP but it would be awesome.

Ooh, you and know Erica, it's the girl sperms that usually live that long too,
Dani - Man, I feel for you, I know your Dr's are doing the best they can but I really hope for you they find a combo that works for him soon. Poor little thing. My SIL (pretty bad epileptic since teens) a couple of years ago found her fits were getting worse, and worse, and they had her on the max of three different drugs. In the end the Dr's found that the wrong anti-convulsants were actually causing her to have extra convulsions, it must be tricky to find out what works for different conditions I suppose. But light at end of tunnel, they did end up weaning her off them and finding one that works. Thinking of your little man hoping they can do the same for him real soon.
Miss L a bit the same as the rest with the weight drop, but then she did start walking at 10 months and now careens around everywhere and climbs up on ridiculously high things and burns all these calories and decides to go on a food/bottle strike, just wants boob, and we all know I don't have enough to put fat on her regardless of how often I feed her which is naturally all through the night when she does that (Rumpled - I hear ya sista). So she isn't a chubba anymore eitherWhat can you do, can't force feed em, she looks well enough, just slim.
Oh sas I would heart a little girl so much but I don't think it's going to happen any time soon! My BBTs are still low at 3DPO and I should have seen a temp rise if I'd O'd so I'm thinking I had an LH surge but no ovulation. So have ordered some more OPKs off the net and am charting diligently.
Keep that baby dust coming!!
And wow sas your little princess walking at 10 months! Awesome! She must be burning a few more cals now that she is up and going. As long as the doc isn't concerned by her being slim I wouldn't worry too much :hugs:
to RumpledElfs little man!!!
to everyone else!!

Hiya Mamas!
Hope everyone is well. I'm hating this TTC rollercoaster, having PCOS makes it so much more uncertain. I thought I O'd last week with a +ve OPK but I had the hormone surge without releasing the egg as my BBTs remain low post-O.. so I guess I haven't O'd yet. Still a chance this month to catch that egg, but I just want to have a normal cycle dammit! Ok rant over.
Our place still hasn't sold. It's been on the market for 3 weeks now. We've had one offer but it was way less than what we wanted so we knocked it back. Still living with mum and dad, which is fine for the most part.. DH is a little freaked about DTD with all the other people in the house, which doesn't help my TTC cause one bit.
Lachlan is *almost* walking.. I think he's going to get it in a week or so. He lets go of what he's holding on to, takes a couple of steps and then plonks his butt on the ground. I think he gets a bit overwhelmed and forgets what to do. It doesn't help that we're all flapping around like chooks with our heads cut off cos he's taken a couple of steps.
Have an awesome day!
Theo didn't have much of a birthday, he was still too sick. This is the cold to end all colds.
He was actually crawling a bit and smiling last night so must be getting better - this is almost like going back to babyhood again. He hasn't been cute for a week - he's been a pale, green, puffy eyed floppy baby![]()
Poor little Theo! Hope he's feeling better now?
AFM - CD 21 and still waiting for O. Got some EWM today but -ve OPK so not sure if O is coming. Will keep testing. Cross your fingers for me!

FX for you BR!!
I been under the weather myself.. lots of boogers here, 2 hrs sleep on Tuesday was not nice at all.
Harlee is trying to walk, still just standing on her own, but she's been doing that for a while. She is a terror, I'm constantly cleaning her messes as she goes.. it's never ending and it tires me out so much. She climbs all over the furniture and demands attention from EVERYONE.
Her 1st birthday was fun, just the 2 families came, the ones who cared (my side) and the ones that took it as a opportunity to get into dh's shed, not happy, dh and his brother & sil were in his shed half the time. shows how much he cares. wheres that bloody angry face.
Nothing I could do about it as mil always says he should spend lots of time in the shed, doing things he likes because he needs a break from us ( who he see's for 2 hours every night, which is apparently too effing much.)
*breath in.. breath OUT******
I am REALLY looking forward to seeing Dansta real soon!
Tali big hugs hun... Hope Harlee enjoyed her party
Okay I need to rant, so I apologise.
Yes I understand that falling pregnant is not easy for everyone, and that some people go through a lot of heart ache before they are blessed with a baby, but if I say that both my babies were 'woops' as in they weren't planned, then I can. I am not saying it to rub it in your face, or to lessen the value of my child.
Okay rant over and I'm sorry if I've offended anyone in here because that is not my intention
