Firstly, a big thankyou to you all for your kind wishes and thoughts after my nans passing. It really means alot to me.
Bath - you are so kind, thank you for the offer of looking after the girls, but I totally agree with you about the funeral. We have decided it would be a good thing for Chelsea, as we have explained to her what happened and she knows that Nana Edna has gone to heaven and this is the time to say goodbye. Melb weather is horrid! It has been so cold today, esp this morning. Now I know why I love Qld weather. Make sure you do pics of your gingerbread men, I would love to try and make them. LOL about you in front of the dryer!
Rory - such a true sentiment! Our time here is never enough.
IK - cool you got your money back on the webcam! Are you getting a new vac soon? Must be driving you nuts. Your friend and I must be in the minority by not finding out the sex of our bubs, people thought it was quite strange that I didn't for either pregnancy. I loved having my ultrasounds, it was so cool to see my little baby floating around, safe, content and having a great time! I sometimes wish there was a few more in the later stages. I don't know how you managed to change Oscars nappy and not wake him up, thats legendary LOL!!!! I could never do that with Marley. Hope the doggies are OK.
Julie - what a good post! Love the long ones, I get my coffee and read away! I can imagine it would be weird knowing when you baby was going to be born, maybe a bit more scary too! BBQ sounds good, esp snags! Pity its getting far too cold for barbies in Melb ATM!
Emma - sorry, I must have missed Caitlyn's birthday! Hope she had a lovely day, I struggle to keep up with who's birthday is when. How are you going with full time work? I am due to go back to work in 4 weeks (only 2 days a week) and am really looking forward to it.
Nic - hope you find the folder!!! I think I remember some b'days but not all of them. Maybe those that don't have them on their ticker, quickly add them so we can note them all down? I hate missing someones b'day.
Chelsea's first Tues at kinder (I changed her days ready for when I return to work) and she didn't seem to notice it was a day earlier than normal! The rabbits arrive at the kinder this afternoon, so I will no doubt here all about it this afternoon. Haven't really left the house today, too cold again! I hate this really cold weather, bring back a bit of sunshine. Clothes horse is over the ducts and dryer going too. Marley is sleeping so thinks its time for coffee and some chocolate!
-
Hi Emma – Happy belated birthday to Caitlyn. Lol at bossy britches and I don’t blame you for using the same cake twice! Will is only a lightweight too – 8.2kg a few weeks back. I’m just glad he’s finally got on the percentile scales with his height as he wasn’t even on them before then. Poor little chap is destined to be a shorty I think.
Nic – Website is the photobucket one – login jaffnjules, password Boddle02. Vids aren’t that exciting and probably abit long – we take them for my parents so they can see what they are like as they don’t see them very often. Found my 2nd c/s so much better than the first one even though I didn’t think that was too bad and that was an emerg. I ought to get around to doing a birth story/ debrief for them both just to get oscar’s out of my system but I was really happy about the elective with Will and the recovery was so much quicker.
IK – Hope your doggy is ok. Wow that Oscar slept through his nappy change = can’t imagine that happening in this house!
Bath – Looking forward to seeing the decorated gingerbread men.
Mel – Glad you liked the long post! I wondered if anyone would bother as it was such a monster! No doubt it will be all about rabbits in your house for quite a time to come! Wish I had some chocky in the house! I personally think you are doing the right thing taking the girls to your nan’s funeral. I wasn’t allowed to go to my grandpa’s when I was 7 and I still feel abit ‘robbed’ that I wasn’t allowed to say bye the same way everyone else was.
Had my walking group this morning which was really nice. It was so cold to start off with so I loved rugging both kidlets up. Everyone has a giggle about it when I turn up with them in fleecy stuff and blankets as it’s not really THAT cold but these 2 were born in Townsville so are used to warmth plus they both have the colds still so I don’t want them getting any worse. By the time we’re finished it’s quite warm so Oscar’s coat can come off as he’s running around the park but the wind was still abit chilly. I love it as this is our first winter in 5 years – the first 6 months of Oscar’s life he was just in a singlet and nappy so love finally being able to put them in clothes. Right I’ll stop rambling on now as don’t want to create another monster!!
Hope you're all having a great day
Julie x

Confession time: My gingerbread people are from a packet mix!!! They are finished and iced (one a bit cheeky:p ) photographed and on my Photobucket site. The box, the shaped cutter and the icing tube are in the photo too so if you want to try it you will know what to look for on the supermarket shelf. Now that I have done the tests I'm going to let Wade and Verity ice the rest when she gets home from school.... better go deal with the mess now and think about cooking some "growing food" (dinner) LOL
-
LMAO Bath - you are too funny! The middle one will definitely be Niall's favourite.
-
Hehe... if he can grab it off DH who will no doubt have his eyes on it! ;) Going to check out your site now too Julie :)
-
Ok I remembered who was on the 7th Alexander (Gabysmum).
Well Cody bit me yesterday and it just wasn't a bite it was a bite and yank his head back, boy I was not happy. But I think he learnt his lesson as he hasn't done it since, when he did it he wasn't allowed any more boobie so I will have to wait and see if he does it again.
Hello to everyone Mel and Julie, wow on your large posts, Bath gingerbread men and lady look great.
hugs xoxo
-
OOWWWWWWWW Amanda - that sounds so sore. mmm i think i better shut up as i seem to be hogging the Junies thread with my mammoth posts!
Bath - showed my DH your gingerbread picky he laughed but wanted to know where the chaps bits were! Typical! I did point out that these were for the kids! I'm going to look out for the packs so i can make some too but i think with DH suggestions they might become x-rated and not for the kids!!
-
Julie - you were right! I have been hearing all about rabbits tonight! They have a mummy rabbit and 6 babies who were only born 2 days ago so they are all pink and Chelsea told me they were sleeping and can't come out until they grow fur! You do well to go out walking in the cold, I just have no motivation in this weather. Must feel strange to have a winter after living in such tropical conditions. I love Qld weather, I hate the cold.
Bath - I love the gingerbread people!!! They look fantastic, esp the cheeky one!! Which supermarket did you get them at? I shop at Safeway and can't recall seeing them. I have already added them to my shopping list. Chelsea will love to decorate them. Good activity to do on a rainy day.
Amanda - oooooh, no good!!!! That must hurt like hell.
Last week I made Marley some tuna, mashed potate and rice balls, rolled in breadcrumbs and fried. She went nuts over them, scoffed them! Today I go to extra trouble and put creamed corn, mashed sweet potato and grated carrot and zucchini. They look even better than the first lot. She took one mouthful and screwed up her face and spat them out!!!!! Whats going on there??? I was so annoyed. She picked at them for a bit longer but wasn't really that keen. Might have to go back to the basics again. She hates been spoon fed, so I try to give her finger food at all meals now and with her allergies, her diet is pretty boring. Things we do.....:)
-
Julie, I take my hat off to you with that post - it was great cause it served as a summary of so many goings on!
Better be quick, tho - its really late. All is well with me - Flynnie is being Osama Bin Flynn (aka The Terrorist, as he is known ATM) for his random acts of waking in the middle of the night and crying. Shouldn't complain, because he is an all round easy kid most of the time. I have been so worried about number two being a horror that it was nice to have the thought last night that maybe Flynn is our "difficult" child! (he's never been a great sleeper.....)
Amanda you are an ace with remembering birthdays!! and nice to see you Emishka:)
well, ciao for now, bellas

Niall and Aneta were both born on the 13th. Thanks soooo much for that Nic! :)
Julie: LOL I did contemplate adding "the chaps bits" but... well they just aren't terribly aesthetic are they! ROFL
MEL I would have bought it from either Coles or our local IGA.... can't recall... it was about $4 - $5.... good value... made about 28 biscuits.
-
thanks Bath, i thought they were the 13th but JIC didnt wanna get it wrong! cause your DD is 23rd dec isnt it or 3rd dec? I remember there is a 3 thing running in your family.
-
Correct Nic :) Nothing wrong with your memory! Verity is the 23rd, Wade is the 3rd. I just love the symmetry... or the trinity... or whatever it is! LOL
-
yeah its pretty cool i think Bath!
Remember that member who i think only posted once but she had 3 babies all born on the same day in June! and she was in "take that" mag too.
its funny cause my sister has 2 DD 18m apart they are Oct and April born
I will have 2 DS born 18m apart and hopefully April & Oct born!
the 2 april bubs are born 4 days apart and i am due only a week after her other DD so would be freaky if there ends up being 4 days apart with them also! (but 3yrs diff)
On the other hand my birthday is the 7th and Nixon's 17th, would be cool to get a bub on a 27th to run in the family! or DH is the 5th and if this one comes on 15th
ok i prob confused everyone what im talking about now LOL, bub we all know will picks its own birthday what ever date that decides to be!
-
Knock knock
Hi everyone sorry it's been so long but as you can all appreciate sometimes things need shelving for awhile while we do other stuff. It's so great to hear you pregnant ones are doing well and I want to give all our beautifull Junie Babies a big Birthday kiss. Mwwwaaa. :happyforyou: :happybirthday::confetti:
I can't believe that they are all, well nearly all, one years old already.
A big hi to everyone I have skimmed through this thread, Ok not going to do personals as there are too many things to comment on but just want to say.
hugs Amanda, how terrible, boys boys boys. lol.
IK yay for finishing your assignmets for the semester, woohoo.
Well my other stuff has certainly had me busy. Michael quit his job back in April to come home to look after the kids while I did prac. It was so lovely having him home these past 5 weeks or so, but sadly he has now left the country to start his new job on Friday, Phew for the bank they will be happy as we have sucked our savings dry, lol. His first pay is the 1st of July eeekkkk hope the credit card holds out, lol. It was worth it though and how many Fathers get the opportunity to be at home full time with their kids for five weeks. He loved it, He told me that although he knew it wasn't easy keeping house with 5 children he now has a whole new appreciation off me, he is soo sweet. Hmmmm he's not much of a house cleaner though, lol but an excellent cook. I will be cooking my first meal in four weeks tonight, lol. I took today off to drive him to the airport, so I will actually finish my Teaching Prac on Tuesday instead of Friday.
It has been fantastic, OMG I ... although I knew I would like it and could do it ...I didn't realise how great it was going to be. I can't wait to have my own class. My Host Teacher (who is 33 weeks pregnant) is fantastic and the kids are adorable. Bath if you get the opportunity, do it, it is fantastic. Ohhh Ik my HT is doing Hypnobirthing classes, it made me think of you. We have had a few discussions on birth and babies, it's her first, she's really excited. It made me a little envious. But I have made the decision that I don't and won't have anymore. I think I have plenty.
Well better go cook the tribe is starving and it is cold and wet, a nice hearty stew is on the boil I think.
Then I need to get in and finish off my planning for tomorrow and have my resources finished. I still have three assignments due the 14, 15 and the 18 of June. Still very busy. Can't wait for holiday's.
-
Hi Dee, yes it's going to be a party in here for the rest of the month! Sounds wonderful that your DH was able to be a SAHD for 5 weeks, I agree, nothing better to establish a true appreciation for the job of Home Duties... I don't think my DH could do it... he needs the feedback that working outside the home provides, and the social contact... I need these things too, but I can wait a bit longer I guess. Yeah, I know the feeling of accomplishment when you succeed in running a classroom for a day or two... when staff were absent where I worked before I had Wade they would let me run the show and hire the agency (qualified) person to assist (they didn't know the routine, I did)... I loved the challenge of keeping the class atmosphere relatively calm and productive.... not easy with 25 three-year olds! Why is it harder for me to deal with 1 (Wade) these days is what I want to know?!!! LOL admitantly i do have a baby and a tempremental-nearly-teen to deal with at the same time but still... ah children! So humbling!!!
speaking of which a drama is about to unfold in the pantry regarding allocation of gingerbread biscuits... better go sort...
-
HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY RYAN AND SAMUEL.
Nic Ryans was today, and I think Alexandra's is in July as well. What about Karen's Nathan. Congrats on getting MOTM, I wonder if any more Junies will get it.
Dee great to hear from you, that's great that Micheal got to be home with you and the kids for 5 whole weeks, it would've of been bliss.
Bath how did the drama go with the gingerbread men go, while I was at shopping I saw them there, did you also see the pinwheels they looked interesting.
Julie don't worry about doing long posts, I love reading them and wish that I could do it more often.
Well it was mine and DH 3rd wedding anniversary yesterday, didn't really do much, and it's my birthday on the 13th of this month, I'm secretly hoping to get the slow cooker that I've been hinting at for a while only have to wait another week. My boob isn't to bad.
I brought some tuna today wanting to do like a tuna salad if you can call it that but I don't know what to put in it, what I mean is like the one with mayo and stuff in it and I don't know what the other stuff is can anyone help.
I'm just waiting for the lasagne to finish cooking for dinner, better go for now, I'll try and get back later.
-
Amanda: fresh tuna? you could add similar ingredients as to a warm chicken salad: shredded cos lettuce, olives, cherry tomatoes etc... maybe being fish some thinly sliced fennel or some fresh chives? You could be adventurous and try adding a fruity ingredient like diced mango (I saw them on sale here... crazy time of the year for it!) or nuts...
gingerbread allocation ended in tears because it was too close to dinner...
now DH has just walked in the door after doing a 12 hour day....
-
Rory - PML big time with the description of Flynn - Osamar Bin Flynn!!!!! Told DH and he thought is was hilarious too!!
Nic - thanks for the list, will keep that handy now so many birthdays are coming up. We have absolutely no symmetry at all with birthdays in this house, they are all over place.
7th - DH sounds like he loved his time as a SAHD. Life sounds so hectic for you, don't know how you fit it all in. Its great that this new career has proved so rewarding for you already.
Bath - will check out Coles when I go to buy my nappies ($30 for a big box for those who didn't know) tomorrow.
Amanda - happy 3rd anninversary for yesterday. Hope dropping hints helps you get your slow cooker for your birthday.
Marley had swimming then I had a GF and her 2 kids over for lunch. The bigger kids played outside for a while as it wasn't too cold. After my whinging about Marley not eating the delicious tuna patties I made yesterdya - I take it all back, she at them tonight!!! I don't know whether they were a little too mushy inside for her and today they were a bit firmer, who knows but at least she at them (3 in fact!).
-
Nic, great work on the birthday list - Flynn is one on the 11th!
And happy birthday to our Junie babies who've had or are about to have their b'days :)
Gotta be quick - work tomorrow. Took the Feral to a play centre today with Mothers Group - was so proud of him cause I kid twice his size tried to push him away from a toy he was playing with and Flynn pushed right back and persisted. He ended up pulling himself up on the other kid who eventually got jack of the situation and walked off. Yay Flynnie!!
-
Hello peoples!
Nic thanks for the list!
OK....WE GOT THE 4BR HOUSE!!!!!!! and we sign the lease tomorrow. Bath, we are going to video the house for the inspection so if we move out we can show all problems! Make sense?
-
Jess: Yay!!!! Perfect sense! Make sure the real estate agency or who-ever get a copy of the video from the start so they can't accuse you of editing it etc. We took photos of the dodgy parts of this house when we moved in and gave them copies for the file. Turns out the landlord is lovely and understanding... but you never can tell with these things....
gotta get to bed... been up too late watching tv (the Robinsons ABC) with DH drinking Baileys and Whittaker's 70% cocoa chocolate..mmmmmm
-
Congrats, Jess! Long time coming!
Heaven - I can totally understand you being MIA, great to hear what you've been up to, the teaching sounds fun. Good luck with your assignments (are they instead of exams? I think I prefer assignments!).
Happy Birthday for Samuel!
Anneliese, the premmie Junie, is nearly walking and life is looking good for that little family back in Perth :)
Mel - It certainly has been frosty cold lately, but I love to rug up in my knits, so I can't complain about Melbourne, or my wardrobe would be half as interesting ;)
Amanda - had to wince about the pulling back story, Oscar went through that stage, and I'm sure he'll go through it as the other teeth start coming up, but so far, so good. I hope you have recovered (mentally as well as physically).
If anyone in Melbourne is looking for nice things to look at over the long weekend, the Belgrave Fire Station will have its annual Art Show on till Monday and it's free entry. I have to say in all honesty, that this year's art is captivating. Last year's range was ok, the year before less so, but this year I am very enthused! It's top notch this year - the pastels are awesome, and there are some great florals and animals.
Just back from brigade and Oscar did NOT fall asleep in the car on the way back as planned...grrr...still quite awake...
I know I've missed saying some things I wanted to say, sorry, but I have to deal with bedtime now!
-
Happy first birthday to Alexander! (Gabysmum)
Ifound the list so ive updated it! Amanda, Ryan was actually the 11th with Flynn, its all coming back to me i remember getting text msg's now!
Mel- whoops sorry i spelt marley's name wrong. My gf has a MARLI and i got confused.
Jess- congrats on the house good stuff!
Dee- ah i remember u telling us last time that DH was going away for a new job, thats great he was a SAHD for 5 weeks with 5 kids!
my DH has gone to QLD today for 3 days, then in a weeks time he is off to LA & Miami for a week, for a confrence.
-
Afternoon girls :) French music this morning then went into the city to have lunch with DH and checkout the Clock and the MYER Thomas Tank Engine table... Melbourne Junies know the deal... got two tired boys and a messy house... will pop back in and out if/when I get the chance :) Also met up with a neighbour... might be having a small party for Niall on his birthday afterall! After his injections! Is that asking for trouble??? LOL He dealt with the needles extremely well last time... any other June babies having theirs soon?
-
Sorry, no personals. Like you Bath, I just got home. I picked Oscar up from SIL's and he crashed...he was so floppy bringing him into the house, which was great because I have so much to read...then the bloody dogs barked and he was up[ - GRRRRRRRRR! There has been some verbal abuse directed at the dogs and some swearing, but I stopped the swearing because it was attracting Oscar's attention. DP's not home, but Oscar is happy enough squealing at the dogs. Little bugger should be asleep! He was wrecked! But he's rather play with the dogs than sleep and if they hadn't bloody well have barked he would still be unconscious. GRRRRR!
-
Hi i am new too this site my third baby Kailaia was born 060606 and she is living up to her birth date right now she is tugging on my top and screeming at me but it more likly because she thought she only needed one sleep today my other two are zayden who is 7 and mayleaka who is 4 so just thought i would say hi
-
Hi Tali! Happy Birthday to Kailaia for yesterday :) Tell us more about you and your family please!
OK, I let Oscar play a bit more, got some dishes done and now he's in the sling (tucked up nice and close). Might even leave him there for a bit. The dogs need feeding (this will generate more barking, no doubt) and I need to feed the fire soon. Dinner might have to be what we had last night (Smoked ham hock slow cook with peas, cabbage, carrots and pearl barley with red wine).
Bath - sounds like you had a nice day out!
Mel - How are things with your family? I hope the preparations are going smoothly and that you have a good funeral home looking after you - it can make a huge difference.
-
Hi all- certainly is party season in the house of the Junies!
Mel- Sorry to hear about your Nan, I hope that tomorrow isnt too sad for you and your family.
Dee- Glad to hear your teaching prac went well, it always gives me a warm fuzzy when I hear some describing teaching with as much love and enthusiam as I have for it.
Well I am off for my NT scan tomorrow, I cant believe that I am 12 weeks preg already, it has just flown by, this baby is going to be hear before I know it.
I have renegotiated my hours at work so I now only have to go in 3 days instead of 4 which I think will be a lot better for me. I will now work all day monday, till 2 on tues and till 12 on Weds and have thurs, fri off. It was just all getting abit too much for me, and I felt like I never got to spend any time with Tori, because if I wasnt working I was busy trying to get at home stuff done.
We are busily organising Tori's birthday parties, she is having the first one on the 16th up at FIL's place with all DH's country relatives, her next is the 24th, this will just be a small gathering of my family and our friends for a BBQ and then Tanya and I are having a joint little morning tea for TOri and Lucas on the 29th will their little friends.
Has anyone made the picture frame cake from the WW kids birthday cook book? I am making it for Tori and Lucas' party and have a lovely photo of the 2 of them together but I dont actualley have that book, is it hard?
Anyway better go, Tori is alseep in her pram (she is a bit under the weather again, cutting 2 more teeth- hopefully the last for a while) and I should get something done while Ive got the opportunity.
-
Gotta be quick - my poor lamb has a cold, and right before his birthday (which is monday). Welcome Tali, hi to everyone else.....
-
Nic - I was going to spell Marley's name like that but decided that she would be spelling it for the rest of her life LOL!!
Bath - Marley is having her injections on her birthday (how awful am I!!!)
IK - bugger about the dogs!!!!! Your leftovers sound delicious and even more so after a night in the fridge. Things always taste better the next day. I made a yummy veg curry on Monday night and it was much better when I had it for lunch on Tuesday. Hope Oscar manages to get a snooze in without the dogs waking him.
Tali - welcome to the group. What a freaky birth date but so easy to remember. Hope Kailaia had a wonderful 1st birthday. All you kids have such lovely names, unusual. Where did the names come from?
Ali - thanks for you thoughts. Good luck with the NT scan tomorrow. 3 days work sounds much more manageable than 4. I made the picture frame cake for Chelseas 3rd birthday and it was soo easy. When I stuck my photo in, I used the plastic/perspex from a photo frame to go over it, that way the photo stayed in place and didn't get icing and everything on it. Make sure you load it up with lollies!!! I will email you a copy of the picture. It turned out so good and the kids enjoyed picking the lollies off.
Rory - poor Flynn! Hope it disappears before his birthday.
Funeral for my nan is tomorrow. The funeral home have been fantastic and organised everything for my dad. Nan had a special friend called Albert (his wife and my nan were best friends and met when they were in their early 20's) and when his wife died and my pa died, they started to see each other on a regular basis. He came to have dinner with her every Sat night, he is almost completely blind but caught a taxi every Sat. Very sweet! He has been in hospital after having a stroke a few weeks ago. He phoned Dad on Monday to get a lift to the funeral and asked Dad to organise a single long stemmed red rose to place on Nans coffin. Well Dad received a call from his son this morning to say that he passed away in the early hours this morning! He had a brain bleed on Tuesday and went into a coma, then passed away. Can you believe it? Well I hope they all get to meet up in heaven. My dad also sprung on me this afternoon that he would like me to speak at the funeral! A bit of notice would have been nice! I have been madly trying to right a speech down but haven't gotten far. I will try to keep it brief and maybe "wing it" on the day. I would have liked to think about it a bit more and have more time to write something. I will be glad when tomorrow is over.
-
Mel - sound to me like your nan's friend died of a broken heart :( One of my great uncles passed away shortly after one of my other great uncles died, and they were close, so we say he died of a broken heart, too. At least it adds a bit of symmetry to an event. About this eulogy. I don't know if this will help, but here goes. Our last few funerals for elderly family members have had people speak about their own memories of their young days with the person, any outings or special occasions that were memorable, funny things they used to do or were known for, and things that will always remind the speaker of that person. For example, DP joked about when his aunt was near the end of her driving career and how he was relieved when she stopped driving because she was driving the Beetle but couldn't see above the steering wheel...and asking him to look for things on the road! He and his brother also mentioned her famous scrambled eggs and some other culinary specialties. Making fond jest of the ability to hoard is another nice touch, oddly enough- sounds like she did that all right! Favourite songs that you remember (DP sang a rendition of one of his dad's drunk camping songs), etc. Don't know if that will help at all, but it gave mileage to the eulogies at our funerals. I would advise against leaving too much to 'winging it', because you don't want it to look like you don't care what you're saying. Point form is good, and if you feel confident when you're up there you can expand on those things a bit more. Having a good natured laugh at your nan's expense is perfectly acceptable and really eases everyone there and it becomes a celebration of a life, rather than merely a marking of a passing :)
Oscar did get back to sleep...three hours later! but he's asleep again and we're off to bed now.
Ali - so glad you're workload has eased! Have fun with Tanya, sounds like a good plan. Good one for organising more than one party, too. We're doing one, and it's turned out bigger than originally planned, but by inviting our closest brigade friends (and they're around us more than extended family is, so they have to be here) it's become a bit more of an event. Still, not too many people, but it will be if it rains and it's freezing cold. I'm hoping we get RSVP's from people who have to decline! The invite turned out nicely, I might stick it up on Photobucket, but a copy has gone into Oscar's record book.
Needles - Oscar's having his the week after his birthday, I'm pretty sure. I hope it's not the same week - I'll have enough pain to worry about with my exams! Given the injuries he has done to himself of late, it shouldn't be as huge a drama as it was the first time (that was the worst, by far).
Ok, well and truly due for bed time!
-
hi girls,
just a quick check in to say hi... Mel, sorry to hear about your Nan - HUGS...
12 month injections: my doctor told that that unlike the previous neddles these will be "live" viruses (or whatever he called them), so they ARE likely to cause a reaction, so he told me to wait until after her birthday parties / visitors ect.. to get them (MMR)...poor little bubs..
going to go back and read old posts to see what eveyone has been up too..
Cheers!

As i have some time today thought i would tell you a bit about my family. i ment my husband when i was 16, we got married when we were 18, and have now been married for 10 happy years ,for the last 11 year he has been in the Navy so has been away a lot. now he is working in the mines and flys in and out 2 weeks working and 1 week home which believe it or not is heaps better than what we were doing last year. 6weeks after i had kai he had to move to sydney while we had to stay in cairns, as mayleaka has raynards and cant deal with cold he was ment to come home every 2 mths but we only got to see for two week in 9mths so we are happy he got out. We are hoping to move down to hervey bay next year. we have lived in sydney which is where i had my 1st child Zayden 6 weeks after he was born we moved to darwin, we were there for 9mth then moved to cairns for 3 yrs which is where i had my 2nd child mayleaka 3 weeks after she was born we were moved back to darwin we stayed there for 14mth when we were moved to melbourne which is how we worked out may couldn't live down there due to the cold so 9 mths later we moved back to darwin we were only in dawin for 9mths before i came back to cairns when i was 35 weeks pregnant with kai so now i am hoping i will feel settled in hervey bay when we move as i really dont want to move again. as it is poor zayden has been to 4 schools in 3yrs. so thats my life so far hope everyone has a great weekend

Tali my mum and dad live in Hervey Bay, it's really nice there and we visit a few times a year, so once you move we can have a meet up if you like when I'm up that way.
