as for the dribbling - yeah whats up with that ?? i walk around with a bib attached to my hand constantly wiping Aneta's mouth - she has started dribbling a lot.... speaking of which she had another mini-choke this morning , maybe she wasnt even choking , dont know but i grabbed her and put her on my arm across on her tummy and the milk came out.. *sigh* at least i didnt panic this time

Kel - it was me who said that about the pony tail and tracksuit - good to hear im not the only one ;) even when i go out shopping to get myself something nice , the " nice " is a new tracksuit hehe

Jess - tell that woman to get on bellybelly.. we will deal with her ;) many hormones still raging here hehe

Wow a busy day in here, I havent seen that many posts in one day for ages.
Well I am pleased to say that it looks likethe antibiotics have done the trick and my bleeding has slowed right down, which is a bit of a relief because after 7 weeks I am pretty over it.

Nic- Glad to hear that you are feeling better, I dont think there is anything worse than having gastro, you feel trapped because you dont want to venture to far from the toilet.

Bath Toilet training sounds like 'oh so much fun', hopefully Wade learns to poo in his potty nice and quickly.

Kel- Glad that you had a good time in Perth with your friends, there is nothing better than hanging out with friends and going on a shopping spree. Whta an honour to be asked to be with your friend while she is having a baby. I love the nicknames search & destroy, that is so cute.

Enigma Glad that you have finally found a monitor that gives you piece of mind while Aneta is sleeping. There is nothing better than being able to go to sleep soundly while the baby is alseep.
Dee78 Soory to hear that you are still having such a tough time, and that Tresillian wasnt much help. Go with your mothers instinct and be persistant with Dr's, GP's, Hospital, CHN etc untill someone helps you to find osmething that works for you. If it comes down to needing to put him on a bottle then that is what you have to do, and you shouldnt feel guilty, it is about what is best for you and the baby. Have you tried just one feed a day on a bottle to see if it makes a difference?

Tanya I dont know if I will make it to the Expo on Sunday, we have a few things planned, but I would love to catch up. Maybe we can make arrangements to catch with everyone next time Kel has to come up to Perth to pick up/drop her DH off.

I have to say that it has been pretty smooth sailing in our household the last week or so, Tori has learnt to put herself to sleep in her rocker and will sleep there during the day- no more of this trying to put her down in her bassinet and having he wake up again 5 mins later, she can sleep in her rocker for a couple of hours at a time. She is also sleeping really well at night, usually 5-7 hours in one go which is awesome.
Took her to CHN today and she is now 5010gms 59cms long, and head circ 39cm.
I went off to the gym today and it felt soo great to get back into some excercise, I think I am going to be a bit sore tomorrow, but it was sooo nice to be out of the house for a little while on my own, doing my own thing. Now if only I can get Tori to take a bottle so I dont have to stress that she is going to wake up and cry for DH.

Is anyone having a christening/ batism/ naming day for there bubs? I would like to have a naming day celebration but I dont want to do anything to official, so I guess I amgoing to have to look around for a few ideas!

Anyway better go, I am cooking a roast turkey roll thing for dinner and roast veggies, I even told DH I would make a dessert so better get on with it while our little MonkeyBear (DH's nickname for Tori) is asleep

I had a Baptism for Patrick when he was a couple of weeks old. We just had family around and had a barbeque.

Had Pat weighed today and he knows weighs 4080g...up 380g since last Monday! Also had Mums group and it was a lot of fun, had some laughs.

Tim had his blood test and he didn't cry just sat there and was so brave.

Wow Jess Patrick is really putting the weight on now, Past the 4kg mark WTG!
I hope Tim doesn't have glandula (sp?) feaver. I had it when i was 5yrs old although it wasnt discovered to my parents that thats what it was until i was a teenager and had blood tests and it showed up.
But i was in hospital for a week, couldnt keep anything down and lost a heap of weight. i still remember parts of it, like my bro and sister standing outside at the window holding up signs begging to let them in because they were not allowed in to see me.... They end up letting them stand at the door for a few mins (I was in a ward with sick babies and think it was all highly contageous cause even mum and dad had to wear covers to come see me) Anyway i hope he doesn't have it! I continued to get sick each yr (would always fall around my bday, funnily enough ive just been sick again a few days after my bday!) up until i was about 18. It really whacks your immune system.

Ali- very happy to hear the anti biotics are kicking in. I bled for 8 weeks (last 2 were on and off) and yes its very frustrating isnt it! i felt i got away with not having my period for 8 months but then made up for it for bleeding for 8 weeks afterwards

Baptism etc- funny you should mention this because we are currently trying to work out what to do. MIL spoke to a place who is sending us info. DH is catholic (i am not) and wants him christened catholic, so i told him he needs to do all the research to whats involved (id be happier having a naming day) So it will be in Syd and were going to try work it around same time we are gonna go up for dh 30th .... but w/e we wanted is booked, waiting for info they send but need to figure out what we are doing soon. we cannot really afford another trip to sydney a few weeks later.

We had a seriously unhappy afternoon, nathan was crying so much I now have a headache. He's sound asleep now tho. Apart from that everything is really fine. On Sat went to go to mum's (1hr drive). Nathan starts crying on the way, then he starts getting hysterical and makes this horrible sound. I am stuck at traffic lights, after 2nd time they have gone red(Don't stay green long enough to make it thru) get out to check on him and he is bright red. Start panicking that he is sunburnt and possible sunstroke (I didn't have the shade cover on window). When I finally get thru traffic lights (3 sets) I pull into a servo and feed him. His colour goes back to normal and he calms down. Went into servo to get some drinks for kids, go back to car and it won't start. Ring NRMA they tell me between 0 - 90 minutes mention I have a baby. He showed up in 40 minutes, my battery was dead, he installed a new one. Hows this: whilst waiting I looked at my watch and it had stopped earlier that morning (2 flat batteries on the one day). What are the chances, dh also had to put a new battery in his van this week. Anyway I am not going on any long car trips for quite a while now!

Karen - what a day! I haven't had any like that with Oscar yet...but I'm sure they'll come!
DP is trying out the new Nuk bottle...Oscar isn't very impressed, hasn't drunk much and I should probably get ready for bed so that he can have a comfort suck and drop off...
Sensory defensiveness can be as extreme as a baby being upset by most fabrics, too much light, too much touch, too much sound - all or just some of these. I know DP wasn't very affectionate as a child, as my MIL tells me, and he doesn't like holding hands when walking, some ways of touching him are irritating rather than sensuous etc. This was a bit frustrating for me until I read this book in the last week!
OK, better go make the most of the opportunity to brush my teeth etc...

Oh Karen, what a horrible day you had. my battery died not so long ago to but i was lucky that i was at a friends place when it happened. did u end up turning around going home or did u eventually make it to your mums? How were the other boys? Prob would have been getting pretty irratable too. Glad Nathan was ok and he must have really worked himself up and been a hungry boy.

gotta take Nixon to the docs today for this refferal for the pead. Bath Ive only taken him once to the docs and i needed to go myself too, she didnt bulk me but did Nixon so hoping thats what they do, i will be saying something f i get charged for her to write a letter.... i just think it is strange i need the refferal with the pead himself told me to come back. so its not just like i want to get in and see him and havent been b4.

All of last week Nixon decided to wake earlier (between 5-5.30am)when he had been sleeping to 6-7am so last night i put him to bed earlier (9.15pm) usually been going 10.30-11pm and he slept till 5.15am. I was expecting him to wake up earlier and woke up a couple of times myself just to check the time!

Sorry i haven't been in lately but i got my periods back on Sat night now they are real heavy and i'm one of those people that ends up sick and in a lot of pain!!! I forgot what it was like.
Tarleha has had a few off days the last couple of days. I think she has chrisened the entire lounge room with vomit now! Only slept for 20 mins yesterday until 11pm. Have to ring up and organise her 2 mnth immunisations today, even though she's only 7 weeks on Thursday but my doctor said to ring early as they are really busy at the moment.

Nic - Have been thinking of you and how you have been feeling, from reading previous posts you are obviously better. Thats good there's nothing worse than being sick and having to look after a little one as well. Got the photo's of your 80's night and Nixon was sooooo cute, babies are full of interesting facial expressions, well at least Tarleha is as well. Every one has started calling Tarleha Rowan Atkinson but i don't think thats very nice.

Ali25 The antibiotics have obviously done the trick. You must be so happy as i know i was when my bleeding stopped, i was lucky though mine stopped at 3 1/2 weeks.

Kel - it's good that you had a great time in Perth. Sometimes a nice holiday is just what you need. I know my father has paid for a 7 day holiday at Palm Beach for us (21st present).

I know dribbling can be a sign of teething but isn't she too young for that?

I feel really sick and bub will wake for a feed soon so i'm gonna go for now.

Kristee Lea, Jack is dribbling like crazy too yet Charlee isnt. i thought that maybe it might be early signs of teething but at 3 months its hard to imagine. I just think some babies dribble and others dont. I hope you are feeling better soon. I too have my period back! I just cnt believe my (bad) luck. I thought with all this breastfeeding it would take ages. Oh well!!

Karen, How awful. The battery is replaceable in both the car and the watch, but the fact that Nathan is ok is the main thing. I know how frustrating the whole car bizzo is. I ran out of petrol in the new car on Friday and my FIL had to come save me! Then it still wouldnt start! God I nearly died. Anyway we got it started (needed more fuel than we originally put in). Hope you have no problems again!!!

Nic, talking of waking early (this is a classic) Mia came in to my bedroom as she does every day, dressed ready for scholl (as she is every morning) AT 1AM!!!!!! She looked so sleepy so I checked the time and PMSL!!! I sent her back to bed and this morning had to wake her!!! Funny girl! Hope Nixon goes back to waking at 7am! Its so lovely to get that extra sleep hey.

Jess, I hope I didnt upset you when I told you I would get stuck into DH if I was you. I just think he is being really rude considering you have been through so much lately with Patrick. Its not something I could handle atm so I am just concerned for you.

Karen - sorry to hear u had such a crap day. Its like that isnt it? When it rains , it pours - like i always say ,in a few weeks ( or years ) it will be something to laugh about ;)

KLR - my period came back sooooooooo heavy i didnt know what was going on , it finally stopped after 8 days ( usually its 4 or 5 ).. so this month ive gone back on the pill and im not taking the sugar tablets ( my GP's advice ) so i can skip one period and see what the 3rd one is like.. its funny isnt it? 10 months we are all happy chappy because we dont have our period , then we give birth and bleed and bleed and bleed enough to make up for those 10months , and then the period returns just as bad.. *sigh* gotta love childbirth ;)

Enigma, ok ok I admit it! I crack the whip and she looks after the bubs while I sleep! YEAH RIGHT!!! No such luck. She said to me when I asked her to rock Jack while I cooked tea "Cant you do it Mum? He is your baby" True Mia, so true!!! I too have gotten up for work a few years ago when I was riding racehorses. I had to start at 5am but left the house at 2am for some stupid reason. I finally noticed on the car clock and had to sleep at the stables until everyone else turned up!!! ha ha what a dill!

Charlee is putting up the best fight. Her eyes are almost closed but she is still screaming! Ha ha she thinks I'm going to pick her up! Good luck little baby!

Nixon protested a bit when he went to bed earlier last night, but he eventually got the idea and drifted off to sleep. i made the mistake at poking my head in when i thought he would be asleep, there he was staring straight back at me and gave me the biggest smile! as hard as it was i held back smiling back and talking to him cheeky bugger!

hehe poor Mia thats funny! atleast she is keen for school! remind her of this in about 10yrs time when she decides she doesnt wanna go any more!
babies can get teeth @ 3months but not very common. a lot just dribble cause they cant swallow the saliva. i checked up in my baby love book last night it is 12months that they can dribble till...its a shame with the spews and dribbles we have all the nice outfits and they get covered over by bibs all the time!

I just did the cruelest thing, as soon as the milk finished in Aneta's bottle i pulled the bottle away and plugged in the dummy... haha but she's sucking and sleeping!! :) My oblivious chubby baby ;)

Well ever since i did " the cruel thing " Aneta has been sleeping , i hope it wasnt her playtime , or that she didnt want to spend time with me because i tricked her into sleeping ;)

Bath - she's 16 years old and too cheeky, whatever happened to the insecure little sister i do not know.. speaking of which , it was her 16th last weekend , and I got her a bday card that said " It seems like just yesterday you were a little boy " ... ( my parents always gave her little boy haircuts hehe )

Nic - i have since remembered what i was meant to ask - does Nixon sleep alone or in the room with you?

Now that Aneta pretty much sleeps through the night ( or at least she used to ).. She could sleep in her room and id just have the monitor on , but i just cant leave her without checking every 2 minutes , so i gave up and sleep on the couch next to her cot

Perth girls - i think i might be off to the expo but on saturday ( dont know yet )
unfortunatly sunday is mine and DH " sushi day ".. we go out just the 2 of us , eat a lot of sushi - and come home *sigh* ever so romantic hehe

...im not sure if you Junies remember , but not long after Aneta was born I said i would start swimming ( yes i do realize she is now 2 months old ).
Well i have goggles , and a swimming cap ( hahah so NO ONE recognises me ) and im gonna do it !..tommorow :)

enigma - oscar sleeps with us, either between us with a bunny rug stretched out under his head, or on my chest with a layer or two removed (he gets sticky from body heat otherwise!). he sleeps really well with us and makes tiny grunty noises whilst still asleep when he's getting hungry, so i can get him propped for a feed before the crying needs to start. i then sit up with hum curled into my chest until he goes to sleep again, so i slip back down with him on my chest:) it's really lovely and we just dtd outside of bedtime hours.
btw, i'm fitting into clothes i havent worn for 3 years - i think oscar is sucking out the fat that the depo ralovera made me gain in 2003! unfortunately, due to bust size, i also look like a porn star...

i just bought the take 5 mag, got the last one in the shop! (anyone wanting to get it i think the next week comes out tomorrow) So i read Kells story, amazing! and your family is gorgeous. Noah was born 4 weeks early and 5.515kg! Thats like 12pound or something isn't it? wow imagine if he had of stayed in another 4 weeks!

Nixon sleeps in his own room. he only lasted 1 night in our room in his bassinett. i thought our room was too cold for him and cant keep the heating on all night. instead we bought an oil heater and leave it on in his room at night. But sometimes if he wakes up early and not ready for a feed i bring him in and he has a sleep on my chest.
Thismorning i fed him at 5.15am then he slept with me until his next feed which only 7.45am... dunno if he is having a growth spurt but he has been going only 3hrs sometimes 2.5 for the last few days.

IK- what is your porn star name?!

Tonight we have our mothers group with fathers!! and teaching baby massage, they get the dads to do it! Should be good to see all the blokes with their bubs for a change!
