Mum of Lewis! great weight!!!

Ashley was almost 11kg at 18 months and 80cm :)

I have been thinking i need to play with her sleeps as she started FDC last week 2 days a week and is soooooooooooo excited all day every day now!.

She still has her 3 hrs of sleep in the arvo but the past 2 weeks isnt ready for bed until 9-10pm! and that is not cool lol. So today i am going to put her to bed a little less comfy - with the windows and curtains open (usually it is dark as in her room) and hope she sleeps only for an hour so she is rady for bed at 7pm. She sleeps to abpout 630-7am.

DS on the other hand wakes around 430-5am lol yawn. but i get him back to sleep about the same time DD wakes so it makes it easier with breakfast and morning tidy up


I HEAR YOU on the ground hog day .. i say this all the time lol. even more with 2 lol. BUt i must admit i was hestitate with FDC but OMG she loves the pants off it. SHe is soe xcited to go and when i pick her up , hugs me and kisses ethan then wants to show me all the things she did and played with...

It is good as i get 2 days of me and ethan time which i think is important (ashley got exclusive mummy rightgs for 18 months now ethan gets some 1 on1 ).

Toliet training is going on and off. Sometimes she does -others she doesnt. I think she is getting ready but we just 'arent there' yet.

We are learning to drink from a cup. (loves drinking bath water eew lol) but she is getting better with less mess).

Going to go shopping this weekend and pamper myself i have decied. GOing to get a new leather handbag. At the moment i throw all my junk into one of the green bags lol.. so decided i derve better than $1.95 , and get ashely a helmet as we attached a seat to the pushbike - cant wait to giveit a go! woohoooo

I'll put my hand up and say that sometimes my days feel a little samey too! Although, I still don't think I'd have it any other way.

I'm actually in the process of "trying" to start up a Mother's Group in my area. I was a part of one when Caeleb was younger, but as with most things, people got busy and went back to work and it just fell apart and I really miss it. I'm still really close with two of the girls from the group, but one has moved to Adelaide, so I don't see her as much as I'd like. The other I see on a weekly basis as our boys are the best of friends. Is a local Mother's Group and option for you Sarah?

I also go to a Natural Parenting Group once a month which Caeleb and I both love, we both get a lot out of it. Then we have playgroup on Fridays' and sometimes I'll take him to story time at the local Library.

Wednesday is now our new fruit and veg shopping day as I've found a company about 20 minutes away who sell only certified organic produce, so we drive out there and pick out what we want and make a bit of an morning out of it. They have ducks and chickens there too, so Caeleb likes to look at them. Overall, we spend a good hour or more there and it's good for him to learn about food too.

I think if you try and make your "mummy jobs" such as shopping and going to the post office a bit of an event, it breaks the day up.

Caeleb had his 18 month check up last week. He's 87cm tall and 12kg. Long and lean as always. He should by rights be a little heffalump with how much he eats, although he does only eat good food and not junk... and he's always on the go, so he burns a lot of energy.

We went to Target to buy Caeleb a toddler quilt cover set for his cot, which by the way, we have now turned into a toddler bed. He's doing really well with it. He LOVES his big boys bed. Funny how taking down the bars and putting a couple rails can make a difference, because he hated his cot! LOL

Anyway... we had lunch in the food court area. We ordered a slice of lasagne to share (Caeleb at two thirds of it! Little piggy! LOL) and I was so shocked to see a little girl next to us (probably around 18 months old or slightly older) sucking back a big cup of frozen raspberry fanta! OMG her poor teeth! How much sugar and red food colouring can be in one of those?!?

Anyway... I'll get off my soapbox now. LOL

Hello everyone! Long time no visit! I have read heaps of the posts, I always read em, just never have the time to actually post em! Congrats on all the new mummies and mummies to be! I cant wait to join the new mummies again!

Dane went for his 18mth check and all is good. Although, he seems to be a tank compared from what the rest of you have said so far. Dane is 90cm tall and 16.2kg... But i dont think he is fat.. he doesnt look fat to me and he doenst eat ****. He is a really good eater, heaps of fruit and vege, nearly everything we give him he will eat.

We went to see Santa at chrissy and it was the exact same santa as last year, which was pretty cool, BUT dane freaked out and didnt want to no him.... We got a couple of pics, one makes us laugh cos you can tell Dane is trying to escape!

Is anyone else going through MAJOR tantrums? I no it has been spoken about in earlier posts, but Dane just seems so over the top in his tantys. He will knock his head against the wall or floor on purpose, its horrible and just high pitch squeal when he doesnt get his own way. Even sometimes, when y0u just tell him NO for the 100th time of the day he can act like you have just really hurt him. throws himself around, screams and seems to be very mad! We have had to put him in his cot a few times for a small time out - cos either he is gonna hurt himself or if I pick him up he headbutts me and stuff and has hit my nose too many tomes now. Its permanently tender!~!

Other then the tantrums all is great! We have started toilet training and he pees in the toilet with his seat, but at the moment, we are asking him and taking him. He doesnt seem to no when he is about to pee, but will tell you when he is. So a bit more time, but hte main thing is he is getting used to it all at his own pace.

How is everyone going with speaking? Dane has lots of words now, but sometimes he will say a word for a while, then not say it for ages. He also used to say Toast really well, now he calls it tote......

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and all the little munchkins are powering along. Life is good and always remember to smile, especially at nothing !

Wow Miss Banana - Dane is doing great! 90cm, he must be in size 2 by now? I find Lewis is in 2's for his top half but still 1's for his trousers, seems he has short legs!

Celsie - That organic place sounds great, Lewis hates shopping I try and go without him to the supermarket, I remember hating it too as a kid. Yes we do go to playgroup, the library singalong etc but it's all shut at the moment, I think once it all starts up again things will become busier again. I'm also looking at enrolling hm in an art n move class in February. Yesterday was better anyway as is cousin came over for a swim, so that was nice.

We are getting a new lounge today, can't wait as our current one is just filthy from too many sticky fingers :rolleyes:

This is so normal it's not even funny! At this age everything is all or nothing. So, there's no such thing as being a little upset, it's a lot upset... same with how much he loves you. Caeleb gives me kisses and pushes his face into mine as hard as he can "squish face" to give affection. It's big love or nothing! And as far as him hurting himself, it's all for show. He'll only do it hard enough to give you a fright, but not hard enough to actually hurt himself. Try to remember that this is all a part of him growing up and he would be abnormal if he didn't throw trantrums. He's just trying to assert some authority over his own life. As far as the headbutts go, they're a big NO NO! You need to grab him and tell him that it's not okay and he needs to stop because it hurts you and that if he continues then you'll put him in time out, or whatever you do to discipline him. Never accept any aggression towards you or anyone else. Big hugs! :hug:

Hello my lovelies!!!!

I've kind of been feeling bad as I havent had a chance to come in and catch up but it seems that everyone has been super busy recently too!!

I havent read right back but its great to hear that all our munchkins are doing well and growing up fast! Mikayla is still on the little side - only around 11kg's but fighting fit and very strong non-the-less!

She just astounds me every day. She's talking sooo much!! (there's no shutting her up!) I've thought about starting a list of how many words so I can compare it to the next bub but she's saying so much that I havent found the time to sit and write them all down :lol: She's starting to put little phrases together now which is quite cute, like - "I did it" and "oh no fall down".

My mum has decided to start toilet training. I work most days at the moment as we're short staffed so am glad she'llwill be doing all the "dirty work" ;) Havent made any progress yet but Mikayla is more than happy to sit on the toilet and stuff paper into the bowl - which is a start i guess!

AFM - I'm getting fat and uncomfortable which I'm sure you can all remember every so clearly!!! Please remind me... who was it that invented braxton hicks? Painless my a%$!!!!

Sarah - Good luck with TTC. I know how hard the whole IVF thing is and I too was hoping to avoid all of that the second time round but just remember the joy you felt when you finally got to hold little Lewis! Its all worth it in the end :hug: Did you end up ringing RPA about their public waiting list???

Celsie - How are you doing? Can you believe just how quickly time has passed. Only 12 weeks to go!!! :o Hope you're feeling ok and still managing to run around after Caeleb without too much discomfort LOL

Charly - You must be oh so busy with you 2 little princesses! I hope they're both being perfect angels for mummy!! hahaha

Kell - I hope Ethan has settled in nicely and getting along well with Ashley. How did you find she coped when he arrived? I'm a little worried that Mikayla might be a bit rough!

MissB - sounds like Dane is doing really well. He certainly is a big boy but as long as he's fit and healthy then I wouldnt be concerned at all!! We had the same prob with Santa this year. M was happy to look from a distance but we couldnt get her anywhere near him for a photo!

Hi everyone

I too have been reading everyone's posts but have been too busy to write anything myself. I tried to update Diana's babysite the other day only to find that I can't access it. It seems that its been so long since I've been there that my username has expired or something (either that or I have forgotten it and am typing it in wrong). Hopefully I can still somehow salvage it.

Diana is 19 months old now. She is about 10kg and 80cm. She is talking a lot and is saying heaps of words. Her favourite game seems to be pointing to people's, toys' and animals' faces, pointing to their features, e.g. eyes, ears, nose, etc and naming them. It is very cute. She has started putting two words together as well, saying "baby doll" the other day, pointing to one of her dolls. We also got her a pet (a baby rat), which she named Min, and she often calls him by his name. (He comes to her sometimes, but we have to be careful as she can be inadvertently rough when playing with him.)

Potty training is going great. We often leave Diana's nappy off when we are at home and have the potty in the living room, where she can access it. Two days ago I went into the kitchen, leaving Diana in the living room, only to find that the potty was full of wee! :clap: I am so proud of her. Yesterday morning when she woke up her nappy was completely clean and dry and when DH put her on the potty she went. My aim is to have her completely out of nappies during the day by the end of March.

Diana throws tantrums sometimes too, but they are just for show and she is usually easily distracted.

Hiyaaaaaah! Yep we're a busy lot aren't we?? I've been crafting and gyming and mummying and wifey-ing and job huntering (to a degree)! So not much happening here..HAHAHAHAHAHA! I can't believe how soon there will be more babies from here! Where has that time gone?

Teepee - our little ones are the same weight but DD#2 doesn't seem tiny to me......still my little puppy/bulldozer my one! Lol! Has the little pushy outy tummy thing happening too, hehe.

Well, we have had one of those weeks (and it's only wednesday!) where, if one of my girls hurts themselves one more time I am going to run into a wall!! Seriously!! Someone is always getting knocked in the head, whacking their leg/feet/toes, pulling hair (accidents of course :rolleyes:) bashing their fingers......oh and DD#1 tried a doozy the other day; fell over on her fold out chair and it folded hard onto her knee. Goodness she screamed and now has a lovely black bruise line down the side of her knee. Then there's my bulldozer........

:rolleyes: Dh came home early from work the other day as I rang him and all he heard was DD#2 screaming (you're probably thinking "what kind of mother are you charly?!?!? kids screaming and hurting themselves!" Eeeep :redface:) Anywhos, I had been cuddling DD (see I'm a nice mummy, I cuddle them, LOL!) and she wanted to go play with her big sister so I put her down onto the floor. Well. I always have a hand under her bottom as she can still walk a little 'drunk' as she tries to go wayeeee too fast. The poor little mooch didn't have her 'land legs' and took one step and splatted straight down onto our tiled floor :o Her hands slapped the floor first but I watched in horror as her mouth literally bounced off the tiles. I grabbed her and knew there was going to be a mess........I just didn't think it'd be that messy. It was so horrible and I was so grateful DH came home. She split the skin on her gum and cut her lip but thankfully her teeth are still in and don't seem to be pushed back but one now has a faint black line just along the gum line :( Apparently kids can do that to teeth and the tooth can over a few weeks turn black before it gets good again.....oh I'll be sick if that happens! So we are watching it closely.

Aaaaaaaand her latest game is to throw herself onto her knees from a standing position!! Apparently this is absolutely hilarious - it really cracks her up! :wall:

As much as I want more babies.......I don't think I want a boy........not if DD#2 is anything to go by.

So apart from that Teepee, oh yes, they are being my absolute perfect angels :rofl:

We started the kindy runs this week - of all weeks!! Good gracious it's hot! And the girls start swimming lessons this week too - looking forward to that!! (hmmm, sorry just saw "kindy runs"....I must be in a weird mood coz that could sound slightly dodgy.....hehehe. Yes, weird) oh and DD#2 is also powering out the words - tries as much as she can. I'm so proud of her coz she gets up from her nap, sees the tennis on the TV and says, "kiket", which is actually cricket, lol! So when we tell her its tennis she says, "nennis".....hehehehe! Aaaaand she's learnt fake crying - thanks to her big sister. Good grief! Lol! Pair of actresses me thinks, lol!

hey there ladies,

yes we are still all alive and kicking and spewing and pooing and tantruming and laughing and running and falling and sliding and blowing and kneeling and all that other stuff they do to scare the absolute bugger out of me.

now that nate is 85cm and 14kgs hes more like our baby rhino than i care to think. ihave got bruises from his crash tackling of me and yes his head height is just right to down me for a minute. words are flowing like maisy at a party. sometimes he can even string a few together that dont make sense but we love it anyway. tt has just started so weve had a few messy accidents but he knows what hes done after the fact, now we just need to now the fact before.

the funniest thing hes doing at the moment is blowing raspberries everywhere, the doors, floors, bath time, in the pool, in his cup full of water(:doh:),on the tiles on the verandah and best of all on our tummies. he loves the sound!

hes loving his food at the moment. bananas top of the list followed by avocado then watermelon and anything fed to him by anyone but DW and I. :wall: he'll eat at daycare no worries, eat for nan and pop, eat for friends but if we try to feed him lunch or dinner its 'no' shake head accompanied with flying hands unless its yoghurt. we give him the spoon and fork and he tries, gets frustrated and cracks the poos. keep trying i guess.

sleeping well. two hours at lunch then 730 til 5 am. have got used to the early starts so its not much of an issue. sometimes if were tired we'll ask if he wants to come to our bed....yeah and a nod. sleep and extra 1 1/2hr. then its time to get up and feed me or i'll huff and i'll puff and blow you a raspberry!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

have just put in for a customs job in brissie and have to be positive. would really love it if i got it. part time and short shifts, perfect for our family situation with mum earning all the money and keeping me in the lifestyle that i have become accustomed to.:pray::pray:lots of prays please.

Hi everyone, hope you haven't all melted in the heat!

Hey Dragonstorm sounds like Nate is lots of fun now. Lewis was still up at 5am until recently, now he will generally go until around 6am-6.30am which is a nice lie in :lol:. I think it's because he finally dropped his morning sleep and now just has a lunchtime one.

Starfish - Diana sounds like she has cracked the potty training then. I haven't even started with Lewis but he will go nappy-less at home for quite a while now.

Teepee and Celsie - You must be suffering in this heat :doh: Oh well not much longer:dance:

Charly - sounds like your two really are bulldozers! I bet DD1 inspires DD2 to be a daredevil too. Lewis loves climbing now, I found him with the oven door open (switched off obviously) stood on it trying to reach for his dummy on the kitchen bench. Scared the life out of me. We have got a safety catch on there but the heat of the oven makes it unstick.

PP - How is Ethan, he must be growing up so fast?

Lewis is going through the 'acky' phase where he can't get his hands or feet dirty. When he falls over he just holds his hands out and says 'acky, ta' until I wipe them off. What a prima donna! Hope that phase doesn't last long. Think that's the whole reasoning behind him not liking the sand aswell.

Anyway no more news this end.

been a very long time since i posted in here but things have been full on. looks like all ur lil ones are going great immy is ok not putting on much weight she is 9 kg ang has been since she was 1 so we are waithing to hear from the peads and go and find out what is going on. we have had another baby a boy this time he is almost 4 months old now time is going way to fast we had a few problems with him when he was born he wasnt putting on any weight and it turns out that his vitamin b12 levels were really low and so were mine but things are going good now and he is getting bigger just hope nothing to bad is wrong with immy oh well i best be off i have lots to do today

Bad news from our camp. I've been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I had the standard test, which knocked me about, so I wasn't surprised when they called later that afternoon to ask me to come back in for the two hour one... and obviously, that didn't go well either. I'm really annoyed with IMVS and the doctors. I waited 36 hours for results and no-one called. I called IMVS who did the test and they said they'd passed the results onto the maternity suite and they'd put me through. No worries. The girl who I spoke to said "I'm not qualified to read the results"... are you telling me you can't read??? So, I had to wait till a doctor could be bothered to call me back and tell me. The doctor was very vague and said that somone "should" call me this week to let me know what happens next.

So, I'm quietly terrified, as I don't really knows what this means for me or the baby. I'm also starving, because I'm trying not to eat anything with any sugar in it, natural or otherwise. Grrr...

Caeleb and I have both been struck down with colds, although he seems over his and I'm still coughing and spluttering. It's not been the best week for health in this household.

I've been watching the fires on the tv in utter shock. I can't believe so many people have lost their lives. It's just so sad. We went straight to the NAB on Monday morning and made a donation. I'm glad the nation has pulled together to support the people of Victoria.

Congratulations on your new baby Lira! Hopefully Immy will be okay, they don't tend to put much weight on once they start walking so fingers crossed it's nothing serious.

Celsie - Sorry to hear about your GD. Try not to worry, it seems to be really common nowadays doesn't it? I was borderline last time and they told me to follow a low GI diet but I didn't have to take insulin. My friend had it really bad both pregnancies and had to inject 4 times a day. However both babies were fine, the second one had to be monitored for the first 2 days and was put in a seperate unit for 48 hours but all was good in the end. I think they will take extra measurements to see if your baby grows more than it should. But try not to stress too much :grouphug:

Yes the fires are just terrible, it makes you realise how lucky we all are for what we have. I work for a charity and a group of staff have gone down to organise kids activites etc. I couldn't go because I have Lewis and DH works nights but I would have loved to have been able to help out.

We too have been having a rough time health wise. Started out with the girls getting colds which has turned into yukky chesty coughs and for some reason DD#2 can't keep her temp down. Been to dr so just have to monitor. So for mummy & daddy it's been not much sleep - which of course results in mummy getting sick. Ah shuz butt! :wall: Then to make things a little more spicy as though colds weren't fun enough, :rolleyes: DH crushed and broke his finger at work on the weekend and bless him, he's trying to do as much as he can to help but you just don't realise how important a limb is until you can't use it!

But it all pails into insignificance in a sense when you watch the news - doesn't take away from what we each are going through but you just realise how blessed you are. Gosh I've lost count how many times I've had a tear! A group of us girls associated through my craft business are planning a fundraiser event for it all. It may or may not be much but in my mind every little bit counts.

I went out shopping straight after I posted. I bought some cot manchester and newborn clothes in (insert four lettered name of a colour in here) (yes, I realise both pink and blue have four letters... :lol:) for this little baby. I've not bought it a single thing till today! I know... horrible Mummy. Made me feel so much better though. Amazing what a bit of retail therapy will do.

I got a call from a Diabetes Counsellor whilst I was out. She was lovely and was able to squeeze me in for an appointment tomorrow. So, all my questions will be answered then. There's about four or five girls in my belly buddies who have GD now, so they've been great with support and advice. I've been told to expect the Ob's to try and take over with everything, including the birth, so I'm going to try and keep control as much as I can.

I was able to feel no: 2's foot yesterday. He/she was sticking it straight out of my belly, so I grabbed it and received a hard kick for my troubles. I remember playing the same game with Caeleb. Must be getting squashy in there as I can feel elbows, knees and heels most of the time now, especially at night time when I'm trying to sleep. Still no stretch marks either!!! YAY!!! :hooray:

Okay, I've got to go start cleaning my house. I've got my MIL coming over to look after Caeleb while I'm at my appointment tomorrow. For some strange reason, she never calls before coming over and every time she comes over, my house looks like a tip. Yet, when it's immaculate, no-one ever comes over... is it just me, or does this happen to everyone?

Oh Celsie! Yay it's not just me!!! *hugs* I have gotten a rather big bee in my bonnett (DH thinks its a wasp, lol) and so I am pulling things apart and chucking things out and rearranging etc etc......and everyone decides it's time for a visit to Charly's house!! Sooooo embarrassing!!

Just a selfish vent warning *blush* my sister is due end of may with her first bubs. We've become quite close in the past couple of years yet recently, she'd rather involve her friend (who has been then hasn't been then has been her friend etc). So her friend is helping set up the nursery, her friend is going to appointments (my one chance it seemed went when I came down with gastro) and they go out shopping together. DH & I offered so many of DD#2's things to her and now she's tellling me stories of how wonderful her friend is and she gave her this and this and this and this.....all which I had already offered her. I'm embarrassed as I know I'm simply jealous so am trying to refocus my thoughts and send baby vibes and sticky dusts to DH's sister and getting all the things spick and span for her. I am so fine if she doesn't want them though!;) Its just with my sister, it was like her friend was her saviour for doing what i had already done. I am making all the invites (all 25+) of them!! :o for the baby shower and co-ordinating it all but it seems like, well I'm supposed to now because I'm the sister, ykwim?

Ahhhh :redface: sorry, just feeling bit sad and sorry for myself today. So much so I've rearranged DD#2's bedroom! Lol! (hence the bee/wasp :D)


Anywhooooos :D DH did get intrigued, almost excited when I began to discuss with him giving baby things away. He thought I'd finally been won over and yep, 2 babies was enough for us. Wroooo-ung!! :rofl: I said, "Nooooooo, if we do go again, we'll just be given stuff or buy things brand new but there's not much point us having the stuff when clearly we won't be needing it all for the next couple of years. We're kind of doing our own family Red Cross drive too - that's what spurred the big clean up - to donate as much as we can. Tyring to explain to DD#1 why was quite comical. In the end, after I had explained that fire had taken all the mummies, daddies & children's things, she asked if they were naked then???? Ah innocence is precious.

Sorry been MIA for a while (but i guess you are getting used to that lol).. ok... update on our life!


DD is in her big bed has been for about a month woohooo.. the past 2 weeks she has been anightmare and not wanting to sleep until 10pm. She would scream and cry for a good 1-2 hrs and it was dreadful .

So what i did the past 2 nights was put her in her bed after her routine and told her i would sit on the couch next to her bed until she fell asleep.. and MIRACLE .. asleep within 10 minutes... so will do this for a little while and see how we go.!

Oh hun i hear you on this one!

My sister has a 7 month old. And i only moved back to brisbane 10 months ago so got the share thethe last few months of her pregnancy. I even threw her baby shower etc when i moved down.

But she lives about 60km (1 hr drive away) so we dont get to see each other much!.... however she drives over to visit her FRIEND almost twice a week and not me... now normally i could care but her friend lives about 900m down the road from me... so figure that one out!

And if i invite to come shopping or for a drink or whatever... she shows up with this friend as well, so they need to leave together blah blahblah... no idea and i got upset about it for the past 6 months and now i am not caring anymore. I dont know why she does it and thought maybe she hates my kids, hates me - then figured it is her problem (terrible thing to say i know) but what else can i do?

Celsie - will be thinking of you this prge with the GD. I have a friend who had to successful birth with GD (she is actually insulin dependent as well outside of pregnancies).. and how cool about the feet.!!

Well DH is having his tubes done on thursday . It is hard because we dont want more kids but i think he is nervous as he has never been in hospital before (lol... and he's married to an RN ironic!).
I told him i would rather him back out then have him resent it for the rest of his life... will see how the week pans out

Have been discussing in great detail with DH the subject of guardians for both kids and God Parents for No. 2. We made a huge mistake with Caeleb's God Parents. When he was born, one of my brothers and his wife (Nick & Sue) took a huge interest in him and were heavily involved in his life for the first three months after he was born, so they seemed like the natural choice. On the day of the baptism however, Nick sat there, rolling his eyes through-out the service (obviously didn't agree with what was being said) and had a stand off with my other brother (Chris) right outside the church. If that wasn't bad enough, he and his wife all but vanished from Caeleb's life. Caeleb saw him for the first time since his 1st birthday (which he rocked up 2 hours late and left early from) and was upset because Caeleb had no idea who he was. You've got to be kidding... you don't even call to see how he's going and you expect a 19 month old to remember that you visited him once in the past 12 months?!? Grrr....

Anyway, so this time around, we don't want to make that mistake again. I've become really close to a girl I met about 12 months ago through child and youth health. Our boys are best friends and we get along really well. She is religious (which obviously my brother Nick isn't), so that's a step in the right direction, but when I mentioned that I was thinking about asking her to my Mum, she said that I should ask my other brother (Chris) this time, because you should ask family first. Now, I have no issues with Chris, except that we never see him, he has nothing to do with Caeleb and makes no effort to be involved in my life, never has... so why does she think he'd be the best choice?

She also wants me to make this brother guardian of the two kids. He has two teenage kids and has been involved with a woman for the past 5 years who has three kids of her own. I think that they're both good parents and I mostly agree with their parenting techniques, but I do see that her children are favoured over his. So, I think, if something were to happen to us and the kids went to live with them, would she do the same thing with my kids?

I've already told my parents that we wouldn't make them guardian, because they argue too much. Don't get me wrong, they love Caeleb more than anything, but I grew up with anxiety as a child because of their arguing (not that they recognise that they had any part of it). They constantly pick fights and bicker with each other. I don't even think they even realise they're doing it any more. I can't have Caeleb grow up walking around on eggshells like I did.

Have you girls (and guy) assigned guardians in your wills?
