Babies Born June 2007 #8

In searching I have my suspicions that Princessmya and PinkPalace are one and the same! :) .... I could be wrong but I'm sure I just read PinkPalace's birth story for Ashley and it is in fact Princessmya!!! Anyone confirm or deny this?!?! :D

I think you're right Charly. I was looking through the June/July 07 threads and saw PinkPalace in there but I dont remember that name at all so I think it must be Princessmya!!!

And how weird is it reading through those old posts!!! All that talk about cheeseburger cravings and braxton hicks - tooo funny!!!

I know! :lol: its amazing how fast time really has gone! And now we all have these little independant (of sorts!) beings who are just too adorably cute!!! I forget all the aches, pains, toilet bowl bonding moments as well as the yeowchies that came with pushing a watermelon out a hole the size of a lemon!!!!!!!!!!!! :o .....

being on this site has opened my eyes even wider. i didnt realise 'MY GIRLS' could be so gross!!!:rolleyes:

luckily for me and DW she didnt physically sick but she was nauseous for about an hour every lunch time and she said she wished could spew and relieve the feeling....dont know what would be better.

i have the day off work today but i cant enjoy it as i have NATEs cold and as you all know us men get the cold worse than you chicks so am about to go back to bed with my phone in case i have to call ambulance;)

Well DH went back to work today after having just over 6weeks off for leave!!! Happy for the leave, miss him already! But omg!! Sooo hard atm with this darn back/hip guff.....not very helpful for picking up moochies.......good thing for tiles......just slide her across them.... hahahahahahahaha!!

hey and btw dragonstorm......good idea re: sticky for birth dates......:clap:.......I think there is a similar thing with the belly buddies - they have estimated due dates at the start of each thread.

So hope you don't mind but have taken the idea to the mods and see what they think :) saves trying to rack our brain each year for birthday dates hey?!? :D

the cold is lingering, didnt have to call ambulance as i decided to tough it out. thankfully my nose isnt dripping, like Nates mouth, at last.

back to work(if you could call it that) today, DW is staying st home on thursdays now so she can look after him. she has the ability to work from home so she now does it every thursday for the moment until we decide to put nate in daycare for four days aweek. currently there mon,wed and friday. i get to look after him tuesday and usually try to make it home in time to bath and bed him. its a precision exercise that we have been able to design and on paper it works great......however since NATE grabbed said paper and tried to eat it we can no longer read and are resigned to winging it every day...

so be it!

Ok, does anyone mind if I have a slight vent?!?! :redface:

I am sooooooooooooo done with sickness in my house!!!!!!! :wall: It felt like we were never sick....maybe the odd sniffle and then we had a big bout of it (I started it :redface:) and we haven't seemed to be able to fully get over it.........I was sick at least 6 weeks ago!!!!! It just seems that one of us four is under the weather, or something else happens (I threw in the pelvis issue .... guess I was subconsciously after some variety :rolleyes:) What bought the vent on was that I was on DD#2's floor last night as she just wouldn't settle - very unlike her these days. I put it down to her teeth as her gums are quite red plus there are obvious white lumps. But when I took her temp this morning it was 39!! Too high for just teething. She's just only finished one course of Amoxyl for a tiny ear infection and we thought she'd come good. Well we had 2 days of goodness.............aaarrrrggghhh!! I feel so embarrassed when people ask how we are because the other day we said that we were just all getting over some sicknesses etc and they said, "Again?!?!" I feel like my girls are on a good routine with sleep, food/drink etc..........I just don't get it!!! Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! :wall:

Hey Everyone!!!!

OMG it has been sooo long hasn't it! Our my DH decided to spill red wine all over the laptop and leave it there overnight! So .... $800 and month and months later .. we have a repaired laptop .. It's been driving me crazy! I really didn't realise how much I depended on the internet until .. we didn't have it! Paying bills the old fashioned way down at the post office .. not having information at the tips of your fingers is just aweful!

It was Mackenize 1st Birthday yesterday !!! It has gone soooo quickly, I remember seeing my BFP like it was yesterday ... we had a fantastic day .. I organised a little "mini" Party with some bubbles .. an episode of the "Night Garden" .. lots of Cake .. a teddy bears picnic .. it was alot of fun. Mackenzie was throughly exhausted at the end .. but still woke up 4 times during the night ARG!

Kenzie is walking EVERYWHERE now .. she has just got the hang of it in the last 2 weeks and is learning how to stand up without pulling herself on the furniture. She is a real little toddler now .. so cute! Still a SAHM and loving every minute of it! We are in the process of trying to get her into her into her own cot .. next time DEFINATLY cot from the beginning.

I havent read through the thread yet .. just wanted to post quickly .. I will come back later tonigh when everyone is sound asleep and I have a hot chocolate in hand to read how everyone is going!

I missed Bellybelly and all the June 2007 mummies *hugs* to everyone.

Well, we have spent the weekend moving to a new flat. Finally we will have two bedrooms, so Diana can have her own room (although I want her to sleep with us until she's about 2 - but she can have her toys and things in there, etc).

Diana kissed me yesterday! Twice. She came up to me, leaned forward and put her little mouth to my face. It was so cute. :redface::heartbeat: Today she grabbed her toothbrush during bath time and started brushing her own teeth! :clap: She is growing up so fast... Not walking yet though.

I have my last uni assignment for the term due in on Tuesday. It has been hard to write it whilst moving and trying to look after Diana. Luckily we didn't move far (our new flat is in the same building as our old one - we just moved up two floors). So I am planning to finish my essay tomorrow morning and then pack my computer up and move it (it is still in the old apartment), then wait for our Internet to be connected in our new place. Already there are delays and I am likely not to have a connection until Thursday. Hope and pray there are no further problems. :pray:

It is my birthday on Wednesday and I am planning to go out to dinner with a few friends on Friday - it will be just the girls, DH and Diana will stay at home. Looking forward to it as I haven't been out by myself since Diana was born! (No complaints though. :))

Just thought I'd share my news, DH's sister had a little boy this morning, Ethan weighing 3.33kg. So little Lewis is no longer the baby of the family and is now the 3rd of 4th grandsons so lock up your daughters!

Poor Mikayla seems to be loosing her voice and has a sore throat. Went to the pharmacy last night and they've told me to give her Neurofen every 6 hours for the inflammation - she doesnt seem as whiney today so it must be working.

I had another blood test today and just got a call from the clinic. I have to go in tomorrow morning for an ultrasound and my trigger injection :o OMG its all happening now!!!!!

Sarah I had my u/s today - there were 19 on right but only 2 possibly 3 of those are viable (all the others were under 10mm so too small) and 25 on the right but none of those looked any good, she said they were all way too small. So looks like we only have 2 :( But I cant be too pesamistic because with Mikayla we only had the one!! I give myself the trigger tomorrow morning so they get an extra day to grow :pray:

Teepee - Oh well, like you say you only needed one last time. You don't want triplets after all :lol: How exciting. The 2WW is nearly here......

There was a little bit of an issue about 4-5 months back with privacy/security and i had to change my username :)

It wasnt to confuse anyone on here but those that were loggin on to trace princessmya posts. it is all sorted out now so it doesnt matter that you know.

Ashley had a lovely birthday! i cant believe she is one! We are off to the doctors for her needles in 2 hours :( so sad every time.... she is still asleep (talk about a sleep in!!)

She is walking ad has 8 teeth. Is down to 1 .5 cups of cows milk a day and eating a great diet!!!

I guess i will find out how much she weighs this morning.

If anyone didnt know from my ticker lol... i am 21 weeks pregnant too so it is getting to the count down now for ashley to meet her little bro/sis.

Mumoflewis - congrats! mmy sister is due in just over a week.. it will be my first neice (i think) or nephew! And love Ethan. if we have a boy that is the name we are going ot have!!

PinkPalace - Congratulations on your pregnancy! Yes some eagle eyed person on this thread spotted your news so we were all very excited, you were the first one to get pregnant again along with Meegm! I hope it has been an easy ride what with running after Ashley too :lol: And she sounds very well too walking about already.....

Talking of cow's milk, when they start drinking it do you cut their milk intake down then? I must look into it but Lewis is on 3 x 220ml bottles of formula a day so should I start reducing that, I just hadn't given it a thought!

Ashley has been having it on cereal for about 2 months
Then about 2-3 weeks ago i jsut swapped it... put cows milk in her bottle instead and she didnt notice. and i just stopped giving her milk after lunch (offer her water in stead as i figure she doesnt need the lunch botle as it is not going to give her the nutrients a bigger lunch would now that it is cows milk). she didnt seem to notice

i slowly increased her meals sizes so she wasnt hungry for milk and she has about 80-100ml after breaky and then 250 ml b4 bed (nice and warm to make her sleepy).

Thanks for that. I am going to introduce cows milk in a few weeks after we have been on holiday. Will look into reducing his milk as he eats more, I will probably offer him a cup with his lunch and see if it bothers him or not.

Well Sarah you hit the nail right on the head!! The nurse called my this morning (just before I was about to take my trigger) and asked us to come back in because she'd been thinking about us all night and was concerned about that 3rd follie. I had another u/s and yes she was right the 3rd one had caught up and they're now all the same size!! She rang the doctor who said, because I fell pg on the 1st OI cycle last time, he strongly suggested that we DONT go ahead with it this month. He said that the chances of conceiving triplets was way to high to risk!! Matt & I thought about going ahead anyway but then they started telling us about the chances of loosing one or more of the babies along the way and we just thought that it wasnt something we wanted to go into knowing the risks. If it happened naturally then it would have been a different story. It is hard though, as Matt said to me earlier, it feels like we're getting rid of a baby who hasnt even had the chance to live yet :( After trying for so long and truly knowing what a blessing it is to have kids we're walking away from an almost certain pregnancy :crying:

Sorry about the long and somewhat negative post guys but I always feel better after venting to you all xx

Oooh Teepee, what a difficult situation. But yes multiple pregnancies do carry extra risks don't they. Plus multiple children do carry extra stress :lol:
What happens next time if you get more than 2 follicles again? Can they lower your dose a bit. I once had four follicles, it makes me wonder why they let me go ahead. Maybe they knew I was a lost cause! :wall:
Oh well, everything happens for a reason they say so keep your chin up......

Sarah they said they'll definitely reduce the dose for the next cycle and if it keeps happening then we might have to move on to IVF so its more controlled. She said the main reason they are hesitant is because I fell pg on the 1st cycle last time. She said my problem is obviously just ovulating and once we get that going that I'm actually quite fertile - hence the hesitation when there are more than 2 follies. If there are only 2 next month they will be happy to go ahead.
