PP - Look at her big girls room!!! I bet she was so excited. As soon as my parents move their stuff into their new house and out of our spare rooms, we'll start on Caeleb's big boys room. I already have everything (quilts, pictures etc, except furniture. We'll go hunting for something cool for him Friends of mine got a racing car bed for their son and it's soooooo cool! We're doing a pirate theme, so will look out for a boat bed!!!

MumofLewis - how cute is your little one?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Adorable!!
Celsie - love the pirate theme idea! Pinkpalace - are you completely handy at sowing?! Sounds like you're a whiz!I'm a complete kwamby when it comes to that......the best stitching I do is of the cross kind ;) and even then, that takes too long, lol!
Well DD#2 did the funniest thing today, well funny to me, hehe. She grabbed two duplo lego blocks and joined them together all by herself!! The funny bit was how she threw her hands in the air holding the joined blocks and yelled like she was cheering for herself!! :cryinglaugh: Then she pulled them apart and did the same thing! It was hilarious!! Then she started to cheat......she would only hold the two blocks in one hand and not join them together but still put her hands in the air and barrack for herself!! Ah ahahahahahaha! Oh too funny!
Well hope all you newly pg chickadees are enjoying your new pg journey........not throwing too much love towards the loo I hope! ;) Got the official word today from a friend who had to turn to IVF for her 3rd bubby, long story.........but she is almost through her first trimester!!! So excited for her!!
Anyways, bbl lovelies!
Mwa!!
Charly - i am getting there in the sewing/knitting department. I am self taught so has been a lonnnnnnng process lol.:)
Yay for the duplo blocks! they do get so proud of themselves dont they -its adorable!.
Self taught! Wow you have patience! :D and yes, DD#2 can be so modest sometimes......not! ;) Lol!
Laura133 - just saw your other thread re: your little one, I hope he returns to 100% soon. Thinking of you love
Hello
Just checking in to say hello before our thread disappears off the face of the earth!:p
Hope everyone is well and all those UTD 'Mum to be's' are feeling good.
We are fine, Lewis is having a no sleep day today  Oh the joys! He has a rash on is back and tummy and behind his ears, lots of little red dots. Anyone have an idea what it could be? I'm wondering if it is just a heat thing, I know it's not hot but thought maybe we have too many layers on him as it is warming up a bit. There's nothing on his arms and legs.
Apart from that just looking forward to spring in 3 days time YAY!
My girls do get the odd heat rash either on tummy/back even on the back of the neck but nothing what it sounds like Lewis has  Does he have a temp or is irritable or anything like that? Or is it just the rash? Its the behind the ear bit that stumps me! I wonder if its tied into him not sleeping? Could it be worth a visit to the GP? Hope it clears up soon!
And yes, yay on spring!! :cheer:
DD#1 came out with a doozy yesterday  she asked me about the 'fluff' under my elbow........but she was pointing under her own arms. So I asked if she meant under my arms and she said yes, can i show her the fluff under my arms?!?! I tried so hard not to laugh and said that its hair and mummy doesn't have any coz mummy shaves, like daddy shaves his face. She asked if when it comes back if I could show her! Ah kiddies, too funny :heartbeat:
ROFL - Charly!!! I think that is just adorable! Fluff!!!
Sarah - Caeleb sometimes get's little red dots on his back and front from heat, but never around his ears. I agree with Charly, a trip to the GP is in order. Might be an allergy?!? Oh and I had a look at your photos in the Gallery. Lewis is just gorgeous! You should be really proud. He's a credit to you both.
I'm really sick of morning sickness. I only ever vomit the tiniest little bit and then feel nauseous all day long. I'm taking Maxalon. I've still got a large box left from when I was pregnant with Caeleb. I don't have the box itself, so I'm unsure of the dosage. Is it a maximum of 3 a day? Would love to know if anyone else has any.
hi Celsie!
I had nausea up to about week 12-14 this time around and really bad ! but no vomitting. Yes you cant take the maxolon less than 8 hrs apart! It makes me fall asleep! lol found this out the hard way at work hehe.
Ashley is getting her canines through so she is a ball of drool and snot! eeewwwwww!
she already has 12 teeth... and the next 4 look like they are coming!!!! mmmm
Hey PP, Lewis is also getting his canines, number 13 popped through yesterday on the bottom. I can't wait, it will look like he has all his teeth when they arrive!
His rash has gone now so am going to keep an eye on things and take him to the GP if it comes back. He does still itch his ears though so have been putting calamine on.
We held our big annual fundraising dinner last night (I work for a homeless youth charity) and I bought a photographic session plus big photo in the auction worth $800. I got it for $120 so very excited. Am going to get photos done of Lewis as a surprise for DH for Xmas. Eric Bana was at the dinner, he's a hottie in theflesh! So a good night all round!
Hi everyone!
Sarah sounds like you had a great time last night. Did you get to have a chat to Eric Bana??
Mikayla still doesnt have her molars or canines yet :( I know it wont be fun when they're coming through but I cant wait till she'll be able to chew better. Sounds like Ashley & Lewis have a full mouth of teeth :D You lucky ladies will have no more teething until they're 2!!!! We were watching some videos of her when she was 5 months old and just starting to crawl - OMG I cant believe how small she was, it seems like a lifetime ago doesnt it?
Celsie how's the m/s going?? Maxalon never worked for me with Mikayla, nothing seemed to! But this time it doesnt seem that I need anything (God I hope thats not a bad sign!) Good luck with your scan tomorrow hun. I'll be thinking of you as I have mine!!!
Its been pretty quiet in here lately. Hope everyone is doing ok. Take care xx
Hi everyone.
Just wanted to let my bestest ladies (& man!) know that I had my scan today and I'm soooo relieved that everything went ok!!! Bubs measures 7weeks3days so my EDD hasnt changed and we could see its little heart beating which was so reassuring. Heartbeat was 145bpm. Do you guys remember when we used to talk about heart rates giving an indication of gender - did this prove to be true for anyone???? I'll have to look back at what Mikayla's was, I cant remember.
Here is bub#2's first photo... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...as999/bub2.jpg
Mikayla has a runny nose today and was coughing alot in her sleep last night - I hope she doesnt get too sick. I hate it when she's not feeling well because my happy little monkey goes all quiet and sulky - yes I know the quiet part is good, just wish she didnt have to get sick to achieve that!!! :D
Celsie where are you?????? How did you go today hun?? Hope to hear from you very soon
Sarah & Zofia have you had any contact from Lexismum at all? I havent seen her around since we met up. I hope everything is ok!
I'm here Tina!!! I'm just too sick and too tired to jump online and post.
We went and had the scan. Everything seemed fine. Measuring at 6 weeks 6 days (I thought I was 7 weeks), so I'll leave my EDD as it is. Heartbeat was clearly visible, 146 BPM. I was either not told or didn't keep a record of what Caeleb's heart rate at this stage, but anything over 140 is supposed to be a girl. Although this theory was disproven about 30 years ago. At the 12 week scan, Caeleb's was 156 BPM and he's a boy!!!
DH is home this week, doing jobs around the house that he wouldn't get time to do normally. We went to Mitre 10. A really smokey car was in front of us... and that was it. I got DH to pull over and I was sick, outside Mitre 10, infront of all those men buying nails and wood! But... I don't care! I'm so sick and tired if anyone had said anything I would have ripped their heads off.
Caeleb has just about pushed me over the edge as far as my patience goes tonight, so I'm going to go run a bath and relax.
p.s. Tina - that's a lovely clear shot of your beautiful little baby. Our photo isn't so clear, but I'll scan it at some stage and put it up for people to look at anyway. :) What do you think of our new belly buddies? I can't say I like them too much. Too many for a start and they're just all over the place. I think I'll just lurk around here and share my journey with these wonderful girls in here that I've grown to know and love. :grouphug:
