Just a quick one...... DJ slept from 10 til 7am Yipeeeee so I had a great sleep last night, still feel very tired but at least it was a good sleep.
Taking DJ into my work to meet everyone so that will be nice, just hope he is on his best behaviour ;) Plan to feed him before I leave home and change nappy as well so then he shouldn't winge too much. My office is really open planned so you could hear him crying from the ground floor if you were just on level 2 so don't want him to cry when I get there.
Well girls, I have to get myself ready for mums and bubs exercise class and without Prama :( boo hoo won't be the same without you sweetie ;)

Yay! Jesse went down around 10.30 last night & slept til 5am! Then 7.30. I really hope this time he sticks to it. I've started to give him a FF before bed, hoping he will sleep longer. I've done it twice. The first night he slept a little bit better, but last night was heaps better. I'll be sticking to it! I used to do it, then I forgot one night & he still slept all night so I stopped worrying about it.
All these weeks & that was probably the only reason he wasn't sleeping properly.
Bri has the flu today. I really hope she keeps it to herself. She usually does though. She gets sick all the time coz she's got a heart murmer. Everything that goes around she gets it. & most of the time she is the only one in the family. It's so much fun. Glad I've only got one like that though!!
Prama - glad your flight was easy. I'm so jelouse. I'm sitting here freezing my butt off! & thats with the heaters on! I love the heat. & I'd love to be able to put just a singlet & nappy on jesse so I can see his chubby little legs kick around.

I am off for another flogging at the gym, hopefully i will feel fairly normal this time bloody cold!!!! Nothing like trying to get fit when you aren't 100%. It always hurts when you have had a few weeks off, very frustrating when you start to get somewhere then get sick and have to start all over again.
Summy didn't sleep too well last night, i ate lots of veges last night trying to be healthy, hope they don't upset her tummy :( such a PIA cos salad and veges give her wind but what do you do?????
Hope you all have a good day, it's horrible here and i have the biggest pile of washing which i have to carry out to the laundry in the rain.

All girls - It's finally stopped raining here!I've got about 8 loads of washing to catch up on. & that doesn't include stripping the beds. Not looking forward to it. Will be good to finally have some clean clothes though!

Yesterday I suddenly felt really overwhelmed so I said to matt that I had to get out the house for a while and needed to be by myself. He looked after Jazz and I felt heaps better! He's getting more confident with her now.

hi girls, another quick update.
we're doing well. poopy is still feelign the heat but he slept well in our a/c room so it was good. we have to sort our bedtime. because everything here is so busy and ppl are out and about till late, we're going to bed late. we went out for dinner w my bro (yummy seafood) and got home at 10.30. poopy was w my parents but wasnt quite asleep yet, so by the time we slept was 11ish. really need to work out whats the best time to sleep.
i need to go but will do personals later. we're going out for a bit now. we're off to Singapore tomorrow and back in KL on thursday for a broadcast conference. having dinner with my singaporean malay cousins and also heard that my cousin from india is in spore at the moment. so it will be a nice reunion! this is what i miss about being in sydney. i miss my 10,000 relos (well, not all of them, some are real PITA)
oh shell - did you go today? i saw vanessa's email abt cancelign monday classes.

Hi girls,
I took DJ into work and they loved him and he had a mini chuck on one of the girls, luckily she was a mum so totally understood. He was a little unsettled but he was just overtired, and finally slept and just fed him and he is back to sleep. I spoke with my boss about returning to work 3-4 days per week and she said that was fine and just to let her know what days I will work etc she also said she is flexible on my hours which is fantastic!!! She has a 1 year old so totally understands what I am going through. I told Doni about my visit to the office and he wants me to return to work sooner than September but I don't want to. I am not ready yet, want to enjoy my time with DJ and go back first week of September. Men!! they just have no idea!!! And anyway Doni's work's creche is not even set up yet, well doesn't officially open until July anyway ;) kehehe
Trina - it is frustrating knowing what to eat because it will cause bubs to have wind. I find it frustrating and don't worry too much about it anymore because when I checked out the list of fuss free foods, they even list chicken and beef, and I think to myself what are you supposed to eat - nothing??!!!! I had heaps of veges last week in a soup, and DJ got lots of wind but he is starting tto deal with it much better.
Prama - sounds like you are having a great time over there!! missing you as well. Yeah I went today but Ness decided to cancel Monday's - not many people attend on Mondays. Tuesdays are fine with me anyway. Miss our coffee catch-ups already.
Skye - hope Bri gets better real soon :( it is horrible to see the kids sick :(
Danni - have fun at the movies with Jazz this week.
Well i better go and get some housework done before my hubby thinks I do nothing all day. haha

Question about your babies and their farts: Are they getting smellier? Now that Jazz is going for 1-2 days without pooing her farts smell terrible! Is she the only one?

Danni Will has only ever pooed every 3 days or so and as long as 6 days and right from the start he farted like a trooper and smelt like a dog *L* it was embarassing and now even worse becasue when he farts he lets out a little cry then a giggle or a smile if you are with him as if to say how proud he was of it.

DJ poos every 1-2 days and yep his farts are very smelly so much that I always think he has done a poo but no poo just a very smelly fart haha

been trying to post since last night!!!!!!! so frustrating.
Yep SJ lots of washing only got 3 loads done so far as it is taking forever to dry in the dryer as it is about to die :doh: it wont dry on the clothes horse i did it last week and it took 3 days to dry and smelt all musty so i had to wash it all again... Yum on the fruit salad... the veges have given both me and Sumzy wind, sux cos i really enjoyed them and i have been craving too.
Sumzy has stinky farts sometimes depending on what i have eaten.
Shell, nothing like a bit of spew on your work mates!!! Better his than yours i say hehe.
I have enjoyed my quiet day today, its been great, watched bootmen Adam Garcia grrrr he's hot!!! i have seen it so many times now. Nearly time to get the girls from school geez it goes fast!!!!!!!

Hope you are all well. I am pretty good, just put DJ down to sleep. Doni is away for the night in Newcastle (thankfully only 1 night) so the TV is on Foxtel - channel E :)
DJ is good, a bit unsettled this afternoon and feeding every 2 hours and this is on formula, so think he has hit another growth spurt.
Took DJ out to get some groceries, so used the trolley seat for babies and put my nappy change mat down on the seat and he just sat there all smiles and laughing and looking around each aisle. Absolutely loved it :) Going to get one of those trolley mates, because I was always worried about him touching the trolley seat - so many germs :(
Trina - sounds like you had a great day and yeah I agree on Adam Garcia - loved him in Coyote Ugly.
SJ - I keep forgetting to get DH to put our clothes line back up because he took it down for when we had kids over playing soccer in backyard for bbq. Mind you I just use our dryer to death. Been too wet in Sydney to get things dry outside :(

Hey guys.
I watched Bootmen today too. Well most of it. Was trying to get some house work done at the same time. Anth sat there & watched the whole thing though!
I used to use my dryer for every load of washing, but after about 2 years doing it I decided to get off my lazy butt & use the line - & try to save myself some money! Hopefully all the bending down will pay off & I'll stop feeling my belly wobble when I walk! It feels so wrong considering I don't actually have a belly there.

DH is going away for 3 weeks next week he's off to Spain sailing alright for some hey! It's his birthday today he's gone to work already before i even got up!! It's Tahnies birthday on Sat she is turning 5, she is so excited not sure what to get her though, they all have so many toys might get her some jewellery although that would probably get lost in the bedroom jungle.
BJ don't you wish the jelly belly would disappear? I am trying so hard not to worry about it too much cos i know it takes quite a while to go.

Trina - yes I have had problems getting onto BB for the last week and my posts are always chewed up and never make it online. Drives me nuts especially when I type a long reply and then it disappears.
My mothers group is meeting today at Rouse Hill Library for Baby Bounce - looking forward to it. Hope DJ is good, last few mornings he has been a bit cranky. I am wondering if that is because his routine is out by an hour, do you think that could be it? This morning he was fed at 6am and then was hungry at 8am - doing all of the hungry cues so I knew he was hungry so I fixed up a formula feed and he took 70ml. I think he has just hit another growth spurt..... Ah the joys hey???

Really sad this morning my mum and dad have gone away for 7 weeks. I have been teary about it all week and didnt sleep last night Sounds silly I know but my mum has been such a great support and companion since Will has been born I feel sort of scared that my back up is gone ifkwim. Not that hubby isnt a great support but he works all day and I cant bounce alot of stuff of him or just go shopping and have a coffee.Its also nice to watch Will with his grandparents and he will change so mcuh by the time they come back. I know some people dont see ther parents at all or not for a very long time and am being a bit of a sook about it.
Our mothers group is meeting today for the first time out from the community health centre so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Is cold foggy and wet here but the cafe we are going to is cosy and has a lovley open fire and am looking fwd to their home made hot chocolate. Making the most of it as a girlfirend and I have made a deal to start back at weight watchers in July trying it get back into a normal eating pattern and is easier when you have support.

We are interviewing a couple for family daycare this afternoon and another lady tomorrow afternoon. Jazz slept for about 6 hours last night!!! I however slept for about 4.5 coz I didn't go to bed until about an hour and a half after her. At least now I can turn the monitor off and not get woken by every noise, just by actual crying.

That's nice that you are going to miss your Mum Bron, that is what you hope for when you have kids that they want to spend time with you when they are adults it is the biggest compliment you could ask for.
Well i am doing the usual, sorting out kids rooms so bloody over it!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like chucking everything out..... I am feeling so lazy at the moment the last few months have definately started catching up with me i think.
Summy is a little cranky too at the moment, she is starting to get frustrated, she can now grab things with her hands but is getting annoyed if sitting in her rocker or laying on the ground, when i pick her up she tries to grab my collar or motif's on my clothes etc. She is happy of course when i am talking to her but who can do that all day (i'd love to but the washing aint gonna fold itself) sweet little bubba she is.... What are you guys doing to amuse your one's? We do tummy time, go on playmat, read books, sing songs etc but that is only a fraction of the day amused..... She wants to sit up so bad.

Went and checked out a family day care. Jazz just couldn't stop smiling at all the other kids. The one we went to today is really well set out. At the moment they only have 2 days a week available for a baby (Tues & Thurs). We may take those days. We are seeing someone else tomorrow, an older lady. Will see what we think of her and then make a final decision. May get her started next week or the week after.
Their fees are really cheap and the main reason for that is that we have to supply everything for her, even when she's older, we'll have to supply the food for her and all that. I don't mind that though, at least I'll know exactly what she's getting. They had such a good set up. The patio is covered and set up for play and food and stuff, there is an indoor area with everything at child level and they have a computer for older kids to use and the TV is on with childrens DVDs like wiggles. They change babies on the floor on their own change mats, that way the child can't roll off and hurt themselves.

Hi guys. Been trying to post all day. Wouldn't work earlier, then when it started to work Anth came home & Had to go do other stuff.
I'm so tired. Got the flu. Poor Anth has it too, had to go to work for the first time in about 3 weeks today. Shearing with the flu. Oh well, I wasn't gonna let him stay home. They ended up with a blackout just after lunch anyway & came home, bugger it. It's supposed to rain for the rest of the week too, so he probably won't be working again.
India44 - I miss my mum, but she lives 10 hours away from me, so I dunno what it'd be like to have her there all the time. I reckon it'd be a bit harder for you than it would be for me to see her go. She'll be back soon though.
All Girls - I just wanna give up on my girls room. I did go through & throw heaps of stuff out about 2 months ago. I think I'll be doing it again very soon. Stuff just seems to appear out of nowhere!
Jesse is alot like Summer. Winges if not entertained. I usually take his rocker around the house with me with the music turned up & sing to him as I go. He loves music & singing.
Or he's got a toy that I hang off the hood of his rocker close enough that he can grab it & chew on it. Works for a little bit.
Or I just have to wait til he goes to sleep. Which isn't great since he's sleeping alot less through the day already.
When the kids are home, I sit him in front of the TV with them for a little while. He likes being with them. Your not supposed to let them watch TV, but sometimes I have no choice. I can't leave Bri & get her to amuse him, coz she'd throw him out of the rocker. She already gets rough & shakes him up! Gotta watch that one!
Can't wait til he's old enough to enjoy her doing it. He just frowns at her now. lol

Jesse rolled over this morning!
It was at 5.30. I was out making lunch for Anth when he started crying. I thought he'll be right while I get this done & left him to cry for a minute.
When I went in he was on his belly in the cot!
Poor baby was trying to get a feed out of his mattress & got frustrated & ended up on his belly.
I dunno if he'll do it again, but it's exciting anyway!
Shell - I really hope you get some rest today.

DJ was much better last night - slept through til 5:30am and then put him down at 6am and slept through til 8:30 so happy with that :) Just put him down for his morning sleep. Taking him into my husbands work, he wants to show him off. Hubby also has his performance review today so he is going to ask about a payrise, especially with all of this travel he is doing. In his last review they said he wouldn't do much travel at all, and it is the complete opposite.
Hope you are all having a great day. A friend (also new mum) and I are going to see Sex and the City tonight, can't wait!!! So looking forward to seeing it and it will be good to have some me time :)

Summy had a bad night last night, grizzly cranky and hungry not good when i had to work tonight, so mum came and looked after her and she didn't want a bar of trying formula so I got Mum to bring her to work and she screamed all the way in the car, she was so upset poor little chick, hopefully she will have a good sleep tonight.
I'm sort of glad she didn't guzzle and really enjoy the formula (sounds bad i know) i felt bad getting it cos i wanted to get a pump but couldn't afford one.

Oh and to top of my sleepless night i was in a rush to get to the gym and walked out without my keys and locked myself out of the house but had no credit on my phone so i had to walk down the street to the shop and get a recharge card DOH!!!:doh::doh::doh: DH had to send one of his guys from work cos he was too busy.

Jazz was so good at the movies today. When she wasn't feeding, she was watching the big screen and smiling heaps (kind of funny with the smiling considering some of the nudity). It was so nice getting out to the movies, something I didn't think I'd be able to do for a long time!
We went to another family day care today, this one is run by an older lady. We've decided to book some time with her. The care at her place feels just like "going to visit grandma" so starting next week Jazz will be in care every Thursday but we've requested that as soon as Mondays & Tuesdays come available with this lady that we'd like those as well. That way, if I'm working for a full week she'll be in care Mon, Tue & Thurs. Matt will have Weds off so he'd look after then and I hope not to work full weeks yet, but if I had to then we'd see if my BIL can take Jazz on Fridays. With our CCB though, having her in care 1-3 days a week even if I'm not working will certainly not break the budget at all! I'm so excited about next Thursday!!!

Trina i have the same problem, MJ will not take a bottle and she screams at me.
Have tried someone else doing it when i am not around, but she doesnt like that either.
We are meant to be going out tomorrow and it looks like that wont be happening at all.
i dont want to leave her stressed and screaming for my sister...
When i work at the factory and Mum looks after i come home to feed her (im only 5 min drive away) so that works, but this refusal of bottles is hard and it devestates my to throw away EBM as she wont drink it
Bugger about the keys, last week i walked to our PO box to check the mail, i left my keys in the box and then walked home :rolleyes: i saw my BIL on the way back and so when i realsied i called him to see if he had checked his mail too (bth business boxes in the same place convienetly) well he had, he also saw the keys but didnt think that it was our bx so handed them in to the post office DOH!!! luckily Mum was on her way up, so i got her to call past and get them, saved me a walk.
I guess the preggy brain never really goes away!

Finally got a chance to sit down ahhhhhh
I took DJ to a mums and bubs yoga class and it was a horrible experience :( DJ was fine until halfway through and I knew he was tired and was due a sleep but just got unsettled through til the end and during the relaxation time arghhh I was so upset afterwards because I really enjoy my yoga and was in tears because I couldn't relax. Teacher told me not to be stressed because he was unsettled but I felt bad for the other women in the class because he was crying and they couldn't relax either.....so I am not doing that again. I love my yoga and I realised this is the one thing I need to do on my own and without DJ. I am finding I have lost the time to myself lately, sure hubby and I go out occasionally but I don't anything by myself, actually no I lie, the only thing I do for myself all week is my pole dancing which is 1.5 hours to myself which I absolutely love. So, started to look into yoga for just myself, going to get hubby to look after him on Thursday nights while I go to yoga.
I am putting his unsettledness down to a growth spurt and bad wind....... arghhh the joys of motherhood hey???
I went to Doni's work yesterday and checked out the creche, looks like it will be good when completed in July :) I am thinking to get him used to it before heading back to work, I might put him in for 1 day per week and it will give me a day a week to myself to do what I want. Mind you I will probably spend that one day doing some research and readings for when I return to work.
Went to movies last night with girlfriend and saw Sex and the City and LOVED IT!!! We both wanted to go for a coffee afterwards but coffee shop was closed :(
anyway girls I am going to relax a bit before DJ wakes up.
