skye - lol! what did you do then? have a nice long shower, wash your hair! it gets a bit strange with it's really quiet isnt it.

trina - hope you have a good day at work. hopefully those strange women dont come back.. :rofl: at the one that used to take her bra off!

danni - the mcn during our mg told us that jolly jumpers arent very safe cos they are hooked to the ceiling and can potentially come off and hit bub or bub could be thrown off. also they said bubs will bounce on their tip toes and that's not good for when they want to walk.. just some fyi.

All pretty good here, considering Doni still away for work. Last night DJ slept from 10 til 3am and I just put his dummy in his mouth and fell back to sleep then started grizzling so just let him grizzle on and off until 5am then fed him and he woke back up at 8:30 for his feed so that was good :) He has been pretty good today. Used my baby bjorn carrier today and found it worked really well so I could do heaps of things but found it hurt my shoulders and he wouldn't fall asleep as I thought he would..... so that wasn't a good thing doh!!! He hasn't had a good sleep today so hoping that will mean he will sleep well tonight kehehee

Skye - that is fantastic - you have to love it when that happens. I remember the first long sleep that DJ had during the day I was like OMG what do I do with myself....I felt lost as well haha

Prama - the final countdown!!!! You must be soooo excited. Are you all packed now? How has Poopy recovered from his immunisation? All ok now?

Trina - hope today goes well for you and your personal training session as well. I feel better after doing some exercise :)

Well think I might make my cuppa and get ready to feed DJ and watch Bold and Beautiful kehehe :) My mum is coming over at 6pm so that will be nice :)

hi shell - poopy was fractious yesterday but then developed a fever last night. gave him some panadol, tho he spat it out he settled a little.
and he has been clingy and fractious all day. no giggles or big smiles. he had a bit of temperature and had a little sleep. and has been crying most of the day. poor baby. i miss his happy self. it's so heartbreaking to see him sick. :( i just cry with him.. my poor poopy.

doni comes home tomorrow doesnt he? enjoy your time with your mum.. you'll be able to rest a little.
poopy's actually sitting in his bouncer now, he wanted to be held all day. he's trying to play with his rings but i can tell he's trying but the fever's bothering him.. :(

Thanks Prama. There is so much conflicting information about the jumpers. I know you can get stands for them rather than attaching them to the door frame or ceiling.

I went clothes shopping today, felt so good. My sister came along and looked after Jazz while I tried stuff on. She has free tickets to a cinima so we are going to the mums & bubs session to see sex & the city on Thursday (unless my sister has to work, she does temp work).

DH is quitting his job tomorrow and going to full time taxi driving at nights (5 nights a week). When he's not sleeping during the day he'll be able to look after Jazz if I need to go out. This does mean that I may have to go back to work in a month or 2 but will try to stretch it out until Jazz is 6 months. I think I'll just do temping to save some money for the course. I figure there is no point getting a perm job if I'm gonna quit as soon as I do the nail technician course, doesnt seem fair to an employer to quit after a few weeks.

Quick question for those who are still BF almost all the time: Do you find that you're hungry all the time, or not so much hungry, just feel like snacking heaps?

BF full time and I don't find I'm hungry much but I will snack if there's crap in the house.

Jolly jumpers are great. Never had one fall even with a toddler pushing it like a swing. Like most things everything is good in moderation and SUPERVISION.

I enjoyed the m&b session. It was great to be able to go to the movies again. Thoroughly enjoyed Sex in the city even though I didn't really watch the series.

Had our first official playgroup today. It was fun even though we were all a bit lost because babies don't do much. Good to get out and chat though.

Had the first day at the factory without MJ, Mum came up for the day and i was in floods of tears :( it was better thou and i feel less guilty as she was happy all day with Mum and i came home for her bobby call (lucky the factory is a 5 min drive away!) had lunch with mum then went back. i think that it will work until we get someone in to take over from me...

re Jolly Jumpers, i have had loads of friends that had JJ's and LOVE them... as for the walking on toes, i thought that half of bubbas did anyway when they started - i think i am going to get them. i heard about them flying off too, but maybe they werent attached properly - mine will be perminatly attached most likely

danni - i am snacking all the time, i have had to stop buying crap as i devour it. thinking about make rules and sticking them on the cupboards and fridge so that i am shamed out of eating when i go... i find that between 4 and dinner (usually 8pm i am worst)

Trina - hope your first day went well... i understand about staying away, thats why i have been absent, its so easy to get on and whinge and i dont want to do it ALL the time (just some of the time :lol:)

Teach - i think its so funny that the babies get together to 'play' and all they do is lie on their backs looking like turtles that have fallen onto their shells with their arms and legs going :rofl: ha ha

MJ is talking heaps now and i show her her feet (i bring them to her head and 'kick' her cheek) and she smiles and smiles, she loves it! She also loves the mirror heaps now
Anyway she has just woken, got to start the night routine earlier, she is wanting more sleep!!! she is sleeping from about 8pm-7.30am but she is so snoozy in the evening i am going to try putting her down earlier.

The gym was tough, i started out ok but then got really dizzy had to go to bathroom and felt like i was going to pass out or throw up. I've been not well for 4 weeks now so no wonder!! Now have a cracker of a headache.

Got to work and had 3 clients booked in who have been waiting for me, they don't like the other girl, i have a list of people to call that have waited the whole time for me, makes you feel nice :)

Mum is bringing Summy in here as i have nothing else tonight (meant to finish at 8) but bad luck.... She has slept the whole time i have been at work, which is good. I miss her :( her sweet little chubby cheeks.

Prama i hope poopy is feeling better soon it's not nice when they are sick.

SJ you kicking your MJ in the face hehehehe glad MJ was happy when you were working, you get more done when they are not there. Plus nanny was doting over her.

Danni i am 100% BF and if i am at home i could eat all day every day but when out i don't really think about it. Sometimes when i am busy i forget or don't have time to eat which is bad then i make up for it the next day hehe the bad thing is that salad gives me wind so i don't want to upset summy so have been eating lots of carbs which my body doesn't like too much.

I'm off to find panadol head is sooooo sore.

Man you guys were busy today! I can't keep up!

Well....I had a nice long shower this morning. Then got dressed & went to see the psycologist. Had a really good chat to him. I feel like we are getting somewhere now. Was there for about an hour when the dental clinic rang to book Bri in for her first checkup. 20 minutes later Day care rang to say I had to pick Bri up coz they found a nit in her hair. Great!!

Had big plans to catch up on house work today while the girls were away. But after they went thought Nah, stuff it. I'll sit on my butt for a bit & enjoy it. I wasn't planning on Bri coming home early though. Oh well. Still had a pretty good day. Jesse's starting to settle down again too.

I'm breast feeding full time. I find I'm always hungry. That could just be coz I don't get out much. Then there's the fact that I'm always forgetting to eat, so by the time I finally do I'm starving. I probably think I'm always hungry, coz I forget about it if u know what I mean.

Ok don't try to make sence of my brain. I can't even do that at the moment.

You guys are so lucky to have your mums visiting. I miss mine so much. & your all getting out to go back to work & to the gym & playgroup. I can't face being away from Jesse for any amount of time yet. I think I'm scared that coz I wanted a boy for so long something might happen... Sounds a bit wierd I know. But I still tell myself all the time that I've got a boy. It still hasn't sunk in.
Then there's the fact that I don't think I could handle pregnancy again, so I'm pretty sure he'll be my last. I wanna spend every second with his happy smiley self.

Anyways. Hope Poopy gets better soon. I'll probably post again sometime by the end of the night!

It was good of my mum coming over but I felt really up tight, not sure why, think I didn't need the company I am not sure. It was great of her to come over and help me with DJ, but I just felt odd tonight and felt as if I was going to crack. Really moody - I wonder if this is a sign that I might get my periods......


Prama - sorry to hear Poopy still not well and not his normal happy self. I hope he feels better real soon especially before you leave. You are just feeling down because you aren't receiving those happy smiles and laughs that Poopy always gives you ;)

I am good just tired, DJ was grizzly ended up feeding him at 4am so he would go to sleep and I could rest. I should have gone to bed earlier but didn't go to bed until 11pm last night so my own fault for not getting to bed earlier. At least Doni is home tonight.

I'm finding that I'm always hungry even though I make a point of eating breakfast, lunch & dinner, even if that means I have to eat while Jazz cries.

Today I'm going to look into family day care. I spoke to the head office of the people who organise family day care and they explained it a bit to me. I'll ring my local scheme today. I'm feeling ok with it and if I start temping then family day care might be the best way to go coz of the flexibility etc. I might even put her in one day a week even if I'm at home, I don't know. But they basically said that I have to register with the local scheme and then they will find carers and Matt & I will interview the carer and if we aren't happy with them then the scheme will try and find a different one. It sort of sounds a bit like a nanny. Matt was put in family day care when he was a kid. I think they are meant to be cheaper as well.

I think the thing that makes me most anxious about returning to the workforce is I'm scared to put on my business clothes. Sounds silly I know. I'm not scared in that I don't know if they'll fit coz I'm below my pre-pregnancy weight but my body shape has changed, like my hips are different. Also I'm worried about expressing in a temp job but I'm not sure if I'm ready to stop BF.

Today Matt went into work as normal and he's talking to his team leader and resigning. He's taken a big bag with him so he can clear his desk. I expect him home in about an hour.

hope you all have a better day today.... although it is Friday 13 - usually lucky for us, so fingers crossed!!!

Had an unsettled night last nighht, bit of a shock to the system as she sleep so well normally. She was buggered at 8pm so didnt have a full feed, nothing would wake her so put her to bed knowing that she would wake in about 2hrs hungry, and at 10pm she did and had a full feed and nappy change. ut her back down and she went straight to sleep, but and 11.45 she was awake again wanting another feed...i think that she had a spew on her sleep suit and was a bit cold from that, i gave her another feed, and wrapped her (i stopped wrapping a week ago) and she slept through.

Oh forgot to mention, cught up with Jo and Caitlin 2 weeks ago, Catilin is growing so fast and is a real cutie, both girls were really good, so we managed several hours of gassbaging!!!

Danni your post just popped up, hope it all goes well with Matt. DSS was in family day care a lot as a kid, i thnk its a reat idea, the only problem is the other kids that can be there as they are varing ages

I know what you mean SJ, Summy used to sleep through and doesn't much anymore, i was used to getting a great sleep then when we went away that upset everything, she hasn't been well though so there is some hope still.

I also know what you mean Shell, i get like that too just feel sh*tty and don't want to be around anyone.... I still haven't got AF which is really really good. DH doesn't want to come near me still which is weird makes me feel very unattractive like he is repulsed. He keeps saying he doesn't want any more kids but hasn't got off his butt to get snippy organized.

Skye head lice are the biggest PIA!!!!!! i had to do Codie's hair a couple of days ago, she was the only one thank goodness cos Paige's hair is very curly and very long and is the biggest pain to comb through..... The worst thing is that you can check and treat your kids every week (like i have been doing for years) and the next day they get it from another kid at school :angry:

I am trying to get my house in order have started in Codie's room and it has taken most of the morning now i couldn't be bothered anymore..... She had so much rubbish and crap under and around her bed that you couldn't even walk in the door..... Then paige and Tahnie's room is bad too i wish it would just magically fix itself it is the worst job it can be clean one minute then they pull all their clothes out and tip toy boxes out everywhere. I get them to clean it up when they do it but they just shove their clothes back in the drawers and toys get stuffed where ever... Best i stop wasting time and get on with it....

Oh i'm not sore from the gym yet which is a BAD sign means i probably wont be able to move for the next 3 days BUGGER!!

Trina sounds like you worked a bit too hard at the gym. Good on you I haven't found the time to excercise yet. I did playgroup with my other two. It's a good way to get to know other people with kids the same age. I know what you mean about kids rooms. I only clean them when they get really bad otherwise I try to make it their responsibility. Of course when I hassle them they reckon they like it that way. DD had head lice right through primary school. She has fine curly hair so they were really hard to get rid of. It's almost a fact of life in primary school these days.

I just weighed DJ at the chemist and he was 6.2kg with clothes on and they say to minus 200g for clothes so he would be 6kg now :) So happy that introducing the formula is working for him. I started to replace the midday feed with formula as well, so that is now 2 feeds per day replaced with formula instead of booby feed and already I am feeling less stressed about the whole feeding regime.... I am sooo looking forward to being completely off breastfeeding, he now only breastfeeds for 2-5 mins and pushes my boob away, then I try the other side and still same thing, so then I have to give him top-up in formula. I have had to express the milk he doesn't take so that I don't end up with lumpy boobs.

Trina - yeah was wondering if it was just me or if AF was about to visit, because yesterday I thought I needed the company and was looking forward to my mum coming over but when she was there I didn't really feel like talking but just relaxing.... I can understand why you would be upset about DH not wanting to come near you. Have you tried talking to him about it and letting him know how it makes you feel? haha on the more kids though, I have told Doni if he gets me pregnant again he will have to put up with a wife going through a severe nervous breakdown haha I don't think I could handle falling pregnant again, at least not for a few more years..... Still getting over the whole birth experience.

SJ - I am finding the same thing. I had one whole week of DJ sleeping right through the night and now he is back to waking up at 3am then grizzling throughout the morning. I don't know, he could be just missing Doni because he is always unsettled at night when Doni isn't home..... Funny how babies can sense things....

Danni - know what you mean about putting on the business clothes. I have to go back to work in 2.5 months and I hope all of my clothes fit me too. I am going to put on a 3 month layby at Target and get a few new things for work and that way I have a few months to pay off the layby.

Well girls, going to check-in on DJ and see if he is asleep and then get some shut eye myself before I get stuck into cleaning the house. Just got a call from Doni's dad who wants to come over tonight grrrrr so much for just spending time with my hubby alone with DJ :( I was hoping to have a nice bubble bath tonight as well. Right, I've registered with family daycare. They are going to call me again in 2 weeks to see if I'm any closer to deciding when I'm going back to work.

I put on some of my business clothes today. I can still carry off the look, in some ways, better than before I was pregnant. But, I just don't feel like that person anymore. I used to love being dressed corporately but now I don't feel comfortable like that. I'm used to jeans and drool stained tops (although I do still try and dress smartly most of the time so I always have a chuck cloth around my shoulder and have only been chucked on 3 times).

I guess if I start temping then I can pick and choose a bit and I may have a job for a week and then I might have a week with nothing. Sure, moneywise it's not the best, but to ease back into things it could be good.

Thing I'm also concerned about is how I'll perform at work when I've been up a couple of times in the middle of the night. And, how long will I have to give myself to get both Jazz and I ready in the morning?
Maybe I'll start her one day a week before I start working so I can get used to it. I'd have to aim to have us both ready and her dropped off at day care and me ready to go to work by 7am I think. Yes, practice runs might be the way to go before the real thing IYKWIM.

Actually, I just found the right words for how I feel in business clothes now that I'm a mum: I feel like I'm "pretending to be something I'm not" which I know isn't true coz I know that I'm good at admin, sure after 5 months away from it I'll be slightly rusty, but it wont take long to get back into it but that doesn't mean that it will feel right anymore.

At least I've still got my typing speed after all my forum chatting. :lol:

Sounds like this must be just a stage the bubs go through, seems like they've all stopped sleeping as well as they used to. Glad I'm not the only one walking around with big black bags under my eyes!!

Danni - I loved the idea of family day care. I think coz it's more of a family environment. In someone's home. I think it's no more than 5 kids & only 1 of them can be under 1. When I was looking at it I met the woman & got to look through the house. The kids I think are only allowed to be in a bedroom for a nap with a kid of the opposite sex if they are brother & sister.
Very different to child care. The carer has less kids to deal with too, so they are more like extended family.

All Girls - Don't you wish it was possible for head lice to become extinct?? Why can't that happen?? Life would be so much easier! Just gotta get used to it I guess. & bedrooms - Don't get me started!! I am still getting over the first time they trashed it the same day I cleaned it & they've done it twice since!!
It looks like a bomb's hit it 99% of the time. If I clean it & they mess it up I leave it for a few weeks. Jazmyne is the one who usually does it & I think she's old enough to learn what happens if you live like that. So when she comes sooking to me coz she can't find something or tripped on something in her room I remind her that if it was clean she wouldn't have that problem. She doesn't like it much, but will still fight with me all day long to not clean her room. Hmmm.

When at psycologist yesterday he told me to start keeping a journal of all the things she does. I started at 4.15pm to day & have aleady put in 5 seperate things & filled up 2 pages. It's 5.05pm. Less than an hour.

I think I might get AF soon. I get the depo needle & got it when Jesse was 2 days old. Am still breastfeeding, which prolongs return o AF, but depo has run out, so I don't think BFing will count. Gotta get to the doc on Monday. Keep forgetting. Thats one thing I gotta do!!

Matt found out that his driver accreditation is expired and it's going to take 2 weeks for a new one to come through, also he's got to get another police clearance before he can start driving again. So it's gonna be at least 2 weeks before he can start working...

Soooo, I've bit the bullet and sent my resume to a temping agency. I'll probably be going in next week for an interview and have told Matt that he will have to look after Jazz and learn to deal with anything without calling me.

He hasn't successfully given her a bottle or changed a pooy nappy yet. Sucked in to him if he gets a poo, he'll just have to deal with it. I told him that tomorrow I want him to give her a bottle so I know that he can confidently do it. He had no idea about making sure to occasionally let air into it and he didn't know how far the teat is meant to go in and he doesn't know how to make the bottle up (although it's self explanitory on the tin). But I normally premeasure the water and the formula so all he has to do is add the formula. But I'm gonna make him do it all. I sound like a complete control freak dont I?

It's just that whenever he's looked after her, I end up getting a call 30mins to an hour later coz she's crying and he doesn't know what to do and wants me to come home but if I'm in an interview or working he wont be able to do that so he'll have to work it out just like I do!

I was shaking when I got off the phone to the temping agency though, I'm so nervious which is unusual coz I used to be so confident with interviews and things like that.

I asked while on the phone about expressing. They said that it would be on a client by client basis as some clients don't have a private room that can be used for expressing. But they did say that I have every right to express and commended me on wanting to do what I can to keep feeding and also returning to work. I'm so apprehensive about it, but I realise that for us I think it's really quickly becoming a necessity for me to return in a matter of weeks.

Wow. I like their reply to you wanting you to express. I'm amazed. They actually were trying to encourage you to keep going!! It's amazing the responses you get out of people you least expect isn't it?

danni is your family day care the same in sa as in nsw as in if u have booked a place you have to pay for it wether you use it or not? how will it work temping if you have to work different days? sorry to hear about matt having to wait to get back to work

i am going to visit our family dayare in september to book Will in for next year,still got to talk boss into 2 days a week yet fingers crossed.

a whole week of Will sleeping through the night yay a whole week ome still waking everyv hour from 2 till 7 ha ha

had a mad mad mad day today. it's friday the 13, i think that's why.
i lost my ring, and was going crazy, and finally found after arguments and tears in the nappy bag. was trying to wash our clothes to take away and the washing machine was acting up this morning so didnt get it all done. it seems to have sorted itself out and now it;s behaving itself. so still waiting for it all to dry and pack the last bits. im going mad. i was almost pulling my hair out.

poopy is back to his normal self, but he;s had a few changes this week. i feel like he's grown up a bit, im a bit sad.
he's being cheeky and fighting sleep.
he's starting to want to grab things more and has better hand-eye control, and depth perception.
his talk has changed a little.

and the good news is that he rolled for the first time today!!! i was so excited. he did it at MIL's sofa. we were chatting andhe was in middle of the sofa and i was saying he hasnt started rolling yet. then mum said he's moving his hip and leg like he's trying to roll. and i said nver seen him do that. he kept doing that for a bit, then mum went to take her cat out of his room. while she was doing that, he turned to his side and then rolled to his tummy! hooray!
he seems like a different baby this week. i can see his growing up and not the same itty bitty baby..

Good luck Danni I really hope it goes well for you going back to work I can understand the nervousness but I am sure you will do just fine.Ive worked in the same place for 17 years but am still nervous about having been out for 6 months already.

Washing machines are the bane of my life ours always went off balance made the most horendous sound, leaekd some sort of oil or rust stuff onto the clothes and last week totally tore up one of NIcks work jumpers becasue apeice of plastic had cracked.. So off to Harvey Norman I went on Sunday and bought a new one on the interest free thingy ( hate doing that but hey might as well use their money atm when I need it now sort of thing) I got a new 8 kg fisher and pykel aquasmart. Holy cow I am sure if it had arms it woudl load the clothes for you too Its brilliant. It remembers your settings for each wash and when I had my doona in there the other night ( king size so big load) it went a little off kilter so an alarm sounded and the screen saidHELP HELP please HELP my load is off balance *L* one small movement and it was fine It makes less noise than the kettle boiling *L* sad I am so excited abotu a washing mahcine but it has made life so much easier with all the extra washing

prama I am hopless with the heat my adrenal gland is sort of shot and I sweat really badly at odd times but come summer it horrid pLus being the heffer I am I dont wear slinky outfits or shorts or anything so rugging up behind trackies and a cardy to hide the sins suits me *L*
We havent had much cold here at all to be honest but then again I suppose we moan when it does get cold the wind is howling and its freezing and I have my heat bag and acup of ovaltine *L*

shell and bj got to say having AF again after a year was a pita,as if I wasnt moody enough before form tiredness etc now the pms again.. I stopped taking the mini pill I was given as it gave me serious headaches so playing abit of russian roulette with just condoms(sorry tmi) It was just much easier not having AF to worry about hope

HUbby bit the bullet and applied for another job today he never ever takes sick leave and he took days this week as he is so stressed and run down and sick of his job I was really shocked and then he applied for this so I knwo its time to move on I really want for him to be in a job where peopel realy dont take advantage

Mine is a 3 1/2 kilo 2nd hand one.
It's ok. No probs with it except that it's small.
Our laundry tub is one of those old concrete ones. It's all blocked up atm. When not completely blocked - which it is all the time - The water goes down so slow it fills up & runs on the floor. It's been doing this for 3 or 4 weeks now. I'm over it. I'll get in there & fix it tomorrow I guess.

The journal I gotta keep til my next appointment in 2 weeks I hope. Gotta write everytime she plays up. What's happening at the time, what she does & says & how we react.
She chased Bri through the house with a screw driver today! Scared me! & tipped her off a bean bag onto the hard lino floor. Coz Bri sat on the wrong one. It's never ending.
Gonna put in times she goes to sleep & wakes up & nights she has nightmares & all that stuff too. Pretty much EVERYTHING.
The psyc is gonna organise some assesments for learning developemental delays - Coz she had hearing problems from 3 til grommits put in last Nov, ADD, ODD, & I gotta get a full check up from a pead. Bloods & all. Iron levels.
The learning developemental delay got me. She was so advanced as a kid. Smiling 3 weeks, sitting 5 months, crawling 8 months, walking 11 months. Not unbelievably ahead with that sort of stuff, but...

... She was counting to 10 before she turned 2. Saying I love you & I miss you at 13 - 14 months. Knew most colours before 2. She's a very smart kid.
I do know the hearing problems have affected her though. She's just changed schools too. There were 12 kids in the whole school before. There are about 20 in her class now. I don't think that's helping. It's not getting noticed I think?
Oh & we are having a video conference with the head of Psycology at I think Westmead Hospital. Or Far West? One of those.
So yeah. Heaps happening.

Glad to hear DJ is putting good weight on now. You should be proud of yourself.

Anyways. I think I've written enough. It's very late & I'll probably be up for brekky by 7 or 8, so I better get to bed!!

thanks skye! not sure when poopy will attempt his rolling again, it was milestone, hehe. now i realise he's growing up fast. he is already 17weeks.
jaz sounds like such a smart kid, she's developed so much, is she having delays inother things? could it be she needs other sorts of stimulation cos she's learning so much? sorry, not meaning to ask too many questions.

anyway, i think we're almost all packed. poopy is sleeping and my boobs hurt. he was tired early last night but now is fighting sleep and screaming. he went to bed 10ish. i put him on the boob for the last feed and he had a couple of minutes and then was dead to the world. i hope he sleeps a bit on the plane. im nervous about take off and landing. have to have him close to the boob, and stick him on as soon as we start to take off.

if i dont get online later, take care girls. lol.. i'll still be online tomorrow but feels like im going away and not being able to be in touch.

At our first visit the psyc actually told me that Jaz was feeling like she's not part of the family any more. Like she's been pushed out as the other two came along. I didn't wanna go back after that coz I don't agree, but I did & he hasn't said anything about that since.
But I went back, & I'm glad I did. The reason he thinks she might have a learning delay is coz I don't think she really understands whats going on around her in class. He asked me if she understands when I ask her to do something. It was then that I realised that she does, but coz I'm her mum I talk to her different to how anyone else would.
I have noticed that when I'm around & other people say things to her, I do simplify it for her. She had another hearing test done earlier this year & was told how to play the game thing they have there to do it. She looked abit lost, so I said it the way I would talk to her & she got it & did it exactly right.
He thinks this might be going on at school & coz she's at a new school she doesn't wanna ask the teacher what she's supposed to do again, in case the other kids think she's stupid. Fair enough I reckon. I can definetely see that & like I said before, coz there are 20 kids in the class, it's just not being seen.
So yeah...

Her teacher actually called me up to the school a few months ago to let me know that she was a bit behind & having problems. She said to me that she could be an 'average' student! 'Average?' I told her that I actually thought she could do alot better that that, she just needs help. Told the psyc she said that & wasn't real pleased. 'Average what?' he said. 'Average genius?' He believes no child is stupid. Every child is smart they just need someone to help them along the way. Which doesn't happen often at schools. Once a problem child always a problem child. IYKWIM.
So yeah. I don't really know about her needing to be more stimulated or what ever. Will know eventually I guess. Right now I really don't have the time or energy to try to do anything to find out by myself.

Still not getting much sleep. Jesse went to bed around 9pm. Woke at 10.45, 1am, 2.30am, 4am, 5.30am & didn't really go back to sleep after that. I got more formula yesterday, so I'll try giving him a bottle before bed & see if that helps.
Had to throw out 3/4 of a tin of formula yesterday! You aren't supposed to use it one month after opening it. I think I bought & opened that one when he was 5 or 6 weeks old. What a waste!

Anyways, hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far. Maybe someone was lucky enough to get a sleep in. Definetely not me!

I had a terrible night! I was feeling unwell so took a couple of panadol & a hayfever tablet and went to bed early. 2.5hours later Jazz woke up. I went in and put a dummy in her mouth. an hour later she woke up again so I fed her. An hour after feeding she woke again, put the dummy in, then she woke 3 hours later so I fed her, half an hour after putting her to bed she woke again. Dummy in, then she woke another 45mins later and I just laid there waiting for her to settle herself. Things went quiet for about an hour, then she woke again and I just laid there hoping she'd stop but she didn't so I had to get up...

There she goes again! I'm meant to be going out to my cousin's birthday tonight which is about 45mins drive away. I'm not sure if I'll get there, I'm heaps tired. Feeling a bit better though.

I was going to have a real coffee this morning but when I went to froth the milk there was no pressure in the machine...I was so out of it that I forgot to add water.

I had a nap this afternoon for a couple of hours. I turned off the baby monitor and told Matt that he's on baby duty. She slept but now she's up and he's feeding her. Think I'll go make dinner.

It's wierd huh. It's so big, then it's just gone. When you've just had them & it's like jelly. It just hangs there. EEEW! I'm glad it doesn't stay like that for long! I wish getting rid of the flab that does hang around was a bit easier though. Being my 3rd I know it's meant to be there, but it just feels so wrong!

I missed so much!!!! Took me so long to read up.... Usually quiet on the w.end...

Work was pretty good went quick, i'll only be doing around 20 hours per fortnight so nothing too major for now.

DH has taken the girls to the movies to see speed racer, was quite funny we were walking back from soccer at 8am (in the rain and freezing cold) and DH was making it sound like he was doing me a favour taking the girls out of my hair for a while when it's him that wants to see the movie hehe. So summy has been asleep most of the time. She had singlet long sleeve legless suit, bondsuit and sleeping bag on last night and when i went to bed i checked her little hands and they were freezing, it was her first night unwrapped so hands weren't used to being free.

Nothing too exciting to report here very cold here windy and rainy so feeling sleepy.

Hello Girls!!

skye - i didnt fly till iwas 24, i was always goign to the airport and sending ppl off to wonderful destinations and being jealous. now, im sick of airports and flying!

trina - sounds cold! it was yesterday in syd but it's sooo hot here now/.

Boy it's hot and humid! Thank god we've got a/c in the bedroom. Lakshman was good on the flight, he slept a bit, he cried a little when fighting off his sleep but thats normal for him now.
it was a bit tricky havign him and gettign bottles done and all but the crew were fantastic and dH was helping making formula and all. (I'm still comp feeding) i gave him the boob take off and landing and he was ok and didnt cry. he got pretty restless and hungry the last hour (8hrs but because of delay it was 9hrs) and i was trying to hold off the feed until they started to descend. but he was coming off the boob while landing and i had to keep putting him back.
M'sia is 2 hrs behind Syd, and same time zone as WA. We landed an hr late at 9.30, and by the time we got off and got our luggage and got home it was 11pm which was 1am Syd time. and we went to bed an hr half later. so it threw his routine out the widnow.. he wanted to play and not sleep. he kept waking up every 2-3hrs and had a feed. so i havnt slept much. we're going to get a portacot for him today. he slept in the bed with us adn i was worried about his wrap comign off and covering him etc. so i ddint sleep well.

anyway, that's the update. we'er trying to aclimatise to the weatehr. poopy is in a singlet with little holes for very hot weather nappy and his cheeks are all red so he's feeling the heat too.



it's noon, im hot and gettign sleepy. going to give him afeed and have some lunch and maybe a nap.

Hi girls,

Had a good weekend so far and spending lots of time with hubby and DJ :) Friday night - Doni's parents didn't stay long which was good so we ended up just snuggling on lounge and he bought me a silver bracelet with opal dolphin and got DJ some little ugh boots kehehe so cute :) And the best bit is he doesn't have to go away next week phewwwww

Prama - I was thinking of you today and yesterday wondering how Poopy went on his flight :) that is great he was so settled and the flight attendants were great with bottles and Steve helped out with formula :) Yipeeee Sounds like it is very hot and humid - it is soooooo cold and windy in Sydney. Was your mum surprised to see you arrived earlier than she thought you were coming? How was the family lunch today? And by the way congrats on Poopy's first roll, that is sooooo exciting!!!!
