wow sj that's a really really really good deal!!!
and teh crew on MH are fantastic w babies. we were so well taken care of. hope you got ur bassinet seat booked.
when do you fly? we were lucky cos i didnt have anyone next to me on the flight. they give you the row near the wall next to the toilet and galley. so they can hang the bassinet on the wall. and if there's someone next to you, they usually ask them if they minded moving elsewhere, so you have more space.

trina, skye - yes, hope you are doing ok.
shell havent heard fr u in ages.. are you partying non-stop :P

Yep ooked the bassinet and an infant meal i had to giggle at that....
Was told taht the baggage allowance for mj is 20kg too - woo hoo that means i cant take all the stuff i want too...
planning on taking nappies, but using sposies for the flight... dont fancy 24hrs of nappies in my bag!!!
    Did you fly Malaysian Airlines???
Glad that you said that, i have never flown with them, i usually fly singapore.

we leave on 23rd April - its nly 10 weeks away - really given me the motivation to loose the last of the baby fat!!! i am catching up with so many friends i want to look great (isnt that shallow!)

hope all is well with shell, bron and lily too

yes, we flew malaysia airlines.. they were so good. they served me first before the other passengers and helped with lakshman. they gave us some sposies and heinz baby food and some toys.
the baggage allowance is great. i took cloth to m'sia as well. and you dont have to worry about carry liquids on the plane as they are lenient when you hv a baby. you can take her water, drinks etc. it will be easier that'll she'll be 1 already. i had to take a thermos with cool boiled water for him to drink.
but the last trip i found it hard as he was so wriggly.. mj will probaby want to crawl around a bit. i got some toys and books for him, but he was most interested in teh paper cup from the loo.

yup, im going to endeveour to lose 5kgs by aug! nothing shallow abt wanting to lose weight, hun!!
    im so excited for you!

oh, i know in m'sia the airport allows special check-in for parents w babies and children, you dont have to queue up. sydney airport doesnt. not sure about melb.
how long is your transit in m'sia? the aiport is big and nice..

All is ok here. Bit busy with getting things organised to get back to school.

Lol prama, you will have to change his name to 'fang'

Mum has a cheap stroller that we are thinking about taking for the airports, but i am really thinking about taking my P&T as i will go up to London on my own for a few days to visit friends and i think that it would be easier with that as i can store stuff underneath, so i dont have to lug everything in bags kwim... apparently you can get a lent one for the time until you pick up the checked in one for the airports... still not decided yet - maybe we will take both

MJ saw her first fireworks display last night - she loved it

yes, the airport can lend you one but they only have a few. when we were flying out, ppl had taken them so we didnt get one. i suppose you have to be there really early. but then this was syd airport.

lol fang!! that'd be right, he's starting want to bite already, just like me when i was a bub.

yaay, fireworks. we are going out for the celebrations tomorrow. will be nice, sheep shearing, wood chopping comp, and food!!

    HappyAustraliaDay

Hope you all have a fantastic day, looks like the weather here will be great and this mmorning we are going to do some work on the house then drop DSS home then head off for a BBQ.

Trina - enjoy your kid free weekend, its hard i know, DH suffers terribly sometimes when DSS is not around, next week will be hard as he has been with us for the last 10 days its not easy, i dont think that you ever get use to it, but i think that you learn to cope with it better...
Only 7 more years of it here!!!

Prama does Malaysian have the individual TV thingy's or one big screen - if its one big screen i think that it will annoy MJ and she wont sleep - they are directly below it right?

MJ cut her second tooth today... so thats Christmas day for #1 and Australia Day for #2... he he he she has the top right and bottom left, my lopsided girl

Anyway have a good one girls
