Danni, Cats are strange things aren't they? Our cat really doesnt like being patted at all and we were worried about her and MJ... MJ loves her and crawls over to where she is always, (it was actually the cat that made her crawl forwards) the cat wil tolerate MJ pulling at her and sit there purring, if it was one of us, she would have lashed out.... i dont trust her that much so do leave them alone together as she is quite unpredicatable (not like your cats that love attention) but it is nice all the same.
Yay on the crawling backwards!!! honestly i wish thats all MJ was still doing, its so much more hard work going around after them and the cleaning.... ahhhh, she finds every bit of dog hair and outs it in her mouth :doh:

Hi girls,
Well I am back from Melbourne and had such a wonderful time. We went out with our friends and went to the housewarming. Two very big nights and very little sleep but it was so nice to sleep during the day with a hangover and without a baby crying hahaha But it was sooooooo good to come home and see DJ with open arms and a big smile on his face as soon as he saw me. He is also crawling a little bit more forward now, did 4 steps forward on Friday and mum said he has been doing a bit more each day so hopefully the parts for the other gate arrive this week so we can finish baby proofing the lounge room area. Mum got his santa photo done today and it is soooooo cute I will scan it over the next few nights and upload it even have a wallet one for my purse :) Sooooo cute. It was so sweet of my mum to do it for us. She loved having him over the weekend, said it was exhausting but loved it. We got her a coffee table book called "Grandmas Gone Wild" haha just as a joke but she loved it. Also got her some scottish tablet, so she was loving it :) Oh and he is now eating alot more solids and opening his mouth which he wasn't doing before. I am so relieved.
Anyway girls I am off to bed, I will respond with personals tomorrow :)

I've been stuck at home yesterday and today with a middle ear infection. The doctor said it's strange for adults to get them but that he's had about 5 adults in the past month with them which is a lot.
He said Jazz should hopefully not get one. She might get the cold I have, but it might not develop into an ear infection. He said that the prime age for them is between the ages of 8 months and 8 years. She's just on the border of that.
She's "talking" heaps more now, and blowing raspberries all the time.
We are waiting for the landlord to come and fix our roof. On Sunday some tiles fell off and there is a small hole in the roof. We rang the emergency number for the property manager on Sunday, then again on Monday to find out what was happening, he said he'd contacted the landlord and they would be coming over some time...but they didn't. We rang the property manager again this morning and he was appauled that they didn't come yesterday. So we rang the landlord direct at their house. No answer, left a message with all of our contact numbers. Will try ringing at lunch time if we haven't heard from them. I'm getting worried coz it looks like rain is coming.

Well I suppose it's about time I updated everyone on Jake and I :) LOL it's been a few months!!
Ok, I started back at work a month or so ago, I work on my hubby's days off (he works a 4 on 4 off shift roster) and he looks after Jake for me while I am at work. This is the best thing I have EVER done for our relationship as he now understands how hard it is to look after a baby all the time, being away from Jake has made me apreciate him more and as a whole our family is much stronger because of it.
Jake is "crawling" more of a caterpillar style but he goes around th whole house like that :) he also is starting to "crawl" but has only gone a little ways so far, he prefers the caterpillar method though he does spend a great deal of time on his hands and knees :)
He's having 4 meals a day of solids plus milk, but still isn't an overly fat baby, just very long :) he's still waaaay down the ladder in the weight ranges but there is not much I can do about that but keep shoveling the food in :)
Anyway no rest for the wicked, we bought a house so it's time for me to get back to packing for the big move!!

my shoulder and neck still hurts, my osteo said it's cos my back is realigning itself.
poopy crawled fora bit on all 4s today! and he's also starting to cruise with one hand.
oh and today at mil's he wrapped his leg around the playpen bars and looked like he was pole dancing. hahhahaah
andthen he let go both his hands and stood unsupported for a couple of seconds before he fell on his bum!
going to bed.. my back is getting me down.

Hi Skye, what do you mean by a chrissy card swap? Do you mean that we'll all get each other's addresses and send each other cards?
I'm back at work today and hopefully I'll last the whole day. I've got pain killers with me and a box of tissues. My ear is still blocked and sometimes hurts. Balance is still not too good.
Someone came out at about 6:30 last night to put plastic over the hole in the roof and it's meant to be getting fixed today. Not sure if they'll need to replace the whole roof or not. One thing is for sure, I'm glad that we aren't the ones paying for it! That is one advantage of renting I guess, no maintenance costs, just the inconvienence if maintenances isn't done. What ended up happening was at about 4pm the repair man arrived and saw the loose tile above our carport and fixed that then left. The landlord rang to see how everything was going, then she rang the insurance company, then rang me back and said told me about the repair man coming earlier. She had a go at the insurance company and said that wasn't it at all! She'd seen the photos we took so knew what needed to be done. The guy came back later in the evening and this time knocked on the door so we could show him the real problem!
Jazz has been good, happy and a little chatterbox!

Sorry no time for personals - our little Possum has Laryngitis - not fun - we're all a bit sleep deprived at the moment. So awful to hear her without a voice - just a funny little noise. Must hurt like anything. First time we have ever used Nurofen. Seems to work well.
Hope you're all well and I look forward to reading all of the posts I've missed soon. Time for a frozen meal and bed. I normally love to cook but cannot even comprehend standing over a stove at the moment. So tired!!!

Hi all, don't have time to read over all the posts will try later.
Codie is sick at the moment, all CF complications, she has pancreatitis and has a common CF bug growing in her lungs and to top it off just got the flu poor little chick has been off school all week.
Summy has a severe case of nappy rash, i think its from teething cos she has all 4 top teeth now and got them fairly fast and she poo'ed heaps with them which made her bum sore. The skin is broken and bleeding its that bad poor little bubba.
I might be moving before Christmas.... Ex wants to sell the house. He just told me that he will be away every thursday and weekend from now until Feb so every time i go to work he won't be able to help me and no free weekends to do anything.

Trina sorry to hear about the ex. I would make sure that he realises that with him being away w/ends etc then he may have to fork out for ccare (you could organise a nanny or au pair for part time care). Does he live close enough to have them during the week so that you get a break?

We've slipped half way down the second page! Can't let that happen. Had a great day at Whiteman Park yesterday with mg. It was so funny, all the bubs stayed on the mat even the one that could crawl properly.
Paddy actually crawled forward today. Only one step though and then he collapses and reaches for what he wants. Lazy little bugger.
I'll try and post more pics in the gallery.

Hi There. Jazz is showing signs of crawling forwards although she hasn't actually done it yet. When she's sitting up, she'll lean over onto her hands and get one leg back and she has such determination that she wants to crawl but isn't quite sure.
Last night she was being babysat by some friends while we went to my work Christmas Dinner. The husband was holding her on the ground in a standing position, just barely supporting her bum and nothing else and she took 2 steps practically unaided! Now I'm wondering if she'll start walking before she crawls forwards...it's not unheard of.

I think that you should get to keep the house... i bet if you went through with a divorce he wouldnt get half (i am assuming that he wants this.) maybe something to look into, not only is he required to pay c/s but there would be maintenance as well... sorry you probably dont need financial advice, but i would hate to see you loose out. He needs to realise that walking away is not so clear cut when their are children involved Especially when it limits your capacity to earn... :hug: sorry hun

Teach - MJ did that for ages, the one step, grab what she wanted and then be content to stay where she was, TBH sometimes i wish that she was be back there for a while... She is in to everything!!!
She loves the bath, we keep the bathroom door closed, but if it is open, she is off crawling at the speed of light (well a bit slower than that, but you get my meaning lol) towards it and stands at the bath banging on it with a massive smile, she loves watching us shower too...
She doesnt do heaps of crawling anymore, she crawls to something that she can stand up against and will stand for ages, she loves standing at the fridge, at the mirror, on the coffee table and against chairs!!! She cruises around the table now too... im so not ready for her to walk, crawling is hard enough

Danni, bugger about the house, is the roof fixed? Hope your ear is better... for some pain relief, try a wheat bag or hot water bottle against the side of your head, its also good for drainage too
Prama - hows the sleeping going? hope your back is better now... MJ has a cold again so the sleeping has gone out the window again, she sleeps only on me at night now, I wonldnt normally mid, but i have done something to my knee and i am finding walking difficlt and moving/rolling in bed is hard too, een harder when you have a baby that wants to either sleep on top of you or on your pillow... hope she is better soon...
Still no sign of teeth, i think that she is going to be the toothless wonder!!!

Thx SJ he is paying the mortgage and that is all he has to pay apparently so i have to live off what i get from centrelink not doing so well financially can barely pay any bills, luckily he is helping out a bit there but still...... i have a few options for some extra cash so going to start that in the next few weeks
i had a massive scare earlier, summer and paige were in codies room and i heard an almighty crash and heard them both screaming so i ran to the door but something was blocking it so i couldn't get in..... The big heavy mirror behind the door fell down hit the back of the chair that paige was sitting in and then fell on top of summer there was smashed glass everywhere they are lucky they both didn't die summer only had one scratch god it could have been the worst day of my life how lucky am i???? maybe i need a lottery ticket.
i had my hair done last night and GOD it is soooooo blonde i didn't realise until this morning cos it was wet last night. i wasn't expecting it so blonde.

OMG! What a scare. I'm glad they are all ok! I think you should lay down and have a strong drink to calm yourself now!
I caught up with my oldest friend today. We've known eachother since we were 9 years old but lost touch after highschool. This was the first time we'd seen eachother in 8 years and it was as if no time had passed at all! We're gonna make sure we keep in regular contact from now on! She's due to have her 2nd bub in 2 weeks.
Jazzy is still the same as yesterday, wanting to get on the move, talking, into everything!
Roof still has a hole in it with plastic covering it. Someone from the landlords insurance company is coming on Tuesday to assess it, then hopefully it'll get repaired before next weekend!

Hey sj I am here just laying a bit low. Meds starting to take toll right when WIll is at his absolute buisiest also standing at everything bumping his head on everythign and crawiling so quick its not funny he is exhasuting. He has also found his voice and has learnt to squeel when he laughs..needsless to say the head is loving that.
We are all over tired here so cranky with each other and snappy which hasnt been fun. I only have one more week to go with meds but seems the count hasnt done much at all. AM hoping that I wont have to have a higher does all over again . They will push for apic line if this is the case or another port and I just cant handle the thought of all that.
Sorry no more personals am shattered and supposed to go ut for our work xmas party tonight..so not int he mood for party but have already paid. Thank god fo rmum she kows I am not coping too well atm and has stepped in a lot.
Have posted the pics I took for our xmas card this year..am hoping for sanat pic but thre is not one to be found in this town at.
Anyway hop eyou girls are well I promise to catch up everybody soon
