My goodness... so much chatting!!
Caro, I hope you feel better soon. There's nothing worse than feeling sick and crappy!! Why are people saying your home looks cluttered?? I know they do say to declutter when you're selling so that people can imagine their own things there but.... they do NOT say to stop living in your house!!! Nutcases!!
Karina, I'm thinking that the amount I talk about bumbos and the good rap I give them...they should start to pay me a commission!! lol. Truly though they're great ;) I HATE crying myself to sleep too so I hear ya!! You do what you feel is right and let DH "think" you're doing what he thinks...lol.
Jo... 11 is amazing!!
Sarah, great to hear no more vomit from Xander and that Ari slept better!! HIGH FIVE on passing!! Woohoooooooooo :D
Well today we went on a big adventure...lol. We drove an hour across the other side of town to the guy who invented the Amby Hammock cos I wanted to get the Jump Jump (similar thing to the Jolly Jumper) for Oskar. Oskar was good and slept on the way there, then we went to the shopping centre near it so I could get some lunch and feed him. Then on the way home I thought... hmmmm I will drop into my old workplace and see the girls cos they haven't seen Oskar since he was only about 4 weeks old. Well, that was the MOST STUPID idea I had today!! lol. He was asleep but woke when I took him out of the car so he got cuddles from the girls and all.... put him back in the car and NO mum, I'm not going to go back to sleep I'm going to SCREAM as loud as I can. I'm almost in tears cos I'm on the highway and the traffic was bad so I get off at a servo and feed him. He's ok for about 5 mins then he's SCREAMING again... now I mean the blood curdling screaming which is making him cough every now and then. So I think ok... let's get to the next exit and we'll go to my friends house and feed him again and try to settle him and go home a bit later. Well, when I'm getting to the exit he's settled down and chatting to himself so I think... I'll just go home. About 10 mins later out of nowhere he just lets out an almighty scream *sighs*... I don't know why but he then cried for the next 10 mins ... I decided to just drive to the shops near home and go and grab some potatoes etc for tonight instead of coming home straight away so I could get him out of the car and cuddle him. Poor little possum... I hated it so much cos he doesn't usually scream like that but he was full on letting it rip and I wanted to stop in the middle of the highway!! He's all good now. Had a feed when we got home and he's had a nap and just woke up now (on my lap now...hehe). Anyway, going to try out the jump jump now while I chop potatoes for dinner.

Karina - the bumbo's are well worth it!
I too have just bought the tray to go on top! waiting for its arrival! hey Cass/Caro can you let me know how long ur's took? plz!
Cass - Ohhh, that must of been horrible! I hate those screams! Glad he all better, howd the jump jump go?
i followed your idea's, and did some finger painting with izzy, me and a friend did it with her 2yo as well! had a blast, and izzy seem to enjoy me painting her feet :) we did a canvas of just izzy prints, one of hayly prints and one of all four of us together~! lovely keep sakes... I've got a picture of the one i did for izzy in my photobucket, if u'd ike to have a look...
Karina - i agree... I'd much rather cuddle izzy untill she is nice and settled then put her to bed, I don't like leaving her to cry at all, and most of the time all she needs to know is that i'm still around and she'll get a cuddle and settle anyway... You 2 are allowed a difference of opinion, you'll proberly find that sometimes he's right other times you are...
I have EVERYONE (even the childless people) telling me i'm "making a rod for my own back, she's going to be no good for you to leave. blablabla" I just tell em to 'stick it' these days, she's my daughter i'll do it how i please...
Me and Tim have some 'discussions' about this the other day, he dosn't like Dummies... So he had izzy and she started crying, the first thing he did was ask for the dummy, i'm like no, you don't like them settle her with out it (she wasn't screaming, just a grizzel) and he couldn't, so within 2-3mins of trying he handed her back to me, where she settled (without the dummy)... Why is it, that i keep getting told how much im smothering her by not letting her scream - when as soon as she just grizzels someone else is picking her up, then she gets more cranky and i get givin her... bla i'm just rambleing now, moving on heheh...
Today my dad brought me over the photo albums he brought for us... THey are relaly gorgeous! I've got 2 really nice ones know, So i'm doing one of just me and izzy together, for the next 18 years (this one is going to be a l o n g working project) and give it to izzy for her 18th... the 2nd ones is going to be of izzy and everyone else for the first 12months. . . plus i'm doing a scrap book poster thingy (the idea is still iup in my head lol) and we have 4month portraits next tuesday so thats going to be a lot of fun...
I feel very mummzy artzy crafty lately :)

Caro - I am taking the girls to the Fairies tomorrow as a surprise. Have fun on Thursday! And I hope you are feeling better soon.
Cass - Poor Oskar, I hate it when Nic screams in the car (which is every time he is in it!). I have tried stopping and getting him out, but he cries as soon as I put him back in. I bought a mirror for the car, but it didn't work! The only time he is ok in the car is when the girls are in there with him. Maybe he gets lonley without them? Did Oskar like the jump jump?
Cass - everyone has an opinion don't they? I hear you on the when she starts to cry, they give her back, or pick her up! My mum is the worst for that! When my sis was having trouble with their daughter, she was waking all the time and the only way to get her to sleep was rocking her at the time, my mum said, just rock her! After preaching for years about how my other sister made a 'rod for her own back" by doing this for her son! What the hell does that mean anyway - rod for your own back?? There is nothing more special than being the one who can comfort your own child, you are their mummy, it is your job. It never ends either, I fix everything with band aids here! The girls might have a headache, and a band aid can miraculously fix it!
I am going to Toys r Us on Thursday to get a Bumbo. I showed DH last night, and he said - "Oh, just get one!" I showed him all the pics of the babies in them, and he thought Nic would like it too. I do have a question though - if they are sitting up a lot, will this affect their learning to crawl? My CHN said they should be able to crawl before they can sit up, so if they are sitting up already with this very different view of the world, will they still want to crawl?Did that make any sense? Or am I just talking crap???
