It's taken all day but Jazz has finally settled and slept for the past hour straight for the first time all day. I'm hoping I'll be able to cook & eat dinner before she wakes. I ended up laying on the couch with her and we both fell asleep, then I woke up half an hour later, put her in her crib and I fell asleep again on the couch for another half hour or so. Feeling a bit better myself, but still exhausted and worn out. Gosh I hope she feels better, I really don't want to be up all night. I can't wait till she starts sleeping for more than 4 hours at night, I really want to stop feeling tired.

jade - yeah it is good to get a good break. Doni goes back to work on thurs so just me and dj think come night time i will be handing him over to doni for a break as well.
bron - thx for the tip he doesnt have any whiteness in mouth area so think just a case of nappy rash

shell if you keep getting thrush make sure you check your BSL's. It can be a sign of diabetes.

I've been out all day today, I hope paddy is going to sleep well tonight. Fat chance though coz he's been in and out of the car all day. Had to get my eyes checked at hosp. today - 2.5 hour wait for 5min visit :wall:. Of course Paddy slept until it was time for me to go in, perfect timing :doh:.

Teachmum - argh don't tell me that..... I have no strips left to check and was going to send back the machine as well..... I don't think it is the diabetes, the thrush has cleared up alot this morning :) I used to always get thrush when stressed or run down so I think it is just the cause, not diabetes. Did Paddy settle for you last night?
Didn't have a bad night but DJ is always so unsettled after his 4-5am feed, not sure why and we do everything to make him settled, poor darling.... It is so hard for them not being able to communicate what they need. I listened to the cues ie. eh eairh etc and did whatever he said ;) but still unsettled. He finally slept a bit grizzly still in daddy's arms :)
I gave him a breastfeed using my new pillow and it soooo much more comfortable. There is a website to check out info on it Segment Publishing : Design.Develop.Host. I haven't checked out the website but Babies Galore also called it a goldbug :) It was $80 and money well spent.
It is hubby's last day off work today, so hoping I can get him to mind DJ alot for me while I do stuff around the house, so need to get back on top of my washing. Still need to put away clean clothes of ours argh... The housework just piles up doesn't it?

Morning girls..washing!!! putting clothes away!!! haha *L* well mym mum helped me with some ironing last week but its all piled up again and today is the day. I am lockign the doors to visitors and not going out so I can catch up.ALso have thankyous to finish am up to 60 ahhhhh I am glad I got the photo things done so jsut printe don the back and is all in one.
It seems each time we go into town it ends uptaking us hours and I am sore when I get home NIck has to do the 1 oclock feed becasue I can hardly roll over in bed to get out. I am finding washing Wills stuff is taking so much time to but am getting used to it. SHeel am glad its not thrush for DJ and I empathise with you over the thrush fo ryourself becasue I too suffer regulalry. My sugar is fine atm its more to do with antibiotics but I live on that inner health plus stuff which helps a lot.
We are havin gthe local minister visit today as we are having Will christened on the 20th of APril. I didnt really want it so abut NIcks family are here fomr the UK so we wanted then to be included as we havent seen them for 3 years. Something else to organise and have to find Will something to wear.
Anybody else being askied constantly if they are having their boys circumsized?? I dont know where people get off asking this question I understand family but I had a stranger ask me yesterday and I was dumbfounded.
pram sorry to hear lakshman has excema its so hard to watch them when they are uncomefortable. I do hope he is feeding better for you and life isnt so stressfull. I have been giving Will gripe water and its made an amzing difference to his wind I hated seeing him in such distress. Got to say the pics of all your babies are gorgeous I have a look each day to see who has updated am such a sticky beak.
jade hope you enjoy the extra time with DH and some time to catch up on stuff it makes such adifference huh.

Thanks Bron he's pretty cute to boot and shell he actually slept quite well last night :clap:. Woke at 9.30pm (just as I finally got to bed!), 1am (quite windy went back to sleep 2.30) then 6am. That's quite long sleeps for him, usually he needs feeding 2.5-3hrs. Don't mind if he goes back to sleep straight away :p.
I'm having as 'easy' day today as well Bron. Re: circumsicion perhaps you could ask them to show you theres coz you haven't made your mind up yet :p. It's always people you know the least that ask the most personal questions. People often say, oh is this your mistake baby and quickly shut up when I reply no he was planned, we thought we'd see if we could get it right this time!;)

Anyone wants some more BBH's? They're on special at BBH website atm. Just bought a couple of bamboo ones to try and a new AIO.

Thanks for the tip Teach - just ordered some more through my local BBH lady, so have emailed her back to make sure that i get the same prices. I am not that impressed with the AIO's they dont last long at all and Molly Jane is wet when the nappy is used, where as the bamboo ones she stays dryer. Great for nappy bags thou!
MUMSY great to hear from you - i had troubles with the pic uploads too - my files were too big so they just wouldnt load. Maybe this is the problem.

Funeral went well, but Molly squalked and i went out of the service, felt bad that i left DH alone... he said afterwards that he would have prefered me to stay as he would have cuddled Molly and felt less sad :(
the wake was great (as far as these things can be) His old band played and it was really nice listening to the music... everyone was so suprised that we bought Molly (i cant believe you are out with a 4 week old - wtf??? are we ment to stay at home and hide from the world?) and how good she was. i think she was held by at least 40 people and i was having withdrawals, i missed her, but it was nice to have a dance. She loved the music, people were suprsed with that too, until i reminded them that we use to go and watch him play when i was pg and she possible would rememeber the music!
Had the worst night last night, DH had food poisoning (he broke his cardinal rule and ate food from a place that he was fixing the fridges - and chicken no less) Molly jane slepts so wel, but DH was up all night pooing and vomiting, poor thing it was awful... he felt so guity that i was up with him, but i hate being sick alone, so i sat with him and rubbed his back and got him his dressing gown and changed the buckets for him... we are both tired today, i managed to convince him to stay home, he was going to go to work, but has slept most of the day...
Something to think about, i havent been expressing as have no had the need, but DH being sick brought it home, that if he had a bug not food poisoning and i caught it i wouldnt be able to feed her. So i am drinking alkavite and going to start getting a reserve JIC.
off to drink more water to help with the supply!

I am having a terrible day with DJ he is just soooo unsettled, has had hardly any sleep and DH and I have been arguing because we are both overtired and need rest..... arghhhhhh I only managed to express 80ml when I can normally express alot more than that. I know it is because I am so stressed and haven't had any rest. DH is feeding DJ now so hopefully he will go to sleep so we can get some rest. I left another message with the community nurse to find out when they will come out and see me, he is 3 weeks old tomorrow and still no-one has come to see me. DJ has been feeding every 1.5-2 hours today and I am exhausted.
Thanks Teach re: BBH nappies, I am placing an order today. SJ - I agree with you on the aio's they aren't very absorbent at all, but good for the nappy bag indeed. Spoke to the demonstrator lady and she said it will take 2 weeks to get order doh!!! So, I am still washing them everyday until I get my order.
Bron - I also have inner health plus, just haven't had a chance to take any, so might do that now.
Better go girls, hoping I will have some rest....
