OMG i thought something happened to my subscription page and it was stil showing Sarah's msg yesterday.... haha... Thanks for popping back in Sarah. WOW at zanders height. i'm used to big and tall and big feet with jordan this small and tiny feet is all new to me.

well i have a video to post on FB but it wont work. Little miss is now using her lion walker to get around. she holds it and walks round on her knees. she's crawling normally almost all the time now and OMG cannot sit down. I posted pics on FB of her after she had climbed up the frame for the JJ. Cheecky girl.

I got in touch with the CHN and she helped out a little. She thinks i should go back to the last HA and try and combat the constipation with more fruits and veges and trying to get her to have more water. So we'll see how we go. She told me to offer more food then i have been cos little miss is still having 6 milks bottles at least.

Well best be off DP is on night shift so i wanna get the kids to bed early so i can clean up while i'm awake.

Its quiet in here. Hope everyone is ok... Bec where r u... I dont have you on FB, Hope Cam is going ok.

Deancy- Hows Liam??? Hows your course going??

LMK, Mecil, anyone else not popped in for a while??

    Hi All,

Going to try to make it a quick one, Cam's due to get up soon and DH is home.

Sarah - Welcome back to this thread. Glad to here Juliette is doing well and seems be growing well. Yay on her being so adventerous with food - makes it alot easier when you can just give them what we're eating hey. I haven't made up any foods specifically for Cam for many weeks (though I must admit I have used some of my premaid foods a couple of times and a few tins on lazy weekend nights), but otherwise trying to just give what we eat.

Jess - Sorry your having trouble with formula's...hope you can find one that suits soon...only a few more months until you can hopefully give normal milk (as long as you can find what the problem is of course). Also IKWYM about the snot trails and bubbles...thankfully our colds are pretty much gone now.

Abb - Yes you should be proud you made it this far with the BF...good on you. Wow it did sound like you had a busy weekend. And isn't it always the way that bubs behave perfectly going to bed on time when you've got a friend/family member who has come to visit....you kinda need to let them know in advance so they can get some cuddles in hey.

Sassy - Glad to hear Jayda's enjoying her food...especially yoghurts and custards...I've occassionally lost track of time during the day and find these perfect to give for Cam's lunch with a couple of pieces of fruit.

NaNa - Wow that post the other day was a good one...I'd actually gotten on to do a post, but by the time I read it I ran out of time ...now look what's happened, pretty much everyones posted since and I find it so hard to keep up. Sorry to here Aadi's gotten sick now too...most of the babies from my mothers group and even other friends bubs have gotten sick too - must be all the changes in the weather again. Sounds like you have a cheeky little boy...with the rolling and falling and laughing and all.

Girl - Good on you for extending your studies so you can spend time with your little girl. That's why I've decided to only go back to work part time though we probably can't really afford it - I just don't want to miss out on seeing Cameron grow up...afterall (for me anyway) this is one reason we decided to have children.

Well, really running out of time now...be quick Bec

Not much new here...only me pulling my hair out....DH's job is in trouble. Due to the financial problems the world is having as he drives trucks and delivers containers...well the orders have slowed down big time that they are having an extended break. We don't know when there will be more work coming so DH is having to look for a new job. ARGH!!! DH was a little complacent about it all though, so I had to remind him a couple of times that I'm not getting money anymore. He wanted to do a career change, which will probably include doing year 10 maths again, but we just can't afford it at the moment while we are bringing $0 money a week Think he's got the message now and hopefully will find a new job soon.

Anyhoo, Cam's just woken...I'll try to pop back later.

    Bye for now

bec: sorry to hear about DH's job. i think my DH is pretty lucky his wont be effected. mine is a bit up and down at the mo too i dont have as many kids caus ei had some go to skool this yr and no new ones have come in to take the place. it is a bit of a shock when ur used to getting a certain amount of money then it goes down to less the half.

Jess: hope the old formula works out for ya. maybe get some prune juice read for her too. 6 bottle wow that seems liek heaps to me but jayda has alway shad less the "normal" she is at 3 but is slowly starting to drop her morning one she doesnt seem too interested in it.

jayda has been a poo sleeping latly. she is not wanting basically any sleep during the day but by like 6 she is so tired. i was putting her to bed at 7 but she wakes up so many times so 1 night this week i kept her up to 8 (which has been her normal bed time) and she slept through. i had a meeting last ngiht and DH didnt wanna deal with ehr and keep her up till 8 so he put her to bed early. she slept till i got home at 10 then woke up on and off all night.
so my question is do u think i could tape her to her bed and make her sleep during the day lol just kidding but i wish i could lol.

awwww my little bubba boodles is 9months today.

we had a shocking night last night. she was at mums yesterday and had about 10mins sleep all day so yeah i paid for it last night.
mum keeps telling me i need to take her to a sleep school. she has about 2 half hr sleeps during the day but no one knows how to get her to sleep but me. well they dont persist thats the only prob. if she doesnt go to sleep in 5 to 10 min they give up.

i have my half yearly safety check today so i am not looking forward to that. i have full on kids and i can hardly keep my eyes open but ill have to put on the happy face while the office lady is here.

    Its been quiet in here.

Dont have alot to mention today, Hamish now has 5 teeth and one i can just see the white coming through so i hope that is it for awhile, although i should not complain he has not altered his sleep patterns atm. He is going down at around 7.30pm and sleeps until 7am. He then has a bottle and play, breakfast around 8 then back to bed for 1 to 1 1/2 hours then play and lunch around 12 back to bed around 1 fo 2 to 2 1/2 hours. It is working really well atm, fingers crossed it stays that way.

Jess - 6 bottles seems alot, hamish has 3 x 200ml but he would drink ateast 2 x sippy cups of water, its funny he loves water. At the beginning i warmed ot a little but now he has it cold, will even drink out of water bottle if i forget his sippy cup when out.

Bec - not good on the job for your dh, is there any other job prospectd for him? It seems to be happening everywhere atm, in my old job they have almost halved the office with staff retrenchments since i left, its so sad. Dp's company have already had one downsizing this year and 3 people in his department lost there jobs but hopefully that will be it for awhile. I hope your Dh will be ok or finds a job soon.

Sass - i hope jayda starts sleeping better for you soon and you dont need to tape her to bed..lol Hoefully it is just a stage, ds was a pain for awhile there, i even resorted to putting a cd payer in his room and he would fall asleep listening to music.

NaNa - how are things with Aadi? Have your visitors left yet?

LMK - how are things with you?

Deancey - i bet you are busy with nursing now, oh i remember the first semester well, how daunting it all was, expecially learning all the termonolgy (sp).

Girl - how is Jasmeena now? i hope she is over her runny nose.

    Morning ladies...

How quiet has it been... Well in here. I cracked 1500 posts few days ago helping out few people. Some special person decided i was worthy of a RAK. I noticed that NaNa, and Tracy both got one also. Abb did you upgrade??

I feel so special that some kind person has been so generous.

Still having formula issues. GRRR... but we'll get there. DD doesnt like water- never has. wont drink it hot warm or cold. I thought 6 milks was a bit too much but i dont want to cut her down if she isnt getting any other fluids (water) I'm thinking its cos she has been (she is a bit) sick. plus the dioreah (spl) is probably making her a bit dehydrated hence the extra thirst.

Off today to see the CHN finally. Had a wonderful lady at the chemist help and gave some great advice. gave me some samples to try before i buy yet another tin and it gets wasted.

Abb- We have same amount of teeth also. Still waiting for #6 to move down more. and i'm hope we get a break also. going through a tonne of bibs and clothes with the dribble.

Sass- YAY happy 9 months Jayda... Gosh its going to fast.. GL with your check up today.

Bac- sorry to hear bout DP's job... fingers crossed things work out.

my check went well so i am happy all that is over for another 6 months. did a little bit of a lie and i think she knew i was lying. one of the questions was r there any health issues. i havnt told them about the depression meds cause i am fit to work and i dont wan tthem to think i am not. she looked at me funny when i said no said r u sure no stress or anything....... should i of said something?

well i am gonna try to get jayda back into a routine over the weekend and i am gonna be strong and say no when people expect me to put jaydas sleep off because they want us to do soemthign for them right htere and then. i mena goign to see someone or doign somethign on their comp can wait or if not then we will come fix the comp and they can have jayda the ngiht and see if it is worth waiting a extra 20min next time lol.

Jess: the only thing that i was told about the formula is that it can take 2 weeks for a new formula to settle down if u swap. i know it is hard to stick through the poo issue if it is hard or runny but it can be worse to keep changing.

abb: wow yr routine sounds great wanna swap for even one day lol. latly mine has been. sleep at 8pm wake at random all ngiht for 10 to 15 mins each time about 10 times a night. wake anytime between 4 and 630am breaky at 7am bottle and try to sleep again at 930 (no sleep) morign tea lunch blah blah bottle and ment to be sleep at 2 (sometimes get 30mins at this sleep)

ahhhhhhh it is so damn muggy. i am sweating my bum off, well there is enough there to sweat off some maybe it is a good thing.

i just rang and booked in with a hypnotherapist for the weight loos see how that goes. i really wanted to get in soon but i coudlnt get in until 6th march which isnt too far away.

so glad it is thursday i am so sick of the kids and the heat. i gave them water to play in to kool htem down and now they have decided they will play in the dirt patch so u guessed it water plus red dirt equals

    hahahahahaha one of the convo's

Boy: u can be my girl friend
Girl: but i have a girl friend
boy; no u can be my real girlfriend when we grow up for ever.
    girl: no
boy: but i need a girl friend.

Jess - yes i did upgrade and no i will not tell you who i rak'd .lol
Congrats to all of you that got one, you all deserve it.

Sass - so far so good with routine, although somedays dont go smoothly, but when we are home thats usually the way it goes. I think its a personal choice to tell them about your depression, if it affects your job and they way you work then maybe you should have but certainly up to you. I have a friend who did the hypnotherapy for smoking and it work, would love to know if it works for weight as i would try anything atm.

oh, I'm still around. Not really lurking, just reading and never getting a moment to post because this boy of mine is a serious handful. No, two hands full! Sick and snotty, frustrated because he can't breathe properly, can't sleep for more than 20 minutes without waking up sliming everything and coughing. It's horrible. And he's just into everything!

Sassy - that conversation is hilarious!! Love it! Can't wait to hear some of the gems our kidlets will come out with real soon... I wouldn't have bothered mentioning the anti-depressant meds, unless they're affecting you. Really, half the population is on some sort of mood-altering medication (and the other half probably should be!) so don't stress it. So long as you're functioning and working effectively, is there a problem? Jayda's "schedule" sounds like ours at the moment too. It sucks. Admittedly, Aadi is having longer naps than Jayda, but he fights it so much. He's such a monster when he's tired though!

Abb - Our visitors move out this weekend! I am so relieved. They've been ok, but I'm tired of trying to be polite and not the narky, snappy biatch that I really feel like because I'm so tired all the time and they're always in the bathroom or kitchen when I need it. I got a phone call this morning from another feral friend of my mum's who's looking for somewhere to rent in Melbs too, and I just broke out in a cold sweat and nearly panicked! That's bad... but if you need somewhere to stay when you come for the meet-up in June, you're welcome!! We might still be here.

Jess - Can't wait to see our avs! How cool is that?? I'm totally blown away. Didn't expect it at all. Hope things settle down with the formula now, and you find one that's suitable. Good luck with getting Tianhna to drink water. I never thought Aadi would get the hang of it, or ever drink out of a bottle or cup, but he's managing a bit now with the Pigeon mag-mag cup and a Tommy Tippee narrow-neck bottle with handles. Took forever it seems!

Bec - gee, I hope your DH finds something else soon. Hardly the time for a career change, hey? It's so hard at the moment. My DP works in recruitment, and it's getting a bit grim. Half his company's been made redundant. Have you registered for the FTB? It's not much, but better than nothing at all. Sorry to overwhelm with my essay posts...

Sarah, hi! Nice to see you back again! Great that Juliette's doing so well and loving her food. It makes it much easier, doesn't it?

OK, be back more often now I hope!

    Morning Mummas.

Sass- I've given most formulas a good go usually a week but some, the ones that made her throw up i gave 2-3 times and no change so i stopped them. Were now on Karicare gold after trialing her on the sample sachets and so far no vomiting and no dioreah just hoping we can tick the no constipation box also. Been trying desperatley to give her water in between and plenty of fruit and veges so we'll see i guess. Love the convo. I picked DS up from preschool and i couldnt find him. He was under the desk where this little girl was sitting. He came out and i asked what he was doing and he said i'm rubbing sarah's feet. i said why and he says" you told daddy if he loved you he's rub your feet".... Awwweee... If only DP had of listen and i'd actually gotten a foot massage.
Glad your check up went well... I wouldnt have told them either. Not really their business.

Abb- Its ok i dont expect you to tell... I think i know who gave me mine. I think its great that its annonomus (even thou i'd LOVE to personally thank my giver) I think its more for the other people who didnt get a RAK. I'd hate for others to be like "well i thought i was friends with _ _ why didnt they pick me... etc" You've done a wonderfuly generous thing and you should feel proud that you have made some happy. Any thought to what your Avvy will look like>?? still have no idea what i want maybe a little devil kids behind me... LOl.

NaNa- Sorry to hear Aadi stil isnt well. Sounds like your having a rough time. Took DD bout a week or so to get over the snots. were just getting back to normal (well our normal) Ewwweee just had a vision of BF and the snots... Blerk wish i was closer and i could come give you a break. I hope once your giests leave and DS gets better thatthings settle for you. You've had a rough time.

LMK- Congrats on the tupperware. LOVE the stuff but its expensive from memory. Your so lucky Abbe has been a good teether. i didnt get too much issues with jordan compared to DD.

Well DD is up on everything. yesterday she was up standing against the lounge when she tried to reach out to me walking past and just fell cos her feet and legs are still a bit unsteady. I she hates laying down now and sits or stands on everthing. Hopefully we'll have no formula issues from now on also.

    well best be off.

Mis tree- just notice your avator it looks great.. woo hoo

LMK - Love tupperwear, a good friend of mine sells it so i have a fairly good suppky atm. She has no trouble selling it, i think as it is such a well known and good product people trust it.

    Hi All,

Only got a couple of mins..want to go watch Medium, so will be quick.

Feel like I've been rather busy over the last week. My best friends hen's night is tomorrow night- which I'm bridesmaid for, so I've been busy ducking out to collect things for this. Then today sat there getting it all ready. I'm so looking forward to it. It's up in Brisbane, so as my Mum is also going and she lives up that way I will be staying there for the night. This will be my first night away from Cameron and the first time DH will have to look after him ALL by himself. Then he can do it all again next weekend as I'm going out with Mum, cousin and couple of Aunts to that Busting Out show, but that ones local, so will be home to sleep. Just probably won't be very attentive, as plan on having a few drinks then too. I'm so looking forward to going out both weekends though.

Cam's been good. His cold is gone and he seems to be back to his happy self. Except for last night...woke about 9pm screaming. We couldn't work out what the problem was until we brought him out to the kitchen and I noticed his arm was all red. He must've slept on it and ended up with a dead arm, then probably pins and needles...as he cried for about 15mins. After we helped wave it around a little, he calmed down and went back to sleep til 5.20am, where I went in, lied him back down, put his musical seahorse on and he then woke at 7am.

Still only the 4 teet - 2 up top and 2 down bottom. Which is usually the next tooth to pop up?

He is enjoying his food again. Have been continuing to give him food that we eat. Last night sausages and vegies, tonight rissoles and vegies. I will have to get a cheap plastic table cloth I think to help with the mess he makes feeding himself, though we do have a very attentive vacuum cleaner...our dog! I always end up having to bath him when he's done.

In regards to DH and work...still no luck yet. His boss gave him a seperation letter to take to centrelink, so hopefully we may get something from there until he finds work or his employer needs him again. His employer did say there is some work possibly coming back again soon and that he'll call DH when it's here, but no idea when.

On top of that stress, AF arrived last weekend finally. It really is kinda bittersweet. It was nice not having to worry about it for the last 18months, but now it means we could TTC #2 - just the timing is probably not the best right now with DH out of work. Oh well, if it happens it happens. I figure if I was lucky enough to fall this month, then I would know by next month, in time to tell work whether I want to return full time or go parttime. If I was pregnant I'd go back to my full time job for 6months then I'd end up getting my full time maternity leave pay again. But I reakon my chances of falling naturally are pretty slim though, so won't stress about it all too much.

Well my show is on (had to come back in the first set of ads to finish this )

    Bye for now,

    Busy weekend, huh?
DS is still sick, not sleeping well at night at all. I'm so tired, it's getting ridiculous! A friend of mine is off to sleep school this week and her son sleeps 12 hours at night. I don't understand...
DS is also biting me still. He's very cuddly and affectionate, and always leaning in to give me kisses but then sometimes the demon takes over and he grabs hold of the hair at the back of my head and bites down on my chin or jaw. If I try and pull him away, my hair gets yanked and my face gets teeth marks. It's horrible and it has to stop!

Bec - funny how everything happens at once, hey? It's a weird thing when AF comes back, too. Aadi gets the dead arm thing sometimes too, it's so hard to comfort him when he's all numb and floppy! Next teeth will probably be the top two beside the front middle ones. I thought Aadi was getting them but they've done a disappearing act and now he just wont let me near his face because he knows I'm gonna wipe his snotty nose!!

hrmmmm I hear screaming. Better go investigate. Sorry, be back tomorrow maybe! Drat!

WOW Loving these avatars. Tracy and NaNa HOT stuff...

Cant wait for mine. I could use a lift. My damn computer crashed again and its the harddrive once again. this will be the 2nd replaced one since we brought the damn thing. 1st one was 8 months after and this one is 10 months since that one. GRRRR all my stuff lost again. Technology

Things seem to have sorted itself out. were now on normal karicare gold progess one. she seems to be ok. no throwing up which is great but better yet no dioreah or constipation(yet) trying hard to combat the constipation with lots of fruit and veges. she has also cut down her bottle since getting over her cold. so were on about 4 now. Is that about par with you all??? still wont drink water but the CHN i saw said bollocks about no juice she said i could try prune juice or the baby juice i brought (apricot, apple and carrot) would be fine cos its low in sugar and its kinda thick like blended carrots with the juice. it helps with constipation so i'm sticking with giving her small amounts of it

Bec- sorry to hear bout DH. Hope something comes up soon. Great that cams loving his food again. Must have been a faze cos Tiahna has gone food crazy again.

NaNa- Sorry to hear your still have problems. Also about your friend some people just dont realise how good they have it. i really hope for your sake that you can get things sorted out. That biting sounds horrible. I get the hair pulling DD is obcessed with mine and its always the 1st thing she goes for and she tries to eat it.

well have to go little miss is into everything been awake since 5 and its been a nitemare so far.

I am better now, DD isn't.

    Hi ladies,

Firstly, I received passed with a fairly good mark for someone who only studied 4 hours a day for 4 days and did exam revision the night before the exam . Secondly, DD is still sick. On Friday we went to our local GP, prescribed medication and nose spray. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday she has been vomiting and her poo colour yellow and green, diarrhoea. She doesn't like the medication and vomits that out too. She has never been given anything before. Damn childcare for making her sick! Still has a runny nose, but not as bad as before. She is off solids. Vomits that out too immediately. At the moment she is breastfeeding, which comes out, sleeps, and wet and dirty nappies. When she is awake she just cries. She wants to be cuddled and wants me close to her. I stopped giving her the medicine on Saturday night. GP last time said she had a sore throat, her left ear was red, and told me to come back if she didn't get better. So today I've made an appointment to see her again. We went to DD's 8 month meeting on Tuesday last week and she weighs 8.4 kgs which I am not too happy about. I would have liked her to be 9kgs. She hasn't gained much since she was 6-7 months.

Bec - Hopefully your husband will find something very soon.

Jess- Computer problems huh? My laptop of almost 2 years has crashed. I bought it for $1,800 HP Pavillon. It's cost $800 just to fix the problem (hardware issue). So I figured not to bother fixing it. I am so sad though because I did everything on the laptop and always preferred to use it instead of the PC. By the way, some people swear by Karicare Gold. DD doesn't like S26 although she is still breastfeed. I did try Karicare Gold when she was 3 months, still didn't like it. She is a cheecky little one, doesn't take anything but breastmilk and only loves her water.

Mis-tree- Your little man is walking on furniture

NaNa- Your friend is lucky. Kinda like me at the moment, DD sleeps well during the night and doesn't need to be feed, maybe once but she prefers not to but I always try. She is still sick.

Sassy- Do you daycare from home?

    I am off. Bye everyone.

    Hi ladies

Well abbie is a little food monster. If someone is eating she is THERE! She will scream and do her little tantrum thing to get what she want's. Cheeky little girl she is. She has her tantrum by leaning back and looking to the sky and grunting and sometimes she falls backwards and cries, its funny but amazing that she has started this already

So yesterday she was holdingonto the toy box and stood up all by herself Clever little munchkin

Jess i would not worry about people saying things about tihana trying to walk and being os active. Lachlan walked at 10months and our babies are not far off that are they. Each baby is different and you can't exactly tie them down can you. Don't stress i never did with lachlan, but i am glad that abbie is not going to walk as soon as lachlan did, only cause then i will have to run after her and lachlan where at te moment its only one i have to run after With the formula thing i glad that you have found one that she likes, although they will be off it soon YIPPEEEEEE it will save so much money

    Hi Girls

I have been reading past few days but just haven't posted in here, just haven't had the time and not sure i will get much now but will see how i go. I love everyone's new avatars, i just put my request in so i cant wait to see mine.

Girl - poor yasmeena i hope she gets better soon.

Nikki- Hamish also did that with food for awhile but now he isn't so bad, i had to keep reminding Dd and DP not to given as he has already eaten and had enough, he just never knows when he is full, the mchn said he should refuse food when had enough but not Hamish, he is a guts.lol (bit like his mum)

Mis Tree - Hamish is also walking around furniture and just yesterday he let go and was standing by himself not holding on to anything until i yelled out and got all excited he fell to the ground and started crying i think he got a fright and also didn't realise he wasn't hanging on. He hasn't done it since, might be a once off. I hope so, i dont want him to walk yet, Maddi was walking at 9 months and as Nikki mentioned it is hard work.

Jess - bugger on the computer, come have one of ours.lol Dp is an it technician by trade so atm we have 2 desktops and 3 laptops, and he is building a new desktop soon so hopefully we will sell some off. Glad you have sorted out the formula issues. Do you miss breast feeding? You know i didnt think i enjoyed it much but i do miss the closeness with Hamish.

NaNa - Gee it sounds like you are not having a good time with Aadi atm, well atleast whne your visitors leave you can focus on him and you more rather than them getting in your way all the time. Hopefully as he gets older things will settle down, ikwym about the hair pulling and biting it is driving me nuts too.

Bec - I hope your Dh can find some work soon. How was your night out?
