Laranna, congrats on the engagement!! i was so overwhelmed with wat to do and where to begin! but most important get the venue then everything else seems to fall into place! we went with alot of the recommendations from our venue as we thought they would know best!
we are having our wedding at the peel manor house, so a big mansion with 12 arcres of land, its beautiful..so we will have the wedding outside under that gazebo next to the lake and then the reception inside, its gorgeous..r u NOR or SOR? cos peel manor is just off the freeway in baldivis! cant wait im having so much fun planning it!

Jodi, hope Emily is better now? wow she has lots of teethipegs!!

Klee, will pm u..sorry to hear about ur FIL. hope his wife gives him a break! poor guy
wow that must have been a shock when u seen Joe in the toy car lol, its amazing what they can do!

i best get going, got alot to do today and half the day is almost gone!! im going through the kids clothes and toys and giving the ones they dont need away!

Blanche, the peel manor house sounds absolutely gorgeous! I'm NOR so Baldivis is a bit far for me. I've been searching for venues most of the day and am currently looking at the Bell Tower, Caversham House, Mulberry on Swan and a couple of wineries in the Swan Valley. I think we have to make a guest list and decide how many people we want. We want to have the wedding this year so hopefully we can find a free date too.

So what dates were all the bubbas born?

Joshua - 11th
Emily - 15th
Joseph - 15th

Joshua is on the 11th. I can't believe he's nearly one!! Where has the year gone?

Thanks Jodi and Jess :) We had a big party on Saturday with the family and mothers group mums and bubs. Joshua LOVED the attention he got especially when we all sang Happy Birthday to him. He got spoilt rotten with toys, books and clothes. He got a couple of those push along walker things which he thinks is the bees knees! So cute :) The pics are up on my FB.

jess - thanks for popping your head in, would be a good idea to join the threads, i sneak looks all the time at yours but you girls are sooooo chatty its hard to keep up.

jodi - what do you have planned for em? i can't beleive its a year already

we're just having a picnic during the day like we did for ph. then having my family and nephews round for dinner, just a fairly low key one. Jo's not walking yet, he's very content just to crawl, but i don't mind, he still keeps me on my toes, and makes me laugh like i've never laughed before, and boy i can handle that after so many tears.:lol: Just started weaning this week too, well he has helped he's decided he finally likes a bottle, I'm so glad I made it this far, lucky i had a booby boy lol.

miss chatting with you girls, i'll get on to fb in the next few days.

So good to hear from you Klee! The picnic sounds like a great idea. We're having a small party here on Saturday for Emmie. Nothing too big, just immediate friends and close friends.
Emily isn't walking either, she's waaaaay too lazy for that :lol:

Shhhh girls, don't mention anything on FB as we haven't told our family and friends yet!!! Only BB-land knows :)

Klee - Josh isn't walking yet, but almost, holds on to things and can stand up by himself. He has taken just 1 teeny step by himself last week but nothing since then. I don't think it will be too much longer.

hehe klee doesn't matter now, we couldn't resist and phone all our family last night so all our family knows and I also told the mums in my playgroup.

Just wanted to pop in and say that Joshua is finally walking! YAY :) It seemed like he would never walk but we were in the waiting room at the scanning place yesterday for my 12 week u/s and he was just fascinated by the water cooler and decided to walk the half a dozen or so steps to get to it. It was great because DF was with me so he got to see Josh walk for the first time too!

I seriously think Emily missed the memo about walking. She's just not interested. We try and help her walk, and she laughs at us, gets back down and crawls away :lol: She's going to take her sweet time doing this me thinks.

hi all, sorry I;ve been AWOL for sooooooooooooooo long.
just don't seem to have the time lately to get on here.

Super quick update from me... Macey is doing great. Not yet walking but getting closer every day. Walks her baby pram round the house all day long but hasn't yet mastered to balance on her own.

still also waiting on the arrival of more teeth. Bottom 2 came thru at 9 months and have only cut 2 top ones this week with the rest of her gums looking like they're ready to explode. Is cute though I admit to have a gummy smiley baby still- makes me feel like she's still my little one!
fab news for Laranna- new bubba for Joshua. Hope you've been well so far.

sorry again for no more personals. will try and get my butt into gear and read back thru some of the recent posts to find out where everyone is upto.

laranna - wow what a fantastic few hours you must have had, seeing josh walk and bub no. 2, sounds like the perfect day, well done josh. remember all those months ago you were worried about his progress and now look at him ;). huge congratulations on both josh walking and bub no. 2 growing nicely.
jodi - emily sounds too cute, probably can't see the fuss of walking she can do everything she needs to crawling, so why bother walking, is she still a climber?
beck - it has been a while, but i'm sure your kept busy by your two that it would be hard to get on here. macey sounds soo cute too pushing her pram around.

joe's still not walking, he's a little like emily in that we help him walk but he just gets back down and crawls, he is a climber though, i am always finding him in different spots, on the couch, on the table, he's worked out that if he pushes something next to things, he can get higher by using them as steps, he doesn't need to be walking, he gets up to enough mischief already lol.

sorry not much else here, we're now down to one b/f a day, still no a/f though, its mia, not sure whats going on

Some days i wish Jack wasnt walking! but has been since 9 months! he runs pretty much everywhere now! he has too, to keep up with his sis!

both my 2 are sick atm with colds, i get so worried when Jack gets a cold cos he was hospitalised that time at 8 weeks with Bronchiolitis, so i worry heaps! but he seems fine and i know what signs to look for !

anyways just a quick one from me as i best get to bed!

Hi to everyone else. Good to read that everyone's first birthdays went well. Amazing our little ones are growing so quickly.

YAY :clap:- just wanted to come in and say joe finally walked this weekend just past, its kind of funny cause he's been so sick with a chest infection and croup that I don't know where it came from, out of the blue. but he's finally managed it :clap:

Aw thanks Lulu, nice to see you pop back in. Hope you are well. Now that the m/s has disappeared it's become a bit easier. Just have to wait for this damn tiredness to go away. I've been having naps while Josh sleeps in the afternoon.

klee - YAY on Joe walking!!! Well done!! It's so exciting. I've had people tell me how it's all over now that he's on his feet, but I disagree, I think it's fantastic! I'll probably change my mind when this baby is born and I'm stuck on the couch breastfeeding while Josh is up to mischief! LOL
