Hi Everyone ....
Well i'm back from our blissfull week away .... gosh it goes so quickly ... we had a wonderfull holiday just lazing about, we shared a cabin with my sister, BIL & their 2yo boy. We went swimming EVERY DAY the weather was beautiful .... the boys fished (& caught a few), just an all round great time away.
Jesse is doing well ... his 4th tooth is cutting thru now ... he has been abit grizzly because of it ... he is better now from his cold - Very happy to not be wiping his nose anymore - he still has a little bit of a cough but he is much better.
There is sooooo much to catch up on so hope to get back in the swing of things in a few days or so .... have been busy getting my resume up to date....my work is trying to accomadate me with a part time position but they say there is nothing at the moment ... so will have to look elsewhere it seems ... which is ok cause i wanted something closer to home anyway.
hope you have all been well ......xx

Juliette - Thanks Juliette, Matthew will love his little Brother. On Tuesday they actually called another carer in so that made work a lot easier, we still went overtime but not by much compared to what we have been, they must have known they were pushing me up hill. Both Mark and my Dad told me just to walk out on time but I can`t do that when I`m in charge of 14 children and today they were so pleasant asking how I was and that they are worried about me - yeah right as if I`d believe that - perhaps it is their gulity conscience. OMG @ your work, I hope you get the new job. I know what you mean by feeling clucky the older Matthew gets the cluckier I become.
Belinda - As you can imagine you can`t wipe the grin off Mark`s face, he wanted 4 boys and now he`s got his wish, he now tells me IF we have another one it will be a girl. I would have been so upset if Mark had missed outon the u/s as you can imagine. Lets hope you have a pink one in there this time.
Kirsty - I`m going to miss you, hopefully we can catch up with each other on MSN sometime - only problem is I often forget to turn it on lately. Glad everything is going well with you and Hannah.
Hi Rails - Welcome back, that`s great you had a wonderful time away. Glad Jesse is much better now, WOW all his teeth are popping through at once.
Told work that we`re having another little boy - I got Oh you poor thing how many is that now? Four - then I got Are you going to try for a girl? I knew this would happen. All the Grandparents thought I was having a girl, MIL was getting excited last time I saw her, she wanted to buy dresses for the baby, hmmm somehow I don`t think I`ll be dressing a boy in pretty pink dresses LOL
Matthew`s well, he loves coming to work with Mummy and playing with different toys, I do have a problem with him he seems to think we live in USA as in the last 24 hours he`s started saying Mom :cryinglaugh: He`s trying to say some new words but I have no idea what they are :-k
-
Would be annoying that work is faking concern for you and i understand why you cant walk out and leave them all, but damn it would be tempting, sounds like they take advantage of everyone there!
LOL at the MIL and dresses, and yeah i am already preparing for the same comments, maybe i might just cry when they say it LOL, then they will rethink saying it too anyone else lol. What answer do they really want? Yeah it sucks i am so dissapointed and dont really want this one? Imagine if you said that to them, then you would be the worst in the world.
Thats life i guess :) Hope you are feeling well otherwise
LOL at Matthew saying Mom, its our televisions brainwashing them
Rails: Glad to hear you had a good week away, sounds like it was really nice, good luck with looking for a new job closer to home :)
Take care
-
Belinda - I`m sitting here wondering what your deleted post said :-k How are you feeling?
I`m well (thanks for asking) bubs was so hyperactive after the scan, he`s always active but he was just overactive, the OB did comment how much he was moving, it just got worse as the time went on.
Matthew had a good night, he was tired after our very long week of not being home much, he slept from 8.20pm till 7am.
Shannon - I hope Jessalyn is on the mend.
What would you girls do if DH had his heart set on a name for your baby but you weren`t that keen on it as a first name but would compromise and use it as a middle name? My problem is Mark wants to name bubs after his brother who died in a car accident 25 years ago, so I`m finding it really difficult to even bring it up that I`d perfer it as a middle name, I guess I`d get used to it as a first name, I just don`t know what to do, without hurting Mark`s feelings.
-
Dee: It was just asking you how to add msn link to forum but i worked it out so deleted post, nothing too exciting:)
I am feeling fine, gone back to no symptoms and i am starting to think its a another boy now, didnt have any feelings about it earlier on, so we will see.
Thats a really hard spot you are in with the name! I guess you would just have to say that you respect his wishes on honouring his brother and would be more than happy to honour him with a middle name, you shouldnt really have to get used to the name, but i know its a hard one.
Do you have a relative that has passed that has a name he wouldnt like? Maybe explain it that way that although you respected that person you would use it as a middle name
Hope you work it out before the due date anyways:)
Might have a little rebel on your hands if he is hyper already lol
Glad Matthew had a good sleep, Mason is pretty well much sleeping through now and just plays in his cot till her hears me most mornings, that i can handle:)
Shannon: Also thinking of you and hoping Jessalyn is on the recovery trail
-
Belinda - Glad your feeling fine. How many children are you planning on having?
Oh no don`t tell me I have a hyperactive baby on my hands - Matthew was also a very active bub in utero, he is so full on at times I just let him go then clean up the mess afterwards so looks like I might have a bomb of a house with two hyper children.
That`s great news that Mason is sleeping so well for you, I hope he keeps it up.
Matthew is such a funny sausage, I`ve just realised when ever I tell him he`s a clever boy he has to stop what he`s doing and clp hands - he`s so cute, this includes when he taking steps holding onto Mummy but he doesn`t realise yet if he lets go while standing to clap his hands he`ll fall.
Got a bill from my OB saying his $800 for planning and management of the pregnancy from 20 weeks to term has risen from $800 to $1200  I know he was extremely cheap at $800 and is still cheap at $1200 but we only have 4 days notice before we see him and we don`t have that amount of $ in our account atm - we haven`t been paid since end of November, things are looking a bit grim with drought etc and bills coming in that Mark`s wages are on hold until the farm gets more money in to pay his wages so at the moment we only have $400 sitting in our account so looks like I`m going to have to cancel my OB appointment next week.
I better go have a family coming in to look at the kittens at 11am and Matthew has just woken so I hope they don`t turn up just yet.
Take Care
Deeanne
-
That sucks that you may have to cancel your appointment, are you sure you cant make a payment plan with them? Sometimes if you ask they might do it.
Haha at Matthew clapping whenever he can, even with a fall :)
Mason waves but doesnt move his hand, so looks like a salute, he puts both hands up in the air when he doesnt understand you.
Well just enjoy the break while number 2 cant move in them early months:)
I probally will only have this one, did concider 4 but realistically i dont think its plausible, finacially and also we wont fit in my car!!
I have a hatchback and its going to be a nightmare with two little ones to put in and out, was bad enough with the capsule and Mason, not looking forward to that.
Hope you sort out something with the OB office
-
Belinda - I did suggest to Mark we probably could pay it off but he doesn`t like that idea, I know with Matthew they said we could pay it over 2 installments. I wonder how much we get back from Medicare, with the $800 with Matthew we got all but $120 back so that was good, hopefully it`s the same this time round too.
Ok Why can I smell incense burning????? I don`t even own any incense sticks.
My goodness a hatchback with be a nightmare with two little ones plus Luke. We will not all fit in our car when we have the boys (once bugalugs is here), so I have to stay home when we have them, oh well that`s the price we pay for having another child, we were wanting to buy possibly a Ford Territory but ATM we just can`t afford it unless my Dad or Mark`s Mum win Lotto!!!!!!
Matthew was such a great help here yesterday when I had a couple looking at the kittens, all he wanted to do was pull on Mummy`s skirt, it didn`t help that the skirt I had on was elastic waist so can easy be pulled down LOL. The people weren`t children friendly either, you certainly get to know the difference with the families as I have found ones who don`t like or have children will totally ignore Matthew but one`s who have or like children speak to him.
Hope your well.
Take Care
Deeanne
-
Well hopefully something financial changes real soon for you so you dont have to worry about it anymore :)
I was just sitting outside and thought i want fairy floss so bad, why do we crave things that arent easy to find, ggrrrr!
I wanted a RAV4 until my gf said how much they are worth, not getting one now! I want to sell my car and rebuy something at the same price but will have to shop around at whats out there in that price range!
Mason is taking about 9 steps at a time now, so wont be long for him i wouldnt think.
LOL at smelling incense that you dont have!
And yeah Mason does that with my skirts all the time, and most of mine end up getting pulled down, luckily its only been when noone is here.
And it is easy to spot the ppl who arent into kids, i dont let them get to me, there are plenty more out there who are nice to make up for them.
Mason was up from 8.30pm till midnight last night, any other time he just stirs but cause i had a friend over he didnt of course, ended up tossing him in bed with Bill and said i have had enough now!
Take care
-
Yay my Pixie Photos are in but there is something wrong with one, so they have to change the fronts which will take another 2 weeks to do, oh well I`ll get them eventually.
Yummy fairy floss, now I feel like some LOL
Sorry to hear you had a bad night with Mason. Yay for Mason taking 9 steps that`s great news.
Not sure what to have for tea, I feel like something nice but I don`t know what.
-
Its annoying when you dont know what you want
But thanks for mentioning it as you rememinded me to put the roast in the oven.
Ggggrr at having to wait longer for the pics
-
Deeanne, I just had a little look at the latest pics you've got up on Matthew's site. He's got such a cute smile! Kynan's got one of those bumpy balls too, but a blue one LOL.
-
Dont know if i mentioned this but i told my 17 yr old niece a couple of nights ago i was having another baby and she was so excited about it, well i just told my 15yr old nephew and he went so funny, and just kept talking. Was really strange, last time he was excited, guess he is a little put out with any extra competition maybe, ack who knows.
-
Thank you Angel - My Dad says that Matthew`s smile will win any women`s heart LOL. I think we must shop at the same place as Matthew also has the pool and balls that Kynan got for Christmas, Matthew also got it for Christmas and I`ve been asking Mark ever since to blow the pool up for me and I`m STILL waiting!!!!! Kynan has grown so much, he`s lovely.
Belinda - Teenagers!!!!!! Perhaps your nephew is at the age now where he thinks ewww I don`t want to know that you actually DTD!!!!!!!
Don`t think I told you girls we`re thinking of having a Doula for my VBAC, she`s coming around on Wednesday to meet us, she sounds nice via email so I hope she`s as nice in person.
BRB I can here a truck
-
Oh hope the meeting goes well with the Doula, i would of loved to have had one with Mason but didnt bother.
As for nephew will just let the news sink in for awhile and ring him in a week or so
-
Had a terrible night with Mason last night, he didnt end up sleeping until 11pm or somewhere around there, he was screaming and screaming in pain but didnt know what was wrong with him, so dont know if it was teeth or not, but you can not talk him out of it once he starts, he just clamps his eyes shut and screams and wont respond when you try to calm him down.
In the end the panadol started to work and he crashed out finally.
Today he seems ok, has a runny nose though, guess he caught lukes cold.
-
wow ok, hello girls!
I havent been in here for ages, donkeys years even.
i havent really caught up on anything so ill just do a ctach up with my end, chloes been crawling for almost 2 months now :) and she now pulls herself up to standing, she doesnt like it very much though and will prefer to sit on her knees iykwim untill she gets pins and needles i guuss coz she starts to cry after about 5 minutes. She's very cheeky, 76cms long and weighs 9.41kgs.. shes even had her first hair cut.
we're moving to newcastle, by mid april at the abo****el latest and will hopefully be moving to medowie or um raymond terrace, as they are close to the RAAF Base there. So for the next month its buys for me as Anthony is still over there in newcastle, was home on the weekend for reuinon travel but is back over there so i gotta do the moving all by myself, should be fun. lol
anyway take care ill try and visit more often
love Lesley
-
Best of luck with the move :)
-
Belinda - Sorry that you had another bad night with Mason, I hope his runny nose clears up soon.
Lesley - GL with the move. I use to live at Medowie until I married Mark 2 years ago, it`s lovely there but is a lot bigger then it use to be when I first moved there in 1999, it never had a shopping centre, now it has Bi LO. RT is okay but I perfer Medowie over the Terrace. Chloe sounds like she`s going well, can you believe it`s just over 7 weeks till Matthew`s and Chloe`s Birthdays OMG where did that time go  Then everyone else in here follows.
I feel really icky this afternoon, very fainty like and just yuck in general, it could be the heat, it`s been so hot and humid here for days, thinking I might not go into work tomorrow I feel too washed out for it atm.
I was trying to make some lamingtons, while doing them Matthew was into everything, he knows how to open my pot cupboard and gets all my pots out, I don`t mind him playing with a couple but the whole cupboard full is a bit much, then went into where the kittens are and Daddy`s tools and started playing with them which I don`t like him doing as I have often caught him with a screw in his mouth, then from there to the bathroom and made another messs, it was a bit like a tornado LOL He`s now having a sleep.
-
Well sounds like you would of enjoyed that nap time today Dee lol
Funny you mention Raymond terrace i used to go there heaps when i was younger to visit friends, hated the train trip from sydney though, and everytime i went the trains would break down and i would have to catch a bus some of the way, it sucked!
Could be the heat making ya feel a little off Dee, it is a big muggy here today and i feel a bit the same. And definately dont go if your not up too it.
Take care
-
Hello I'm back again.
dee, thast no good about feeling icky, hope your feeling a little bit better now, yeah we've heard good things about medowie and its kinda why we wanna move there, apparently about 30-40mins out of newcastle itself which isnt too bad, and really cloe to the base, plus we know two people who live there already, so fingers crossed when our paperwork is finalised and i can start looking for a house we'll get there. If not know a few ppl in raymond terrace too so well im not overly fussed as long as its somewhere lol
-
I`m here, decided not to go to work today I still feel icky, yet another hot day just what I want!!!!!!
It can be a small world at times can`t it Belinda.
Your right Leslie, it`s about 30/40 minutes from Newcastle, 5 minutes from the RAAF base and about 30 minutes to lovely Nelson Bay. It`s food you know some people in the area.
Well we should have left to go to the OB but I don`t know where Mark is or if he`s even coming, he`s been to every appointment so far for Bugalugs and Matthew so can`t see him missing out. I decided I`d go as I want my BP checked to make sure it`s okay and just let him know how I`m feeling but I felt like this with Matthew too in the heat, the heat is awful at the best of times without being pregnant but with our extra blood supply it makes us feel worse, who`d be a women hey!!!!!
Better get Matthew up from his morning nap, he`s awake just playing in his cot.
-
Glad you stayed home to rest Dee, and hope you make that appointment, might ease your mind anyways
Where are you living now Dee, sounds like its always hot there lately, it is quiet warm here today but not massively hot.
I woke up at 6am with my throat burning, it was horrible, ended up finding my strepsils and wasnt sure if i could have one but i risked it cause the pain was so bad, then i felt so sick with this cold thing the boys have had, i never usually get there stuff so it sucks, then i put Mason down to sleep and went to sleep myself, but i must of got him out of bouncer while i was asleep! He had been wamdering around for an hour on his own, i feel so lucky nothing happened...
Otherwise i have a ton of housework to do as i have an inspection tommorow but i am going to just put everything in a box to sort later, just cant do it now i feel like crap.
-
Belinda - Sorry to hear that you feel so awful, hugs to you I hope you feel better soon. We`re at Branxton which is 30 minutes inland from Raymond Terrace, it`s in the Hunter Valley area where they produce lots of wine. OMG @ Mason wandering around for an hour unsupervised, glad everything was okay once you woke.
Didn`t get to the appointment, Mark never turned up so I went looking for him he then told me that it would take him 20 minutes to get ready, so I came home and cancelled it. In the meantime I was bitten by something when I put Matthew in his car seat and it`s still stingy, 5.5 hours later, it came up o red and sore, don`t know what it was.
Shannon - Good Luck tomorrow with Jessalyn`s MRI, will be thinking of you.
-
Sorry to hear your appointment didnt happen, hope it happens soon for you.
Didnt realise the hunter valley was near newcastle, i have no clue where anything is lol.
And yes i was lucky he was ok, i ended up falling asleep again this afternoon so luckily luke was here, still feel crap but have to clean up as i have inspection tommorow!!
Ouch at the bite, you probally had a bit of a reaction to it, hope your better soon.
Shannon: Same from me, hope everything goes smoothly tommorow :)
-
I think I have gastro :( very upset belly today.hopefulyl its just 24 hr thing.
sorry to hear you didnt get to your appt dee. and that bite doesnt sound too good :(any ideas what it could've been? Chloe is currently covered in big mozzie bites, they seem to be everywhere atm, put her in a nighty and that was a mistake coz she wriggles it kept riding up so the mozzies had free range :(
hope you starte to feel better soon Belinda, nothing worse then feeling sick and having to clean up, well i ahte cleaning up even when im well lol
hope everyone has a nice uneventful night
take care
Lesley
-
Lesley: Hope you feel better real soon, can totally sympathise with feeling horrible
-
Good morning all.
Hannah, Tim, and I got back from Hervey Bay on Monday (I had a ministerial community meeting - lovely resort room paid for by the govt!). It was nice to get away even though I was busy with meetings and dinners etc. Hannah enjoyed seeing the beach (it was her first time), and we all loved the spa in our room. Now I want one for home!
Hannah and I went swimming with the rest of our mother's group yesterday. We usually watch each other's babies while one of us goes off to get dressed afterwards...Anyhow, all the babies were munching on gingernut biscuits when I went to get dressed, when I came back Hannah still appeared to be eating something...but when I looked closer she was chewing a piece of gum she'd found on the cement by the pool!!! OMG!!! I freaked right out - I so don't want to think about whose mouth it had been in. Some people are so irresponsible! I HATE people who leave gum around - it gets all over everything, and now I don't know what kind of diseases Hannah's been exposed to. Pretty scary. Lucky she's up to date with her vaccinations. She is just so quick (remember the spider incident). It is so stressful having a baby this age!!!!!
I got a phonecall yesterday offering me an interview for the job I applied for a while back!! Yay!! I am pretty excited! There were 21 applicants for the job, and they've shortlisted 6 for interview. Please keep your fingers crossed for me! Our family needs one member working to support it, and DH apparently isn't going to be it. I'm a bit ****ed that it means delaying TTC...but I've really got to do what's best in the long term for us, and this job is perfect for me!
Lesley - I'm sorry you're feeling so awful. Gastro is just horrible. I hope you're feeling better today.
Dee - sorry to hear about your appointment. Must have been pretty frustrating for you. Why didn't Mark turn up? What was his excuse? Hope your bite has subsided...I wonder what it was? Are you meeting your Doula today? That sounds pretty cool! I'm thinking of a VBAC next time...I have to do some more reading and learning about it.
Belinda - Hope you're feeling better? Every one seems to be sick atm! I hope the inspection goes ok, and that you have time to rest and get better afterwards. It is so hard with a little one running around.
Thinking of you and Jessalyn Shannon...
-
OH MY GOD about the gum Juliette!!! Hopefully it was just a kid who ditched it, dirty just the same, but at least less chance of germs from an adult!
YAH at getting shortlisted, will keep fingers crossed for you :))
The getaway sounded like it was good, glad you enjoyed it :)
-
Juliette - Ewww @ the chewing gum incident, I would be the same re freaking out about the germs, why can`t people just put it in the bin when they are finished chewing. Glad you had fun at Hervey Bay. Yay, Yay, Yay for being shortlisted for the position, do you know when your interview is?
It was fruastrating that Mark didn`t turn up in time for my OB appointment, if I`d known earlier I would have taken myself, he was down at the Dairy, he`s extending it toput a computer system through the dairy so it`s something that could have waited, he actually told me he wasn`t coming with me, just wish he`d told me earlier!!!!!!
My Doula came around today, she`s lovely reminds me a lot of Kelly which is nice not that I`ve ever met Kelly IRL but she seems to have Kelly`s views, she knows how much I want a VBAC and how I was diagnosed with a CPD (small pelvis) yet I have now found out how inaccurate the diagnosis for CPD are and if I have an active birth it will widen my pelvis by 30% anyway as long as I DO NOT birth on the bed. She wanted to know what did my OB say about me wanting a VBAC but I`m just telling him, I`m his boss afterall, I want to try my best at a VBAC and this is the best way I can find to go about it, it`s going to cost $900 to have her but what`s $900 if it saves me having a major operation. Bronwyn used to counsel women who had fears with childbirth etc before becoming a Doula, she`s only been a Doula for 6 months and loves it, she loves children and responded well to Matthew and vice versa, when I mentioned my c/s I realised how emotional I became, it`s obviously something I haven`t got over as yet, you probably now what I mean Juliette. Dear I have certainly rambled.
Lesley - Hope your feeling better soon
Belinda - How are you feeling? Hope the inspection goes well.
Shannon - Thinking of you today.
My bite was still stinging when I went to bed, this morning it`s no longer stinging but is quite red and swollen, still don`t know what it was, whatever it was didn`t like me!!!!!!
-
Dee: Glad to hear you like the Doula, and sorry to hear it bought up sad memories for you, its very interesting what you say about the pelvis, have a few friends who have been diagnosed with one and seems maybe that information was wrong?
Sorry to hear you were a bit frustrated with Mark about the appointment, hopefully you can sort out a better time to suit you both for next time:)
Hope that sting clears up soon too.
I am ok today, still not well but better than yesterday, inspection went fine, i had done most of it, except mopping floors as i kept getting dizzy so wasnt worth it.
Do you know of a website that hosts mpeg files? Want to put some clips i made on digi cam onto website for my mum to view
-
Belinda - I actually had a CT scan off my pelvis before Matthew was born and it was smaller then what it should be but after reading up lots on the subject since it can be very inaccurate as your lying down and everyone know`s that you shouldn`t give birth lying down so by standing up, kneeling squatting you open your pelvis an extra 30% then lying down.
Glad your feeling a little better, at least now the inspection is all behind you.
Sorry I can`t help you with the website which hosts mpeg files.
Matthew got into the bathroom drawers and started pulling everything out, he had pads, soap, ointment, shampoo and condition all over the floor LOL They are so fast. I gave him a bath after that, where he soaked Mummy again, he`s now crashed out, hope he doesn`t sleep too long otherwise he`ll be late going down again tonight, he was so hypo last night, I never thought he`d settle enough to go to sleep but he did eventually just after 9pm, then slept till 5am.
-
hello,
i cant help with the mpeg files either, I know anthony might lol not that thast much help.
glad to hear the inspection went well..
on the small pelvis thing, they told me when I was pg with Josh that I had a very samll pelvis and there was no way I would get him out... my mum had a small pelvis too so I started to think Id have to have a C section, but they decided to let me go and said they'd give me an emergency one if need be, but lo and behold I gave birth to Joshua natrually and he wasnt overly small either, he was 7lbs 15 ounces.. head circ of 34cm's.. it did take awhile to push him out though, but still he came..
then with Chloe I was worried again but apparently Joshua stretehced my pelvis because Chloe came out no problems at all and alot shorter and she was 9lbs 15 and a half ounce and had head circ of 38cm's.. so I dunno I think that if they wanna come out then not much is gunna stop em, or they just get the info wrong.
good luck anyway dee I hope you do get your vbac
i went to the gym today, felt pretty good cept now my toes arent very happy with me hehehe..
-
Lesley, great to see you around again! How's the gastro? Hope it's cleared up!
Deeanne, hope that bite's better now. Your Doula sounds fantastic! Fingers crossed you'll be able to have your VBAC with her support.
Juliette, sounds like you had a great time at Hervey Bay! Ewww @ the gum! Good luck for your job interview. When is it?
Belinda, great to hear the inspection went well. Hope you're taking things easy on yourself!
We traded in our car the other day and the sales guy repeatedly reassured us that their mechanics would be able to swap the carseat over for us but when we were there they tried to put it in the new car and they stood there scratching their heads for 20 mins. They asked me if it looked right and when I had a look I gave it a nudge and I could push it so that it was at a 45deg angle to the seat!! They poked around for a bit longer and then tried to tell me that it was because the seats were a bit deeper and that it would still be safe in an accident even though it was that loose. Grrrr. No way was I putting Kynan in it like that! I made them call RACT for us and DH took the car around and had their approved fitter install it.
-
Ggggrr at them and the carseat, glad you stood your ground on that one.
It is probally illegal for them to be fitting them anyways.
Hope everything else is going well for you :)
Hope you are feeling well today Dee:)
Still thinking of you Shannon and hope everything is going well for Jessalyn and the girls :)
I am feeling ok today, besides the constant aches in my bones! I feel sick because i havent eaten but dont know what i want!! Getting a bit of headache now too so better force something down i guess
Take care
-
Oh you poor thing, Belinda! I remember very well the feeling of being sick because you haven't eaten and yet not being able to decide what you feel like! I was in tears one day because DH offered to go buy me something to eat but I had no idea what I felt like LOL. Maybe try having something like dry bikkies, cheese, fruit, or yoghurt to graze on during the day just so that you don't get to that point of feeling ill from not having eaten? Hope you managed to find something you can eat!
-
Well i have finally caught up with the posts !! ... yay
Dee - How exciting to be having another BOY !!! ..... very happy to hear all is well with the scan. Hope the bite clears up for you ... could have been a wasp or bee ?? ... good luck with the VBAC, really really hope the doula can help you xx
Belinda - gosh how scarey to find Mason wandering around on his own .... the heart would have been pumping big time !! ... glad he was ok ;o)
Lesley - hope the belly ache has got better .....
Juliette - OMG @ the chewing gum !!! ..... & to also comment on the spider incident as i was away ..... a MASSIVE OMG !!!! .... i would have absolutely DIED ... totally freaked out .... (bit of an aracnaphobic here (sp?) .... thank God Hannah is ok from this .... looks like a bit of a pattern here with her , you have to have eyes at the back of your head ... little miss mischuf your girl ..haha .... hey good luck with the interview !!
Angel - can totally relate with the car seat fitting ... except with me i actually paid an RACV fitter to fit my seat when i was 8mth pg .... & the seat slid across the back seat ... he said it was because of the leather seats & would be ok if i had an accident as the belt will lock up !!! ....gggrrrr .... had to ring RACV manager to get it refitted - they just had to put a pin on the belt to lock it in place ... but if i didn't chase up he would of approved it for a newborn to travel .... gggrrr i was so angry ..... good on you for following up with RACT
Not much happening here .... little Jesse has his 4th tooth poking out now .... he is teething again for the 5th one ... a few unsettled nights here & there .... he is standing up heaps now ... & side stepping across the couch ... he thinks he is soooo clever.
I have weaned him of the breast for his lunch feed (giving him alot of water) .... & putting him down to sleep was the test .... most days he has gone down well .... He is now only on the breast for the morning & evening. He was only having a very small amount during the day, so thought best to cut that feed as when he goes to day care he will need to learn to go down to sleep without the milk.
Have sent the invitations for Jesse Baptism/b'day ... it's all happening, cannot believe he is going to be 1 ....!!!!! ...our babies are all growing up too fast xxxx
-
Thanks for the tips Angel:) Yeah i need to get some snacks to leave around, ended up having KFC when i went out, it was good:)
Oh and i found fairy floss, i spotted it from outside the shop and i said to Luke i am so excited LOL, but had a bit of Lukes on the way home and i dont want it now, oh well at least i found it :)
Rails glad you are going well, and yah on more teeth, Mason still has none is sight, but Luke is only getting his 2nd set of teeth on top now at 8, so hoping they end up with strong teeth later in life after waiting so long for them!
Otherwise i just went shopping and bought some new tops, but i dont know how long they will fit me for lol, but they will fit after if not.
Take care

Got a fisher price push along walker from ebay today for Mason and he took to it straight away, pushing it up and down the hallway, so clever:)
He kept crawling back for a drink and then going back to it though, must be thirsty work lol.
For 8.50 it was a great buy :)
Noticed since he was pushing it around he is walking more by himself, nearly covered half the lounge room walking.
Then he was just dancing to a song on tv, and i was watching him and watching the show and he was copying what movements they were doing, thought that was clever too.
Guess this post is all about Mason lol :)
Dee: Hope you are going well and your phones arent down again

Belinda - I`m here, I`ve just been really down since my OB appointment yesterday afternoon - you can read more about what`s happened in the VBAC/EBAC thread.
Sorry girls, I`m just not in the mood for personals atm but have read up on everyone and I`m glad your all going well.
