Dee - So pleased that Matthew is getting back to normal. Not long and he will be off running.
I can understand why you wouldn't want to leave him with MIL.
Good luck with having tests done and i hope you find out quickly what was wrong.

just thought id pop in quickly,
angel great photos of kynan.
dee glad matthew is getting better
hello to everyone else,Im about to go back to bedcoz chloes finally just fallen asleep after being up since 4am and before thatwasup at 12-1am..
took her to the docs yesterday, she thinks she has Irritable Hip Syndrome and it may of been set off by her leg going under a little bit of stress, nothing is broken thankgod, shes putting more weight on her foot but still prefers not too, she is booked in for an ultrasound on the 8th of june for her hip to check for fluid or something. Chloe was fine when she was testing her legs and feet but started to cry and wriggle when she tested her left hip, so that was her reasoning for sending for the ultrasound. I wish is was sooner but apparently the places that do them are really busy and the 8th is the first available appt and is down near the city doh!
anyway off to bed for as long as she'll let me lol
hope everyones well
Lesley
Hope you are able to get some sleep Lesley.
That is great news nothing wrong with Chloe's foot I'm sure everything will be fien with her ultrasound.
Michelle, yeah I noticed the same hat in Alex's photos! It's a cute outfit isn't it. Alex would be in the size up from Kynan though I imagine LOL. How are things going with the PG?
Deeanne, glad to hear Matthew recovered pretty quickly! Hope you're able to get some answers as to what the cause of it was. Hope everything went okay with you u/s too.
Lesley, good luck for Chloe's u/s on the 8th. Fingers crossed it's nothing & she's all better by then.
I called the GP yesterday to see what the go was with Kynan's 2 immunisations but he wasn't in so I have to call back around 3pm today. I'm a bit puzzled cos everyone else seems to have had 3!
Angel - Alex has it in a size one but he's been in size ones for about 4 months now. I did have to take the outfit back once as the top had a hole in it. Lucky the got some more in as i love that outfit.
I have trouble keeping trousers on Alex a size one waist is a little two big on some makes and a 0 would be too small in the leg. Does anyone else have this trouble ?
Not sure how long i will hold off from buying a size 2 in tops as his arms are getting so long.
ETA: Pregnany is going okay no symptoms at all.
Kynan has the outfit in a size 0. I had the same problem with the waist of pants being too big in one size but the legs too short in the smaller size when Kynan started off in size 0s. Someone in this thread suggested putting a little stitch in the waistband at the back of the pants. I couldn't be bothered LOL so just had to put up with a few weeks of constantly pulling up Kynan's pants until his tummy filled out a little more.
Alex is always kicking his pants off. Just glad the weather isn't too bad.
Heya Brooke! Hope all is well with Maya these days!
Michelle, LOL yeah Kynan would always wriggle out of his pants when he was commando crawling!
Hello Brooke - Hope your all well.
Angel - Hope you get the mystery of the vacs sorted out. Yes my u/s went fine, baby has right amount of fluid, he seems to think the 2 big leaks I had may have been normal mucus but my body temp made it liquidy hence why it ran down my leg (sorry TMI). How`s the bding going? When is AF due?
Michelle - HOpe you feel pg soon.
Lesley - Glad Chloe is okay, I hope the scan goes well for her.
With the pants, Matthew has been in a size 1 since - oh I can`t remember - sometime before Christmas it was, yes in the beginning we were having the same problems needed size 1 for the length of him yet his waist was too small, now he`s grown into them and like Alex is getting too big for some size 1 tops.
Took Matthew to my GP this morning, he was shocked that we were left waitinf with a baby with a severe allergic reaction, he`s told me what to do for next time 10-15mls phenergan then go to hospital and I also have a referal for him which is in 3 weeks time, so not long to wait which is fantastic. I`m going to make up a sign so everyone knows what to do when it happens again.
Dr couldn`t get over how well I look for only having 8 weeks to go, it was nice to be told that.
Hope your all well.
Take Care
Dee
Deeanne, sounds like you've got a good GP anyway! Fingers crossed there is no next time as far as allergic reactions go! No idea where I'm at in my cycle LOL. Body's playing tricks on me I think!
Apparently Kynan just managed to get in with a new immunisation schedule so that's why he's had different ones to the rest of your bubs. I'm still a bit confused as Belinda, you said Mason had 3 and he was born the day after Kynan.
Hey Girls
Great idea Dee making up a sign to know what everyone has to do, and nice that the doctor commented on how well you looked :)
Michelle: Sure them symptoms will come alone when you least expect them :)
Angel: Yes Mason had 2 in one arm and 1 in the other, no idea why either?
Well i have my scan tommorow at 1.30pm so will try and pop in when i get home to update you all on what colour i am buying, still have more feelings towards a blue one, but i think more because of past history, so we will see, healthy scan is the outcome i want in the end anyways :)
Take care
Angel - That`s a bit strange re Kynan`s vaccinations, was it to do with the date he was born or when you actually went in for it they had already changed the schedule? As Matthew had his only 1 day before Kynan`s, you might be best to talk to your clinic nurse she might be able to explain it all to you. I hope your body doesn`t play tricks on you for too much longer.
Oh no MIL just yelled out that Matthew has tipped cake all over the floor
Belinda - GL with your scan, I hope it`s a pink one for you but your symptoms sound so similar to mine this time I`d have to say you`ve got a blue one, as you say as long as they are healthy that`s the main thing.
Dizzy Dee today, wish it would go but I`ve been feeling like this for about 1.5 hours, awful feeling.
Nothing much going on, it was Alister`s Birthday on Friday, we went to McDonalds for a party for him yesterday, which he enjoyed, of course he`s over the moon he has a motorbike now. Gee I feel old when my step sons are teenagers, I certainly feel like I have a house full when they are here.
Oh talking about children, Mark is now saying he`d like another 4  , he obviously wants that football team LOL Guess I`m lucky that he wants so many but as he says it`s up to me as to how many I want, that would give me 6 plus 2 step sons, talk about being busy!!!!! At the moment I`d like to have this one firsrt before thinking of more, I was thinking of having 4.
We went out looking for cars yesterday, Mark is allowed to borrow a limited amount of money so that`s good, we were thinking of the territory but looking at it, it doesn`t do much for us, so we had a look at the Toyota Prado yesterday that was okay but the boys didn`t have much room at the back, then we had a look at the Landcruiser VX, much more room in it for the boys long legs and roomier inside so it looks like that may be the one, it doesn`t have a couple of features we`re use to like the trip computer and climate control but we probably can live without those, being an 8 seater is a bonus as we can take Mark`s mum and my Dad with us too until we have 2 more children  Going back today so I can test drive it and have a look at a couple of things we forgot to look at.
Okay I`ve certainly raffled on LOL
Hope everyone`s well
Take Care
Dee
Have fun testing driving a new car Dee. LOL @ Matthew tipping a cake over.
Wow @ mark wanting another 6 kids.
Belinda GL tomorrow with your scan i hope it's a girl this time for you.
My good news today is Alex took his first 4 steps alone :) I was reading a book and he went from our kitchen wall to the table which is about 4 baby steps lucky i looked yp when i did or i would have missed it. Was trying to get him to do it again for DH but he didn't want to.
Ah it wont take long now Michelle, very clever of him :)
Well Mason just had cherrios and cheese for lunch, have been adding a blob on sauce onto his plate and although he sneaks his finger in for a dip he is pretty tidy with it which is suprising
I wish Alex was tidy at eating he always makes a mess and he knows the cat sits under his chair now so when he doesn't want something he throws it over the side.
Belinda, good luck for your scan today! Can't wait to hear how it goes. Hope bub co-operates! LOL @ Mason being so neat when he eats. Kynan definitely isn't. I have him some hommus dip on his tray the other day (he loves the stuff!) and his way of eating it was to smear his hand in it and then lick his fingers LOL!!
Deeanne, yes that's a good idea about talking to the clinic nurse about Kynan's vaccs. Will have to pop by and see her again sometime. Wow @ Mark wanting another 4 babies! Imagine if they were all boys LOL. Did Matthew make a big mess with the cake?
Michelle, LOL @ the cat sitting under the highchair! Our cats do a bit of a fly by of the highchair when Kynan drops food - they know if they stay there too long they're likely to get food dropped on their heads LOL!
Kynan fell over and bit his tongue AGAIN on Saturday. He must have had the tip of his tongue between his teeth as he somehow managed to graze the surface of it all around the front. Geez there was soooo much blood... soaked into his wondersuit and DH's dressing gown and I was trying to mop it all up with a tissue. It kept bleeding a little on and off all Saturday and he even woke up on Sunday with blood on his sleeping bag and cot sheet. I'm usually not all that bad with blood but I just panicked seeing so much of it come out of his mouth like that! DH had to keep telling me to calm down LOL.
Oh, Michelle, can't believe I forgot to say YAY for Alex's first steps... what an achievement! WTG Alex!
ITS A BOY!!!! :)
Scan went great and i was so nervous and sick about it that i was just so relieved to see a heartbeat and didnt really care what colour it was lol
I thought i might be dissapointed a litle but i am not at all, just happy all is well
Also where did Shannon end up moving too?? Up my way??
Congratulations Belinda :)
Any names picked yet ??
Poor Kynan i think your going to have to watch him as he gets bigger ;)
They are going to get in to more bumps and bruises as they get older.
Well on the third list now lol, keep getting rid of them all and starting again
Nathan is out as it just sounds too much like Mason and DH doesnt like Nate
DH likes Bayden still, was suprised he bought it up as he wanted Mason to be called that name, but he did say Mason really suits him instead, so of course that proves i am better at picking them him lol!
Today i like Joel but that could change lol
Hope everyone else is well :)
Woohoo, congrats on the little blue bundle, Belinda! Good luck with picking a name!
Michelle, LOL @ having to watch Kynan as he gets bigger. I think he might end up being clumsy like his mummy!
I went over to RACT today and had Kynan's carseat turned around today. I'm so glad that we kept him rearward facing for so long after hearing what the RACT guy had to say about forward facing & accidents! Apparantly they have such a hard time convincing people to leave the carseats rearward facing for as long as possible and people think it'll be okay to turn them around as long as bub has good head control but that you should wait longer because babies neck & vertabrae are so fragile when they're younger.
Yay, Yay, Yay Belinda for another little blue boy :) I had a very strong feeling you were having a boy and I have a feeling Michelle`s little one is a girl. I`d say Shannon is still in Melbourne as Jessalyn only had her op on Friday.
Angel - Matthew was very secretive were the cake was concerned, I didn`t hear it fall, he was only missing for 30 seconds, the cake went everywhere, all up the cupboards etc yet he didn`t have any evidence over him and he didn`t play in it, we think he knew he was doing the wrong thing so took off LOL Poor Kynan biting his tongue again, that`s great you were able to leave Kynan car seat in the newborn position for so long, we left Matthew in the position until his legs reached the back seat then off course he had to be turned, I think he was 8 months.
Michelle - Yay for Alex.
Matthew is getting more confident each day with his step taking, each day he`d take 3 or 4 steps a number of times throughout the day. Not much else is happening here.
Take Care
Dee
WhooHoo Belinda !!!! ..... great news to be having a little boy ! :babyboy: ... glad to hear the scan went well too. LOL @ being on your third name list ... i'm sure the right name will be agreed on soon.
Dee - happy to hear Matthew has recovered well from his allergic reaction. Your hospital ordead sounded terrible, lucky your gp is better. YAY @ Matthew taking some steps, very exciting.
Angel - yeah, heard that about the car seat too. We waited as long as we could, just before Jesse turned one, his feet were touching the back seat too - he didn't look comfortable anymore. Its funny to see them facing the other way isn't it, I think they enjoy the car ride better facing forward.
Michelle - WTG Alex taking 4 steps ... always the way hey, when you want them to repeat a moment the little rascals make a liar out of you LOL !!
Well Jesse is STILL SICK he has a very sore nose from the tissues am now using wet wipes when i can, poor bubba :crying: .... & i have caught it too ... have an extremely sore throat & a cough which is draining. Took Jesse to the doctors again to check his ears & breathing (both OK), not much he can do though. Just have to let the virus run its course. We had our MHN visit this morning he has gained a little weight not much because he has been sick & off his food a bit, think it was 9.4kg. Jesse is still doing the furniture walk .... dh said he saw him take about 1 step on his own, but i haven't seen it yet.
Rails hope you and Jesse are better soon. Alex has a runny nose again it seems to go for a week and then come back. I'm sure Jesse will take that one step for you soon.
Not had anymore from Alex well not that i have seen for all i know he could be running around the other end of the house as i type this lol.
WTG Matthew on taking more steps he'll be running before you know it Dee. Just in time for the new bubs to arrive :)
Angel you should see some of the bruises Kimberley ends up with from running all over the place.
Thanks for the congrats guys, and i was pretty convinced i was having another boy so was no big shock to me :)
Had a little grieve for the girl i might never have but was over it very fast, as i was very sure this one was another boy
Well not much else happening here, MAson is running about causing trouble at every turn, but all up happy most of the days so its all good
Dee: Yah at Matthew taking more steps :) And not long to go for you now pregnancy wise
Mine is flying by at a too fast rate, how about yours?
Michelle: Hope the pregnancy is still uneventful for you
Rails: Hope you all get better soon
Angel: Good for you for leaving the seat as long as possible, i know i just went on weight for mine but Mason was in capsule so got a bit squeezy in there by that time anyways
And thanks for update on Shannon, just read a thing how she wasnt a moderator now and good luck up north so wondered if they decided on the move up
congrats on the boy belinda!!!
Rails - Poor little Jesse, I hope he`s feeling better soon and I hope you recover quickly as well.
Michelle - You probably find with Alex like I do with Matthew, some times he just can`t be bothered step taking and finds it quicker to crawl. Oh I had a weird dream about you last night, you were with me at the house I grew up in, you were pregnant, about 20/21 weeks and it was a boy, you were a bit disapointed as you would have liked a girl but you were pkay about it as you knew Alex and your little boy with love each other to bits.
Belinda - Hugs to you, will this baby boy be your last? I told Mark this morning I don`t think I`m going to get a girl out of him LOL
Dee your right he does still prefer to crawl but the last few days he has been standing on his own a lot more. I'm sure you will have a baby girl one day you just will have to time it a little :)
Alex loves to play in my cupboards and has broken two mug handles in two days. Poor thing is full of a cold again but then we all are at the moment. He also loves to play in the bin when he can get away with it.
Michelle - I just remembered about your scan I wish you all the best of luck but know you don`t need it - It is tomorrow isn`t it? Or have I totally lost the plot LOL
Yes my scan is tomorrow Dee. Thank you for the good luck.
hope the bubba is active for u today michelle and moving aroudn being cheeky :)
dee: i dont know really< i know for sure i would never have another one to try for a girl as i would just end up dissapointed< i have considered it but really i think then noone can fit in the car and expense wise so i think i will just have this one and see how the birth goes lol< may walk away never wanting another one again lol< its frustrating knowing that more than likely you will end up with a boy out of them though< adn i thought you were going to have four kids together??
sorry for double post but i cant edit cause of computer being so crap!!
but just wanted to say dee if you are trying for a girl dont bother with the four days before and the girl sperm survive< i am having a boy to prove that doesnt work lol!
i have read that most ppl who have got a girl or mixed genders just bd every night around o time and take the chances< i know with the boys every time it was once only> so who knows i guess with more bd"ing you up your chances of it being either< or another boy lol< i am also convinced bill only has boys in there lol
Michelle - I can`t wait to find out how your u/s went :)
Belinda - Withone of my early blood tests the pathologist accused me I was eating all the wrong foods for a girl, hence why another boy came along - I looked it up, yep I`m certainly eating foods for a boy and not for a girl, so next time I`m going to up my calcium intake (I`m very naughty don`t have enough calcium) but if I end up with all boys, I`ll be like you and still be Queen Of The Castle :) As I said in an earlier post, it was going to be 4 children together but Mark`s now talking about 6 between us (not counting Michael and Alister).
Your certainly right with any more then 3 children it certainly blows the budget when you have to buy a new car, our brains have been in turmoil all week trying to work out what car best suits us, all the people movers are out as they don`t have the capacity to tow what Mark has to tow on the farm so it has to be a 4wd but they are all so expensive, even 2nd hand ones people are wanting an arm and a leg for, I got to the stage this week where Itold Mark perhaps we should have thought about it more and stopped at Matthew, it`s not a good time for buying a new car in these terrible drought conditions we`re having.
Anyway enough about that.
I have a little Superman on my hands today - I brought Matthew a superman t shirt with a cape, he looks so cute in it. Had a restless night with Matthew, he kept waking and crying throughout the night, wondering if it was the full moon shining into the bedroom.
funny you mention the food as i am a person who has no calcium either< but did take multis before ttc"ing this time< so yeah who knows lol< but i am happy that mason will have a brother to hang out with and two older brothers to learn from(including nephew there)
its damn hard financiallly when you start to consider things isnt it< but i know my bil and sil have six kids between them and they all do ok and i guess you just work it out as you go and there is nothing saying you cant have a break between this two to let things improve a little first
good luck with all that happens anyways :)
Michelle - i'm with you there with the broken mug handles, Jesse broke my favourite mug the other day ...:( ... so had to go buy some new ones, cause the next day he broke another one .... really have to get those locks on the cupboards doors - dh is really slack ! .... hope your scan went well, thinking of you xox
Belinda - i heard that theory too, with the girl sperm being stronger & the male sperm faster - when we were ttc i mentioned this to dh, so we bd right on O days most fertile to up our chances of concieving a boy - it might of worked cause we had a boy :dunno: , must say though haven't heard the calcium one.
Dee - how cute with the superman outfit ... i have one too here for Jesse but it is still too big for him, maybe in a few months it will fit properly. Good luck with the car hunting ... hope you find one that suits.
Well, Jesse is better ... but i am worse ! .... feel like crap ... my head aches, the coughing is terrible & i am suppose to be going out tomorrow night - had organized Jesse to be babysat by my sister ... i hardly ever go out, my first night in ages... can't believe i am sick of all nights.
Also we have an update on the weaning issue - Jesse took the Nuby bottle for the first time yesterday !!!!!!!! ..... i put cows milk blended with banana ... he loved it, so i will gradually reduce the banana each day till he takes the milk on its own ... can't believe that it worked ! ... he is still on the boob in the morning.
Jesse is teething AGAIN !!! ..... after his bath yesterday i noticed a couple pimples, said to dh he will probably wake tonight think he is teething again. Sure enough 2:30am he woke screaming :crying: .... it was a very different cry - painfull, thought he had hurt himself ... checked his nappy (cause my nose is blocked, couldn't smell anything lol) & he had a very smudgy poo & a VERY RED bottom ...my poor baby - he has never had nappy rash - only a bit of redness which i got rid of straight away - it was just terrible .... have smothered him with cream all day today, it is getting better, thank god ! .... i did notice that the bottom gums were very swollen, he has 4 teeth on the bottom then a space then the swelling - is that the molars ???
OH !!! ....forgot to mention that i have updated Jesse's website if you want to take a peek xxx
for the gender thing, i always go by the chinese gender prediction chart, its been right for me so far boy then girl. when i was pregnant with chloe I craved milk so badand my docsaid it was coz i needed more calcium, dunno lol
chloe is teething too, she has a runny nose and was getting up every 2 hrs, last night she slept through though after some panadol and teething gel.
i took her to my local playgroup on wednesday it was ok, felt a little out of place as everyone knew everyone but they were all nice to me so that was good.
i ahvent had much of a chance to read up on things
rails i hope jesse doesnt have too many hassles with his teeth
michelle glad to ehar your scan went ok and bubs is going good
hope everyone else is going ok
Lesley
Jesse slept thru last night ... which was a relief, because i couldn't stop coughing & it took ages for me to get to sleep. This morning his bottom is much better - he is alot happier too.
Lesley i did the chinese gender prediction too, mine was right also & so has been most people i know. Hope Chloe has a better night tonight for you.
hope all teethers dont have too hard a time of it
mason is getting around four that i can see at once< but could be more< so went from one tooth to a mouthful soon lol
the chinese predictor said that mason and luke should of been girls and this one should be boy lol so yeah
i also craved calcium badly with both boys< but i really dont have calcium at all< this time i was taking multi pre conception and didnt< so i guess my body had enough in it this time
so i guess it shows you just dont know either way lol< but why not try for fun anyhow it cant hurt
i would never have another one if i really wanted a girl badly though< not willing to take that risk< would only have another one if i were happy that it be a boy< which i would be at this point in time< boys are good :)
Hope Chloe's teeth come through soon Lesley and she starts to sleep all night again.
Alex is cutting another two teeth but he is always so good with it. He's still got hi runny nose so that could be because of his teeth. He's getting better at standing alone and is taking more steps everyday.
I've updated my journal on how my scan went a few things happend when i was there.
Dee so cute having Matthew in a superman outfit don't forget to take photos so we can all see.
ETA we have worked out a cheap way to stop Alex playing in the kitchen cupboards not sure how long it will last but it's a start we are using Kimberley's hair bands to put around the handles. A really cheap way of doing it for now.
how is everyone enjoying there weekend?
mines going ok, over the inital excitment of the bfp yesterday hehe.
it just keeps rainging here i know its needed to keep up the suplies and all but chloe hates being couped up inside. Shes been asleepfor 2 and a half hours now, a very rare occasion for her, tho she was up alot last night.
I hope everyones well.
take care
LEsley
That's great Chloe is sleeping at the moment for you Lesley. What a pain having to stay inside all day because of the rain.
It's another nice day here again we could do with some rain at least it woudl save me from watering the garden.
Alex is also asleep been in bed for about 2hrs he didn't want to go at first but he was so grumpy.
Congratulations again Lesley on you BFP.
