Apparently these things are very easy to download off the net.... I have no idea - I just borrowed it from a friend LOL. I'm very glad that I did too... I'm watching Lost next haha!! Hope your head is feeling better!!!
Yep apparently, my bro does it for everything, just chews through your download allowance though.
Anything good happen Nat???
Hey Vic I can make your fruit more appealing. I have a recipe for fruit dip with Kaluha/Tia Maria if you want it....kinda ruins the nutritional value though....hmmm off to dig into mine with some rockmelon me thinks.....
Just a quick one sorry ladies, me is too tired, these 2hourly wake ups are killing me.
Well drummmmmmm rollllllllllllllll................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................. We now weigh............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ....................................... 6.12kgs YAY!
So basically on the 30/10/06 he weighed in at 6.08kgs
then on the 9/11/06 it was 5.84kgs
now on the 21/11/06 we are back over the 6kg mark YAY!
No vomits today, another YAY!!!!!
But, yep there is always a BUT
He is sleeping so badly, we got so desperate last night that we layed him on his belly (as we do during the day, but don't have the courage at night) and he slept for 4-5hours straight, which is better then the 1-2hours he was doing prior to this. Basically he went to sleep at 9pm and we had to put the dummy back in twice by 11pm as he was restless and started crying and the night got really bad from 11pm then. So when we layed him on his tummy at around 2am, we lay awake checking on him all god dam night, so we are stuffed. Not sure what is going on. We rang the paed today as he has been like this for atleast a week now and he has told us we can increase his losec again, so see if that helps tonight, but my CHN said that maybe because of the continuous feeds his tummy is never empty and he feels pain from it. Don't know but either way we will see how tonight goes. Wade threatened him last night that he is going a long way to being an only child. Now for Wade to say that, that is saying something, as nothing stresses him.
So basically if it is not one thing it is another at present, but we have to look at the positives, just guess it is hard when you are so sleep deprived. But not only do we need our sleep, so does he, so hopefully we work out the answer soon.
I bought a xmas tree today when I broke up from my marriage he got ours, so it was time to invest in another seeing as it is Lachies first xmas.
My mum is here in the morning, so won't be on very much SORRY girls, going to use the opportunity to get my house clean for xmas and get a few zzz's.
Ok ni ni, me is one very very tired gal
Morning Ladies,
:happyforyou: YAY LACHIE!!!!!!!!! :happyforyou:
Thats great news Sheree. Let hope he keeps on the good run!! I have everything crossed for you all!!
Not much on today. Going to have my house back too myself for the day. IL's are going into town for the day. Brent has gone back to work! So its just me and Briley!!
Well girls......my period is offically 2 days late!! I am really getting scared now!! Going to hold off on testing till tomorrow though. Have'nt got a test a home and i am not going into town till tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted.
Anyways BBL
Morning everyone.
Sheree - glad Lachlan is picking up for you. Hope the weight gain continues nicely for you.
Sara - Fingers are crossed for you. I can understand you being scared, but how exciting at the same time.
Just quickly, does anyone have any ideas how to stop my monkey of a daughter from rolling onto her stomach in the bath? She can't sit by herself yet so the bath seat is out of the question, and she's too long for the baby bath. She pushes herself up with her head underwater, coughs and splutters, and when I roll her onto her back to 'save' her, over she rolls almost straight away... Cheeky monkey.
Leanne - For the last couple of days i have been giving Briley tummy time in the water. I just hold her face up with my arm. Sometimes i just let her go and let her put her face under the water for a second just so that she learns that if she puts her face under there she's not going to be able to breathe. The first time i layed her on her stomach she did choke and i rolled her over but now she is a little more cautious.
If you don't want her to roll over maybe roll some hand towels either side of her so she can't roll. I am pretty sure you can buy things to chock either side of her but i am sure the hand towel thingy is the cheaper option. But its up too you.
HTH....
Fantastic news Sheree. Have a lovely time cleaning.
Oooh Sara! Fingers crossed for you. I tried to read your chart but I have NO idea! Wish we could try again (not real keen on another baby just yet, but want to be pregnant again).
Leanne, I have no suggestions, but I think Sara's is good. I'm going back to the baby bath cos now she can sit by herself she prefers to be independent but there's lots of space for mishaps in the big bath. I have a seat if you want to borrow to give her a try.
7 thousand degrees again today.....might go swimming this arvie. It was still 36 at 8 last night so the washing got draped on chairs inside.
Quiet in here today.
It's really really hot. The whole place smells of smoke from the bushfires and the sky is an eerie colour as the sun is shining through the smoke. I hate that about summer. Hopefully things will get under control up in the blue mountains and no homes lost.
Just wanted to say I have finally updated Katy's photo webpage (only took four months) and the link is in my siggy.
BBL - Bert's on.
I HATE ASH in the WASHING.....poor buggars out there fighting hells work.
New signin name Leanne?!
We went swimming this arvie at mum's in a pair of borrowed togs from my nephew and his rashie. The rashie was about 3 sizes too big....funny funny.
might update mine too, good idea.
Leanne - have no suggestions other then why not a baby seat one that is not completly upright - do you know what I mean? It is a seat that is arched, I put Lachlan in the big bath in his seat and he loves it.
Sara - GL for testing!
Kim - geez sounds hot!
Lachie woke at 12am last nite and I patted his bum as he lay on his side and off back to sleep for another 5ish hours. So side/belly seems to be the best thing for him atm.
Lachie appears to have the runs now, 6 wet poos today, I was in town and run out of nappies. He appears ok, bit snuggly which is unusual, I rang the paed today and he told me to get a sample, how hard is that when they soak into the nappy when they are that wet!
Well another vomit today but not as bad like the other ones of late.
It was so funny today I was in town, 6 poos and I run out of nappies. hehe.
Sheree - I think I know the seat that you mean, is there a weight limit on it? I tried Kaitlyn in the bath seat tonight and she hated it, so I thought ah what the heck if she's rolling over and not crying nor drowing can't be too bad....
I'll try her again in the seat when she's sitting.
I am not sure Leanne, but I know I swapped mine with my SIL'S as her boy is way bigger then mine and I had the big seat and she had the little one, so suits us just fine now and atleast Lachlan doesn't fall out of it now, he fits nice and snug.
No time for personals today girls ... I'll be lucky if I get to read even half the posts I've missed out on.
Jovi's doing good ... now ... she has an ear infection she's getting over and a bit of a cold (I blame her sickly cousins who always catch everything going round ... spose it doesn't help they go to day care) which she decided to give to me ... no flu all year than bam!
She's eating like a trojan now. AND she loves her vegies so there goes mum's theory that she was a sweet tooth. I knew she wasn't. Just wanted to start with the fruit. She eats so much! When we went home a couple of weeks ago her nanny made her some mashed vegies and cos she just made a large batch she filled a normal bowl, expecting to put left overs in the fridge ... Jovi at the lot, drank her bottle then had some custard! she's a little pig!
But that seems to be her routine at the moment. Usually if she is awake in the mornings, she'll have bottle, some rice cereal with a little apple. lunch - bottle, vegies, maybe some custard if she feels like it, tea is same as lunch. PLUS she'll have something to eat during the day and juice! She doesn't always drink all of her bottle, but usually half (90mls) and is eating well and putting on weight so I don't worry.
Not sure if I mentioned last time but my SIL had a "little" boy about a month ago. He's not far off being the same size as Jovi! He's already 61cm!!!(Jovi was 65.5 when she had her needles!) Absolutely crazy!
Still trying to move ... applying for any job that comes up (if more money thats better! lol) Work is crazy ... lots to do. Usually getting there around 7 these days (we don't open till 8:30!) so by the time i get home, spend time with jovi, cook tea etc its bed time so not much time for the net these days. Will hopefully catch up on posting soon.
Gotta go ... talk soon and hope you are all well!
MMMMWWWAAAHH!
evening every one well i have 2 sick boys again Nick has come down with some mystery illness he woke this morning saying his foot felt like it was asleep i didn't really think anything of it then when i picked him up from school he was as white as a sheet had a fever and kept saying his foot wouldn't wake up WTF Now ..... so i rang the doctors office and took him straight in the checked him over from head to toe all functions were fine he had a temp of 38.9 and red throat and sore ears but they couldn't explain the foot so i am to keep his temp down and to keep a check on him if any other Sx pop up i'm to take him straight back to the doctor but i think i will be taking him straight to the hospital i think i just got over the worry of Nicks last bout of ??????questionable illnesses and then to top it all off i picked ryan up and he looked terrrible his nose was dripping he was also warm but no real fever so to speak and i got them both home and they have been in bed ever since 6 pm so i'm now going to bed cause i bet i'll be up several hundred times through the night
nite all
i will catch up on posts in the morning
ohhh before i forget Ryan said Dad dad dadda this mornign and then this afternoon he was saying bub bub bubba he thought he was so very clever ( lol and so did his mummy )
Hi Girls...
Just a quick update from me....as of yesterday, Phoebe started to say Dad-Dad-Dad, Wooooo Hoooo. I told DH when he got home from work, and he didn't believe me....well not until he finally heard her say it today. Last night I put her to bed at 7pm (usual time) and I didn't hear a peep out of her until 8am...can you believe it. She woke up starving hungry though and I couldn't feed her quick enough. We have established a fantastic daytime rountine, so I think that has really helped with night times...it's just great.
Be back tomorrow for personals.
Take Care. X
Morning Girls,
The talking stage is a comin!! Great to see. Ofcourse they have to say Dad first hey!!! Nah it must be easier for them to say dad than it is too have to say mum.
Well have'nt tested yet. Prolly wont be going into town till tomorrow now which means i wont be testing till then. Still have'nt got AF though.
Not much on today. Just bumming round the house prolly.
Will BBL for personals.
Oh Sara! I was coming in to see if you'd tested yet....
Shazz, poor Nick again. Hope your night wasn't too bad.
Vic are they all still sick? That's terrible. Your IL's suck as much as mine. You'd think they'd forgotten how to be adults.
Leanne, what about a rolled up towel under her chest when she's on her belly so her head's a bit higher (did I suggest that all ready?)?
I really must get this lot of Darcy's needles organised....it just keeps getting forgotten. We're going to get another layby out today and I might treat myself to some new undies....I used to have nice matching sets....now the elastic's coming out and they're grandma pants! Probably TMI but I'm excited.
LOL - Sorry kim!! Having major money issues today and thats why i can't go into town till tomorrow!!! The issues are that sever i am contemplating giving up uni for a while and returning to work. It all depends on the current "circumstances" if you get my drift!!
Oh Sara that's all right chookie. I totally understand where you're coming from.
Got my undies....woohoo!
got the screaming banshee here this evening.....man is she ever going to be happy to go to bed? She's started kicking again. Violently. Can't keep anything on her. Can't keep her wrapped but she sleeps better when she is, and when she gets an arm out at night she wakes up....gees whoever thought it'd be this frustrating?
Anyone with a calm relaxed child want to swap??? She's been going an hour and forty minutes now....
Trade you for a DP that likes sex Kim? LOL - I'd showered, shaved, washed my hair and made it all pretty, put on nice pj's, put the lamp on in my room, and even hoiked my g'string up a little so he could see... AND hinted I wanted sex, and he didn't stay! Grrr!
Welcome to my world Erin!!!! He might come into a good phase soon but then it peters out after that again!!
Hi Girls...
Erin ~ ALL that effort....and NOTHING!!! You poor thing, o well better luck next time.
Sara ~ WOO HOO no AF....how many days late now?? How are you feeling, do you feel a twinge pregnant or just the usual? Shame about your money probs, doesn't it suck how EVERYTHING is about money.
Kim ~ sorry chick, I think I'll keep my calm relaxed child. Thanks. New undies, nice one.
Evening ladies,
Well i have had a bloody horrible afternoon. The money issues have gone from bad to worse. Brent came home this arvo and told me he'd been sacked!!!
So i have been crying and panicking all afternoon while trying not to give any sign to Brents parents that something is up!!
Still no sign on AF. I am getting a test tomorrow.
Sorry no personals tonight girls. I feel very, VERY miserable.
I'm off to bed i think....
Nite
I’m baaaccck…. Took a day longer then expected but at least its done! And running perfectly so far I might add!! Everything has been updated so it all looks new and special LOL.
Kim ~ LOTS of good stuff happened!! I loved it!! It was like a movie marathon session of Greys haha!! It was good for Lost too because I find that I loose interest in Lost quickly but as a movie it was excellent! Sounds lovely and hot for you over there – it has cooled down a bit here now. Ohhhh at new underwear – I love matching underwear – it’s the best!! I need to organize Em’s shots as well but I can’t while he is sick. I hope Darcy settled for you.
Coopersmummy ~ Why is that men want sex ALL the time but when you want it – they suddenly disappear lol?
Sheree ~ Congrats on Lachie’s weight gain!!! Things look like they are heading in the right direction finally. Damn at running out of nappies – what a pain LOL. Glad you saw the funny side of it though.
Sara ~ Can’t wait to hear the results from that test!! OMG that is horrible he's been sacked!?!?!? Why was he sacked?!?!? Hopefully he can pick up some work fairly quickly. And right before Christmas too - big  for you!!!
Leanne ~ I have no idea how to stop them rolling. Em doesn’t have much water in the bath so he rolls on his belly and crawls about and his fine – until he starts trying to climb out of the bath  Katy is just gorgeous BTW.
Vic ~ Sounds like a good idea to skip the IL’s over Christmas rofl!!
Beck ~ Jovi sounds like Em when it comes to solids!!! Good luck with getting a new job! It is completely understandable why you’re not on the net so much these days – I admire you for getting on at all!!!
Shazz ~ Oh no at Nick’s troubles again… I hope he’s alright. It’s a bit worrying that its all unexplained hey? Whoo hoo for Ryan saying Dada!!! He’s a very clever boy!!
Mummy4Life ~ Another bubba started to talk!!! YAY!!! Congrats to Phoebe! OMG at the 13 hour sleep – I want Em to do that LOL!
I am so so sick… and so sick of being sick!! And Emerson is sick too and I’m sick of him as well LMAO. It’s so quiet here right now and for the first time ever I don’t want G to bring Em back!!!! Em has been hard work this week – which was fine until today – when I just wanted to be left alone to die in my own spluttering and mucous rofl!! Would love to hang out at home again tomorrow but I really must do the shopping because there is NO food in the house!!! I am beginning to dread the weekends – they are so busy!!
Em is just into everything ATM. I was fine the first few days but I think with my being sick I just don’t have as much patience. He is climbing EVERYTHING. The cot, the walls, the couch, the bed… then he falls and cries OR he stands there and cries because he doesn’t know how to get up further or to get back down again. Quite funny actually and I have let him whinge for awhile he stands there (the mean mummy that I am LOL) before saving him. He is getting better but damn he is in the bookcase pulling out the books, he empties the nappy bag and has absolutely no interest in his toys. He wants the remote control, my drink, tissues (had to drag a soggy one out that he was almost chocking on the other day ) – basically everything he’s not allowed to have!! I think I am just tired and cranky – its great, he’s learning lots of new stuff really quickly right???
Kim I’ll swap you a dragon for a monster that gets into everything ;)
Jovi has been babbling for a while now. She start with Nan of all things ... lol. But she says mum alot and dad occassionally, bub and even Brad (who is one of her godfathers)!
AND!! She cut 2 teeth today! the front ones down the bottom. I was so excited and scott was like oh yeah i forgot to tell you! ummm hello! I stuck my finger in her mouth and was like WTF! they're so sharp. She's so cute. Can't wait until they come up more and you can see them when she smiles. At the moment when you try to take a look she covers them with her tongue. Little bugger
Anyway ... that's my news for the moment ...
Wow at Jovi's first teeth coming through!! That is excellent news!!! And I'm amazed at what Jovi can say!! I can't get a damn thing out of Emerson haha!
Yeah she's been babbling for a couple of months now but gets quite a few words out already ... so cute! she even has specific grunting noises for each of our cats so she knows that they have different names ... amazing!
And she's finally figured out that she has to lift her belly to get up. Usually she'll just roll around the floor to get around. now she's trying to crawl ... gets up onto her knees for a bit but doesn't really get anywhere. Scott said she went a couple of "steps" the other day (of course i missed it! lol).
While I'm thinking about it ... its been ages since I was on and I don't know if I've told before, but we took Jovi swimming the other week. She loved it ... even went under which was amazing and she didn't even cry.
Oh and my blood tests came back and i didn't get a phone call so it was definitely negative however i still don't have AF (not that i mind!). I think it must be my PCOS playing up with my body again. Oh well! I can deal with that, just looks like that when we're ready to get preggas again I'll have to go back to the gyno and go on clomid again.
Just saying a quick hello, I am buggered, but got my hair done today, first time in ages and ages. Lachlan is still sleeping very badly and we are absolutely exhausted and with that machine on in the background and having to set the alarm at 1am, 5am and 7am as well as waking up to him all the god dam time I am sooooo tired! Think I might start wrapping him again see if that helps, what does everyone think about that.
Kim - I hear ya on the sleeping thing, Lachlan probably sleeps 9-10 hours at nite with alot of tossing and turning and waking up, and then has 2 x 20min cap naps during the day, although today he had 2 x 1.25hr naps and was grizzley at 7pm so decided to put him to bed and pat his bum furiously in order for us to enjoy our dinner. So he slept I think for 20mins only. But geez normally like I said 2 x 20min naps and 9-10 hours sleep at nite, surely he needs more, I just don't understand why he doesn't sleep really.
Sara - you poor thing honey, that is terrible, what is your DH going to do now. GL with testing.
Shazz - how are your boys today, you poor thing.
Vic - glad your family is a little better, Lachlan pooéd 6 times and hasn't at all since and I was meant to get a specimen, ohhhhh well he is obviously better now then.
Ohhh who else, ohhh Nat - gee we are all having a time with our bubs atm, must be all related to teething hey, although Lachlan has showed the same symptons since 4mths, nothing more unusual really other then the sleeping thing.
Yay for Jovi cutting teeth!
Leanne - How are you and bub, any more thoughts on the bath situation. I really do love my seat, does anyone else have one?
Tania - you must be busy, thanks for all the pics 2nite, haven't looked yet, shall do 2morrow. Hope you and Jayden are doing ok?
Ok nitey nite, must go to bed and get sum sleep if I can.
Morning all.
Well last night Katy slept well, but I didn't!!! Tossed and turned and I think I looked at the clock about 100 times. Could not settle! My brain just kept going around and around.. Dunno why.
Oh poor Sara with brent being sacked. Was it unfair dismissal? Sorry, it's the legal system in me. I hope he finds something soon. Money issues suck. This is why I am going back full time. Try not to worry too much hon, things just seem to work themselves out. Take care.
Kim - I've never had matchines undies. How sad is that? Would make you feel good though, even though noone else knows about it cause they can't see it he he he (well we hope anyway! :))
Coopersmummy - Sex, what's that?
How clever are all our babies with their talking and their little toothy pegs. We don't have any toothy pegs visible over here yet, but they HAVE to be coming soon.... We don't have any real words either, its just constant noise from Kaitlyn. LA La La and then a shrill excited scream and then La La La....Its a classic. I think once she's talking properly it will be like Kaitlyn, just 5 minutes of peace please. Mum tells me that when I was a kid they took ages trying to get me to talk and then once I was talking they tried to keep me quiet :) he he he. I can see that happening with Kaitlyn.
Re the bath - we're just putting a little water in so it does not cover K's ears and then she flips over in 5 seconds flat and kicks and kicks until she gets to the other end of the bath, plays, then rolls, and then kicks and kicks again. I figure, she's happy, she's wearing herself out.... so mum's happy. When I put her in the bath seat she held on for dear life and the look on her face was 'what the?' so I thought - can't do that to her....
Sheree - I am still wrapping at night and tightly too - it's the only way to contain Kaitlyn and she sleeps pretty much 10 to 12 hours every night. I unwrap her in the morning and she does her stretches and then rolls on her tummy straight away. I definately recommend trying it. I think she knows now that when we wrap her we 'mean business' because she's asleep usually within 10 - 15 mins.
Baby - PCOS sux doesn't it? I have it too and it's really a pain. I'll probably be on metformin or clomid for our 2nd, but that won't be for a year or so cause of $$$. I Esp hate it for the weight issues. I am now walking over 30 kms a week and am lucky to lose a kg a week. Ahh at least my heart is healthy I guess and the walking has been good for my PND.
Well this has turned into a mammoth post. Sorry if I forgot anyone.
Better get ready for 'my walk' - being picked up in an hr and I am sitting here in my jarmies, Kaitlyn's still asleep too - so lots to do.
Have a good day ladies.
Haven't had a chance to get on in the last few days. I am so tired and fed up. Riley has been waking every 2 hours at night and won't go back to sleep unless I feed him. Had clinic appt. on tuesday and I failed Edinburgh (spelling?) PND test (I should have studied!) so clinic sister wants me to up my ciprimil and go to sleep school for 5 days. DH nearly had a heart attack when I suggested it - theres no way the rest of the family would cope without me for 5 days. DD#2 is being totally in my face wanting attention all the time thats she's home and to top it all off we have to move house!
Sorry to just come on and whinge.
So exciting for all those babies talking and getting teeth. Riley babbles a lot and my dad swears he said grandad but I don't think so!
Sheree- so glad lachie has put on some weight, you must be so exhausted, I feel guilty complaining when I think about what you are going through.
Coopersmum- sex??????? but I know what you mean about they always seem to want it except when you do!
Matching bra and undies OMG the luxury of it!! My DDs would like me to wear nice matching sets but not muh chance of that in this economic climate!! DD#2 is happy with the Care Bear undies she got me, I bet not many grown women have them!! She even checks and tells me which bear I am currently wearing!
Got to go DD#1 just came to find out where the lunches were. ooops
Sara honey I'm so sorry. How's Brent taking it? Is there much work going up there?
Nat excuse me for being stupid, but who's Amy? Poor love with being sick and not feeling like dealing with a cyclone. I totally understand and I'm not sick.
Hey Beck! Wow Jovi's a chatter. The most I can get out of Darcy is "buh" or "oooh". How's Scott doing?
Those machines are noisy Sheree. I always think she must need more too. I know I do. They have other ideas though. That's cool you got your hair done. Feels good doesn't it? I only had mine done the other day for the first time since 25th March .
Have a nice walk while it's a bit cooler L.
Christine sounds' like you're having a rough trot hon. Do you have MSN messenger? I can't imagine what it's like to deal with all that with two others, but I get the 'failing the test' thing...and the sleep thing. If you want to just vent, feel free to let me know.
Coopersmummy - Erin right? my DH would near pass out if I did that? From shock I think....it's he who thinks I've forgotten how.
Well the Dragon kept it up for three hours. I must have retrieved her from the top of the cot 25 times? The last couple of days she has turned into a nightmare! (worse than she was before). In the end I gave up and took her downstairs for a while. She wasn't the slightest bit tired and she's never been up that late. I never thought I could be so frustrated with her.
I tuck the sheet in with nappies either side and it's like a challenge she has to kick off. She fights to get out of the wrap but then just pulls the dummy out and thinks it's time to play. I've tried different wrapping techniques...I'm not sure a grobag would be any good bacause it would be just more of a challenge for her...and they cost a bomb....and we were just settling down again :crying:
We're off to have piccies taken again today and might give Santa a go.
Morning ladies,
Well i am off into town today too buy a pg test. AF still has'nt arrived!!
The brent situation has settled a bit. I am still worrying heaps though. For those who asked....no it was'nt unfair dismissal! It was something that i am too ashamed to mention. Something that was entirely his fault. Looks like i may have to go back to work afterall. Oh well.
So yeah off to town today. I am so nervous about testing!!
BBL
http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/k/katerinadimi/Hi Ladies,
I am so sorry I have disappeared . It has been hectic. I hope you are all well and that things are looking up for everyone who is having a hard time. katerinas christening went well and thank goodness it is over.
Guys I really want to put a pic of my angel on my signature and have no Idea how to do it, can anyone explain?
xxooo
Sara..... hugs to you. You must be stressing out all over right now. Being pregnant would be a great thing... but I guess it might be a bit stressful if Brent's not working. I'm sure he'll get another job real soon. Hopefully you won't have to go back to work, especially if your pg. Sorry I've not been online much. I've been missing our chats. Whenever I am online you don't appear to be.
I'm so impressed that so many bubs are talking. My hubby is trying to teach Shaun to walk and talk. Thankfully he keeps saying "mum, mum or imma, imma" as well as "dad, dad, aba, aba" (imma/aba are hebrew). Shaun doesn't seem interested in talking, and that's fine with me. He does seem keen to walk... even though he can't crawl yet. He turns six months on monday...
OMG kim... you pick Darcy up 25 times from her cot!! Now I feel bad that I spent a week at sleep school because shaun would wake up every 3-4 hours. I must say though, the SS taught us to recognise his cries, and often we just listen to him grissle... and he drops back to sleep by himself now!! I have had three nights of 6-7 hours sleep - including one last night!!
He's got a rotten cold at the moment. He coughs like he is choking; and I can't give him anything to relieve it. He also has a terribly runny nose. I keep a vapouriser on in his room, which keeps the air moist and I think it helps. I might buy some baby vicks today. Any suggestions to soothe his throat girls??
Hope you all have a great weekend. We've got to vote in Melb, then we've got a party on sunday night. And I'm thinking of entering Shaun into a babyquest competition at our local shopping centre.
BTW... the audition went well, but we won't find out for a couple of weeks. It's a new game show that's filmed in Sydney... and any Melb contestant that is successful gets to fly up to Sydney and accomodation at their expense. There are 6 contestants per show, and generally every contestant leaves with some money... and the winner can get over $50,000. It's called "poker face" in England.
Jodie - I wish you all the luck with that show sounds like fun and boy what great money prize.
Kim- have you tried this technique, ooops will send you the link just realised can't post here, hopefully my access allows me to pm you. Will try in a sec otherwise might have to get your email address. I am getting desperate to wrap him again or I might just continue to put him on his belly, I am getting more at ease about that as time goes on, he appears to like it atm.
Sara - gee I really feel for you, I would hate to be in that situation.
Hi angelique - long time no see.
Mrsmac - don't feel guilty about whinging everyone has their own issues and own tolerance levels. Everyone keeps telling me it is all in prespective as I have come to realise there are far worse children then mine too after visiting hospitals so much of late. But either way it is all our own situations and hard for each and everyone of us at times.
Leanne - Yay for Katy sleeping well, poor mummy though, gosh I hate that, our minds are so active aren't they?
Well Lachlan was a little rat sleeping again, woke at 4.30am and wouldn't go back to sleep, gosh how does this child survive on such little sleep???
Call me simple but I can't work out how to pm, maybe I don't have access?????
