No Tania, Darcy doesn't sleep through....but thanks for asking. I've been up since 3 this morning.
Had a nice day though, despite not wanting to go. I only bet in $2 amounts all day and ended up $4 in front so not bad. Don't know if we'll go out to dinner though. It's all the way back where the races were, so I do'nt know if I can be bothered drving that far. I'm sure Darcy would have a lovely time. It just so hot though.
Ha Christine, please do, but I don't think I'll be around for a couple of days since I have to work tomorrow night again. It'll give you some time to work it out.
Alison I totally totally understand. Whinge away love.
-
Little cow ditched me! She told me she'd ring me when they were going to a restaurant (I live about 35mins away). When she finally answers her phone, they've already ordered - and are at the RSL...of all the great places to eat and they're at an old persons digs (sorry normally it's ok to eat, but for a hen's night???)! By the time we got there they would have been ready to go. So we're going to stay at mum and dad's instead.

Shazz ~ That is fantastic that Ryan is walking!! WTG Ryan!!!
Leanne ~ I hope Katy is feeling better soon. And I hope you don’t come down with it either!!
Kim ~ It is really sad that they aren’t little any more :(… but like you said they are getting to be lots of fun now! Arghhhh @ your sister too! I’d be venting as well. Glad to hear you face is better as well. I don’t know how you do it. Yesterday I was up from about 3 or 4 and I was just stuffed!! Good on ya for being ahead $4 & OMG at being ditched!!! How rude!!!
Alison ~ I’m so sorry to hear you’re hating work so much. Sounds as though you have a horrid class there! I hope it gets better for you!
Tania ~ Awwww @ Jayden losing his voice. That would have been cute even though he was sick! Jayden sounds like one smart little cookie!!
Christine – My real name is Natalea LOL. My username used to be that ages ago when I was pregnant and then I had it changed. Pmsl @ mechanical bulls & 21 years old not being your thing anymore! I think I’d feel old there as well!!
Em has stopped throwing up though is still having coloured water for poos! He seems quite happy even though he’s not eating solids and not having much milk either. Hopefully he perks up on this tomorrow. Just about to sit down and watch Heroes and have a late dinner. I'm surprised I managed to get on tonight. I'm working for another 2 days and then I have orientation at uni. Then I have 2 days off - yay!!

Oh yes I got it alright..... Sore throat, runny nose, head like its full of glue, achy bones, head aches. NICE.
We had to take Kaitlyn back to the dr yesterday cause the benadryl was doing nothing. It's now turned into a little bit of a chest inf, so she's taking one medicine for that, and another for her runny nose, and then panadol for her fever. She's not eating properly and she's so upset and clingy. Poor little thing.
I'm so tired from working, and trying to get things done on the weekend to prepare for next week with my flu thing is almost impossible. Grr. It all starts again tomorrow. Might keep Kaitlyn home tomorrow as she's at my mums and just take the day off to recover myself and let her get a bit more rest before school on Tuesday.
I'm also struggling with my PND.
Anyway, she's up again (only been asleep for 10 mins), cause she can't breathe properly, so better rescue my little girl.
Sorry for no personals, I do read everything I promise ......
Take care call.

Shazz: I missed the bit where you said Ryan was walking!! Congratulations little man!! I went to visit a guy I used to work with while I was in Melb and his mum said that her 2 youngest boys were walking at 8mths!! That’s the youngest I’ve ever heard I thought 9mths was early….or anything under 1 really.
Christine: I think I did buy everything LOL, mainly clothes though as we don’t have Pumpkin Patch in Bundy so I try to buy a fair bit while I’m there. I’d be a bit over the 21st thing now too, I went to one last year but that was a nephew so I didn’t feel out of place because I wasn’t the oldest there haha
Kim: OMG 3am! Poor you!! Does Darcy feed at that time or just want a cuddle? Jayden sleeps through but is getting harder to get to sleep. I got him out of being rocked to sleep months ago but he is back in the habit now because I was doing it in Melb. It took me 4 goes to have dinner last night because he wouldn’t settle. Bugger @ getting ditched that’s terrible!!
Nat: He was slow it roll, slow to crawl but I think he likes to take everything in (like his dad), he almost analyses everything new and just knows what to do the next time. Like the clapping I showed him what to do and now I just have to say clap hands and he does it. I hope Em is even better today, I hate when they are sick cause there isn’t much you can do but ride it out esp gastro, is he drinking water at least?
Leanne: OMG you’re going through a rough patch! I hope both you and Kaitlyn get better soon.
Oh I went to the Warehouse yesterday to get something to put all Jayden’s toys in and I saw framed 16x20 for $2.44 and they had 2 other smaller sizes for $1.74 and .99c…….Who could say no?? I bought 8 of them and I think we are going back today to get more hehe
Have a great day girls

Hi girls! Long time no talk! I don't even remember the last time I posted.
Jovi's doing well. Popped her on the scales when I went past the chemist on Friday and she weighs 8kgs now which is good.
She's got 4 teeth now and there's another one just about to break through.
I don't think she'll be too far off walking. She now stands herself up and holds onto the lounge or whatever and lets go and stands there. She might take a step or too, then goes down, or falls on her butt. So cute.
I wish mangoes weren't so dear now! DHs mum and dad have been here a couple of times in the last couple of weeks due DHs uncle being in hospital pretty crook and DHs mum bought a couple of mangoes ... one for DH and one for her. DH was smart and ate his while Jovi was asleep, but MIL didnt end up getting more than a small bite of hers. Jovi ate the rest! Everytime we went to take it off her she screamed and chucked a tanty. Little brat. She'll eat just about anything and everything now. Cheese seems to be her fav though and goes crazy when the cheese stick is finished. It's like ... youve finished! NO more! Not good ...
The weather's driving me crazy at the moment. It's mostly hot but we've had the occassional day of unseasonal cold weather and we dont really have any winter type clothes for her yet ... especially pjs. Going to have to go and do some lay-bying very soon I think!
Her naming day went well. Nice and simple with a few close friends and family. Could have done without the gale force wind though!
Anyway ... she just woke up (surprise surprise! Always when I'm trying to do something ... always the way isn't it!).
If I get time sometime during the week I will do some personals.
Beck
-
hi everyone, there were so many personals i realy don't think i can remember them..
lea - (or is it nat????) so glad that Em seems to be feeling better, poor little boy.
now i can remember all your posts and i do care, but i can't quite remmeber who said what and what your names are, so i'll just send a big hug to everyone!
OMG how bl@@dy hot has it been! We ended up sleeping over at friends house last night as our house was an oven, definately getting a/c next summer. So glad i wasn't pg last night i would have had a serious melt down. Archie was covered in grass rash yesterday, it has settled heaps now though, and his teeth seem to be annoying him again......
Enjoy your week at work and at home!
-
Leanne ~ Buggar!! I hope you’re feeling better soon babe!! Don’t feel bad about not doing personals!!! That’s an order ;) I hope things start to look better with your PND. I really wish I could help!
Tania ~ I have been showing Em how to clap for months pmsl! He just looks at me like I’m strange LOL. He’s not really drinking much water – he’s never really been a fan lol. I must admit he’s been drinking more then usual though which must be a good thing. That is a fantastic bargain as well! You go girl!
Beck ~ It is great to see you!!! Whoo hoo for Jovi being so close to walking! Em still isn’t standing unaided. He never stops long enough to concentrate LOL. I know what you mean about winter clothes. Em doesn’t need them at all here – its been 40 degrees lol but I can’t wait to do some lay-bying for him!!
Elissa ~ Its Natalea… so lea or nat hehe! It is way too hot – I am grateful for the cool change that came in tonight.
I can’t believe I have worked for 2 days and managed to post both days LOL. Em is doing better now though he still has watery nappies. His routine is a bit out of whack as well. Hopefully we’ll fix that over the next few days though. I bought Em some new jumpsuits today at the bargain price of $2.50!! They were size 0 though…. He is getting so big now! We stayed up till 2 in the morning watching Heroes – it is fantastic and I love it!!
Em is playing on the floor right now and I’m just waiting for him to sleep so I may go and cruise the forums.
Night girls!

Hi girls....
Little Miss Phoebe still isn't crawling properly, still doing the commando style....but loves to stand (aided), she giggles and chuckles. Sometimes she is on her elbows and knees and then tries to stand, but can't so just manoevres (sp?) around like that...quite funny and looks terribly uncomfortable. As Nat has said, it has been sooooo hot here. I just let Phoebe get around with just a nappy on, but she now has carpet burn on her tummy.
No luck with the house hunting, we are now under 2 weeks to find something. Hoping that tomorrow I will have some good news....fingers crossed.
Started at Tafe this week, it was great and I keep thinking to myself...why? didn't I do this earlier. Start back at work week after next. Just doing thursday and friday nights. DH will be home to look after the little ones, so no worries there.
Hope everyone has a good week....I promise I will be back to do personals soon!!!
-
A quick good morning before I get ready for work.
Leanne- hope you are feeling better, please take care of yourself (and make DH take care of you too) my PND gets worse when I am overtired or have too much on my plate. I hope you do take today off to rest. I am going to see a psychologist soon as I have never had much counselling only medication so hopefully she will help. Do you have someone to talk to?
Kim- hope work was quiet for you! hope Darcy made Cam earn his money LOL!
Nat- glad Em is getting much better, hope it continues. Sorry to hear about the heat, its not been too bad here.
Elissa- hope Archies' grass rash has gone, glad you could go somewhere cool to sleep. I hate trying to sleep in the heat. When we first moved to Darwin we used to set our bedroom air-con to 19 degrees so we could sleep with the doona on!! (Until we got our electricity bill LOL) At least Adelaide is fairly dry heat isn't it?
Mummy 4- hope you find a house soon, are you renting? We had to move befroe Christmas and its such a pain, there never seems to be much around to rent when ever we have to move!
Alison- thinking of you today, remember 1st term is always the worst, it WILL get better.
I have run out of time so hello to everyone I have missed, better wake up DDs and start the drama!!! Have a great day girls and babies.
-
mummy4life - goodluck with the house hunting, hope you find something very soon!
christine - yeah i think our heat would be much easier to cope with than Darwin.
OH what a relief, it is so nice and cool today! I had forgotten what it felt like to wear socks and trackies! Just made an Orange and poppyseed cake, mmmmm waiting for it to cool down so i can ice it and eat it, yum yum.
-
morning all just got ryan to go down for a nap i have been trying since 8 am his got a cold or maybe it just teeth but the poor little mites nose is running like a tap Yuk you should see the little bruises starting to appear on my boys knees just cause he has taken his first steps doesn't mean his ready to run marathons he has crashed so many times this morning cause he was so tired
-
Darcy has been weird lately. She's so tired (probably cos she's a cyclone and uses all her available energy), but she used to have a pattern and lately it's gone. She's had to sleep with us the last two nights. She had a really yuk nappy Saturday night and an awful red bum, but that's gone now. Eats sometimes (is normally great), feeds well sometimes but other doesn't, hasn't woken at night for a feed since before christmas, but now sometimes that's the only way she'll settle :dunno: Could my milk be drying out??? Bit worried.
Very tired today. It got hot quite early so that makes it hard. Then we went swimming with MG. I wanted to have a snooze with Darc before the counsellor gets here at 2, but my mum came and picked some stuff up, so that was out. Now I have to do the groceries cos we don't even have some marg for toast lol. These nights are killing me. Now Cam has been subpoeneaed to Supreme Court for an appeal against a big conviction, so now we have that and a police integrity commision trial to look forward to (He was on that cruise where Dianne Brimble died). Who would do this bloody job?
Poor Ryan. lol. They do think they are invicnable don't they. Darcy has figured out when you fall it's really not that bad, so she's climbing over and under stuff, and people nearly have a heart attack when she crashes over whatever it is she's trying to overcome.
Lol Karen I thought you had moved ages ago. Poor Phoebe with her carpet burn.
Leanne. Love. I so get you and I don't work as much as you. You know hwere I am.
Vic, did adam have a play in the little kids section? I took Darcy a few weeks ago and she loved it. Happy Birthday Hayley.
-
shazz - poor ryan, hope he feels better after his sleep. Archie's legs and head are covered in bruises too, they just always want to go faster than their little bodies can take them don't they?!
Im feeling a bit yuck ATM, think its just IBS i had Domionos pizza last night and i always have IBS after that, i never learn though of course.
Better go hang another load of washing out...
kim - you poor thing, i don't hve ny suggestions other than to tell you that Archie hasn't been the best sleeper lately either. We have been resorting to taking him for a walk in the pram to get him to sleep sometimes and he has been geting up earlier than usual. I don't know whats causing it maybe hot weather, teething, who knows. I hope Darcy settles down to a nice routine soon.
-
Hey Kim, a kid from my last school's dad was on the forensic team who went to that ship after Dianne Brimble thing happened. He has to go to court too and his wife said it dragged on for ages.
Riley is driving me nuts atm he is so whingy and tries to get onto his tummy to crawl but just lays there and cries when he does. DH has gone to have a nap now- poor dear while I deal with homework, whingy baby and trying to cook.

Got some cool news. The place where we got our wedding photos done have written to us asking to include some of our photos in their 'dream wedding' album. I just need to write a little speil and send it back. THey're giving us a shoot and photo voucher in return. Really looking forward to seeing it.
-
Cool Kim
we having family photos done next week i can't wait i love photo of the kids Just don't like them of myself
-
Thats great Kim, my brother is a professional photographer but I still don't have good photos of all 3 kids I must get organised.
Leanne and Kim- is the Regatta centre nice and is there shaded areas or seating? Jess has a triathlon there on Friday and I am trying to decide whether to drag Riley all the way out there to watch!
-
The regatta centre is nice, and there are trees and a bit of stadium seating and a few sheltered areas. If it's not too hot its nice.....
I am about to go to bed. Feeling a bit better today. One blocked nostril though, how annoying!!!. Kaitlyn seems to be getting better with the new medication, but is still really off her food. Is taking bottles though so that's all I am really worried about.
Thanx everyone for your kind wishes and for thinking about me.
-
Nat: Jayden has always loved clapping hands, he giggles so much when I used to show him….whereas my niece (just turned 1) has only just learnt how to do it herself. I could imagine you showing Em and him looking like “What the???” If Jayden doesn’t drink water I give him juice but that’s not going to help Em if he has watery nappies. Well done on getting on 2 days in a row haha and on your bargin!! I’ll email you some pics of Jayden in his suit soon…..I’m so slack with his website haha
Karen: Good luck in finding a house….2 weeks isn’t long, have you got a few in mind? Hows Phoebe’s teeth coming along? Jayden still doesn’t have any but he has the worst nappy rash ATM its raised off his skin IYKWIM, his nose is running and his drool seems to be thicker!! Hope your enjoying TAFE, and good luck for your first day back at work
Vic: Happy Birthday Hayley!! Great to hear they had fun! Jayden has been playing up at night too, he woke at 3am this morning…luckily that has been the only night he has woken up but he has been very difficult to get to sleep at night since we have been in Melb
Elissa: MMMM Orange and poppyseed cake sounds good….how did it taste? I hope your feeling better….that’ll teach you LOL.
Shazz: Sounds like teeth....I hope it clears up soon. Jayden got a nice bruise on his forehead when we were at SIL #5’s (Buderim) a few weeks ago he nearly fell off the bed but banged his head into the side table…..poor little thing.
Kim: Hope you get a good sleep tonight and tomorrow….I hate when I want a nap and someone comes over. Your milk may not be drying up, Darcy is probably going through a growth spurt, or teething….as Vic said a lot of the babies seem to be going through the same thing. How cool with the photo’s…..it must have been a gorgeous wedding!! Voucher would be good you can get a family pic or even just one of you and Darcy……Or 3 generations your mum, you and Darcy.
Leanne: Don’t ya hate blocked noses!!! That’s almost the only thing that will stop me from sleeping…it drives me insane…..and after like 2 days I forget what its like to breath normally and can’t imagine being able to ever again hahaha
I got a LeapPad Little Touch learning system off Ebay a couple of weeks ago for $53 (RRP $80) and it came with 2 books (RRP $25) then I was shopping at BigW and found “Guess How Much I Love You” (for those who remember it’s the book we got for Sheree) in the LeapPad range for only $10!! I love bargins hahaha. I love the learning system but I think Jayden is still a bit too young for it he doesn’t stay still long enough to read a whole book yet haha
Well this turned out to be a huge post, I better go to bed….although I get to sleep in tomorrow morning as Jayden has his check up in the morning….can’t wait to see how much he weighs….he’s getting too heavy for me hehe
Nighty night all

Hi Girls....
Thanks for all Good wishes for our house hunting....I was hoping to get some good news today about some applications we have put in, but NO. Did get some good news though....well good news for us, not so much the landlord. The sale of the house has fallen through, so we have some extra time up our sleeves. At this stage, at least until the end of march. God that news has definately taken a load off. I said to DH that, that doesn't mean we can slack off. There is still plenty to do, and we still need to keep looking for a house. We have a habit of leaving everything to the last minute. Procrastination is my enemy.(lol)
Kim ~ that sounds excellent @ having some of your wedding pics included in the 'dream wedding album'.
Tania ~ Phoebe's teething??? what a joke. I have lost count at home many times that I THOUGHT they were going to make an appearance. DS had 8 at the same age and she has not even one. Gotta love those bargains, LeapPad are wonderful . I haven't been into Big W in such a long time. I'm hanging out for some cooler weather and then start thinking about getting little miss some winter clothes. I love shopping for her.
Leanne ~ Good to hear that you and Kaitlyn are feeling better. Thinking of you both.
Shazz ~ I'm with you on the family photo thing. Love pics of the kids, but ones with me in it....no thanks. I spoil them everytime. (lol)
Nite Nite. X

Morning girls,
Well i started my orientation week at uni yesterday and it almost killed me. The first class i had was an overiew and then we went with 2 Mentors so show us around the nursing sciences building and the rest of the campus. We walked around and stood around for an hour an a half and my hips and back were killing me. I was in so much pain. I sat down when i could but we were on the move so much that was'nt very often. It was good overall though. I got my timetable and i am going too be at uni 4 days a week and not 2 like i originally thought which has worried me a bit. Now i have to worry about who is going to watch Briley now.
We are both good. I am still getting sick in the mornings. Probably cause i am not eating like i should be. Naughty me!
Anyhoo...got some uni stuff to sort at the mo.
BBL for personals.
-
Tannis - great to get a bargain isn't it. the cake doesn't taste that great but it has cured my sweet cravings
mummy4life - great news about the house, you sound like us we always leave everything to the last minute, i don't think we will ever be very organised people.
sara - you must have been buggered by the end of the day! Hope you get Briley's care sorted out alright. You sound as bad as me not eating enough and feeling sick, i think we each need a personal chef 24/7, i don't mind eating i just hate cooking.
OMG Archie is into EVERYTHING!!!! He is going to run me ragged when i am pg again. We are ttc#2 starting today, woohoo!
-
Just really quickly,
Tanya, if you read this today, that sounds like thrush rash. Darcy's had it a couple of times. And if his saliva's thicker does he have any white bits in his mouth? Might be there too. I swear by hydrazole cream for their bottom. It will clear it by this arvie if it is.
Christine - exactly what Leanne said.
Off to have a nap while the Dargon's out cold. BBL.
-
hi everyone geez it is quiet in here hope your all well
-
Its very quiet in here, hope things are OK for you Shazz.
Not sure whether to drive out to Penrith on Friday, the good mother part of me should make the effort but the bad mother thinks its a bl**dy long way to watch her run for a bit! Will see which mother wins on Friday morning LOL
Thank goodness today is my friday, I have a planning 1/2 day so someone else gets the pleasure of my class' company until 12 but tonight is "Meet the teacher night" which I loathe. We have to stand up in front of all these parents and talk about what we are doing for the year- for 40 minutes! Then they all go away and compare notes and b*tch behind our backs LOL(no thats just me being paranoid but it happens a bit)
BBL for personals have a good day everyone
-
wow so quiet.
christine - gosh 40 mins is a long time to talk isn't it? especially to a bunch of b!tchy parents. im sure you'll do a good job, at least you only have to do it once a year.
shazz - hope things are looking up in your world, big hug.
i am about to go and do the internet banking for the week, how depressing....at least we don't have a huge stack of bills this week for the first time in years!
-
Morning all, another reasonably quiet night. Thank goodness. Excited to be going back to the gym this week. Managed to score 4 free personal training sessions too.
Darcy's currently and hour and a half overdue for a feed and man I'm feeling it....never thought I'd say I wish she'd wake up.
Forgot to ask the other day Vic, what shampoo do you use???
-
I worked out this morning,, that after Darcy wanted to get up at 3.30 yesterday morning I managed to be awake 28hours. i didn't get either sleep I tired to have yesterday  no wonder I'm a bit of a mess.....
-
Boy I missed a lot over the last two days!! I will try and catch up – sorry in advance about the big post! ;)
Mummy4Life ~ I hope you find a place soon!!! Great to hear that you love Tafe and its going well. GL going back to work. Are you going back to Gawler? At least you have some more time up your sleeve. Its not easy finding a rental around here now. I want to head into BigW and do a big winter shop as well but I may just wait and see. I am the same with Em’s teeth… I swear he’s getting them almost every week! The problem is that I can actually see them below the gums… they just won’t cut through arghhh!
Christine ~ You talking about Darwin made me laugh – Saturday night we had the air con on and I grabbed a blanket because it gets cold but when you turn it off its really stuffy LOL – a few hours later G wanted to share the blanket. We did for a bout 5 minutes before we ****ed ourselves laughing realizing we were shivering under a blanket on a 40 degree day!!! Needless to say we turned it off after that… and then back on again a few hours later hehe! Sounds like you have a fun night tonight you poor thing!
Vic ~ Arghhh @ the bed wetting and the rain! Bad combination! Happy birthday to Hayley! Sounds as though she had a great time.
Shazz ~ LOL @ Ryan not being able to run yet! Its still exciting he’s taking steps though!
Elissa ~ I used to eat these gorgeous orange and poppyseed muffins at work when I worked in Adelaide. They were great!! Enjoy your cake!
Kim ~ I hope you sort out Darcy’s routine soon! OMG @ being up that long! I don’t know how you manage it! That is fantastic news about being in their dream wedding album!! Congrats!
Tania ~ I am extremely slack with my website these days. So much so that I think it has expired LOL! I’m going to get those Learning LeapPad thingos for Em when he’s old enough. I might even ask someone to get it for his first birthday!
Sara ~ I started my uni yesterday as well and had the same sort of tour around my campus – my feet were hurting at the end of it!! Buggar at your timetable being 4 days instead of 2. I am there twice a week for a 4 hours one day and 2 hours the next. In the last 6 weeks I also have a full day of prac teaching on Thursday and then in the final week I have 7 days in a row :o (Thursday/Friday of one week and then the whole next week!)
I am very much enjoying my day at home after working for 3 days and then being at uni for one. I found out yesterday that 2 of my courses are actually intensive mode. Which means they are crammed into 6 weeks! So I do Arts for the first 6 weeks and then have 2 weeks off and have PAR for the next 6 weeks – which is teaching pracs. I am very excited to get started – just a little nervous as well because I want to do really well and I’m not sure how I’ll cope juggling it all IYKWIM. I already have reading and stuff to do before my lectures next week!
I just gave Em a bag full of stuff to play with. He loves emptying bags of their contents and he is totally enthralled with it all hehe!!

Evening Shazz. How's your cyclone going with the walking?
Mine gave me a fat lip tonight, but she banged her head so hard on my face that there's a bruise in the corner of her eye lol. 9 months old and a black eye. Great mother I am.
I have finally finished all my jobs (well the ones I'm going to do anyway) and am just having a bit if r&r before I head to bed. It's so much nicer when she doesn't fight.
-
hiya kim are you going to be on msn at all tonight ???
-
hi everyone
lea - it sounds like you are doing an awesome job juggling Em, work and uni, a huge pat ont he back to you!
kim - ur not the only bad mother, for about a week Archie had a swollen eye every day from being so clumsy, thankfully he is gettting a bit less clumsy now...hope you have a good nights rest tonight!
i had the car today, usually DH takes it to wok, so it was a bit of a novelty to be ablet o just leave the house whenever i wanted to, i can't believe how much difference it makes to my confidence and mood to just get out during the day! We are now planning on getting a second car for DH to use as a work car, woohoo freedom at last!!!
-
Hi Vic oooooh so jealous photo shop course i would love to do that ... Ryan is gaining more and more confidence every day he has now learnt that if he pushes things over to the lounge and then he can use them to climb higher and higher oh lucky me and he literally tries to run everywhere wheres the cement shoes when you need them
-
Parent teacher thing went OK, glad its over though! Had a terrible day but I'll go ino it in the morning. Kim I hope you are sleeping now, I would prob. commit a crime with a deadly weapon if I hadn't slept for that long.
Vic- hate those fake teacher voices, usually its only older teachers that do it, I used to put one on to amuse my Yr6s when kindies came into the room!
Absolutely wrecked so going to bed now, BB in the morning.
-
just popping in to say hi.
"HI"
Off to hang a load of washing, get lunches ready and go to bed
-
For doing nothing all day I sure am tired LOL!
Tomorrow Em is in CC again :( I'm not happy with the third day a week. Not only is it costing me more but it was extra time I didn't want to spend away from him. Oh well I suppose it will be worth in in the long run.
Kim ~ OMG @ Darcy giving you a fat lip and her a bruise! That was one hard hit lol!
Shazz ~ Awwww @ the climbing Ryan!! How cute!!
Leanne ~ HI!
Christine ~ Glad to hear it went well!
Vic ~ You crack me up girl :cryinglaugh: I must remember to never use that voice. Glad to hear you are enjoying the photoshop class. I am jealous of that as well! Uni is about a 25 minute drive for me. I forgot how much I hate peak hour traffic! I must remember to take the back way from now on!!
Elissa ~ That is fantastic news about getting a second car! I have to admit I couldn't live without my car! I'd go nuts!!
I thought I would just quickly post before going to watch Prison Break. I could iron whilst I watch TV or I could do the dishes in the ads and tidy up BUT I'm going to continue the laziness and do nothing at all LOL.
Night girls!
-
I need some expert motherly advice.
We've been invited to a wedding at the end of April which is nearly a 2 hour drive away from here. Katy of course has not been invited. What do you do.... do you go and get someone to look after her for the Saturday night, or do you send your apologies? It's one of my DH's cousins getting married, who we see maybe once or twice a year at family gatherings at the most.
I am of two minds about it.
-
Hi Girls….This must be a record for me being able to get on the computer so often lately!! I must be managing my time better haha. Jayden’s check up yesterday went well, he is now 9.75kg and 71cm tall.
Karen: That is great that you have more time, unfortunately we are a very unorganized too. Chris and I have been engaged for OMG I can’t even remember how long LOL but neither of us can be bothered organizing the wedding!! I have almost given up hope with Jayden’s teeth too…..all his school photos will have his gummy smile haha. I always wanted a girl for the shopping side of things but I am having fun with shopping for a boy…the only thing is he won’t have the same appreciation of shopping as I do when he gets older haha
Sara: I hope Uni eases up for you!! A few of my friends who are PG with their 2nd have all said their MS is worse this time round compared to the first, I wonder why that is…..maybe because your more run down with having another one to look after?? The first time round you could rest when you needed to….I’ll have to wait my turn to find out haha. I hope the MS gets better soon though!
Elissa: I’m always shopping and finding great bargains…. I can’t say no haha but I have decided that no matter how great the sale is I have to learn to save so I can get the bigger house and not have to work etc……I think if I didn’t shop as much while I was on leave I wouldn’t have had to go back so early haha. Good luck with TTC, I hope it doesn’t take too long!! Yay on getting another car…..I was without a car for 3 mths when I first moved to Bundy and Chris was still in Melb…..it drove me insane, every day I was on the phone to him to get him to put money in my account so I could buy one haha
Kim: Funny you mention thrush because that is exactly what the CHN said it could be (she wasn’t 100%). It had calmed down a little but he has had it for about a week I think so I went and got some cream. They didn’t have Hydrozole, so she gave me Daktozin which she said was the only baby specific one they carry. We’ll give it a go and if not I’ll look around town for Hydrozole. We checked his mouth which seemed to be all clear
Christine: “Meet the teacher” night doesn’t seem so fun….do many parents turn up? Do you have to talk for 40mins or is that including if parents have questions etc….do you get interval? Hahaha
Nat: Jayden’s site nearly expired but I changed a photo to keep it going but I still have to update all his photos. The learning system I got is meant from 6mth-36mths but with paper pages I think it’s a bit pointless at his age….its good for story time though. Its amazing how we learn to cope with a busy schedule. I thought I could never handle FT work and Jayden and although its hard again since I got back from holidays I know I will be able to cope because I have to. Have fun watching PB and relaxing….sounds like you deserve it!!
Vic: I don’t think I would take her either, way too many kids….could you imagine the noise? How far away from Buderim are you? We went to some fish n chip shop near underwater world are you near there?
Shazz: Good luck with a climber…..I’m hoping Jayden doesn’t figure he can do that haha
Leanne: Personally I wouldn’t go if its someone you don’t really see often. Unless you want to have a baby free night of course. The wedding we went to, Jayden was invited and he was an angel all night esp during the ceremony (thank god!!) One of my friends however wanted a baby free night (her daughter is 5mths old), not sure who she left her with though. Basically depends if you want Katy to have a sleep over or not
OMG its nearly 10pm…I better go to bed!! Any other updates I’ll do tomorrow and hi to everyone I missed.
Nighty night
