Hi to everyone else. Not much happening here. Cooper is in bed, DH is at work and I should be planning my week for school but I cant get motivated. I was supposed to start my mid year reports this weekend but I brought the wrong folder home...damn shame!!!

I've had a great day so I'm a bit pumped and can't sleep! I went shopping like I said I was going to and I got some great stuff! I'm so happy! I got a pair of gorgeous skinny leg jeans that are soooo comfy, a pair of white flats, a grey knit cardigan, a grey & black striped jumper with scarfe, a long green cargo-y type skirt and a really soft long cream skirt. Had a bit of a fashion parade tonight and it all goes with so much in my wardrobe so I purchased really well. I am also the highest bidder on 3 pairs of boots on Ebay right now. Fingers crossed I win them because they are just stunning and will go perfectly with my new jeans!!! I'm just really disappointed that I have to work tomorrow because I can't wear any of my new stuff LOL.
I had my folks over tonight for dinner. It was lots of fun and Em got some more cute presents which he of course loves. I arranged for my step-mum to watch him whilst I'm at uni next week which I'm a tad nervous about. I'm sure he'll be fine though. I am gonna miss the little tacker sooooo much when I'm working all those days!!!
Tonight Em slipped in the bath onto a bath toy and got a fat lip! I wasn't too worried at first and then the blood came He seems to be fine though - just a charming fat lip is all!
Sheree ~ Whoo hoo for the new ticker!!! How exciting that you are TTC #2!!! I am so happy for you!! He still is a tiny bub eh? Em is still not 11 kgs so there's at least 2 kgs difference. Lachie must be like a gorgeous walking doll!

Well, I was bored tonight and started reading the June 07 one, and I got soooo clucky for another baby. Their excitement and impatience lol...brings back so many nice memories.
Then...silly me went and read the miscarriage and loss section and bawled my eyes out...why do I go there??? It always terrifies me to have another child. Such sad stories.
lol Alison I am the same! I can't read threads like that because I just cry my heart out. And just seeing a pregnant belly or a newborn makes me crazy clucky LOL so I am so not going into that 07 thread!!
Though I did start the Babies Born in May 07 thread the other day and got all nostalgic... where has the time gone?!?! I remember us all sharing our woeful tales of morning sickness and now we're celebrating first birthdays!!
9 minutes till my first Ebay auction ends leaving me (hopefully) the winner!!!!
Well i ended up going to the party....and totally regretted it overnight. Briley played up a little bit at the party but once we bathed her and put her down to sleep she crashed straight away. Then at about 8.45pm she woke up crying and would'nt go back down so i decided to go back to where we were staying the night. She went straight back to sleep when we got her into her porta-cot.
So 11.45pm comes and she wakes up crying again and on it went all night. She was waking every 20-30mins till she finally got up at 6.45am thismorning. I am so tired. At one stage i coated her gums in Bongella and she went back to sleep for half and hour but woke up again. Later on i heard her do a little fart so i think she might have had bad wind.
When i opened my eyes to her thismorning i could see the poo straight away. She had it everywhere. On her finger, her singlet, feet, toes....EVERYWHERE!!! So whatever she ate yesterday must have been upsetting her stomach overnight and out it all came thismorning!! EWWWWW.
Although tired, she is pretty much fine today. Because we travelled back from Ayr thismorning she did'nt sleep so now she has crashed! I really should take the opportunity to have a nap myself.

Nat - I need to start treating myself to shopping spree's like that! Only there is no point in me buying stuff now! Maybe after the baby is born. Would you care to send some of you energy up this way!!!! I really need it.
Alison - I try and avoid those thread but i have been in them quite a few times. I always end up bawling. I count myself very lucky that i don't have to go through it again. Once is enough. So....when are you and Tony going to start TTC again???
Vic - I hear you! But sometimes at the time i feel like going out but when i have left home and am out i totally regret it and just want to be at home. I had that feeling lastnight. It seems to be getting worse the further i get in my pregnancy too! It was good to see everyone though.

Lastnight there was this girl at the party that i have known through my family for a long time. She had a baby girl a week ago and is totally regretting it. She did'nt say that exactly but she kept saying she did'nt like having a baby when people asked her how it was all going. I thought it was so selfish. She is normally a real pot head and drinker and because she is breastfeeding could'nt get on it with everyone else lastnight. Mind you the baby is very small cause she carried on all her party activities whilst pregnant!
This might sound terrible and very over the top, but i was really scared that she might hurt the baby lastnight cause she kept crying. Not that i saw anything to suggest this but i just had a terrible feeling that she might be resentful towards the baby for crying and taking her away from the party. I really hope it does'nt turn out like that.
Anyways....
I think i might go and start planning my birth plan. Did any of you have one last year???? I did'nt but i was thinking about doing one. That and packing my bags. When do you guys do that?? I can't remember with Briley! My brain has totally gone to mush lately!
Ah Sara, I was very much like you last night. I just would rather have been at home. Darcy wouldn't go to sleep until we got back to the motel at midnight......that's awful about that girl. There are a couple of things you can do if you think that baby might be at risk. Send me an email if you want.
I didn't pack my bags until about 36wks but I'm slack and was only half packed when I had her anyway - DH had to do it. Birth plan - nope didn't have one either.

nat - oooo your clothes sound great, u lucky thing! Poor Ems fat lip, it must be the week for them Archie's went away after 2 days they heal really quickly thank goodness. Archie had Pyloric Stenosis (where basically the milk couldn't get much further than the stomach due to muscle thickness so he stored milk in his tummy then would projectile constantly for 12 hours) it is fairly common in first born boys and is often hereditary (but not in our case), it was a straight forward op but he has had servere reflux ever since. We just feel extremely lucky that we live in these times where so much technology is available!
alison - totally agree with you about the threads, i used to belong to the pg after m/c thread and i haven't been in there for ages cause it scares me alot too, but after 12 months of our precious babies i have come to realise that going through all that pain is worth it if you eventually get a healthy baby in the end
sara - poor briley she must have been feeling horrible, at lest shes getting a rest now though. i think i packed my bags about 37 weeks, no need though, arch certainly was in no hurry!

Archie stayed at his nana's last night and when we picked hm up this afternoon he showed us his new tricks, he now points to his nose, eyes, teeth, and hair when you ask him where they are!! its just incredible how much they can grow up over night! Well we got a bit drunk last night and our true feelings slipped out and we discovered that we both really want another bub, so we are ttc as of today!! Very exciting, now we just have to remember how to DTD he he.
Vic - There were so many times when i nearly piped up and asked her if she wanted a hand but i did'nt. I suppose i did'nt really want to intrude. I wish i had now. We all have to learn though i suppose.
Kim - I don't see the girl enough to be around to notice if things are getting nasty. Hopefully she realises how lucky she is to have a beautiful little baby and changes her attitude. I really hope so.

Well did'nt end up getting around to the Birth Plan. This might sound odd but i kinda feel bad about doing a birth plan. Kinda like i am trying to tell the dr's and midwifes how to do their job. Stupid i know as its MY birth but thats just how i am feeling. I'm still going to give it a go though.
Well i am off to watch Big Brother than go too bed i think. I am getting a Hot Spot on the middle of my tummy and it hurts. Hot shower should help. I hope!
Woke up again this morning with no voice. That's 3 days in a row - and no sign of it coming back! Not even a squeek out of me!!!
Shaun opened a couple of presents this morning - whilst Yariv was in bed. - then we got ready for the baby show at the shopping centre. Shaun won 3 sashes - but no trophies. Bit disappointing as he won 2 trophies last time . oh well.
Then headed to nan & pops to open more presents! And he had such a busy time there. No afternoon nap. My step mum made the most awesome Elmo cake and shaun loved it. (must load photos onto site soon). We decided to let shaun just go for it and eat it with his hands - as everyone was too full to eat any. He was a bit nervous at first, but then went for it - and ended up with red icing everywhere!!! Some great photos/video were taken. The baby wipes wouldn't remove the red colouring, so we had to give him a bath at Dads place - which he loved because we don't have a traditional bathtub at our place! And he got bath toys as a present too!! Came home, had a bottle and has completely died without a boo.
Hard to imagine it was a year ago that I was giving birth. It's gone so fast!!!
And he only opened two of his toys at our place - so he'll have to open the rest tomorrow!!
Shaun has had two teeth pop up in the last few days! so he has a total of 5 now. I should rename him Jaws because he's biting everyone!!
Sorry for lack of personals girls. I'm dog tired, and I really need to get some sleep if I am ever going to get over this cold!!!! I just wish I could pop some sudafed or some really good flu medication - but I can't!!! I feel like a martyr.
Well i managed to get a fairly decent sleep lastnight. Briley went to bed at about 7.15pm and slept through till some time before 12am. She went back to sleep till 5am and slept through till 8.30 thismorning. I feel fine if i can get a sleep in till 8 so Briley did well!
I am quite sore around the stomach and hips thismorning. I have noticed that when i get up to Briley at around 5am, i am really sore in the belly. Its either from the way i sleep, lack of belly support or i am stretching heaps during the night. Might have to try and get one of those belly support pillows.
Vic - Well i don't really have many friends with kids. I have a few but we are'nt all that close either. I have one mate, Michelle, and we are really close but i have'nt really thought about wether i like or don't like the way she parents. Rian is only 4 1/2 months too. The others i do have problems with the way the parent. Obviously i NEVER say anything to them cause its not my place but yeah i would do things differently.
Jodie - Sounds like Shaun had a blast of a day. 5 teeth already WOW!! Briley still only has the 2 but we def think there is some more on the way. I think it might be the canine. I wonder which takes the longest to come through??
Have you had your iron levels checked?? You might be like me and have low iron and therefore be sick heaps. I have had like 5 colds and coughs just this pregnancy. Its really horrible as it takes ages to get rid of them. Hope you feel better soon hun.
I spoke to Brent lastnight and he reckons he is coming home on wednesday. He is not due back till the 13 of June but he is sick of it out there. They ran out of water on saturday so he has'nt had a shower since then. Unless the got the water back up lastnight after i spoke to him. He was really cranky!
I want him too come home but i want him to stay out there for the money too. We are up to date with everything but the extra money is still nice. Its up to him though. Once he has made up his mind there is no changing it. He will call me tonight and let me know what he is going to do.
Not much planned for today. Might try and do some washing if the sun comes out. Don't know if its overcast or if the fog still has'nt gone down. Won't know till after 10am.
So it must be Toby's birthday next hey??? I wonder how Kellee is going.

hope you have all had good days we haven't but you get that when you have a one year old and they want everything their own way i'm hoping Ryan will give up early tonight cause i really need to sleep we only got about an hour last night after he decided that he wanted to ride the skate board like his big brother does it was cute for all of 2 seconds before it turned very ugly and he brought a kitchen chair down on top of himself ( i think he was recapping the moment and having night mares all night after that )

Sara ~ OMG @ all that poo!! How gross!! LOL. How disturbing about your kind of friend. I too hope it doesn’t turn out like that. My birth plan was a few dot points about wanting to breast feed and have skin to skin contact straight away. Not wanting pain relief, DP to cut cord etc etc.
Vic ~ First of all I don’t have 4 kids!!! I’d say that Sara does it harder as she seems more isolated then me. I have a lot of support. Good question. I haven’t noticed any of my friends parenting techniques *annoy* me so maybe we do parent similarly….? I will watch out for it lol.
