Must be windy everywhere Shazz, even out here West, geez it is blowin heaps!
Man oh man, I feel so nauseous and ordinary, feel like I want to be sick! Don't know what is wrong with me. I got AF 2 days early, so I couldn't be pregnant, but gee I certainly feel like I am! What the hell is going on?
shazz - lol at your wahing ending up in Brisbane, i just chucked a couple of loads through the dryer, way too windy and rainy here too. They do tend to get stuck like records don't they, its very cute hes talking well.
sheree - your body is certainly doing some strange things isn't it?! I hope it ll settles down for, do you think there is any possibility at all that you might be pg even though you got AF??
kim - Archie did the same thinglast night and i just thought he must have been having a bad dream, he has done the same thing a few times since his birthday, his facial expression and his cry were like when he was a newborn, really weird and takes them ages to snap out of it!
MIL just came for a visit, its okay though she only turns up here about once a month, we never have anything to talk about though so it is pretty boring, and i tend to watch the clock a lot he he. Archie is a crazy naghty boy again today woo hoo. DH only has 1 da to go til his holidays although he is working up in Adelaide for a few days of his holidays (as you do)
Well it's blowing a gale in Old Syney TOwn too!
Have you tested Sheree??
I've done some research and my cycles are way out cos of the depo injs. SO with a bit of luck they are sorting themselves out soon and I ge back on track. I'll keep temping though.
We had a Playschool Concer t this morning and then the BB meetup after. Riley is SO cute and Erin's such a lovely kid Christine!!! Darcy is sleeping with one shoe and sock cos that's all that was left after she screamed all the way home....we only got home half and hour ago. Your slice was beautiful....can you email me the recipe? Please?
buggar she's awake....
Yeah I tested today only because of the nausea and whoozy head, and nope a BFN, so guess I am just a bit off colour. I didn't really think I was pregnant, but geez that just didn't make sense either way really.
I had a nap with Lachlan and I feel a bit better.
Gosh how Jodie did the ms thing while looking after Shaun, she is a true champ. It has been one day for me and I am whinging already. Just felt awful!
which idiot just taught Darcy to dip her bickies in dip??? grr why did I do that?
Lol i didn't know you had Depo Kim no wonder your all out of whack it could be a while before things settle down when i had it i was told it would take up to 6 months before it has left your systom completely ( that is after the 3 months the injections last for )
Yet we're up to that six month mark now, so hoping things settle down soon...
Hi girls,
Just poppin in to say a quick hi.
All is well here. Still pregnant!! Went for antenatal app yesterday and everything seems fine. BP might be on the rise though. It was only 120/85 yesterday but my normal BP is 110/70. It did the same thing at the same time with Briley. Baby is really getting down low in there. I am now 4/5 in decent which is really good. I have decided not to take the laxatives this week now. I am still having a little trouble with constipation (sorry TMI!) and said i would start taking the laxatives again at 36 weeks. but after i spoke to the Dr yesterday i feel bad about it. The dr said that baby would still have a chance of going to the NICU if born now. So i don't want to risk things by irritating my uterus even more with the laxatives. I am getting enough prelabour symptoms to worry about at the moment!
Briley is pretty good. We have terrible nappy rash at the moment and are sleeping terribly at night though. Not really good for mummy. She woke up about 5-6 times lastnight. And had 3 bottles. I think her 2'nd top tooth might be trying to come through. She is sleeping beauty at the moment and will hopefully stay that way all night!
Not much else to report i don't think. I am very excited for those TTC'ers in here!! I really hope you all get the BFP soon!! Fingers crossed.
Hope you are all well. I do check up on everyone everyday.
Take Care!!
kim - dip getting messy, lol?? glad u enjoyed ur meetup i am VERY jealous!fingers crossed things settle down for you soon then...
sheree - sorry to here u got a BFN, its frustrating not knowing what is up with your body isn't it?! i agree, the thought of m/s and archie very nearly puts me off the idea of ever having another baby!
sara - great to hear from you! bubs is doing well being4/5 already, sorry to hear about the constipation, i bet you'll be right onto those laxatives as soon as that baby is born! Poor Briley (poor you more though!) hope she sleeps well tonight.
Braved the kmart toy sale tonight and made it out alive! Actually it wasn't bust at all thanks goodness aparently it was mad this morning! I bought Arch a Sesame Street car garage $60, it looks cool i reckon he'll get very excited by it and he loves cars, i can't wait to see him open it though! So thats xmas all sorted for us, its so cheap and easy when your kid doens't really get xmas yet! I think i have a UTI, got some Ural to take so should be right i reckon. Looks like i am spotting so am hopeful that AF will finally show up in the morning. Archie has had a rotten day of whinging and being angry and tonight he is really out of sorts, keeps waking up, he just skulled heaps of water it seems to have shut him up for the time being, fingers crossed he sleeps okay.
Thanks Elissa for responding about my BFN. Appears everyone else missed my post. Lol.
Hi Sara - glad you are still here, hold on bubba just a bit longer.
Hi ladies, finally got some time to post.
Kim- it was so great to meet you and Darcy finally, I would love to catch up again maybe you, me and Leanne one Saturday (with bubs and Erin to keep all the bubs amused) Riley slept for 2 hours when we got home, Erin was pretty trashed too after all that running around with Zander and Alex. My slice wasn't the malteser one it was the one on the white plate.
Sara- so glad you are OK and still pg bummer about the constipation, have you tried dried apricots or prunes?
Elissa- not sure if I want to brave the toy sales, Targets one starts on 19th July, haven't decided what Riley wants for Christmas yet ! He got soooo much stuff for his birthday.
Sheree, hope you are feeling better soon, its hard being unwell with a baby around. Shame about the BFN.
Better go Riley STINKS!!!
morning everyone
hope you are all well
sheree ~ bummer mate fingers crossed for next month
That's be cool Christine - I tired your slice too, it was the one I was referring to. Can you send it? Darcy was pretty trashed too (did I post that already). Frightening really how similar you Leanne and I are......
Shazz, I sent you an email last night (just in case you don't check that often...).
Sheree, I did miss it sorry. Thought it was the post of your's I'd already read. It's awful to see that BFN isn't it? Even though you've already talked yourself out of it there's always that little hope. Hope you're feeling better today.
DH got home last night and told me he'd been given a fantastic job for the up coming leader summit - only I'm not allowed to tell anyone what it is due to the security risk...I was so excited for him. He didn't quite understand it's importance until I started acting like an idiot. I'm so proud he was chosen specifically for the job :D
Off to tidy up the cyclone that has passed through my house.
Have a great weekend all....
It's finally the weekend
YAY!!!
BBL for a bigger chat.
Hi everyone.
That slice is soo easy Kim, we call it Sarah's mum's friend's slice! (cause its from my friend Sarahs mums friend!! LOL) All you do is crush a pkt of nice biscuits (nice as in neice) mix with 145g melted butter and press into a slice tin. Top with (in this order) 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 1 cup choc bits, 1 cup coconut and a tin of condensed milk. Bake at 150 for about 20-30 minutes. Chill before serving as it crumbles. Its a favourite of the people at school too.
I would love to meet Leanne too i think we will be similar, I felt that about you and I.
I'd love to meet you too Christine. And I can feel the kilos coming just reading your recipe! Yummmmmo.....
Katy's a proper pain the preverbial butt this evening. Won't eat, won't drink, won't sit, won't not sit. Grr
Tired I guess - as aren't we all on a Friday nite?
DH's bathing her and I am supposed to be pegging the washing, but thought I'd pop in again.
Have I told you
It's the weekend....
YAY!!!!
Two days of no work. (well paid work anyway)
YAY!!!!
Me think me crazy.
kim - well done to your Dh on the special job! that cyclone passed through my house today too!
leanne - ill have a cheer for ou for the weekend 'YAY', there you go, i don't reckon your crazy, just worn out! Enjoy your weekend
Dh got to come home early today so it was great to spend some family time, Archie loved it. Looks like his eye teeth are on the move, that must be what is making him so irritable lately. Af finally arrived today so that makes it a 38 day cycle, heres hoping its a little shorter this month! Might put my cycle lengths in my sig to keep track of them. Hope everyone enjoys their weekends.
Kim- forgot to say how exciting about Cam's job!! I told DH i think he is personally guarding George W!! ( not knowing makes it more fun!)
Leanne- if you eat that slice standing up it has no calories! Erin has eaten about 10 pieces of it! She did most of the making of it actually.
Its the end of the first week of the holidays, I really could handle a few more weeks instead of only one but I guess holidays every 10 weeks is pretty good.
Riley has been great today, just a delight which has been so lovely. he went to bed at 7.20pm which is good too LOL.
kim ~ just replied to your email yeah i don't check that to often lazy cow that i am ..
ETA YAY cam welll done
Leanne ~ yay for being the weekend yay yay yay
Christine, George W brings his owner security and drivers....but close....
Leanne I don't know how you do full time. Is your house still standing? I've had enough of day shifts now - let me work overnight any time.
My WE means going out with the ILs so it doesn't count as days off. Though for the first time in the whole time I've been with Cam they've actually told us they'll pay.
And guess what I just spent a friday night doing? TAX! When did i get this life? lol.
Haha Vic, that'll be me.....
Hey Sheree, you know you wanted a house with a door? THe FP one does have a door and a doorbell....It's in the Kmart catalogue.
Yeah Kim but it is only a one face door and you more or less have to crawl into it don't you? I am wanting one that has walls all the way around with no roof at all and the walls go up to the toddler's waste. It is a more of a toy for him to open and close the door and go in and out of. I actually ended up getting a cubby house out of the big w catalogue's toy sale. It has a roof, but the only reason why i didn't want the roof as all those type of cubby house's are so expensive and I didn't want to spend anymore then $100. This one I got is just over $100. But seeing as I am 3 hours away from any of these toy sales, I got a friend to go and put it on layby for me.
That sounds good Sheree! I might have to check it out!!!
hi everybody
hope you've had a good weekend so far
tax time sucks i hat this time of year i always get my hopes up thinking we will get some serious $$ back but not very often do we well i have decided that all my baby boy gear is going on ebay in the next few weeks how depressing
Oh the Big W Toy Sale.
We went and had a look on Thursday night (not intending to buy anything) and the line for layby was three hours long. It went half way around the store. You know the one at Penrith Kim. Unbelieveable.
We thought it was hilarious though. So many people in the line with trolley full to the brim with their little kids in tow. What a pain for them eh.
And so many discarded full trolleys. People must have gotten sick of waiting i'd say.
Well today I took my mum out to give both her and dad a break from each other. With dad being sick they are in each others pockets pretty much 24 / 7.
Had a good day.
Bought some fabric to finish off a quilt and a few little presents for people who's b'days are coming up.
Katy did not want to eat or drink all day and probably tmi but her pooh was yellow. Like custard. So pale too. Does that sound normal? Might just put it down to teething? Or could it be something else. Stunk too. Like pooh ususally does stink (der Leanne), but this was really bad...
Guess what? I think I am allowed to say now. I am going to be an auntie again. My little SIL is 11 weeks. My other SIL is about to pop any minute, so there's a few little ones on the way....
Sheree what you are describing sounds like a play pen with an escape hatch..... :)
Kim - sometimes I don't know how I cope working f/time. It is bloodie hard. But, we try to have some sort of routine and stick to it. Some nights I get home and just want to flake out, but I know I can't cause then I have to put my mummy hat on and keep going. By the time we get to bed it's about 10:30 - 11:00, and then the alarm goes off at 5.15 and it all starts again. The house is still standing. Maybe it is the layer of dust that keeps it up! Someone commented to me once that I am only a part time mum having Katy at school full time. Really upset me. Does anyone here think that?
leanne ~ No absolutely Not i do not think you are a part time mum how friggin rude to say that to anybody as parents we do what we have to do to make a life for our children in regards to having a roof over ones head and food in their tummy's i HAD to work when my elder 2 were little so i know only to well what your going through it is hard yakker and your doing a fab job don't let anyone tell you other wise
What a terrible comment Leanne, you are a full time worker and a full time mum, FFS does that mean when your kids go to school you are only a part time mum?? I worked full time from when Jess was 7 months and it was incredibly hard, you are doing a fabulous job ignore idiots.
morning every one well we just got up what a novelty ... my back is killing me now from lying down to long oh i so can't win what are you all up to today ?
Just housework today Shazz. Nothing exciting. Katy's into the bin every other minute so she's had three little smacks. Wants the used cotton buds. What the?
My back sore today too. Did it in a couple of months ago and is playing up again. AF about to visit so that also might contribute.
BBL.... I hear the bin again.
Grr
Riley loves the bin too Leanne. Erin and her friend once started eating used teabags out of the bin at this age! I had a bad night with Riley- all snotty but has a nap from 9.15-11am and he is still asleep!
She keeps going for the used cotton buds. Gross.
Needless to say the bin is now on top of the bench, as I could only say No, Yuk, Naughty etc so many times, and I don't want to smack her too much.
Bit quiet in here today.
Afternoon all.
Been away at mum's for the night and got a reprieve from the iLs today - we think they had a domestic or spent all the money they were going to take us out with - who cares didn't have to go anyway.
I think I'm going to wait unti Thursday to go to Big W. I can't see the sense in waiting all that time in a line to save $25.... There is some stuff I want to get though. I have a mission to be finished Christie shopping before October. The weather is so blah here today and guess what...AF again!! another 10day cycle. Do you reckon there's anything I cna do or just wait it out?
bugger Kim that totally sucks maybe go to your gp and just query getting a medical opinion can't hurt
yeah, might make an appointment tomorrow....
yeah I'd go see about that Kim, it can't be doing you any good having AF that often, you might be anaemic too after all that blood loss.
Hi Girls...
Just popping my head in quickly to say hi. I'm still in the land of the living... but no time to scratch myself at the moment.
Sorry in advance for no personals.... will try during the week...
It's dark here - and that is not going to stop me from continuing with my gardening! Yariv & I have been stuck in the garden all weekend. On Saturday we did the front yard... pulling out small trees/weeding/pruning... and today we worked on the backyard. We've done two trips to the tip to get rid of all the cuttings - and there is still heaps left! And boy, am I aching!!!! Had a bath last night... and there is another one tonight I'm sure!
We've also been cleaning up the house and finishing off all the little reno's (touching up paint, filling in cracks etc. I am soooo sick of it!!! But if all goes well, we should get it on the market next week. Then I have to keep the house clean 24/7. I have to check with the bank about the loan offer though. They said we have to sell our house before they give us a loan - but now I'm wondering if that means when it sells (say at auction) or when it settles and the $$ change hands (???????). If its upon settlement - that will suck. I really don't want to rent if I can help it. Not with two dogs, a cat, a 1yo and a baby on the way. And MIL coming over in november.
Pregnancy seems to be going okay. M/S has subsided (finally). I have an U/S tomorrow. But not finding out the sex. Knew with Shaun, and I want this one to be a surprise.
Shaun has done some cute things lately: He is hugging his soft toys, which he's never done before. And although he only has a dummy when he goes to bed - he used to throw them out of his cot then cry because he had none. Now, he has 3 dummies in his cot and he keeps one in each hand and one in his mouth... and doesn't let them go! My stepmum took a great photo of him juggling 3 dummies and his bottle! And he has been really gentle with the cat - finally!!!! Poor cat has suffered for the last 6 months. Now Shaun knows to pat gently, and give kisses. Then he gets a bit excited and starts hitting him.
Well... I'll be back soon... I'm off to finish this garden!
ps: Leanne - you are a mum 24/7.... and a great one!!!! Ignore people's stupid comments.
Oh I meant to commnet in that too. Thanks Jodie. Mum's don't come with an off switch or half strength mode. I bet that person didn't have kids.
Good luck tomorrow Jodie.
hope your scan shows little bean bouncing happily away you definately have more will power then me i couldn't help but find out what i was having
So Nat are you getting one too?
Jodie, Gl with the scan honey.
Sorry no more personals, I read and now I can't remember, hope you all had a good weekend. I am off to bed!
