Bernie... I think the same thing sometimes... how will I cope with two (under 18 months)... but then I think - there are people that have 5 kids and they cope! I think the 2nd time around must be easier because you've had a little bit of experience!
My husbands name is Yariv - and it sounds exactly as it's spelt - but people have so much trouble with it because no-one has ever heard of it. He's from Israel. Our surname is Daniel - which makes it more confusing because people think his name is Daniel Yariv.
Well... we won't be having our 2nd baby at the same time... but we can enjoy our pregnancies together for a while!
Your so right jodie how does anyone else cope .Im just at that stage of pregnancy the doubtful stage hopefully will snap out of it soon.So glad i popped in.How funny i bet everyone calls your husband daniel .I keep a watch on this tread see you all soon;)

Hi girls, I've been out all day and you got to page 3!!! Welcome Bernie, Aoife was a name DH liked for Riley if he'd been a girl (DH is into Irish names as our surname is Irish) I used to work with an Irish girl called Keeva but it was spelt completely different to that LOL
Kim- when does Cam find out about NT? Will it be Darwin?? Will you go?? Erin was born in Darwin, we lived there for 14 months when Daniel was in the army.

bernie - hi and welcome ur bub is very cute! Congrats on the new pregnancy too, i am hoping to be pg again very soon too. It is very scarey to imagine having to cope with a toddler and a newborn, i think it will extremely exhausting and testing but we will get through the fog of it all and love that we had them so close in age.
kim - bummer that they had sold out. What is the stuff you are taking aimed to do?

Just got off the phone to DH who is currently drinking a bottle of white and eating garlic prawns..poor thing such a hard life he leads...This is how much Archie loves to dance: we were at the playground and he was running along a ramp when a car alarm went off across the road, he excitedly starts squealing then realises that the alarm has a beat and starts head banging to the alarm his whole little body was bouncing up and down! what a little character. Went and got fitted for new bras today, got 2 minimiser bras and feel like a new woman, haven't been fited for decent bras since bfing.
OMG girls! I've been meaning to post all night and have been side tracked my MSN. Am sooo tired and have to be up early tomorrow so will catch up tomorrow arvo.

Last week day of school holidays today, I go back to school Monday and the girls Tuesday. I am dreading getting organised of a morning again, we have been getting up after 8 every day and blobbing around in our pjs for hours!
I think Sara is having a girl too BTW, we don't have too much longer to wait at least! Hope you are feeling OK Sara. Poor Briley's head/face Riley is always getting bumps on the head atm too.
Nat- hope the packing is going well, I hate moving, we seem to move every year- that's the problem with renting I guess.

ETA He's got APEC commitments until the end of September so I guess if he gets it it will be after that to go up North. I won't go cos they'll be stationed in the middle of no-where.

well just bback from th e doctors again ( we should have our own chairs there soon ) ryan has tonsilitis and i have a middle ear infection Yay us we're so luckeeeeeeeyyyyy not
so antibiotic for the boy and not yet for me the doc wanted to see if it turns into a full blown infection WTF .. oh well what is a few more sleepless nights and blinding headaches
i have been having nightmares for the last couple of nights i don't know cause i'm sick or what but each night they are getting worse and worse ( and NO i'm not pg don't even ask LOL ) though i maybe going out in sympathy with someone who knows
last night i had 3 different ones all in a matter of 2 hours of broken sleep it was wierd
oh and BTW sara is having a boy on the 26th of july and he'll be 8 lb 2 oz :pray:

Mum works at vacation care just out of town so i took Arch out there for an hour, the little girls loved playing with and wore him out, he has been in bed for half an hour making those tired noises, hopefully he will give in soon and go to sleep for a couple of hours. Just sitting here waiting to see one of the neighbours kids come a cropper, they have made a jump out of a wheelie bin and are going over it on a little scooter thingy, i am so mean...

Hi everyone, me again!
So thismorning I was driving into town and could feel bubs bouncing around on my cervix. It went on for a lot longer than it normally does. So i pulled into the carpark of where i was going and i felt a really warm rush down below. I did'nt feel a trickle or flow of anything but i could feel that my jeans were wet on the crotch. I did start to freak out a bit but did'nt really worry about it too much.
After here i went and had the baby capsule put in and was still feeling quite wet down there. We then went to a few other places and then when i was loading Briley into the car i felt a trickle run down my leg. Because i had jeans on and my belly is in the road i could'nt really see any marks of wetness of my jeans.
So i called mum and arranged to meet her at a shopping centre and for her to bring me a pair of undies (i was going commando!!) and a pad. This was the first time i had been to the toilet since it started. When i got into the toilet there was no wet spots on my jeans. I put the undies and pants on anyways. Since it first started i have noticed bits squishing out when i am up and walking.
I have phoned the Birth Suite and they wanted me to come in but i said that i would wait a couple of hours. I have been into the Birth Suite that many times this pregnancy i am really embarassed to go in unless i know something is REALLY up.
Thing is, i am not having any contraction but i do have a fair bit of backpain. I went into labour with my waters breaking with Briley but things started immeditately. I am really confused.
Does this sound like my waters have broken??? Could i be just over-reacting???
I keep thinking that it could just be my hindwaters. But do they continually leak???

wow i really dont know what it would be, but i would go get checke dout just to put your mind at ease. i know you have been to the birthing suite so many times already, but don't worry what the midwives think, i fyou think it will put your mind at ease them go get checked. goodluck i hope that bub is on its way out!!
That's right sorry ELissa, I did mean to answer you.
She looked at my iris and asked me if U had had a nerve problem as in anxiety or a nerve disorder (I do PND/anxiety and a gynae nerve disorder) and if I had had liver or kidney troubles (also both shut down with Darcy and ongoing kidney troubles). The herbs are meant to cleanse and repair and detox and bebuild. Also boost my immune system and she put in some vitex as well when I told her about the bleeding every 10 days or so. You should see the colour of my wee!!! lol. She only gave me a low dose incase it affected Darcy's gastro system - she has done 3 poos today so I'm guessing it's cleansing her system too.
Tell you what though. That shop made me so interested in studying all that stuff....might check it out.
Sara that's exaclty what happend to me - it was my waters leaking - Darcy arrived 4 days later and infected cos I had no water....
sara ~ hun go and get checked who cares how many times you've been healthy mum and bub is the aim here eagerly awaiting some news please let nat or some one know other wise i'll never sleep

Ellissa ~ Your lucky DH – garlic prawns yummo! How cute of Archie!! I read that yesterday and then Em did something today while we were out that reminded me of it! We were at a friends and her bubba was in a rocker on hard flooring and the baby started rocking it and it made a rhythmic beating sound lol so Em started dancing about the place – too cute!!! LOL @ the new bras!
I can’t wait to move house and set everything up there. I have a new desk which I am just dying to use as its so much bigger and has more storage!!! Its gonna be great!!!! Uni will be interesting this semester as I have 2 full days instead of bits and pieces over 3/4 days. I am hoping to drop the 3rd day of CC Em is in. I would prefer him to be in 2 days not to mention it would save me some money. But I want to move first and see how I handle the work load. I don’t want to put myself under any extra pressure. Alrighty I’m off to tick something off my to do list lol!
Sara, I would go in as that sounds like something they need to check. I can't offer any more advice as my waters have had to be broken every time, even with Erin when I wasn't induced.
Vic its so good to see you about again! :D I was thinking that as well re CC. Would be nice to have half a day to clean and half a day to study not to mention I sometimes work Thursday nights and Em's dad picks him up from CC then. Just getting a case of the guilts I think.
I want to spend more time with him but at the same time I need to make sure I've got enough time for uni work etc. Even thought I'm thoroughly enjoying myself and I am doing uni for me, I'm also doing it to make sure that Emerson has a mummy that can provide for him and give him everything he needs. Not to mention I can't wait for the day I'm not dependent on the government. Look at me trying to justify WHY I have him in CC :redface: :rolleyes: I think I'd cope better if I spent less time second guessing myself!

Just letting you know i called the Birth Suite back and they still want me too come in. They said to come in after i have dinner and a shower and whatever.
I just went for a long walk around the farm with Brent and Briley and i can really feel baby trying to grind down in there! Still no contractions just lots of backache.
So i will text you Nat and let you all know how i go. Fingers crossed tonight might be the night.
I really do feel stupid though. Esp since i am having no contractions. But better to be safe than to end up with an infection or something.

Ohhher GL Sara! I can't wait to get that SMS! The back ache could certainly be labour!! How exciting! I can see exactly how you would feel having been into the ward so many times but it is ALWAYS better to safe then sorry. Take care hun!

kim - thanks for the explanation. yeah i get sucked into all the natural therapies every so often, very interesting stuff. Hope it works for you. I had no idea you had so many pg issues, i don't think i realised how lucky i was with DS. How is your PND/anxiety?? I was never diagnosed with PND or anxiety, but i am absolutely sure i suffer from anxiety which ithink is closely liked to my IBS, think i had PND for quite a few months too, all makes ttc again a bit daunting. I still psych myself out regularly when im out and about to the point where i either have to run to the tolet, or sit down before i pass out or vomit, it sux big time hey?! Anyway had no intention of posting all that and ihope it doesn't make you uncomfortable to talk about it.
nat - oh i wish we didn't live so far apart i'd just love to see Em and Archie getting up to mischeif together! i see you are still as motivated as ever, good on you, you are a breath of fresh air to me, atm i justkeep getting bogged down in the day to day of it all, must get an excercise routine back again! Can't wait til you move either, i am excited for you!
vic - the doll is one those ones that has a buckle, shoelace, zip, velcro etc, so not boy or girl really. Archie haas my old doll that has a penis and it freaks DH too! hope work settles down for you.

Went down to Dads this afternoon (he lives half hour away) archie and poppy had a wonderful time out in the shed together, archie fell asleep onthe way home so put him straight into bed, he has a homebrand nappy on so it will be interesting to see how wet his clothes are in the morning!

No prob Elissa. No now I'm good with it. I had ante natal depression too - badly. I knew from past experience and training, but I didn't tell anyone until I was about 30weeks pregnant. I was only anxious in the height of it. That's how Cam knew I was baaaad. Because normally nothing phases me and I rarely do stress.
least you girls have an extra support now May Buddies ... can't speak for everybody but i know i will always be here to lend a ear when ever you need one ..
come on sara you don't have to wait till sunday for an eviction ( bit of big brother humour -can you tell i'm tired ) tonights good ...

Ellissa ~ Awwww hun you gave me warm fuzzies!! I am happy that I am a breath of fresh rather then a PITA hehe. It is such a shame you don't live closer but we WILL catch if either of us is ever in the area!
I have to agree with what Shazz has said. Going through something alone is so much harder then going through it with friends and people who are also going through similar things!
Vic ~ He is normally in 9ish - 5.30. Next semester Mondays & Tuesdays will be a full day. Mondays 8 - 5.30 and Tuesdays 8 - 6. The only good thing about that is that I don't have uni any other days at all. I could just put him in for a short day on Thursday - good idea. It just annoys me that we don't have the option to pay for half days. I will see how I go I think.
Hope everything is going well with Sara. I haven't heard anything yet!

kim - i never ever stressed about anything in life til Archie had his operation, it was downhill from there. I think i am still in denial about it, never ever told anyone i felt depressed til i 'came out of it' so to speak, actually i didn't realise i was depressed til i was out of it then i mentioned it tomy doctor and he agreed that it sounded like PND but it was quite unusual to just be able to pull myself out of it. Its all very confusing, i just try not to think about it and im fine. At least next itme around we know what to look out for and how to treat it asap.
Archie and i both have wind pains tonight, don't have any idea why....maybe a bit of a bug or something.
nat - oo we just posted together....youa re right its no good to feel alone, belly belly is a wonderful support for me, you guys especially!

Morning girls!!
Well another false alarm!!!! How long can this go on for?!?!?!?!
So i went into the hospital and had a spec and internal done. Cervix is still a loooonnnnggg way back and closed. There was no sign of pooling of fluid, so no broken waters!
Baby has def dropped big time now. Decent is 1/5!!! The Dr i saw said she did'nt think i had long to go at all! Fingers crossed she is right.
In the end the diagnoses was that when you are getting ready to lose you mucous plug, your vaginal discharge can change and turn really watery! So this is what they are saying is happening to me. Never heard of such a thing myself but they are the Dr's right?!?!
I was having some tightenings lastnight while there but nothing regular or too painful. I woke up at 3am thismorning to some really strong contractions and thought "Don't even go there!!!!". I had a couple more but they subsided to nothing.
This baby is really keeping us on our toes!!!
Sorry i could'nt offer any good news girls!! Soon enough!

um nah i don't see much of a difference except both the boys are grazers if you let them they would strap the feed bag on in the morning and only take it off to sleep where DD just ate when food was put in front of her
