sheree - lol at lachlan's death stare! Archie doesn't ahve a death stare but he has a definate cheeky naughty boy stare at times! Thankyou for your honest thoughts on our ttc dramas, yes i think it is probably best if i go with my own decision on ttc and don't really give DH many options, it is my body that has to go through it all again and its me who is gonna bf and stay at home etc. I thnk the reason i deciding to ttc again now is cause i was scared that if i waited for Arch to start kindy befoer ttc that DH would feel too old to ttc and i would be giving up any chance of having another baby. Probably ttc for the wrong reasons at the moment. It is just such a huge decision and i don't want to regret it later on in life IYKWIM. Thanks again for your thoughts, they are much appreciated.

Hi girls,
Just thought i would pop in quickly and say hi. Briley is about too wake up from her nap and i won't have a chance later on.
Things are good here. Briley is teething big time at the moment. Her molars are about too cut. The tip of one has already come through but the other one is bulging. So in total she has 7 teeth now. They are all trying to come at once now!!!
Got a call from the hosptial yesterday about Briley's eye. We have an appointment tomorrow to check her over and if they think she is ok her operation will be on tuesday!! When i answered the phone yesterday and they lady said she was from the eye clinic i got massive butterflies in my tummy cause i knew what she was calling for. I'm scared at how Briley is going to react. Especially since she is going through this separation anxiety phase. I'm sure we will be fine. Fingers crossed.
Colby is good. Still feeding wonderfully. But still has a terrible cough and a bit of a runny nose. Briley is still struggling with the cough and cold too. I was thinking of taking them both back to the Dr tomorrow to have another check over. All these people dying of the flu kinda gets you worried. Especially since Briley has had her cold for about a month and half now. Poor baby.
As for me, i am going ok. Had a few stress out moments. Briley cries with her teething at the worst times!! Also had a few days of crying. I never had any baby blues or anything with Briley but i have thought about PND depression a few times now. I am on the watch out for signs and symptoms. I broke down to my friend Michelle the other day about my anxieties for Briley. I was quite upset that i may have had another baby to soon. I felt sorry for Briley. But she has been so good with it all. She has adjusted well. I am sure its just me.
Anyways, miss has woken up. Sorry again for no personals. I will get onto it soon. Promise!
Hope you are all well!
Take Care.
-
sara - take care, sounds like both your girls are thrin=ving. Poor Briley 6 weeks with a cold and now teething! You must be so tired! Good on you for being aware of the signs and symptoms of PND, its nothing to be ashamed of if you do get it, have a chat to your GP about your concerns and im sure they will put your mind at ease either way. Its great that you have a friend to confide in. Goodluck with Briley's op, im sure it will be a lot easier than you imagine.
-
afternoon all
it is slightly freezing here and i just spemnt an hour on the school oval for nick and his footy training omg i can barely feel my fingers
-
GL with your decision Elissa. xoxo
Sara - you have every right to be feeling the way that you are, don't beat yourself up about it. Is there anyone that can help you adjust atm, like your mum??? This is all going to take time and it won't be easy but you will get there. Big hugs and kisses coming your way.
Shazz - is it overcast too? That is what has brought the cold this away, haven't seen the sun for the past week nearly.
Gosh I am really struggeling in the afternoons / nights! How crazy, I seem to be ok all morning till lunch and then after lunch and actually more so at night, ewww I feel awful!
-
yep sheree over cast drizzley i wish it would pour down and be done with it though i am happy for any rain to fall at all least the grass is greenish now not dirt patches bugger about the MS i was lucky i never really had any other then the dizzy spells making be want to throw up
-
tried to post last night, but it seemed that BB had crashed ??
Thankfully I saved the post to word... so I didn't lose it all...
finally I am able to spend some time to say hi to everyone, and fill you in on my latest...
Sara: great news that Colby is feeding so well. Thanks for the photos! Awww at Briley & her op. I hope that it all goes well, and she doesn't fret. She will get spoilt rotten in the hospital. I hope you're coping okay and you don't get PND... but don't be scared to reach out for help (PANDA) if you're getting down. No doubt you are tired, and hormonal. Just keep an eye on it - and don't try to 'cope' with it all on your own.
Kim: amazing that Darcy can feed herself - and she did a poo on the loo!!! I thought about toilet training Shaun - but they said to wait until after the baby is born. And with us moving house as well - I don't want to put too much on him. When Shaun is reluctant to eat, Yariv lets him spoon his food into his mouth. Be we would never attempt to let him try it himself! He would repaint the walls with his dinner. Don't get too upset with Darcy weaning herself. You have done so so well. (god, I couldn't manage 3 days!!).
Leeanne: we have a big corner spa bath, and until recently we had a wooden board across it, with the baby bath ontop of that. But Shaun would go nuts splashing water everywhere. So now we put him in the bath - and Yariv showers him with the hand attachment. He puts the plug in, so the bath fills a little bit. He then sits down and splashes & plays with his bath toys. But we've never put him in the actual shower. Awww at Katy so scared and crying.
Christine: OMG at losing everything on your computer. My greatest fear!!! I'm sorry that you have lost stuff. I know how stressful it can be.
Sheree: sorry to hear your m/s is kicking in. hehe at Lachlans death stare!
Elissa: OMG at Archie throwing things at you! Shaun occassionally wakes up early - but he self settles (phew). I couldn't bare getting up at 6-7am. That would KILL me!
As for me...
Health: Shaun has had a bit of a cough for a few days, and I got an ear ache (blockage?) yesterday. So we went to the doctors today. Shaun is fine... just a cold... possible light case of bronchialitus or a future asthmatic :( Doc said to just give him demazin. Turns out I have an infected eardrum... and it was all red & inflamed. So he's given me anti-biotics.
House: well, we've got the deposit for our home (in a trust account)... so we can officially bid/offer on other homes. There has been one house I've been keen on; so tonight we gave them an offer of $500k. The agent went straight to them, and came back and said they want $520k. But she knew we were pushing to offer $500 - and told them that. She told them to think about it overnight, and she will call us tomorrow. I hope they will accept $500k. I really like the house, and I really don't want to keep looking at others. I've not seen one other house that I like. :( If they knock the offer back - then we can see what happens at their auction on the 1st Sept - or look around for others. But there is nothing available at the moment that we have any interest in.
Salon/work: there has been one guy who seems quite interested in buying the salon. He's seen the salon, seen the financials, and is coming back on Sunday to check out the salon again. There is also another guy going to look at the salon tomorrow night (for his wife who's out of the country at the moment). At the end of the day - I'm not sure if either will buy it. So I have to decide whether to drop the price just to get rid of it - or offer it to one of my staff in return for a weekly payment of $500 for 3 years. She wouldn't be able to buy it up front. And not sure if she would want it at all.
Other stuff:
- My dad & step mum have gone on holidays to Thailand for 10 days. Wish it was me.
- My step-sister announced her engagement on Sunday. She is a super-GEEK, and so is her boyfriend. They suit each other. It's the first b/f she's ever had! She's 26yo.. been with this guy about a year. She says she'll have a long engagement (2 years).
- pregnancy has been going okay. Nothing exciting. Bit of movement.
- today I found out that a woman on eBay is selling a list of companies that give out samples... and she has my email on there! Now I know why I'm inundated with requests for 'free samples'. I contacted her and had such a go at her. She's removed me from her list... but the existing lists will continue to circulate.
-
sheree - thanks for your GL. your m/s sounds exactly like what mine was, we could never go out in the afternoon/night as i just couldn't manage to bein a vertical position for more than a minute or two, luckily it only lasted a few weeks. Hope your m/s doesn't get any worse.
jodie - wow that was a bg post...where so i start?? hope Shaun gets over his cold with no infections following it, hope your ear isn't too painful you poor thing. Archie usually self settles in the mornings but he got up at 7:30 this morning and is having big day sleeps so it doesn't worry me too much, i prob perfer to have the extra time during the day to myself. Hope they accept your offer on the house sounds like you realy love it. i am very jealous of your dad and step-mum! Woohoo on your step-sisters engagment. WTF is with that lady and her list of free samples???? Cheeky woman!
Just got back form kindergym, had to get out of the house he is really challenging me atm has gone into full on toddler mode, think i will have to start researching discipline techniques now! He kept trippng on things and hurting himself this morning but instead of crying forme to soothe him he would throw a tanty and scream and get really angry with himself, poor littel thing it must be horrible not to be able to do everything you want to casue you're too little. On a good note on the 15 minute walk to and from kindergym he wore his sunnies and hat the whole way without a single complaint. He spent the whole hour at kindergym playing with the toy kitchen, i wonder if they would have one at the local toy library, might go and check it out.
-
We got a house!!!
It's not the house that we wanted - that we put an offer on yesterday. We offered $500... but they really wanted $520k and we refused to budge.
Last night a house went online, and I went to see it today. It's about 5 minutes walk from where we live now!! It's 5 bedrooms (or 4 + study), 3 bathrooms, lounge/dining, kitchen/meals, family room, large laundry, and a decent backyard & entertaining area... and get this - A SAUNA ROOM !!! But... it needs some renovations. Most of the house has polished boards - but they need one coat to freshen them up. We will need to rip out the kitchen - and all 3 bathrooms could do with an upgrade. We are going to settle on the same day as we settle - but because this house is currently empty - they are letting us 'rent' the property so that we can get in there early and renovate before we move it! YAY!!! That is such a big blessing! Means we can renovate, and move our furniture over the next two months rather then move everything in one day - and renovate while we are living there! Particularly with the floorboards... We know the smell!
Oh, forgot to mention - we got this house for $400,0000 - so it's $100,000 cheaper then the other one we wanted! We will spend $20-40k on the renos and it will be perfect for us!
So I can start to sleep well now. No more looking at homes. No more worrying about what we can afford. Now it is just the challenge of renovating the new home. It will be my job to organise it all... and Yariv's job to do all the hard work :)
And I'm getting confident that my salon will sell too!!! There has been a guy interested for a few weeks, and he his coming back on Sunday for another look. Then tonight I showed someone else through - and it turns out his wife is in England - and has owned a salon over there for 20 years. She is arriving in September - and she wants to buy a salon. They said my salon is just the sort she will be looking for! So both of these guys sound like good potential buyers.
Sorry about this all being "my news"....
How cute would Archie look in sunglasses & hat! Shaun used to hate hats with a passion... but he will reluctantly wear one now. I got him some little sunnies too... but he takes them off and pulls the lenses out!
-
What fantastic news Jodie, I am so pleased for you guys. Just some more hard work now, but hey what a saving. Maybe you could even pay someone to do some of it this time.
Elissa - Lachlan is so good with hats, socks and shoes - I am so lucky there. He cries when I take his hat off and he is now doing the same with his sunnies. My child I tell ya can get easily obsessed with things.
Well I broke my little toe today, you can now call me hop a long. I kicked it on my glory box this morning and it has just been getting more swollen and black and blue as the day progressed. Wade looked at it and said ohhh yeah that is broken. It is absolutely throbbing, the pain, omg! But there is nothing they can do, so I just have to grin and bear it. Should have seen me jump and swear. I nearly hit the ceiling I was in that much pain and that aint a pretty sight being a pregnant lady and all.
Nite I am getting an early night if my toe allows me to do so.
-
wooohooo jodie i'm so pleased for you
sheree ouch i can relate i stubbed my toe last week and only now can i put my joggers on
-
Just quickly before I jump in the showe.
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! Gee I hope I have a good day at work, this week has been crazy :)
Oh and it's daffodil day today, so please don't forget. I am pretty passionate about Cancer fund raising. It's so so important.
Have a good one ladies. and bubbas. - or should I say toddlers.
-
Morning girls,
Jodie - Congrats on the house!! It all sounds really good. You must have lady luck on your side at the moment for everything to have worked out so well! Good on you mate!
Sheree - OUCH!!! I hate kicking your toe! I reckon it hurts more than anything else! Maybe you can use this as an excuse to put your feet up!
Leanne - Hope your having a good day at work hun! As much as you can anyways.
Ok so that was my attempt at personals. Sorry its short and sweet...trying to ease myself back into it!!!
Well things are pretty good here. Briley is still sick though and we are off to the Dr again tomorrow. She just can't seem to shake it. Colby is still coughing really bad but manages to vomit a fair bit of phlem when she does. Her nose seems to be getting really stuffy again though. And me well i can't seem to get rid of the phlem either! It really beginnnig to become very frustrating. Briley is just so miserable all the time at the moment. Not her fault i know.
Since Colby's birth i have been getting really bad headaches. I am not sure wether its from the blood loss or not. I am on double doses of iron tablets at the moment which has brought my iron levels back up to 112 but that headaches are continuing. I am going to speak with the dr about it all tomorrow.
Not much else to report.
Hope you are all well...
-
morning all
just back form the dentist is is still raining here and hopefully still is over the catchment areas where we need it most
-
i feel so lonely where are you all Mwahhhhhhh
-
next morning and still no one to play with ..... mwahhhhhhhhhhhhh
-
Hi Shazz :hello:
I went to bed early for a nice change, 9.30pm, new record me thinks. But didn't sleep any better grrr.... makes you wonder why you bother.
WE have got a 5 year olds birthday party at 12pm and a 4 year olds at 4pm. Busy day..... bye all
-
Kim: How is Darcy going? How are you going? Not long till the big move. Are you getting nervous / excited? Have you had to start packing yet......
Sheree: Hope the afternoon sickness is easing a little. And your toe you poor thing. I feel your pain. I have done that three times. Yep THREE times. I just never learn.
Elissa: Did Arch continue with his early rises for the rest of the week. I really look forward to my 8am sleep in on Saturdays, but this morning Missy was up from 6. She’s probably in such a routine now that her body clock tells her to.
Kaitlyn hits me with her books on my head. Hurts eh? I just tap her on the head with it and say See it’s an ouchie. Don’t worry, it’s never anything hard though.
Arch must have looked so cute with the sunnies on. We’ve been putting some on Katy at the shops (bright pink with diamantes) and she looks hot!!!. Mark and I both wear glasses and she thinks she is so clever with them on. Only thing is, they’re on for 5 seconds flat and then they’re off. So….. I have not bought any YET. But come summer I will have no choice. He he he he
How are you feeling about your TTC decision. That’s definitely a hard call. I don’t think could make it if it was up to me. I don’t think you would be too old if you waited a couple of years.
Christine: Hello there! BGR about your computer. Did you manage to get anything back?
Shazz Hello. It was quiet in here yesterday wasn’t it……
Tanya: Hi to you too. Hope you’re doing okay.
Sara - How’s Briley’s teething going. Did those molars show themselves. We still only have 6 teeth here. How did the appointment go about Briley’s eye? Did she have the operation. I hope it all went well for you.
Colby sounds like a little trooper with her feeding. Hope the coughs and colds go soon though.
Now about you. You look after yourself. It’s great that you know and are looking out for the PND signs etc, but please see someone if it does not go soon. I learnt the hard way and still struggling. And about those headaches. You take care and hope they go soon. Might just be the iron like you think.
Jodie. WOO HOO on the house. I am so excited for you all.
Congrats to your sister on her engagement.
That women on Ebay should be barred. How rude. That’s just so wrong to do that.
Hope the meds are helping your ear. Nothing worse than a sore ear.
Nat How are you doing ….. hope all is okay for you.
Now a little bit about me.
I am so shirty. I have been counting points religiously for three weeks or so now and guess what? NOTHING. Still sitting bang smack on 92 kg. I want to get under 90 kg. (for a start at least) I feel like such a big lardy lump. So…… I am continuing with it. Hanging in there. Shed a few tears (okay I bawled) on Thursday (my weigh in day here at home), and well am soldering on. It’s so hard, esp with the PCOS. Does anyone think the anti depressants and pill might be effecting it or am I just looking for an excuse…… GRR
This is probably TMI but when I do a No2 I get massive pains in one side of my stomach. I have been meaning to go to the dr, but's it's probably nothing right?
Anyway, missy’s gone down for a little nap, I have a 30th party today at 3pm so better get out of my jarmies. Hubby's at work so it's the only time I can have a shower.
I think I have broken my post records - this post is HUGE.
Have a great weekend everyone....
-
That post was huge Leanne!
Any medication can certainly affect weight loss... but not prevent it. So it could be used as an excuse for slow weightloss. I'm going to ask you some questions:
- are you eating the FULL amount of allocated points? Or are you skipping some thinking it will speed up weight loss?
- are you eating fruit - which will help with your poos.
- have you increased your exercise? Are you getting your heart rate going?
If you're doing 'all the right things'... you might want to try the 'no count/core' programme for a little while, see if that makes a difference.
Or go to Week 1 of your book - and try to eat their menu plan for the full week. You would just about guarantee 1kg+ loss. (if you don't have the week 1 book - pm me or email and I'll help you out.)
Good on you for getting to bed early Sheree! I'm going to try for an early night tonight - as I've got an all day seminar on tomorrow - and will have to leave home around 7.30am!!! It's going to kill me!
Hope you enjoy your parties Sheree & Leanne.
-
hmmm Jodie. Am doing 1 and 2. But find it difficult to find time for 3. Will have to MAKE time for exercise.
I have the old 2000 books. I am thinking of doing the WW at home. Would love a sneak peek at
the first book.
It's so hard. Sigh
-
I have book 1 Leanne, i will try to photocopy it at work and get it to you, or else scan it and email it maybe. I haven't been very good this week!!
-
:angry:Hey Everyone!
I just thought I'd jump on really quickly. I am at PIL's paying my $1535 termite bill  and doing some washing.
Nearly everything has been moved out of our house, settlement had been extended til this Thursaday so that gave us a bit more time to move things out. We have been sleeping on our matress in the lounge for the last 5 or so days, so i will be glad when we move and have our full bed back together! We are moving in with SIL #6 until we find a house.
As yet we haven't found anything, Chris told me to go have a look at a house the other day and only gave me 15 mins notice before i had to meet the agent there and Jayden decided to get in the shower (fully clothed) while I was getting changed so i had to change him as well but could find any dry socks so he went bare footed. Later that night i asked Chris when he was going to have a look as i really liked it he said "Nah we're not getting it, I just thought you'd like to look.....you like looking at houses dont you?"
Hope everyone is well....I gotta run, Chris is coming to pick me up so we can drop another load off at SIL's
Cya

jodie - congratualtions on the noew house, what fantastic exciting news, souns like everything has really fallen into place perfectly with everything, you worked hard for it all, well done! lol at Shaun taking the lenses out of the sunnies, he really doesn't like them does he!
sheree - your poor toe! why do these things happen when you are pg and can't take anything for the pain???! How long is it meant to take to get better?
leanne - oh no i just read your eminder about Daffodil day a dat too late, will have to buy twice as many next year to make up for it. Hope you enjoyed your friday. Yep he still continues to get up between 6:30 and 7:30 but i quite like the earlier rises it gives me nore time to get the washing done and hung on the line early. Thankyou for your thoughts re my ttc decsion, i agree that we wont be too old in 2 years time to ttc and i think DH will get over it when the time comes, i have come to a decision but haven't broken it to DH yet, when AF ever turns up i will tell him then when i go back on the pill. My decision is to ttc when Archie turns 3 i have always wanted it that way, so hopefully DH will get over the age thing and support me on this. I can't believe you still haven't lost weight after you have been SO good, you poor thing you are being very strong and disciplined sticking to it anyway, it has to come off sooner or later. i don't know a lot about PCOS but im thinking the weight issue could definately have something to do with PCOS and the pill. Im unsure what your pain when pooing would be from, definately worth a trip to the dr i would think. hope you enjoyed the 30th!
sara - sorry to hear that your house is still full of germs, hope that headache fixes itself up without any problems.
tania - oh it sounds as if you aren't having the best time of it lately, you have a lot going on, it always adds stress when you don't have your own place to go home to and relax no matter how well you get on with the people your staying with. Hope its not long til your all settled in the new house.
I had my first night in a seperate state from Archie, a big step! Mum offered to have him Friday night so we could go out for tea or something then after we dropped im off we decided to go t victoria for the night and have drinks with family over there. Archie was fantastic for mum and Dh and i had a ball, i can't believe how awesome it is not to have to think about anyone but yourself for a whole 24 hours it was crazy! Didn't get to bed til 4am though so im feeling a bit under the weather tonight lol!
I have made a decision ttc no 2, though i haven't had the guts to break it to DH just yet. Have decided that its my body and its me who does nearly all of the childcare so i need to do whats right by me for once, i will ttc when Archie turns 3. Hoping DH gets over the 'being too old thing" (he will only be 33 then). Thanks for those who ofered me their support and thoughts and advice while i soul searched and found my decision.
-
glad you had a great night Elissa though when you said we decided to go to victoria for the night i had to chuckle it would take me 2 days to get there i take it your not that far from victoria
-
shazz - he he he no we are only 30 mins from the border, where we stay is 2.5 hours away, it was a good practice for when we have weddings to go to without him that are 5 plus hours away. When i picked him up he didn't bat an eyelid, he couldn't have cared less that i was back! Makes you feel really special doesn't it?!
-
Hi all, no energy to post, going to bed. Gee what a big day. But I do seem to be getting earlier and earlier to bed, what is with that! Nite all.
-
oh most definately elissa once they know your coming back for them you probably will never have a problem leaving him ( which is a good thing for the little one doesn't do much for the mummy's ego though )
sheree i wish i could follow in your footsteps and get a early night in if you could all hear how loud my Tv is blarring you would swear my DH is deaf and he keeps it like this till he is ready for bed stuff anyone else ( gees that turned into a wee vent sorry ) ok nite everyone Tiling tomorrow so i better go and try to get some sleep
-
Well I went to bed early and tossed and turned and tossed and turned. Grrr... I was so tired, but do you think I slept well, NUP!
Where is Kim? Hope you are ok?
-
Oh THanks girls, it's so nice to be missed. I'm still here, I just have to cram all my work hours in while DH can look after Darcy and now that APEC's in full swing I'm finding it really hard.
Oh no about your toe Sheree. I've done that too and OMG for such a little appendage it hurts terribly!
Jodie :happyforyou: great news about the house!!! Hope you are feeling better.
Tania, like Elissa said, I hope you find somewhere soon.
Leanne. Hun, i so wish I could be here longer because it sounds like we could both do with a buddy for WW. Hope the party was fun. I did support Daffodil day though. My desk buddy wouldn't let up until I did lol.
I've been worried about you Elissa. Glad you made a decision for you.
How's the tiling going SHazz?
Does anyone know how Nat is?
Sara honey, don't hang onto those feelings I knew what to look out for too and I got a double dose. You're doing a great job. Briley won't even remember that she was an only child once. Is she good with Colby?
As for us we have a transfer date. 7th October. We've found a house and have sorted out this one to be rented, now just to have the moving people booked and find a tenant.
Darcy weaned totally on Wednesday. I did grieve quite badly. Today is my first day back in underwires lol. about 3 of my 25 stashed 'nice' bras fit. Most went in the bin. lol who said your boobs shirnk after you bf? mine have gone up a whole cup. I hate getting up in the middle of the night to get a bottle and am weaning her of those as quick as I can.
-
Hey Kim we need to do something before you go...... :( Great news about finding a house, (we'll have someone to visit he he he ).
-
shazz - hope you haven't tired yourself out too much with all that tiling.
kim - i don't know where Natis, prob just flat out with uni. Thanksyou for your concern, i have found it very difficult making a decision based only on me, usually im always doing things for DH or Arch sake. Huge hugs to you, i have been thinking of you this week and wondering how you were getting on with the weaning, you did an absolutely amazing job bfing Darc all this time! I really hope it won't be long and you'll be bfing the next bub. i went up a cup size after bf too, wasn't happy as i was promised they'd shrink! i can't beleive you have 25 pairs of bras!! I only ever have 2-3 on rotation at any one time, im very jealous!
Great to hear that everything is moving along well with your transfers, how are you feeling about the change? i am nervous and excited about our possible move if DH gets the job.
sheree - sounds like that bub is growing lots and lots with all that sleep you are needing.
I am sitting here waiting for rchie to wake up so hima nd i can go and visit my dad for the afternoon at the beach, DH is in bed he has night shift this week. Really need to stop swearing Archie said d!@kh$!d today...........not good.
-
Yeah same Elissa. It will be a great step for us if everything works out how we think, but it's a long way to make a mistake IYKWIM.
Yep they were like my shoe and handbag addiction - usless but lovely. Now I'm down to a few. Really need some that fit properly but will wait to see if I fall pregnant or not.....

Hi girls,
We well survived the Dr's! It was a major mission as it was the first time i had to deal with both the girls on my own. Luckily i had a patient Dr. So anyways...Briley has tonsilitis and is now on antibiotics. And her gums are still playing up on her. She is dealing with it all so well the little dumpling.
The Dr did'nt have enough time to see Colby and I though. I was only able to get one appointment for Briley and though he might be able to see all of us. But we ended up being the last patients and he did'nt have time. So we have to go back tomorrow.
Kim - Briley is fantastic with Colby. She is a little rough at times but that is understandable at this stage. She does'nt understand when we are saying careful. Won't take long though cause Briley is really clever. When Colby has a coughing fit or is crying Briley will go over and stand next to her and then come out to me and look at me as if to say "Well are you going to do anything?!?!?!". She gives her lots of cuddles too.
Thanks for your words on the PND. If i have any probs i know i can always turn to you guys for guidance.
Leanne - Those molars are still on their way. The right one has finally cut the gum but the left is still coming. Briley's op is on tuesday morning. We went in on thursday afternoon for one last check-up and to speak to the anethesist. I don't think the reality of it has hit me yet. I will be shi**ing myself on the day though. Its a basic procedure though but i am scared that she has too be put to sleep. I'm sure all will be fine.
Thanks for your guidance on the PND too. I will be sure to keep an eye on it. I am feeling pretty good now though. I think it was just the shock of coming home and having to take care of 2 babies.
Tania - Is'nt there a lot of rental accomodation available where you are??? Or are you's buying??? You might have mentioned this already but i can't remember!!! Sorry! I hope you find something soon hun!
Elissa - I hear you on the need to stop swearing!!! I have too admit we are terrible when it comes to our language. We swear heaps. And in front of Briley. She has'nt copied any of the words yet but we need to clean out our mouths with soap and put a stop too it!!!
Think thats everyone! Sorry if i missed you. Hi to you and hope you are well.
Don't have much else to report. Colby's cough is getting better thank god! Breast feeding is still going well. I have'nt had her weighed since the 5-10 day check-up so might have the Dr's do it tomorrow aswell. She also smiled at me for the first time yesterday and is starting to "coo" already! I definetely think she is going to be a mummy's girl. Briley is daddy's girl all over. When someone is holding Colby and she can hear me talking she looks over at me. I think its so sweet.
I am still getting my headaches but am off to the Dr tomorrow about it. I was having issues before i fell pregnant with Briley which seemed to have already returned. I was having break through bleeding and constant period like pain and they thought i might have PCOS. I was booked in for a hystercoscopy and laparoscopy to have a look at my ovaries and an abrasion found through a MRI on my uterus. The pains started again straight after i had Briley and i was re-booked for the op's but i fell pregnant with Colby. I am going for my 6 week check-up at the hospital where i was meant to have the op's so i will ask about it then.
Well this has turned into a mammoth post. Don't know what's got into me!!! Better go before i keep raving on!
Hope you are all well...

kim - buy new bras and you'll be guarranteed to fall pg the next month just so your bras can't be used and you waste money, its how the world works, go on do it, buy them, you'll get a BFP!
shazz - hope you get your back sorted ASAP
sara - thats okay you're allowed to keep raving on! great that you got some meds for poor Briley, well done with juggling both the girls by yourself you must feel very confident now that you know you can so it by yourself.
Archie and i had a wonderful afternoon down at Poppy's house. We went for a walk along the beachfront and played on the playgrounds and chased the seagulls and picked flowers. Archie freaked out when i took his shoes off and stood him on the cold wet sand, he loved watching the water flowin and out though. Dad absolutely dotes on Archie, i am 1 of 4 girls so i think having a Grandson is quite a special thing for him, i often tell my sisters that they have to have girls so that Archie will be totally spoiled rotten all his life, naughty me! Bought him a chuppa chup for the drive home, he thought he was pretty special. he went straight to sleep tonight (after a protest when i told him it was ni nis time of course) so the fresh sea air must have tired him out.
hope you all enjoyed your weekends

Elissa how cute with Archie on the beach. I too give Lachlan lollipops, gave him one this arvo, it just slows him down a bit, we were all in the yard, so just to ensure he wouldn't go too far! He really doesn't get the concept to suck back the juices though, it is so funny.
Shazz - hope your back gets better soon, you have had a run of bad luck of late.
Sara - Struggeling with 2 babies was bound to happen, but I think you are doing a fab job!
Kim - nice to see you back, I reackon you will be pregnant soon, I have a feeling.....
Tania - been meaning to text you. Hope you find a house real soon! You must have had a gut full by now huh?
Leanne - keep going with the Weight Watchers it does work, I lost 22kgs, but I must admit I was a fitness freak at the time too! Hope you are able to shrug a bit soon.
Christine & Vic - How are you both?
Well girls, I may be MIA for the rest of the week, we are having Wade's siter, BIL and nephew here till Thursday. Will be nice to see them all. They were coming on Friday, but they got that vomitting and dirreha bug.
Have a nice week everyone

how old is your nephew, im sure lachlan will enjoy playng with his cousie
-
Yeah it is messy. Think that is the 3rd one I have given him now, and one was because he grabbed one off the supermarket counter without me looking and when I realised it was in his mouth plastic and all! So I thought what the heck, see what he does! So three later and he is still dripping juices everywhere. He loves them thou.
Chunk chunk (alias Alex) is 7 weeks older then Lachlan. So yes they will have fun. Chunk chunk is a big big boy, hence his name. He has only started walking of recent weeks.
lachlan is crying for the 3rd time 2nite already, best go......
