Morning girls,
Well i phoned the hospital thismorning about Briley being sick and they have postponed her op till after she gets well. I was kinda disappointed as i had prepared myself for it all tomorrow but its better to be safe than sorry. Not sure how long we will have to wait for another appointment though. Hopefully not too long. They told me before that the can't leave it too long as the older she gets the more serious the op gets.
We are all off to the Dr's this arvo to be checked over. Me for my headaches, Colby for everything and Briley to check on her cold, cough and tonsils.
I forgot to ask in my last post about weight loss with the breastfeeding. Did or have any of you lost and kept of the weight while you were breastfeeding?? I was up to 89-90kg's when i was pregnant and i am down to 80kg's now. I am hoping that i will keep going down with the breastfeeding. I put the weight back on so quick with Briley. I am enjoying being kinda thin at the moment!
Leanne - Huh???? What's it in relation to hun???
Elissa - Sounds like you had a great day at the beach. It was a lovely day here yesterday too but Brent reckoned it would have been too windy for the beach. We just went to bunnings for a few gardening things and then chilled out at home.
Sheree - Awwww a little play mate for Lachie. I can't wait (well i can cause i am savouring the baby moments!) till Colby is old enough to play with Briley. To watch them playing together.
Shazz - Hope your back gets better soon hun. Mine is'nt as bad at the moment so i can't complain.
Well better get Briley in the bath and then bed for sleep before we head into town. I am dragging MIL into town with me today. Not that i really want to be around her (*****y i know, but its enough living with them let alone taking them places with you!). I just need the help thats all. Grocery shopping with 2 babies is just too much at the moment!
Hope you are all well...
-
sheree - sound like lachlan will have a ball with chunk chunk (had a giggle at the nick name, my cousin who is 2.5 used to have the nickname fatboy, obvious reasons!). Hope Lachlan went to sleep okay for you last night, got up to Arch 6 times last night, not happy Jan.
shazz - hope your back is feeling better now, bummer about running out of internet time, talk to you again soon then.
sara - GL at the doctors, hope you all walk out with a clean bill of health (if only it were that simple). bummer about the op, now you will have to psych yourself up for it again! Great to hear about the weightloss!! BFing worked wonders for my baby wieght, i was back to my pre pg weight when Arch was 8 days old!! I think i would have kept losing weight if i had of kept bfing more than 5 weeks. mmmm bunnings, we miss that store, we are getting one built down here at the moment. hope your grocery shpping went okay with both bubs.
Archa nd i went for a walk through the wildlife park, we saw an emu that kept following us walking right along side archie very cute, about 15 kangaroos, a mum duck with her babies and lots of birds. Archie is pooed and is now in bed, hopefully for a couple of hours.

Afternoon ladies,
Just got home from the Dr's. We are all AOK. Brileys chest is cleared and her tonsils are getting better. My headaches are apparently tension headaches which is visable due to my current circumstances. And for the big news....
Colby has put on 1kg in 3 weeks!!!! I had her weighed and she is 5.2kg's now!!! My breast milk must be working wonders!! YAY!!!!!! I am so happy that its going well. Fingers crossed it continues this way!!
Colby is a little windy this afternoon and has been a bit upset. Better go and check on her!
-
sara - you got the clean bill of health after all, good for you!! So glad to hear that Briley is getting better finally, 1 kg in 3 weeks, what a little champ ( and you were obviously made to bf!!) fantastic to hear everything is more than okay with everyone!
My sister and her boyfriend came over tonight and cooked us dinner, we had crispy chicken tacos, mmm mmm, we all ate way too much including Archie! I find it amazing that with a change in attitude from me causes such a huge change in attitude for Archie, since i made my decision re ttc i feel great and i have had no 'fights' from Archie at all, he has been my helpful little angel again.
-
Hi girls,
WOW! Very quiet in here today. Where are you all??
Has anyone heard about the 2 week old baby girl that was mauled to death by the family's pet husky?? I just saw it on the news and had to jump on here straight away to see if anyone had posted in the news thread. Someone already had. Its such a terrible tragedy. I gave Colby an extra tight cuddle while i was listening to the story. Might heart goes out to the family.
Not much happening here today. I was meant to tackle my massive pile of ironing but did the washing anyway. I really have to do the ironing tomorrow though!
Briley is almost fully recovered! Colby still has a terrible cough and woke up twice lastnight in a coughing fit. Amazingly though she went straight back to sleep both times and sleep all night through till 5am! After i fed her i dragged Briley into bed with me, made the room real dark and managed to get a sleep in till 9.20am! It was good.
Nothing much else to report. Other than that we had 11 chickens hatch today. They are so cute. We showed Briley but she did'nt really want to touch them cause they were so small.
Dinner time....hope you are all well.
-
sara - love the new pic, wow Colby is growing up so fast already! That poor 2 week old baby, the parents must be just so unbelievably distraught, sends chills up my spine whenever i hear about it, just reminds me how easily accidents can happen when we think we are doing a good job of keeping bub safe. Great news about Briley feeling better, the chicks must be so cute. Hope Colby's cough goes away tonight. I don't know where everyone is, i came in earlier this afternoona dn nobody had been on soi didn't bother posting......
Archie had his follow-up renal u/s this morning. Had to get him to drink 250ml of fluid at once, gave him strawberry milk and to my surprise he downed it in minutes! He did really well during the scan, was suprisingly co-operative. He is such a littel copy cat now, I told my sister he prob wouldn't kiss her goodbye as he was in a angry mood this afternoon and he looked at her and said "angwy" clear as a bell with this really serious face! Sometimes i relly don't want this age to end.....other times i want him to leave home lol!
-
Hi girls, sorry I haven't been around, i took a few days for the computer to get fixed (yes we have lost everything) and then I have been feeling a bit blah and not very in the mood for posting, not sure why think its just my depression playing up with AF or something. I will try to catch up on some personals but please forgive me if I forget you.
Kim- great you have a new place to go to, what is it like? Will your place rent easily? Are you coming to Fairfield City farm on the 13th Sept??? It would be great to see you again before you go.
Leanne- have you decided what to do yet about work etc? Its a tough one, I don't envy you. BTW a shrug is a little cover/cardigany shawl thing- if you watched Kath and Kim on Sunday its the orange thing Kath wore over her dress to the Retailer of the year awards!
Elissa- I can perfectly understand you wanting to leave TTC until Archie is 3, from friends I have seen that seems to be a really good age gap, everyone is different and you need to do what suits you. Tell DH not to be so stupid about his age thing, OMG he'll only be in his mid 30s we have dads at school who are in their 40s or 50s when the kid starts school.
Jodie Big woo hoo on the sale of your house and the new one, gosh houses are so much cheaper in Melbourne than here. Glad you don't have to have a interim house you can move straight into the new one. Will you get removalists? Hope the shop sells too.
Sheree: Hope you are having fun with your visitors, i bet Lachlan is loving having someone to play with his own age. Are you feeling any better now with your m/s? Does this pg seem to be going faster cause you are so busy?
Sara Colby looks so gorgeous, well done with the feeding too, sounds like she is definitely thriving. I bet Briley thinks she is a big doll. Sorry to hear about all your colds etc its a bad time of year isn't it. Hope Briley gets well and can have her op soon. I know how scared you must be, I was upset when Jess had a general anesthetic at 11! BTW I kept off my weight loss with bf.
Shazz Hope you are all well and DH has gotten off his butt and helped with the bathroom!
Well I am now running late so I'd better bolt!!! Have a great day ladies!

That poor little bubba. I can't imagine what that couple must be going through. My opinion - kids first, then pets. My little bro was mawled by a big dog when he was little (about 2 1/2 or so), and I just don't want to risk it. Mum and dad were looking at some furniture at someone's house through the trading post, and the dig jumped him. I think he still has a scar on the top of his eye.
Rambling...... sorry
Hi Christine.
Decided to go with our original plan and stay working full time until No 2 comes along. I'm hoping to be TTC by early next year so fingers crossed it won't be for too much longer.
It's really the only way we can survive with the interest rates etc at the moment. I know that we could rent, but has anyone tried to find a house to rent these days? Also, we are in the market now, so don't really want to have to start again if you know what I mean. Katy does come first, but we need to think for the future too. Sorry, bit of a ramble there.
Mark's expecting a pay rise in September, so I hope it is a substantial one.
My PND is playing up too .... BIG TIME..... AF is due next week so that just reassured me that all MAY BE okay. I am off to the dr tonight cause I want to try and reduce my medication doses, so pls wish me luck. I am little (alot) nervous. I don't want to be on them when I am PG and I want to be off them before TTC. I am also going to get the tummy (pooh pain) thing checked out and one of my boobies is hard on one side. Probably nothing, but want to make sure.
Well better get to it.
Have a good one girls.

Hey Everyone, another quick drop in to see how you all are. The first  in my last post wasn't meant to be there...not sure how it ended up but I just saw it when I logged on now. I'll attempt some personals, there is so much to catch up on (but I have read them all)
Leanne: WTG on that long post hehe
Elissa: I'm not stressed so much but I have heaps on so I feel rushed and disorganised. Things will settle down now I think now we are out of the other house. Well done on your 1st night away, I must admit its a little addictive haha. Thats great you have made a decision about TTC too, 33 is not too old at all. Although my SIL & BIL have had TTC problems they are 4 weeks away from being 1st time parents at 38 & 41. OMG @ archie swearing, our friend's daughter 17mths said f@#k it after her daddy said it. We don't swear too much around Jayden so I hope he won't say it for a while haha
Shazz: TV's blaring must be a male thing, Chris is good at it too!I hope your back is getting better
Kim: OMG not long until you move! What a big step for you and Darcy, I hope you both cope ok. I went up a full cup size too when I stopped feeding.
Sheree: Hope your M/S doesn't last long, but part and parcel of pregnancy unfortunately, a friend of mine was hospitalised for M/S, she couldn't move her little finger without vomiting.....thank god I never got it that bad!
Sara: We sold our house and the idea was to have contract on another house about the same time, but houses in Bundy are cr@p for the price you're paying. I thought about renting until we found another house to buy but its hard with 2 dogs & a cat. Great to hear you are all on the mend. Well done on the BF'ing I know how much it means to you to be able to this time round......WTG Colby on the weight gain!!! Jayden would just love those little chicks! If we get a house with some land I want to get him some chooks, he loves them and his impersonation of them is priceless!
Christine: Hope your PND settles down soon. I know what you mean with the Blah feeling, i have been feeling the same way lately.
I haven't heard much re: the baby that was attacked, but OMG it brings tears to my eyes hearing things like that! I has attacked by a dog when i was about 4, I have a scar from my eye to the bridge of my nose & another in the corner on my nose. The kids that owned it always tormented the dog and i was just there one day when the dog had enough of it. It was a labradore(sp) too so it was unexpected. I couldn't imagine what that family is going through. SIL#6 works with the baby's grandfather i think, he flew over to be witht he family, he'd never met the baby.
Living at SIL#6 so far has been pretty good. 1 of my dogs has been jumping the fence already (played with the dog behiund us for a bit and jumped back) so we got a chain to put him on until Chris fixes the fence. Today SIL & I were talking and we heard something outside, my dog had tried to jump the fence with the chain on and he was hanging over the fence......we sh*t ourselves nearly! We ran out opened the gate and lifted him back over, luckily he wasn't hanging for long!
Jayden is sleeping in the computer room which is making it hard to get on the computer now, the only time I have time is when he is asleep. He is in his cot behind me now sleeping....so far so good, he hasn't woken up hehe.
Anyway this was meant to be a quick post! I have boxes i have to move into the garage and washing to do. I have 3 days off work this week so I have to make hte most of it hehe
Sorry to those i missed......Hope you're all well
-
Afternoon girls!
Another quiet day in here.
Christine - Great to hear from you hun. Everyone has been a little quiet in here lately. Briley loves Colby big time. She understands that she is baby and knows her name is Colby. She just says baby when she hears or see's Colby. I am keeping everything crossed that i keep the weight off. I went straight back up to 86-88kgs after i had Briley. Did'nt take long at all to put it all back on.
Leanne - Hope the Dr's appointment went well. Glad you are getting yourself check out. Esp with the lump in the boob and the poo pains. You can never be to careful.
Well i have had an eventful morning people. I got up and did the HUGE pile of ironing and finished it! I had been putting it off for ages and ages.
Then, i was just about to fill Colby's bath tub up to give her a bath and i heard the loudest banging and crashing coming from the road close to our house. I looked out the kitchen window and saw MIL running towards the road and i realised what i had heard. It sounded like a truck had crashed on the road. My heart was beating a hundred miles an hour and i went outside and yelled to MIL that i would drive down and see what happened. We live 40k's outside of town so i knew if anything bad had happened ppl would need help.
So i jumped in the car and sped down there. On the way i thought to myself "Am i prepared for what i might be about too see?!?!" When i turned the corner i saw 3ppl walking down the road 2 of them were army men (We live close to an army training area). There was stuff all over the road. When i got up to them the lady walking with one of the army men said that everything was ok and they were going to her house to call someone for help. She lived across the paddock and road from us. I could tell that she was just a shook up by it as us. She must have flew down there!
I am not quite sure what happened but. I think that the trailer the army men were towing must have hit some gravel on the side of the road and started to fish tail. The car must have been getting pulled around by the trailer too cause there were tyre marks all over the road. Finally the trailer must have flipped throwing everything out and all over the road. There were massive gouge marks in the road from the trailer. So i'd say that was the noise we heard.
All in all it was a terrifying thing to hear. You just don't know what to think when you hear something like that. You know its an accident and it sounds bad. Luckily no-one got hurt though.
So that was my morning. Sorry for the novel! I just had to tell someone!
Other than that we are all well. Kinda anyways. Brileys cold seems to be coming back would you believe! I can't believe it. Even with the antibiotics its still sticking around. Colby is still coughing too. I am pretty good but. Touch wood!
Well i am totally raving!
Hope you are all well...
-
Sar I get that 'pit of your stomach' felling every time I'm on the way to one. Good one you for going to help though. What a good little feeder you have!!! I was checking to see how Briley's op went buggar about that..

I thought I would give you a link to my 'new' house...
www.flickr.com/photos/our_home
(hope that's alright... it's only photos of the house). Remove the link if not ok.
Just remember - it needs work... first thing out is the kitchen!
will pop on tomorrow to do personals.
hope you're all well.
MWA.
xx
-
Wow Jodie your own sauna!!! and is that an outdoor kitchen too? I love looking at other people's houses thanks for sharing.
-
Righto back again.
Leanne, thinking of you tonight. Hope the doc's visit went well and you aren't feeling too pressured to stop doing something if you aren't ready. Have you had your appendix out? Could the pain be that?
Jodie, doesn't look too bad to me - can you show us some pics with your furniture in there though....when you get it in of course!
Christine, 4bed plus ensuite, big backyard. Looks new....see if I can send you a pic.
Shaaaaaz! norty norty.
Well I'll share with you all my interesting day.
Cleaned up like a mad woman so that the real estate agent can ring and bring 2 sets of people through - of course she didn't ring all day. Frustrated.
DH rings about 12.30 and says "guess what, I got the NT job, I'm leaving on the 16th September. Have to run they're doing a bomb simulation". Jaw's left hanging at this point.....:O
Ring the DPP over a matter Dh has while he's supposed to be away (that's my job when I am at work) - she (the nasty cow), says "no he'll be required for court, tough luck" - Me very pooey now
DH rings back and says "the Inspector says I'm going no matter what". Great now I get to organise and carry out a 600km move ON MY OWN - WOOHOO not! With a small child.....bet I fall pregnant this month.
Darcy's playing with my mobile and accidentally rings the last people I really want to speak to today - the ILs....FAR OUT can this day get any better...so I have to speak to them and they remind me to keep in touch - yeah right and come and stay in their shoebox - no way at least at home we get our own rooms and a bathroom.
But the day can get better - I have a $600 electricity bill due and then the Etag people ring and tell us our withdrawal account is stuffed up - it is their fault but this is so not helping my day improve :wall:
Sorry that was a bit of a rant wasn't it. On the plus side my little helper halper me with the housework today without much complaint and has gone to bed easily tonight. DH is also on a cancelled rest day on SUnday which means I can spend the whole day with my family and as it's my mum's 60th that day I'm pleased :D
-
kim - wow what a day!!! ummer about being left to do the whole move and look after Darcy all on your own, you will definately fall pg this month so that you can add awful m/s to your list of challenges with the big move! he he at Darcy ringing the inlaws. great that you have a nice family day to look forward to.
christine - sorry to hear that you aren't feeling great, i hope you feel better when AF p!ss$s off! I am on CD54 no sign of AF but my hormones are crazy! Thanksyou so much for understanding my ttc dilemma, i really feel good about my decision and if DH does feel too old to ttc again then i'll be happy with just Archie.
leanne - so sorry that PND is rearing its ugly head again for you, huge hugs, hope you feel better once AF is over. Hopefully you will get pg first time and leave work! i understand about not wanting to get out of the market, we are in a similar predicament and have decided to stay in our house and put up wit the hard times for a few more years, you do have to take the future into consideration for sure, hope the pay rise is great! Hope your tummy and boobs are easily explained away at the drs.
tania - good to hear from you! yeah i am worried it will take a long time ttc#2 which is one of the resons i was ttcing so soon cause i feel like it is gonna take a while, i am on CD54 atm with no sign of AF, so i worry about fertility issues int he future, would rather have an only child than have 2 young children at once though, so im feeling great about my decision. Good tohear you are feeling more organised now that you are out of the house. I agree about the night away being addictive! how lucky that you saw the dog in time.
sara - wow, you had an exciting day, it must have made youfeel sick to hear that sound, glad everything was okay. i can't believve Briley is getting another cold, bring on Spring and Summer, enough of the winter nasties already!
shazz - lol at you using extra download, naughty naughty naughty, sometimes it feels good to be a little bit naughty though doesn't it ?!
jodie - OMG nice nice nice nicenice!!! i am loving your new house, can we come and live with you, looks like you've got the room. 3 bars, sounds like a house for us, i love the idea of beig able to see the kids playing in the backyard through the kitchen window. The outdoor entertaining area is fabulous, had a giggle about you neeeding Jamie Durie too. I can see why you fell in love with this house. When i looked at the bathroom i though wow what a nice big bathroom very flash, then i read that you are ging to rip it out! (just proves what a dive we live in atm!lol)
I got swooped all the way home from kindergym by magpies, and there is no other route i can take to get there, so no more walking to kindergym for a few months, very sad about that, i love getting out a couple of times a week, we can go in the car 2 out of every 3 weeks so thats not too bad. New words for today are Simpsons and pretty. Was eating dinner when the simpsons came on and Archie yelled sisons sisons, so sad that he loves that show at 15 months old, i don't really watch it either its just always been on the telly in the background during dinner/bath time.
I ran out of miosturiser and cleanser this morning so i thought instead of buying stuff from the supermarket id go to the health store and get decent stuff for my horrible face. nearly died when the shop assistant asked for $70!!!!!!!!!!!! She also convinced me to have a $75, 90 minute deep cleansing treatment, i will have to wait a while before i lash out on that though i think! they also do a 60 minute make-over lesson for $50, am thinking that would benefit me greatly i have never worn makeup in my life as i have no clue what to do with it,imagine how good looking i could be with a coat of make up, DH wouldn't recognise me lol!
-
Elissa- I went and had a makeover at the clinique counter at DJs for free!! I usually only wear eyeliner and lipstick so I looked really different in full war paint.
-
mornign girls i'm being norty again ( oops ) but i have to get my daily BB fix i love hearing what you are all up to 2 more days and i'm back in full swing yay
just a quickie though i have put ryan on incremin (iron mixture and it increases appetite) and i want to shout it out loud wooohooooo he is eating like a horse and sleeping through again In HiS OwN BeD ... wooohoooo had to share ok gotta go bye
-
shazz - wow , what a wonder drug, you must be feeling fatastic now!
Archie constantly woke last night, he is scared of the dark now too, when we turn of the hall light when we go to bed he will wake up and get upset, have put his night light in a better spot now so he has a bit more light shining on him.
-
Hi girls,
I just have a quick question about expressing breastmilk.
If i expressed some breastmilk lastnight and stored it in the fridge. Can i add the milk that i have just expressed this afternoon too the one from lastnight??? Or does it have to be stored in a new container???
Any help would be apreciated.
Will be back later for personals.
-
Sara you can't add freshly expressed milk to the chilled one but if you chill the new batch first then you can add them together when they are both the same temp according to the MCHN i had
-
What Shazz said Sara. ANd if the first lot is frozen, as long as you chill the new batch you cna pour it straight in with the frozen lot.
Yuck Maggies Elissa! Glad you're feeling better :D
-
Hi Girls!
Hope you are all well. Our 2nd Fathers Day this weekend!!! What presents have you got? Any plans? I got my dad a book and a huge box of toblerone. I got Yariv the same toblerone, a top, and a spanner that he saw on TV. I also got a hand cast kit... but I haven't had the time to do it. If I get really organised tomorrow I might try to do it then. Catching up with a heap of people this weekend... and my parents got back from Thailand tonight - so we'll be seeing them too.
now for some personals:
Sheree: hows the morning sickness? And your toe? Got your house back to yourself now that SIL, BIL & nephew are gone? Hope they didn't bring their bug to you.
Kim: Bet you're busy with the APEC's. Hope there are no problems. Although those pesky protesters must be a PITA. 7th October... not too far away (we settle our house on the 10th oct). Great that you've found a house. I will definately be showing more photos with our furniture & with our renos in our house. Sounds like you had a rotten day yesterday. Hugs to you.
Elissa: You get to go for awesome walks! The beach.. and the wildlife park sounds so cool. I have no idea when Shaun will see an emu or even a kangaroo! Don't know if you can come and live with us... but you can definately come and stay with us any time! You know, I hadn't thought about looking at the kids through the kitchen window... but that's a really good point!
Leanne: how's the weight loss? hope scales are going down for you. Hope Mark gets a good pay rise!!
Shazz: how long before the reno's are finished? We will have THREE bathrooms to reno in our new place. I'm dreading that! At least we could do one at a time. And I hope your back/neck are feeling better. Woohoo at Ryan eating and sleeping so well.
Sara: Poor Briley with tonsilitis! I suffered a lot from that as a kid. Love your ticker photo. Colby is a real cutie.
Tania: Was your move today? Hope it went well. Damn about sleeping on a matress. Hope you find a house soon. I think that we had 'lady luck' on our side, to find a house a week after we sold ours. But we weren't being fussy. If it had a roof and at least 4 rooms we were interested  OMG at the dog hanging over the fence on it's chain. Glad he's okay.
Christine: so sorry to hear about your computer. We won't get removalists, as the new house is only 2 streets away from our current house. And we are hoping to get access to the house prior to settlement, so we can move a little each day (and hopefully renovate). And yeah.. this house has an outdoor kitchen! (as well as one indoors). Great for entertaining.
I worked out that we are settling the house in 42 days. OMG the last 18 days have gone so fast (when we actually got the offer on our house). I keep thinking about packing... but don't quite do anything. I did a little bit of filing today... which is a start. But I still can't see the floor in my office.
One of my staff are going overseas for more then a month... so I'm going to have to help out in the salon for the next month! It will probably kill me. I haven't done treatment work for a couple of years! And I'm into the 3rd trimester now, and starting to feel tired now. I've got to take care of Shaun, organise the house/packing, if we get keys on the new house I have to organise reno's... and work a couple of days too. Not looking forward to the next month - and I may not be posting on here for a while.
I have TWO people interested in buying the salon though, so that's a good thing. One guy is interested in it as an investment. Sent him some more info today - so I should hear from him with a definate yes or no within the next week. There is another guy, who's wife is a beauty therapist and salon owner. But she is in London, and has sold her salon. She's arriving in Melb on Sept 19th. Her DH & daughter saw the salon and said it would be perfect for her. So if the first guy drops out, I will have a backup. Fingers crossed that one of them buy it!!!!!
Well... Hope you all have a great weekend... and a happy fathers day.
-
sara - yep what the other girls said is what i used to do too.
jodie - you are very organised for Fathers Day, my poor DH is quite neglected this year, will definately have to pull my finger out next year! i was going to get Dh a big esky but he went and bought himself a lawn mower so i didn't want to spend any more money, i was alos planning on putting a message in the paper but forgot of course (feel really bad for that!) just got back from playgroup where Arch decorated a cardboard picture frame with stickers, i will put photos of him in it, i shouls surely be able to remember to do that.....As for my Dad, my sister has organised my other sisters, and me and rch to do a group photo at my place this afternoon so we will print that out and frame it from all of us, Arch did a painting at playgroup for him too. The hand cast is a fantastic idea, where did yo get it from, i realy should do one before Archie is all growed up! We do live in a really nice place down here, lots to see and so, i take it very much for granted. bummer we can't move in with you i had started packing our stuff and all lol! If we ever are in Melb i'll be sure to do my best to pop over to your place and let the boys have a play together. Wow 18 days to pack!!!!!!! I can't believe youa re in your 3rd tri already!!!!!!!!! Great news about the salon, wasn't so long ago you thought you'd never get rid of it. Enjoy your weekend and Fathers Day.
Just got back form playgroup had to come home early as Arch was really too tired and wouldn't stop chucking wobblys. He is like the vaccuum cleaner at fruit time when all the ids leave thier bowls to go play Arch goes and inspects them and eats any left over banana, so embarrassing, you'd think he was never fed! Did a Fathers Day painting for my Dad and a photo frame covered in stickers for DH so thats Fathers day sorted. My sister asked me to come to a 21st for a girl we grew up with, i don't thinki'll go though, its out of town and i don't really think it'll be my kinda crowd.....feel like a bit of a party pooper though...who knows come sat afternoon i might be hanging out for a scotch!
have happy Fathers Days!

Hi girls,
Just poppin in quickly. Sorry no personals here either. I was meant to do them the other night but did'nt end up coming in.
We had a big day and night yesterday with shopping and stuff then Brent and I went to the footy. Was a bloody good game. I had about 4 Smirnoffs and felt really good and managed to have a pretty good time. Brent was drunk as 10 men and really funny for once! I think cause i was a little pi$$y myself i saw the funny side to his behaviour!!! Normally i get angry and annoyed with him!
Nothing much else too report. I am doing another of my mum's assignments at the moment!
Thanks to those who offered advice on the expressed BM issues! Really appresciate it!
Well better go. Hope you are all well. Hope you back is'nt causing you too much grief Shazz!
Take Care....
Oops...forgot to add that i picked up the professional photos of Briley and Colby yesterday. The ones where they were an angel and a fairy. They turned out really well. They'd want to for $750.00!!!! Luckily mum paid for half the deposit so i could take them home. The rest i am on a payment plan. I will try and scan a few on the computer and send them around when i get a chance. Don't know how good they will turn out though.
-

Sara- I am lucky my brother is a photographer and takes beautiful photos but pinning him and the children down at one time is hard! He works as a wedding photographer and is really expensive so its handy to be related LOL
-
happy fathers day to all the daddy's
-
Oh can't wait to see Sara!
That is a handy brother to have. I've paid tens of thousands to photographers over the last 5 years (no joke).
Hope your bathroom is going well Shazz.
As for us, not much. Darcy is really good but wore herself out at Nanny's 60th last night and is back in bed after only being up an hour lol. It mum's birthday today and Cam's at work so we're off to visit them. APEC has taken over our lives and I'm going to be doing my day job at night (4x6hrs) so cope with the times Cam's working. Really looking forward to that....not! The ywon't allow me leave unfortunately.
Don't know if i told you guys but Cam is being deployed to the NT for 4 months right before we move, so me and my little mate are going on our own. Bit scared but no point dwelling on it becasue it has to be done....
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads
-
Wow, bit echoy in here today.....c'mon! I need someone to help take my mind off my TWW!
-
Hey Kim !!!
Can't hang around to chat... I'm ironing while Shaun is asleep.
We had a swim class this morning... and it wears him out. Great opportunity to get ontop of the ironing!
Are you going to be working for the APEC stuff?? Hope there's not troubles. Damn protesters... they don't do themselves any 'favours' by acting like thugs. If they did 'peaceful protests' they may get some people listening to them.
I'm starting to dread the next month. I'll be working in the salon at least two days a week - until 9pm one night - while one of my staff is on holidays. I've started packing up our house reading for the move which is less then 40 days! We are hoping to gain access to the other house in the next week - and start reno's on that. (initially it will be total kitchen refit, repolish floorboards & paint skirtings & door/window frames). I'm also into 3rd trimester... and starting to get tired again.
I'll be glad when the next year comes!
There was a house that we put an offer in at $500k. They rejected that, saying they wanted $520k. Instead we bought the house for $400k. But on the weekend the auction was on for the other house... so I went along to see how much they got for it. Well.. all was quite. No opening bid, so auctioneer put a vendor bid of $500k to get it started. All quiet. Not one single bid. Then the paper said the reserve was $508k. Pfft. Ha! I bet they are spewing they didn't accept our $500 offer. They would have had half a mil in their account in 40 days.
Good luck with your TWW Kim. Must be hard. I've never experienced that as we never 'tried' to conceive. We just relaxed and went with the flow.
OMG at $750 for photos. I know they look gorgeous... but I reckon they see the mums coming. And the brides! Especially with digital photography nowadays. I've used a local photographer who sets up at the shopping centre and I get around 80 photographs for $200. Reminds me... must do that soon. Would be nice to get a photo of the three of us - while I'm pregnant.
Hope you all had a nice Dads Day. Yariv had to work in the morning. In the evening I went to my dads. I gave my dad the "Koshies joke book" - to moans from his son & wife. My bro put the book in the oven so he'll never find it
I got Yariv a singlet, a huge block of Toblerone, and some fancy spanner tool thing.
anyway... better get back to the ironing.
Hope you all have a great week!!!
-
shazz - yeah, we are getting Bunnings down here in a couple of months, hope they can help us with out renos in the future. Would love to see pics when you're done, glad your back is okay.
sara - good on you for haaving a grat time at the footy and enjoying brent's humour, muc more fun when you've had a feew im sure! the photos sound adorable!
kim - not much been going on in here lately...think everyone is starting to get their lives back after babies...what CD are you?? Really hope its your month! I am CD59....what a joke! DH keeps telling me to test again JIC but i have absolutely no pg symptoms so i just keep waiting for the dreaded AF to remember to visit me...How long til the move?
jodie - do you get in the pool too at swimming lessons? I reckon Arch and i would really enjoy them, might look into them this Summer. GL surviving your busy weeks at worka nd packing the house. ha ha at the vendors for the house that you didn't get, they must be kicking themselves! It certainly is ridiculous what they charge for photos now that there is digital tecnology and its so cheap and easy to do, i paid $60 for two photos, which are good photos but certainly shouldn't be worth $60. Glad you enjoyed fathers day, we had a great day together just the three of us, it was really nice and relaxing.

Hi girls,
Very quiet in here today.
Poor Briley is sick again. I am not sure what the hell is going on here!! Am i doing something wrong??? I thought maybe she has a food alergy and that is what's causing all these colds.
Well i just have to go and put on the roast pork for tea. Will be back for personals shortly.
-
hi all just pooping in to say hi and i'll be bak a bit later if any one is up for a chat MSN or what ever
-
sara - so sorry Brileys is sick again, have you discussed your concerns bout Brileys being sick all the time with your GP?? i am sure youa ren't doing anything wrong, maybe she's just one of those kids who tends to pick up evey bug going around. mmmmm pork roast sounds alright!
shazz - hi, talk to you tonight when Arch goes to bed.
Just bought anew column heater for Archie's bedroom, the last one we3 bought for him when i came home from hospital for $30 bucks, but it was leaking oil last week so we got rid of it, the new one is the same sort and size but much better quality $80, it gives me some piece of mind as its a reputable brand.

leanne - im having a good giggle at katy's special typing skills he he he. Poor little girl having all those big teeth moving down, Archie still only has eight teeth hasn't had any new ones for months, every now and then he seems to get mid teething symptoms so i guess they are slowly moving around in there, hope katy's teeth move down without to much grief.
Achie has been my little angel this afternoon, we have had a ball together. Had a very lazy tea, Arch had a tin of baby food vegetable pasta, and i had some chicken nuggets. DH made a yummy healthy lunch though, we had lamb culets with beans, mash, carrots and broccoflower, mm mmmmmm.
