Hi ladies, apologies for not being around much lately I never seem to get much time on the computer and I can't come on at work cause the boss can access a log of what we all look up and when.
School went back on Monday and I am so glad today is the end of my week cause I am exhausted!! The kids are all pretty tired too, I didn't give homework this week cause they are just getting back into it and since it is light so early they are all waking up early and are wrecked by the afternoon.
Riley is finally starting to say more words but not as good as Darcy as Erin keeps telling me!!!! (Darcy made a big impression on Erin)
Sorry no personals, will try tomorrow I promise!
-
it is funny cause Ryan isn't saying barely anything he says
more
mummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ( not really liking this long dragged out version )

sara - isnt it exciting to see your baby in a big bed! Well done Briley for sleeping through in a new bed nd new room, hope she settles into her big bed really well. Wow at brileys speech! Archie is putting 2 or 3 words together now too sometimes its so cute hearing them try to put words together to express themselves. i hope Briley gets better for the op. have loads of fun at MG, how lucky to sign in at the same time as the other 2 mums! Fantastic to hear tht the breastfeeding is going so well, huge pat on the back to you. im glad you are enjoying your study and Brent is being so supportive. i have been thinking of getting Archie a wiggles DVD for xmas, he ahsn't seen much of them yet but i reckon he'd enjoy them. Wow Wiggles world will be awesome, is that on the Gold Caost?
leanne - oh your poor thing gastro is the pits! hope DH isn't too hard to nurse. fingers crossed Katy doesn't get it. I put Archie back in his cot last night and he has been sleeping better, poor bub wasn't quite ready for the big move. Yeah i am really looking forward to the family reunion, thankyou for asking, am a bit worried about how archie will go sleeping there but what sthe worst that can happen right?! We are looking forward to seeing how the new car will hold up on our first trip away init. oh sorry to hear about your disappointing Girls night in invites, i bet they probably didn't actually give much thought to how much more important it is being a fundraiser and all. Wish i could come sounds like heaps of fun.
christine - sounds like your work would be very tiring in the last term with daylight savings too, luckily not too many weeks to go til xmas holidays woohoo!
had a feel of Archies gums tonight and discovered yet another new molar in there, poor little boy, here's me trying to put him in a new bed when all the while he is in pain from his teeth, teething mucks everything up doesn't it! he went to sleep a lot easier tonight, still screamed a fair bit but im pretty sure it was mainly cause of new teeth. A few months ago when Archie was getting lots of new teeth my GP suggested Pain Stop at bedtime to help with the molars coming through in the future, i went and bought some yesterday but haven't tried it yet, probably should have used it tonight, but i had already given him Panadol so gave him Nurofen as well and he went to sleep. Anyone else tried Pain Stop? i reckon Shazz has used it.....
i have a confesson to make....i ws a BAD mother this morning.....Arhcie was extremely tired so i put him back to bed after breakfast and he just would not stop screaming, i felt so useless and frustrated and angry and tired that i knew if i went into his bedroom i would not be able to help myself i would have yelled at him and been rough and made him feel awful, so i just let him cry out for 45 mins til he feel asleep. I am nearly in tears typing this, especially now that i know he was getting a new tooth....once he woke from his sleep both he and i have been stress free and really happy together thanks goodness. thankyou for letting me get that off my chest.

Righto, my internet connection has been appalling - and I've finally fixed it! Becoming a jack of all trades :D
Sheree, hope you get on top of things soon. Make sure you tell someone. see you when you're ready. You don't need to be alone.
Shazz, he'll talk soon and you'll want him to be quite lol. I'm not liking the drawn out version either.....guess it's better than the screaming I was getting. You're a doula too? COol!
Elissa I meant that she can identify and say colours -now we've added pink and blue - I'm so proud of her :D I know what you mean about the door shutting/cot saga. Darcy doesn't actually have a bed becasue the money I was going to use to buy her one - has to go on a washing machine. But, she won't get into a cot of any sort. She's one her little fold out bed in her 'new' room toninght in stead of my bed - we'll see how that goes. DOn't feel bad. I know those feelings all too well, and while you feel bad - it was right at the time. He won't remember a one off. Never heard of pain stop...hope he sleeps. Great news on the car though!
Christine - Erin's gorgeous!!! Bring on Christmas I say!!! I'll be back in mid December - we should try and catch up - please?
Leanne I wish I could come!!! Shame it's not on the 16th Novemebr - I'm in Sydney then. Urrgh at the gastro though. Yuck yuck yuck poor things. Hope he's feeling better soon too.
Sara - great news on the boobs!!! Darcy used to cluster feed at night at that age too. Have you got a carrier/front pack? Exciting with Briley's bed too. We're doing the moving beds thing here too. They do get used to it though. Fantastic to hear your motivation on your course. Really hope Briley's appointment goes well tomorrow too.
As for us, Mum and Dad are coming this weekend (phew - hard to explain the number of sleeps to someone who can only count to 5) and I'm off to purchase a new washing machine in the morning. Been on a bit of a health kick with Cam not here, hopefully it's noticeable by the time I get to see him again - put on 5kg in the month after I stopped feeding.
My job's not great - in fact it's really hard and a huge amount of responsibiltiy - I'm going to either sink or swim i guess, but they're so short I'm doing my old role as well! Oh well, the next few weeks will tell....
Night.
Oh PS Darcy is doing great at daycare - it's so cute to see her with the other kids.
-
Elissa ~ i have used painstop but only tonight for the first time it has a horrid taste ( i always taste what i'm giving him so i know whether or not i'm going to wear it ) but he took most of it and only spat back a bit he is now fast asleep and peaceful finally the poor little man i'm really feeling for him but i also know where your coming from where you say you feel bad it is a frustrating thing for all this teething thing
-
Hey Girls...
Just thought I'd pop in and let you know that I'm back online! All unpacked and happily settled in. We had our dramas but will fill you all in soon enough.
Big hugs to Sheree, Kim and Ellissa, in fact big hugs to you all!!!
I have missed you all! Will be back soon for personals!
-
welcome back Nat we missed you too
-
i can't belive my baby is 18months old Mwwaaaahhhhh gosh he is so grown up we had a very peaceful night last night the pain stop worked wonders he woke up at 5.45am had a quick sip on a bottle and drifted back off snuggling up to me i love mornings like that even better if we don't have to go anywhere and can just veg out in bed unfortunately got to get moving today
-
kik - well dne sorting out your internet connection. woohoo Darcy and her colours! Archie wsn't in a proper bed either, just a foam matress on the floor. thankyou so much for helping ease my guilt about yesterday morning. Its great that your parents are coming to visit, well done on the health kick, im sure Cam will notice how extra hot you are. Darcy can count to five!! She is a wonder kid that one, Arch can sort of count to three only sort of though. Glad Darcy is enjoying daycare, that must be a huge relief for you, im sure you will swim not sink.
shazz - glad Ryan is peacefully sleeping poor little guy. i haven't tasted the Pain stop but i did open it up and have a whiff, it certainly doesn't smell like cherry flavoured, eeeeeew yuck! Great to hear taht the pain stop seemed to do its ob last night, i love nice cuddly mornings too, they dont happen often in this house, Archie has better things to do than relax in our bed...
nat - great to hear from you! happy to hear that you are nice and settled in the new place, how is Em tackling the stairs?
For the first time in a very long week, Archie has gone to sleep peacefully with not a single cry, hopefully that means we are back to the old Archie i perfer.
-
lol Shazz I taste everything too.....I wish Darcy would snuggle - she's a nightmare to sleep with. Poor thing fell out of bed last night and got wedged next to the bedside table at 3.23am- woops.
No probs Elissa :D Yes she knows the numbers to 8 but can only gat 1-5 in order. I have OCD and seem to have passed my necessity to count everything onto her lol.
 I have a new washing machine!!!
-
People must have heard my gripe...... I have had three acceptances to my girls night in today. I am feeling better already. I hope we raise some good money.
Back to normal healthwise. Just had a cup of coffee and a chockie bikkie so I am so so happy!!!
Kim, DArcy does sound like a wonder child. Katy knows what One two three is cause I always count to three just before I tell her off!.... One day she is going to say twooooo when I say oneeee. She is so cheeky ay. We'll have to meet up when you are in Sydney. I am off over Christmas new year if you are around.
Well almost time for me to go home so better get myself organised,. Might pop in tonight - hopefully we won't have any sick people at home and it can be a 'normal' night.
-
kim - At least she is good at counting he he! yay for you new washing machine. tell me all about it, what model front or top loader??
leanne - great that you have got some acceptances for the Girls Night In! So glad your gastro has gone. hope you get your 'normal' night.
Just gave archie a dose of pain Stop so am hoping for a very painfree and peaceful night! the gross taste didn't seem to worry him, not surprised though he has Losec twice a day and that stuff is so bitter tasting.
Archie said 'toilet paper' today.
-
Kim - yay on the new machine. !!
Elissa - hope Archie had a good night sleep. how clever he said toilet paper.
WElcome back nat
Thinking of you Sheree.
Hi to everyone else.
Better get in the shower.... far out... look at the time!!!
It's friday, It's Friday, It,s Friday!!!!!
-
leanne - LOL i always think of you on Fridays, i know how excited you always get! Hope your day flies!!
Archie coughed all night, just a dry cough hopefully it wont turn chesty, he also woke up with eyes covered in gunk and pink eyes, thinking conjunctivitus, will keep bathing with salty water and see how they go, fingers crossed.
The local show started today and we live a hop skip and a jump away so i am sitting hear listening to all the usic and screams coming from the rides.
-
It's the weekend!!!!! YAY!!!
I am leaving work now to go home
YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!
Boy I have no life.
-
YAY for the weekend Leanne!!!! (says me who has been on a weekend since Wednesday)
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
-
Alright I’m going to catch up on some personals…
Ellissa Your poor sister!!!! Your family day sounds lovely! WOW at Archie being a big bed already! I am not ready for that with Em yet lol. That sounds like a load of bull about the fence. They should have to pay!!!!
Kim I am so glad to see you back! I have missed you! Your nightmare day sounds like.. well a nightmare!!! How sad that the jobs aren’t what they said they were going to be :( I can’t believe you’re not seeing Cam till February. That is going to suck so badly you poor thing!
Sheree Was good chatting to you the other night. I hope you’re feeling better! :hugs: I hope that aircon of yours is fixed! Hopefully Lachie improves in the water. The coldness of it definitely wouldn’t help. The pool we’re at is so warm its like a bath. Kinda gross for me actually lol.
Sara Good on ya for focusing on your doula course. Its hard to resist temptation isn’t it? The bed sounds gorgeous! What liquid multi vitamin do you get? I think I might get something like that for Emerson next winter. Glad you’re coping so well with 2 under 2 and studying!!!
Leanne YAY Friday! Glad to hear that you’ve got people going to your Girls Night In. If I had moved in sooner I would have had one here. I think I will do one next year!
Shazz Glad you had fun at the reunion!
Sorry if I missed things or people!
The move went well. Got everything moved in one day which was great. The only downfall was that Em got gastro the day I moved. There was vomit everywhere and I was struggling to find clothes and blankets lol. He is going really well with the stairs. I have gates up but he is carefully and goes down on his bum and crawls up.
Speaking of molars I think Em might be getting his. I can’t get in there to look though lol and I’m too scared to stick my finger in. I caught a glimpse when he was screaming and I swear I saw them pushing through.
I think its great that all our babies are at different levels. It constantly reminds me that they are all different and that if Em is not great at something that its alright. I also love how we can brag about what our bubbas can do and it doesn’t come across as ‘well my baby can do this, what can yours do” IYKWIM.
How sad about that little boy found in the duck pond. He was only 2 – 4 years old. How could someone do that :(
I suppose I better go and start dinner. I have chicken thigh fillets out and I’m not sure what I’m going to do with them. I might cut them into strips and coat them in breadcrumbs and herbs perhaps... mmmmmm
-
nat - Archie is back in his cot now, dont think he was quite ready, he got 2 new molars in the last week while he has been trying to sleep in a big bed, nto good timing, now i have vowed to leave him in his cot til he cannot fit in there anymore! oh you poor thing having to deal with moving unpacking and gastro, hope Em is back to his happy self now. i agree it is really great to have a group of such supportive mums who don't try to compete with each other. mmmm your tea sounds yummy, we had chicken enchiladas and salad, yummo.
Arch was an angel this afternoon, we went to the playground for 2 hours and we both had a ball, he is such a social butterfly. there was a 7 year old girl siting on play equipment having a drink so Archie just ran for her and smashed his cup into hers saying "cheeeeers!" nearly knocked her over, lucky she was old enough to understand LOL. He also got really confident at the balancing beam, ne can now happily cross the beam only holding one had and goes quite quickly too, i have been a very proud mum today.
Had a funny moment while i was cooking tea. Silly me had my back turned to Archie while i cooked and was chatting to him the whole time, i had the dinner plates on the bench with salad on them. After i finnished coking i turned to see Archie had pulled DH's dinner plate off the bench and was sitting on the floor with it with Alfalfa and grated carrot spread all around him and not a single cherry tomato left! i couldn't tell him off, he was eating alfalfa and carrot! took some pics though he he he.
have a good night everyone
-
Hi all happy weekends to you all
-
Okay so this morning I am grumpy. Dunno whether its because I went to bed too late, it's hormones, or because I can. Could also be that I am weaning off my PND meds. I am up and down a bit at the moment.
I hate how I work all week and on the weekends all I do is housework.... Yep I have no life!
But I guess I am healthy and have a roof over my head and a family that loves me so should not be grumpy right.
grr.
off to hang the first load.
-
oh Leanne i so know what your saying you can have a grumpy moment if you want we will let you but i hope you voiced your objections to housework as your second job loud and clear ( i do every day )
-
wow it is quite in here how is everyone
-
morning anyone hellloooooooooo
-
Morning girls!
Leanne - Oh thats really sad about you IL's. I'm sorry you had to feel like that. And another gastro bug!! You guys need to hook into the vitamins!!! Yep Briley's teething has settled down for the time being. Thank god! I have those mornings too. Not today though! I tend to rip Brents head off when he's home on those days. Poor bugga!
Christine - I did'nt know you were back at work! I'm sorry hun. I must'nt read your posts properly. How terrible of me! So what do you do??? I have heard that subsequent children take a lot longer to talk than first babies. Apparently this is because they have siblings to speak for them. Do you think this is right??? Hope you managed to have a nice relaxing weekend!
Shazz - Do you think what i said to Christine about the baby talking is right?? Cause you have older kids aswell. Ryan 18 months already!!!! Time goes so quick hey. Colby is almost 3 months already!!! Imagine how much of a spin out that is for me! Time flies when you have 2 babies!
Elissa - Awww how cute of Archie!!! He does sound like a little social butterfly does'nt he! Has he recovered from his cough??? I have been giving Briley Pentavite. Its a multi-vitamin which has worked REALLY well at getting rid of her cold and cough. Briley also grabs things down off the bench! Most of time things she is not allowed to have! I love that sound of the show!!!
Nat - YOUR BACK!!!! Good to have you back hun. Nice to hear your all unpacked and settled in. Drama's come hand in hand with moving don't they! We have done it TOO many times. Won't be moving for a long time now though! The multi-vitamin is called Pentavite. I has done Briley the world of good! Yes it is sad about that little boy in the suitcase. I can't believe i read that police are treating it as suspicous!! OMG! What do you they think the little boy, put himself in the suitcase and then thew himself into the pond. I hope they find the person who did'nt it to him and they go away forever!
Kim - I hear you on the internet speed. I have Dial-up!!! I HATE IT!!! We can't get broadband where i live yet. And to make it worse, i pay for 52kbs and only get 31.2!! Glad to hear that Darcy is enjoying DC. I can't make myself send Briley back. I miss her too much. I mean i would probably get a lot done if i sent her at least 1 day i week. Maybe i should?!?!? Yeah i have a Baby Bjorn. I should use it more often than i do but. Hope you are having a lovely weekend with your parents!
Well...things are pretty much the same here. Briley is set for her op on Tuesday. Both Brent and i are VERY nervous about it. I'm glad that he tells me this and not just keep it to himself. I am really scared to be honest. I am scared of how i am going to see her. I was laying in bed lastnight thinking about it. She is going to freak when they try and put the mask on her face. This will make her cry and then make me cry. I can't cry though cause it will only upset Briley even more!! It has to be done though. At least we got rid of the cold!!
Words are coming quick now. She picks up everything you say! Even swear words!!!! We have to really watch our mouths now. She can even say her name now. On my desktop on the computer i have a picture of all the four of us together and when Briley see it she goes through and says who everyone is! Sometimes when she is saying her name she say "Sissy Biey!" Too cute!
Colby is getting further and further away from being my newborn baby! Time is going too bloody quick!! She is almost 3 months already. I can't believe how time does fly when you have 2 kids to tend to! She is lifting her head up and sitting up heaps now. Babbling away everyday. Thismorning she woke up at 5.55am for a feed and then when she was finished she just layed in her bed for ages talking to the little pictures on the side of her bassinette material.
Colby has been waking up at unusal times during the early morning for a feed. Not sure why. I can't complain though. I am still getting plenty of sleep. I am happy to get up and give her 1 feed a night if she wants it.
Afternoons are still quite a struggle though. Colby just wants to be latched to my boob constantly. It makes it really hard cause i have to get dinner ready, tend to Briley (who is also quite grumpy come that time) and try and do some work on my course. I've worked out to just leave the study to when both girls are down for their day sleep.
Well i don't think there is much else to report. Breastfeeding is still going well. I am all good.
Have a great day ladies!
-
Sara- so glad the feeding is going well, its so much easier isn't it?? I have been back at work since end of January, but I went back last week from school holidays cause I am a teacher. I think boys talk slower than girls too so I am noticing that about Riley too after the girls.
I can't believe Colby is nearly 3 months!! Where did that time go??? My 1st baby will be 16 in 2 weeks AAAAHHHH!! where did that time go????
Nat- glad the move went well and you are getting settled. How is uni going?
Kim- Erin is looking forward to seeing Darcy in December, we will definitely catch up. Hope things are settling down, glad your parents came to visit that must be lovely.
Sheree- hope you are feeling better ad that things are getting happier for you.
Elissa- I didn't move the girls into beds until they were over 2 so don't feel bad about putting Archie back in the cot. we don't have a bed for Riley so he may be in a cot until he's 18!!! Aren't they into everything at this age? Riley hides things in cupboards ATM We found my car keys in DHs motorcycle boot last week LOL
Leanne- hope you get a good turn out to your girls night in, I had one last year in honour of my mum but am too busy to do it again this year. I am going o one though. I hear you on the work all week then do all the housework! My prob. now is that since i work 3 days DH expects me to do it cause I have more time off, it really bugs me. I could be a b#tch and point out I earn nearly as much in 3 days as he does in 5 but I restrain myself!
Shazz- how are the renos going??
Where are Vic and Tannis??? haven't heard from them for ages.
-
Just letting you all know that I rang Tania this morning and all is well with them and they just moved into their new house. Now the joys of unpacking with a toddler. It was really nice to hear her voice, just what I needed.
-
Okily dokily,
I've still got internet dramas. THis week the modem cable pooed itself, so I've had to sort that out....grrr my waffle iron died in the middle of a waffle Saturday morning too....what else is going to die? I did fix the reception to the telly though.
Hey Sheree hun. Great to hear about Tania. I'm sad that your mood is still sad though. :(
Sara, I don't have cable. I just have DSL through the phone line. Can you not get that either? I know this is gross, but would a sling where you can feed and still move around help? I have a pattern I'm going to use for my next baby.
Great news Nat. Stairs he'll get used to no probs. Hopefully i'll see Cam in December.
Christine did you get those pics?
Shazz I was trying desperatly to be here - I'm so techno challenged and had to go through a thousand boxes to find the bits I needed to fix the buggar lol.
Good to hear you're feeling a tad better Leanne. Can I donate to your night? I've had gastro AGAIN this weeked too - lovin it. The 5000 degree weather did not help the cause either.
We had our cul-de-sac chrissy party last night. They were so lovely and invited us. Gee I had a nice night. Mum was sad to leave me again today, but I actually feel OK. We're in a routine now, my buddy and I and it's kind of nice to get back to it.
Have a lovely, healthy productive week everyone :D
-
Hi all just quick i'm out of allocated time for internet (again) glad to hear you are all well
and yes Leanne can we donate to your fundraiser let me know ok
miss you all already
gto to run ryan has his needles today
-
kim just looked at you chart CD 66 Hmmm whats going on ... talk to you soon
-
Morning girls,
Well i am totally pi**ed thismorning. I went and pysched myself up for Briley op, got rid of her cold and all the rest, then the hospital call me thismorning to say that its been cancelled!!! AND that she won't get another appointment until mid January cause the Dr that is doing the op is going on holidays!!! GRRRRRRRRRR Apparently an "emergency" came up. How long can this go on for!
Sorry girls, needed to vent!
Christine - Yep time does fly! And your 1'st is nearly 16 wow! Before i know it my girls will be that age! I hope it does'nt come to quick but!
Sheree - Good to hear from you hun. Nice to hear that Tania is going well. Its amazing how much a good chat can make you feel hey.
Kim - I don't know about cable. All i know is we can't get wireless either. Can you feed and walk around at the same time using them slings?? I have really big boobs and have to normally support the boob for Colby to suck so i don't know that will work for me. How is TTC going for you?? Good to hear that you had a good time at the street xmas party!!!
Well we went to BIL's birthday bbq lastnight. Was ok. Some ppl that i had a fall out with were there and it was really uncomfortable. Brent was on the grog and was putting up a fight to leave even though the girls was ready to go. Typical!
BIL has a high set house. Brent was supposed to be watching Briley and she disappeared. Well we found her at the TOP of the stairs!! She had got all the way to the top following the older kids. I was so angry at Brent. If she had of fell she would have been seriously hurt!
Well better go. Getting hard to type with Colby stuck to my boob!
Hope you are all well!
-
leanne - sorry to hear that you are feeling negative atm, its awful not to be able to get yourself into a good mood, i hope it doesn't last long. It must be so hard to work and be the mum and housewife!! I am a SAHM and i still get extremely frustrted at how messy my house always is!
Sara - thats great that the entavite has improved Briley's health and let her finaly get over all the bugs, i am actually thinking that the cough has been due to reflux now, last night he spent half the night choking and coughing really bad cause of reflux, poor little guy, will up his meds tonight and see how he goes. Im glad that Briley is finally able to get the op over and done with, it is a perfectly normal reaction to feel stressed and worried about her and how you're gonna cope, you are her mum, you will be great, nice and brave to settle her down, your natural mum instincts will kick in when the time comes. Well done on the breastfeeding! i can't begin to imagine how HARD it would be in the afternoons with 2 babies, sounds like your dong so well. OMG just read your new post, you poor things. Grrr at Brent sometimes when they have a few drinks, they just can't see past their own selfish wants.
christine - LOL at the car keys! i fell better about the bed situation now thanks! I would love to keep him in the cot til hes 10, much easier.
sheree - great to hear from tania, glad everything is going well for them. hope you are feeling a little better, big hugs, have been thinking about you often and hoping you are okay.
kim - sorry to hear you are having such a rough trot, great that you and your little buddy have got are in a routine now, that must make the days easier to contend with.
shazz - Gl with Ryan's needles.
We have a little tantrum thrower in the house! i think he is starting to near those terrible twos. he had a sleepover at Nannas house on saturday night and of course was a complete angel for her, not one single whinge and slept perfectly 7-7. naturally i was up with him half the night last night, poor thing had shoking reflux, was chocking and coughing really bad, will up his meds tonight, hopefully that will get it under control. he has stopped eating too, he has become a bit fussy and eats hardly anything compared to the kid who would eat heaps all day long. he is the weight of a 2 year old so im thinking his growing might settle right down for a few months. got the CYH 18 month check tomorrow afternoon, it'll be interesting to see how he is doing compared to other kids his age.
-
Kim, Shazz , everyone.....
If you would like to donate to my fundraiser you are more than welcome.
Only thing is getting the money. Our bank is with the ING and its hard to direct deposit into. Money order?
Email me and we will work something out.
Back to work I guess.
-
i have emailed you leanne
-
oh forgot why i came on Ryan's stats for 18months
height 79.5 cm
weight 11.3 kg
HC 47.5 cm
and he didn't even whimper or nothing when getting his needle Dam it ... lol only time DAddy has come and daddy was holding him and he didn't make a sound or nothing i haven't live it down yet i made such a song and dance about him having to be there ok i'm outta here
-
shazz - its great that Ryan handled the needle so well, not so great for you DH though.....Archie is getting his 18 month check this afternoon so i'll compare stats later
Oh my.....what am i going to do to try and control my little terror......he is so incredibly strong willed and stubborn (exactly like his Dad) everything i have tried has resulted in him (a)laughing (b) giving me a hug and saying "mummy" (he knows just what buttons to press and when)(c)ripping my hair out (d) tantrum (e) all of the above.
Anyone have any ideas, my thoughts were that if we were consistent enough with "punishment/consequences" he would learn fairly quickly how to behave, not this extremely persistant kid, when we tried to put him in a big bed he kept coming out of the bedroom for 3 hours before i finally locked him in there.....aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh, i didn't ask for a kid like this!!!!!!
Please tell me you all know the miracle answer to this
-
Elissa I really don't know what you can do.
Persistence???
Back to work - will be on tonight.
Hi everyone.
-
Well I have been grumpy as hell and miserable and now I know why!
I did a test at 2pm this afternoon - OMG :bfp: I am shocked! Really didn't think we were this month (maybe that was the hormones taking over) and I was seriously considering not trying next month. I have conceived 2nd cycle for two pregnancies now on Vitex. Unheard of with me, took me 5 months with Lachlan and that was with temping and charting.
Hope this one was meant to be, cause I have been crying ever since I found out! Just am so scared of this rollercoaster ride again.
I am due 3rd July, but have a feeling it is actually a few days before this as I ovulated cd12 and normally ovulate cd16. I have a scan in 2 weeks time and going to try and get some hcg levels done tomorrow.
I had a ceasar last time as Lachlan was breach, and was hoping for a VBAC last pregnancy that ended in m/c, but I think i am a bit over all that now, so will just see what happens seeing as we live so remotely. So 70% chance of caesar and that will be the end of June 2008.
I have been terribly tired since yesterday, but had a huge day though and drinking so many milo drinks - SOOOO NOT GOOD! I def don't want to put on 26kgs this time round.
Hope everyone else is well?
-
:happyforyou: OMG Sheree that is fantastic news. I am so so happy for you!!!!! :happyforyou:

OMG CONGRATULATIONS SHEREE!!!!
I am so happy for you hun!! Stick little one stick!! I'm even more happy that your little one is due on MY BIRTHDAY!!!! Oh what a lovely b'day pressie that would be!!! If you want too use a Doula...I AM YOUR GIRL!!!! I will drive all the way down there just for YOU Sheree!
Well Colby has been full-on today. She has slept for just over an hour all day. And now she won't even go down. I have just left her in the bassinette to settle herself tonight. I have been in and fed her twice but she just wants to lay there and comfort suck. Thank-god Brent was home to take care of Briley.
Shazz - WOW! Ryan is smaller than Briley. How tall are you and your DH??? I thought he would be a big boy!! Good to see that he is growing well though. I still can't believe he is 18 months already! It only feels like last week that we were all having our babies!
Elissa - I just leave Briley to chuck her tanties. Her newest thing is biting herself while she is chucking one. I don't like it when she does that though. Its kinda scary. Like she wants to hurt herself or something. :-(
Hi to everyone else!
Well i am buggered girls. Forgot to take my iron tablet lastnight and i am starting to slow down now!
Off to bed...night!
