Just going away for the weekend. Was meant to be an end of uni thing... pity I still haven't finished that assignment grrrr!
Good luck today Sheree, will be thinking of you.
Morning girls,
Just poppin in to wish Sheree all the best today. I will thinking of you all day Sheree!
Briley and I are still pretty crook today. Had a terrible night with Briley. She coughed from about 12am till about 2.30am. Poor thing. She spewed a few times she was coughing that much. My head a banging from lack of sleep!
Well better try and rest a bit more!
Hope you are all well!
BBL
Thank you lovely ladies.
I am still nervous about today as it is all the unknown, but still feeling way more confident too then I have been - if that makes sense!
Good Luck Sheree! What time is your appointment? I am getting nervous for you!!!
Good luck Sheree. Hope the appt went well.
Back to work for me sigh
Well the scan went well. We have only 1 this time. No sign of a bleed. Only prob is, is that the heart beat was slow at 107bpm. I guess if I didn't have extra information like when we lost our first pregnancy, one of the twins had a heart rate of 109bpm which they told me was slow and sure enuf we lost it. This is going to play on my mind, but for now it is a start, we have an alive bubba, so lets just hope that the heart rate gets stronger. I know Lachlan at the same gestation was 126bpm. I think they like them to be over 120bpm. They dated me at 6 weeks 2 days, which makes me due 30th June I think?
Glad it went OK, keeping my fingers crossed for you Sheree.
Will be back tomorrow for a longer post I have been flat out lately.
Sara- check that the cough isn't whooping cough (I just found out I have it)
nat - hi! hope thing settle down for you!
sheree - what type of car are you getting? oh fantastic news on the scan, see you knew everything was going to be fine! Bub sn't much under the 'safe' heartbeat range, maybe bub was just very relaxed today, you must feel so relieved that there is only 1 bubba.
christine - eeeew on the Whooping Cough! Arch has had a dry cough for 3 or more weeks now, mainly at night though so i doubt it is anything to worry about. Hope you don't take too long to recover from it, do they give you medicine ro anything?
I have had a great day, for the first time in many weeks i went to the supermarket and didn't have an anxiety attack and have to run out of the store! i really think the morning walks and earlier bedtimes are making a huge difference to my state of mind, if only i had of realised how simple i could make things, just hoping i dont slip down again, got my GP appointment on Tuesday so not long til ill be seeing a psych, phew!
We had the house sprayed for spiders today so spent the day at my mums house. We live next door to council land that is full of beatuful big trees so in Summer our house gets full of spiders and Jay is very scared of spiders, so this Summer should be a bit less stressful.
Archie has another molar coming through that has been irritating him all day, he has been fairly evil just screaming and grunting at me everythime i look in his direction, have given him some Pain Stop and it sounds as if he is not far away from noddyland.
My tummy bug is getting better still got a few stomach cramps but i reckon ill be back to normal by tomorrow night which is great cause i really miss eating!
sara - sorry to hear you and Briley had such a cr@ppy night, hope tonight is better for you both.
We are getting a top of the range Hyundai Sante Fe (the elite model I think), with leather seats and the works. Should be nice.
Glad you had another good day Elissa, and keeping those attacks at bay!
I reackon pain stop did nothing for lachlan.
WOW what a beautiful new car!!! you have certainly topped us by far, enjoy it, our last car was a beautiful fairlane with leather seats there is so much i miss about it but it was getting on in years.
Nothing will stop me from my morning walks and early bedtimes now that i know what effect they have on me!
i am surprised that Pain Stop had no effect on Lachlan, it knocks Archie very well so must dull the pain well too, what does wor for Lachlan?? My mum said that my younger sister was a child that never seemed to respond to medicine either, that would be hard for sure.
glad the scan went well sheree
i'll be back ryan is losing the plot tonight
Yeah well I could take or leave the leather seats, I have never been one for leather lounges too, just too sticky, but Wade wanted it and I like all the other extras. It should be luvely....
Lachlan is def one of these kids that nothing works that well for. I can dose him up with Panadol and Nurofen b4 bed and he can still wake up within the hour or two of going to sleep. I have tried this pain stop and it did nothing for him. I do think however that panadol keeps his fevers at bay, but that is it!!!!
Evening ladies,
Well we are both feeling a bit better tonight. Briley has'nt coughed...yet!! It started at 12am lastnight so i hope we don't have a repeat perfomance tonight!
Sheree - Awww Congratulations hun. I am keeping everything possible crossed for you! You just keep positive ok hun. The new car sounds lovely! I've been thinking about trading mine in lately for something a bit bigger. We have a Toyota Camry at the moment but i would like something a little more family suited. Something higher off the ground too cause i am sick of having to lean down into the car to put the girls in!!!
Christine - Yeah i don't think its hooping cough. She does'nt cough as much during the day. Just at night. If she was coughing all day and night i would def go to the Dr's. Thanks anyways!
Elissa - Glad to hear you made it out shopping ok! Won't be long and you'll be well on the road to a happy non-anxiety life!
Hi to everyone else!!
Well i am still quite buggered from lastnight. Off to the Dr's to get my bloods back. I wonder what my heamaglobin(sp??) levels are up too now?!?!?
Well ni night Girls!!
Glad you are feeling better Sara.
I posted my question of the low heart rate on here tonight and I got such a great response. Appears anything over 100bpm is good. Phew relief, and alot of these people had surviving babies of low heart rates, so that is def reassuring.
I guess having the vivid memory of one of my twins loosing the heart rate when it was 109bpm had me worried, but I guess that was just meant to be too and it was going to happen, didn't mean it was too slow.
So I am going to keep thinking happy thoughts for my bub, I just know all is going to be ok now.
Well I am away for a couple of weeks. Going to Mackay a few hours away for gyno appt and paed appt for Lachlan. And like I have said previously going to pick up my new car too (a hyundai sante fe). Can't wait!
Take care all.
Morning girls!
Sheree - Hope you have a great time hun!!! I bet your excited about the new car!
Hi to everyone else!
Well Briley and I are that little bit better today. Briley coughed again lastnight. Ater we gave her a big dose of Robatussen she stopped. I woke up at 4.30am to an empty bed and found brent crashed out beside Briley in her bed!! Lucky its a king single!!
I am back off the the dr's today to get my bloods back. Then i might go and sell some of Colby's old clothes to get a bit of extra cash.
Hope you are all well!
morning all
seeya sheree have a great time away
glad your feeling better sara
how are you going kim over your bug
christine :hello:
Elissa :hello:
everyone else hi too soo it is short and sweet
i'm off to the doctor in a sec i think i may have broke my ankle or really reallly reallly badly sprained
are you ready for a good chuckle
i feel out of my house that is all of one step off the ground :wall: my foot caught the side of the mat and over i went the worst part is this is the third time i've done the same thing though this time is the worst injury i've had ok i'll be back with my foot up later
Oh no Shazz!!! Do you think maybe its time to move that mat?!?!?! I hope your not in too much pain hun!!!
OH MY GOSH yeah sara it is outttta here i am supposed to be washing today lol good excuse not to do it
oh i can't believe how much pain i'm in ... i have had a crappy week i am trying to get all of my certificates together but have misplaced one of my cert lll 's so i ring up who i thought delivered this course and i have been and a round about of phone calls ever since it is just so frustrating not knowing what is going on .. we will see what next week brings ... i was hoping to get off my application before i chicken out
What happened at the doctors?
BBL when Darcy's alseep. Just checking in ATM.
me @ the doctors ?
nothing exciting Ryan apparently has had a reaction to the chicken pox needle she prescribed phnergyn 5 ml each night and me well antibiotics for my infected toe and she laughed when i told her what i had done she didn't even look at it i asked whether i should be on it at all ( i know the answer but i just wanted her to acknowledge why i was there ) oh and i have to be retested for diabetes i have still been checking evey now and then and my BSL are steadily increasing i'm reluctant to take pain killers now when it is tonight in bed i'm likely to really need them
Yes you at the doctors. Poor love. Hope you have your foot up. Type 2 I'm assuming. Hope you are getting some relief. Getting Darcy's done next week when I go home. Mum should have a lovely time while I'm at the wedding lol.
OMG Christine! Whooping Cough!!! Are you all right?
I know you've gone away Sheree, but drive safe and I hope you get some joy at your appointments.
Sara hope the buggies are leaving your house soon too. Took me a while to find you on bebo. I'm very challenged technologically.
Elissa, not long until Tuesday hun. If you aren' satisfied with the service though - go somewhere else. You can always make a self referral (preferred anyway) to the local community health centre. That's how I got my help. I always feel better with exercise too. I took your hint and headed out this morning. Feeling a bit overwhelmed myself this week.
Nat - have a lovely weekend hun.
Tania, how nice is your house?
Us - well we aren't sick this weekend so that's a start. Darcy has pretty much cried solidly all week. I think though it was becasue she was constipated and since she's had 3 poos today she hasn't cried so much. I really have to get off my bum and cook her proper food again. Have been a bit lazy this last few weeks.
She speaks very well and usually communication isn't a problem for us, but she is increasingly frustrated at what she thinks she should be able to do but can't. She definatly has her fathers angry man streak, and I have to say it's one thing I just can't stand about him. I was really hoping Darc didn't get it.
Speaking of talking. Do you girls find that they learn so many new words without you noticing at school? We were reading Darcy's ABC book with the pictures of appropriatley starting things. I was pointing and she came out with horse, tiger, lion, emu, snake, eggy, hands, pencils, - I didn't even know she could say them - I mean she knows what to point to when you say it, but I'd never heard her say them....Cam's going to flip when he comes back. She knows the letters in the ABC song, baa baa blacksheep, shakey shakey - just all of a sudden.
And yet she still can't figure out how to make her trike move lol. Nor did she know what to do with the playdough I made today...I had a good time though.
God bless my husband though. My mobile charger carked it last week and I have just been doing without. I got a whole new mobile in the post today as a pressie.
 :lol:Happy 18 months Darcy, Kaitlyn and the other May 9 bubbas.
Off to mums to use her treadmill. Have a dress to fit into for the Christmas party in three weeks, which is slightly tight across the boobies.
Still waiting on my avatar... :(
my poor boy was crook last night threw up from 8 pm so heres me not being able to walk with a baby that wanted to throw up facing me every time not good ....
Hi girls!
HAPPY 18 MONTHS BABIES!!!
Ohhh poor Ryan. I hope he is feeling a bit better now. So your still hurting hey Shazz?!?! Are you wearing an ankle brace or somthing??? Maybe you should get yourself to the Dr's!
Kim - I still don't have you on Bebo...Did you start an account??? That was very nice of Cam to send you a new phone!! How thoughtful! Darcy sounds like such a clever little girl! They do suprise you don't they!
Well i am coughing coughing and coughing today!! I hate this stage of a cold! Briley well on her way to recovery though!
Hope you are all well!!
Oh Shazz you poor thing, I hope your foot feels better soon and poor Ryan.
Want me to dive up?
Minimiser bra Leanne?
Sara, I have an acocount but can't remember the signin or password and it won't let me access....
Yuck Shazz. Dad thinks I might have had rotavirus the last few weeks, so be careful. Going to the docs on Friday to make sure it doesn't happen again.
afternoon girls Ryan looks like there was nothing wrong with him Now maybe just a 24 hr thing (:crossfingers:)
well i'm glad your feeling better kim rotavirus is pretty full on lots of fluids ...
i'll be going to the hospital in the morning if my ankle doesn't come down in size it is nearly as fat as my head i didn't swell this much pg
lol long drive leanne
Anyone on facebook?
yep.....don't know my sign in though. Look up my full name
der stupid, you're already my friend on there
I was just going to say that KIM LOL.
Hey I am still leaking milk out my BB's anyone know of any herbal remedies to stop it - can I stop it? Or do I have to go to the dr for some meds... Maybe this will help my dress issue.
Good idea about the bra kim.
I think my meatloaf is ready - BBL.
I stopped 6 weeks ago - and I've got nothing...
hahahaha Darcy just ran out onto the grass and the spinklers were on....she didn't know what to do and just stood smack bang in the middle crying getting wetter and wetter. I was laughing so much i couldn't turn the taps off.
oh my, have just found out my sister had a mc on Monday...poor love. They have a 4 year old but have been trying for ages for another....she hasn't told anyone except me and Mum. For those of you who have mc, would a card be inapporpriate - to say how sorry I am for her? I feel usless all this way away....
Kim a card would be appreciated i think i found it hard when people who knew we were pg not to acknowledge it my thoughts are with her and her DH and you too it is hard to know what to say and do but i think saying and doing are very important
Thanks Shazz.
Kim I think a card would be lovely.
I have had a cough which has been going for more than a month so i had blood tests and i have whooping cough! The dept of health had to be notified and the school had to put a notification in the newsletter (no names mentioned just a person who attends the school) I am on the most disgusting antibiotics which make me feel like death, they are so strong, and the worst thing is I don't get any time off cause i am not contagious anymore!!! When i was supposed to be quarantined I didn't know so I was at work etc. My niece has to have antibiotics too but only a low dose cause she has come into contact with me and she isn't fully immunised.
The cough will last a few more months they reckon!
bugger christine hope you feel better soon
