I'm not sure I'M ready! LOL!

I'm scared for her. I'm scare she won't find her way back to class when the bell rings etc.

I'm scared at the thought of her being in the playground alone!

I'm also worried that she herself isnt ready. I hear they have to be able to write their names befroe they can start. Is this right??

Nah Sara not in NSW! A lot of mine this year could but the ones that couldn't learnt soon enough. The important things are can she put her own jumper on or off? Can she explain what she wants if she needs something or is upset? Can she take herself to the toilet? Can she find her own belongings and put them in her bag ?
The big kids all look after the little ones in the playground and help them get to class so that part is fine but I can understand your fears.

Yeh she can do most of those things. We are still working on the belongings bit.

Still another 8 months away yet so we still have time to work on that.

So they don't have a teacher who stays with them all the time while they are in prep?

... i just thought i'd pop in to say i use to be part of this group (don't know if many of you remember me ?? although i know Kim & Elissa do , my DD was born May 2006) and i went to the last years Melb meetup, recent GC ... and i will be at the Sydney one next year

I am going but not sure if I'll stay in town though. I prob should, it'd be more fun!
If any of you need to be picked up from the airport I can do it as long as its after 4 on the Friday (unless I take a sickie LOL)

... WOW i'm impressed great memory there Shazz & pretty close, yeh it's Cendrine .. all's been good apart from our heartbreaking 3years TTC for #2 bub journey which has had to come to an end.
