morning
Tania ~ i'm so sorry for your SIL it's so hard isn't it I remember when we were told as teenagers how easy it was to get pg HA ... maybe for some... not every one is so lucky unfortunately. All 3 of my kiddies are with the help of fertility specialist and drugs so my heart goes out to her
Jodie ~ yay what a bargain alright i always get suckered in to buying the lot
be back later little man has been up since 4.30 am so his now ready for bed and so am i
-
OMG where is everyone it's so lonely in here ......... i'm having withdrawals
Nat, Vic, Kellee, sara, Kim, sheree Ange, Alison hope your all well and are just busy with bubs
Hi Marlea, Tania, Bec & Jodie
P.s Nick has gone back down hill again and has slept for the last 3 hours i hope this passes soon the poor little man he hates being sick and gets so grumpy cause he can't do what he normally does
ok well i hope you all have a fantastic weekend and i'll catch you all next week i have to work tomorrow and hopefully will be doing something as a family on sunday so till then
Oh BTW i can't beleive Ryan is 4 months today time flies so fast in their first year:crying:
-
Shazz I missed you by about 23 minutes! I can't ever get on until the arvo when Darc is really asleep. Poor Nic, I really hope he's feeling better. Good thing about kids is that they get really sick quite quickly but once they start to recover that's just as fast.
Tania and Jodie, great news about both yor photos. We had some done at 3wks old for Darcy and with us as a family. I have ordered probably $13000 woth of photos in the last three years, so I know what I like. Ours turned out great too, but they're too big to scan so I might try and photograph them and see how that turns out. We only got them back from the framers last week. I had an oblong one block mounted - gee it looks good.
Tania so sad to hear about your SIL. Let her know that there are people around the country thinking of her and the angel lost.
Well Ihave been busy doing housework - it's about the first time in 14 weeks that I have my neat house back (DH is on arvos and isn't here long enough to mess it up). Now I wish someone would come and visit so I can prove that it once was neat LOL.
I have a couple of questions -
1. I'm still feeding (a miracle in itself), but should I always have to wear breast pads? I mean I never seem to leak anymore - does that mean my milk's drying up?? I only get a let down when Darcy feeds, and no real leakage. She drinks from both sides each feed.
Oh I forget the other one...I've been repeating it all day so I could ask...grrr...will have to add it later.
-
Hi Girls!!
Tannis - Im really sorry to hear about your SIL. Makes you feel crappy about having been through the whole pregnancy and baby thing. I can't imagine how you would be feeling. Give her a big hug from Briley and I. You'll just have to start poppin em' out for her to play with!!!:D
Our little family is going good here. Brent is going very well at the "dad" role and Briley is really starting to fall for him. She is begining to become really clingy to me though. I went grocery shopping today and left her with Brent. He is on nightshift at the moment and i thought she would just sleep, but when i got back they were both owl eyed!! She never even went to sleep for him.
We went to Target and brought Briley some dangly toys to hang from her pram and a mobile for her cot. The mobile was only a cheapo one but is good enough. She likes it anyways.
I can't believe I am about to say this but......I want to start trying for another baby!! Is anyone else thinking about it??? I'm not sure how it would be looked apon by my family. Brent said he would like to start trying again. My mum said to be the other day that she was'nt suprised that i did'nt have another "gut full" already! Which quite shocked me. Maybe she has finally accepted the role as grandmother at the age of 39!!
Anyways....Hope everyone has a good weekend. I am going to the Cultural Fesitval tomorrow night. It should be good even though i have the same things every year. Chicken curry and honey balls for desert!!
Talk later
Sara

Hey All,
Scrappy - I wear breastpads every day but I get let down even if I think about Mason! Sometimes, if the breastpad moves to one side, I get major leakage! Not a very good look! I suppose if you can be sure that your let down won't happen until Darcy needs to be fed, then you can turf the ol' pads. They're really only to stop leakage when you get let down...wish i could stop wearing them!
One question for everyone....is anybody having trouble with hair loss? A lot of my hair is falling out and I'm trying some stuff from my hairdressers which my mum used when her hair fell out but I'm wondering....is it ever going to stop! I've done some 'research' on the net and it starts happening around the 3 month mark and can sometimes continue for a year....AAARRGGGHHHH!!!
-
Wow Sara. I do miss being pregnant, but due to my body's 'issues' I'm not allowed to fall pregant for at least 6 months and when I want ot I have to go on a heap of meds for 3 months before hand. Good luck when you do start trying though :)
Bec, yep heaps and heaps of hair falling out - Darcy's also losing all her hair so between me, Dh and darcy we should all be bald before Summer is over LOL. It does grow back, but mine's so thick I'm hopin it doesn't
I thught of my other question...
Am I supposed to wash Darcy's clothes in something other than what i wash ours in? I don't but i heard others saying they do.
-
Scrappy - I started washing Mason's in wool wash and then gave up, washing his clothes with ours. If he's not getting irritated skin then all is ok.....

Hi Girls,
Bec: DP's family is a challange but I have had them crowding me since I walked out of delivery and is only just starting to slow up now 12weeks later LOL. I feel very bad for SIL #5 as we too fell PG first go and the whole PG was trouble free. Great to hear Mason is going well!! Can't help you with hair loss I haven't experienced that yet but we haven't quite made the 3 mth mark yet (nearly 12 weeks today already!!)
Jodie: Sounds like you got a really great deal!! Makes me think I got ripped off LOL I dont know how many pics I got all up I haven;t counted hahaha I'll go through them though. Congrats for your gym efforts....I struggle just to go for a walk!! I love Kmarts clearance sales plus the extra discounts, when I was first PG I bought a heap of size 00 tshirts for $2 or $3 each I think he has about 16 tshirts just from kmart in 00
Shazz: Haha we just had to think about sex and we could get PG...yeh right!! I was lucky, but most of my friends have had trouble either falling PG or with M/C one friend had 2 m/c's and 1 stillborn and she finally got a little girl (she's nearly 2 now). I hope Nick gets better really soon!!
Kim: Don't tell me that about the photos....I'll end up doing something like that hahaha and DP will kill me...I haven't told him how much they were, he asked and I just said "they cost a bit.." So we left it at that LOL. I know what you mean about housework, it gets done eventually but no where nearly as quickly as it used to! I have the same thing with leakage, I rarely leak and I never wear breast pads anymore, I only get the let down when jayden feeds and i feed from both sides too. I was certain my milk was drying up but I have been reassured by the lactation consultant that for some that is quite normal. With Jayden's washing I wash his with Lux because I got bought a heap of it from MIL so I will use it up then start washing with our things and see how he goes.
Sara: Good on Brent for taking to fatherhood (more than I can say about some DP's in my vicinity LOL). Not crazy for wanting to start trying for another baby, I think I would too if DP was into it, but I am also happy to wait as I can devote all my time to Jayden, I can multi-task but only to a certain extent LOL.
Thank you so much everyone for your thought with SIL #5, she had her curette today and MIL had called to see how she was going but was still sleeping. I just feel so bad for her!!
We finally got our SLR digital camera today, but the battery has been charging and I went out tonight so I haven't played with it yet. I got SIL #4 to babysit tonight while I went out and DP is on nightshift (YAY) I told her he fed at 6pm and he has been feeding 2-3 hrly instead of his normal 4hrly, but I said he will be due for feed around 9pm try not to give it to him before so he will sleep tonight.......I got home about 11pm and she said she forgot what time i said so she gave him EBM bottle at 7.30pm so I hope he doesn't wake at 3 or 4am for a feed!! Oh speaking of leakage Kim, the other night Jayden woke for a feed and I was pretty full, I fed off one side and the other go the let down and absolutley drenched my tshirt and bra!! Then last night Jayden went to sleep at about 9.30 his last feed was 6.45am.....he slept through and this morning I was VERY full!!! I woke at 7.30 cause thats when he usually wake for a feed, but not this morning.....9.20am I felt he had slept more than enough and my boobs were so sore from being too full so i woke him up. I went to change his nappy and I started to leak again...I have never changed his nappy and got him dressed so fast haha I didn't want to lose any of the milk LOL....he fed off one side and I expressed another 120ml!! So I felt heaps better about my supply even though it had been more than 12hrs since i had fed.
Anyway if I forgot anyone I am sorry I will read through again tomorrow...I am very tired again tonight.
Thanks again everyone...you are all wonderful beautiful ladies!!!

Shazz thanks for your info last night. Appreciate it. Hope your day today wasn't too bad. Thanks to all you other girls too.
Don't know why they worried me, but they did - I cannot wait to find some confidence again.
-
Oh Vic, you poor thing. Hope you get some relief soon (and your sick kids get better of course).
-
Evening all.
We're not thinking of the next one yet for a while. Still trying to get used to this dd! I loved being pregnant though. No morning sickness and pretty stress free. Only gestational diabetes but looking back was not that bad... With my PCOS it could take a while to conceive baby no.2 so we're thinking of thinking about it early next year. Need to lose about 20kgs first!!!! Drs orders.
Does anyone get assistance from family with looking after the house, cooking etc? When I was PG my family was like oh well help you, we'll come and visit, we'll pick you up and take you out, we'll come look after the baby so you can catch up on some sleep etc etc etc. Has it ever happened ? Ahh NOOOO.
Sorry, just needed to vent a little.
My dh and I have decided to see how long it will take before someone from our family actually contacts us by way of phone, email or sms. Does anyone else have the problem with family that if you don't contact people or invite them over you are forgotten about.
Sorry again if I sound like I am whining.... A bit over it lately. :O(
Now about all of you...
Tania, your poor SIL.. I can't imagine what she might be feeling. Please pass on our regards. I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy your digital SLR... We have one and they're so nice to use. I need to learn what all the buttons and gizmos are for still. At this stage I just use the automatic option....
Has anyone tried digital scrapbooking? I'm into it and its addictive.
Jodie. What a bargain you got with those photos.... The other day pixifoto were at the local westfields with the 'baby of the year' contest, where you enter for $4. Kaityln was not in the best of moods (but what's new? LOL) but I thought's she'd behave just this once. Well was I wrong. First she spewed all over me, then all over the photographer and their teddy props, and then she screamed the shops down. I ended up rocking her to sleep half naked (wrapped of course) so we could have her angel asleep pose done. She was frowing that much she did not look at all angelic. Quite a stressed out little angel in fact... Poor thing.... It will be interesting to see how the pics turn out. She could still win LOL. We go on Thurs to have a look and see if they are worth the $495 they estimate the package will be. My dh is coming with me. Needless to say I don't think we will be buying any.
I've never even thought to wash Kaitlyn's clothes in anything other than what everything else is in.... I'd never heard of it.
Shazz - I'm sending prayers up for Nick and hope he's 100% soon... :O)
Well I think my little post is llooooooooong enough.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and may all our babies sleep well tonight....

WOW Do I have too much to catch up on. I will try and flick through the 4 pages briefly (otherwise it would be a huge post!) so sorry if I miss anyone!
Kim ~ Big  on selling the ****ie. I’m sure you’ve made the right decision. And big  on how you’ve been feeling. I had no idea. We are here for you hun. How are things now?? And I doubled my power bill as well LOL.
Sheree ~ I’m so glad that you made a final decision with Lachie and I hope things start getting better from here on in! You sound so much happier already. I hope you’re enjoying your holiday.
Vic ~ Kindergym is basically for myself LOL. A lot of my mothers group go there and we have coffee afterwards LOL. Swimming lessons will be good for me as I’m nervous around water myself.
Bec ~ OMG my hair is falling out everywhere LMAO!!! I have to clean the bathroom up everytime I brush my hair. Its bloody ridiculous and I’m sick of it too!!!!
Tania ~ I’m so sorry to hear about your SIL. Big  for her! Glad to hear that the photo’s were fantastic. YAY for your new camera.
Marlea9 ~ If you want to post your details you can email them to me or post them. We normally only do emails but seeing as I’m in here daily I won’t miss it.
Shazz ~ How is your Nick going now?? You must have been beside yourself!!
Well that is a very brief catch up. I’ve just been so busy lately… will keep up more now I promise!!

My god you ladies can chat can't you! I tried to catch up on the posts, but my eyes are shot ... I will get to them one day, but really no personals today.
I should be in bed, but Scott and Jovi have gone (a while ago) and I got watching Bewitched (the movie) and now Blue Heelers is on Hallmark channel, so I thought I would take the time to post a message for the first time in ages.
Jovi's doing well. Popped her on the scales at the chemist today 5.5 kg ... so she's over 12 pounds now which is just amazing considering the crappy start she had weight wise. But she's certainly growing up our little one ... all (usually) smiles and giggles. Blow rasberries on her belly and she gets histerical. :)
Taking her to the hospital on Tuesday to have her hips rescanned. Hopefully they have fixed themselves as the dr said they would. Then back to our doctors on Friday ... needle time already! Thought it better to make it a Friday so at least if she gets a bit grizzly or has a reaction this time, I will be home and Scott won't have to cope alone. The first lot didn't bother me at all, but whether it's just cos I'm really hormonal this week or what but everytime I think about this lot of needles I just want to cry. Grrrrr stupid woman. lol
The trip home the other weekend was great. Spent some good time at home with the parents and catching up. Took Jovi down the street a couple of times and she's such a sticky beak. Had to watch every car and person that went past, and smiled really cheekily when people said "your a pretty girl aren't you?" ... yes she is and doesn't she know it! lol Dad had a lot of fun with her. She's not so fragile now and he could play with her. The morning we were leaving she was sitting in her bouncer and he was rubbing his head on her belly and she was giggling so loudly and couldn't stop ... it was so cute and funny. I wish we had a video camera so bad! lol But it doesn't take much to make her giggle these days and it's such a cute little laugh.
She's discovered her voice quite a bit over the last week. Gurgles heaps and squeals and talks away ... she's always talking to me as if she's asking me a question then looks at me waiting for me to answer. Ummm ... hellO! I have no idea what you're saying, so I just agree. If she starts looking at Scott's chair I just tell her where he is ... lol
No teeth yet ... just lots of chewing now on my hands and still drooling really bad. I had drool falling off me yesterday and had to completely wash my hand afterwards ... was so gross. lol
Work's going ok ... tend to stay away from people and just do my work. There's one guy there I love to tick off... dumped a massive pile of files on his desk for approval the other day ... Sorry! No hurry and turned and walked back to my desk ... laughing all the way of course. He was not impressed! One of the other b*tches is on leave at the moment ... but the time she gets back I'll have a massive pile on her desk too ... hehehehehehehe
I recall someone asking about the baby naming ceremony we're having. Very simple. Just welcome, introduction, god parents speil, candle lighting, cake cutting, presenting Jovi. I think that's about it. Should take about half hour I think. Having it in the park back where Scott's parents live and then back to their place, which is right next to the park, for nibblies and a BBQ. Nice and simple. Sending out invites this week ... just did them up on the comp. Have a nice photo of jovi in her Souths gear ... such a cutie. If I could get my comp to work properly I'd post the new pics I have on her website ... will have to do it at work when I get a spare chance.
That's all I can think of right now ... hopefully talk to you all again really soon! Bah Bye!

Hey Girls,
Vic: Poor Adam getting sick again, hope him and Mel get better soon!
Leanne: I get a lot of help from SIL #1 but the others tend to come over use up dishes and go home leaving them for me to do. SIL #3 babysat on Friday night for us and I would have thought she might have done the few dishes that were there or put a load of washing on, not that I expect it, but I know SIL #1 would have done it without question. I am still using auto option ATM too I'll work my way up to manual haha It takes fantasic pics tho I can't wait to get some uploaded to show off hehe.
Nat: Where have you been? How are you and Em going?
Beck: How big is Jovi getting!! Well done! How cute her getting excited over raspberries, Jayden doesn't hate them but he doesn't get that excited over them either:( I hope all goes well at the hospital and with her needles. Sound like the teeth won't be too far away (good luck with that haha). My friend is up about 3 times a night now with her daughter who's teething, she is 6mths old, Amber doesn't sleep during the day either so Tracy gets barely any sleep ATM!! Sounds like your having fun back at work even if it is in an evil way LOL.
We went to the beach today for lunch and looked through a new appartment block there...Oh it was beautiful $520k though for 2 bedroom but the spa and toilet in the ensuite even has ocean views it was gorgeous. SIL #1's bday today so we are going over there for dinner and DP is back on nightshift so I get the bed to myself again....just as well seen as Jayden is getting in the habit of waking up early hours (3.30am) but all he wants is cuddles so he comes back to bed with me til I'm ready to get up haha. Well Someone has a yukky nappy so better so change it and get ready to go out tonight.
Hope everyone had a great weekend
Tania

Please excuse my absence – I’m really looking forward to it quietening down around here but every time we think a quiet period is just around the corner life gets busy again! Oh well. You guys have written SO much since I last posted so I know I won’t be able to catch up on everything, but I’ll just do a few quick personals if I can.
Sheree – I’m glad that you’ve finally come to some kind of resolution with bf/ff. You did so well to last this long, especially despite the trouble you and Lachie were having. I’m so impressed! I hope that it’s all going well.
Kim – I’m really glad that you ‘put it out there’, so to speak. We’re always hear for you, and sometimes it’s easier to talk about that kind of stuff to people who aren’t immediate family, etc, because I know you’re probably worried that they will worry about you. We will worry about you too, but feel free to call on us anytime. I had it with Charlie, as you know, so if you ever need a friendly ear, please feel free to email/sms/call me. I’ll email you my details if you like. Re: breast pads – I had to wear them 24/7 for the first six months with Charlie, but now I only have to wear them when I’m actually feeding (for the let down) most of the time. I have thin ones on when I’m out just in case. It shouldn’t necessarily mean that your milk is drying up – yours breasts are probably getting more efficient. If your milk is drying up Darcy won’t be getting enough and will probably want to feed more. I reckon you’re doing ok, don’t worry.
Marlea – hope you found a solution with the formula. I suppose it’s just about hitting on the right combination for Kaitlyn. Yay for the sleeping too! That’s awesome! An I’m so jealous that you get to visit Kim – do you two feel like coming up this way? Sorry to hear that your family isn’t being very supportive either. Wow, if you and Tania could swap for a while you’d both be right!
Sara – yay for your house! You must be so excited. And it sounds like Briley is learning to sleep like a trooper. Good stuff. Yay for wanting ttc again! Good on you. I wanted ttc as soon as the PND stopped with Charlie, and there’s nothing wrong with having two close, so go for it! Vic and Jess are the ones to talk to about that!
Shazz – Poor Nick! I hope he's feeling better soon. Any idea what was causing it?
Tania – poor you with Chris ‘knowing what’s best’. My MIL does that sometimes and it makes me want to slap her! Why do they think that if bubs are crying it means that they’re hungry? That’s ridiculous. Your poor SIL too. That’s terrible news.
Bec – oh dear! Hope you find a solution to your hair loss! Mine thinned out a bit after I had Charlie but I don’t really remember it actually falling out. Have you chatted to your GP about it?
Vic – bugger the sickness! I really hope it all goes away soon.
Baby Crazy – when are you thinking of having the naming ceremony? I wish we could have one too, but DH’s husband is VERY Catholic and if we did anything other than get them baptized I think we’d be in the bad books. Sounds like a lovely idea.
I’m very sorry if I missed anyone – I had four pages to catch up on!
Hopefully our busy period has passed – for a while at least. We had Charlie’s birthday party today and I spent all week organising it, so now I should have a bit more spare time (provided my boys behave themselves!). It went really well and the weather was perfect (we had a picnic in the park). I made a cake in the shape of a kite (complete with tail and everything!) and he loved it – it was just like one that is on his ‘Spot’ DVD and he thought that was pretty cool. We gave him a remote control Bob The Builder truck and a ukulele, and we got our friend to bring his guitar to show Charlie how it’s played properly. It was very cute. Although we’re a bit worried that DH got some food poisoning from today (but we don’t know from what because everyone else is fine), because he’s feeling really sick atm – he is lying down now and has probably fallen asleep so I hope he feels better when he wakes up.
Toby is doing really well. He’s so loud! He’s really found his voice in the last few weeks and he just loves to chat. I bet he’ll beat Charlie to talking! (We’re going to take Charlie to a speech therapist because he can only say four words, even though he understands everything he says and has a few hand signals that he uses to show us what he wants. But I digress…) He going 3 hourly almost on the dot (sometimes a bit longer), which is cool with me. I’m not as anxious for him to go longer (like I was with Charlie) because he’s so calm about it all – feed, nappy change, other side and sleep within about 20 minutes at night, so no problem. We did have a couple of meltdowns this week when Charlie and Toby were inconsolable at the same time after their afternoon naps, which was terrible because I felt like I couldn’t help them, but I’ve figured out how to deal with it now so it’s ok. All in all, there’s not much to report because it’s mainly all good.
Got a busy week again this week, kind of. My aunty is coming over for morning tea on Monday, I’m sure I’m doing something Tuesday but I can’t remember what, playgroup Wednesday, meeting a fellow BBer Thursday morning (she’s got one Charlie’s age and one born the same day as Toby), lunch with my best friend Thursday and a trivia night to go to on Saturday! Ah, the fun never stops…
Anyway, I should go and check on DH again, the poor thing. Hope you all had lovely weekends.

Hi Girls,
Hope everyone is well and has enjoyed the weekend.
Finally Phoebe is getting back into her routine after been quite out of sorts from being sick the other week. Not sleeping as well at night as she was before getting sick, but she is gradually getting there.
No false alarm this time AF has definately returned, was alittle concerned with still BF Phoebe. Samuel was on formula 6 weeks after AF returned. Doesn't seem to have made any difference with her so fingers crossed I don't run into the same probs I had with Samuel.
Nat ~ what's happend to your ticker, with the pic of your gorgeous little man (I bet you have been asked that a million times already). Have you started at Kindergym yet??
Kellee ~ you are excused, but let's not make a habit of this.(LOL) Gee you have been a busy little bee. Do you get chance to sleep?? How did Charlie's Birthday Party go? I bet he got spoilt rotten. Hope DH is feeling better soon. Looking forward to the end of winter myself. Everyone is sick or has been sick. I have had a terrible virus that just seems to come and go.
Baby ~ Hope everything goes well with Jovi at the Dr's for her hip scan. Yes unfortunately it is nearing that time for needles again...Yuck!!
Marlea ~ Welcome to May Babies (not sure if I have already welcomed you or not) I see you DD Kaitlyn was born on the same day as my Phoebe....that's 3 of us who have babes born on 09/05.
Sorry to those I have missed, had way to many posts to catch up on. Take Care Girls. X
-

Vic ~ hope every one gets well soon
Bec ~ my hair has just started to fall out too i remember after having NIck it was really bad but this time it is not so bad hope it stops for you soon
Marlea ~ what you wrote about your family is like reading a paragragh from My life book my mum gives me the irrates she is always helping my brother and my sister out and when i need a hand Nope i just have to deal with everything on my own saying that i moved out when i was 16 my siblings didn't move out till they got married then they both moved back in when their realationships fell apart and then moved out when they both got remarried so go figure i've stayed married to the same person i moved out with at just 16 ""
sorry to any one i have missed
it has taken be all day to get this far Ryan is having a ferel day and Nick is still home not well poor little man hasn't had a decent feed in over a week his just been picking we weighed him last night and his lost 3 kg ( i'm the one who needs too) so we are off to the doctors in a little bit and hopefully gets some answers till later
-
Afternoon girls,
Well I had the worst night with little miss Phoebe last night. Just when I think she is getting back into a routine after being sick, and no 'Mummy I want to test your patience'. She went to bed around 8pm and woke at 11.30, just 20 short minutes after my head hit the pillow. In total she feed 3 big feeds (both sides) between 11.30pm and 6.30am, she was so hungry, she was snorting like a little piggy. OMG what is going on. First I was worried that when AF returned she would pick up on this and begin to reject like DS did, but that didn't happen....and now I am worried if feeding so much at night is a sign that BF isn't enough and perhaps she needs a top up of formula or she is nearing the time for solids. Should I give her alittle more time to get back into a routine before trying anything? I'm going to post a few questions in another thread to see what other BB members think and if they have any advice or suggestions. Girls feel free to add your suggestions or advice.....I had to put my son on solids at around 4months as well as formula as his weight gain was so poor, so not too sure on the definate signs that bub is ready for something more. Wish me luck!!!
Take Care X
-
Bec ~ Good to hear from you and great to hear that work is going okay. I have my fingers crossed that her hips are fine!! DS loves the raspberries on his belly too!! I wish I had a video camera as well. The naming ceremony sounds wonderful. I’m still tossing up whether to have one or not. Who did you choose for your god parents?? I seriously wouldn’t know who to choose… do you have to choose a couple??
Tania ~ Sounds like you had a great day at the beach yesterday – I had to work :(.
Kellee ~ Sounds as though you have been flat out lately!! Charlies birthday sounds great – a belated happy birthday to the little man!
Mummy4Life ~ Maybe Phoebe was just having a moment LOL. Or a night… maybe she got a bit of an appetite after being sick?? I hope you get some answers!!
Shazz ~ I hope Nick is feeling better soon. That pic of Ryan is just gorgeous!! Does anything stop the hair falling out thing. I am loosing so much hair I’m surprised I don’t have bald patches LOL.
I have been here just lurking LOL. Some of you know that there have been several ‘incidents’ in the past regarding people ‘stalking’ me on this site. The situation came to a head yet again but we now have it under control (well for the time being anyway LOL). I guess its just a case of once bitten, twice shy!!
Anyway…. Enough of that! I have spent the day cleaning! I had an inspection and decided to get domesticated LOL. So now all I have left to do is ironing which I will do while I’m watching a DVD. Still trying to work out which one to watch LOL. Other news… my cousin got engaged on her birthday which was exciting and DS seems to have discovered his feet. He thinks they’re amazing LOL…
-
Hi Girls,
Kellee - Hey, how you goin?? You've been rather quiet lately. I have'nt seen you on MSN for a while either. Busy bee hey!! Thanks for your support on the TTC issue, i think i am going to wait until Briley is at least 6 months. I think she should be the centre of attention for a little while longer.
Well i think i can offically say that Briley is in a routine!! I did'nt really even have to do anything, she just kinda did it herself. I think myself lucky! She has really started to suck as her hands and dribble everywhere, which from what i have read from some of you others, it seems normal. She is also becoming very clingy. She won't even let me leave the room for 5 mins in the afternoons. Its worse in the arvo's. She's still struggling with the colic so maybe thats what it is. Poor little blossom! I can't believe how quickly she is growing. She is really trying to communicate with us now. She reaches and try to touch things and love to kick at things with her feet. It amazing watching them change everyday!
Everything with me is going okay. My periods are late again but so things have obviously gone back to how they were pre-pregnancy. I am going back to see Dr this thursday so i'll see what happens there.
We brought a new car today. A 2002 Toyota Camry. And IT HAS AIRCON!!! I just had an old bomb with no aircon before, so now Briley and i travel in style!! I was an excellent buy. I saw it in the paper a couple of weeks ago for $10,000 and thought there had to be something wrong with it to be going for that cheap. Then i looked in the paper again the weekend just gone and it was in there again. I rang and asked why they were selling it for so cheap. He had wanted to trade it in after buying it for $17,000 from the same dealer and they would only give him $9,250 for it. So he thought has may aswell sell it private cause the dealer would only take it back and sell it for $14-15,000. And along i came and got it for $9,500. A bargain!! And its in awesome condition. I was really lucky!
Hope all is well with everyone else. Especially you Neverplan! You seem to be struggling with that bloody flu!! Sweet corn and chicken soup mate, it works a treat. Hope you can get rid of it soon. Good luck!
Will be back on later in the week.
Ciao
Sara

Hey Girls!
Been busy of late, my sister had a baby on Sunday night so been busy organising for that. She's not the most organised person and had nothing when she went in to hospital! Anyway, enough on that. Everyone sounds well - as well as you can be with a young baby! My sister's just experiencing the lack of sleep and I said 'welcome to the club!' I held my niece, Mia and could remember when Mason was a newborn...ahhh, those were the days. When they slept for hours at a time and then only woke to feed.....na, I'd rather have him now, more interesting and lots more laughs!
Ok, here are my answers....
Baby questions

Any rolling over, smiling, 'talking'?
Always smiles at the ladies! Has been saying 'Ah Boo' for a while now and when cries, will cry 'mummummummum' which is very cute but also heartbreaking! Not rolling yet but only a matter of time, standing on feet and sitting with not much support needed.

Baby names given?
Little man, Mase, Bubby, Gorgeous, Master Mason

Well, got housework to do so I'll be off but will chat soon...
Take care all.....

Are you BF or FF and if FF, what formula do you use?
FF - S26. Had been mixing it with S26AR but weaning that out now.
Whats the longest stretch of sleep at night?
I'm so jealous of you ladies... I've occassionally got a 5 hour spurt... but mostly 4 hours
Have you managed to get a routine at all?
sort of. It's not a 'routine' as such... just he is regular in his sleep/eat/play
Any rolling over, smiling, 'talking'?
Starting to smile lots now. Lots of gurgling and occassional grunting. Rolled over once.
Funniest thing that has happened to baby?
Mmmmm... hard to think (sleep deprived). I guess his 3 poo phase. He would do a poo in his nappy, then when I went to clean him a 2nd poo would come out. Luckily the dirty nappy would still be there to catch that one - so I would clean his bum again. Then when I whipped the dirty nappy away - a 3rd poo would come out! All of these were different colours!!! We learnt to hold his legs up for ages until we were sure that all the poos were out.

best thing about having kids
I can't believe how maternal I have become since having Shaun. And to see how happy my husband and family are with a baby... it's priceless. And Shaun's little smile just melts my heart.[/QUOTE]
I had a 'dramatic' weekend. On Friday night my hubby's friend asked me to go to his ex-girlfriend because she was "depressed". Understatement... she had slashed both of her arms from wrist to elbow! After talking for hours I took her to the hospital. They bandaged her up, tetanus shot & psych doc to look at her. They did nothing. Two sleeping tablets & told her to see her GP on Monday! She lived alone, so I had to bring her back to my place to stay the night. Then the next night we were at the b/f's house and she shows up hysterical. Another few hours of talking and she calmed down. Now I have become her "friend" and I'm hoping that I'm not her new obsession. I've had a multitude of phone calls & sms's from her. Spoken to all the "help" lines who say there is nothing they can do... she's just "seeking attention".
I also lost my pda phone (02 mini) at a shopping centre. My sister left it on the boot of our car! I had it all cancelled and got a new sim card, then continued shopping. Get home hours later and discover that someone had found it and handed it to the Aldi supermarket. They worked out how to get into my address book & phoned "home". Phew... I had another year left on the contract and it's a $1300 phone! And I hadn't backed up all the phone numbers or appointments!!! Thank god it's back. My sister will be a little more careful in future.
I love the questions... and hearing about others. We should do more of these things. A good "get to know" mum & baby.
About to go to Maternal Health nurse now. Find out how much Shaun weighs. I think he's off his milk a bit. But he is sleeping a lot more than he used to. Phew!
-
Marlea ~ Good to hear DH gave you a night off. Did you get the house cleaned lol??
Shazz ~ LMAO @ Ryans funniest thing. I can just imagine it!!
Bec ~ LOL @ your sister not being organized. When I went to visit my SIL in hospital she was waiting for my brother to bring her back clothes as they hadn’t even bought any in!!
Jodie ~ Oooohherr @ your weekend. Sounds dramatic indeed. And thank god someone handed in your PDA phone. I would have been panicking as well! The numbers would have been the worst. I thought I had lost my purse a few weeks back and the worst part was I had no idea what I would need to replace… I’ve since photocopied every card in my purse so at least if it is stolen or goes missing I know what I have to replace.
Well we’re having guests for dinner so I better get a move on. I was cheeky and cooked it all yesterday (spaghetti) so there’s not too much to do tonight. DS has been awake for 4 hours now and I swear he’s tired but the little buggar won’t sleep!!
Big  to everyone and their bubbas!!
-
Jodie ~ OMG dramatic alright i've known a few people like that in my time and it really isn't a nice place to be for you take care and woohoo getting your phone back
Lea ~ what a good idea about photocopying everything in your purse i think i may have to do that
night every one early one in the morning
-
Gee the last few days have gone quick - I don't know what I've done with them though. Had a rotten day today - the IL are being stupid again causing me to tell DH what I think, medicare wouldn't rebate a bill becasue the put thr wrong number on it and I missed the BB get together with the local girls cos they changed the location and I haven't been online for a few days! At least it's over and DH and I are still happy and speaking.
Darcy's been doing better lately. I have managed to push her bedtime back a couple of hours and so this am she slept until 6 rather than 4.30. The pastors coming to organise the christening tomorrow night. We have asked DH's best mate to be a godfather rather than any of his siblings 9we will aslo ask my sis and her partner) so that is sure to unleash some more demons.
Nat - poor love why won't that all go away?
Shazz - Ncik must be feeling awful. Thinking of you all.
Kellee - hope the party was fun, bless him and his ukelele!
Vic - Adam's not feeding well?
Tania - Darcy's doing the growth spurt thing too and for a couple of days was feeding a lot (I think you mentioned it Tania)
Bec - congratulations to your sister - I didn't have a bag either! Cam had to go and pack it! haha
Mummy - hope Phoebe's back on track soon
Jodie - I had something I wanted to say but can't remember for the life of me (should take notes) lucky you with the phone. Good to see there are still some honest people.
hmmm my brains fried - theres heaps I wanted to srite....it will come to me in the middle of the night I'm sure. I'm so sorry everyone else.
I'm sorry for the lack of personals in detail - just so tired atm.
These are great q's Vic
Are you BF or FF and if FF, what formula do you use? - still BF yay! as long as I can too.
Whats the longest stretch of sleep at night? - Darcy or me? She gets 5/6 but over dinner so I only get about 3 at a time.
Have you managed to get a routine at all? - yep it's the sergeant major in me
Any rolling over, smiling, 'talking'? - has rolled since 4wks old, smiles a lot, and Marlea9 says she's going to be a politician - she loves to stand up and say her piece! LOL
Funniest thing that has happened to baby? - Her bottom lip comeso ut and quivers when she is going to cry - I laugh at her all the time (mean mummy!)
Baby names given? Darc, puddin (naughty Daddy, don't want ot be causing body issues already), fairy (nanny) and Darcy the Dragon (mummy)

Hi Ladies,
Well, I have had a pretty rough day. Briley has been very upset most of the day. Not sure what's going on. She just starts crying then just starts screaming at the top of her lungs. I'm thinking its wind. She had a spat at mums this arvo so we put her in the car and drove to get some dinner and i brought some kids panadol for her and that and the drive seemed to settle her down a bit. We went to the Dr. today about the conjuctivitis again and he sent away a referal to a specialist at the hospital cause he thinks she has a blocked tear duct. I didnt think it would come to this. I've only read about this sort of thing. Ohh well hopefully it will finally put an end to it.
Lea - What's the deal with the "incidents"??? I must've missed what was happening. I just caught a bit from your last post. Someone stalking you???
Tannis - Sorry to hear your having a bit of tough time. I know where you coming from mate. Its all worth it in then end though is'nt it!
Well i suppose i better answer these cool question and head off to bed. I'm buggered. Since getting my computer back i have been sitting up till 10.30-11pm on the internet. Naughty Naughty!!
Baby questions
Are you BF or FF and if FF, what formula do you use?
I was breastfeeding at first but had a few issues so i decided to put her on formula. She is on Heinz Nuture 1 Starter. A friend recommended it and Briley took to it straight away.
Whats the longest stretch of sleep at night?
12 hours!!!:)
Have you managed to get a routine at all?
Yep...just recently actually. Briley has a shower with mummy, has her bottle and then goes to bed at about 9pm and sleeps till 5-6am.
Any rolling over, smiling, 'talking'?
Lots and lots of "cooing", babbling, calling outs and squeling!! No rolling yet though. Not sure if she'll get the chance to roll from her stomach to her back as she does'nt like being on her stomach at all!!
Funniest thing that has happened to baby?
Nothing really that has just happened to her. But to her and i. We were at the show in Townsville and i decided to try her on formula that night. So i made her a bottle while sitting in the grandstand. She drank the whole bottle. So i burped her and she was just laying in my arms nice and quietly. I gazed down at her lovingly and she did the biggest power spew right in my face and all over my clothes. I had spew all in my eyes and everywhere. Man it was funny!! We were all POL!! Poor ol' Briley did'nt know what to do!
Baby names given?
Bubba Girl, Bloss(short for blossom), Bunz(short for honey buns!), Miss Moo, Baby Girl and Dumpling!!
Mum questions
Favourite food?
Tacos, Wood fire BBQ's, Roast Dinners and really cold coke!!
Where would you most like to be right now?
Settled in on our farm!! Surrounded by our animals. I can't wait. We all can't!!
Favourite TV shows?
House, Greys Anatomy, Medium, Some reality shows, Crime shows, Deal or No Deal and Wheel of Fortune!!
Best thing about having kids?
Having them!! I can't wait to go back for round 2. But don't quote me on that. It could easily change when my waters break!!
Well...that was fun!! Thanks Vic. Hi to everyone and i hope all is well with you all.
:bedtime: now
Talk to you all tomorrow.
-
Shazz ~ A friend mentioned the photocopying idea to me after I relayed my 'almost lost my purse story' LOL. I thought it was good too.
Sara ~ I hope Brileys conjunctivits/blocked tear duct is sorted out for you soon. I have had several issues with DP XW (and accomplances) stalking me around the threads. I see you like Tacos - have you tried the McDonalds El Maco... it taste just like a taco lmao!!
Kim ~ Grrr @ the IL's and damn about the meet. I know you were looking forward to it as well. I know it took me a bit of nerve to go and meet people I'd never even met before LOL and if that had happened to me I would have felt so silly. You won't let it affect going to the next meet will you?? And ROFL @ your fave foods... or hated foods!! You always manage to put a smile on my face hun!!
Tannis ~ How are you hun??
Well my little man is asleep - don't they just look like cherub angels when they are sleeping... I should go to sleep myself. In fact I am heading there right now!!
Big hi to Kellee, Vic, Ange, Marlea, Jodie, Bec, Sheree and anyone else my baby brain may have forgotten LOL...
-
Morning Girls,
Kellee: Happy birthday Charlie (sorry its late!!) Picnic in the park sounds great!! I'm glad it went really well and Charlie had a good time!! Good to hear Toby is going good too and enjoy your busy week!!
Mummy: I hope Phoebe settles down again for you! I agree with Nat maybe she is just making up from being sick or the dreaded growth spurt that all these babes are going through LOL. I keep getting told to let them go at their own pace and they will get themselves into a routine....easier said than done though when your up all night and all day. I am lucky because Jayden sleeps really well at night but hardly anything now during the day.
Shazz: How is Nick doing? I hope he's feeling much better 3 kgs is a lot to lose in a short time!!
Nat: How did your house inspection go.....that is one thing I don't miss about renting! DP and I renting for 8 yrs in Melbourne, it didn't bother me cause I like moving house etc but the inspections were the worst!! Esp because we have 2 dogs and a cat that they didn't know about haha. Congrats to your cousin and Em finding his feet! haha. I had my first daysince Jayden was born that I just thought " I can't handle this anymore" I think I overreacted a bit but everything I think is ok now...Aww thanks for the hugs!!
Vic: Hope the kids are getting better. I think you all need to move further north!! Jayden has never been sick and I haven't been sick since I was first PG and I had a bit of a cold!! I love the "getting to know Mum & Bub" questions they were great
Sara: Congrats on the car, what a great price! And for Briley being in a routine!! I swear all our babies are jumping online when we are sleeping and planning their psycho days LOL!! I know now its all worth it but at the time OMG!! haha I hope Briley's eyes get better soon and its nothing too serious. I am usually up and on the internet until about midnight hehe.
Leanne: I glad things have settled down for you and good on your DH for giving you a break!!
Bec: Congrats to your sister, Mia is a gorgeous name! How much did she weigh? A friend of mine kept saying (before she had her bub) that she won't bother packing her bag until she goes into labour cause she will have heaps of time...As she got closer to giving birth she decieded she will pack her bag...lucky she did as she woke up in full labour and was at the hospital and havin a baby within 2 hrs......I made sure afterwards that I was ready for a quick dash.....I had heaps of time though as my waters broke at home before the contractions really started.
Jodie: OMG!! How dramatic!! A bit of drama in your life is interesting but that is over the top I think!! Poor you! How is everything now? Thank god you found your PDA too, I'm lost just without my phone if I have gone out and left it at home! How did Shaun go at Child Health? How much does he weigh now? I tried to get an appt for yesterday but they are booked out until net Tuesday!! Good to hear he is sleeping better for you!
Kim: Sounds like you have had a rough few days too....IL's, Medicare, BB meet, well they say bad things come in 3's so hopefully thats it for you!! At least Darcy has been good for you hehe. I'm pretty sure Jayden was going through the growth spurt as he was feeding every 1.5-2hrs instead of his normal 4hrs. Its so hard at the time though when all they are doing is crying and I would feed him and he would still cry!!
Sorry about the long whinge!!:boohoo:
Our rough few days started just before Jayden and I went to SIL #1's house for her bday on sunday night, he cried and cried all the way there on the way I had to drop into a friends, post a letter and get petrol.....he didn't let up the whole time. By the time we got to SIL's house he was hysterical!! Then I have FIL go "why do you let him cry like that!" OMG I said "I can't pick him up while I'm driving can I!! If I could he wouldn't be this bad now!" Then SIL #3 fed him EBM for me while I ate, he was still hungry and upset so I was going to give him a bath first (to calm him down) then feed him. No thats not how you do it..."feed the poor baby" they say. Then SIL #4 said "The mum knows best" (not being sarcastic) and I looked directly at SIL #3 and said "YES the mother does!" But I went and fed him anyway. He had settled down after that and was going to sleep and SIL #3 was BEGGING to bath him, I gave him to her and said fine go run the bath......You all know by now that DP has a big family so a family birthday is a big affair......well I went up to the bathroom after Jayden had been in there for a while and I COULDN"T GET IN THERE!!! The bathroom was full of ppl watching him have a bath....I heard someone announce a little earlier that J was having a bath if anyone wants to come up. Everyone cleared the bathroom (poor J was getting agitated in the bath form the crowd) but they gathered around the bed to watch him get dried and dressed......Jayden was crying like nothing else by this stage (after I had got him calm earlier) Can you believe there where 11 ppl (not including Jayden or me) in that room watching him.....it was so loud from everyone talking I had to yell over the top to tell them to shut up it is quiet time for Jayden now!! I took him off whoever had him and cuddled him until he fell asleep then SIL's MIL and two of the nieces had him after that. We got home and I fed him so he sleeps through but didn't go to sleep til 1.30am and then woke at 6am. He wasn't too bad in the morning but I got into the shower and thats when it all started!! I had to get out to calm him down I couldn't get dressed I was standing there in bra n knickers trying to stop him from crying, I took him in his room and shut the door cause DP was asleep still. DP ended up coming in and asking what was wrong with him (but didn't offer to take him while I got dressed!!). Anyway I got dressed while holding Jayden and took him back to his room....I felt so bad I just wanted to put him in there and walk out!! I didn't though I sat with him in the rocking chair and he eventually went to sleep. But I just sat there and cried for an hour. DP couldn't understand why I was upset as he had stopped crying. But all day he cried and cried.....it was the first day that I have thought " I can't handle this anymore" DP did end up taking him while I hung the clothes on the line because he knew I had reached the end of my tolerance, so I just ignored them both for about half an hour while I got myself together then I fed him (yet again). We went to a candle party that night and he was (of course) an angel all night!!
Sorry that was so long but I had to get it off my chest!! I feel heaps better now. I have left a fair bit out too haha but its long enough already!! Those questions made me feel a lot better too esp reading everyone elses!!
Hope you all have a great day  to all

Mummy – sleep? What’s that?! Only joking, it’s not too bad. Sorry to hear that you guys have been crook. Hope it all goes away soon. Could the extra feeding have just been a growth spurt? Toby has had a couple of those and I get worried about my supply too. I hope that’s all it was/is.
Shazz – poor little Ryan and Nick. Your poor boys! Hope that they are both on their way back to being their normal lovely selves.
Lea – congrats to your cousin! Weddings are so exciting. And LOL at Em discovering his feet. It’s funny when they play with them when you’re trying to change their nappies. Hey, and where’s your ticker and cute pic of Em?
Vic – Bugger, you guys always seem to be sick! Hope that lump doesn’t turn into anything sinister either. Are you going the GP?
Sara – yay for the new car! I can’t believe your survived up there for so long without an a/c car. You won’t know yourself in summer! And it’s better for Briley too – they can get so hot in the back there. And yay for Briley being in a routine! What kind of routine is it?
Jodie – OMG with that girl. That’s scary. I hope you can remain as un-involved as possible – you’ve got enough on your plate atm without being responsible for her too. Glad to hear Shaun is sleeping more!
Kim – LOL at all your typos – you must be tired! Great that Darcy is sleeping 5-6 hours at a time, but hopefully she’ll start doing it at around 11 at night instead of over dinner… cheeky bugger!
Tania – BIG HUGS to you. We ALL have days like that, don’t worry, but it must have been terrible having your parenting skills ‘on display’ with everyone telling you what to do. I would have given up and gone home – you’re better than me! I would put my foot down and tell everyone to bugger off next time! I agree with Vic – the sooner you stand up to them the better it will be. I used to have some major problems with MIL and the way she was with Charlie but once I started being firm about what I needed her to do she was great. Sometimes I still feel like strangling her but it’s much better. I know it’s hard – we’re here for you!
Are you BF or FF and if FF, what formula do you use?
BF and love it
Whats the longest stretch of sleep at night?
5 hours
Have you managed to get a routine at all?
Yep – thank goodness. The afternoons are the hardest when Charlie is trying to sleep too, but sometimes I’ll just sleep in bed with Toby or have him in the sling (like now), but every other time it’s all very good.
Any rolling over, smiling, 'talking'?
LOTS of talking! He was talking so early and I think he’ll beat his big brother to saying sentences! Lots of smiling too – he’s such a happy boy
Funniest thing that has happened to baby?
Um, I don’t know, really. We laugh at him all the time because he has such great ‘conversations’ with us. I reckon he’s going to have a wicked sense of humour like his Poppa too.
Baby names given?
Mr Toby, Baby, Darling, Bubba, Toby-One-Kenobi
Mum questions
favourite food?
Oh bloody hell. You guys know I’m a bit of a foodie so I don’t really have a favourite. 7 hour lamb roast is up there though.
where would you most like to be right now?
Don’t tease me! Um, probably Europe with DH, taking in the music of Eastern Europe (Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania)
favourite TV shows?
HOUSE, without a doubt (I’m in love with Hugh Laurie, but don’t tell DH that), The Simpsons, Lost, All Saints
best thing about having kids?
They have taught me more about life than I will ever teach them. I know it sounds corny but they have made me a better person. I love the cuddles and kisses and Dr. Suess stories, and especially the giggles and smiles.
Well, not much to report here. Toby had a shocker last night but this morning it became clear why when he had the WORST nappy I have ever seen from a baby – how he could store that much in him I don’t know. No wonder he was upset! Otherwise he’s been going really well – I wish I could find a solution to the problem of putting him down when C is asleep in the arvos but other than that he’s fabulous. Such a happy fella. Oops, I hear an unhappy little man who needs a cuddle. Hope you’re all well.

Evening all of you that I will probably miss tonight. Yep Kellee, I was tired and they get worse when I'm rushing - my statements at work have to be read a few times before I print and sign LOL.
I wanted to write what I remembered from yesterday...
Oh Jodie, you poor love. I really hope she's not still stalking you and they get her some help. Do you have a psychiatric hospital in your area? If she's still giving you grief, it can't hurt to ring them and tell your story. Sometimes they have an assessment team that can help this girl.
Sara great news about the car! Woohhoo for the fantastic price.
Shazz - you champion for getting to work on time!! I used to be such a stickler for getting to places on time. Now I couldn't care less they can start without me if they want.
Tania - OMG! They need to get a life! Sorry, but the poor child is going to be around for like 80years and have thousands of baths. How would they like a cast of thousands watching them???
Well I've had a lovely day today. I did three loads of washing, tidied and did the dishes (6 weeks ago anywhere near that much was unheard of), and hung the washing out. I went to Spotlight to get some muslin for new wraps (Darc has gorwn out of all of hers and I have been using a sheet). They had some fab prints. Then I had a great afternoon with a good friend with lunch and a great bit of cake. Then I came home, went for a walk to get dinner stuff came home, fed the baby, and just like she should she wanted to go to bed at 6.45 and so she is wrapped up and tucked up and went to sleep by herself! A successful day all round!
DH got into a pursuit this am that made the radio and he is still at work charging the 2 pooheads, so I hope he gets home in time to meet the pastor in an hour.....
and Kellee tadah! no typos!!:p

Just going to do a quick post. Fill you in on my latest...
Suicidal girl - seems to have calmed down now. calls & SMS's are dropping off. She's left the ex alone too. Now they are getting to the "she has my fax machine/he has my sewing machine" crap. I spoke to Beyond Blue, Life line & Crisis Assesment Team yesterday. Basically there is not much anyone can do. It appears she has an "attention disorder" - not really "depression". They said I've done the right things... and I just have to be careful she doesn't latch onto me.
PDA phone: When it got lost on Sunday I called Optus who arranged to have the sim & the handset locked. I got the phone back Sunday afternoon, and the handset wasn't locked. But for some STUPID reason - they locked it today at 11am!!! Idiots.
Shaun: He went to maternal health yesterday and he's 60.5cm - which is 11cm growth in 12 weeks! He had a huge growth spurt in the last 4 weeks, as usually he would only grow 1/2 to 1cm. He now weights 6.07kg. He's also got a new nickname - "Flathead". The back of his head is flat - and nurse said he needs more tummy time. Although he hates it; I give him tummy time every day. I can't really give him more tummy time - so I've decided to set up his jolly jumper as he's got really strong head control. Hopefully his head will become rounder. :-)
Sorry... no time to do personals...
but Tannis - hugs to you! I guess there's no way to avoid all that family! Poor thing.

Hey Girls,
After posting my big whinge this morning I realised I never mentioned the great day we had yesterday! Jayden's feeding has slowed down again, he slept better through the night and even had a few sleeps during the day and if he was awake he was happy playing under the gym. So I tried to get into some housework. I thought I'd start with vacuuming my room......3 hours later I emerged!! I wanted to put the valance on the bed but then while the matress was up I thought I'd move the whole bed and vac underneath it, then moved everything in the room to vac under it all then thought I might change the room around (with DP's help) haha if I didn't know any better I would think that I was PG again and "nesting" early!! Today we went shopping (bought more clothes for Jayden) and came home to do nothing!!
Its not good when our bubs play up all day but it is good to know that it happens to everyone IYKWIM. I don't wish it upon anyone but its bound to happen at some stage.
Vic: I am starting to speak up more with them but it is hard because they are so much older than me (SIL#1 just turned 45). I do appreciate advice from them but especially SIL#3 doesn't think before she speaks and I guess what she says comes out wrong or rude! Listen to me making excuses haha I have to tell them like it is!! Who knows a baby better than its mother? You know when Adam is hungry or tired or just bored!! Those questions were great what other ones can we do? LOL
Kellee: I will def tell everyone to bugger off if it happens again haha hopefully I don't have too, I think they got the message after I had to yell over the top of them. I have a lot of patience when it comes to DP's family! Good job on getting MIL to butt out LOL my MIL is probably the best out of all of them! I know you are all here for me, and even if you don't read when I whinge its good to get it off my chest anyway haha Poor Toby with his full nappy haha, I'm lucky Jayden doesn't poo often or a lot!! We have had a few explosions though.
Shazz: Aww Nick's a trooper!! I'm glad everything went ok and good luck with the results on Friday!!
Kim: Sounds like you had a great (and busy) day today!! Ooo a pursuit how exciting....probably not for your DH though haha. Did he make it home in time? How did it go with the pastor? I took photo of everyone gathered around Jayden when he was getting dressed I'll have to get it up so you guys can see it!!
I just found out today some ppl DP knows had a baby last week and they have found out he has down syndrome poor thing! They are only young too, he would be about 30/31 not sure how old she is (I don't know her) but prob around the same age.
SIL #5 is now looking for more egg donors so she can try again, which made me think if I would donate mine. I don't think at this stage I would as I still want more babies (or at least 1 more). But what about everyone else? Hyperthetical(sp?)
Would you donate your eggs to someone in need?
If so how close would that person be to you ie: Sister, SIL, Friend, Stranger etc.
Ok I have gone on and on for too long again haha
Have a good night all.....and all you bubs sleep well all night!!
