Sheree, it's a good idea to document it all. Even if her rights himself in many years you'll be able to show him what a torment he was and how much you gave him when he tries to put you in a nursing home! Only joking. Documenting it really is a good idea, because you do forget.
-
definately write it all down sheree

Evening Girls...
First things first...
 for you Sheree, Wade and lachie and GOOD LUCK!! I am really sorry that it has come to this for you guys. I really hope that all works out for you and that lachie gets gets nice and fat for you soon. Here's another hug from Briley and I
Well Briley, Brent and I are in Cairns this weekend. Mum decided to go up for some relaxation and to visit my cousin so i decided to follow! We have been down the night markets tonight for dinner, an ice-cream and a wander around on the esplanade. We are going to sugarworld tomorrow which is lots and lots of waterslides!! I can't wait to take Briley in the pool with me..Don't worry i'm not intending on taking her on the slides with me!!
The needles went ok yesterday. I still cried though. Even with Brent by my side. We also got Briley weighed and measured. Weight is 6.3kg. Height is 66cm(a growth of 5cm in 3 weeks i might add  ). Head circumfrence of 41cm. But other than that she is growing well.
Kim - Glad to hear that things are looking up for you and Darcy. Briley had a good one last night too. She went down at about 9.00pm lastnight and slept through till 8.30am this morning. She even slept for 4 hours in the car on the way up here. We have just got home for the night markets and she is down for the count now so we'll see how tonight goes. Hope it continues on this streak for you.
Hi to everyone else...Hope all is well for you all.
I am off to bed now. It's late and i am tired.
Talk to you all tomorrow...
Ciao
-
well done Adam i how i wish Ryan would copy you and be a good boy
-
Night i'm off to bed now we are in for a shocker tonight Ryan has been screaming for hours been on the boob for an hour sucking for a minute then resting for 10 ( i have plenty of milk i think - i have been getting the let down feeling ) but he also had a 160 ml bottle and has just passed out for daddy he ahas been jamming anything and everything into his mouth then screaming some more so these teeth better make an apperance soon other wise i may pass out from sheer exhaustion (sp) nite
-
Oh Shazz, I hear ya.... Last night Darcy wouldn't settle after her feed at 12.30 so I picked her up to nurse her as we weren't at home and I didn't want her to wake anyone. She takes one look at me and did the biggest projectile vomit I've seen for ages. She never spews, never. It was in my bra, down my belly and legs - gross! SO another night was ridiculous.
She's ok in the day and sleeps well, just not at night. I can't feel teeth, but she has to be the hottest kid I've felt. Tonight's not starting well either, but since this is night 9, I'm kinda getting used to it. Does anyone else have a wriggler? I mean a real wriggler who cannot slow down for one minute of the day. It's why she's so hard to get to sleep.
Cool trip Sara. I wish we lived closer to nice places.
-
Kim, my child is the ever ready man he almost needs a sedative to relax and I reackon this is part of the reason he doesn't feed well and is very hard to get to sleep like Darcy too! He has a terrible rash on his face atm, and the more he rubs is the worse it gets, it just look horrible, poor thing, it is just sooo itchy!!!!!!!!
-
This might sound a bit gross Sheree, but at 8pm on a Saturday what else can you get?
Have you tried putting a bit of saliva on the rash? It really does work to stop itching.
Hey you lot, how am i supposed to tell if the Dargon's teething? She always drools heaps (since she was born) and is always hot. She copped a bit of panadol tonight for good measure cos nothing else was working. I can't feel teeth.
-
Thanks Kim but I have some Qv ointment, it worked last time, doesn't seem to be working its charms this time, but am pasting it on once he is asleep so it isn't rubbed off!!!!
Does everyone else still have to nurse their babies too sleep, should he be more progressed then this by now, I think he has gone to sleep all of 3 times in his life by himself!!!
-
morning everyone
Kim ~ NO Fear Darcy is teething alright it is just the million dollar question as to when the little blighters will poop through ...fun isn't it these babes should have come with some sort of toubleshooting guide ...but noooo ... lol i'm hoping Ryan will get all his teeth at once give me a week of pure nightmareish behaviour and be done with it ...
Sheree~ i have started to nurse Ryan to sleep as he fights it every step of the way problem being is i now don't know how i will stop cause he just won't shut his eyes otherwise but he kills my back as he is so heavy
-
Isn't it awful when you've walked around and around nursing and they're still fighting you and going all stiff, and then they won't even let you sit down?
Did you sort your supply out Shazz?
How's Lachi going food wise Sheree? Darcy prefers to be nursed ATM too, but she used to be really good at putting herself to sleep. I'm going to hpe it returns, hence I persist in wrapping her so she knows the expectation hasn't changed. In the daytime she's better. I have the wrap in the cot we go in and put the dummie in, wrap, tuck her in, I say night night I love you and kiss her forhead. I tell her I'll just be outside and turn on the mobile. If she's quiet I go out, if she's fussing I pat her leg and put mu other hand on her chest. Usually that works. I say shhhh a lot. Shazz taught me how to do it. :)
Leanne hows the spots going? You still good for Tuesday?
-
Yay Adam! Well done. I remember when Katy first slept through I woke up that many times wondering 'is she still breathing?'.
This week we have not had much luck with it though. Grumpy pants Katy we call her at the moment. Nothing will settle her between 8 and about 11:30, but she ususally then goes to sleep for a few hours so I really should not complain.
Kim: The spots aren't really there anymore so I am thinking it might have been heat rash the other day...
BUT ..... I did speak with my SIL and my GP and if she does get them the spots will come mid to late next week, so it's been advised that I stay away from babies etc. The last thing I would want is for all the babies on Tuesday to get the Pox ~ esp seeing as we're all started teething. That's a challenge enough.
Shall we catch up the following week maybe? I have those overalls for Darcy and a few other things if you are interested. A friend of a friend gave me 3 shopping bags of clothes on Thursday. I don't think my DD needs 7 pairs of OO jeans!!!
Enjoy your Sunday girls - any Bathurst fans?
-
Oh No, that's a shame Leanne. Yep the week after is good. I've been waiting to see about the spots cos I want to come over. Ah well tis the season.
Cameron has been glued to the TV since 7am. He NEVER gets up that early. In fact about 7.15 I could smell toast (I've been sleeping with Darcy in the spare room upstairs). I thought it must have been the unit in front of usLOL. He didn't go to bed til after 2 either after work so I can't imagine I'll get much useful conversation today.
Mum and I went through a few bags of my sisters old stuff yesterday - got some beaut hand-me-downs that she'll never ever get into again! Like having all new stuff. Best part is she's one of those people that either buys too small with great hope or wears sometihng once and then never again.
-
Kim ~ my milk came back thank god i fed him constantly for 2 days and now his happy again
bbl
-
I love hand me downs for Kaitlyn. I think we have bought three outfits for her total and the rest are gifts or hand me downs. Her cupboard is full to overflowing and I don't think she'll even be able to wear them all. Hope it keeps up.
We're having a hard day today. Katy won't stop crying. I have finally managed to get her to sleep just now after a two hour battle. She has not been like this in the day for a long time ~ it's like she's in much pain. Her hair has gone to ringlets from all the sweat thru crying. Poor little mite. It's a hot day outside so have the AC on, but she's still overheating.
Any ideas. Could it be the Pox? I guess time will tell. I hate waiting.
Kim: Depending on how Katy goes the following week sounds good. Not doing much, so c'mon over. It's been ages.
Is Cam watching Bathurst? Mark's at work so is taping it, but is getting updates on the radio so am not sure how much of it he'll actually watch.
Anyway, better grab some lunch while my DD is napping.
Will check in later.
-
Lachie is out of sorts today too Leanne, he has had 3 sleeps already so it can't be that, he just wants to be nursed all day, and when I say nursed I mean yep standing up moving around as soon as we sit down with him, he starts crackin!!!!
-
Sheree: Some days its hard eh? I don't know what to do with her today. Luckily she's been asleep for almost 2 hours, poor thing must have exhausted herself.
I keep going in there checking to see if any spots have appeared. I'm a shocker aren't I?

Afternoon Ladies...
Well I think we have our first tooth coming through although i am not quite sure. I can definetely feel a lump there. Its the bottom canine. It could me nothing, but i am sure it was'nt there before. We will just have to wait and see what happens with it. Could be the cause of those rough nights we had last week. Briley slept through both friday night and saturday night which was good. She fell right foward again thismorning but in front of me this time...Bloody scared the hell out of me. I thought she was going to topple straight out of the rocker!!
Nothing else much to report. We are still in Cairns. Had lots of fun at Sugarworld yesterday. Mum brought Briley the cutest pair of bikinis yesterday and she looked adorable in them. She did'nt want to give them up when we got the cash register!! I tried to put her in the pool but the water was way too cold for her. So she just layed around under the tree on the blanket in her bikinis.
Oh well...I am buggered...might come back on later, see how i go.
Hope you are all well...
Ciao
-
Not a shocker Leanne. Cameron got shingles (a variation of the virus) when I was 8 weeks preg. I was PARANOID, can't imagine I'd be any better now.
-
happy 5 th month to Darcy and Kaitlyn and Phoebe for tomorrow
-
Oh Thanks Shazz, same too to Kaitlyn and Phoebe!
It's our wedding anniversary tomorrow too!
-
happy anniversary Cam and Kim
-
Happy Anniversary Cameron and Kim.
And Happy 5mths - DARCY, Kaitlyn and Phoebe!
Ohhh I am so excited I just found a thread, been googeling all day and think I know what Lachie has - It is called Dysphagia, I would post the link but don't think I am allowed to here, wish I could so you could all read. I am so pleased that there are others who have the same problems, think these ladies are overseas, but just makes me feel better IYKWIM.
-
Kim: Our Kmart here is not too bad for boys clothes but is heaps better for girls clothes. I bought Jayden 2 sets of top and shorts yesterday from Target and the shorts are soft…I didn’t look at girls though. Kmart have light pink and dark pink shorts that are soft for $3.99 each and they had some patterned ones too for I think $5.99. The new ticker was created because I am starting to get excited about xmas …..I can’t wait to see Jayden’s face with all his new toys he is getting….our bubs are at a great age for their first xmas too. Jayden has his wriggly days haha yesterday was one and today he wasn’t…It never stops him from sleeping though LOL. Jayden never lets me sit down either when he is upset/tired I have to keep walking and rocking etc.
Vic: I found red shorts for boys at Kmart too for $3.99 which was exactly what I was looking for but they only had size 1 Grrr!! Yay for Adam sleeping through the night…What a good boy….hopefully last night was the one off and the sleeping through is his new thing LOL. How is Mel and Adam after their needles?
Sheree: I have a bad memory too, I have either written down or put in my phone every feed Jayden has..the time and the length of feed which side he started on. I was also tracking his nappies for a few weeks last month and at one stage tracking his sleep. It felt strange when I stopped doing it….Not going to stop tracking his feeds just yet though. Has Lachie’s rash settled down? Do you know what is causing it? I have to nurse Jayden to sleep…He used to put himself to sleep then he stopped…now I am trying to get him back into self settling. He had always put himself to sleep when we were shopping but he has now started to cry/whinge till I pick him up when we are out too :( . Did Lachie settle down after I had been talking to you earlier? I have days where Jayden won’t let me out of his sight…its very frustrating. Can you send me that link either MSN or email please?
Sara: Hows Cairns going? When are you coming home? I can’t believe how much Briley has grown!! I can’t remember how much Jayden grew in the last month ( I can’t be bothered getting his book LOL)
Leanne: Great to hear the spots have gone….:crossfingers: they stay away hehe. I have bought so many clothes for Jayden, this week I have layby’ed 4 sets (tshirt and shorts) for him for xmas and bought 2 sets and 2 rompers….I think that’s all LOL he also gets hand me downs
I’ve been up since 6.30am, had half the house cleaned and shopping done by 10am. DP looked after Jayden most of the morning except for changing and feeding of course….He didn’t do much but it was a HUGE help to me…he is slowly getting better. I had my candle party this afternoon which was great!! It was a little chaotic (sp) with a 4mth old, 7mth old and a 3yr old here although Jayden has been an absolute gem for me today and with all the inlaws here I didn’t have to do anything…I even got MIL to give him a bottle (I had some EBM that had to be used). My spotless house is not so spotless anymore :( Ahh well gotta see the positive side…I won’t be bored tomorrow LOL. I haven’t even had dinner yet, DP is asleep already too and Jayden has just been fed and is now in bed…..so its just me, the dogs and the cat that has to eat.
Have a great night all

Dysphagia is where they can't swallow - right? Funny that you mention that, but I alsway thought that too (Kids Hospital remember). However as it's a neurological thing (old people sometimes get it after a stroke), he could also have a narrowing of the oesophagus. Are you still going to hossy today?? Probably won't see this - I'll send you a text.
I thought your computer had broken Tania! LOL. I did get a pair of the patterned shorts and a cheapie Tshirt. I just refuse to pay $10 for something that cost $2 to make and she's not going to wear long. I had to still get the 000 though even though she's 00 for everything esle as she's such a skinny minny.
Cool a candle party I've never been to one of those.
Darcy's still not sleeping at night well. Last night she started to scream after an hourso I went to get her some panadol. Well I gave her .3ml and she shut her eyes, so I don't know. She still sleeps with me about half the night. Mainly so I don't have to go in there every three minutes. Twice last night she got herself totally unwrapped and laughs when you go in there, but by the time I wrap her up and cuddle her she goes straight back to sleep, but not if I leave her in her own bed  I JUST WANT SOME SLEEP........
Her CC is still dreadful. I went to the chemist and he gave me bath oil, cream and some omegas for me to take. He said it should help with my dreadful skin ATM too.
Does this sound unreasonable? SIL and MIL wanted to get Darcy a cabbage patch kid for christmas cos it had her date of birth. I said wouldn't it be better to get her something she can actually play with in the next 3 years? They got all huffy. I couldn't care less about it's birthday and I want to buy her first CPK (when she's about 5) as she's my little girl. Am I being ridiculous? Be honest.
-
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIM & CAM!
HAPPY 5 MTHS DARCY, KAITLYN & PHOEBE!!!
Kim: No broken computer here LOL how come you thought that? I have a spare computer anyway so if my pesty dogs do anything to the laptop I still have the PC I can use (I just hate using the PC). Some of Jayden’s clothes I have paid way too much for but most I get on sale or clearance (the bonus of going shopping all the time). I paid $25 for a all in one, beanie and booties that I knew he would only wear once, I thought it was too much but bought it anyway cause it was gorgeous then I found out someone else I know had bought the same thing but paid over double that! So I felt better, and I squeezed him into it for a 2nd time too LOL. That narrowing of the oesophagus(pyloric stenosis) is what the paed though Jayden had when he was a few weeks old…luckily he didn’t though. Poor Darcy must be teething then….Do whatever you need to do to get sleep I think…if that means having her in bed with you then just do it! I don’t do it anymore but Jayden is getting better at sleeping through, last night he was asleep at 9.20pm he stirred just before midnight so I put his dummy in then I woke up leaking at 7am….I expressed 180ml then Jayden woke at 7.30am….I wish all nights were like that LOL. I’m not sure what else you can do for the CC, is it thick or just a thin covering all over? I’ll see if I can find out any other remedies (other than bicarb ;)). I don’t think you are being unreasonable with the CPK….Your baby, your choice….My inlaws told me not to buy ANYTHING for Jayden between now and xmas (in case they want to buy it). I said too bad, I had a list before he was born and I didn’t get anything from it…so I’ll buy want I want for my son LOL.
Today I have a small amount of housework (cleanup after the party) and a little washing to do but otherwise nothing. I will be on standby for Sheree if she needs moral support (if Wade can’t get in there). I might add some more pics to Jayden’s website.
Have a great day all

-
I was only joking Tania - you just hadn't been on in a couple of days and I missed you! LOL.
The cradle cap isn't really thick just very very flaky and red/inflamed. THe oil and cream seem to have helped already and I started my tablets so here's hoping.
Is Sheree still going to hospital today?
Oooh and I got my toenails painted - next goals are bikini wax and hairdressers appointment. I'm getting a bit selfish. I made the poor child wait for me to blowdry my hair this morning.
Gotta love my job - I'm supposed to be in court this week. Lucky I blowdryed my hair, but my mum has had to go north to see her brother whose really sick, so if I'm called I have to take Darcy (Cams required for the same matter) - I'd rather do that than leave her with the inlaws.
-
LOL Kim, I thought you might have been but with my baby brain who knows what I said haha. Awww how nice it is to be missed hehe
You may have got the same text I did from Sheree not long ago but they are going in at 2pm and staying for 2 nights now so they can monitor the feeding over a longer period.
I hope the tablets work for you...well for Darcy LOL. Your not being selfish, you have to look after yourself too...I should do things like that but I never really have except getting my hair done because SIL#4 is a hairdresser so I get it very cheap or sometimes free!
Are you back at work? I don't think I knew that.....Hmm or is it baby brain kicking in again. Are you able to take Darcy with you? I'm picturing you in a court room with a baby on your lap LOL
Jayden is laying on his doona in front of the TV watching Winnie the Pooh...I think that might be another favourite....He has had his Charli (Hi5) fix this morning too LOL
-
Hmmm, good idea Vic.
No Tania not back at work until March hopefully, but it would be a recall. At least 4 hours overtime pay. And yes I'd have to take her. Lucky she doesn't mind policemen cos she's too noisy to take into court, esp with a jury. She'd had to be looked after by one of the others while I gave my evidence. I don't think I'll hve to though because Cam will be required and it's rare for them to call a married couple.
I've also updated my website with a new photosite and new piccies. I'm so proud of my christening invite, i put that on there too. :)
-
As if you didn't already know Kim...But Darcy is gorgeous!! I love the christening invite too, you have done a great job with it...very creative! It has taken me all day to see your new pics though as I have been uploading pics to Jayden's website....It was playing up on me and would only let me upload one pic at a time and each pic was taking at least 15-20mins to upload....Not happy! Jayden had a 2.5hr sleep so that helped LOL then the dog threw up....that didn't help LOL.
I have been burning my aroma melts that I got from the last partylite(candle) party I went to.......OMG my house smells yummy!!!
-
Thanks Tania. I think we've got the best looking bubbas thread all round though. Darcy slept for two hours today too. She also put her foot in her mouth for the first time tonight.
Isn't it funny how if you don't keep track or concentrate you get much more done? I've dusted, made dinner, cleaned out Darcy's wardrobe, blowdryed my hair, done three scrapbook pages, updated Darcy's website.
You should see my beautiful flowers - Cam buys me lilys like my wedding bouquet.
Vic I bought an external Harddrive, but now i can't figure out how to load the stupid thing? Can you help me out?
-
Happy Anniv. Kim and Cam!!!!
Happy 5 month birthday Darcy and Phoebe.
Today we swapped Kaityln's car seat to forward facing. It's still tilted back a bit though. She loved it. She was all chat chat chat.
UNTIL . . . we got home, then it was cry whinge cry cry cry scream..... I noticed a few more feint spots on her chest and a couple on her head where her 'bald' spot is. SO, I think the chooky pox are inevitable. I am far from happy. My mum thinks it may be heat rash, but I dunno, it was not hot today and they were still there while she was in the bath. I've never heard her cry so much - not even in those first few months when it was all she did.
What do you think I should do? Should I take her to the doctor or just see how she goes in the next day or so?
Maybe I am just being paranoid ~ at least that's what my DH thinks.
:(
Kim ~ I'm off to check out your webpage. Please pass on my hellos to all the girls to me tomorrow and make sure you fill me in on the goss.
Be back tomorrow.
Nite girls.

Hi Girls!
Well, it's certainly been a while since I was last on. Jovi's asleep "at the moment" so I'll be typing my heart out. No time for personal's but I hope you guys are all doing well and bubs are all thriving along.
Well ... I'm off work at the moment for a month ... Scott had back surgery on the 28th Sept ... he had a couple of bulging discs that, aside from the constant pain, was affecting his left leg (numbness and tingling). So his Dr put him straight in for surgery. So I've had to take all the leave I had left to look after him and Jovi. He'll still need a couple of weeks after that probably but his mum is going to come over. We get on really well which is good and I will love the help.
His mum came over for a few days when he had the op done and waited until his was released before she had to go home (helps that she's a nurse) and it was wonderful having someone there to share the load.
Bit of a pain now though ... lol ... Jovi is seriously teething now and is chewing on everything like mad! I'm surprised she hasn't popped her dummy yet. Weird thing is though she seems (from the way she chews) that she will get her side teeth first instead of the front ones. Will have to see what happens.
Then of course she is missing Daddy like crazy. He's only able to stand or lie down for the first few weeks and can only hold her this way also with not much movement, and I have to pass her to him all the time. She cries for him to play with her and has just started this screaming thing which is aweful. Sounds like she's really ticked off, and just today sounded like she was saying no and now when she wanted her way.
Bottle feeding has been a bit of a challenge (as she's used to Scott giving her the majority of her day time feeds) and will often not feed unless he's standing right in eye shot. What a pain!
Her sleeping patterns have also changed. Now it's basically - wake up at around 5ish, get into bed with me cos she really doesn't want to get up but wants to snuggle, get up at around 7, bottle, some rice with apple, play, bum change, 1/2 hour sleep ... wake up and start again! She's pretty much cut down to 4 bottles already which is good cos it means I can go to bed earlier now. She's eating at every bottle or between bottles and loves juice! Apple is her fav but she's trying tropical at the moment which she also seems to enjoy.
With her new sleeping periods it makes it very hard to get anything done. You have to be real quick!
Weight wise she's doing brilliantly. She's back on the 50 percentile line where she started when she was born and the day of Scott's surgery she weighed 6.5 kilos. 6 month needles are fast approaching so SHOULD have a proper check up then.
My brother and his wife should have their new little baby any day now. She lost her plug this time last week, but bubba still hasn't shown up, much to our surprise. She has a (almost) 8 year old to previous relationship, and together they have a little girl Abi who just turned 1 in August. Very exciting and I can't wait til he arrives (I know it's a boy, but hardly anyone does ... been keeping it a secret).
Our best friends are also expecting another baby. Their little girl Hallie will be 1 next month and this new baby will be due end of May 2007. There is also a 4 and 6 year old to a previous relationship (to the mother), so they've just bought a tarago ... love it! Very jealous.
Jovi and Hallie were so cute on the weekend talking and playing together ... so cute.
Well, thats about all I can think of at the moment. Will hopefully get back on a bit more often while I'm on leave, but we'll see.
Work sux as usual, but I'm actually looking for a new job ... couple of good prospects ... probably a move in towns (to Forbes if we can ... closer to family and friends). So will keep updated on that front ...
Will talk soon!
-
AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH what have I done to deserve this? I just want more than one hours sleep on my own. Is that too much to ask???? I hate co sleeping, but that is the only time she will actually go to sleep at night. Last night I let her fuss for an hour and a half with no effect at all. I must have run over an elf or something LOL.
Good to see you back Bec. Hope Scotts feeling OK. I used to do those operations and they're pretty nasty.
Cool turning Katy around. I'm thinking we'll have to do that soon, but she's nowhere neare the recommended weight. Her little feet are touching the seat though and when she kicks she kicks the plastic bit - ouch. Hope it's not the pox.
Nah Vic, that's what I thought should happen, but there's no extra drive. Maybe I should uninstall it all and try again.
Well we're off to mothers group today. Can't be bothered washing up after last night - will do it later....

Afternoon Girls...
:happybirthday: HAPPY 5 MONTH BIRTHDAY DARCY AND PHOEBE:happybirthday:
:confetti: Happy Aniversary Kim and Cam!!:confetti:
Its a little late i know!! Sorry...better late than never right!
Cairns was good. It was just nice to get away for a little while even though where i live is like a permanent getaway! It was nice all the same. We went and looked at the night markets on friday night. I have been there before so i was nothing new to me but it was still good. Saturday we went to Sugarworld where i tried to put Briley in the pool but the water was too cold. Mum brought her the cutest pair of bikinis!! She looked absolutely gorgeous!! Then sunday we went to the produce markets to get some passionfruit trees to plant at home and then we went back to my cousins place and just chilled out for the rest of the afternoon.
Kim - What time does Darcy wake up?? Is it early morning or during the day?? How many baths do you give her a day?? I am DEFINETELY no expert but i'll try and help out a little by offering so advice. Now that Briley is over her cold i am back to giving her 2 baths a day. One mid-morning and one just before bedtime. I always use the Johnsons and Johnsons Baby Bathtime on her at night time. I mean all babies are different but maybe you should try giving her a bath before bed. Do you use a dummy on her?? If not, try that. Thats if you want to ofcourse. As hard as it might be...try cut out daytime sleeps if she is having too many. I visit this government website called Raising Children. It has some really useful information if you would like that link. I will email it too you if you want. My advise prolly won't be that helpful but i here if you need to vent!!
Bec - Great to see you back. Your going to be a busy bee for a while then are'nt you. 2 ppl to take care of. Good luck with it all.
Tania - I can't believe how much Briley has grown either!! That's a big growth spurt...5cm in 3 weeks!! Have you been writing everything down in Jaydens baby book. I have been a little slack with Briley's. She has the cutest Peter Rabbit one. I have my moments where i really get into writing things in there and then i leave it for ages. Hope the candle party went well for you. Did you get any goodies for free??
Sheree - Hope all is going well with Lachie. I'm glad you found some information about what may be happening with lachie. Did you say that it was a forum?? That will be good for you if it is. To have ppl to confide in whom are going through the same thing as you are. Keep us updated with whats happening. Give lachie a big hug from Briley and I.
Leanne - NO YOUR NOT BEING PARANOID! Its better to be safe than sorry. I got the chicken pox at 16 and it knocked me bigtime. Not trying to scare you or anything but is'nt it bad for babies to get it cause i can make them really sick?? Have you taken her to the Dr?? I would be doing the same as you if Briley were in the same situation. I would be watching her like a hawk. I'm am hoping and praying for you that she does'nt get the naughty pox!
We are going for more photos this thursday. The ppl that take the pic of the babies at the hospital called me the other day to come and have some photos taken. So we are all going in to get a couple of family shots done. I'll need to do some of what Kim is doing and go get some pampering done!!
Has anyone heard from Kellee?? I have'nt seen her on MSN or BB for ages. She must be still busy with the wedding hey.
I am going to bake a banana cake now!! I might be back on later...
Ciao

A banana cake! - hehehe bananas are about $13 a kilo down here!
My brain's so wiped out from over tiredness Sara I need to at least look like a normal person!
Sara can you email me that website? She has a dummy, but baths are a battle anyway - 1 a day before bed is definitely enough. I'm almost ready to ask for a sedative prescription for her - I've got to get some sleep.

Kim was just talking to my SIL (the one whos kids have the CP) and she mentioned phenergan. I am not sure whether babies are able to take it but she said that it helped her girls settle and sleep.
Just a thought.

Funny you should mention that Leanne. I'm getting desperate and we were talking about that today, but you need a script for the baby stuff now. If it keeps going I will be seeking a script. I'm even desperate enough to ask for a sedative.

Wow I have 4 pages to catch up on… I will try and breeze through it really fast so I don’t bore you all with a really long post!
Sara ~ I can’t believe he is trying to crawl already as well! Em weighed 6.87kgs @ 4 months and will get weighed again next week when he’s 5 months. The infant ones say up to 8kgs so I didn’t even think to pick up the next size lol.
Shazz ~ That pic of Ryan is just adorable on your ticker. How much has he grown!!!
Mummy4Life ~ Have you had Samuels party now? How did it go? Good to hear that Phoebe is happy and putting on weight now!
Tania ~ It was good chatting to you on MSN. So sorry about the virus thingo again!v Haha about mummy knowing best with the formula feed! We have the same outfit for our boys – the “Did I get my good looks from my daddy!” one. Its very cute! Just checked out the website and Jayden is just adorable. Cheap/free hairdresser!!! Lucky you!!!
Leanne ~ Glad to hear that the clinical psych went well. I have to agree with you on the MEN comment… can’t live with them can’t live without them! I hope it isn’t chicken pox!
Vic ~ How are you coping now that the school holidays are over? We still have a week left here. Interesting about the FF and BF – Em has 180ml bottle at night and the morning but during the day I can’t get him to take more then 120mls (he normally has 3). Normally it would be cold here (and still is at night!) but we are in the middle of a heatwave lol – its 38 here tomorrow  YAY for Adam sleeping through as well!
Kim ~ I can’t believe Miss Darcy is still playing up for you! I wish I had the answers! WOW @ the projectile vomit as well – sounds charming and well aimed lol. Happy belated anniversary as well! If the Cabbage Patch Kid doll is important to you then you’re not being silly. There are certain little things we all had our hearts set on when we were pregnant and whilst they aren’t important to others they are to us! Does that make sense? However it would be very cool to have a CPK with the same birth date! I hope Darcy’s CC improves soon. The christening invites are great! Did you do them yourself? And Darcy is just gorgeous! I got your email as well. Thanks so much.
Sheree ~ I hope you and Lachie are doing well and things improve with his feeding and weight gain. I can’t imagine the stress you are under with all this. Big  hun! I still nurse Emerson to sleep. Sometimes he’ll drop off by himself – other times he won’t!
Sara ~ OMG look at the cheeks on Briley in your ticker photo – she has changed so much!! Cairns sounds wonderful – I am so overdue for a holiday its not funny!! 5cm growth in 3 weeks is massive!! The bikinis sound gorgeous!
Beck ~ How cute of Jovi missing her Daddy! I hope he is feeling better soon. I hear you with the side teeth. That was exactly what Mister Emerson was doing before his back tooth cut and then disappeared! New job and move sounds great for you! I love seeing Em with other bubbas – he is so cute with his cousin!
Ok now a quick update on us! Despite not wanting to start solids before 6 months Em had other ideas and is now on solids twice a day. He still has all of his milk though. In just a week I have noticed the difference – I am scared to get him weighed next week! He has just started getting up on his hands and knees and rocking backwards and forwards. He shuffles backwards and forwards on his belly but so far no crawling. I can’t believe we are all hitting or have hit the 5 month mark. I think I might cry when the first bub turns 1…
We have been flat out. The scrap booking party was great – there are some amazing tools you can get which I am just dying to get now! We also had dinner in Adelaide one night. Em was so well behaved and the meal was divine! Only have a few things planned for this week! Em is taking so much more energy now days. I play with him lots on the floor and we’re always doing something. Its lots of fun but I’m now finding it hard to get things done. We start swimming lessons in a few weeks so I’m so excited about that!
I just dropped a jar of food and managed to catch it in my hand wrong side up. Got it all over me and the carpet. Happened to look up 5 minutes later to see it on the wall and ceiling as well
And its so strange staring at that photo of myself....

Well we actually used sugar bananas grown by US on our on farm!! It it turned out awesome too. It was beautiful....YUM YUM!! I also emailed you the link for that website too. Hope it helps in some way.
I think that Briley might be teething. She just seems really out of the ordinary. And she is munging on her hand something shockin. And the dribble thats coming out of her too. I did say the other day that i could feel a lump but i am not sure if its her gums or a tooth. She bites down big time on my finger when i put it in there to have a feel around. She is real clingy too. This afternoon she would'nt go to sleep unless i was holding her. I wish i knew what to look for. I'll just have too wait and see what happens.
Ohh well... I am going to chow down on a bit of my cake!! Then i might make an early night of it i think.
Talk tomorrow
Ciao
